The GASN was seemingly gone. There restructructuring was just a cover for a slow collapse, and Claudius knew that. With Wanderjar temporarily gone, so was one of his major fears. He now decided it would be a good time to strike the GASN, and hit one of the newer, yet influential members. That member was The World Soviet Party. The tiny nation had never seen a war before. Well, now they would. He quickly called up the forces of Beiraq and Achmara, and ordered them to mobilize on Soviet territory. By nightfall, the first elements of the corporate fleet should be entering Soviet waters. By morning, Claudius had hoped for victory. This would be the largest invasion force Griffincrest has ever assembled. All of it was nessecary however, as this was not just the regular idiot arab oil nation, but this was a potential world power.

-"Holy shit!"- those were the first words spoken in this war, an Intelligence Officer grabbed the piece of paper and read it, his eyes widened -"Send this to the President and Commander In Chief, top priority, National Security!"-
Presidential Palace, Red City, TWSP 0600 Hours
-"What is it? Why did you wake me up so early General?"- Alexander yawned, he was tired and needed the sleep, being President wasnt an easy job.
-"Mr. President, its my duty to tell you that as of now, this country is in a state of war"- General Caldwell took his job seriously, he was happy his boys would get some experience, however, he knew all could be brought down by politicians.
-"WHAT?!"-
-"We have recieved reports that the Griffincrest Co. in mobilizing an army against us, we are heaviliy outnumbered both in man, machine and firepower"-
Alexander sat down, confused, this was new for him, he hated war and was known as an activist.
-"Sir, I suggest we mobilize all troops and set the Alarm Level on the highest possible"-
-"Yes, go do that... I'll talk to the Senate, just go"- Alex waited till the general left before going over to his bar and opening a can of Coca Cola, then he went over to his Communicator -"Mrs. Stevens"- he told his secretary -"Cancel all my meetings for today, tomorrow, and maybe for a month, then assemble the senate"-

President Achmed Chalabi was quickly informed of the Griffincrest move, and immediatly called up his General of the Armed Forces, Mohammad Al-Beiraqi.
"General, Griffincrest has asked for our assistance in a military assault on a nation known as The World Soviet Party. As an associate state to them, we are required to send forces. I want a full expeditionary army ready to move in the hour." President Chalabi said to his general
"Yes Sir!" the general replied with a salute, before leaving the room. The Beiraqi army was prepared in the hour. It consisted of the following:
100,000 Beiraqi National Army infantry
2,000 Beiraqi Republican Guard soldiers
300 M94 Plamen-S 128mm self-propelled multi-launch rocket artillery system

Alexander sat before the Senate, he couldnt hear his own thoughts with all the noise.
Suddenly, as if by Divine Inspiration, Alex got up, grabbed a microphone and started talking.
"I say to the House as I said to ministers who have joined this government, I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears, and sweat. We have before us an ordeal of the most grievous kind. We have before us many, many months of struggle and suffering.
You ask, what is our policy? I say it is to wage war by land, sea, and air. War with all our might and with all the strength the people has given us, and to wage war against a monstrous tyranny never surpassed in the dark and lamentable catalogue of human crime. That is our policy.
You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word. It is victory. Victory at all costs — Victory in spite of all terrors — Victory, however long and hard the road may be, for without victory there is no survival!
We shall defend our country, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender."
There was silence, then, suddenly, as if it had beeen planned, everyone in the room got up.The sounds of thousands of people cheering, clapping and whistling filled his ears as he sat down, the war had started and he was ready.

From the Interim Government of the Supreme Commonwealth of Rosdivan
We note with distress the recent state of war between the Griffencrest Corporation and the World Soviet Party. Though we are intensely opposed to Communism, and are currently putting down a Communist insurrection, we offer the use of an expeditionary corps from the Commonwealth Army Frontal Aviation to the World Soviet Party for their defense against this aggression. Consisting of two divisions of light-attack A-42G Corsair IIs and a division of F-128C Lancers. This will provide a total of 144 fighters and 288 attack aircraft, along with support personnel numbering 43,128 men.

IC: The Griffincrest fleet was setting sail for Soviet waters. Far ahead of them, a mere 300km from Soviet beaches, sat 4 GSF stealth ships. I have no doubt that they will do the same for us when our time comes. Now, generals, prepare an expeditionary force."

General Caldwell placed several Artillery Pieces along the coastline, the plan was to attack the landing craft with them while the Air Force and Attack Helicopters pounded them from above. The Marine Company was put on standby for a quick guerrilla attack on any force that came down.

However, enemy missiles caused some casualties in the Artillery Batteries, namely 2 cannons and 5 men.

Major General Michael Annspitter glanced around the airbase as he taxied after his landing. One of nine Soviet airbases selected for the deployment of the Seventh Corps (Frontal Aviation), it failed to resemble the picture of chaos that one would have expected to see. That would come later. For now, only two squadrons, 32 planes in total, of A-42G Corsair II strike aircraft were here from the Supreme Commonwealth. Transports carrying munitions and ground crew would be arriving over the next day, along with the fighters. The Corsair could self-deploy with external fuel tanks, but the fighters needed tanker support and that took time to set up. Unfortunately, that did mean that they would be without armament other than their 30mm cannon until the transports arrived with bombs and missiles.
Coming to a halt inside of a hardened aircraft shelter, Michael shut down his engine, and then clambered down the ladder that had brought up to the aircraft.

Commander Ivan Ruslan and Commander Garcia Townes were the two foreign commanders selected to be deployed. The rest would be from within the Confederacy itself.
At sea, the carriers picked up the Soviet planes, an responded by deploying their own. Hundreds of Gnats blanketed the sky, while dozens of F-4's took suppoting positions behind and under them. The battleships too, were nearing coastal range, and railguns were being loaded and aimed at the many artillery sites along the shore.
On the tranport ships, the men were getting excited, hearing the planes take off, the guns being turned, and the sound of explosions coming from the coast.

As soon as the radars picked up BC's planes, the order was issued, 20 F-22s, 30 F-18s and 20 F-12 (Bought to Illior) were sent to meet the attacking force.
The plan was to take down as many enemies as they could with their missiles and then try and engage in Dogfights with the enemy fighters to render their missiles useless (you know, in such a tight place, chances are you'll end hitting one of your guys, specially because they are a lot!).
Artillery was to fire at enemy ships as soon as they got in range.

SCENE: Flight group of 50 AC-01's, 45 AC-02's, and 100 Modified 777's
The flight group was ordered out of Shazbotdom Marine Air Base over 2 hours ago. With their estimations, they would reach TWSP in roughly 14 hours at high speed. The fighters and bombers were in the standard triangle formation while the 777's were in a square formation behind the bombers. International waters looked the same to the men of the Shazbotdom Maine Corps Air Division, just waves for as far as the eye can see. An AC-01 Pelican used several Shazbotdom Satelites to radio ahead to The World Soviet Party in an effort to try and gain an understand if where TWSP wanted them to land and if they had enough room for a flight group this big at any of their air bases. It was taking a few minutes to connect, which was a main issue with using satelites for low level radio communication.
AL: "This is Alpha Leader of Alpha Squad, Flight Group Mega One to TWSP Communicaitons Grid. We request permission to land and request to know know if you have a landing strip big enough to land one hundred 777's, and 95 miscilanious fighter and bomber aircraft. Over?"

Annspitter gave a dismissive wave with his hand. "As far as our intel has shown, Griffincrest isn't deploying anything that's been built in the past two decades, and most of the stuff is older than that. We've got a squadron of sixteen planes flying combat air patrol over each base. OOC: Sorry, my girlfriend and I crashed at my buddies house last night after the bar, he didn't want me driving. Jerk....
And you have seriously underestimated the Gnats.
IC: The F-4's radioed into the Gnats of the approaching enemy fighters, and the Gnats set up for battle. Each of the nimble little planes were carrying two AMRAAM's each. Should they all open up, the full salvo would be enought to destroy an air armade, but would also be incredibly expensive. Instead, only the lead thirty fighters opened up, from nearly 75km away. 60 missiles were fired, and would soon lock onto their targets.
Under the Gnats, the F-4's were preparing to launch their Sidewinders once the enemy planes got closer.
The World Soviet Party
06-09-2006, 01:22
At the same time, the F-22 prepared their AIM-120 AMRAAM, and readied them to fire as soon as possible, they kept the AIM-9 Sidewinder ready to fire too, which would happen when the F-4s were closer (Each plane carries 6 AIM-120s and 2 Sidewinders).
The F-18s prepared their AIM-120s too, but kept their IRIS-Ts as a secret weapon, to take down as much enemies as they could.
The F-12s got behind all the other planes, the plan was for the F-22s and F-18s to fire all their stuff and then move to the sides while the F-12s fired theirs, then they all would engage the F-4s and Gnats in Dogfights.

Zombie Bunny Squadron, Third Brigade, 17th Attack Division (Frontal Aviation); Off Soviet Shore
"Uh, Captain? That RORSAT's giving me an awful lot of blips, are you sure that thing's accurate?" asked Lieutenant Adam Bannington as he checked his radar scope with a worried tone. His own radar was off to avoid revealing his presence, but was being fed by a downlink from a radar ocean recon satellite in orbit. The scope was glowing brightly from the image of all the radar tracks, representing the transports and other naval vessels deployed by the Griffincrest Corporation.
"It's accurate Banz. Griffin apparently likes small transports more than assault ships for whatever reason. I think there's a bit too many to to bother with a detailed lock on though, probably crash the computer," chuckled Captain Michael Gabriel. Though it wouldn't have crashed the computers, it would have been a very tedious process, seeing as how there were over seventeen hundred transports just for the soldiers, not to mention those needed for their equipment and other supplies.
"Alright, Zombie Bunnies," this being the name of the squadron, "launch Harpoons in bravo-oscar-lima mode and then we'll come in under five thousand feet. That'll keep us below escort radars at these ranges, and allow us to strafe them with thirty mike-mike." Now, the disadvantage of so many transports truly raised its head. With so many ships, and so few escorts, it had been a trivial matter for the A-42G Corsair II's, their already long range supplemented with drop tanks, to skirt around the radars of the fleet and find a gap in the coverage. Now, the hired mercenaries would pay for that lack of forethought on behalf of their employer. Sixty-four AGM-84F missiles dropped from the Zombie Bunnies and headed towards their defenseless targets. Forty miles off their starboard wing, the Flaming Chipmunks launched a similar attack, though they were headed back to base instead of continuing in. All the missiles were provided with was a bearing and a safety, not to attack anything less than hundred miles distant from their launch points. After that point, they'd lock on to targets along that bearing, one of the thousands of transports. A single hit should suffice to turn the transport into scattered burning fragments.
Somewhat more distantly, the Undead Aviators were after bigger prey. The squadron had split into two groups of eight, each of which was launching their missiles at a specific target: One of the Nimitz-class carriers providing air support for the fleet. Flying only a few tens of feet above the surface, the missiles would be invisible to radar until they appeared above the horizon, less than a minute till impact. Since they weren't using active measures to track their targets, but rather using a passive IR seeker with anti-jamming measures, it was quite possible that the first knowledge the Griffincrest carriers would have of the attack underway would be the explosion of the first of thirty-two missiles against the hull.

Most of it was at about 30,000 feet for fuel conservation, but having 800+ planes is meaningless. From the earlier posts it appears that most if not all are going into combat over Soviet territory, and as I mentioned, we were using drop tanks to increase what's already a long range (combat radius is ~1600 miles with those two drop tanks) and using that to go around. ELINT gear to pick up radars beyond effective detection radius and avoid that, in combination with radar satellites to go around you. Not to mention that I was, as I stated, firing my missiles from more than a hundred miles out. Put simply, I went around you until I found a gap in radar coverage and then went in close enough to launch missiles. SCENE: FLIGHT GROUP 1A (All 777's and 10 Pelicans)
The flight group began to pass into TWSP designated air space. They set their transponders and began to use active radar to scan the area for any aircraft associated with Griffencrest or their allies. All of the aircraft checked to see if their flares were operational and then used encoded text signals to send messages back and forth and then started to decend. Although the 777's split up, pretending to be passanger liners (as per the pain on their hulls) and head towards their designated international airports. This was to ensure that they would look like normal passanger liner air traffic to the CA personell.
SCENE: FLIGHT GROUP 1B (13 Pelicans and 15 Garrisons)
The aircraft dropped to below radar, skimming house tops and flying straight down roadways as they made their way towards the designated landing strip within TWSP. They were making their way to coordinates ******** as designated by TWSP tower. They had no idea what was going on in the area of the tower, and they didn't really want to figure it out in a harsh way. They passed over what seemed to be an interstate highway and turned sharply. It was one of the checkpoints that was assigned by the Shazbotdom Military Satelite Network.

That leaves you another 600km to maneuver, assuming that you can have 800 km each way. 800+ planes will take up a truly enormous portion of the sky, further cutting down manuverabilty. Not only this, bu I also stated that the F-4's were under the Gnats, flying lower than them so they can provide support. If they were unable to actually see the "Zombie Bunnies" they would have picked them up on radar.

I fully expect the strafing run to be noticed, going low is simply what they're doing. Doesn't mean it'll be successful. Also, that 1600 miles is a combat radius, as in they can fly out 1600 miles, engage in combat for a while, and then fly back 1600 miles. 200km out means I've got enough fuel for 2300km of maneuver, more than enough to skirt around like that. Keep in mind also that your air units are being engaged by Soviet, that and fuel/distance means you won't have all that many units available to attack them.

Several of the AC-01's had just arrived at the airstrips they were assigned to when they noticed the large 777's comming from the distance. The Boeing 777's were quickly decending as they approached the runways. Flaps were checked and deployed, causing the large craft to slow down as the landing gear had begun to slowly lower for the landing. The Pelicans quickly pulled off the side of the runway and into makeshift hangers. The pilots then stood just outside of the hangers and watched as the first wave of 777's land on the airstrips. They then pulled towards large hangers and pulled into them. The Marines then started to exit the aircraft and unload the equipment that would be used for this operation. Dozens of Warthogs, ATV's and Tanks were brought out and lined up along the walls of the hangers. A total of 25 Divisions were sent, or are en route to be sent, to this conflict (1,875,000 Marines).

IC: Every transport ship had aboard it a CIWS turret. The battleships all had CIWS, along with many other anti-missile systems. As the missiles were fired at the transports, the CIWS snapped to life. Literally hundreds of CIWS turrets fired at each missile. A virtual wall of lead was put up, cutting the missiles out of the sky.
The carriers were positioned towards the middle of everything, around the Kraken. This gave them cover from the anti-missile systems aboard the Chieftains, the Lords, the Kraken, and the thousands of tranports, along with their own CIWS. The explosions rattled some of the sailors and men aboard transports, but did little else.
The lead transports were now nearing shore. Men on board prepared to disembark, and the equipment was being readied. This coastal storm would be the first of many. The GASN was going to be crushed.

Blackhelm, how exactly do all those transports have CIWS turrets when those vessels are armed with no more than an automatic grenade launcher and a Bushmaster cannon (http://www.navy.mil/navydata/fact_display.asp?cid=4200&tid=1400&ct=4)? If you're going to use RL equipment, then use the actual RL equipment. Might as well say you're using a Supermarine Spitfire loaded up with Phoenix missiles for crying out loud. I'm also wondering how you get that "Virtual hail of lead" when, as mentioned by writeup, the missiles would be targeting the initial transports that they spotted.
There's also the tiny little question of how CLOSE-IN Weapons Systems are all targeting these missiles unless your entire fleet has rammed into each other. This is the 35mm Millenium Gun CIWS (http://navweaps.com/Weapons/WNGER_35mm-1000_Millennium.htm). Do you notice the maximum range listed on it for sea-skimming missiles (such as the Harpoon)? It's 1,640 yards. Do you honestly expect ANYONE to believe that you have all those ships just happening to be on a direct path to the missiles or colliding with your own damn ships?
I'm going to ignore that post until you actually post something reasonable.

As for the CIWS on them, I took off the Bushmaster and put in a Phalanx CIWS.
Phalanx has even less range (less than 300 yards according to some sources), and while the missiles were initially fired from 30,000 feet and over a hundred miles away, they dropped down to a few tens of feet afterwards, AS I EXPLICITLY SAID IN THE POST. And while there are ships capable of locking on and destroying the missiles, they'd have to be right up next to them to be doing so with CIWS or have the missiles be above their radar horizon (which is about 20 miles at the altitude the missiles are flying at) for them to be using missiles.
Furthermore, you cannot simply toss off a Bushmaster and put in a Phalanx. Phalanx is about ten times the weight (which is damn important) and penetrates the deck, which the Bushmaster does not. These are important things, it is PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE to use a Phalanx in place of a Bushmaster without extensively modifying the ship. Furthermore, you never once said that you had so modified the vessels. If you say "I'm using XYZ ship," then you're using XYZ ship without any modifications.

Even if the transports can't take the missiles out, the battleships all have a ton of shit that DMG put on them that would be able to.
And it just occured to me, that that link is not the right craft. The HSV-X1 is an experimental vessel. The HSV-2 is different. The HSV-X1 is built with a helicopter flight deck capable of holding 2 choppers, and as of yet, because it is still in development, no weapons. I cut the flight deck in half, and added the CIWS system at the end of it.

Wooptedo. And if you write up their use of that effectively and realistically, I'll accept that. But here's the problem they're facing: The missiles are not going to be detectable until some point after they cross the radar horizon of the battleship. You've got too many transports for your battleships to be effectively screening them all that well and it's going to have to rely on missiles within that small zone of radar detection.

However it was quickly decided that an invasion would be costly so a diffrent plan was used. We must destroy them in every way possible and anyone that stands in our way. At once the Sochatopian first bomb group w3as dispached. It included 100 B2 bombers 200 F22raptors 60 KC110 refuleing aircraft and 20 E6 hawlkeye aircraft.
They left base and aproched the world soviet party at 9 oclock PM they were1000 miles away. They refuled and began to make their combat approch just 800 miles outside the enemy borders broke tn to groups of 4 bombers and 8 fighters. Being in smaller groups it would be near impossible to shoot them all down. They were to go 4 bombers to a huge urban center.
It was night and the crews of the plane knew what their payload was. They were to drop it not on military instulations but rather Civilians. Hospitals schools were their first targets followed by sporting events airports and places with alot of people in them. Even though the planes were in small groups of 4 their weapons were desined to devistate the nation.

Anti Missile Satelites were suddenly kicked into gear. Project Star Wars was started several years back to design a system to destroy missiles using combined gases to create laser beams that would super heat the missiles and blow them up. There were ten total in the area of TWSP and almost three dozen more within firing range. The order was given at Shazbotdom Satelite Command to use the SpySats to track any new scud missiles as they came within firing range of the Star Wars satelites.
The 46 satelites then prepared to lock onto their designated targets, then powered up fully. It would take roughly 30 seconds for the missiles to heat up enough to explode, and the satelites were programed to move with the missile track to ensure that the laser was continually hitting the missiles. The power was diminished due to it going through the atmosphere which is the reason for the enlongated period of exposure to the missiles, but they would be ready for the next batch of missiles that were to come.

They then zommed into the area where the missile tracks started from and located the launchers on the super zoom camera's built into the Spy Satelites. The General then went over and stared at the images that were being sent down from the satelites. he was standing there for roughly 10 minutes before he walked over to the computers that hold the targeting systems and put his hand on the shoulder of one of the workers.
Greivan: "Alright. I want you to start computing targeting solutions for attacks on any target that you deem as a threat to the soverignty of TWSP."
Worker: "Yes, Sir."
The worker then began typing quickly into the computer and locked in targeting computations for hundreds of military and governmental targets throughout the Nation of Beiraq. He was certain to target any and all governmental targets that he could find.
The response was quick. A video message showed President Achmed Chalabi standing on a balcony, speaking to his people.
"People of Beiraq! The Empire of Shazbotdom wasnt us to apologize for attacks made during war! This is unaccceptable. This is war. War is not nice. General Grevien watched the message on the screen from the president of Beiraq. He was disappointed. They blatantly targeted civilians and murdered them. He walked over to the red phone and was about to pick it up when the red phone rang. He slowly put his hand on it and picked it up and listened as the Supreme Emperor began to speak to him.
George: "General Grevien. I am giving you an official order. You are to fire at will. I repeat again, Fire At Will!"
The line then went dead and the General hung up the phone and turned to the men in the room. He walked to the middle of the front of the room and picked up a handset and spoke iinto it.
Grevien: "Alright men. Our orders are to fire. Prepare the missiles and launch the Garrison Aircraft. This is not a drill. Fire, Fire Fire!"
SCENE: Flight Group of Garrison Aircraft
The missile bays of the Garrisons opened up as they were in the air. The missile holding bars then dropped down out of the missile bays, revealing the BGM-5 Hatchet Supersonic Cruise Missiles (WEB (http://shazbotdom.bashwebdesign.com/missile.htm)). There were a total of 800 missiles on a total of 80 Garrison Aircraft. The aircraft then began to exit Shazbotdom Territorial Airspace at their top velocity. Roughly 400 kilometers outside of Shazbotdom Airspace, the Garrison Aircraft fired their missiles. They started to fly towards Beiraqian airspace at High Supersonic speeds (Mach 6.5).

25 launchers, not included in the attack previously, were uncovered. Next to each was 3 more Scud-F missiles, other than the one already on the launcher. The Scud-F could go even farther than the Scud-E, and Red City was within its range. In rapid succession, all 25 launchers were fired. In only 20 minutes, 100 Scud-F missiles were fired. When they cracked open in Red City, a horrible discovery would be made. The missiles were not firing conventional warheads, but instead contained mustard gas and Tabun gas. It was Shazbotdoms fault. They should have left things alone.

Hundreds of thousands of mercenaries were now storming the shore, G36E's blazing. Men were falling left and right. A Leopard opened up, blasting a hole in one of the HSV-X1's. A mercenary reacted quickly, pounding the communist tank with his Javelin.
Helicopters and attack planes had been initially doing damage. This was rather evident by the amount of Achmaran corpses mercenaries had to step over or on as they hit the beach. To the Griffincrest troops, however, it was nothing. Dozens of Stinger missiles screamed into the sky. Sharpshooters also joined in the attack on elicopters, firing with deadly accuracy if one of the birds got to close.
The tanks now too were opening up. The massive Behemoth II's fired their dual cannons, causing the ground to shake beneath the men around them. Hundreds of Mercury AFV's sped around the beaches, dispensing smoke grenades and firing all three of their machine guns. The battlefield was now a scene of utter chaos. Bodies were stacked several high. Smoke, screams, sand, blood, and bullets filled the air. The men hoped that they would soon be able to push off this beach, and then push into the country.

The artillery strike just caused more chaos on the ground. Mercenaries and Revolutionary Guard bodies were tossed around like rag dolls. By this time, however, all 700 Behemoth II's were on shore. This would mean bad things for the Soviet defenders. All 700 of these massive beasts of war began pounding away at the enemy tanks and infantry positions. The ground was shaking as if an earthquake was coming upon the beach. Mercenaries were unable to hear orders from their commanders due to the boom of the guns. The enemy would have to break soon.

Several of the commanders on the ground expressed that they wanted to pursue the enemy as they retreated, rather than give them time to regroup, but the higher ups wanted to stay on the beach and set up and effective base camp. Thousands of artillery pieces began unloading off of more transports. About 150 BM-21's were already onshore. They were ordered to scout out the area, and did so by starting to climb out of the range of the Anti-Aircraft Artillary that the CA fleet was sure to fire at them. They would head to the highest altitude that they could before losing sight of the fleet.

The Pelicans saw the Missiles approaching them and began to climb rapidly. The pilots closed the emergency doors behind the cockpit of their aircraft and opened up the back hatch. Each aircraft had one drone built into the top of the craft above the back cargo area, they detarched from the top cieling of the inside of the Pelican and dropped out the back, letting out the same IDC as the Pelican they came from.
Several Pelicans were hit though from the missiles and began to fall apart. They then adjusted themselves so that they leveled out and began to decline rapidly, increasing their speed as they went along. This would hopefully make it harder for any missiles to reach them. This didn't help though as some of the pelicans fell apart completely, the Pilots ejected out and used their special parachutes to go as far as 40 miles away from the battle, landing behind allied lines.
The rest of the Pelicans that were unharmed began to break through the atmosphere. They also started to close the back hatch of their Pelicans so that they didn't lose all the oxygen inside of the aircraft.
LOSSES: 15 Pelicans destroyed. 5 Damaged. 8 Pilots accounted for. 3 MIA. 4 Dead.

IC: The full GSF war machine was now beggining to roll into the woods. The massive Behemoth II tanks were knocking down trees as simply as one would break a twig, clearing massive pathways for the rest of the army. Infantry raked ahead of the vehicles, sweepig for mines and other traps.
Aboard the Kraken, Admiral Ironclaw got a bad feeling about this forest. He had a feeling that this might be another Battle of the Bulge. He only hoped his luck would be as good as the Americans, and they too would repel the enemy.
The sniper placed his crosshair on a tank commander's head, he waited for the tank to stop, then he held his breath and pulled the trigger.
At the same time, several AT-Groups came out of holes in the ground (NVA & VC style) while several machine guns opened fire.
The tanks would be here shortly, and with their help and the air-force's, this battle might be won.

SCENE: Flight group of Thunderbolts
The thunderbolts were making their final approach to the aircraft carrier. It was nearing the straights just outside the territorial waters of England.
SCENE: USS Shazbot
The carrier groups orders were to set anchor in International Waters between France and England and thats what they did. They stopped right in the international waters between England and France and set anchor. The flight deck crew was keeping their eyes to the sky. They saw something off in the distance and began to ready the aircraft elevators to move the incomming aircraft to the underside of the ship.
The flight deck crew was then ordered by the Captain to head to their bunks while the aircraft was making their final decent. The command staff then came out to operate the elevators and other such equipment until the new aircraft was secure under the hull of the aircraft carrier. The aircraft began their final decent onto the aircraft carrier. The flight leader was going to be the last one to land, as this was standard procedure in the Shazbotdom Military.
(Several Minutes Later)
The flight leader watched as the last Thundebrolt landed on the aircraft carrier and was moved onto one of the many aircraft elevators, he then began his final approach to the carrier. He spoke back and forth with the tower on a secure channel.
Flight Leader: "Tower, make sure my approach is good."
Tower: "Understood. You better hurry too, we spotted aircraft from Griffencrest approaching the battlegroup. Were flying the flags of a non-existant nation so that Griffencrest thinks that were just out on a standard tour of duty."
Flight Leader: "Understood. Making my run."
The last Thunderbolt then started his decent, flying over the glimmering water towards the flight deck. He started to slow down his Thunderbolt as he looked up and saw the flashing lights of the Griffencrest aircraft. It's a good thing that his lights were off. He adjusted his pitch and slowed his aircraft down and landed right on top of one of the aircraft elevators so that his craft could be hussled under the deck as soon as possible.
The elvator began to move down. It's also good that the aircraft hanger inside the ship had the lights off so no one could see the silouette of his Thunderbolt. It was moved inside and hidden from sight.
GLOBAL IC:
The tower then called out to the incomming aircraft from Griffencrest.
Tower: "This is the HMS Pinniford to Incomming Aircraft. Please deviate from your current course. We are on a standard TOD and are heading towards the territorial waters of Russia for refueling and shore leave. Repeat, Please deviate from your current course towards our carrier group."

The bridge crew was watching the radar as the Griffencrest aircraft was still flying towards the ship. There was tensness with the bridge crew as they were wondering how long it would take for the Griffencrest aircraft to deviate from it's course. The captain walked over to the helm. He then walked back to the controls for communications and waited there for the next message to come from the aircraft, hopefully they fell for the communications signal to the fake nation that the ship sent to them. He looked over at the helm again.
Captain: "Helm. Set course bearing Three Two One, mark Two Nine One. Take us to a Russian port. We need to make it look like we are really heading to where we said were going."
A bell rang and then helm responded.
Helm: "Yes, Sir. Setting Course. Speed, five knotts."
The captain then walked over and looked out the window. He pulled out his binoculars and watched the griffencrest aircraft in the distance.
SCENE: BELOW DECK ON THE USS SHAZBOT
The flight deck crew was finally authorised to see the new craft that came aboard. They walked into the hanger area that was housing the craft and were in shock. None of the StarFury class aircraft had ever been stationed on a standard naval carrier in the 20 year history of their existance. They had always been stationed on the MSF Blagraland in orbit. The flight deck crew was standing there watching when their CO walked up and handed them a copy of the orders that brought the Thunderbolts here. They were transfered from Shazbotdom Marine Air Command on the mainland for testing purposes.
They were to see if they would launch properly from a sea based aircraft carrier with the modificatons made earlier in the year. And to do these test, they would be used in the war effort against Griffencrest and the Corporate Alliance here in The World Soviet Party. The first assault run that they would be used in would be in two days, if Griffencrest falls for the radio signal that was sent to them not too long ago. It all depended on the gullibacy of Griffencrest...

The plan was to force the Soviet armies to fight three different battles at the same time. This, General Al-Sayeed had hoped, would split up their army in such a way it would be easily crushed. Achmaran forces were beginning to cross the 100 km mark as the Raad 2's began to come to life. All 40 of the self propelled 155m guns opened up upon the city, smashing whatever was in the unfortunate path of the shells, be it a military or civilian target.
The armoured units sped ahead, weapons ready. They were hoping for a swift defeat of the Soviet defenders. They wanted to make the Ayatollah proud of their very first overseas engagement. They hoped he already would be proud of their accomplishments on the beach, being the first to land, but to take a city! Now that is worthy of honor.

SCENE: USS Shazbot
The Dark Empire of Shazbotdom was going to start an encrypted message to all the ships of the fleet. This encrypted televsision message would be patched through to all the Televisions on the fleet, hopefully it would pump up the enlisted men to do a better job. Captain Sysco was standing on the bridge watching out the window. He hasn't seen any aircraft from Griffencrest since they arrived at the Russian Port, which was a good thing. The carriers were to head north out of the port and launch attacks upon the weaker forces of the CA using aircraft and guided supersonic cruise missiles.
The Captain then decided it was time to go down to the aircraft hanger area and look over the new Thunderbolt craft and meet with their flight leader. He walked out the back hallway to the bridge and down the stairwell. It was a long walk as the bridge was 3 flights above the flight deck, and the aircraft hanger area was one flight below that. He saluted some of the enslited men as he walked into the hanger area. He saw a bunch of men in dark blue flight suits across the hanger of whom he didn't recognise and figured that they were the men who flew in last night. He walked up to them and they saluted him. He saluted back.
Sysco: "So, which one of you gentlmen is the flight leader."
Pilot: "Our leader is currently filling out paperwork to make the transfer official."
Sysco nodded: "Which direction is he in?"
Pilot: "He's over there."
The pilot pointed towards the rear of the compartment. Sysco nodded and then started to turn. He then noticed the pilot saluted him and he saluted back.
Sysco: "At ease."
He then turned and walked towards the man sitting at the desk in the back corner. He sulkly approached the desk and sat down without the Flight Leader noticing. He glanced over the paperwork and thought to himself, Paperwork like that is a waste of time. We need to just start doing this shit on computer, it would go quicker. It took a few minutes for the flight leader to notice Captain Sysco, but when he did he snaped his hand to salute and accidentally flipped a pencil a few foot away, onto the floor.
Sysco: "Don't worry about it." He pointed to an enlisted man and he walked over and picked up the pencil. "So soldier, whats your name?"
Flight Leader: "Master Sergent Victor L. Davidson, sir."
Sysco: "Well, son. On this ship were slightly less strict. I'm off duty right now. You can call me Jack when i'm off duty."
Victor: "Of course....Jack. What'd ya need?"
Sysco: "I just wanted to come down and see these new craft that were transfered to my ship. All i've seen are pictures and schematics. They don't really do the real craft any jutice, now do they?"
Victor: "No they don't. You can go over and look at them, they are in the little cubbie holes on either side of the large room."
Sysco: "Thank. Have a good day."
Sysco then walked down the large room and began to look through, into the cubbie holes at the new craft. He was amazed at how they looked. He's never seen a Thunderbolt be used in his life, and hopefully he will see one in action soon. He walked into one of the cubbie holes and touched one of the Thunderbolts, feeling it's smooth surface. It was much smoother than most of the regular aircraft on his ship. He then decided that it was time to take his leave and go to his quarters for a rest before his next shift. He exited the cubbie hole and back to the stairwell, where he went down to the crew quarters to sleep.

3 of the A-10s split from the group to target the unsuspecting Achmaran forces, the other 12 dropped their payload on the Griffincrest Mercs.
Meanwhile, artillery within the city opened fire on the incoming enemy, though several batteries and civilian buildings were lost to the Achmaran fire.
The Troops inside the city prepared to defend it with all they had, including their new "Chainsaws".
As the A-10's made their approach, Stingers and RPG-7's lit up the sky.
The Raad's quickly traced back the recent artillery assault, which killed about 25, and let loose another counter barrage. The army would be upon the city in less than an hour.

SCENE: Red City
The Shazbotdom Marine Corps began to fortify their positions on the outskirts of the city. They set up gun emplacements and a small command bunker in the basement of the most outlying unoccupied building. This command bunker housed some equipment for contacting the Satlites in orbit and other resourecs from the Dark Empire. They also had a direct encrypted radio link to the USS Shazbot and her battle group, which wasn't that far away, if they needed help. Outside, the men readied their XR-07 Full Auto Emplaced Guns, pointing them towards the area to their north.
SCENE: Red City Command Bunker
Colonel Mickelson watched the screens. Seeing the advances of the CA forces from a birds eye view from the satelites, he wanted to make sure that hopefully the GASN allies would be able to hold off the advance as long as they could so the Shazbotdom Marines could finish preparing the defences of Red City.
He tapped a few buttons and opened up an encrypted radio transmission to the leadership of the World Sovier party's leadership.
"Leadership of TWSP, come in. We are almost finished preparing the defences of Red City. We though wish to evacuate your top government officials if the CA forces get too close to the city. You could set up a sort of 'Government in Exile' until we are sure that the CA forces are driven out of your nation. Over?"

2 of the 3 A-10s were shot inmediatly, the other one managed to fire its payload and throw its napalm bombs right into the middle of the convoy before being shot down as well.
The counter barrage did little damage as the defenses had been now properly prepared, once again, a counter barrage was given.
A little over two dozen men died a fiery death to the napalm, but many were saved and continued to push. Only 50 km now until they reached Gustavich.
Four Raad's were blown apart. It seemed like the Soviet artillery wished to go blow for blow with the Achmaran artillery. Once more a counter barrage was fired, and this time, Griffincrest air support was called forth.

Another artillery barrage was ordered.

They are mostly an Anti Infantry, Anti Helicopter and maybe AA Weapons. Yes, they can pierce light armour (not a tank, maybe an APC or IFV depending on the armour) since they use 7.62x51 ammo.

Lieutenant-Colonel Mike "Blitz" Rocke walked along the tarmac as he witnessed his tank battalion being loaded onto Air Force C-5G Galaxy II cargo aircraft. The "naked" M55 Black Tiger tanks were rolled onto the planes without their normal ERA bricks added, so as to save space, and would be installed once they reached TWSP territory. While his heavy units were being moved onto the aircraft, his anti-tank elements, M922 Ferret light trucks with the new BGM-210 Spike anti-tank missile launchers were being loaded onto the relatively smaller C-180D Carryall transports. He continued on as the other elements of the 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry Division worked tirelessly to get the vehicles and personnel loaded and sent to TWSP so they could prepare the other brigades to deploy. They brought on the fight when they attacked our ally, now the Republic's hammer is coming down on them, Thought the veteran officer as he picked up his personal equipment and boarded the passenger aircraft for the brigade's officers.
Elsewhere around the base, the infantry battalions' vehicles and personnel were being loaded onto their respective transports. The M4A2 Spartan combat vehicles, the latest in a long heritage of Aequatian armoured fighting vehicles, were being loaded onto their transports while soldiers prepared their own weapons and equipment, before boarding passenger planes for the journey to TWST. Staff Sergeant Ross Dunstan, a platoon sergeant, slung his large rucksack (All-Pupose Individual Carrying Equipment or ALICE) over his shoulder as he directed his soldiers forward onto the C-180E, which is fitted with seats for infantry on long flights. His new G65 rifle hung from its sling on his pack as he followed behind the squads, "This is it people, we have our new toys, now let's show our people that they were worth every penny!" He said as a chorus of cheers went up from the platoon as the rest of the company boarded the aircraft.

While the airlift units were transporting the lead elements of the 1st Infantry Division, other parts of the base were preparing the combat wings of the 1st Expeditionary Air Force for deployment to TWSP to support the ground forces. Including the myriad of support aircraft, the centres of attention were the F-1C Banshee twin-engine Tactical Fighters and the F-1A Abbadon Air Superiority Fighters, which would sweep the skies clean and clear the way for the heavy hitters such as the BA-74 Arrow Attack Bombers and B-12A Vanquisher Strategic Bombers. Captain Terry "Archangel" Gibbons climbed into the cockpit of his Banshee fighter as he prepared to take off with the other members of his squadron. The twenty aircraft would soon be flying over the TWSP terrain either eliminating enemy aircraft or deploying munitions against enemy ground forces, either way, he felt great as his aircraft jetted down the runway and lifted off into the air.

It was official. The Thunderbolts were being prepared for launch as Captain Sysco was being woken up from his slumber in his quarters by an Enlisted man. The main target would be the Toopoxian military. The Missile pods were being loaded into their chambers near the main missile firing mechinism and amunition was being loaded up into the gun ports. Several of the Thunderbolts had already been brought up on deck via the elevator system and others were being wheeled over to the elevators in the primary perperation stages. The bridge was abuz with activity as the crew was preparing for Level 1 readiness.
The radar room below deck was tracking any and all aircraft in the vacinity to make sure that the launch area was clear and there would be no aircraft collisions. Captain Sysco was walking down the hall and peaked into the radar room to see what was going on. He watched for a minute as the men in the room called out calls signs and other jargen that he didn't understand. Radar Talk, he figured to himself as he ducked out and began walking towards the bridge. He walked up to the door and then opened it up and walked into the bridge. As the door closed his 2nd in command noticed and yelled out loud to the bridge.
2IC: "Captain on the Bridge!"
Everyone turned and saluted, Sysco saluted back and they all went back to their duties. He remembered when he first took over the Shazbot from Captain Keys those 25 years ago. Since then the Shazbot saw some major overhauling with it's weapons systems and electronics to ensure it's place in the grand scheme of defending the Dark Empire and her allies. Sysco walked over to the radio and checked the communications. It was then that the message from the Supreme Emperor arrived. Although it wasn't on an encoded frequency, it was on an open international frequency that would be picked up by any nation that wanted to play it. Captain Sysco then patched it through onto the closed circuit television network that was on each naval vessel that belonged to the Dark Empire.

The mighty P206 Chainguns rolled off the last few shells before whiring to a halt, new orders, onto a nearby city as directed by the Griffencrest, as was the case the first time the Pygmalions began to peel off from their activities and began the march towards the City, already firing positions had been picked out by Grey Fox recon, orders were to cause as few casualties as possible, where possible kidnap TWSP men for implimentation into the Pygmalion project, the P72 Tranq Guns attatched to the forearms were loaded and prepped for action within the city.
(OOC: PYGMALION!!!! Oh and Shaz, could you send some info on whatever attack you're making to my puppet Spooty (I only check Spooty TG's recently) so that I can accurately take losses.)

"Soviet ATC, this is lead cargo flight Alfa-India-One, requesting vector in for landing and unloading of lead elements, over."
"Roger that Alfa-India-One, you may land at the following coordinates, the yare being sent now, over."
The Benemoth III, though heavily damaged, was able to keep firing (at least for a while).
AT Units redirected their fire at the Benemoth IIs, while some infantry platoons tried to flank the Corporate Forces.

OOC: Where should my Expeditionary Force go?
The Imperial Undershi Navy troop ship Trafalgar made its way across the ocean, heading towards the far shore and the war against the Red Menace that was The World Soviet Party. Onboard were 10,000 True Undershi Army soldiers, along with 800 Viper IFVs and 150 Drake MBTs. These new forces would, however, likely be only the first of many, as the Undershi military seems set on preparing itself for further expansion of the Undershi Empire...

OOC: Ah, FAEs!!! Cool.
The Rynaldi Janissaries would be making a showing of themselves, or so it seemed - 20,000 of them were loaded onto two Imperial Undershi Navy transports and were on their way, set to arrive shortly after the True Undershi force from Undershi proper arrived. Still, they could no doubt be put to good use...

OOC: Undershi, land near the Danish-German border and help out Beiraqi forces. Please, don't randomly nuke things here.:D
IC: Soldiers began pouring over into the base. With most of the chainsaws gone, there main obstacle was just the Behemoth III. Almost 12 Javelin missiles hit the massive tank at once as men scrambled around the burning hunks that were once four Behemoth II's.
Another group of Hong-5 bombers flew in, once more unloading their payload on the Soviet defenders.
Almost a hundred more Hong's, defended by an equal number of F-4's, made their way towards Gustavich.

I don't think so. You cannot have your main nation and your puppet in this RP. You already RPed your main nation, leave your puppet out of it. Puppet wanking is extremely wrong in the RP community and frowned upon by everyone.
