It looks like the states on the West coast won't even need to be counted realy (unless my EV counts are way off), but then most people could have told you Obama would win the election 2 years ago.

They can't call before polls close because it may influence voters within that state.

Most networks have learned to be a bit more conservative with battleground states than calling based off exit polls alone.
