I don't know who you've been hanging out with, but I've only met one that actually did like it. Correction: I've only met one that admitted it. To be fair, though, I've talk openly with all my female friends and several admitted to participating in that particular act on several occasions and there responses varied from it was horrible to 'meh'.

I've met a fair amount of girls who enjoy it, and a fair amount of girls who absolutely hate it. Most of the girls who hated it had horror stories about their experiences to go along with their opinions.

No, not really. I was just saying that you attributed your increased sensitivity to the issue to her experiences but I would have to guess the experiences of both of you are a factor. I'm glad to see any couple that is as respectful of the needs and feelings of their spouse as you and she appear to be of one another. I certainly hope (expect) when I meet my wife that I will have a similar relationship.

Just a quick word of advise, make sure you're spiritually compatible before you consider anything else. Talk openly about everything, in as much detail as possible that you desire from a relationship as well as what you have to offer, before getting too emotionally attached. Kind of sounds backward doesn't it? In the end, you'll end up with someone you're much more compatible with than if you do the latter part after you're already on the emotional hook.

That's why I like knowing what people look like. For me, it creates almost as much context as hearing the inflections in speech; like not having to use smilies, or adding <sarcasm> so people really know what you're talking about.

I think that's true of everything. I think people don't look for enough in common in terms of things to talk about and things to do. I'm not just looking for someone who's nice and that I care about. I want to be with someone who improves my life and whose life I improve.

Well, to be perfectly honest, there is a sharp divide between those of my friends who are comfortably with their sexuality, and those who pretend it doesn't exist:). I was one of the first in the former group to openly admit I'd tried, and liked....some had tried and definitely NOT liked...it's a thing that takes a lot of patience and delicacy, and I can understand how a bad experience could convince you to avoid it. However, all of these girls have settled down into a long term relationship by now, and have had better experiences. Those that DON'T like it, I believe have:

a) never tried or have issues with it
b) tried, and had a bad experience

The mental component is key. If it is something a person really thinks is unpleasant, it will be.

I was thinking about lingerie type accessories, and I'm wanting more and more to find a really nice collar and cuffs. But something that goes with satin and lace...so plain metal would be out. I'd love a beaded collar over some harder substance (I'd take leather over PVC) with fine chains all around, about and inch and a half long and small 'jewels' dangling from each tiny chain. It could have a loop in the front and back for a chain, but it could also be something you might wear as a necklace. I love the way that necklaces frame the neck and collarbones, and why NOT have a collar that looks nice!!??? Sheesh...am I going to have to make my own!!?? Same thing with cuffs, minus the dangly chains. It would look great with lingerie, or without, and would be functional. Hmmmm....

I don't think that's backwards at all. Hopefully you would get to know a person fairly well before you developed any attachments to them. Physicality for me has never been enough to 'hook' me. I could be friends with someone who was, say, very religious or conservative, but I wouldn't want to share my life with them. That may seem cruel, but again, it's about compatibility. Relationships are hard work, and involve a lot of dialogue and compromise, even WITH a person you are very compatible with. I can't separate myself from my beliefs, so major differences like religion and political leanings would always be an issue.

I don't think that's backwards at all. Hopefully you would get to know a person fairly well before you developed any attachments to them. Physicality for me has never been enough to 'hook' me. I could be friends with someone who was, say, very religious or conservative, but I wouldn't want to share my life with them. That may seem cruel, but again, it's about compatibility. Relationships are hard work, and involve a lot of dialogue and compromise, even WITH a person you are very compatible with. I can't separate myself from my beliefs, so major differences like religion and political leanings would always be an issue.

I don't think that's as widespread as it seems, at least once you get past a certain age. I think the people you just described are better to laugh at so we put them on tv and we tell more stories about them, but I really don't find that the majority of people I meet fall into this category.

I am thirtish, Caucasian. Don't know that I'd call myself thin or tall though I am taller than average 6'2" 230lbs, fairly athletic so I'm not fat, but I'm not ripped and cut like a body builder either. The hair color is more a function of how much sun I've had recently and covers blonde to light brown, so that was pretty good.

I'm not very bookish though. I suppose I've read my fair share, but mostly for classes. I'd much rather play sports, watch sports, cook, do yard work, tend garden, fish, watch movies etc than read.

I'm not going to post any pics, but if you want something to compare to, I probably look something like a cross between Joe Elliot and Brendon Frazier.

Not really the youth group leader type. I do teach/facilitate a discussion Sabbath School for Grad. Students and early career adults on a rotating basis though. But I look rather out of place at times. My hair is longer than my wife's... don't have any piercings or tats though...

I'm larger than life, but in person- not terribly large-maybe average. I'm just 6 foot tall, about 220/225lbs.

I do have a long tongue-I can touch my nose with it. (and I dont have a big nose).
I drool a lot when appropriate.
