Aequatian assault on Griffincrest Mercenary forces

As the Aequatian armoured fist advanced into the mercenary lines, a call came out over the battlefield, it was a recorded message presented by the loudspeakers mounted on the PSYOP EH-10D Super Raven helicopters:

"Griffincrest Mercenaries, your employer has left you to die for their own causes, around the world the corporation and its alliances are crumbling. Surrender now, and you will live to see your families and live long lives in peace!"

OOC: Still waiting on a reply from this on BC's part.
Undershi
24-09-2006, 01:05
The Undershi IIS Storm Troopers had accomplished their mission. They had charged a TWSP position... and had made it. As beatle-like IIS Storm Troopers screamed into the comm. channels as they perished from the horrid flame weapons of the TWSP forces, as tanks and IFVs randomly exploded into flaming wreaks, as all the world was filled with fire and death and cruel steel, scything through weak flesh and the metal and plastic shells that protected it... IIS Corporal Samuel Theisman stood in front of the ruined wreak of the Viper IFV he had been ridding in until recently, firing his Gauss rifle wildly and screaming to the world:
"You norms! You bloody norms! Kill me!!!" as he shrieked those words, bullets slammed into his armour, some finding weak spots, some boucing off. As blood seemed to almost spray from the holes in his armour, as the pain became almost unbearable, he spoke again, quieter this time, so that his voice was lost to the world amidst the chaos of the fighting:
"It's not you I hate." that last statement made, he crumpled, his knees buckling and his head slumping forward. He had died.
All around his body, the last few survivors of the 122nd IIS Storm Trooper Division fought on - they had already lost over 90% of their original number, but they still fought on - their lives were already over, and they knew it - retreat would mean only slaughter, and surrender was impossible. They fought on, hoping against all knowledge of the overall strategic situation that by some miracle, a force of the CA might come to relieve them, to exploit the damage they had done to the TWSP forces... to make the deaths and losses they had already suffered have meaning.

OOC: The 122nd IIS Division has at this point lost all but 17 of its Drake MBTs, and all of its Viper IFVs, along with 9,430 men - all but 570 of their number. These guys are supposed to be the most elite Undershi soldiers - that's why they haven't broken yet. That, and because they're True Undershis, they're all a bit psychotic...

The battle raged on, still, Soviet Soldiers were amazed at the Undershi's fighting abilities, whom, though loosing more than half their men kept fighting.
One young officer grabbed a a megaphone and started speaking to the enemy -"Soldiers of Undershi, you have no reason to fight here! Your goverment has lied to you and sent you to die far away from home! SURRENDER, YOU WILL BE TREATED FAIRLY, GIVEN WARM FOOD AND GOOD DOCTORS! WE WILL NOT HARM YOU! SURRENDER!"-

Considering the fact that the vast majority of their Expeditionary Force had already been destroyed, or was being destroyed as they waited and watched, the Imperial Undershi Navy Carrier Group Descartes saw little reason to remain in foreign waters while their homeland was threatened - and, after all, they had even less of a desire to join their fellow carrier Nietzche at its final undersea resting place.
Therefore, before the enemy can bring it to battle, the Undershi navy task force is retreating. There just isn't much more it can do...

OOC: Unless of course some other CA nations might have their naval units form around it?

The ground fire had done little against the AH-72 pilots, who had been trained to keep their aircraft hidden for the most part, only exposing their aircraft to fire off their Hellfire III missiles against the enemy armour. The helicopters moved forward and began to saturate the last area containing the Undershi troops with 70mm high-explosive incendiary rockets and 35mm armour-peircing discarding sabot rounds from the autocannons, even though they were hitting Soviet lines, they felt it was more important to engage the enemy forces and utterly crush them with firepower.

(OOC: I will try to beg on your behalf, as I wish to preserve Blackhelm for my own interests.)

Well, actually, they are freeing Blackhelm from the Corprate Alliance terrorists...

Since the Griffencrest corp is a private industry with privately funded and an independent military with no real borders, I believe OOCly it qualifies as a terrorist organization. It also has a military and financial stranglehold on many smaller nations.

Therfore, in order to conduct this war with GASN approval, we declared the Griffencrest Corp and the Corprate Alliance terrorist factions.

And as ringleader/CEO, Griffencrest is now wanted by the GASN INTERPOL (or the closest thing we have to it) for multiple crimes against humanity and national soveriegnty (such as fixing elections and influencing governments).

Tocrowkia
24-09-2006, 04:19
Even if Tocrowkia wasn't able to bring up a fleet as quickly as it hoped to support the Soviets, they were able to help in another manner. High above the battlefield, One Osiris-class bombardment platforms hovered over, using it's advanced AI systems to target, and lock onto the Griffincrest lines.

And then, they unleashed a lethal payload. Six ICBMS were launched from it's revolver-style firing system. They ignited, and blasted their way down toward Earth. Their skin was coated in layer after layer of high-endurance composite materials to endure the heat of re-entry, thus nullifying that problem.

Upon reaching the Stratosphere, the rockets split in half, the extra propulsion no longer needed. The second half kicked in, and accelerated the missiles to a terrifying speed of Mach 18, each one continuing to plummet toward the Griffincrest lines.

Finally, after reaching accesses of Mach 20+, they impacted Griffincrest's forces, each missile containing explosives that would equal that of a MOABS. Each one exploded two miles apart, and mainly targeted personnel positions. The Reich was cautious enough, how ever, to make sure no Aequation or Soviet Forces were destroyed, or at least, few of them. In fact, their entire objective was to provide support for Aequatio's assault. A mission they hoped they had accomplished.

IC: Now that the Confederacy was involved in war, their SDI satellites maintained constant observation over Tocrowkian missile silos and assault platforms. As soon as the missiles were fired, the satelites kicked in, firing intensified beams of light, similar to a primitive laser at the rockets. In the event of this failing, four railguns were also fired at each. Still, one missile got through, and landed on the far right of the line. Hundreds of men were killed or wounded by the attack.

Thirty ASAT missiles targeted the launch platform, and were fired up into space by a Confederate SuF-8.

The last few survivors of the Undershi 122nd IIS Storm Trooper Division let out cheers of relief as the Blackhelm forces crested the hill and added the weight of their fire to that of the last few survivors.
By this point, all but one Drake MBT and all of the Viper IFVs had been knocked out, and the last two hundred survivors of the original 10,000 were fighting amidst the wrekage of their armour, using the burning hulls for cover.
As for the aerial bombardment - it had cost them dearly, but they had fired back - their shoulder-launched SAMs and the sheer volume of Gauss fire they were pumping into the air was going to have to have some sort of affect against the enemy helicopters, at least...
As the mercenaries came to their rescue, the 122nd IIS Storm Trooper Division held, fighting from a position constructed mostly of their own dead and the wreakage of their AFVs. But... they still fought. The IIS Storm Troopers had never surrendered before, and they weren't about to start. God willing, thanks to the rescue force sent to their aid, some of them might even live to fight again another day.

OOC: Total Undershi cassualties are now:
- 9,804 soldiers (out of an original 10,000)
- All but one of the Drake MBTs
- All of the Viper IFVs

Their sacrifices will be remembered!

Pudite Naval Instillation PC-0332, Central Pudite Prefecture, Preparations for an Invasion
Admiral Panslovak was standing roughly fifty feet above the ground, in a low tower overlooking the shipping yards of his home compound, PC-0332, if a Pudite could have a concept such as 'home'.

He was standing here because recently, in a divided issue the Dominion had decided to enter into the war plaguing the Blackhelm Confederacy and the Griffencrest Corporation. Now, only hours after the Emperor adjourned the People's Council, his Battlefleet was making preparations for launch.

Floating about three miles away from their Admiral, there lay the entirety of the 1st General Purpose Fleet Group, comprised of over three-hundred combat ships and sixty support vessels. The centerpiece of this armada was the Admiral's own flagship, the Calypso class dreadnought, the Purifying Touch, blobbing, if a ship weighing over a million tons could bob, next to her sister ships, the Blessing of the Light, and the Emperor's Grasp. These three giants sat at as the center of what would be a combined battle fleet of over four-hundred ships.

The Admiral looked down as the diligent worker-clones of the Farmer caste loaded supplies and ammunition aboard the great ships of his fleet, as aircraft landed and took off from any of his fifteen aircraft carriers or as the smaller frigate and destroyers maneuvered through the behemoths of the fleet to take up picket positions or as the few hundred helicopters of the fleet made back and forth runs from shore depositing crewmen and cargo to the ships.

"All this," The Admiral remarked to his aide, Mr. White, who stood behind him, "will soon deliver unto the foes of the Emperor the justice they earned those many years ago... On the shores of Londim..." The Admiral quieted his pious outburst as the memories of his campaign in Londim returned to him. Yes, this Admiral now was the same which had overseen the war that led the Dominion to its position against this 'World Soviet Party'.

The Admiral turned quickly and walked out of the room, passing Mr. White on his way out He would remain here and handle the international relations of this compound whilst his commander went to war. It would not be exciting, but that was never a factor when one thought of ones job, now was it.

In three hours the great fleet put to sea, steaming at a steady thirty knots toward the shores of the World Soviet Party. Before, however, the fleet got that far they would encounter a pair of naval invasion fleet groups and a fleet transportation squadron of over a thousand ships, which would be joined, ad hoc, to the formation of Admiral Panslovak for ease of command during wartime. They would arrive in the territorial waters of their prey in four days, along with over one million and one-hundred thousand fanatical soldiers of the Dominion...

This war was just beggining...

A very brave Soviet Soldier (or stupid), stopped retreating, he got on top of a big rock, so the enemy could see him and yelled -"LIKE HELL WE ARE!"- then he turned his back at the enemy, pulled his pants down and shook his ass at the Mercs. This careless act influxed the soldiers with courage, turning, they began to fire at the incoming enemy soldiers and vehicles with all they got, a Commissar slapped himself and ordered a full stop while the A-10s which were incoming got ready to Napalm the whole Griffincrest's Advancing Troops.

OOC: ArRRRGGGGHHH lost track of this thread, my bad.

As the Griffencrest troops began too encircle TWSP soldiers, rumbling could be heared.

It wasn't long, before 350 Heavy tanks began too roll over the hills, as the began too fire their turrets at the mercs. Machine guns mounted on the tanks began too rain fire into the Griffencrest ranks.

Thousands upon thousands of loyal soldiers ran as fast as they could, with "WE ARE COMING COMRADES!" and "WE ARE HERE BROTHERS!" Rang out.

Rustovian generals had planned for a griffencrest chemical attack on the counter attack. Too counter this before they could, 700 Attack helicopters flanked the Girrfencrest artillery, and fired missiles, and pounded the positions with rail guns.

Smack in the middle of advancing mercs, 105 mm howitzer shells erupted, causing miniature earthquakes.

All across TWSP, the Griffencrest advance, was now faced with Thousands of Rustovian soldiers and tanks.

Warplanes approached oncoming mercs, pounding Griffen armor with missiles, and bombing roads that Griffencrest was utilizing. This along with precision long range howitzers, pounded into the mercs.

Aequatian/Griffincrest Lines

Rocke's "brigade" had been pulled from the spearhead and removed to a more rear area as the 1st Armoured Division's elements took over the fight against the mercenary lines when the massive explosion ripped into the line, "What the fuck?" He said to himself as the radio chatter pikced up.

"Goddamned Tockrowkians," Yelled one channel, "Those assholes fucking think they can win the damned war from space?"

"A whole infantry battalion was wiped out, along with their attached tanks," Cried another channel.

The 1st Armoured moved its forces into positions, each brigade taking up firing positions as they continued to fire on the enemy forces. The M55 tanks targetted the armoured vehicles of the mercenary army while the M4A2 Spartans and Cyclone air defence vehicles, the latter using its deadly 25mm Vulcan to its full potential in raking the enemy lines with high-explosive rounds, fired on the enemy infantry. Colonel Rocke looked up into the sky as the roar of jet engines could be heard as the hundred and twenty BA-74 Arrow attack bombers dropped in on the enemy lines and released massive payloads of CBU-120 weapons, releasing more than 172,800 shaped-charge submunitions over the enemy lines while the F-1C Banshee strike fighters stayed back and released their CBU-4S satellite-guided munitions, as their previous laser-guided weapons, although lethal, had lost much of their effectiveness with the amount of smoke choking the front lines from burning vehicles. In all, 480 of the 2,000-pound bombs rained down onto the enemy positions, aimed for infantry and vehicle concentrations, according to reports provided by the fire support teams on the ground.

The tri-divisional artillery units maintined their advancing barrage against the mercenary lines, the 216 Sabre 155mm guns fired their high-capacity high-explosive rounds, allowing 5,184 of the rounds to rain down on the enemy lines while the Fire Arrow MLRS launchers fired their nimble 130mm rockets, raining 172,800 submunitions over the enemy lines as the Broadswords fired 864 high-capacity high-explosive airburst rounds, which sprayed the enemy lines in deadly shrapnel.

Undershi/Soviet Lines

One of the Viper helicopters exploded in midair as the Stinger missiles began to take their toll on the gunships. Their numbers weakened, they withdrew as the second squadron arrived on station to begin their attempt to hold the lines. They singled out the most important targets, the large Behemoth II assault tanks as the helicopters fired off their AGM-114Q Hellfire III missiles against the targets. The line had to hold, no matter the cost.

While the helicopters provided a screen to support the Soviet soldiers, the 2nd Armoured Division massedits maneuver units behind their lines as the tanks and armoured fighting vehicles were fueled and quickly prepared for the counterassault. A message was sent to the Soviet commanders fighting:

Either keep fighting or get out of the way, Death's Hand is coming through...

Aequatian 2nd Armoured Division

The divisional artillery units setup in their initial firing positions as they fired the opening barrage, the Sabre 155mm guns fired their high-capacity high-explosive shells in fast, but controlled, sequences as they sent 1,728 rounds flying through the air and into the Griffincrest advance. The Fire Arrow MLRS units fired their larger 250mm rockets which released 96,000 shaped-charge submunitions over the enemy lines along with the 288 of the SADARM rounds fired by the Broadsword 203mm guns.

As the barrage started, the maneuver units of the 2nd Armoured started rolling towards the Soviet/Undershi and Griffincrest lines at full speed. The M55 Black Tiger tanks leading the way as the smaller M4A2 Spartans and Cyclone air defence vehicles kept up. The fighting had been ugly between the Soviets and the Undershi troopers, as Death's Hand Division moved towards the line, they enemy was about to be smashed.

Grenades flew over the trenches at the enemy, as warplanes continued too sweep over Griffencrest lines, battering moving armor. Heavy bombers taregeted suplly lines, going too the front lines.

Rustovian built tanks fired thier massive shells at oncoming armor. This along with AT RPG's, would hopefully slow the advance. Attack helicopters continued too lob missles into the Girffencrest artillery.

"Cheers comrades," He said to them, raising his canteen. "May you return to them soon." He took a seat on the ground, lifting the black visor off his helmet revealing a slight smile across his face.

Thousands of men were dead now. Thirty thousand mercenaries littered the floor. The center of the line had finally cracked and began to pull back. The men on the left and right flanks of the Soviet/Aequatian forces, however, still fought. The middle line pulled back roughly two hundred yards, once again leaving hundreds of ATG-44 mines as they withdrew.

Rustovian lines were targeted for another gas attack. 200 BM-21's aimed at the Rustovians. Admiral Ironclaw saw their presence here a an insult, and wanted them to pay dearly. Each BM-21 fired thirty-six rockets, bringing a total of 7,200 Cyanogen Chloride filled rockets slamming down onto enemy positions.

Each BM-21 fired thirty-six rockets, bringing a total of 7,200 Cyanogen Chloride filled rockets slamming down onto enemy positions.

The shells slammed too earth, producing disgusting yellow gas.

"GAS COMRADES!"

Commanders began too bark orders over the radio.

For many, it was too late. 14,000 instantly died, and it seem more deaths were too come.

"They will pay...." Muttered the Rustovian too the WSP soldier, as he took down a retreating mercenary.

As the Griffencrest soldiers began too flee, nothing could save them from the hundreds of A-10 II's, flying low and fast. Griff armor wasn't spared, the massive anti tank bullets, that flew at, along with the guided missiles.

B-52's ahead, dropped their ordinance on the retreating mercenaries, as helicopters (who had taken out some Griffin artillery, making the chemical attack less potent than Griffen would have hoped) They now turned their guns on the mercs retreating.

"SPARE NOBODY!"

The Rustovian shouted as he mowed down fleeing mercs.

B-52's high explosive napalm, which a flight of 45 B-52's were armed with, caught a large Girffen movement below.

"Get those bastards."

The Bombay doors opened.

"Sir! Griffen gas has killed 46,000 soldiers!"

"Is this confirmed???"

"Yes, sir. another 13,000 are ill."

"Very well."

The 105 mm howitzers, that had been hammering the griffen soldiers, now began too fire their crude, mustard gas equipped shells.

A lone Rustovian got out of the trenches, his AK-47 high in the air. He turned too shout at TWSP and Rustovian soldiers.

"ARE WE TO LET THE DOGS FLEE???? KILL THEM!!!"

Cheers erupted from the Rustovian lies, as soldiers sprang up, too join the courageous patriot.

Rustovians began too dawn their gas masks, fashioned in the 1970's style. They began too give chase.

Tanks pushed up at full speed, firing high explosive rounds at the retreating mercenaries.

Colonel Rocke had found out why his brigade had been pulled off the line when the engineers and forward support personnel proceeded to install the large mine plows onto the front of his M55 tanks while they refueled and rearmed them with ammunition. He had heard that the mercenaries were starting to pull back, although the flanks were becoming harder to fight off. The 4th Infantry Division was called forward from Red City to help hold the flanks, if the assault brigade and the 1st Armoured pushed ahead without securing the flanks, they could end up being surrounded and crushed like the Wehrmacht units at Falaise in 1944. Rocke smiled as he stood on the roof of his tank, How could they think we would fall for such an obvious tactic? He thought as he lowered himself inside and took his seat as the brigade's tanks and Spartans moved forward. The PSYOP people had installed loudspeakers on the exterior of the M55 tanks before they left so that they could play their "surrender and live" messages, although Rocke's gunner had rigged up the loudspeakers to a small MP3 player and started to play music, as the units advanced, Edgar Winters' "Free Ride" played outloud as the 1st Armoured's maneuver units held strong a corridor up to the mines that had been laid.

The three DIVARTY units maintained their barrage against the centreline units as the assault brigade moved forward. Raining thousands of high-explosive shells and hundreds of thousands of submunitions onto the mercenaries. As the artillery and assault brigade kept their fire on the centre units, the 120 F-1C Banshee and BA-74 Arrow aircraft shifted their fire onto the flanks, supporting the 1st Armoured's positions by dropping 480 additional 2,000-pound bombs and 172,800 cluster submunitions, respectively, on the two mercenary flanks. Two of the 1st Armoured Division's attack helicopter squadrons each attacked the flanks as the division fought on against the mercenaries while the third moved ahead with the assault brigade, strafing the retreating Griffincrest soldiers of fortune with 70mm rockets which airburst and rained burning white phosphorus upon the enemy while the 35mm rounds that missed enemy soldiers or vehicles tore into the ground and shredded trees they struck.

----------

Sergeant Wolfe kept watch through the periscope as the mercenary rockets rained down on the Soviet/Rostov lines, Poor bastards, He thought as the 2nd Armoured Divisions lead brigade joined the line and opened fire on the mercenary lines as they trampled the bodies of the dead from all sides, Soviet, Undershi, they were all ground into the earth by the Aequatians' tracks, the time to mourn would have to be later, the battle required all attention as they raked the enemy lines with 125mm tank shells, 35mm autocannon rounds, machineguns while the AH-72 Viper helicopters poured 70mm rockets and 35mm rounds into the lines.

The 2nd Armoured Division's counterbattery radar suite's immediately tracked the imcoming rockets and traced the trajectories back to the positions of the 200 BM-21 MRL vehicles and a response was fired immediately, the 72 Sabre 155mm mobile guns all sang in staccato as their batteries fired, sending almost 864 high-capacity high-explosive rounds down upon the enemy launchers. The massive Broadswords fired 288 of the own high-capacity high-explosive 203mm rounds on top of the enemy positions.

That was what they hoped. As the Rustovian positions began to move to chase the center, the Griffincrest right and left flanks each detached a division (each has quite a few divisions, remember there are 500,000 men) and completed the encirclement. Now, Rustovian forces were completely surrounded. Many men were killed in the bomb runs, over 2,000, but the SA-11's quickly launched up their own barrages at the enemy B-52's and A-10's. The A-10's were also targeted by Stingers and regular rifle fire.

Thousands of rockets and shells, all loaded with HE warheads, pounded the now trapped enemy force. Machine gun positions, along with captured chainsaw positions tore into the enemy position from all sides. AV-18's hovered above the battle pumped away with their chainguns. Thousands of mortar shells poured in. Behemoth and Leopards unloaded their deadly weaponry with no mercy upon the trapped men. Mercury APC's used every gun on the, four machine guns and a grenade launcher, to maximum effect.

The BM-21's were mostly destroyed. 15 managed to limp away.

OOC: I'm a little confused as to the explaination, a diagram would help me out.

IC:

I Corps Headquarters, Red City Airbase, Red City, TWSP

The general pounded his fist against the table as he received reports of the encirclement of both the Soviet and Rostov forces, "Goddamn those idiots!" He shouted as his face turned red with anger, "I want to redirect the 2nd Armoured to break that encircement, now those bastards are going to get away from us."

----------

Sergeant Wolfe fell to the side and hit the wall of the Spartan MCV as it turned, "What the hell?" He asked, looking up at the vehicle commander.

"Sorry, sarne, we've been told to redirct our assault," He said as he kept his eyes on his monitors, "The mercs have surrounded the Soviets and Rostovians, idiots went right for the trap."

Wolfe sighed as he sat back in his own seat, "Well, let's get it done then."

----------

The colonel felt his tank shake as the plough detonated one of the Macabee-designed anti-tank mines, "Those boys really know how to build things," He said as another mine exploded and threw up a pilar of earth.

"Did you hear that they helped our R-and-D guys with that new tank, named after old Black Horse?" Said the gunner as he traversed the turret to bring the gun to bear on a retreating Griffincrest Leopard II tank and fired one of the sabot rounds, "Load HEAT!" He called out as he aimed the gun at another vehicle and the loader slammed the round home in the breech.

The tank jolted as the gun fired as Rocke kept watch on the enemy lines through his thermal viewer, "I heard the thing's pretty sweet, roomier than his toy and a better gun, I know you'll like that one, Woody."

The gunner smiled as another sabot round was loaded into the gun and he fired at another Leopard II, "The PK3, I heard it makes this gun look like a peashooter. Load sabot!"

"We'll have to see then," Said the colonel as the tank continued forward, along with the rest of the brigade as the 1st Armoured Division held their ground on the mercenary flank attack.

----------

It seemed as though all of the Aequatian artillery was firing as the air reeked of burnt cordite and was hazy with smoke as the mobile guns moved forward after each barrage, never remaining in the same location for more than ten minutes. The slowest units were the Fire Arrow MLRS vehicles, as they took the most to reload, although they did so after arriving at their new firing locations, as reloading in the same position they had previously fired from was nothing short of a death sentence. The moving barrage continued, with thousands of shells and rockets nearly breathing fire and submunitions over the enemy forces.

The SA-11 missiles took their toll on the aircraft, despite their countermeasures. The heavier BA-74 took most of the weapons, with almost twenty being wiped from the sky along with ten of the F-1C Banshee fighters. The F-1C aircraft remained in the area to safeguard the rest of the BA-74 Arrows while their conducted their strafing runs on the rear units of the flanking maneuver units, attacking the supply trains and reinforcement units with their 35mm rotary cannons.

At the airbase, sixty EF-2B Baal electronic countermeasures aircraft were loaded with their weapons of the trade, anti-radiation missiles and cluster bombs, as they were deployed for their classic suppression mission along with a hundred and twenty F-2A Abbadon tactical fighters, fitted for ground attack.

OOC: True, Aequiatio has my flank (or I have his:confused: ) So you cant really encircle us....

The Rustovians were shocked at the wall of men. Many fell too the impressive Griffencrest fire.

A-10 II's fell too the stingers. About 120 were shot down fairly quickly. The remaining 100 rose, too avoid infantry based AA utility.

B-52's reached thier ceiling, too avoid AA, as they dropped napalm, on the encircling Griffen left flank.

Mustard gas flew ahead of the attacking Rsutovians, blowing towards the mercenaries.

At this time, man Rustovians had thier masks on. About 3,400 Fell immidietly too the Griffen countering mercs. However, they would find, that 400 Heavy Tanks were more than a mach, as the 50. cal guns, ripped through the mercs, and the high explosive shells were very effective against the Griffen infantry.

Helicopters swung around the flanks of the attacking Grifens, sawing them down with mini guns.

105mm Howitzers, aimed deeper into the Rustovian lines, with thier mustard gas shells.

110,000 Rustovian Infantry, 500 Tnaks, 400 Aricraft, and 700 Artillery pieces are en route too aid the 143,000 Rustovians fighting.

F-44's flew high and fast, striking mobile AA units, at high speeds, as too avoid the deadly missels.

The Infantry on the fron lines, fought through a cloud of mustard gas, (with thier masks on) firing thier Ak's like madmen, falling like animals for the salughter. Several soldeirs, waved the flag of rustov (http://img101.imageshack.us/my.php?image=rustovflagfh6.gif) high in the air, yelling in Russian.

Meanwhile, northern commandos are setting charges outside of St. Johns, as Rustovian B-52's approached, too drop thier payload on the maldorian soldiers.

130 Rustovian tanks, appeared outside of St, Johns, awaiting the commandos signal.

Rustovian artillery began too pull away from firing on the Griffen soldiers, as they expected WSP artillery too take thier place.

The squads grenadiers pumped 40mm white phosphorus grenades at troop concentrations, while the others hammered away at the individuals. The troop AT men fired their light antitank weapons at incoming vehicles, and readied to kill the evacuating crew when they would leave the smoldering wreckage.

IC:

The sheer weight of the Rustovians, began too push through the BC mercenaries, as they fought and died for thier country.

The chemical shells exploded around the lead advancing Rustovians. There were chuckles, and smirks. The lead force was well prepared with chemical BDU's, thus aside from blast damage from the shells, uneffected.

Tanks broke out on the thin encirclment on the left and right, meeting with Aequatio forces. The armor halted, waiting for the allies too catch up.

Another large barrage hit the Griffen left flank hard, too open an area of attack for TWSP soldiers.

By now, the Rustovian mortar teams were well in front. After the infantry had a good defensive line, the 2300 mortar teams set too work. Supply/ammo trucks, pulled up too the mortar lines, as helicopters watched them from above. The mortars rained down on the Griffen front lines, weakening the Griffen advance, allowing Rustovians from the rear too regoup in the front.

TO: TWSP Forces on the field

We have caught the left Griffen flank with a strong blast of artillery. Suggest you take this opportunity too make a large armored/infantry advance. Beware mustard gas pollutes the field. Watch for allied mortars as well.

Long range missles artillery from the Rustovian reserve army, began too fire, deep into Griffencrest lines, as Rustov reserves approached from the east.

60 Helicopters shot down.

43 Warplanes downed

6,700 Rustovians killed

14,000 evacuated due too wounds.

It gives us great pleasure, to announce that, as a nation, we shall not be attacking the Blackhelm Confederacy or their allies...

The answer is simple really, the Griffencrest Corporation [accents this with a lewd body gesture] is just that, a corporation, a company of free individuals who tok it upon themselves to rule not one nation, but an empire without every becoming a legitamate government, Griffencrest Corporation has been frequently been cited for crimes against humanity, and don't get me started with his 'associates'."

[farts, followed by the loudspeakers attempting to recreate the noise of a nuclear explosion, crowd bursts into laughter and outrage]
Time elapsed since last post 29 Minutes

"But seriosly, they 'take care of their own', with as much infighting within their own ranks, it becomes understandable that the occasional bullet hits a soldier every so often, rather than some 'useless civillian' as they often call them. They even went to us for their weapons and places to put their delapidated planes. Well, you can bet the farm, they will be mighty shocked the next morning."

[Aid walks up to podium with letter, Hubert reads it silently]

"Well, our attempts to arrest Griffencrest peacefully have failed, and now I call upon all our allies, that may know of his location, or the location of any of his close friends and reletives, to please step forward, and bring these monsters to justice"

[Goes over the physical appearance, history (real and ficticious in order to make them look bad), and charcteristics of the Griffencrest family, this passes considerable time]
Time elapsed 34 minutes

"As I speak, Two of the largest airbases in the control of the Griffencrest Corporation are in flames, and all surviving terrorists are being captured as we speak, we are also launching massive ground and air assaults in The World Soviet Party and New Ausha against rear echelon troops of the terrorist fronts, and now, I leave you, please enjoy this recent footage of the demiolition of the Griffencrest airbases"

[Cresendo of 1812 overture starts as Pinkerton leaves, projector screen drops down, and projector shows film of the demolition at the New Roanoke Island, Griffencrest Airbase which happened not more than 8 minutes ago]

As the final minute and climax of the song repeated for the second time, a soft pinging sound could be heard, followed by the intense overpressure of pre-placed explosives. Placed when the airbase was custom made for Griffencrest planes, a film crew with a camera, machinegun, detonator control, and loudspeaker opened fire and started filming, the hardwired louspeakers would be the last to be blown up, as a sort of cruel way of torturing the mercenaries with a song celebrating the defeat of a power mad warlord in a war of attrition.

The macine gun burped to life as mercenaries tried to flee the complex as it alternated between explodin, burning, and exploding again, more help arrive in the form of the newly formed Marine Raiders riding in FMX-6B gunships and Mi-6 Halo helicopters, the high pitched whine of the mostly gas turbine powered HT-101E8 and HT-106C2 tanks could be heard not far away, and opening fire on any surviving armor and crushing all remaining pockets of resistance.

Within a minute the fighting had stopped, the film crew started packing up, and the tanks and Marine raiders where given the last few seconds of film showing them round up prisioners and checking the wreckage.

The crew was then picked up by an awaiting Mi-6 Halo and flown to the Navy base a mere 30 miles away in order to send the video on live T2 internet connection loop to Notoorough PROHT for use by Pinkeerton.

It doesn't get through gas masks, but rather it reacts with the masking material in some masks, reducing their useable life times (and at the end, the mask can't stop any gasses anymore). However, other masks may not react to it in such a way. To quote:

The "mask breaking" properties of cyanogen chloride (which were aided by a humid environment) would lead to a resurgence in interest in the agent during World War II, when the Americans would decide that it might be useful against the Japanese (whose gas masks lacked the impregnants that would provide protection against the mask breaking action of CK).

Newsflash: Gas masks don't instantaneously fail. And as you'd note from the quoted section of that link, it's possible to construct gas masks in such a fashion as to prevent that deterioration.

The type of activated carbon employed in a given filter cartridge depends on the specific type of industrial contaminant to be screened. For example, carbon treated with a combination of chromium and copper, known as "Whetlerite carbon," has been used since the 1940s to screen out hydrogen cyanide, cyanogen chloride, and formaldehyde. Today, due to concerns about chromium toxicity, a combination of molybdenum and triethylenediamine is used instead.

Also, it can effect the men via the skin.

Can, but that's what NBC suits are for, and it isn't easily done.

Be aware that effects of this agent may be delayed, especially if the exposure involved skin contact with the liquid agent. Also note that very high concentrations of vapor or direct contact with liquid are required to produce injury by percutaneous absorption, especially if exposure times are short.

OOC: Yes after several hours exposure, skin exposure is also only an issue at very high concentrations, which would be EXTREMELY difficult to achive on an open battlefield, everything i can find on it suggests that it is not a terribly useful chemical weapon and would only ever be used because it was cheap and readily availble from various industrial processes. The HAZMAT info on it does suggest that in the open modern "filter" gas masks are perfectly workable as a defence for a significant period of time it is only in enclosed spaces where they would be inadequate.

OOC: Rustov, how did you get behind my artillery? And as I told Wanderjar, CK gets through gas masks. That is why I used it.

IC: The mercenaries had already had on gas masks. It was a standard part of the uniform, as all men carried a Lewisite grenade, primarily for use on civilians or untrained soldiers.

As Rustovian infantry attempted a breakout, four of the captured Chainsaws, alongwith thousands of M60's, RPK's, and G36E's cut down thousands.

OOC: If you had read my posts, you would be fully aware that attack helicopters have been poundningyour artillery with missles strikes. BC are your guys wearing masks! Stop ignoring my mustard gas attacks if they aren't!

IC:

As the Rustovian main line began too waver and TWSP failed too act in the attack, the Rustovian 7th army had arrived. 300 Tnaksplowed into the mercs right. 110,000, fully dawned with chemical protection, rush forward, firing thier weapons. Also im gigving you a full blast of the ignore cannon until you RP my napalm attack on your lines.

"Sir! 7th army is here!"

"Excellent, give the artillery cordinates."

With a few clicks on the keyboard, the transmission was sent. 7th army artillery began too aim, deep into the mercs right flank.

Mortars were able too pound into the merc chainsaws and heavy artillery, allowing the Rustovians too regroup.

A massive flight of B-2 bombers (130) B-52's (500) and A-10 II;s (500) along with thier fighter escorts (600) flew high from the east, locking onto thier targets. The bombers rose too a strong height, as too avoid AA as did the B-2's.

*Over St.Johns*

Without warning the B-52's (700) began too drop thier payloads on the unsespecting Maldorian soldiers. 155mm Artillery pounded the area with mustard gas, as the wind had changed direction in Rustovs favor. Low flying Apache, blackhawk, and CHinook helicopters began too drop soldiers in the outskirts of town.

A formation of 3oo heavy tanks pounded Maldorian defences, and moved on the south flank.

F-44 interceptors, began too attack all Maldorian aircraft.

34 Rustovian submarine shad arrived, mission on thier minds. They broke into organized packs, and crept up on the maldorian ships. 5 Stayed behind too surface, too fire thier high-explosive missles on St.John.

Off the shore of The World Soviet Party, Pudite Battle Group One, Commanded by Admiral Panslovak
The Admiral stood inside the plush command-observation room of his massive flagship, the Purifying Touch. From here he could observe nearly all of the Pudite battle fleet, arrayed in perfect formation, the evening light playing off the pure white armor that was the trademark of the Dominion's navy. It almost hurt his eyes to look at that many bright spot before him, but merely shifted his vision down into the infrared spectrum and he recovered. Sitting before him, nearly twenty miles off the coast of the World Soviet Party, he stood, commanding over four hundred fighting ships, and ten times as many support craft, with hundreds of aircraft sitting at his command, and over a million fanatical soldiers of the Emperor awaiting his orders. Quite the step up from a single OPARR fleet of nearly thirty ships only seven months before...

"And now I'm back..." he muttered to himself, staring at the shoreline, the green hills and crashing waves... Of course he had never been here before, but he had fought this particular designation of foreigners before, seven months before. That was where he earned his promotion and partly the reason why he was recommended for this command. He knew these people, he had experience with them. Never anything the like this before, but Panslovak was not green, and knew how to adapt his fighting style, unlike many commanders of the Emperor's armies.

Behind the Admiral stood an aide, a new one, as his old Mr. White was left behind, in the Dominion. This man here was Mr. Grey, the diplomat variant of the Merchant caste. He had learned that someplace, but he forgot where. Mr. Grey was rocking on his heels as he thought to himself, Panslovak interrupted him, "So, Grey. We are landing tomorrow then, correct?"

Mr. Grey was torn from his own calculations and responded quickly, switching his computer-like brain over onto this new topic, "Yes sir, I have discovered a prime landing zone, a small stretch of beach overlooking a great wide plain. Something we can defend, if it ever comes to that, and someplace easy enough to allow the supply trucks to continue their work unhindered by geography as we advance to the front."

The Admiral was glad that there would be no delays upon arrival, "Good work, Grey. Now, when can we get there, and how many at once?"

The aide responded again, quickly, "If we begin at the second hour of the day, we can arrive before the sun rises, and have all the combat personnel unloaded before the sun sets." The Admiral looked impressed, but before he could speak, Grey continued, "Of course we'll have to take time to establish a logistical base, although because a large part of the battle has been done for us, this can be managed easily."

"Excellent, so the day after tomorrow the troops could begin operations?"

Mr. Grey countered, "Not so, if you requested it, because there will be only token resistance, the combat divisions could begin operations only sixteen hours after landing, no wait required, other than immediate supply needs and organization."

The Admiral turned to face his new aide, "Good, even better. Relay the message to my commanders, I want them at the front lines twenty-four standard hours after the landing."

Mr. Grey gave a sharp salute, palm facing outward toward the Admiral with the fingers touching the temple, turned, and walked briskly out of the room to the elevator behind him. Directly below them, a few hundred feet down, was the command-communications room, whist above them was the command-command room. These were the only places that elevator went, up and down the 'command column' as it was known.

The Fleet held its position, watching, waiting for the moment to strike...

Imperialism is no cancer. It is the natural progression of nations. It is one of the major aspects of the natural selection that creates advantages for the strong and destroys the weak, making the world, in itself, stronger. To be rid of it would be like nature where no organisms were killed. The weak and stupid would reproduce exponentially, leading to the ultimate worsening of the entire process.

Pudite Battle Fleet, Soviet National Waters, Awaiting Deployment
Admiral Panslovak had spent the last hour surveying his fleet and meeting with his own ground commanders to further discuss their requirements once ashore, he was just now walking out of one of the many armored conference rooms aboard his great ship, heading back up to the command column.

He was taken by surprise when Mr. Grey, his aide, approached him, moving urgently, "Sir, report from picket forces details medium-sized foreign fleet heading towards the Soviet Party's waters."

The Admiral was even more surprised, he didn't know of any other friendly forces still to arrive, they were supposed to be the last, "Who are they?"

Mr. Grey, still calm, replied, "Sir, those ships bear the flag of... Wanderjar..."

The Admiral swore under his breath before he responded, "What! Where are they coming from!"

Grey responded quickly, "Wanderjar, sir."

The Admiral looked up from at his aide, a frustrated look upon his face, "Thank you, Grey. Thank you." Panslovak turned behind him and noticed that all his ground commanders were gone, no doubt halfway off his ship by now, anyway. He continued, "Well Grey, get up to C-C, let's welcome our old friends to the war!"

Panslovak followed Mr. Grey in a hurried pace up to the Command-Command room, at the very top of the mast, already the bridge was bustling with activity, the soldiers here having already heard the orders. Panslovak took a seat on a large black command chair, from which he could see the entire room... It filled him with pride to know that in seconds is would be these men who were responsible for the slight discomfort of the Dominion's Wanderjarian friends...

In seconds the Purifying Touch, as well as her two sister ships, and the more than four hundred ships that surrounded them, opened fire on the approaching Wanderjarian ships simultaneously. As one, all the ships in the glistening white Pudite fleet rocked to the left as their broadsides opened fire, followed by the incandescent trails of literally millions of anti-shipping missiles. Soon after this barrage was put up, the Pudite aircraft took off, scrambling hundreds of aircraft in what was going to be one of the largest concentrated Pudite carrier operations in history.

The three Calypso class Dreadnoughts themselves launched over one-thousand P-800 Bastion missiles, each delivering two-hundred and fifty pounds of high explosives to the decks of the enemy ship, impacting seconds before the hundreds of thousands of pounds of standard gun munitions slammed though the upper decks of the enemy ships, coming down in high arcs, as they are designed to do, and exploding below decks, causing maximum havoc. Also, the 36" rail guns, supported by a plethora of smaller rail guns, ranging from the twenty five inch to the six inch guns, impacted the sides and structure of the Wanderjarian battleships. They were either aimed at the prow and stern, where armor belts are typically weakest, and the large command towers and bridge decks above the ship, where there is both light armor and important personnel.

Also opening fire were hundreds of 550mm supercavitating torpedoes, some arriving before the missiles in the air, and impacting the smaller foreign cruisers that had been picked up, hopefully impacting with enough force to punch though and do maximum damage to the enemy craft.

The last two elements of the Pudite fleet were the submersed and airborne elements, both of whom would be targeting the large enemy carriers. In all, there were only eighteen attack submarines, and they would be forced to engage, from a distance, the enemy fleet while below the protection offered to them by the hundreds of Pudite frigates floating a few hundred feet overhead. While the Forthar-class remained stationary, the Port class cruise missile submarines, of which there were also eighteen, retreated behind the Pudite fleet's line and readied themselves to fire the first of many heavy missile barrages into the decks of the enemies aircraft carriers.

Going up a few thousand feet more, one would encounter the six-hundred and twenty-five fighter aircraft scrambled by the Admiral, who were now making their way towards the enemy fleet, preparing for an attack run, targeting the decks of the twenty enemy carriers before they could get too many of their fighters in the air. Although it would take some time to get all the fighters in the air, they were authorized to attack in their ten-aircraft wings, and so there would be little waiting for the other aircraft and a minimal of wasted time and fuel, both of which were at a premium in battles such as this.

Surely the enemy will have detected the Pudite fleet by now, if not before them, then the massive response to their mere presence may give them an idea...

The lines had been drawn, and the pieces committed, now all that was required were the opponents opening moves...
Wanderjar
28-09-2006, 01:51
The Admiral smiled. They'd done exactly what he'd wanted.

"Alright lads! Give them hell!"

Counter measures operators went to work readying to defend against the Pudite missles, while launching their own. Meanwhile, their main guns opened up firing at the enemy ships. Naval Bombers from the opposite direction targeted their surface ships, as the missile launches gave away their exact coordinates, and hammered away with Chevrokian Anti-Ship missles.

The Wanderjarian Sub-Heavy fleet began targeting enemy ships from beneath the waves, launching numerous salvos of torpedoes.

The carriers from the fleet also launched their own ships, and hundreds of fighter/bombers took to the sky, ready to use their Anti-Naval missiles.

The Pudites would be sadly mistaken if they thought they would have an easy time with the Wanderjarians.

The colonal in charge was looking over the latest reports that were comming in from the line. Radar jammers were being burried into the ground to make it more difficult for artillary to pinpoint the location of the Shazbotdom Marine Corps.

Roughly 500 Garrison aircraft were also being prepared for bombing runs on Griffencrest and Corporate Alliance positions, although it would take several hours for the Garrison aircraft to be fully prepared for the attack in the Corporate Alliance forces though, so until that time, the perimiter defences would just have to hold off the Coprations bend on world domination.

The Undershi 122nd IIS Storm Trooper Division had taken near total losses from the TWSP units they had opposed - all that was left of those 10,000 men who had entered the fighting in the Battle of Gomez Valley were 57 men who could still fight - mostly walking wounded - and some 100 odd who could not - they had served their country well, though, and would recieve the best medical treatment available once they reached their home.
It was sad, to look at those paltry few survivors and remember the proud 10,000... but they had done their duty, that was all there was to say. They would be remembered. Still, in the course of doing their duty, the 122nd IIS Division had been obliterated as an effective fighting force. For that reason, they were leaving TWSP, heading back to Undershi... where they would raise a new Division to carry the battle honors of the old one.
As they boarded the transport that would take them home, they couldn't help but look back towards the fighting... and wonder what good they had done with their sacrifices.

Why in the hell did you give up your land?

This I will answer with a mixture of OOC and IC.

"I'm getting irritated with all of this pointless war-mongering amongst our alliances. It is against the GASN Charter to even declare war upon others without good enough evidence. I hate the fact that this continues on, and I'm the only bloody person that would actually make the sacrifice of my own land and unselfishly give it to someone else. This is why I just gave up such a large portion of land, and it is why I am beginning to question some of the reasons as to why I joined the GASN in the first place. My original reasons were to be part of an alliance that could actually do some good in this world. Well the only ones I see that actually pull this through are Cravan, Shatzbotdom, Aequatio, Zukariaa (Now Departed), and a few others. I would have included myself, but at the present time, I do not believe that I have really proven myself fully GASN capable. We are to uphold the Sovereignty amongst the world, not bloody declare war after god forsaken war against those that looked at us the wrong way! This is just unmistakingably unnecessarily dare I say, Stupid. Now then. As I have said before, CEASE ALL HOSTILE ACTIONS TOWARDS ONE ANOTHER!"

Pudite Battle Fleet, Soviet Coastal Waters, Wanderjarian Naval Battle
Admiral Panslovak stood in now in the command-observation room aboard his colossal dreadnaught, the Purifying Touch. From here he could observe the battle unfolding before him quite effectively. He had left a Vice Admiral in charge upstairs, an up-and-coming young man by the name of Miktin. He was a seasoned officer, although he had little real combat experience. He had been present in the Dominion's latest series of naval battles off Chitzeland, however, and knew what he was doing.

Panslovak was confident in his leadership now, thus his return to the observation deck. Here he was accompanied, as always, by his Mr. Grey, who was standing a few steps behind him and seemingly staring off into space. The Admiral's eyes, by comparison, were darting around the battlefield before him, watching a second volley of missiles leave a small cluster of Swiftsure class destroyers, Those are some nice craft, big, sturdy escorts... he thought to himself. As he was thinking that he saw the lead craft take a direct missile hit to the command tower, nearly knocking the thing clean off, and yet soon after that the ship loosed a third volley of missiles.

The situation was the same everywhere he could see. So far the smaller escorts had been taking the worst beating as the two fleets neared each other while the light ships exchanged long-range missile fire supported by the capital ships big guns. Speaking of big guns... The ship suddenly jolted beneath the Admiral, accompanied seconds later by a nearly deafening explosion. The 36" rail guns were giving off a second volley, soon followed by another salvo of missiles and smaller, but still noticeable, weapons firing.

Not all of the missiles being fired were headed for the incoming ships, Panslovak noted, some were, aided by the CIWS of the giant Pudite armada, headed for enemy missiles the foreign fleet had returned.

Almost seconds after the battle had started, and it already appeared to be in chaos. Groups of small corvettes and frigates were grouping up, performing anti-submarine work or readying themselves for a lighting raid into the center of the enemy fleet, as it got closer.

Far above the fighting ships on the surface, were the fighting craft of the air. Some six-hundred Pudite fighters and interceptors were operating above the two fleets, and the lead elements of the air groups had already impacted the foreign jets. The fighters would each loose a pair of R-78 air-to-air missiles, which would scream forward at mach four-point five, delivering a one-hundred and seventy pound explosive to the target via LIDAR-guided warheads. Supporting that would be the popular 30mm automatic cannons mounted in the nose.

Also occurring out of sight of the Admiral was the war below the waves. The enemy submarine craft outnumbered their Pudite counterparts, but the Pudite's had not yet made the mistake of leaving their escort ship cover, and were thus rendered quite safe from the enemies attacks. No submarine casualties were reported to the Purifying Touch, the command post of the fleet, nor were any torpedo-related damages to any capital ships, although a pair of Lionfish class frigates had taken some noticeable damage while defending the Pudite submarines, although as a whole, the Pudite maneuverings and anti-torpedo measures were working well, so far. Once the ships closed, the torpedoes would be far more deadly, to each side.

Casualties above the waves accounted for the damage of a single Swiftsure class destroyer, the massive explosion and complete sinking of the Champlain class frigate Herald, the damage of a pair of Lionfish class frigates, some minor deck damage to both the sister ships of the Purifying Touch, and some damage to a rear gun turret on board a Helina class Battlecruiser sustained via combined missile strike and glancing hit from large gun.

The Admiral counted himself lucky as he observed the damage to the Blessing of the Light and the Emperor's Grasp, and was beginning to think about retreating down into the bowels of the ship, to the command-communications room or a secure briefing chamber, both of which had direct uplinks to the bridge. These thoughts, and those of Mr. Grey behind him, were both immediately swept away as a gigantic explosion occurred only a about a mile out in front of the Pudite fleet, which, despite the range, showered the entire armada in water, and managed to knock both the Admiral and his aide to the floor with it's wave.

"Emperor damn it!" The Admiral shouted as he stood up, "What was that!"

Mr. Grey, who had already leapt to his own feet responded quickly and without pause, "That, sir, was a catastrophic outward explosion of force, probably caused by a-"

Panslovak cut him off, sharply, "I know that, Grey. What made it?!"

Mr. Grey quickly switched his mind over a few channels, coming to rest at what he knew about giant foreign artillery, "Well sir, judging from the impact velocity and angle of the shells, combined with the force projected, I'd say that was a Dephirian Dominator Cannon shot, aimed to land roughly between the two fleets to further-"

The Admiral interrupted again, "Thank you, Grey. Bring that intel up to the CC room, and tell them to continue as before..."

Mr. Grey responded, "Yes sir, be right back sir."

Mr. Grey turned to leave, but before he could get to the elevator Panslovak stopped him again, "Grey, how did you know the impact angle of an artillery round landing more than a mile away?"

Mr. Grey turned back to his commander and responded, "Well sir, you know. We are trained to notice everything. That's what we're here for."

Admiral Panslovak nodded, Mr. Grey saluted again and turned and left he room, on his way to order Vice Admiral Miktin to continue exactly what he was doing now.

This battle was just warming up...

We will tell you this once, and only once comrades. Submit too an armistance, and you will lose us as allies. An armistance is a small, deterrent solution, too a larger problem. Let us finish them. Meet with the 8th army outside of Red City. One more strike on the wounded Maldorian force, will wipe them out.

St Johns had been bombed hard, along with Maldorian ships recieving hell from Rustovian submarines.

The 8th army, of 150,000 men, 500 Tanks, and 4000 vehicles, began too move north, and too link up with TWSP divisions.

The 8ths objective, St. Johns (or wherever Maldorians is dug in) 155mm howitzers began a crushing blow, of fire. 3000 artillery pieces fired quickly, smashing into the defenders. Helicopters and jets flew by, too destroy patrolling Maldorian vehicles.

Though I share the fears and concerns of the GASN and allied nations with regards to the Corporate Alliance, I must also ask for all sides to consider a ceasefire.

Nuclear weapons have already been used in other parts of the larger conflict. Two nations have been devastated as a result - my troops in Clandonia Prime have reported their firsthand experience of the destruction. And one of the larger and newer nations to this conflict has threatened large scale nuclear strikes.

Therefore: the Democratic Republic of Trivalvia hereby endorses the Deserted Territories request for peace negotiations, and adds the following recommendations:

1) that a peacekeeping force be established to maintain a buffer zone between opposing sides in contested areas (this would be the current frontlines in TWSP, Blainesville, and Blackhelm Confederacy). Trivalvia is willing to commit the 3rd Mechanized Brigade to this force if formed.

2) that International Red Cross teams be permitted into Griffincrest occupied regions of TWSP, to monitor the treatment of the civilian population, and catalog any human rights violations.

3) that the nuclear and chemical arsenals of both Blackhelm Confederacy and Beiraq be sealed, and international inspectors sent in to insure they remain sealed.

4) that the surviving nuclear and/or chemical arsenals of Clandonia Prime and Blainesville be dismantled.

5) that all sides commit to a ceasefire of 6 NS months, and agree to negotiate for peace.

Trivalvia also lodges its support for a full restoration of captured TWSP lands back to the World Soviet Party. TWSP did not start this war, and should be offered recompense where possible.

Over the radio, men listened to Pinkerton's speech.
They were not astonished. They had been informed well in advance that they would be acting against the CATS (Hurtian term for the CA, after someone added 'of Terrorists' and then someone decided to (in an official report) reffer to the various nations as "CAT" "Kitten" and "DOG").

They then set down their cameras, loaded fresh clips, and started marching on CAT forces, they expected only 'Kitten' resistance at first.

The Wanderjarian Army was quite frustrated with the BC Armies persistance.

"I think I know a good way of slowing them down," Grinned General Wilhelm.

"What do you have in mind?" Air Marshal Erwin Schiefflen asked.

Laughing he said, "You know those E-Missiles we still have, that Guiderian had insisted on producing en masse?"

"I think I see where you're going, and I love it." The Air Marshal wolfishly grinned.

"Get some of those missiles flying. Hopefully they'll survive the trip inland far enough to not effect our troops."

The Missiles were fired from a position along the rear-front lines. In seconds, ten would cross over the Wanderjarian and Soviet Fronts, and cross into Confederate Territory. In it, contained an Electro-Magnetic Warhead, which when detonated or exploded by enemy munitions, would send out an EMP blast capable of frying silicon chips and all enemy electronics within three hundred or more yards. The larger the explosion, the farther away the waves would be carried, and thus the effective distance increased.

With a final grin, Wilhelm laughed, "This is seriously going to piss them off."

The Shazbot had recieved new orders. They were to head bearing Four Two One mark Five Nine Seven. and link up with the rest of the fleet. The combined fleet would then head towards Scandinavia where they would meet up with some more Thunderbolt craft and head south back towards TWSP.

The ship set course and started ahead, full steam, towards the designated point in which they would join up with the rest of the fleet. They had already retrieved all of the Thunderbolt aircraft that had been damaged and also the ones that left for the second run and put them below deck for the trip due east. They then raised up some of the Pelican Airships to the flight deck to launch them for patrol duties, a total of 15 were on the flight deck and they did a vertical takeoff and then began their patrols.

Some Garrison aircraft were also brought up to the flight deck but they were having routine repairs and testing done to them to see if they were up to standards and ready for use in the conflict. For all the Corporate Alliance thought though is that the Shazbotdom Fleet just disappeared away from the conflict, until they saw the larger fleet come at them. This would be funny because the Missile Cruisers that were to be added to the fleet would send thousands of SuperSonic Cruise Missiles in the direction of the CA Fleets without their knoledge. Which is what the Admiral wanted. He requested for these SuperSonic Cruise Missiles to be bought from The Phoenix Militia for this specific reason.

Although at the moment the Zukariaans were not getting involved in the war, if they did, they would be in support of Griffincrest. Secretly, they transfered $100 billion to them. They also sent an encrypted message to Claudius Griffincrest saying simply:

We are willing to help you in the World Soviet Party.

The GASN had lost all respect in the eyes of most Zukariaans, save for a select few who actually cared for the original cause (as Zukariaans saw it). The war in Blackhelm had shown them how valiantly the men of Blackhelm could fight. The Zukariaans had more in common with them than most of the GASN.

In Seseer (a nation under control of the Zukariaan Empire), a fleet of 150 ships was being readied, as the Zukariaans knew full well that Griffincrest would accept. Three million Seseerian soldiers were pulled to fight along with two million Zukariaans, as it would be much cheaper to take care of the Seseerians, who were "less" than Zukariaans. Within days, the force would be ready.

He was doing checks of the different aircraft that was loaded up onto the carrier when he felt the fleet start to move towards the designated area where they would pick up more of the Thunderbolt Craft. The Admiral wondered why they didn't transfer any of the Aurora or Badger craft to the fleet. He then walked up towards the flight deck, saluting at the crewman who saluted him as they passed him by. As he stepped onto the deck of the ship he saw the missile cruisers gathering up with the fleet. They formed a tight nit triangle format as they began to head back east, towards the Russian Port. In about 4 hours they would reach the position in which the Thundebolt craft would join up with them and land on the various aircraft carriers.

One of the crewman walked up to the Admiral and saluted.

Crewman: "Everything is going according to the plan, sir."

Yackber: "Excelent. Inform the Captain that he is in charge until we rendevu with the Thunderbolt aircraft. And tell him to inform me when we reach the rendevu point."

Crewman: "Yes, Sir."

Low flying planes quickly targeted and struck at Maldorian vehicles on the streets.

Formations of B-52's continued too make runs over highly defended areas.

Submarines continued their attacks on Maldorian destroyers and cruisers.

230,000 soldiers of the 7th army waited outside of St. Johns. They had established several lines of anti-tank ditches and mines. Along with anti tank wielding soldiers, low in the trenches.

Mobiles AA firestorm missiles launchers (x400) surrounded the advancing 7th army)

Kovaks: "Anything new?"

Aide: "Dephirian and Zukarian anti-war protestors spotted coming from the north, a few transmissions are being exchanged between them and our allies, can't make much sense from it but I'm guessing they aren't being polite."

Kovaks: "call general quarters."

[Klaxxons sound, Kovaks picks up the microphone]

"Men, this is Admiral Kovaks speaking, as you may have known, we have officially declared war on the terrorist faction known as the Corprate Alliance, as such, we shall not recognize the ationality or ethnicity of our aggressors, and we shall not condone the actions of collaborators and even less for traitors.

Hurtian Airstrip:
The beachfront forces finally made it to the field when they could hear shells fly overhead, the sight of a large black coincial shell "flying" overhead was sort of unerving to the younger green Army troops, but they quickly became used to the noise and the sight of the shell "floating" overhead (like sputnik but louder, bigger, faster, and closer).

They would sty at the airstip until the shelling eased off a bit in order to give the new arrivals a rest, to prevent troops from getting shelled and to await more men and supplies by air.

SCENE: USS Shazbot
The Admiral was called up to the bridge. The note said one thing though, 'the time has come.' He figured that the Thunderbolts were getting near. As he walked to the bridge, he saluted a few crewman who saluted him first. As he walked onto the bridge, a voice had called out "Admiral On The Bridge". Everyone stood up and he motioned for them to sit their asses down and then walked over to the captain. As he walked up to the captain, the captain motioned for him to walk with him out onto the balcony just off the bridge.

Captain: "They are comming from the west." He said as he pointed out behind the fleet.

They both looked back there. It looked like a large black cloud approaching. There had to be thousands of Thunderbolts comming towards the fleet. They would be distributed between the 19 aircraft carriers in the fleet. The Admiral then looked around at the California Class missile cruiseres, Oliver Hazzard Perry class Destroyers and the Arleigh Burke AEIGS Destroyers. The Missile cruisers he knew were loaded to the brim with Anti-Air missiles and tons of SuperSonic Cruise Missiles.

SCENE: Flight deck of the USS Starcher (Repulse Class Aircraft Carrier/Battleship)
The flight deck was cleared as dozens of Thunderbolts were slowly lowering themselves down onto the flight deck. This was the same scene all across the battle group as the 19 Aircraft Carriers, of three different classes, each gathered up a multitude of Thunderbolts. They would be ready in case they were needed to assault the Corporate Alliance fleets off the coast of The World Soviet Party...

The Rustovian 7th army was in full assault of St. Johns. Tanks rumbled over the hills, stopping only too unloaded a heavy shell, into the masonry protecting defenders.

Low flying planes quickly targeted and struck at Maldorian vehicles on the streets.

155mm Howitzers continued pounding, well known defended spots of the area.

Helicopters flew fairly high and fast, unloading their 50. cal machine guns, on the ant sized defenders.

Smaller fighters began too enter in dogfights with the enemy.

30-09-2006, 16:31
The White Tower, Alexandria:
"...and so it begins. We have several ships within the immediate area. Our aircraft carriers are refueling and rearming their aircraft for their next sortie. The attack submarines are patroling just outside of the fleet, and our Aegis Cruisers are defending the skies. Several of our Capitol DeathKnights are in range for use of the Stonehenge Cannons. There is, however, grave concern of a few things. One is that there are Zukariaans in the area, and two...well there are some other forces that were former GASN members."

The room's occupants began to murmur amongst themselves, but the head of the group called to order. Everyone was silent, except for one man. General Skragg, Second-in-Command of the Army.

"Does this mean that they have the ability to use our own technology against us? We gave them Dominators for God's sake! They could wipe out our entire fleet, then try to take over Dephire itself!"

Another man, a Admiral Coronado, spoke up.

"Don't be silly, our Dominators have a rather uniqueness about them. Each Dominator-Class Rail Cannon has a microcomputer that will tell it to shut down. They have the ability to think. So if one were aimed at, let's say for the sake of argument, at a Dephirian Ship..these cannons would immediately shutdown. Even if the cannon were aimed away, if it calculates that there will be damage to the Dephirians in the area, it will go 'night night'. This is all fail-safes we are talking here!"

The door opened and a few more officers came in. It had only been a few moments ago that the meeting had begun. Only Vega was absent, as to why? No one yet knew. Skragg nodded, then questioned more.

"So, our Dominators could very well be useless to these former GASN forces, yes?"

Coronado answered.

"That would be correct, James."

Once again the door opened, and some more people shuffled in and took a seat. No one spoke for a few minutes. Some were jotting down notes, others sat about gazing off into nothingness. Then a solumn voice came from down the table. He was no political nor military officer. The fact of the matter was that this was no man, but a boy. He was about the age of sixteen.

"So what are we to do, gentlemen? Shall we engage all enemy opposition and pray to the Gods that we win?"

Everyone looked at the young man. They were all speechless. One man stood up and cleaned his spectacles.

"Why, you are Vega's son, are you not? Drako Vega if I remember correctly. Where is your father?"

The boy nodded at the first question, and looked at his watch as the second was being asked.

"I am indeed Vega's adopted son, Drako. As to where he is, I do not know myself. Christine asked me to attend this meeting in case something should happen."

Everyone nodded and began to chatter again. Suddenly, the door burst wide open, and a man walked inside. His long hair was silver, and just went past the shoulders. He was dressed in dark red tunic with a long red trenchcoat like thing over it. A sword was at his side, and upon his face was a scar.

"We are to engage the enemy, and I will like to see this battle unfold first-hand. I want to lead my own troops into battle, not just sit behind my desk signing letters! Drako, look over the country in my absence. Coronado, get me the fastest aircraft you can to get me to the fleet. This meeting is over. We go to war."

Everyone in the room stood and saluted Vega. They hurried out of the room into their own places to prepare for the war effort. Drako left for his father's office, and Vega was escorted to a private armoured Escalade. It departed the White Tower, and headed for El Salvadorea. Hours passed, now Vega was onboard a helicopter. It rose to a few thousand feet, and departed Dephire.

Dephirian Fleet, Defiance, Seventy Miles Off The Coast Of TWSP:

"Guess what? We are about to have the honour of our beloved President come aboard our vessel. I want you sailors to get this ship cleaned up!"

Admiral Jane finished her quick speech, and was met with a 'Yes Ma'am'. They quickly ran about cleaning everything that needed to be cleaned, even the areas clean enough to be eaten off of were cleaned. She smiled, loving her position. It also saddened her, for it was Alexander who had given it to her. Nevertheless, Vega was now her superior.

Jane went into the Bridge, and looked around. Something caught her eye. When she looked closely, she saw a massive cloud of green on a radar screen. Jane picked up a radio microphone, and sent a message to the Shazbotdomian Fleet.

"We are picking up hundreds if not thousands of aircraft. Do you wish us to engage? Or are they Friendly? Please respond!"

She looked about the place, then saw the small fleet of DeathKnights. This made Jane laugh.

"For invading an ally of the Republic of Dephire, Blackhelm has subjected himself to Execution. Hopefully our allies will see through our mistakes, and will assist us."

Picket line (intermingled with trailing fleets): Tango class submarines (40) and 6 tube CAPTOR mines, armed with F/SC torpedoes. (40 to 80 mines X 6 tubes each = 240 to 480 torpedoes then add [40 submarines with 6 to 10 tubes each and two full reloads = 240 /w/ 240 reloads to 400 /w/ 800 reloads] = 720 tubes /w/ 240 reloads to 880 tubes /w/ 800 reloads)

First line (furthest from shore)
Hiragi Cruisers (20), and Sniper class destroyers (40) (203 mm and 125 mm railguns resp)
Tasked with defending, guns already pointed at Corprate fleet, in battle formation

Second line:
HTS Kursk and HTS Erie Auxillary cruisers and Terror class Monitors (20) (bombarding shore)
And the 4 Firebrand LPHs and a single Richards class. (supplying trops)

These are defended by the first line.
Picket line is to actively harass the attackers.

Admiral Yackber then picks up the microphone and pushes a button on the consol, sending an encrypted transmission to the Dephire fleet.

"Dephire Fleet. Hold your fire. That rather large flight group is our new Thunderbolt-class Starfury craft. They have been retrofitted to work in atmosphere specifically for the new Naval fleet. Were using them in this conflict. Over and Out."

He then set the microphone down and walked back out onto the balcony and watched as the Thunderbolts made their final approach to the fleet, doing a vertial landing onto the aircraft carriers, and then moving them over to the aircraft lifts and down into the borrows of the aircraft carriers. Moving them to locations that are out of view of the openings on the sides of the ship where the lifts are. It took only about 2 hours for the entirety of the Thunderbolt flight group to be landed onto all of the aircraft carriers. Then the fleet began moving at full speed towards their next designated point, roughly fifteen miles off the coast of Russia.

IC: The Air Force was sent back to St. John's and began firing their Sidewinder, and Sparrow missles.

Bombers used their countermeasures, yet many still crashed. The rest of the bombers were pummelling into Rustov Howitzer Positions. Hundreds of Anti-Air positions around the town were turned on and began firing into the enemy helicopters. Although the howitzers were a pest, the Maldorians sent in M777 howitzers, which were lighter and more powerful than their old predecessors. They began firing White Phosphorous munitions, which were creating fires, and burning anything they hit.

Once the Army in the town, was assembled they were awaiting orders for when to crush the Rustov attack.

--------------
The Rustov submarines were no match for Maldorian Missile Cruisers. Harpoon Missles and Goalkeeper Systems were blasting the subs out of the water with barely any casualties.

Admiral Hoffmann looked over his fleet as it moved away from Seseer. The island chain seemed to be moving away from them slowly. His dreadnought, the Zukariaan Might, moved in the center of a 150 ship fleet. Battleships, cruisers, carriers, the whole deal. Beneath them were 24 submarines.

"Sir?" a sailor stood at attention near the Admiral, who had completely forgotten he had been ordered by the High Commander to send in bombers, fighters, and deploy several thousand paratroopers ahead of the fleet. The admiral grabbed a mic and spoke into it.

"Carriers Immortal Glory and Might are to deploy forces to [Coordinates] in order to bomb enemy positions and reinforce Griffincrest Corporation movements against enemy positions. 20,000 men, no more and no less, are to get there as fast as possible and help them as much as possible." he finished up. Almost immediatly, the two carriers he had ordered were alive with movement.

Hundreds of men were moving across to the carriers to get read to move out. Then after an hour, he saw the planes begin to move out. The transport planes in the middile, bombers on the outside, and the fighters escorting.

The carrier battle group had reached their position near the Russian territorial boundry. The missile cruisers were preparing to launch the first volley of Supresonic Cruise Missiles at the fleets of the CA. Admiral Yackber walked over to the radio station and checked the logs. He noticed that there was no recorded message from the CA fleets notifying the USS Shazbot of their withdrawl out of the territorial waters of TWSP. He picked up the radio and punched in the intership communicators, calling the hanger deck of the ship.

Yackber: "Prepare a flight group for launch."

That was all he said then he punched up an Intra Ship communications signal, sending a voice message to the missile cruisers.

Yackber: "Prepare a volley of SSCM's. Don't launch them until I give the word."

He then cut out that transmission quickly and then punched up a random channel and sent a message to the fleets of the Corporate Alliance.

GLOBAL IC:
Yackber: "This is Admiral George Yackber of the Dark Empire of Shazbotdom to the Fleets of the Coporate Alliance. Don't try and track this signal because it won't work. You have 12 hours to respond to this message and withdraw from the area or else we will be forced to fire hundreds of Super Sonic Cruise Missiles at your fleets. They dialed up the satelites in orbit over the area and clicked into the targeting system and used the satelites to target a multitude of different ships belonging to members of the Coproate Alliance, including ships of Griffencrest, Blainesville and Maldorians. The missiles tubes on the ship opened up as dozens of Supersonic Cruise Missiles flew out of them. Captain Jackson looked out the bridge window and noticed that the same thing was happening at the same time on the other Missile Cruisers in the fleet. Each ship launched roughly 40 missiles and with 15 missile cruisers, that put over 600 missiles in the air launched at different Corporate Alliance targets along the shoreline of The World Soviet Party.

Captain Jackson watched as the missiles streacked out away from the fleet then dropped down to 25 foot above sea level and sped off toards their designated targets.

GNF ships pounded their numerous countermeasures as the enemy missiles soared through the air. The vast majority were shout down as there was nearly a half dozen counter measures on each ship, yet a Chieftain still tok six missiles when its defenses failed. It was obliterated as pieces or bone flesh and steel showered down. Next to him, another trooper stood up and readied himself to jump. Michael followed, as did the rest. Then the green light came on. The man ahead jumped. Outside the plane, hundreds of others jumped. It was now Michael's turn. He closed his eyes and took the jump. He felt the air rush him and the parachute open.

As the men fell towards the back of Griffincrest positions, the bombers flying with the transport planes began to drop a massive amount of bombs onto enemy positions all around. Griffincrest forces at St. John wondered how the Rustovian army got behind them so quickly without being noticed, but nonethe less enaged them. This worked well, as the GSF army would now be striking the vulnerable Rustovian read. Stinger missiles soon filled the skies as enemy A-10's made their passes. GAF Gnats took off, supported by dozens of F-4's, hunting down the B-52's and escorting in Hong-5 bombers to bomb enemy artillery.

Lewisite gas was also being employed, along with Chloropicrin (which gets through gas masks and causes you to vomit, thus removing the mask), on the enemy forces. This would be a bad day for Rustov.

The first Barracudas (about 15 of them) reached the Soviet Lines several hours into the battle, they stopped on a hill overlooking the Mercenaries's Tanks and readied their "Lance" missiles (specifically designed to blow the s**t outta HBTs, each Barracuda carries 8 "lances"). Once ready, they aimed at the enemy armour and fired a volley of 15 Missiles.

The Griffincrest Charge on the Flanks was met by the fire of hundreds of Machine Guns, RPGs, missiles, small arms and artillery.

Mercenary troops were being hit hard. Tanks burned all around them, and men screamed out in pain as blood flowed from their wounds. The mercenary war machine moved back another few yards in order to reorganize alittle.

The Soviet War Machine began an armoured advance on both the right and left flanks, pushing the Mercs to meet with its retreating center, Benemoth IIIs and Leopard IIs supported by Barracudas lay down a devastating fire on the enemy units while Infantry followed not much behind and captured as many POWs as they could.

The entrenched Marines readied their AT missiles and watched for the Griffencrest tanks to come out of the woodwork so they could open fire. Stationary guns were also locked and loaded while some marines hid in the dense trees a little less than a mile outside the city to ambush any foot soldiers. They were preparing to hold off any advances of the Corporate Alliance forces.

SCENE: Flight group Omega Three Four Two
The flight group of Boeing 777's was making it's way towards TWSP. They were about two hours out from the nation flying at a little over 45,000 feet. The marines were checking their equipment as they waited for the word to assemble at the back of the aircraft for paradropping. They wern't sure why the BlackOps forces wern't sent but they were up for the challenge. Suddenly each Division commander paced through the ranks and handed their men a small box. No one knew what the hell this was for and they were wondering what it was for and/or why it was given out to them.

DC: "Men. This box is your lifeline. If you are exposed to any sort of Biological or Chemical agent, what is in this box will save your life," He said as the men opened up the boxes. You could hear gasps as they saw what it was. "This needle has been designed by Shazbotdom Medical Surplus Inc and contains antigens for almost Ninty Nine percent of the worlds biological and chemical agents. Although we are not sure if it will work properly in the field as it was only tested in the lab."

~~One Hour Fifty Minutes later~~
A red light encompased the insides of the aircraft and the clocks scattered throughtout the insides of the aircraft becan counting down from ten minutes. The men checked their guns and slammed in a fresh clip of amunition. They would hit the ground ready for anything as they didn't know how far the Griffencrest Mercs had gotten. Each man watched a clock with an intensity none of them have felt before, not even in basic training.

OOC-It was several hundred bombers, by the way.

Nearly 200 men were killed in the air, with nearly a hundred more injured. Four transport planes and 2 bombers were hit. One bomber exploded in mid-air, nearly causing a crash with another plane. The falling plane's pilots aimed their falling planes into enemy positions, intent on taking as much with them as possible.

The planes began moving back towards the fleet to take another load of equipment and troops to the front. The fleet was now linking up with the Confederate fleet. Since, according to what the Zukariaans knew, there was already a secure way to the battlefield near Red City, it was to be a rather easy landing. Several hundred jets began to lift off and patrol around the fleet, looking for incoming fleets or other attacks.

A message was sent to the Confederate fleet, informing them of who it was and what they were there for. Preperations for the first landing of 200,000 men into TWSP began.

The first wave launched. The men hit the beaches and began to unload Zukariaan "revolver" artillery, which was based off of technology from the Kraven occupation (the nitroglycerin/C12 compound that he uses) that would fire off 4 shells faster than normal by using the revolver technique. They unloaded the first wave of 500 tanks and hooked up the 250 artillery guns.
