Lars got out. He put on some plaid khaki shorts with a dark blue polo shirt and went to check on Amber. He ended up staying there, watching her sleep. "I've never even thought about raising a kid... having a family... it's always been work, work, work..... ever since that one day.... but now all this... I'm seeing what else life has to offer. And I kinda like it. What do you think Amber?" Lars was whispering quietly, so as not to wake her. He knew she wouldn't understand anyway, but it felt good to voice his thoughts, something he didn't do often, even if there was no one to hear them.

Milly came back and found him with Amber.
'is she good company' she asked.

Lucian stood on the beach, watching the waves come crashing in and going back out. It was all a bit much to take in, apparently two days is a lot of time. He pulled out his phone and called up the central Greywatch bank, he knew he had money. He came from a wealthy-ish family, had a lot that was left to him, had savings, and a good pay. He didn't know if quitting his job was the best idea, but he didn't want to leave Katja, nor did he want her to have to sell the beachhouse...

Katja stood next to him.
'what are you doing?' she asked softly.

Lucian flinched when he heard her voice, "I didn't even hear you... I thought you wanted- nevermind. I'm calling the Greywatch bank and checking on my funds, then I'm going to check up on my superiors and a few people who I consider to be friends... Just trying to get everything together." He smiled. "Just the stuff one should do when their life is about to change."

She smiled, she noticed Amber was asleep, when they got back home, she cooked him dinner and then lead him upstairs slowly and she turned the shower on for them.

Katja was allowed to go home straight away, the Feninian body adapted extremely quickly after childbirth, They drove home and arrived.

'The house is so clean, its nice to be prepared...' she said, she opened up the always locked room next to theirs, Lucian had never been there to find a perfect babies room, with cot and windchimes.

Katja lowered Santos into his cot and sat there for hours watching him.

Lucian stayed with Katja in the room for awhile, it was his first time seeing it and it was quite the sight, but then left to make sure he had everything in order. He still had some people to call and a few things to work out. He remembered the conversations he and Katja had about marraige and didn't feel likt waiting too much longer. They had a son now, and he needed to get into the father mind set.

Katja left the room and found him.
'Is everything alright?' she asked softly, slipping her hand into his.

Lucian pulled her closer to him, "Yeah, it's just... everything that's happened this summer. It's amazing when you think about it, just a couple a months ago, we first met. Now look how far we've come." He hugged her, "I never saw myself meeting someone, falling in love, having a relationship, and having a kid all in one summer. But I'm glad it happened."

Katja smiled.
'Yeah I just hope it hasnt gone too quickly....I just feel like I have pulled you along....you can tell me if you don't want to do things' she said.

'I am just conscious of you sacrificing an awful lot for me'

Lucian smiled, "Pulled me along? I came willingly. Doesn't matter too much where I end up, I just really want to enjoy the journey, and so far I've been enjoying the journey with you. Don't worry, I'll figure things out back at home and make a solid plan from there."
