Mathieu fixed her bra strap as her shirt came down, and he chuckled.

Sareau retired to his quarters. Sifting his way through his baroque protocols, he accessed the scrolls, carefully unrolled them, scanned them, and replaced them in their urns before making a copy he sent to 367.

The night was upon him, so he retired to his bed...

Goltia walked with Mathieu for a while, then stopped outside of Joshua's dorm.
"Oh for Aurons sake..."said Goltia, banging on the door"JOSH! Time to wake up!".
There was a loud bang as Josh fell out of his bed and then shouted"OK! Gimme a minute!" Josh then quickly woke Grace up, put some deodorant on, got dressed and, making sure that Grace was dressed, opened the door and said to his sister:"Ok, I'm up!" The thing that Goltia noticed first about her brother was that he had ditched the black overcoat completely and was just wearing a white shirt with blue flame pattens on it. The second was the pendent hanging from his neck on the outside of his shirt. Looking at Grace, she noticed that she was also wearing her pendent outside of her clothing. Shaking her head, Goltia said:"Come on, time for breakfast."
"Fine...."said Josh, wrapping an arm around Grace, who had reverted to her camo clothing, and walking out of his dorm. Josh then seemed to noticed Mathieu for the first time that morning.
"oh...Hey Mathieu,"said Josh friendlily. Grace waved at him, but kept her mouth shut.

Lucus awoke silently while scanning his surroundings before realising he was still in Professor Phoenix's quarters. His head was a bit dizzy but he noticed a handle lying on Phoenix's desk that he must've being working on before he left. Lucus picked up the handle and studied it for a moment. It was one part to the sword he was creating. Strange though, he couldn't find any smithing tools lying about. For the moment, Lucus placed it under the pillow and went out for a walk through the hall's. Lucus was wearing a traditional Lynion Uniform he found in his belongings. It felt strange though, it felt so warm yet it bought alot of memories back about home.

'I feel so much better after that sleep,' he thought to himself as he ventured towards the lunchroom. 'Better have something before I find the others,' Lucus found himself something to eat and quietly began to eat by himself at one of the tables. 367 eventually found him and handed him his PDA. It had an email from his friends on the surface. They were sending him a message about how things were going and how they missed him. He then decided to open a com-channel to the surface.

"Yo sleeply head," replied a voice after awhile before a face appeared on the screen. "Ohh fudge! Its you,"

"Yeah it's me," replied Lucus. "Did I wake you up again?"

"Nope, I just finished my Second Trail and boy it was a bitich. I can't really explain much," he replied in a yawn. "How's everything being up there?"

"Odd thing or two," he replied. "I nailed Alex Smith as well, before I had a metal spear thrown straight through me,"

"Ahh crumb!" he replied. "With Alex Smith dead, it'll cause the Smith Clan make another move and we should be able to track the bastards," he explained.

"Nothing I can't handle Matthew," Lucus smiled as the pair started to chat about things.

Of course there was someone who'd already tracked him down. Concerned for more than a single reason, Delphina had been a bit dishonest, probing the station for Lucus' mental signature to locate him. She had entered the lunchroom, pretending to be uncertain as what to get. They had to make it look like a casual encounter.

"So whose the girl?" Matthew asked over the channel as Lucus finished eating his breakfest.

"That's Professor Davis," Lucus replied as he glanced at Delphina while noticing how unsure she was about something. "She's just my teacher..."

"Bullshit," coughed Matthew as Lucus turned back to him. "I know what's really going on," explained Matthew as he put on a dectetive tone. "Last night you were with trying to get her to 'help' you with your 'homework'. In the process, you put on the 'Prince Charming' tone and you did what you do best,"

"Damnit Matt!" replied Lucus joking. "On a serious note though, don't bring it up if my friends are around. I don't want trouble to start,"

"I gotta get going anyway. I'll talk to you tonight buddy," finished Matt as he waved goodbye before the com-channel closed.

Lucus meanwhile placed his PDA down his pocket and went over to where Delphina was standing. It looked to Lucus she was having trouble deciding what to eat. It was also then, that Lucus felt that something was going on with her. Lucus was wearing a dark navy blue shirt and cargo pants with a cloak to keep him warm.

"Those pancakes were nice," replied Lucus. "A bit of cream and jam and it'll taste so nice Professor Davis," added Lucus. If there was one thing he still did in public, he referred to her as Professor Davis to avoid suspicion with the others.

"Slow down 367," replied Lucus as he sat with Delphina. "What's the problem?" Lucus asked as 367 sat in a blind spot where nobody could see him but Delphina and Lucus.

"I've recently being in contact with Sareau and he asked me to translate a few things for him," started 367. "It turns out that it's conected to the Hagia Sophia robbery some time ago that made the papers. During the robbery, there was a number of scrolls stolen by the robber. To make matters worse, Sareau gave me identical copies to those that were stolen," explained 367. "Sareau is up to something and it doesn't look good,"

Sareau waited patiently at the docking bay, waiting for the shuttle bearing Ken Marcus(AKA Cameron Makhent) to settle into it's hangar and the environment to establish itself.

Rime evaporated as the chill of space gave way to more human-friendly temperatures, and the hatch on the side slid open, revealing Marcus with his bags. "Am I in time, Boss?"

Sareau checked his pocketwatch. "Your timing is adequate-and watch the 'boss'. Our fellow students are thick, but not that thick. I've given them clues as to my machinations, and with luck, they will tag along with their dog hoping to reveal the monsters as crooked land developers or some such. Heroes are so predictable.

"You'll be bunking with me-use my peccadilloes to buy sympathy with them, and keep your mouth shut and your eyes and ears open. I have reason to suspect beyond the Peyton Place activities, one or two of my classmates might not be hormone driven idiots."

Marcus shrugged. "So, no recruiting here?"

"I have doubts any of these Pollyanna Communists have any desires beyond their sheephood, but a proper suggestion here or there may well reveal a comrade-in-arms, 'comrade' being an unintentional pun." Sareau snorted, looking at Marcus. "Well, laugh."

"Hehe-yeah, Boss, real funny." Marcus replied, rolling his eyes. "Where can I put my gear?"

"Come along-I'll introduce you at breakfast-pretend I'm giving you the tour."

"Sure thing, Boss."

"And don't call me 'boss'."

"Right, Boss."

367 locked the door behind him before placing a PDA on the ground. It started to play around with it for a few moments before he became part of a massive hologram around him. It glanced about for a moment before the connection became clear and several high commanders of the Vamperial Order and the League of Wolves appeared.

Vamperial Kingdom of Lynion, Lynscert Island, Vamperial Temple
Vamperial Council Room
Early in the Morning

"What's the urgent notice 367?" started Jian as Rathma, Sherman, Tzu, Vamp and Mavax joined the room.

"I've recently got the data back from our translator's at the Temple and I've made some rather outstanding discoveries," started 367. "Student ID known as Sareau," next to 367 was a hologram of Sareau. "Took part in a major robbery some time ago that made the headlines of the national news and maybe 119th page of our own. Things became more suspecious when Sareau handed me a copy of the scolls. At first I thought he needed help with translation which what I was there for. Over time, I translated the language and it was worth informing the Vamperial Order," explained 367.

"What sort of power are we talking of?" Tzu asked 367.

"Prediction indicate that if this was to be united with Sareau, he will become difficult to elimate," replied 367. "However, we do have some time. The are a number of keys spread out which needed to be found..."

"And if he get's his hands on it, he can lay claim to the device and take over the world right?" Rathma quizzed 367.

"Yes master," replied 367 still loyal to Rathma Phoenix. "I've sent three copies to the Vamperial Order and I'll send the other to Sareau. However, we have one minor problem. I informed Professor Delphina Davis and Lucus Lingston but Delphina Davis didn't take it too well and went off in a rage. If Delphina confronts Sareau sooner than we expect, then we can expect it to get far out of hand,"

"That won't be good," muttered Tzu. "Are any of the keys in the Vamperial Kingdom?"

"I haven't found the possible locations but I would expect them to lead to Ancient Khem, under a Sphinx where a pharoah is buried. I suspect that the device is buried with the pharoah and that the pharoah was somehow involved with the creation of the device," answered 367.

"Sending in the military will be too obvious," started Sherman.

"I'll come back to the school and collect a few things. While I'm there, I'll talk to Delphina about it and Lucus," offered Rathma.

"Then Rathma's Squad will be sent as backup for the job," stated High King Vamp as he came to a conculsion. "However, we can only send them once the location of the key's is found. Rathma will be sent to destroy one of the keys. If we destroy at least one, the device shouldn't be able to work," concluded Vamp. "Rathma, back your things, your going back to school," finished Vamp as the hologram of 367 faded and Rathma got up to head to the space station again.

Meanwhile

367 ventured outside looking around for Sareau. Avoiding suspecion, he avoided Lucus and his peers including the professor's before finding Sareau with another person. Not saying a word he turned to Sareau. He took a CD from his back and lifted it up with his spare hand to Sareau. He didn't feel ashamed as it was part of his programing but he did noticed the other person and presumed he was Sareau's friend or relative but didn't bother to ask. 367 did however, turned to give Sareau his full attention.

"Translation are completed," stated 367. "I've made a copy and saved the original so you have a spare. I must state however that the translation was a bit hard since I've never seen it before. Nevertheless, the job is done and I hope it answer's your question. I don't mind translating though. See you around Sareau," finished 367 as he handed Sareau the CD before heading back to his master's dorm.

Rathma wasn't sure what was going to happen so he kept his right hand close to his sword. He eventually found her office and door. 367 looked up at Rathma as Rathma looked down on him. He pointed to the door and knocked on it for a moment.

"Professor Davis, it's Rathma. Do you have a moment?" Rathma asked.

A solemn knock sounded through the office, and Professor Davis was somewhat shocked to find the station was now inaccessible to her highly attuned senses.

"Prof. Davis?" Whately stood in the doorway, and Delphina got the distinct memory-sense of a mission bell sounding. "I should like to speak with you, if I may-I've taken the liberty of weaving a spell of privacy about us."

He waited for assent, then slid across to the chair opposite her desk. "Tea?" he asked with an economical wave revealing a full Revere silver service, the pot piping delightfully aromatic steam. "I find a few social amenities may soften an unpleasant situation. The cakes in particular, I'm rather proud of-the recipe was lost ages ago, but Annilla murmured it out during one of her lucid periods-true moon-cakes. Please, indulge..."

His cold, glazed eyes took in Professor Phoenix and 367. "Perhaps a faculty meeting is in order. I have invoked privacy, and would ask you consider the minutes of this gathering confidential, if you do not mind."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sareau helped Marcus unpack then took him to the cafeteria. "The League sets out a nice buffet-just tell the attendant and he'll ready your plate. The Alliance and Blackstar set up slightly different arrangement-I think Blackstar just doles out coffee and doughnuts with a whiskey chaser, but they pride themselves on getting by with less.
"The Alliance students don't come to this table, and I don't frequent their section, and I don't believe there are any Blackstar in our student body, but I really don't think there's any rule about where you may fetch meals-I just prefer the spread here."
He turned to the attendant. "Today, I think I should like Belgian waffles with a rich cream, grits with butter and pepper, sausage, bacon, some biscuits and gravy, and-oh, is that toad-in-the-hole? One of those on the side, please." he said, passing a bill to the man before turning to Marcus: "Tipping is an art form-always palm the bill surreptitiously unless heroes are present-the joy one receives when they realize Crime, in fact, does pay is worth it, but among our own, it's ill mannered to flaunt success. Besides, the less-well off villains aren't above a mugging..."
Rathma
"Not yet, but I'm investigating on my own," Delphina replied. "I assume it's quite serious, as I no longer underestimate him." She remembered that hint of psychic contamination...as if Sareau knew of her relationship. And then the new psychic profile re-emerged. "He has an accomplice from the surface," she stated factually.
Delphina heard the knock and let Whately(?) enter. Her eyes were kind and her smile pleasant, but internally, she was nothing of the sort. As he had raised a wall of privacy, she had extended a psychic wall, blocking her thoughts from even the strongest of attacks.
"I must decline, pardon," she answered, "I've already eaten. But thank you for the offer. May I ask, what do you need to discuss that must remain so confidential."
"367," shouted Rathma as the droid came through the door. "Play back Meeting Alpha 5-7 Subject: Sareau,"
"Standby," 367 went from a droid to an open comm device. It opened up a hologram as it rewinded backwards as it showed a meeting with six high ranking personal and one of them being Rathma. It stopped and then played.
"What's the urgent notice 367?" started Jian as Rathma, Sherman, Tzu, Vamp and Mavax joined the room.
"I've recently got the data back from our translator's at the Temple and I've made some rather outstanding discoveries," started 367. "Student ID known as Sareau," next to 367 was a hologram of Sareau. "Took part in a major robbery some time ago that made the headlines of the national news and maybe 119th page of our own. Things became more suspecious when Sareau handed me a copy of the scolls. At first I thought he needed help with translation which what I was there for. Over time, I translated the language and it was worth informing the Vamperial Order," explained 367.
"What sort of power are we talking of?" Tzu asked 367.
"Prediction indicate that if this was to be united with Sareau, he will become difficult to elimate," replied 367. "However, we do have some time. The are a number of keys spread out which needed to be found..."
"And if he get's his hands on it, he can lay claim to the device and take over the world right?" Rathma quizzed 367.
"Yes master," replied 367 still loyal to Rathma Phoenix. "I've sent three copies to the Vamperial Order and I'll send the other to Sareau. However, we have one minor problem. I informed Professor Delphina Davis and Lucus Lingston but Delphina Davis didn't take it too well and went off in a rage. If Delphina confronts Sareau sooner than we expect, then we can expect it to get far out of hand,"
"That won't be good," muttered Tzu. "Are any of the keys in the Vamperial Kingdom?"
"I haven't found the possible locations but I would expect them to lead to Ancient Khem, under a Sphinx where a pharoah is buried. I suspect that the device is buried with the pharoah and that the pharoah was somehow involved with the creation of the device," answered 367.
"Sending in the military will be too obvious," started Sherman.
"I'll come back to the school and collect a few things. While I'm there, I'll talk to Delphina about it and Lucus," offered Rathma.
"Then Rathma's Squad will be sent as backup for the job," stated High King Vamp as he came to a conculsion. "However, we can only send them once the location of the key's is found. Rathma will be sent to destroy one of the keys. If we destroy at least one, the device shouldn't be able to work," concluded Vamp. "Rathma, back your things, your going back to school," finished Vamp as the hologram of 367 faded and Rathma got up to head to the space station again.
"End of transmission," ended 367 as he went back to his droid form.
Whately listened to 367, nodding sagely. "I should have known the Minoan artifacts would be too attractive-almost went after them myself, you know-the Shining Trapezehedron of Nephren-Ka is far too powerful, especially in the hands of our family.
"It's a map, of sorts-the whole of Reality in a solid form. With it, Nephren-Ka could coax effects that allowed him to establish a multidimensional kingdom-he required fire and blood, pain and steel-all the things the Old Ones love, but Sareau has the advantage of being one of the people for whom the Trapezehedron is intended.
"With it, he can access not only anywhere, but anywhen. Time and Space will unfold before him, long before he grows into his power." Whately tapped irritably on the table before him. "I must admit, I'm proud of the boy-I was twice his age before I attempted schemes on such a grand scale.
"Of course, that means precious little-he should grow into such power naturally rather than seize it. The problem is that if he uncovers the hiding place of the Trapezehedron-and it's not the tomb of a pharoah, 367, it's an ancient temple-he will find himself possessed of far too much power for him to exert wisely.
"Being able to edit history with a thought is too much. At least, for now..." Whately pondered, his brow furrowed. "I could forbid it-but that just means he'll grow more secretive about it. As it stands, it is a matter of time before he comes to me for advice..."
"367, I don't think killing Sareau is our first option," stated Rathma firmly having a feeling Whately will highly declined it.
"Incorrect," replied 367 making Rathma raise his left eyebrow. "During the Fungi Campagin, the Fungi required a substance to subject the powers and return Lynion's to common Human's in order to kill them easily. However, because the substance was introduced in the last days in the war, it was never a successful weapon since it there were only a few magazine's every produced. "Wouldn't it be easier to elimate Sareau?" 367 suggested without even realising what it could lead to.
Whately smiled oddly. "It is very difficult to instill in our villainous students that murder is NOT an option when we who set the example consider it first, 367. Besides, I will NOT kill my grandson. Despite my reputation, I do have limits."
"367, I don't think killing Sareau is our first option," stated Rathma firmly having a feeling Whately will highly declined it.
"Incorrect," replied 367 making Rathma raise his left eyebrow. "During the Fungi Campagin, the Fungi required a substance to subject the powers and return Lynion's to common Human's in order to kill them easily. However, because the substance was introduced in the last days in the war, it was never a successful weapon since it there were only a few magazine's every produced. When the war ended, the weapon was sent to the Vamperial Order to be studied,"
"So it doesn't kill the victim, just remove's their powers completely?" Rathma asked 367.
"Provided the individual is a Lynion Vampire or Lycanthrope." Whately amended. "Lynion may enjoy near-universal Empowerment, but it is from the same source-heavily Life-aspected, it produces a werewolf, heavily Death-aspected, a Vampire. The Fungals employed a rudimentary understanding of this principle, but young Clytus draws his energies from an entirely separate source-the hoary Kings of Edom will not be laid low by such, and his is their power by birthright.
"Besides, there's a prophecy involved he has to fulfill, though whether he completes it or is part of the chain that completes it is hard to say." Yes, that should hold up, Whately calmly explained. "It has to do with the Kings of Edom and human survival past their return-Abd al-Azrad was rather obscure, but between his madness and trying to rhyme..."
Whately shifted in his chair, tapping the reader holding 367's translation. "Could I see the original? Some terms here might be allegorical or mystical, and while I don't doubt 367 provided a literal translation, I somehow doubt he is conversant in the jargon of ancient sorcery.
"It would be best, I think, to determine what he lacks to succeed and seize that, all the while playing dumb. In fact, if we could arrange it, it might even be best to let the student body compete in this scavenger hunt and gauge their abilities and progress if we could figure a way to involve them..."
'Jackass!' thought 367 to himself. 'He must think he's surpreme judge. Still a jackass if you ask me,'
"367?" questioned Rathma as he waved his hand in front of the droid. "Something wrong?"
"Err..." started 367 as it glanced about. "Nothing, I was just downloading something," it stated as it started to go through. "The possible positions of the key's locations are difficult to translate. I suggest we find a native or somebody that actually know's the language extremely well," stated 367 as it gave the original to Professor Whately.
'I wander if 367 can think for itself,' thought Rathma to himself.
"The Minoans were wiped out in an eruption that buried 3/4th of Crete under volcanic ash." Whately accepted the new disc and slotted it. "The only bit of their homeland above sea level is the tiny island of Santorini. It's believed by many that the Minoans inspired the myth of Atlantis.
"Let's see here-King Minos was greeted by Nephren-Ka, God of the Black Lands and King of the Western Lands. Gifts did he bring-black pearls and coral, rich silks from Persia, and gifts did he receive-gold from the mines of the South and a fine bull of sea-foam whiteness. Hmmmm....." Whately read on. "Mostly seems to be a state visit, showing the king the rich fields of Egypt, the vast armies, blahblahblah...Ah! Here we are-
"Then raising his staff to the heavens did Nephren-Ka speak the Word, and lo, the Sphinx did part it's claws and reveal the inner chambers wherein lay the August Presence. Diverse attendants who had anointed the creature with honey, wine, frankincense and myrrh entered first to sate the appetites of the guardians, then did the two kings enter the August Presence of the Room of Spheres.
"The writer apparently did not proceed, for the journey through the chambers takes on a different tone, but it seems to open the doorway one needs to know this Word, which is not transcribed, the staff of Nephren-Ka, which was shattered and it's pieces sent to the far corners of the world when his acolyte Nitocris was overthrown some 1500 years later, as well as these sacred aromatics to anoint sacrifices for the guardians.
"Now, the staff ended up in three main fragments-Morgan le Fay bound one in flying rowan and silver to create the Glastonbury Wand. Since it's in the Tower of London, let's assume it's safe. A second piece was fashioned into a hilt for Temujin's sword. That might be in Katakor if he wasn't buried with it. The head was broken when invaders raided the Byzantines, but the stones in it were used to form a diadem for Yambu the Silver. Sadly, I don't recall the invaders were ever revealed beyond the name of their queen.
"The Word is probably recorded in the tomb of Nephren-Ka, but it's location is lost, though his cult flourished for centuries, and exists in a debased form even today..."
"I know they discovered the catacombs beneath Cairo that lead ultimately to the Tomb of Osiris, but the Sphinx is still inviolate and mysterious." Whately answered. "And yes-Temujin was also known as Genghis Khan."
His pocketwatch began to play a delicate waltz in soft chimes until he removed it and opened the lid. "Hmmmm...we'll have to table this-my class will be expecting me in Bay Five soon. I may teach them an extra lesson as a slight bonus. Something to make them think a bit..."
Sareau breakfasted with Ken, speaking to him in whispers beneath the hood he donned for meals. "For the most part, you'll find the classes fairly simple, the students pleasant. Bit of drama usually floating about, but little of it is of interest."
"Gee-teenagers and drama-who'da thunk it?" Ken Marcus said around a mouthful of cereal. "So, other than watching the soap opera, what do you want?"
"I want you nearby, my boy." Sareau hoarsely whispered. "My studies will bear fruit soon, and I'll need you, and soon, to complete them. Recruiting should be a priority, but here..." he cast his head about. "..."Our next class will reveal much, though I doubt it would profit us much. Those inclined to break the societal barriers haven't been much in the line of team players.
"Our next class is Teamwork and Group Dynamics. Current project is building space skimmers-I've assembled many of the parts, so it's welding and tweaking the design a bit. I think we'll be racing them once they're completed. How are you with an arc-welder?"
"Pretty good." Marcus smiled, his teeth frighteningly white against his blue skin. "Though I've never used one on metal before."
"It's easier-no screaming or trying to wriggle away." Sareau shrugged. "Just be friendly when you meet our classmates, and stay away from the women-all of them hooked up as soon as they came aboard, and I don't want romantic entanglements leading to rivalries, understand?"
Marcus shrugged, and acquiesced. "No prob, Boss."
"And don't call me 'Boss'."
"Sure thing, Boss."
Whately looked about the bay, casually walking among the partially assembled skimmers, eying various parts and noting their origins. Irritably, he tapped on a fuselage on Sareau's skimmer. "Mr. Sareau, is this military issue?"
"Yes, Sir." Despite his mask, Sareau managed to look sheepish.
"May I remind you that cobbling these things together is supposed to teach self-reliance...do you truly expect to have time in normal circumstances to rob some government?" As if he realized who he was talking to, he suddenly smiled. "Good work, but limit your plundering to the station in future-at least for class.
"Mr. Makhent...excuse me, Marcus-you're new, so I'll assign you to Sareau's team. He's been looting rather ruthlessly, so all you'll have to do is assembly, now. Since you're new, it'll give you time to catch up.
"I'll want five pages on your favorite team at your leisure." He wandered away, pausing briefly to add:"See to it your leisure is within three days, will you?"
He noted the progress of the other skimmers, making notes, as the class assembled.
Marcus whispered, "Boss, I think he knows..."
Sareau sighed. "Of course he knows-he's Lord Shilling's godfather and partnered a time or two with Shilling's father. That was his way of letting me know he's aware of it.
"I may not be a mabinog, but I am certainly aware that men talk..."
Whately watched the class assemble before taking a central spot and beginning: "Class, I see some new faces. I'm afraid you'll have to either partner with an existing team or form a new one and be a bit behind, but nothing to be done for it-hardly going to reorder Time for you.
"However, to give the new students a taste of what it is we do here, I am going to prepare a demonstration. First, precautions: each of you sketch out a perfect circle, large enough to comfortably stand in..."he withdrew a length of chalk, and swiftly arranged a perfect circle three feet across about his feet. "Once this is done, I can begin..."
OOC:Just for stage setting, there is no chalk set out or in a box for use.
Whately canted in his soft hissing whisper, forming the stuff that flowed between realities into the stuff of an abgallu, a hideous fish-frog that the peoples of Ur and Sumer classified as an animal while still crediting it with bestowing upon them their primitive technology and civilization.
Of course, most of the class had not protected themselves, but Whately knew the apkallu would exact but a light price, most likely a geas that would lead them to self-discovery or death-the apkallu were like that, and Whately secretly hoped the experience would teach them more than any lecture in his sibilant drone.
The smell was old moss and stagnant water as wisps of not-quite flesh yet as a vaguely anthropoid outline coalesced outside Whately's circle. Damp appearing flesh wove over the shape, a sickly pinkish hue that roiled and bubbled to form lumpy masses in it's pristine initial state. When large wartish growths on the top of the head sprouted, then cleft and revealed great golden eyes, thruming with the tainted divinity of the Ba'ali, a scream sounded in Bay Five from one of the students.
"Ms. Moyle, and you others who are joining this class for the first time: this class is attempting to teach you teamwork and leadership skills. To this end, we have divided into teams who are building skimmers we will use to perform various exercises, beginning with a race or scavenger hunt once the skimmers are built and operable." Prof. Whately replied in answer.
"I would ask you either join or form a team. I've plans available, and parts are to be obtained by scavenging, preferably as a team. While I have instructed you to scavenge, you are not to be caught doing so, nor will I compromise my deniability to defend you if you are. Is that understood, Ms. Moyle?"
He nodded brusquely before continuing: "I should also assign an essay, due next class: five pages on the leader you most admire. Now, if you require anything, please feel free to address queries to me, and I'll leave you to your work otherwise."
"Eh, like he said," Mathieu answered Goltia, "We're making these skimmers. I think we got pretty far last time..." he turned to face the professor and raised his hand, "Sir, does it have to be a historical or contemporary leader? Or can it be ficticious?"
"Interesting idea for a school," mumbled the man to himself as he glanced around at Bay 7.
It felt a bit different from being in the tropical region of the world and then coming onboard to a space station looking for someone. For this man, it meant a lot when he started his search for Rathma Phoenix. Sure, the man was a national icon when it came to the military, but he still had a difficult time looking for him since at lot of the records were classified. The only real contact he had was with the Vamperial Order upon exposing some information that was important for them. Upon hearing the evidence, they decided it was best to send the man to find Rathma himself.
"I wander what he does here?" he asked himself as he swung the bag over his back and headed into the hallways.
He glanced about noticing another bay was being used for class and decided it would be best to avoid it since he wanted to find Rathma quietly. The hallways echoed with his footsteps as he eventually found Rathma's quarters but no sign of him. He then glanced down at the droid and decided to play a bluff.
'If I was him where would I be?' he thought to himself as he went through the hallways. 'Teachers lounge?' the man quickly glanced into the room and didn't find him. 'A dime he's with another teacher,'
The man was wearing a pair of ripped shorts, boots and a shirt with a belt across his shirt. He face had a scar down his left eye and parts of his legs had cybernetic implants built into it. It was then he came across a room where he knocked on the door.
"Hello," started the man as he stood at the door to Delphina Davis office/room. It was then that the door opened and Rathma appeared at in the doorway looking at him. The man looked back at him as they shared glances. "I...I'm looking for a teacher named Rathma Phoenix. Do you know where I could find him?" he asked.
"This is got to be a joke," replied Rathma. "How the blazes did you know I was here?" he demanded.
"Easy, I asked around and I had a source that stated you were here,"
"What source was that?" Rathma asked.
"The Vamperial Order," the man replied.
"And you are...?" Rathma asked.
"I'm Blackett Richard Phoenix," the man replied as Rathma expression turned to shock. "I'm Rathma's older brother,"
MEANWHILE....
Markus Templar stepped off his shuttle and reached to pick up his suitcases.
"Sir, these will be taken to your quarters,"said the pilot.
"Not wanting that suitcase,"said Templar, reaching past his suitcase and grabbing another. This suitcase was purple, and engraved with ancient lettering. The most drawing part of it was the symbol in the middle: The Omega sign. Picking it up, he walked out of the hanger and walked along the corridors towards the teachers lounge. Some eyes followed him, but not because of the box. His clothes were interesting: A black flowing jacket, black jeans and a red shirt. The main source of interest was, however, the sword strapped to his back. Engraved with skulls and pentagrams, it was a very nasty looking piece of metal. Walking along the corridors, he saw some adults talking in a office. Walking up, he said:"Hey, mind helping me? I'm new here and i have no idea where i am..."
OOC: Yes, the box is nasty and evil. You'll find out what it is when you ask :P
"I believe I only said 'the leader you most admire'." Prof. Whately replied. "If you most admire a fictional leader, then by all means, assert yourself. I feel that all leaders have moments where their ability truly shines, when their mettle is shown, even if they are works of fiction.
"No..." started Rathma as he shaked his head in disbeilf. "There is no way I have a brother...wait...what nation did we come from?"
"Romania," replied Blackett. "You were born during the Russian Revolution and Romania was one of the major battle grounds during the Revolution. However, even as the Revolution went on, there were others that were interested in us since we weren't Humans. You were born in early 1918 when there was a fight between the Humans and the Werewolves and we were caught in the crossfire," explained Blackett. "For the sake of us, you were given to somebody fleeing to Lynion, I was given to an Australian soldier and your sister was given to a family heading towards India. It was for our own protection but our parents died in the process," concluded Blackett.
"Wait! I have a sister now?" asked Rathma. "Whose your contact in the Vamperial Order?"
"Hmm...it was a bloke named Vamp," replied Blackett.
"Right, you stay in the school and I'll check this out with Vamp," stated Rathma as he took 367 with him to another room.
"Good morning, I'm Delphina Davis, also known as Deadlight."
"G'day, its nice to meet you Delphina," smiled Blackett as he was slightly curious about Deadlight. "I presume Deadlight is a nickname or another name you use? I presume your a friend or a co-worker to Rathma?" he asked before a man entered the room. "I'm only a visitor. I presume there's private quarters for the teachers further down the hallway," suggested Blackett knowing he will be wrong.
Prof. Whately looked at his pocket watch before snapping the lid down with an irritable flick of his fingers. His fingers were somewhat cramped, but he had carefully transcribed the exact words of the apkallu's curse, and saw it was typical of the Sumerians-harshly brutal but simple enough to apologize for, with a placative sacrifice.
The students were busy with their assignments, but doubtless those cursed would seek consultation with him later. Hopefully, he wouldn't be long with the Board of Regents over the recent disruption in his class, when the Marterkind had inflicted substantive damage to his classroom.
It would be annoying if the new students were not quite prepared, but he'd hardly cut into his time to allow them to play catch-up. They could either spend spare time or hope conditions did not allow for the obstacle course run and he'd organize some team sport they could exclude themselves from to complete their project.
Idly, he noted that his grandson Sareau had a two man team, consisting of himself and the new boy, Mr. "Marcus". While he didn't know much about Marcus, he did note he took direction well and was almost slavish in his desire to please. Shilling was definitely getting a phone call...
"Yeah, I was wondering about that-why not build it for speed? We're just going to race it."
"Ok maybe we can remove that one," corrected Blackett believing Rathma was telling the truth.
"What about you Blackett?" asked Rathma. "You know quite a bit about me but I know nothing about you,"
"Shortly after the family parted, I found myself in Australia," started Blackett as he changed into a werewolf. "When Seocnd World War broke out I decide to sign up and found myself in the 7th Australian Division and travelled to North Africa, onto the Kokoda Trail, went up South East Asia, went to Japan as part of peace-keeping forces, then went into Korea as an SAS soldier and finally, I went to Vietnam as a volunteer but I never enjoyed the public when I got home," explained Blackett. "I retired afterwards and became one of the biggest hunters in Australia. I worked with the Aboriginals during my time and I then started looking for you,"
"That sounds better than my life," joked Rathma as the pair wandered into the arena. "I think for my next class, we'll teach them how to track and hunt,"
"Agreed," smiled Blackett as 367 came into the arena. The pair started to prepare for the class as 367 powered the holograms.
Grace grunted in reply, still focused on the electronics systems of the skimmer.
Mathieu chuckled and began to whistle as he continued to weld.
"Ok, so that rules out high level demons...Supressor...Hmm, that could be useful,"said Markus, writing a series of rules on the board:
1)No sand AT ALL.
2)Any religious items MUST STAY UNDER CLOTHING.
3)During demonstrations STAY BEHIND THE SALT LINE.
4)Touching the Box or my sword is a instant detention.
"Those seem reasonable?"asked Markus, backing away from the board so Delphina could read them.
"That seems reasonable," Delphina objected. "Although...may I ask why no sand?"
"Sand is the medium for which some really nasty demons can cross to our world through,"said Markus."Namely, Hell Vanguard, which is the closest thing you can get to a death god. Not something you want in the same room as a bunch of kids"
Markus set about getting ready for his first class. He first moved the desks around so they formed a horse shoe shape, with a large semi circle in the middle. He then went into a storeroom down the hall and got 3 big bags of salt. He then opened one and poured a line of salt around the edge of the circle. Finally, he got a piece of chalk and draw a pentagram on the floor, noticeablely leaving out a line.
"There. That should do,"said Markus, nodding to himself as he looked at his work.
Whately snapped shut his watch and announced: "Class is ended-please cover your skimmers with a tarp, and we'll resume later. If any of you desire further further instruction on the days events, my door is open. Mr. and Ms. Moyle, I should like you both to arrange a time convenient to you to meet with me privately. For the rest of you, five pages on your favorite leader-I do read these papers in their entirety, so the individual who wrote a magnificent first page, the Gettysburg Address, and a wonderful fifth page will be pleased to know that fourscore and seven years ago, such slovenly work was awarded with an 'F' as well."
Smiling to himself, for the looks on the class's faces informed him more than a few had heard the rumor faculty rarely had time for perusing homework. In truth, Whately insisted upon such assignments not merely to torture his class, but because researching such things did often inspire students in ways his lectures or exercises could not. Simple, rousing phrases like "Tear down this wall" resounded in the mind far more firmly than the baroque scheme that destroyed the Evil Empire. Of course, the students rarely realized these assignments were self-education, but in later years, they would heaken back to these memories, and hopefully it would serve them, or at least keep them alive...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Sareau and Marcus carefully arranged the tarp over their skimmer. "What's next, boss?"

Sareau checked his Blackberry. "I was thinking Power Harnessing, but it appears to be a new class-Professor Templar. Templar? Let's hope we don't have to get all Papal and King of France-y on him."

"Huh?"

'Odd,' thought Lucus to himself in a closed mind as he placed a trap on the skimmer he was working on. 'Strange how the bloke called Sareau boss...Hahaha,' he laughed to himself in his thoughts. 'Good joke...he thought to himself as he repeated the joke in his mind,' he put the joke aside for a moment as he placed another trap just in case somebody was smart enough to break the first one. 'Anyhow, favourite leader...hmm...maybe King Vamp would be a good choice,' he thought as he started to head out of the classroom as several thoughts were passing through his mind.

"Hey guys. New class,"he said."'Demonology with Professor Templar'. Hmmm...Sounds fun. Lets get going then." With that, he walked out of the hanger bay, before stopping and waiting for Grace and the others to catch up.

In the entrance hall of the so called super hero high school , which he refused to mentally capitalise out of sheer belligerence, a shimmering field appeared near, but not on, the ceiling. Rather, it seemed as if a sudden haze two millimeters thick and measuring several meters in length and width had simply appeared. It seemed to thrum with energy and gradually imagesbegan to form, flicking between hundreds of scenes a second forming nothing more than a blur it finally stopped on a single one, the image held for roughly a second, a simple stained and rusted sheet of metal, then gravity took hold and whatever it has slid through the portal.

A steel box, covered in patches of rusted metal, charred, scratched and stained from who knew what, slid seamlessly through the portal; landing with an echoing bang on the floor of the hall it simply sat there as the portal sputtered and died with little fuss.

A minute passed, a period of silence intermittent with a few bumps eminating from indside the box as well as a few yells of frustration which ran headlong into the concept of silence. A door in the boxes side was forced open through the combined force of someone pushing against another ones body. The unfortunate fell through the door, sprawled on the floor, as another figure stepped out other him gingerly; helping the first up rather unwillingly they took in the site of the hall.

The first figure, the one who either fell or was pushed out of the box, was a tall heavily built man dressed in simple jeans a jumper with pale skin, brown hair and small brown eyes; he had a rather timid look about him, a kind, if somewhat reserved demenour like that of a small bunny rabbit.

The other figure was shorter than the first, although he was still just over six foot, but was made taller by his blond hair filled with electric blue streaks; giving the impression that he had mistaken his own fingers for a plug socket. This particular character however was not dressed simply, indeed, he stood out like a Nazi in a synagogue. One of his eyes had been replaced with a large blue orb which whizzed around it's socket, a central light blinking like the LED on a computer as it took in it's surroundings; the other was also blue but dilated to a significant size. His dress sense was also correspondingly bizzarre, he wore a blue trench coat with overly large brass buckes to do it up, pinstripe trousers and a pair of heavy black military boots; he also carried a black siler spike topped umbrella despite having no cause for not going outside.

"Well my good Gee." Said the second figure to the first, "Who says that time travel isn't the best way to get around these days?"
"Me." Replied the first known as Gee, "Especially when you try to use my body as a battering ram to open the doors."
"Well you did say to use a chest to force it open."
"I meant a luggage chest Drake."
"Kyzbug actually." "Drake" replied testily, Gee waved a hand dissmissivly, it's nothing a spot of psyciatric therapy would fix.
"Are you saying that you'd have me murdered?" Kyzburg said surprised,
"Oh come on now, multiple personality disorder isn't normal and Drakes stuck in there with you lot."
"Us lot? My good man, we have feelings as well you know."
Gee sighed, "Von Tony?"
"Yes, see, at least you recognise we're different."
"Yeah because you all use different accents... thankfully I don't have to listen to the stupid German one that often."
"Anyway," continued Kyzburg taking control of "his" shared body once more, "Let us get prepared, let's drag this machine of mine to my office so I can prepare for my lessons, then you can go to whatever class you have now."
"What are you teaching?"
"Misc."
"Misc.?"
"Yep, oh and situational comedy."
"Comedy?"
"I'm joking you fool, i'll be teaching them how to act in a variety of situations these young students may come across."
"Can I ask you a question?"
"Sure.
"Why is it, that i'm one year older than you, and yet your the teacher?"
"Simple, i'm a fully qualified evil genius, recognised as a menace in seven solar systems, three diemensions, four organisations and London city; you are merely an apprentice. Now shush and use whatever anomalous injection I gave you last week to move this box."

With that Kyzburg pinned a button to his coat which read, "Prof. Steven Kyzburg", he then went to help his long suffering friend to push his time machine to his office.

1) There was a circle or line of salt that required NOT to be removed. It was odd but thinking of demonology, demons were going to be involved somehow.

2) Delphina was standing in the back of the room. It sort of made him nervous but yet he was able to hide it as he curiously made his way to his desk. He was going to treat it like she was part of the class.

3)...3? There is no 3.

After a few minutes of screching as Gee and Kyzburg pushed their time machine down the corridor they passed Professor Templar's class; thankfully by this time however Kyzburg had managed to get Gee's psycic abilities going allowing him to wrap the machine in a bubble of zero gravity, hence why the peace was no longer being disturbed by them. As they got to the outside of the classroom Gee tentativly peered in he had every reason to be somewhat apprehensive, he imagined the entire place t be filled with screaming mean children who had been created in test tubes out of evil ovaries of Hillary Clinton herself; unfortunatly he only got a two second glimpse before Kyzburg pushed him into the Demonology class room.

Lingering akwardly by the door Kyzburg simply said, "Everyone Gee, Gee everyone, be nice." And dissapeared to pushing the machine to his office whilst skipping down the corridor. Gee's pale face flushed in embarressment as he slid into a chair to await the lessons start.

"Hey, whatup, Gee?"

Sareau groaned and rolled his eyes as Marcus giggled silently, raising an open book to hide his response-more from Sareau than the rest of the class, his ice-blue, near-silver eyes dancing as he appraised Mathieu.

For an individual whose codename was "Blue Knight", Mathieu was not a typical wannabe cop-Sareau refered to him as a player when describing him to Marcus, and mentioned in passing that the boy might be troublesome.

Goltia and Josh were sitting close by, the twins showing seperate demeanors, Goltia more outgoing, Josh more reserved. Sareau's briefing didn't say much about them-Josh was too shy and retiring, and Goltia too new-idly, Marcus looked over her, his eyes noting the curve of her leg with a certain admiration when Josh lookedover and Marcus straightened up, focussing on Prof. Templar.

Sareau took it in, his thoughts dwelling on the translation 367 had provided him with. His mind played over the history of the dreaded Nephren-Ka, the Black Pharoah whose tomb was unremarked, his reign hidden in one of the many history purges enacted when the priesthoods of ancient Khem had indulged in things they'd rather not remember.

Nephren-Ka was cursed upon his burial, but his cult still walked the nights of Cairo, it's dark web of intrigue and terror binding the Nile Valley and all within. That magician who'd claimed to uncover the fell cultists as they gathered in dark and secret places-"In the Tombs of the Pharoahs", as he'd called the piece he'd published-and he had apparently stumbled upon that fell cult and witnessed their dark rites, performed by beast-headed men.

He had walked beneath the chambers of the Sphinx there, as well. The cult must still flourish, in which case there would be reports, in either the files of the Order of Annilla or among Kargg's Sons. While Annilla held her secrets dear, Karrg's Sons were prone to drink, and babble on if one had an ear to listen...

"Welcome to Demonology. Quite possibly one of, if not THE, most dangerous class you will ever take. Why? Because of what we are studying. Demon's are nasty things. They don't need a reason to kill you, they just will. Now, to explain the rules. The first three rules, if you do not follow them, will get you killed! why? Because, 1): Sand is the medium through which most demons enter our world. 2): Anything religious will act as a big 'come and kill me' sign. and 3): That salt line is there to stop demons getting at you. They can't cross it. You can. So stay behind it. As for the 4th rule, well...Just don't touch the sword or the Box. Anyway, today, I'm going start with a goody: Your first demon. I want you to take notes as to want the demon looks like, how it moves, and how it reacts to different things, am i clear?"

Professor Templar then grabbed a piece of chalk and walked into the middle of the salt circle and waited for the students to get their books out.

Sareau puled out the book for this class, but was really thinking about how to best wring information out of Karrg's Sons, if the truth be told. His upbringing by a hoary sorceror accomplished in multiple paradigms had prepared him for this class, as was the fact his sire was one of the Kings of Edom, who had been classified "demon" by experts in the field.

He was grateful his mask hid his smirk, as much of the professor's guidelines were only true of certain demons, not all. The Hounds of Tindalos would ignore the salt entirely, instead manifesting out of any angle particular to their own traverse of Reality. And while some demons would target religious items, it was the Faith behind such items that was truly abhorrent to the creatures, and Faith could not be tucked away casually.

He determined to pay close attention, however-the demons were as many and variegated as any race, and each type must have it's own rules of engagement...

Gee cursed silently whilst fixing a weak smile onto his face, thankfully however a techer proceeded to bellow at them thus sparing him the trauma of having to talk to his fellow classmates immediatly. Slipping into a seat he listened to the teacher with a blank face, although as Professor Templar's little speech proceeded he could feel disbelief pulling at the corners of his mouth, he fought the impulses to smirk and instead frowned. He found the whole salt and Demon thing rather Medieval, indeed, the very concept of transdiemensional beings who existed in bizzarre realms of their own being unable to cross a line of sort was something verging on the ridiculous. Still, if it worked it worked, after all, he was pumped up on genetic enhancements through methods that were supposed to be nigh impossible; and yet here he was.

Templar waited for the class to do what he said, then finished the pentagram by drawing in the last line. He then walked back to his desk, grabbed his sword, brought it to the pentagram, placed it in the middle of it. He then leant over the sword and cut his hand. He then squeezed blood out of the cut, muttering:"Come on....Come and get the tasty half breed..."
He didn't have to wait very long, as a black and grey shape leaped out of the now-glowing pentagram and lashed out at Templar with a giant sickle. Rolling out of the way of the attack, he grabbed the sword out of the pentagram, which instantly stopped glowing. Circling the demon, he said:"This is Hell Pride. Say hi to the class, Pride." The demon replied with a inhuman screech."Anyway, he is the weakest of the demons. He is the jailer for those sent to hell for the sin of pride." What he was going to say next was cut off as the demon lunged forward and slashed at him again. Diving out of the way, he continued:"Pride is pretty slow. He's not the slowest of the demons, but hes pretty high on the slowness list. They prefer surprise attacks, which is why i disabled the pentagram as soon as this one came through. It's not nice being stabbed by 5 of these guys. At the same time. Anway, thats about enough for now. Hes getting on my nerves." Sareau arched an eyebrow. "It's coloration-given it's preference for sneak attacks, i would assume it's from one of the Twilight Hells-those darker realms with adequate light but not the total darkness of other Hells."

Hells were a dime a dozen-about the only certainty to them was their being places of imprisonment for those unfortunate enough to wander there, and all the jailers taking bribes whether they acted on the bribe or not. If the creature punished Pride, it would either have a psychic component this brief encounter left no time for or it had other abilities.

Marcus stared-although raised in the orphanages of the Xiola Umbari, they had never called up anything like that-but the Xiola Umbari were healers, and their spirits of preference of a different sort entirely. "Oh crap...Sorry, if you have any question, you can come up and ask. Already read that anyway,"said Templar, shutting his book and putting it in a drawer.

Meanwhile, Josh, Grace, and Goltia decided to amuse themselves with a game of Hangman, before getting bored and making it a x-rated game of hangman.

Mathieu's eye wandered to the game, though his question made him go up to Professor Templar's desk.

"Sir...the way you describe Hell...is it really like that? I mean, it sounds sorta like Dante's Inferno..." he amended.

"Hell is a interesting place,"said Templar, thinking."What it looks like depends on what ring of it your in. There is a fiery hell, but that one i haven't been to. The farthest i've been in is about the second ring, and i have to say, that place was freaky. I mean, come on, the floor was made of dried blood." Shaking his head, Templar then said:"Sorry kid, if you want someone to describe Hell to you, then your outta luck. The people who know the most about the place are the people stuck down there. But i can tell yah: From what i've seen, you do not want to go there."

"I could imagine not," Mathieu answered. "Um...thanks, Professor," he said, bowing his head a bit as he headed back.

"So, how's this work?" he asked, sitting down next to Goltia.

Blackett, Rathma and 367

"So what do you have installed for the students when they appear?" Blackett asked Rathma as 367 was getting ready to open up into a hologram device.

"Nothing too bad," smiled Rathma. "I'm going to give them a free open lesson in either preventing or helping to commit an assassination," replied Rathma as he fiddled with 367's computer for a moment. "I heard Maverick tried once but that ended in failure because the students weren't ready for it,"

"What about Lucus?" Blackett asked him. "From what I heard, the students are slowly beginning to use him for information. If he knows anything about the assassination, he'll make it easier for them,"

"That's true," replied Rathma as he finally entered the files he needed for the next lesson. "That's why I'm going to put in a sealed role," he stated as Blackett looked confused at him. "Basically, he's going to be taking a role as a Ranger (Ranger=Lynion Regulars) stationed in Glasgow. I'm going to give him strict instructions and he should follow them,"

"Makes sense," smiled Blackett as the file started to download. "What about yourself?" Blackett asked him curiously. "Won't they ask your past self about the assassination?" he added as Rathma looked up at him before turning around to face him.

"They won't need me," he answered firmly. "Nevertheless, even if they want my help, how can they identify me if they only seen me in werewolf form?" he asked with a smile. "I wasn't half cyborg when the assassination occured mate,"

Lucus

Lucus found the class bored as he started to draw something in his notebook. The demon was pointless and the class seemed pointless to himself as he contiuned to draw something. He looked around for a moment before realising Delphina was still in the room. It didn't bother him since he hid the secert relationship he had with her.

'I wander if anyone can hear my thoughts?' he wondered for a moment as he was trying to figure out who would and who wouldn't.

Sareau nodded before raising a hand. "You mentioned 'rings'-I take it then, you will be familiarizing us with Dante's hells? Christians, Muslims, and Buddhists had vastly different concepts, aand when you kick in non-Hell realms, like the morass of Celtic otherworlds, you open up a multitude of demonic entities-the Sluagh who infest the skies of Scotland are vastly different from the ancient Fomors who still ravage unhappy corners of the globe.

"Now, assuming some Demon of Pride manifested, how would we go about ridding ourselves of it? Do they have any particular anathemae? Rosemary, sacred ground, stuff like that? Can they cross running water? Is cold-wrought iron or silver particularily grievous to them? Can Elder, Ash, and Thorn aid or hinder them? What effect churchbells or turning clothes?"

Marcus leaned over to Mathieu, whispering: "Leave it to him to ruin free time." with a heavy sigh...

"Holy water works,"said Templar matter-of-factly."I also find that shooting the damn things seems to kill 'em quick. I've had to fight an army of those things in a river once. Churchbells piss the damn things off. Same with damn near ever form of religious item, except Holy Water. For some reason that stuff kills most demons. The only good thing thats come out of that religion. Oh, and they can't walk on sacred ground. Not that it matters, since some demons can hover or fly."

"...right," Mathieu rolled his eyes. God help him, sometimes Sareau got on Mathieu's nerves.

Gee was more or less completely unflustered by Templars erratic behaviour, he was used to such unprecedented insanity emenating from most people. He dutifully copied down down the notes before gazing around at the class to see what they were doing; doodiling stick men with large aprehensile dicksfrom the looks of it. He tappe idly at his laptop, discovering that the internet wasn't working; no big surprise there, he supposed Kyzburg would hijack a sattellite at some point. Speaking of Kyzburg...

He navigated to the usual instant messaging program he had installed, booting it up he found that the only contact in range was, of course, his good old psycotic friend. He opened a window and found that although it was set to idle the web camera was on, he frowned as he watched his soon to be teacher drag pieces of furniture across the room and drag thick copper wires in between the tables; it was only then that he noticed the time machine at the edge of the classroom just sticking out the side of his video feed. Ignoring the goings on in his surrounding class he nearly jumped out of his skin as the video suddenly went white with a flash of sorts and a screaming mechanical bang roared out his speakers. Freaking out he slammed his fist down onto the mute button.

"What the frak was that?!" said Josh, Goltia and Grace at the same time, all three of them looking over at Gee.

Professor Templar, who more often then not faced down things that made much louder noises then that, didn't even look up for what he was now writing, which was a somewhat rough timetable of his classes and what they were going to do in them.

"Errrrrr... video feed..." Gee mumbled slightly as he frowned at the video feed, he composed his thoughts somewhat wondering how best to phrase it. Then he came to the somewhat miraculous realisation that most of his fellow students probably came from the same bizzarre and disturbing background he did; hence he could probably say what we wanted. "That was one of our profesors, if we're lucky he was making a cup of tea, if not, i'd say he's setting up a lesson of sorts..."

Lucus glanced about for a moment around the classroom and noticed how bored everyone was. How the teacher had ended class and he just realised that meant he can slip out to the next class. It didn't require a genius to figure it out. Lucus filed his spare notes into his notebook as he raised his hand.

'Might as well go,' thought Lucus to himself as he left the classroom and headed towards the arena. Maybe there he could find peace with himself. As he walked through the hallways, he got a message from Professor Phoenix requiring his urgent audience in the arena before the class started.

Sareau phased out-there were things below needed tending, and Power Handling would be fine without him. He usually used the class to forward his own schemes anyway, and leaving Marcus behind would give him eyes and ears there. A slight nod was met with a thumb's-up, and Marcus gathered his things.

"So, where's the next class?"

"What kinda tea is that?" Mathieu chuckled at Gee's explanation. He glanced and saw Lucus leave, "Hey guys," he turned to the siblings and Grace, "Should we leave too?"
