Probably not. I'm pretty attached to mine. Plus, we're trying to make the GA a guiding thing, not the direct government of the nations. We want them to still do their own thing.

For those of you new Space Nations, life can be tough. If you're just emerging now all the good territory is taken, and there are lots of big people out there who can push you around. For the old guys there are lots of competitions, territory claimed by two nations, endless wars, and trade stifling. Well, we are here to propose an end to this. A Galactic Alliance, a governmental body that will help smooth out the inter-stellar pathways, and help the new guys along. Unlike the U.N. on Earth, the Galactic Alliance will not rely on the powers of it's member nations to get things done. it will have it's own army, and it will have it's own trade fleets, repair depots, and everything else. it is not here to rule you, but to help you. All nations are welcome, and we have a loose constitution to help smooth out the differences between member nations. If you have read, and accept the constitution, you're in.

Galactic Alliance

Article 1:
Each member must adhere to Alliance laws and mandates.

Article 2:
Each member maintains control over their territory, as long as it does not conflict with Article 1.

Article 3:
Any technological developments or creations from before joining the Alliance is strict property of its creator, shared only at his/her wishes.

Article 4:
Any technological developments or creations from after joining the Alliance are shared with all. Any constructions belong to the Alliance.

Article 5:
Any warship constructed using technology obtained from other members after joining the Alliance is an Alliance ship, being under the command of all members. It shall be crewed by people from all members, and subject only to the orders of the Alliance.

Article 6:
All members must give all other members free passage and trade to their systems.

Article 7:
If a member is in trouble, not caused by his/her doing, all other members are required to pledge any support they can.

Article 8:
The Alliance may only embark on a course of action after it has been approved by all members.

Article 9:
No one in the Alliance may cause harm to another member, unless there is just cause, upon which they will be expelled from the Alliance.

Article 10:
Any member may propose a change to the Articles, and may propose a new law at any time. These shall come into effect immediately upon the ratification by all member nations.

We're having diplomatic talks with Elara (nothing really happening there, we're mostly just getting drunk), waiting for a reply from Valion, and Pedaphiliac just sent some battleships to Jimathon, but I don't know what they are or why

Had the North Carolina and Raleigh been allowed to stay, then the battle would've never happened.

I seem to be getting a lot of demands to withdraw my support forces from regions that are soon attacked...

I've just captured a vessel violating Imperial Space. Upon interrogation of the Capitan and anazyling the log...I have this to report:

The crew of the Correllian Corvette Valdeez have orders to recon the Alliance for a possible attack. The Log was scrambled so I could not tell country of orgin, but the CRV is being analzyed and a country of orgin will be found.

Well, recently(about 100 NS years) we finished a research facility, Black Mesa, where various types of research and development are being done. Our last project prefected teleportation, and we'd like to start building a space program.

Well, if you're not a space nation yet, I don't know.. Tell you what, I'll send 3 sheba class vessels (flying ducks), you can use those at that Black mesa joint to get a space program going, when you finally reach intergalactic travel, you're in.

This is the poser GA. The original GA was run by Verindgee Gemeeten and lost to the UOHN in the early days. It stood for the Global Army. Then the UOHN and i region crashed them and now they are all deleted. I would suggest a name change. Seeing GA sparked my memory..people may mistake you later.

I think I made that one a bit to complicated to understand. what it means is that if the Alliance gives you technology, and you use that to design a ship, then the Alliance gets those designs to make it's own ships.

as in joint information makes it a joint ship. We can make more of them. I spread around my technolodgy for like increased hull hold, and klonar designs a ship, well any one of us in the alliance can make the ship.

but it is basiclly two ro three rings around a central area. pylon, or something. several engines are mounted to make it fly fast. the corridors to and from main structure to rings are heavily armored just incase of things hitting it or being attacked. The defenses on it are basicllly several hundred or so laser cannons and beam cannons with missle tubes. they are used in planetary defense while a colony is being established and used as transport ships.

Well ill explain this since i shouldve before. Colony ships for civilian use (no ones i used in war games) are armed with laser cannons on outside incase of astoroids or something in way or being attacked. They usually go together in a box kind of formation (basiclly like the flying fortresses of ww2) the military ones are armed basiclly with all weapons and armor and are used as support ships for a fall back line kinda thing and are used as planetry defense mainly. shouldve explained that one before.

yep exactly. civilian just has a few ones so it doesnt mess up the speed. the military ones are made to be hammered on.

Just reported to me by Outpost 121-31, a Theft-and-Defect has just occured.

The following has been stolen:

2 Strike Cruisers (2 TIE Squadrons total)
1 Modified Strike Cruiser (1 TIE Squadron; Gravity Well Projectors)
3 Modified Corvettes (No TIE Squadrons)

Outpost 121-31 reports that these 6 ships all jumped into hyperspace before the Golan 3 Platform could do anything.

Please be on the lookout for them. The names are as follows:

They (reportedly) have only TIE Interceptor squadrons in their hangars, as the heavy strike and heavy interceptors (TIE Bombers and TIE Defenders, respectivitly) are on the Platform.

If these ships are found, disable them and capture them. I would like to have them returned intact.

I have just received the inventory report from Outpost 121-31. (OOC: This report is requried after any sort of theft).

It just got worse...

As it seems, the Base Commander had decided that making the Heavy Bombers and Heavy Interceptors mobile would provide a better defense because the vessels could nano-jump to the attackers entry point.

Well, he transfered the TIE Interceptors off the Strike Cruisers and Modified Strike Cruiser and replaced them with the TIE Bombers (w/sheilds) and TIE Defenders. From his report, the TIE Defenders are armed with Advanced Concussion Missiles and the TIE Bombers are able to be equiped with anything from Advanced Proton Torpedoes to Heavy Rockets to Space Bombs. The Assault Transports and Assault Shuttles have the same weapon options. Warhead stores were transfered to the Cargo Holds of the 3 Strike Cruisers.

USE CAUTION WHEN DISABLING AND CAPTURING THESE SHIPS!

These ships can now inflict heavy damage with little effort.
