No. If we could do that, I would of replaced Germany's Panavia Tornados with F-16s or MiG-31s. We use our countries' current military and RP any changes.

The alliance between myself and Dwelf is at the moment only a formal version of the agreement the US and Canada already have. Free trade, mutual defense, NORAD and so on. Hopefully I'm going to beef up my armed forces with his help however.

It would be vastly inefficient for you to develop your own sniper rifle since you don't have adequate facilities in place already. You'd have to build from the ground up whihc would be wasteful considering you wouldn't need a vast amount for your own military. Stick to importing them for now, I'd say.

Like Kampf said, if you joined PoG I would do some of those, but I mainly run my space program out of Plesetsk in Arkhangel'sk.

All of my launches for my new space station have been sent from Plesetsk since no one controlled kazakhstan to approve of me using it so I just started expanding Plesetsk in order to compensate. Plus, there are some reasons that I am not at liberty to share as to why I would rather run one without foreign eye's watching it.

Okay, so people worked in your nation from Burkina. If they did that in RL, why haven't they merged already (Or before the Civil War started)? There is a reason why, and due to that reason it isn't going to be that easy. The reason that they did that in RL was that they could have jobs and still maintain soveriegnty. I would have to bet that they would do the exact same thing as before with you to maintain their soveriegnty.

Canada didn't willingly join, right? I'm doing this off of no research, so I'm probably wrong.

But just thinking about it - Canada = War? I think that's more appropriate to other countries (in the past century - Germany, Japan, and Russia simply because everyone wants their land, and of course, the USA).

Canada's been in more wars the you think. They fought, willingly, in Korea. They were apart of Operation Desert Storm, and right now they are apart of Operation: Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, where there Leopard C2 tanks are soon to be replaced by Leopard 2s.

Also in WWII, Canada willingly joined the war. Hell at Normandy Juno Beach, the Canadian Beach, was the second worst after Omaha.

I think he is just trying to say that the Canadians do not engage as much military conflicts as other countries, such as USA, UK, Russia, and countless others. Most of the time Canada tries to stay out of world events.

America's GDP is around 12 Trillion. Thusly America is the Richest Country in the world and it has the 4th Highest GDP Per Capita.

China's economy for it's size is actually very poor. It's also slowly losing the Export Market is had in the 80s and 90s as countries like India, Pakistan, Mexico, and a few African Countries take over. Still the number one exporter in the world is not any of them, nor is it China. It is actually Germany.

I've been poking around :) I got busy with an RP for my main nation so I didn't know if I'd have the time to commit to this earth and righty basically its just so I know how much money I have to spend...anyone know how many troops Australia has active?..or just use pecentages like normal?

Yeah I just read; but it dosn't say if thats Active Combat troops; or if thats 50,000 total military personel including support which would drop Active troops significantly over all branches or if that is just the active troops and support gets added on top of that; generally I tend to keep a 10:1 Support Ratio for Logistiics - Less Troops; Better trained; better equiped

An Island with a military base on it. Just shelling them to force their surrender is a bad PR move. I moved in with stealth and guile and forced Diego Garcia to surrender without destroying the Island in the process. Just shelling them will cause damge to both the base and the enviroment, and knowing the soldiers that inhabit these bases, they are quite the fighters.

On an Island so small, Armored Fighting Vehicles might just become a liability. If the defenders are smart and know the terrain, they could easily knock out your armored fight vehicles.

Also how many ships are actually at the islands, China's navy right now barely has 75 sea-going vessels. That is unless you are sending Littoral Combat vessels out as well. Which is really not possible since they are designed specifically for coastal defence. I also really doubt that'd you send your entire navy to capture two islands.

Eh, the fat people are only in the South. The beautiful people are in Dallas and Houstan. As you gradually go north people gradually look better. Texas has pretty good chinese food.. I honestly thought that when I went to Tenessee they would have good steaks and what not. I was wrong. Thats stuff was awful in comparison to good ole' Texas meat. Fried food sucks and I'm stickin to it. I haven't had fried chicken or that stuff in a long ass time.

The Top of the line Shukoi would be the Su-35, which is only in limited production for the Russian Air-Force. The Eurofighter Typhoon on the other hand is in full production and it has better Avionics.

I'd take the Rafale over the Eurofighter...my opinion, plus, it can go for naval aviation as well.

If you want alot of Bang for you buck, buy F-16s. The latest flight of them are quite advanced and they cheap. They cost like $16 Million per fighter whereas the latest Su-35 is like $35-45 Million a figher. The Eurofigter, since it's actually the newest fighter in the world besides the F-22 costs roughly $45-50 Million. It's going down since I am producing nearly 200 of them.

Lachenburg is rarely on. And I can modify the Eurofighter to be used on Carriers. Trust me it's not that hard. Apart from strengthening the frame and putting in more powerful engines, all I have to do is add a hook for catching the lines that help stop the plane as it lands and add salination protection.

I'd honestly like the Chinese J-XX, but that's not anywhere close to production...so us interested parties sit and twiddle our thumbs waiting for that to finish. Or we wait for the F-22 to drop in price and become avaliable. Or we go elsewhere (ie, the Rafale, Eurofighter, Gripen, whatever). At least Pakistan has its own Tank and ground lines so I don't need to go overseas for that.

'Course, I need to supplement my naval lines, since Pakistan has nothing better than destroyers...which is...less than ideal.

Granate: As much as I'd like that, I need a carrier first :D That's more of my suggestion to the carrier-capable people (like India...). Of course, when I can get around to possibly locking one up, I'll see about things...but that won't be any time soon.
