As for insurgencies: Uh, I'd say that worse insurgencies have taken place outside of the Middle East. One happened in America back in 1776 against the British rulers, and it was successful. I could take Peru, but I'd probaly need Carlo or Kamp or Candistan to take Cyprus if I do, otherwise I'll be swamped...

No its not going to be, Ill go with a year refit. Since it has to go under a major refit. But i already have a carrier in the area.

Yup; your looking at a year and half; Most of my Carriers won't be operational til mid 08 and I bought them back in Febuary 07 time; the Constie was Crash Refited with round the clock work to get it operational in 6 months and didn't actually need that much work on it; once the other two Carriers become operational its going in for a more extensive work up too.

I don't know about Granate... the thread had been sitting there for a few days so AB asked me to do it last night... and I had a real nice post about 2/3s of the way done... and then my computer decided to shut down. So I'm starting it all over again now.

Oh, and no worries. I won't be just rolling over and playing dead. They haven't even hit some of my most critical components yet, and NK has the "densest air defense system in the world" according to globalsecurity.org. It should be a fun time.

No musts, but make sure you follow the "RL guidelines" on the front page as to regarding Tech, People, Land, GDP, and whatever the last one I said was...

Besides that, have at it, though try to keep some of the other factors (not the five I mention) close to your NS nation...we can have a few that are not NS-close (ie, DP and Candistan), but if we have too many we're going to attract mod attention, which is why a bunch of us use our NS names and histories/people (ie, Animarnia, Granate, Kamp, and me)

He forgot to mention that Peru also has nations contacting them willing to offer material, military, and other help. They have no reason to give in when world opinion is generally on their side and they can receive help from nations such as Waldenburg and the Federation's OCIO.

Peru doesn't have to join with you to prosper. Hell it's already got a economy better then Bolivia and Paraguay, two nations that make up your nation apart from Brazil.

And on Argentina and Venezuala; that makes them even more of a threat, because they are stronger. Hell, all Peru would have to do is ally itself to one of them and suddenly your fucked.

I think it all starts to die when people say it is. Earths are meant to be fun, so if people don't want to post for a day or two no need to start exclaiming that it's going to die, maybe they just want to do something else. The one earth I've been in that did last (well, until the rules came in) called ESS was far more relaxed, and slowed down in activity but didn't die. Personally, not a go at you, but people saying "this is gonna die" and rushing things annoys me slightly.

The problems about Earth Rps is when we invite too many people, they become inactive, and hard to control...

With nominal GDP in use, it is highly unlikely any African nation is going to become a superpower. :p Unless they invade richer land, which in this polarized world were most have a side or are powerful enough not too have to, will also be hard.

Franco is currently ruled by Social Democrats, and therefore slightly left-leaning, but I wouldn't call myself very strong, and I highly doubt I'd want to be part of some Communist Alliance (that's just me guessing on what your doing...).

It's unlikely it'll see much action, might be a ceremonial sign of my support, as you should be able to handle the navy at least yourself). I resent that; China's new stuff is actually pretty decent which is why I've been phasing out all the ex Soviet stuff and already transfered a lot of it to the national guard which is scheduled to be down sized; China's problem is the sheer vastness of different models which gives a bit of a logistical nightmare but like I said; I'm working on that

I randomly switched topics at the end completely to the original, none of the upgrades or other models, simply taking a slash at soviet equipment is general. As for Europe they may become a tad vexed when you double (No idea about the actual sizes) your size on the European continent without being in their secret club. Again we shall have to see.
