The road came to an end and was replaced by a narrow, muddy path. Kethoro stopped the car and got out. The sound of singing birds filled the air and aside from that, it was peaceful there.
Victor got out of the car, "So we hoof it the rest of the way?"

"What would you do if you wern't from a hunter family?" Victor asked as they walked.

Kethoro lept over the gate and into the field. Looking up, the sky was now almost completely cloudless. Which of course was a good sign.
Victor followed Kethoro over the gate, "So how often do you come here?"

Kethoro closed her eyes and waited for the druidess to return. It was peaceful, save for the birds singing but she found that rather relaxing.
Victor listened to the birds and attempted to identify species by the birdcall.

"My child, I am afraid the elders have refused," she told him.
"May I ask why they refuse?" Victor asked as he stood.

Knowing he was following, Kethoro climbed up onto the wall and lept into the darkness of the city below.
Victor followed, having no problems with the wall and eyes adjusting to the darkness.

The distance between the motorway and the ground below was a good thirty feet or so. Kethoro had landed without injury and had begun to walk down the dimly lit street. Over one hundred and fifty million people lived in the city and most were in crampt highrises. Though there were flats in the surrounding area most of the buildings were two floor houses.
Kethoro checked her sword and a zat'ni'katel before turning down another street.
Victor landed easily, and seeing Kethoro fiddle with her sword, thrust his hands in his pockets.

A flaming arrow struck the ground in front of Victor.
"Keth, you got a shadow," came a voice from somewhere above.
Victor looked up at were the voice was, "Of course she has a shadow, everyone does." Victor called up.

A boy of fourteen lept from one of the rooftops. He too had silverhair.
"This is the one that left The Red Cow with the Gunn brothers," he said.
"And as you can see, I'm still alive, even thought they tried." Victor replied "So what's your name?"

The boy kept his eyes on Victor. "A dhampir, I say we bait Elrich with him," he said.

The vendor just shook his head as another customer came and sat down. It was the silver-haired man that had been watching them.
"The usual Tavan?" the vendor asked.
He nodded and moments later he placed a bowl in front of him.

"Baka," he remarked. "Lots of people have the same colour hair and aren't related."
"Never met many people with silver hair before thought," Victor replied "And both the two I met today were related."

"It's the way we Draconians are, outsiders think most of us dye our hair weird colours," he replied, tucking into his ramen noodles.
"But it didn't look like they dyed thier hair and it doesn't look like you do either." Victor replied

As the vendor looked up, the silver-haired man took a gun out of his pocket. He aimed over his left shoulder and fired. Behind them came the sound of something like dust hitting the ground.
"You are related to Kethoro arn't you?" Victor stated at Tavan's actions.

He shrugged and went back to his ramen noodles.
Once the soup was at the right temperature, Victor began eating the soup.

Tavan finished, bowed to the vendor and walked off.
Victor finished shortly after, left a tip, and headed on his way as well.

Tavan headed to where The Red Cow once stood. Usually some vampires would come to gloat about the destruction of a rival vampire. Once there, he saw that Kethoro and Firiat had had the same idea.
They silently acknowledged each other.
Victor continued on his way heading to a mall.
