The tank commander, watching the burning wreckage his Benemoth III was, solemnly pulled a remote control, he pressed the button on it, blowing himself, the tank and veryone near them (both CA and TWSP'ian soldiers alike) into a giant fireball.
The Soviet defenders started a retreat, while some of the engineers finished laying explosive charges on the hangar and runaways.

(I thought I fired stingers and took 70 casualties)
A handful of men were killed when the massive tank exploded. The destruction of the tank, however, brought a cheer amongst the men, as they began to now pour forth into the air base. Two battles fought, two battles won by Griffincrest. With this forward base, more men and supplies would be able to be brought in and coordinated.
Casualties thus far: 4000+ mercenaries, 40 Humvees, 32 Leopard II's, 25 Mercury AFV's, 9 Behemoth II HBT's.

The last engineer turned and pressed the detonator, he cried as he saw the hangars and runaways go up in flames, he promised herself she'd come back to rebuild this place.
Casualties for this battle: around 700 men, 25 Leopard IIs, 1 Benemoth III, 4 Chainsaws.

OOC: What are your total casualties?
IC: A few men died, but the majority were just thrown to the ground as they were just entering the base when it exploded. Admiral Ironclaw was upset that the airfield was lost, but he still thought the base could be salvaged. A company of about 800 engineers were sent to the base, riding in 80 Mercury AFV's.

Well, shit, someone could have made that a little more clear.

Revolutionary Guard Tosan's were the first to strike the city. The light tanks packed quite a punch with their 90mm gun as they opened up upon the Soviet/Shazbotdom lines. The Zalfiqar tanks were not to far behind, and they too, joined in the chaotic song of cannonfire.
Behind the tanks, the Cobras and BTR-60's unloaded their soldiers and sped ahead to assist the rest of their brothers in combat. Thousands of men, ready to die for the Ayatollah and for Allah, charged in behind the APC's, brandishing their AK-47's and RPG-7's with pride. Each and every man in the Achamaran army was ready and willing to die on these infidel fields if it would spread the word of God.
Even further back, the remaining 36 Raad 2 155mm self propelled artillery continued to heavily bombard the enemy defenders. Hundreds of Frag, HE, and Thermobaric shells fell upon the unlucky infidel soldiers tasked with the defense of this city.
About a half dozen Ababil drones flew high over the enemy lines. Hundreds of pictures were taken and three of the drones flew back to Achmaran lines with their information. The other three began a steep dive on Shazbotdom lines. They each carried a 45kg high explosive warhead, that would cause significant damage on impact with an enemy formation.

"Roger that Alfa-India-One, you may land at the following coordinates, they are being sent now, over."
"Affirmative, ATC, now vectored for landing at the air force base just outside the city of Red City," Said the pilot of the lead C-180D as he set his course to land at the airbase. The other aircraft followed in line as the first landed on its numerous landing gear and taxied into a position to begin offloading its cargo of M4A2 Spartan combat vehicles. The heavier C-5G Galaxy II transports unloaded the even more deadly M55 Black Tiger main battle tanks as their rubber-padded treads moved them along the tarmac.
Staff Sergeant Dunstan quickly organized his platoon into formation along with the rest of the company as the officers began to disembark from their passenger aircraft. The ARJMF Woodland Digital Pattern seemed to fit well with the environment as the soldiers stood in formation as the company commander, a young captain, inspected the soldiers and approached the veteran Dunstan, "Sergeant, how are my boys in first platoon?"
"Just as ready as all the others, sir," Replied the staff sergeant, "We're ready to kick some corporate ass!"
The captain smiled, "That's good, because this brigade is the first to join the action once the rest of our units are unloaded and prepared for action."
Lieutenant-Colonel Rocke walked down the mobile staircase as he stepped off the aircraft, his empty G65 rifle was slung over his back along with his rucksack, and he assembled with the crew of his command tank as he spoke with his executive officer, Major Hans Rottman, "How long before our '55s are ready to go?"
"The maintainance officers say it'll take them at least three hours per tank to prepare the reactive armour on the tanks, fuel and arm them with ammunition," Said the major, "But we don't get the go ahead until the entire brigade is ready to move, they don't want to send just the tanks ahead without infantry and air support."
"Well, I know I'd feel better having the infantry with us, those Spartans can really make our jobs easier," Said Rocke as he set his ruck down, "I'm guessing that they're going to cross attach units like always."
Rottman nodded, "Yes Sir, the infantry battalions are eyeing our tank companies and will want to trade for a few infantry companies."
"That's fine, we never get to fight as a solid battalion anyway," Said the colonel, "Just make sure that each tank and crew is ready to go."
"Yes, Sir, I will."

OOC: Over 220 men burned, 4 Tosans, and a BTR-60 were lost.
Ok.
IC:
Artillery and AT units concentrated their on enemy tanks while the effective "Chainsaws" lay down, well, not suppresing, more like, anihhilating fire on the enemy infantry.
An Airstrike was ordered, and 5 A-10s were sent to Napalm the shit outta enemy artillery.
Casualties: 25 men caught outside their bunkers.
The infantry was behind the armour, and so only a few were killed, The A-10s were going to be downed before delivering that napalm, as dozens of stingers and hundreds of RPG-7's were aimed and fired skyward at the enemy planes.
The Tosans were ordered specifically to find and destroy any chainsaw emplaacements in the area, while the rest of the armoured units continued pummeling enemy forces.
The Raad fire was now being joined by over 200 82mm mortars. The resulting explosions shook the earth and was sure to toss many a Soviet soldier to his death. The Raad's began firing bunker busting shells, seeing as many of the enemy took shelter in bunkers.

Many soldiers were killed due to the Achmarans accuarate artillery fire, unluckly, half of the A-10s got shot down.
Suddenly, a rumbling sound filled the ears of everyone, out the city came a wave of 700 Leopard IIs, closely followed by APCs and IFVs, all of them rushed guns-blazing into the Achmaran lines, the APCs and IFVs literally "spitting" hundreds of men into battle.
The artillery fired changed its target as not to hit their own, this time, they targeted enemy artillery.

Red City, TWSP
Lieutenant-Colonel Rocke stood in the turret of his M55 tank, watching the terrain pass by as his torso stuck out of the hatch. His tank battalion moved along with the brigade's two other infantry battalions as they headed North to take up a defensive position between the TWSP capital and the coming CA forces that had taken the city of Gustavich. His command platoon consisted of a full platoon of tanks along with his own vehicle and one for his executive officer. He was currently commanding his battalion's Alfa Company, Bravo Company and two infantry companies that had been cross attached from 1-1st Infantry. He had been tasked with guarding an important highway which led into the capital, he looked over his list of callsigns for support units, including the field artillery battalion with its 155mm Sabre self-propelled howitzers. He ordered his task force to take up a position along a small ridge that ran perpendicular to the highway in line formation, allowing the entire force to focus North, where the enemy would be coming from. He pressed the button on his Commlink and spoke into his headset's microphone, "This is Ripper Six for Foxtrot Charlie, Ripper elements in position and awating furthur orders, over."
"Ripper Six, hold position until furthur notice, hold that ridgeline, colonel," Came the reply, "We'll have more for you in six-zero mikes, over."
"Roger that, Foxtrot Charlie, Ripper holding position, out."
----------
Staff Sergeant Dunstan sat in the rear compartment of the M4A2 Spartan as it moved over the terrain and moved in formation with the other vehicles of its company. They were to act as forward reconnaissance elements for the rest of the brigade before turning back to take up a position on the defence line North of Red City.
----------
As the brigade's maneuver units took up their positions, the military intelligence personnel prepared their RQ-9C Predator II drones for flights North to locate the enemy forces and monitor their movements South.

This is boring as all hell thought Lieutenant Adam Bannington as he piloted his A-42G Corsair II across the sky of the World Soviet Party. Light attack was supposed to be fun, charging gloriously in to drop napalm and strafe the enemy to the cheers of friend troops. Not this...this...this glorified bomb trucking!
It would however be a good deal safer and more effective than napalm and strafing, for which Adam tolerated it. Safer is always good, seeing as how dying is never all that fun, but it does mean less free booze at the base from grateful grunts.
Each of the four Corsair IIs in the flight was carrying a load of eight AGM-154D JSOW missiles and four -F missiles. Fitted with a small turbojet, their launch range improved dramatically over unpowered versions. Over a hundred and twenty miles in fact, compared with forty, though these were to be launched from only eighty miles behind friendly lines. The only difference between the two missiles was their armament. The -D carried 145 BLU-97/B submunitions for use against personnel and light armored vehicles; the -F 6 BLU-108/B submunitions for anti-tank work.
"Bombs away," called Lieutenant Bannington as he and the other three members of his flight began releasing their missiles, safe above friendly territory. Within a few minutes the bombs would release their deadly munitions above their targets; concentrations of Achmaran troops and equipment, both those on the front line and held as reserves.

Along with the usual 900kg laser-guided munitions, there was also a few of the stand-off weapons armed with shaped-charge submunitions, for use in attacking the top armour of enemy vehicles and raining down on enemy infantry. The rest of his squadron was being fitted with the weapons as they prepared to leave for their first sortie over TWSP.

Six hundred feet below the ocean waves, sealane to World Soviet Party
"Confirmed, target is a Corporate Alliance-flagged cargo ship heading towards World Soviet Party," announced the sonar operator. "Estimate three hundred thousand tons displacement."
Wars are hungry things. They feast on men and machines with a voracious appetite. Logistics, logistics are the key to war. It is only through logistics that one can feed that appetite and hope to achieve victory.
Thus, logistics are a prime target of most campaigns. If you disrupt the enemy's ability to feed that appetite, then he will not be able to launch attacks on you, for lack of fuel and ammunition, nor will he be able to conduct the fluid defense that modernized warfare requires.
For this end, several Rosdivan submarines had begun prowling the shipping lanes to World Soviet Party, and a Rosdivan carrier battlegroup was on its way. They would strangle the shipping of men and equipment by sea to World Soviet Party. True, it could also be done by air, but it took many transport planes to lift what one small freighter could transport, and their ability to do so once the expeditionary force began an aerial offensive would be...doubtful, to put it mildly.
The submarine didn't even bother to stick around the helpless freighter to monitor its destruction, merely noting the detonation of the torpedo on its passive sonar as it left the area in search of another target.
Behind it, the freighter, its keel snapped, sank. Slowly, but sink it would.
The Beiraqi General, Mahmoud Al-Beiraqi, knew well that he was encircled. He quickly ordered a full out attack upon St. John. Hundreds of missiles flew from every battery (bear in mind a battery contains 4 launchers, ammunition, and radar vehicles) battering Soviet defenses of the city. All 200 HT-106 tanks sped for the city, which they were now just outside of. 7,000 men of the Beiraqi National Army packed as many men as possible into the 150 BMP-1's. The rest would hoof it into the city.
Meanwhile, all 300 M94's began laying a devastating salvo upon the Soviet men that encircled them. Literally tens of thousands of rockets rained down on enemy forces. The remaining 3000 National Army forces, along with all 2000 men of the Republican Guard stayed behind to prevent the Soviet forces from moving closer to the artillery.

The forward operating base was a hive of activity. Not even paved over, the runway was simply a long dirt field. That was no problem for the aircraft on it however, as they had been designed to be capable of operation from it. Sixteen aircraft began taxiing from their camoflauged stations and started taking up positions on the runway for take off. The first four carried a loadout of eight HARM missiles, to take out any opposing SAM or AAA sites. The other twelve carried twenty-four Brimstone (http://www.army-technology.com/projects/brimstone/index.html#brimstone1) missiles each, using multiple ejector racks.
Taking off from their base, the A-42G Corsair II's began their flight towards the attacking Beiraqi Army, with top cover provided by eight F-128 Lancers launched from another base. Their primary target was the HT-106s that provided the Beiraqi army with their armored support. Deprived of that, the attacking force would be so much meat to be slaughtered. Of course, that didn't rule out the targeting of the BMP-1s if the opportunity presented itself.
On other airfields, other planes stirred, preparing for their own attack runs later on. This squadron, the Undead Aviators, would provide the first strike however.

The F-1C Banshee fighters were quickly refitted for air combat patrols as the F-2A Abbadon fighters lifted off equipped with air-to-air missiles and extra fuel tanks to catch up with the advancing B-12A bombers. Captain Gibbons grumbled as he watched the nimble F-2A aircraft leave for the warzone North and as ground crews changed out the munitions on his own Banshee fighter.

Assembly Point, North of Red City, TWSP
The bombers kept to their formations as they waited the arrival of the F-2A escorts, the smaller single-engine fighters would prove to be quite effective against any enemy fighters which were foolish enough to attempt an engagement.

Phase Line 120, 10km North of Red City, TWSP
Lieutenant-Colonel Rocke grinned widely as the order came down along the command-link for the entire division to move forward, all of its elements in its entirety, North towards the enemy positions at Gustavich. The M55 tank lurched forward as it sped forward with its escorting M4A2 Spartan combat vehicles maintaining speed alongside them in a loose line formation. Rocke found it more difficult to move in the chemical protective suit, but should the enemy deploy unconventional weapons against the Aequatian division, he would be grateful for its properties. The word "Blitz" was written on his helmet, underlined with a crude drawing of a lightening bolt, with a black felt pen much in the same fashion as the turret armour painted on his tank. He looked over to Alfa Company's First Sergeant's tank with the taunt "Suck on this!" written along the length of the 125mm PK1 main gun and smirked as he peered over at his XO's vehicle, which had his nickname "Hustler" written on the side of the turret along with the names of the crew members. Oh yeah, it's on now.

A Griffincrest co-ordinator stood atop the burning hull of the Soviet Behemoth III. His cybernetic eye glowed a blood red as he scanned the surrounding tree line for any sign of enemy soldiers, primarily that pesky sniper who had caused so many problems for the mercenaries. Upon seeing no hostile forces with his infra-red scan, he looked over to a nearby lieutenant.
"Lieutenant, what do you propose?" he asked calmly. "Well sir, the Beiraqi army is currently laying seige to St. John du Caen to the north of our position, and Achmaran and Toopoxican forces are hitting Gustavich hard. There is also a city due east of here that noone has opted to strike as of yet. Your call co-ordinator" the lieutenant replied.
"First, I want you and your men to gather up any working chainsaws that were leftover. Then we will divide the army. There are roughly 600,000 men here with us, and another 100,000 in defensive positions on the beach. I feel that our force is large enough that we can break off 100,000 men to go north and assist Beiraqi forces. The remaining 500,000 troops will make for Gustavich. Get on the phone with the Guardini di Anima forces, and see what they think about making a charge east towards that city. The Soviet army is horribly overstretched as it is. If they lose the army at St. John, I believe it will crush them, as those men will have no route of escape, and it would prove a major defeat. We could use it as propaganda, if anything."
"Excellent. Our forces will start immediatly" the Lieutenant said, before turning to his squad a barking out orders at them.
Within minutes, the GSF force had made its split, and hopefully, all of the nation of TWSP would be firmly under CA control by weeks end.

With the F-2A fighters providing protection against enemy fighters, the B-12A Vanquisher bombers armed with the stand-off weapons released the winged munitions and dropped in altitude to initiate their attack runs on the GC forces positions. The one hundred and twenty guided weapons flew low as well, their low-observability fuselages helpig to obscure their images on enemy radar, each weapon contained 130 cluster submunitions, each with directional shaped-charge warheads, meant to penetrate the top armour of vehicles and eliminate any enemy infantry they struck, armoured or not. Within minutes, the stand-off weapons approached their target zones, they released their submunitions and allowed them to rain down within the airbase's perimeter, the 15,600 submunitions poured from the sky downwards towards the Griffincrest Corporation troops and vehicles.
The bombers then prepared their other munitions for launch as they reached their own release points closer to the Gustavich airbase.

50,000 feet above World Soviet Party
Captain Michael Andrews loved his plane. An F-128 Lancer, it was a delight to handle. A near excessive amount of thrust and short wings let it scream through the air, with a superb rate of climb. True, no one would ever make the mistake of calling it maneuverable, but it didn't need to be. Why care about whether or not it h ad a tighter turning radius when you could simply climb 30,000 feet above and behind the opponent before he's even realized you left the gun sight?
Today, he and his fellow aviators in the 1st Brigade of the 7th Fighter Division (Frontal Aviation), 43 planes accounting for those grounded due to various reasons, were flushing Griffincrest aircraft from the sky. That accomplished, two brigades of Corsair IIs, flying low to avoid radar, would then strike the Griffencrest army as it travelled to St. John du Caen in an attempt to reinforce the Beiraqi army.
A beep from the console alerted him to the fact that a flight of four Gnats had entered the zone of no escape for the AIM-120D missiles mounted on his plane. A few toggles on the control stick, and four of the eight AMRAAMS dropped away and, quite literally, rocketed in towards the Gnats. He doubted that they would even know that they had been targeted. The LPI radar on his fighter was unlikely to trip a radar warning receiver in the Gnats, and the Gnats own radars were being jammed, blinding them from the knowledge of where the fighters were.
Not that that would do them any good mused Michael. No matter what they did, the Gnats were dead, and could not evade the missiles. The superior speed and altitude of the Lancers meant that they were barely within range of the missiles on the Gnats as it were, it would have been no problem to evade them. And so the fighters swept on, unconcerned by the wreckage of four enemy fighters falling on the countryside.
Griffincrest mercenary army detachment moving to St. John du Caen
Adam Smith clutched his rifle as he sat in the shotgun seat of the jeep, bouncing down the road to St. John du Caen. He had yet to fire his rifle, being a rear echelon soldier, but that was fine by him. He was a mercenary working for Griffincrest, and the less fighting the better. Making money by fighting for others was all well and good, but all the money in the world was useless if you died before you could spend it.
Grumbling, he cursed the slow fuel tanker some vehicles ahead of him. Stupid tanker's holding us up. Every army and navy in the world travelled at the pace of its slowest member, and cargo trucks and fuel tankers were not known as the fastest vehicles in the world.
A flash in the sky above him caught his attention, just a blink of an eye before the cursed tanker turned into a giant fireball. A crashing boom and a pillar of smoke announced the destruction of a deuce and a half behind him, blocking off a portion of the convoy, specifically the portion of the convoy that he was in.
"AIR RAID!" he screamed, his shout punctuated by cracks and screams as more vehicles were struck by missiles. The jeep accelerated, desperately seeking a way past the imprompto roadblock. An armored personnel carrier ahead of them exploded, throwing armor plating across t he road and forcing the jeep to swerve. Evading the debris, an opening appeared by which they might escape the trap.
Then time seemed to slow down. Plumes of dirt and asphalt erupted from the road, marching in a straight line towards the jeep. At that moment, Adam realized that he would die, here on this road, far from home. A 30mm shell s lammed into the ground next to them, a few feet away from the left rear tire, shredding the jeep. A steel splinter, wrenched from the casing of the shell, drove itself into the back of the driver's head, killing him instantly. Now out of control, the jeep skidded across the road until, aided by the lack of wheels on the left side, it came to a halt.
I'm alive thought Adam, not at all complaining. His next thought was a string of curses as he found out the hard way that his left arm was broken. Looking around, he saw that he was the only one to survive in the jeep; everyone else was dead. Kicking open the door, he walked out onto the road, cradling his broken arm as he looked out upon what had been the convoy. Dark, billowing clouds rose from a number of vehicles, now burning, and shouts and screams from wounded soldiers filled the air. Lower pitched rumblings, muted by terrain and distance, announced the deaths of vehicles elsewhere as Rosdivan bombs and missiles struck their targets.
Out of action, incapable of fighting for a pair of months until his arm healed, having not even fired upon the enemy once, Adam sat down upon the edge of the road and waited for an ambulance to come along and pick him up.

Bright explosion lit up the Beiraqi night as building after building collapsed from the Shazbotdom attack. When it was done, a large portion of the administrative district of Beiraq was destroyed. Deaths were relativly low due to the time, but the cost of rebuilding, plus information in the buildings was another story. When the dust settled, a portion of the Republican Guard headquarters was on fire, the ministry of agriculture was completely destroyed, as was the building of the Beiraqi intelligence agency and a major bridge crossing the Lioness River. A police station was also rubble, and a part of Achmed Chalabi's palace was now rubble.

Phase Line 175, 175km North of Red City, TWSP
The line of M55 tanks and M4A2 infantry vehicles came to a stop as they waited for the slower support elements to arrive. Lieutenant-Colonel Rocke took the brief opportunity to open the hatch and climbed out onto the turret before hopping down onto the soft earth. His gas mask was nestled away in a side pouch as he fumbled through the jacket of his protective suit for the package of cigarettes held hostage in one of the pockets. He took a glance towards the rear area after lighting the cigarette and taking a long drag, producing a long string of ash at the end, looking for the fuel and ammunition trucks that were supposed to be in tow to the armoured fist. Goddamned REMFs, He thought angerly as he climbed back up onto the hull of the tank, standing just to the side of the engine compartment doors and feeling the heat produced in the quasiturbine's exhaust. He took out his field glasses and looked North, Soon enough, just a little longer to go.

The Gnats, lacking the proper counter measures, went down in flames. The however managed to fire off both of the AIM-120 AMRAAM's each fighter carried. As the missiles streaked back at their enemy, the survivors hit the ejectors and flew from the planes.
Over the sea, the F-4's returned to their ships as the Clandonians launched their missiles, which were picked off by any one of the many countermeasures each ship contained. Just to make sure no Clandonian planes survived, 24 more SAM's were launched from the Kraken.

OOC: I'd like to get some definate numbers of losses, just so I know what I'm still up against, as the radar systems on my fighters could track them.
IC:
Major Williamson watched as a number of the enemy contacts dropped of the radar and as they retaliated with their own weapons, he quickly keyed the microphone, "All elements, enemy weapons incoming, look like alfa-india-mike one-twenties, take evasve and charlie-mike maneuvers!"
The twenty fighters all sped forward and turned on their active countermeasures, the older model AMRAAM missiles using semi-active radar tracking could be easily fooled off target with simple jamming and chaff systems. The fighters rushed towards the weapons before banking hard to either sides before having their aircraft blow out clouds of shredded aluminium that caused many of the missiles to veer off and detonate in the middle of the clouds. Although many were easily evaded, a few did manage to see through the chaff and their own seekers burn through the ECM suites of the F-2A fighters. Four of the aircraft exploded as the weapons struck them, two pilots were killed outright as the others ejected and drifted towards the ground below, thanks to their parachutes.
Williamson brought his flight back into formation as the rest of the aircraft assembled on course towards the enemy Gnats, "All elements, prepare our swatters!" He said as each of the sixteen surviving aircraft fired off four of their own AIM-120C AMRAAMs, fitted with both a semi-active radar and an active LIDAR seekers, the latter system proving invaluable when used against the MiG-29 Fulcrums of Red Tide months before in previous campaigns. In all, sixty four missiles streaked across the sky towards the Corporate fighters, "All elements, prepare alfa-india-mike one-thirty-twos and guns for knife fight, Tally ho!" He said as the fighters dropped off their external fuel tanks and lit their afterburners as they closed on the enemy aircraft.

The flight group was watching their radars as the Griffencrest aircraft approached them. The flight leader freed up the saftey on his weapons and began to make his weapons systems float. He made it look like is if he was making his weapons looks for any aircraft that was threatening the rest of the flight group. He then sent an encrypted communication to the rest of the flight group ordering them to let their weapons locking systems float as well.
The flight leader then slightly adjusted his pitch so that the flight group started to rise up into the clouds. Hopefully if they kicked in the anti-radar system, it would mask their signals so that the Griffencrest fighters would lose track of them. This would give the Thunderbolts the advantage when they flipped around above the clouds and come up behind the Griffencrest fighters. They then continued on their current course through towards the nation to the south of The World Soviet Party.

Hurtian Navy Provisional Warfleet Number 1 (HNPWF1)
3,000 nautical miles from TWSP.
Lt. Major Paul Vandergrift stood at the prow of the HTS Kursk, as he remembered his last mission, a failed attemp to get relief aid to Alidor, in spite of the quarantine. Of the 56 men sent, only 14 made it to the beach (2 unitentionally) and only 6 managed to get home alive to the best of his knowledge. From that experiance, he was demoted from Admiral to Lt. Major, but due to lack of leadership from the recent bout of purges, he still commanded Task Force 3, an elite task force within an elite branch of the Hurtian armed forces, and often acting in conjunction with FBIA raids to capture international crimminals, and sometimes even surpassed their own exploits and escapades.
Though the Kursk and Eerie were not as greatly armed as the Dunkirk, they still carried the biggest guns in the Hurtian Navy, carrying both 12" railguns and 36" VGS, they only seemed to lack in direct fire armarment, which was what the Terror class specialised in, while the Hiragi was built to better withstand the battering of planes, missiles, torpedos and shells like that of a battleship.
The submarines were well ahead of the main fleet by perhaps as much as 1,000 miles, and so he didn't really bother to keep track of them anymore, knowing better than to question the reasoning of a submariner, for such a question would only leave both sides confused.
Having finished remembering his mistakes, he set out to do better this time, ever since Leader Milo, Minister Pinkerton, and Minister Major stormed to power, things have changed considerably, the navy was starting to get adaquate funding and attention, the military was expanded tenfold, and a better service rifle was adopted, though debates still raged within the GASN on what caliber to field them as, the Hurtians decided to experiment with a 6 x 51 mm high pressutre test (HPT) cartridge, due to their excellent accuracy, high velocity, fragmation, pentration, and kinetic energy retention.
He then walking off the prow and into the bridge, where he decided to give The Corprate Alliance a call:
Greetings, Coroprate Alliance members!
This is Lt. Paul Vandergrift, commanding officer of the Hurtian Navy Provisional Warfleet Number One. Would you be so kind as to inform me about current events at the front and your exact locations so that I may better be of servic in the war raging in the Soviet Party's lands?

OOC: Dude, can I just finish off Beiraq and Achmara? its not like they are very useful to you, plus, their lack of posting (and when they do, not reading previous posts) is really hurting my strategy.
The Zalqifar and Tosan tanks swiveled their turrets to target the incoming Leopards, and layed down massive fire. Tanks were hit and destroyed left and right. This would be a tank fight for the history books.
Infantry men scrambled around for better positions, and the sound of RPG fire screamed through the night. The bodies of men lay in small piles on the floor, byt still, hundreds continued the fight. Behind them, the Cobra's continued to lay down punishing fire, making the Soviets pay dearly for this counter attack.
The Raad's and mortars continued raining shells down on the city, pounding away at a commercial section of the city.

Infantry quickly deployed its AT measures, while the majority of it rallied and opened a devastating rain of lead on the Achmaran troops.
Though suffering heavey casualties (75 tanks and counting) the Leopards made their way into the enemy tank's lines, thus making it difficult for them to aim.
From the city, came the roar of helicopter engines, 48 Super Cobras came, music blasting, and opened fire on the enemy choppers, tanks and infantry, specially targeting Stinger Teams.
Several Chainsaws were deployed on site and opened fire on the enemy troops and light vehicles, some of the being aimed at the skies to down enemy choppers.

IC: The Shazbotdom planes took 5 of the GSF fighters out before anyone realized anything. The remianing planes smashed their countermeasures, and made a loop to either get behind or face the enemies. Once they did, each launched two of their own AIM-120 AMRAAM's, and opened up with their ADEN cannons.
At Gustavich, Griffincrest forces tore into the Soviet flank with their own Leopards, along with 500 Behemoth II's and hundreds of Mercury's. The low flying AC-130 was being watched as it came in, and as it passed over GSF forces on its way to Achmaran lines, over 200 Stinger missiles were launched skyward. Just to add to the chaos already probably being felt within the city, all 300 Mongoose 165mm guns opened in a massive barrage, focusing primarily on the administrative district of the city.

Aha! a response!
"Admiral Ironclaw, we already have more than enough forces in New Ausha, this lot of 21 million are being sent here. Also, my job rides on my success in The World Soviet Party Theater, if I fail to get resaults it'll be my head. So where do you need them most? Otherwise I'll just land anywhere I don't see massive overcrowding of ships precluding my entry into Soviet Party lands."
EDIT:

Some of the chainsaws turned to greet the new forces with a hail of bullets, 200 Leopard IIs diverted their fire and targeted the Benemoth IIs, in the city, 4 Benemoth IIIs got ready to go out and pound the Mercs, all Infantry AT fire was diverted to the Benemoth IIs as well, while small arms fire and napalm strikes were intensified on the Achmarans to keep them down.
There are SHBTs (Behomoth IIIs) in the city you say?
Heh, one of my aguemens in NS draftroom hinged on whether or not they would ever be used in cities (or other 'confined' areas), they decided nobody in their right mind would do so, therefore my arguement on their effectiveness was dismissed. After pressing the issue further (claiming that yes they did use it in cities and posting examples, many examples) I was given a warning that I was spamming.

Once again, SCUD's came out of their hiding places. Roughly 100 launchers, equipped with SCUD-E missiles found their target. This time it would not be Nuovosibirsk or Red City, but a military target. General Al-Beiraqi realized much of the GASN power was in their air forces, so he would, in turn tae this away. Already, two Soviet airbases were captured. He had hoped to further restrict enemy air ability by destroying a third. The airbase outside of Alexgrad would be the target. All 100 launchers fired in a row, one after another. They quickly reloaded, and fired again, before once again retreating back to their hiding places.

"How nice of them to provide us with a large target out in the open like that," chuckled Major Robert Mazelkov over the radio as his squadron, the Black Diamonds, approached a large concentration of Maldorian soldiers. Slowing to subsonic speeds to improve bomb accuracy, the sixteen A-42G Corsair II's spread out, eager to trap the largest possible number of Maldorians in the zone of death.
A bright line ahead of them showed the path of a HARM anti-radiation missile as it streaked down upon one of the few enemy radars operating. One more kill for the wild weasel flight of four Corsairs above them.
With less than a hundred support vehicles according to photo-recon, there was not much in the way of AAA or SAM support available to protect the Maldorians. Personally, Major Mazelkov wondered how they were able to support any of their troops and tanks. Perhaps they use horses...
Appearing over the enemy formations, he hit the bomb release toggle. Two dozen five hundred pound bombs, packed with three hundred pounds of high explosive each and fragmented to produce maximum personnel casualties, began their descent. Others dropped cluster bumbs, a few others napalm. Two planes carried two dozen Brimstone missiles each, airborne Hellfires, that they fired off at the tanks.
Today would be a bloody day for the Maldorians. Especially as the Black Diamonds expected to pull off another three sorties today.

Okay, now the wrap up of what I've missed
- TWSP, how can it be a good idea to move 70,000 men out of your country, how big is your army. You will be fighting on 4 fronts now.
- Aequatio, lets just say the remaining 3 fighters loosed their remaining AMRAAM's and were destroyed.
- Clandonia, that post was a godmod which I corrected, as your plane would need to pass over Griffincrest territory to hit Beiraqi troops. When it did I shot it down.
IC: The lead Griffincrest Behemoths began giving punishing fire with their dual 220mm cannons. The three Behemoth III's would stand little chance against the 50 Behemoth II's. Behind them, the Leopards and Mercury's assited by blasting enemy positions to bits with their cannons and machine guns.
Mercenaries began locking onto enemy tanks as the smashed into Achmaran lines, and opened up with a deadly volley of Javelins.

IC:
"Beiraqi forces it is, see you soon. Bye"
After hanging up and securing radio silence with the Corprate Alliance frequencies, Lt. Major Vandergrigft faced his men.
"Alright, we'll be doing a double take landing on a potentially very hostile beech, as both freindly and enemy forces shall consider us enemies shortly after or even during landing, I want full air support, and get the fire control to figure the maximum number of shells we can get into the air before the first one hits Beiraqi forces. Move!"
It didn't take long for 32 FMX-6Bs, 30 Mi-6s, 56 UL-2000s, 5 MH-47s, and the two LCACs to be loaded and sent out with full combat loads. Presumably to support Griffencrest and Beiraqi troops.

Now maintain radio silence before the Soviets home in on your command post. We wouldn't want you getting killed over an arguement of orders. But if you really need to complain, do so to my commanding officer, Major General Major Major, via cable or telegram."
He hung up one last time, and directed the fleet to resume course at all costs, and to ready the last 10 FMX-6Bs for anti-shipping missions, and to deploy all remaining UL-2000 Minions to make very sure they are not followed.
The Tango class submrines would also form stationary pickets and observation posts.
They would also start laying mines behind them, if it hit anything, they'd know they were followed, and would claim a mine went overboard in the rough northern seas.

5,000 feet over St. John du Caen and dropping
"Fire...Fire...Fire" droned the female voice to call First Lieutenant Mike Mitchell's attention to the many warning lights blinking furiously to demand his attention. Unfortunately, there were far too many lights demanding his attention for him to give them all what they deserved.
Oh Shit Sally... he thought, referring to the common nickname the pilots applied to the female voice. At the moment, his attention was being split three ways: The cockpit view, to make sure he wasn't about to plow into anything; the altimeter, which was descending much too rapidly for his comfort; and the "Your Engine Is On Fire" light, which wasn't all that good of a thing.
Off to his left he saw his wingmate, Jake Stevid. His right wing was ragged, with a couple large holes punched in it, but it looked like he'd make it home alright, though he wouldn't be flying back out to fight again. Mike on the other hand...Why'd that damn AA gun have to be right there? came the bitter thought. On the other hand, Jake's load had been of napalm, and it had made sure that that gun crew would never bother anyone ever again.
"Jake, this is Mike. She's no good, engine's gone and I've got more lights blinking than all of Las Vegas. I'm punching out," he called over the radio.
"Roger that. You've got two Wild Weasels to provide CAS until the 'dyne picks you up. Good luck."
With that, he retracted his legs and pulled on the ejection handle. The cockpit canopy shattered as a small explosive charge destroyed it, and a rocket threw the chair, and accompanying pilot, out of the plane. A jerk on his body both bruised his chest and brought him back to consciousness as his parachute deployed. Below him, he saw his beloved strike aircraft as it slammed into the ground, erupting in a fireball and scattering debris everywhere.
I do hope that I was behind Soviet lines when I bailed he thought as he drifted down towards the ground, awaiting the rotodyne that would pick him up. A .45 caliber pistol provided all the armament he had available for self-defense until that happened. Of course, his radio could call in an airstrike by the two Wild Weasels as well.

- TWSP, how can it be a good idea to move 70,000 men out of your country, how big is your army. You will be fighting on 4 fronts now.
OOC. Werent there 25 Benemoth IIs?

IC: Unfortunatly for the Rosdivanian pilot, Soviet lines were not until well past Gustavich. He was smack down in Corporate territory. Reports of the downed plane came in to corporate command and an AV-18 was dispatched to give an overview, and a group of 10 men in a Mercury and accompanying Humvee were sent to secure the site.
As the vicious tank fight was taking place, the cobras swooped down. They were a most unwelcome sight. In response, the Behemoths all launched off their stinger pods, which were accompanied by dozens of infantry launched stingers.
At the airbase, 10 AV-18's were dispatched to provide cover for the attacking GSF and Achmaran forces.

Around 200 Velkyan made AV-18 Luna VTOL gunships were entering the country, to be based at the Gustavich airbase. Just their presence was intimidating. When they opened fire..forget about it.

H,H,M,T,T,M,H,H

As the First Humvees came down the road, one soldier ignited the claymore underneath the vehicles.

The F-4 Phantom has a service ceiling (highest altitude it can still climb at 100 feet per minute) of 56,100 feet according to Boeing. (http://www.boeing.com/history/mdc/phantomII.htm) That doesn't mean it can do so with weapons however. The F-14 Tomcat, for instance, has to be at full afterburner to do so with a combat load.

Incorrect!
His Leafthansi imitation HT-101-105s have Sherman turrets (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=11618301&postcount=33)
The HT-106 is, sadly, the real deal, I sold them myself. (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=11540783&postcount=34) (Wanderjar got upset cause I did)
He even bought more later. (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=11556605&postcount=51)
Otherwise, those tanks would have had to been illegally produced (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=11626031&postcount=40)
(link includes sale of additional 500 examples to No taxes)
Luckily, they didn't get the best quality, and fire control is about on par with the early T-54/55 tanks.
They have HT-106E1 heavy tanks.
I use HT-106C2 Heavy tanks.
The letter designates the gun, number designates version.
I should clarify this issue on my refferance thread.
Also, please use the full model identification number, as ther is a big differance between the early version 120 mm gunned HT-106A1 and the advanced technologies 155 mm HT-106E3.
http://www.achtungpanzer.bos.ru/images/amx50.jpg (http://www.achtungpanzer.bos.ru/images/amx50.jpg)
EDIT:
Double checked:
I sold Beiraq 500 HT-106D1 tanks armed with 152 mm autoloaders, and are not able to fire the same ammunition as the HT-106E1.
Again, I restate that I currently use the HT-106C2 model, which again fires a different ammunition.
So there are 3 different types of HT-106 HBTs in this war.
With the Beiraqi models being perhaps the worst, as a 152 mm tank gun is far from optimal.
Further hampered by poor fire control.
The firing of such shells on early models also makes the autoloader prone to failure (a problem to be fixed in version 3, version 2 is simply of better quality and better fire control, failure in the C2 model is less of a problem since the charge of the 125 mm shell need not be as strong, and is considerably lighter)

Lieutenant-Colonel Rocke braced himself against the hatch of the M55 tank as it drove through a farmer's fence and plowed through the field, he looked around and counted his company's Black Tiger tanks and the attached infantry company's M4A2 Spartans as they kicked up the dark brown earth as they moved through the field. He lowered himself into his seat as he heard that a message had been sent to his command link monitor, he pressed the button as he read the text:
Authorization Code - 11-6-ABZ
...1 ID elements to halt...
...FA, RA & HA will provide fire mission...
...AR TFs to advance N to Gustavich and engage GC forces...

He passed the message onto his task force as he ordered his own driver to stop as the two dozen vehicles under his command came to a stop along the length of a highway. The colonel switched to his company channel which spoke to each of the vehicle commanders who would pass it onto their subordinates, "We've been ordered forward to engage the enemy forces around Gustavich, our arty guns and rockets are going to pound them first before we go in, I want all '55s to load sabots and the Spartans to ready themselves for dismounted action with those Javelins. IC:
Sergeant John Greenwood looked over his terminal in the commander's seat of the Fire Arrow MLRS vehicle as the driver brought the vehicle to a halt. Behind the vehicle was a train of tracked and wheeled support vehicles that would be working feverishly to reload the launchers as they fired on the enemy positions North. The sergeant punched in the target corordinates as he called for the all clear on the external speaker before inserting his key and pressing the fire button, releasing the sixteen 250mm rockets one after another as they flew in their arch towards the targets, like the other twenty four launchers in the battalion. In all, 384 rockets flew towards the enemy before exploding in midair, releasing 500 submunitions each for a total of 192,000 shaped-charge submunitions onto the enemy positions as the gunners began to reload the launchers, all wearing their heavy chemical suits and protective masks handy in sidepacks.
Elsewhere, the Sabre self-propelled howitzers moved into their own positions and deployed with their own support personnel and ammunition trains and calibrated their 155mm guns to fire their high-capacity high-explosive rounds against the enemy positions along with the rockets of the Fire Arrow vehicles. Each battery of eight guns fired at once in salvos as the nine batteries of the divisional artillery opened up, each vehicle firing about a dozen rounds in quick sucession before moving to a more sustained rate of fire. In all, 864 high-capacity high-explosive 155mm rounds flew through the air towards the Griffincrest mercenaries. Along with these, the twenty four Broadsword 203mm self-propelled guns also joined in the carnage, each gun firing six rounds each of DPICM shells before preparing to move to a sustained rate of fire like their smaller 155mm brothers. The 144 rounds burst open in midair over the enemy positions and each released 250 submunitions like the 250mm rockets for a total of 36,000 additional shaped-charge submunitions raining down on the mercenaries.
----------
The divisional command area was filled with activity as the intelligence RQ-9C drones silently and carefully monitored the movements of the Griffincrest force as it turned South to meet the coming armoured forces. Major-General Anthony Ray frowned as he looked at the numbers, he turned to his executive officer and chief of staff, "Pull our armoured task forces back and have the engineers prepare three lines of improvised fighting positions, we can't take them on at face value until the rest of the divisions arrive. I want artillery and air support to engage that force, blast them as hard as possible before they reach those lines," He said as the officers moved to enact the general's orders.
----------
Lieutenant-Colonel Rocke was surprised to see another message posted on his screen as he prepared the order to attack, it read:
Authorization Code - 11-6-AIW
...Assault N cancelled...
...AR TFs to now fall back to DEFPOS Alfa...
...Massive GC counterassault S from Gustavich, 500k-strong...
...Immediate...
The colonel's eyes grew large as he read the last line, My god, 500,000 troops, they really want to hurt us, He thought as he issued the orders and the M55 tanks and M4A2 Spartans turned around and moved back to the designated defensive positions still being constructed by the engineer vehicles, their dozer blades moving the earth into small ditches for the tanks to fire in hull down positions.
----------
Red City Airbase, Red City, TWSP
Klaxions rang out over the base as pilots and their weapons officers were driven out to their waiting BA-74 Arrow interdiction bombers in Ferret HMMWVs. With the assault South being made against the 1st Infantry Division's units, the call for all support elements came out from division command. Each of the attack bombers were loaded with eight CBU-120 cluster munitions and a full load of ammunition for its 35mm cannon. Within ten minutes, the first wave of sixty aircraft were in the air and flying North towards the 1st Infantry Division's positions.

OOC: It did. But the AV-18's haven't gotten to you yet, they just took off.
IC: Explosions rocked the mercenary lines. Vehicles exploded left and right. Brave men were tossed into the air. Hundreds of battered and broken bodies littered the ground. The only small sign of shelter was that some of the sub-munitions hit the trees, but this was rare, and hundreds of men and vehicles lay piled up throughout the forest.
Admiral Ironclaw immediatly ordered a massive counter-barrage on the Aequatian forces. All of the armies artillery was turned to target enemy lines. All 3,000 of the BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers opened fire, literally raining nearly a million rockets down on the enemy within a half hour. HE and FRAG warheads were the primary warheads, but every 30 rockets was a thermobaric warhead, causing even more chaos as they smashed down on the Aequatian force.
This was not the end of the barrage. The 500 G7 105mm howitzers and 300 Mongoose 165mm artillery guns also turned to face the Aequatians. The Mongooses were all ordered to counter-fire the enemy artillery. The G7's were told to continually barrage the enemy forces. Then came the surprise. About 100 shells fired from the G7's contained either corromis or cynagen chloride, both capable of getting through the filtration systems of gas masks and NBC suits. This would be a horrible day for both forces.
The AV-18's were now nearing the rear elements of the mercenary army, and began readying their armament for combat.

The mercenary counterbattery fire, coming in nearly thirty minutes after the Aequatian barrage was completed, was far too late to catch the swift artillery units as they had already embarked their support personnel and launcher units and moved to a new position. However, the enemy counterbarrage did do damage to the supply units that were passing through the area, destroying a number of supply trucks and killing many support personnel. Now short of their normally full supply of ammunition and fuel, the Fire Arrow MLRS batteries fell back as they moved to meet up with the second line of supply units. The Broadsword 203mm guns moved along with the Fire Arrow launchers, leaving the Sabre 155mm guns to fire a short barrage of 432 high-capacity high-explosive rounds under armour towards the forward elements of the enemy force before moving again to meet up with the second supply train.
----------
The warning came through the radio channels as the counterbattery radar vehicles detected the enemy rounds coming in on top of the tanks and armoured carriers. Lieutenant-Colonel Rocke lowered himself back into the turret and slammed the hatch shut just as the first rounds began to explode outside. He took his seat in his chair as he returned to his monitors as another warning rang out through the channel, "Gas, gas, gas!"
Fucking hell, those bastards did it! The colonel thought as the impacting shells shook the tank as it took up its first defensive position as the armoured engineering vehicles drove off to prepare the next two lines behind them. However, the chemical agents became apparent as soldiers manning the lighter Ferret HMMWVs armed with BGM-210 ATGM launchers clutched at their throats and fell from vehicles, even with their masks on! Rocke watched in horror as he realized the agents being used before the text "CK" popped up on his message screen. One of the Spartan vehices exploded as one of the 105mm rounds slammed into its roof and detonated, killing all aboard. With the introduction of the chemical agents, the mounted infantry would definately remain under armour now as the vehicles prepared for the coming onslaught of the mercenary forces.
----------
Major-General Ray looked angerly at the report from the Chemical Battalion commander as it printed off one of the many machines within the command bunker, "Fucking CK agents? Those bastards!" He shouted as he kicked over a chair, "What's the next unit being prepared for leaving the Red City airbase?" He asked his chief of staff.
The colonel looked over a piece of paper attached to a clipboard, "Sir, the next full unit that can be deployed from the airbase is the 2nd Infantry Division."
"How long before they're ready?" The general asked impatiently.
"Twenty minutes, sir, then all of their combat elements are ready to go."
"Tell them they have fifteen minutes to be rolling, or there will be hell to pay," Ray said as he took a seat, "Have their engineers prepare defensive positions, I want the 2nd to be ready to hold the line so our boys can just fall into place beside them when we pull back to the city."
The executive officer spoke up, "Sir, don't you mean, if we pull back to the city?"
"With 500,000 men attacking our 18,000, we'll be falling back to that city unless we want to be the first Aequatian officers to lose an entire division," Said the general as he lit up a cigarette and kept his eyes locked on the monitors.
----------
The first wave of sixty BA-74 Arrow aircraft flew in low as they swept their wings back. The weapon officers on each aircraft ran diagnostic tests as they prepared each of the weapons for release once they reached the enemy positions.
On the tarmac of the airbase, the second wave of sixty BA-74 Arrow bombers armed with cluster munitions lifted off the runway just as the B-12A bombers and F-2A Abbadon fighters returned from their strike missions. The third group of sixty BA-74 aircraft had their weapon loadouts changed at the last minute as the aircrews sat in the cockpits and watched the ground crews work. As the third wave of bombers waited on the tarmac, sixty EF-2B Baal ECM fighters taxied into take-off positions as the last of the second wave lifted off.
----------
The colonel in command of the air defence regiment watched the monitors as the twelve AV-18 aircraft appeared on their screens. He knew that there were a number of his Cyclone Mark II air defence vehicles with the front line units, he would wait to designate targets to them and ordered them to track the targets as his own MIM-154G Super Comet missiles fired twenty four of the weapons against the enemy fighters. Those that survived would be engaged by the Cyclones.

1,000 Behemoth III Super Heavy Battle Tank's were in the lead as they opened fired upon enemy troops. They main priorities were the tanks and artillery.
298,000 infantry then swarmed in behind the Behemoth III's and used the armor as shields.
The 400 tanks and 100 support were kept on the flanks attempting to outmaneveur the enemy.
Anti-Guns were placed around the Behemoth's to prevent aerial assault.

Upon seeing the Benemoth IIIs, the CO ordered a full retreat, most civilians had already left the city, and those that hadnt hopped into any vehicles they could find.
The main force slowly disengaged and retreated into the woods, trying to cause as much casulaties as possible on the enemy army.
Behind them, 350 Tanks, 30 cannons, 6 Helicopters and 5000 men lay on the ground, burning, blown off, dead.

OOC: Ausha, according to Wikipedia the F-4 Phantom II, which is what I am using, can reach a service ceiling of 60,000 feet. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F-4#Specifications_.28F-4E.29
Not only that, but the AMRAAM's and Sidewinders would find you if shot angled upwards toward you.
And is St. John ours?
IC: Admiral Ironclaw smirked as he watched the gas envelope the enemy lines on a television set aboard his boat. He was watching the entire battle as it was broadcast to him by a GSF satelite in orbit overhead. He lifted up a microphone next to him, and announced into it "Commander, have the men charge"
"Sir, I think we should continue with the art-" the commander started
"I said charge!!" the Admiral yelled.
And that was just what happened. The full mercenary force gunned it on their vehicles, and the rest of the men charged in on foot at the enemy positions. The first four AV-18's moved ahead and let loose a volley of Ballista anti-armour missiles at the Aeqatian forces then zipped back.
A few of the G7's, about 50, continued to harass the enemy forces as the manuevered. The front line of the mercenary line was a mess. Blood and body parts littered the forest. As they counted up the dead, nearly 2,000 men were dead after all of the barrages. The mercenaries were out for blood.
At the Gustavich Airbase, 50 F-4's, along with 75 Folland Gnats blasted off, their mission was to clear the path for 150 Hong-5 bombers, which were tasked with leveling Red City.

OOC: I engage your attack birds with SAMs and all that happens is they fire off their missiles and escape?
IC:
Lieutenant-Colonel Rocke watched the image on his monitor from the CITV as the mercenaries rushed forward and switched to his command channel, "All tank gunners, engage enemy vehicles with main guns until they close to 1500 metres, then we'll be falling back to DEFPOS Bravo. Spartan gunners, arm your sabot rounds and aim for the vehicles, keep your troops mounted as you'll be falling back with us. Ripper Six out!"
The same orders went out to all of the other task forces as the tanks fired their sabot rounds at the charging vehicles before aiming for a different target and firing a HEAT round. The M4A2 Spartan vehicles opened fire with their automatic cannons as their armour peircing rounds flew at the enemy vehicles along with their Spike anti-tank missiles from their launch packs. As the tanks finished firing two more rounds and the Spartans finished off the last missiles in their twinpacks, they pulled out of their dugout positions and started for their second defensive line. The stabilizers built into the M55 tank guns and the M4A2 autocannons allowed for the vehicles to fire on the move as they raced for their secondary lines. The 105mm artillery shells continued to rain down on the armoured forces as they fell back, a number of soft-skinned vehicles abandoned due to their crews being killed by the gas attack exploded as the shells landed near them. The Cyclone air defence vehicles tracked the enemy fighters as they came in low and fired off their Starstreak missiles along with their 25mm vulcan cannon, which spit fire from its muzzle as tracers moved across the sky.
As the second defensive line formed while the vehicles began firing again at the enemy vehicles, the tanks using their HEAT rounds and the Spartans switching betwen their APDS rounds for vehicles and HE-Frag airburst rounds for the infantry, an attack helicopter squadron made its presence known as the AH-72 Viper gunships saturated the attacking troops and vehicles with 70mm rockets that airburst with white phosphorus warheads, raining the burning materials down on the advancing infantry while they raked the enemy vehicles with their 35mm chain guns, they only darted out from behind cover such as trees and small hills to fire once or twice before ducking quickly back behind their cover, to avoid enemy fire.
From another firing position, the 155mm Sabre self-propelled guns opened fire with their own DPICM rounds, each vehicle firing a quick twelve rounds before moving on to a new position. The 864 rounds rained down and opened, releasing 172,800 shaped-charge submunitions onto the attacking forces.

As soon as the radars picked up the enemy aircraft, 50 F-18s and 30 F-22s lifted off to fight them, they waited until they were in range, and fired their AMRAAMs at the incoming bombers & escorts (thats like 6 AMRAAMs per plane, so, there are about 480 missiles going at your planes)

OOC: Fuck I knew I forgot something
IC: The Behemoth II's pounded away as they slowly rolled forward. The hundreds of tanks each fired dual 220mm cannons into the enemy lines, sure to cause immense damage. As the tanks rolled on, more and more were exploding. It seemed explosions were everywhere.
The infantry were all at this point firing at the enemy with G36E's and Javelin missiles. Hundreds fell as the Vipers descended on them, but they had a surprise for them. Hundreds of Stinger missiles filled the sky as the Vipers made their pass.
Humvees and Mercury's tore ahead of the rest of the forces, harassing the men and vehicles in the rear with 30mm AP and .50 cal rounds, along with a number of TOW missiles.
The AV-18's that moved to the front were downed after firing, their crews not even having time to bail out. The remaining eight stayed well behind the rest of the army until they had word to move.
The air assault was a failure. The Hong's never took off, as the fighters failed to clear a path. However, as the fighters went down, they threw up massive ordnance, each plane firing off 2 AMRAAM's, and the F-4's putting up an additional 2 IRIS-T missiles.
