Official Emirate reports coming from Khartoum have acknowledged formal commencement of hostilies against Asherton forces. Limited special ops teams have begun to permeate the border, while airstrikes on Asherton have begun to soften Asherton forces there. A major thrust by Emirate forces into Asherton territory has begun along the Red Sea Coast, with the major objective being Djibouti. The offensive is expected to run into the majority of Sistan's remnant forces in Asherton territory. Additionally, the ALM fleet has begun a general blockade of Asherton ports and routes. The Emirate maintains that these operations will not inhibit local trading routes, although we further maintain that ships passing must be cautious. If any civilian vessels passing require escorts, they may contact the local command and secure a small flotilla to accompany them.
While combat operations have commenced in Asherton territory, the Emirate further insists that its major operations there will not conflict with Emirate priorities in the main Sistani territory. An assault on Bandar Abbas is expected within the next months, as preparation has been fully effected and the amphibious forces have practiced their exercises extensively, such that the local command has deemed their state to be fit for a successful campaign. Military targets continue to be monitored and shelled from aerial and naval strikes.
In addition, Emirate forces in Sudan - separate from those participating in the Asherton campaign - have commenced military operations to topple the Chad and CAR armed forces. The majority of the push is directed into Chad, where the majority of their infractions have been based. The Emrate issued a statement to the respective governments that the Emirate is not maintaining its interests in toppling the local governments, although any fierce resistance to Emirate forces will not be tolerated, as has been already tolerated by the numerous incursions in the past year.
A summary of Emirate forces being committed:
Army Group 6 [Khartoum] = 100,000 - in Asherton {120,000}
Army Group 3 [Aswan] = 40,000 - in Chad/CAR {25,000}
Army Group 7 [Dubai] = 50,000 (+30,000 from Tripoli) - in Hormozgan

Our government has been monitoring your situation in relation to the C.S.A. on the turnover of your territory in the new world. We would like to inform you that, such you require it. My government can make at your disposal some of our aircraft and ships for your use in transporting your men and material to whatever destination that shall want.
Do be aware though that, due to our continue commitment in South America, the amount of material we can transport for you will be limited. We can spare for a few days or up to a week a few AN-124 Condors, some C-17's and a few other types of transport aircraft like C-160's and CASA 295's. We also can spare one or two of our Rotterdam Class LPDs.

Expect a Sharinan response to the Military Command withdrawal of men from Michigan and Ohio, but I cannot post on Jolt regularly because Jolt is being extremely retarded the past couple of weeks.
So when I'm able to post lengthy RP posts, then I will do so. Plus, it depends on whether war declarations occur before, during, or after the 100% withdrawal of Military Command troops and stuff. Again, this can't happen until Jolt stabilizes as the various RP'ers may not be able to post what needs to be RP'ed or posted in the meanwhile.

While his majesty to most pleased to see that your government is willing to consult with the Emirate, we have little need to involve any other outside player than the RSA, as it was the state of Asherton that declared war upon the RSA, and as such it is the RSA's responsibility and obligation to neutralize this threat. This has been continuing since before Sistan fell into anarchy, and likely their support has dwindled due to this collapse. A few years have passed since the collapse, and with Emirate pressure on the Asherton fleet and ground forces, this will be a quick conflict - although we are not skirting the fact that these forces are overzealous radicals of Islamic-oriented extremism, which itself presents another unique threat to Emirate interests.
We appreciate the offer once again, but we must decline on account of our already present support from the RSA, and likewise, we don't feel that we could righteously tie down your troops in a conflict here, as the commitment would be long and difficult to manage.

SIC reply: It's more a matter of foreign involvement in Emirate affairs. We do not want to become entangled in your affairs, as much as we are certain that you would not want to become entangled in ours. Reciprocity works for us. SIC: to Sharina: The Emirate inquires if sending our Minister of Foreign Affairs [Muhammad Ibn-Abd al-Qadir] to Sharina for mutual discussions on the alleviation of the crisis in America and other important matters that should arise.
IC general: The Emirate has announced a surprise visit by the Prime Minister to Warta Endor. What he is doing there is unknown at the moment - we'll keep you updated. Great Romeo
06-10-2006, 01:22
Sharina flatly rejects Great Romeo's demands.
Sharina points out that the massive numbers of tanks could easily be used to slam into Panama and Colombia along with a Netherland and Dweladelfinian force. This tactical situation shall and will not be allowed.
In addition, Great Romeo is clearly threatening Sharinan interests in the Americas. If Great Romeo proceeds in their attempt to land troops and tanks within Costa Rica, it will be constituted as a declaration of war aganist Sharina and shall be responded to accordingly.
You claim "mutual destruction" with these tanks and troops. We laugh at that hollow threat as we are fully capable of inflicting far more destruction than you are able to. We do not seek to inflict destruction, but we shall bring destruction to those who actively seek it. We never have and never will be cowed by threats from any terrorist, nation, person, or entity. Once the dust settles, it will be Sharina and her allies who shall stand up proud amid the ruins of its enemies who seek to destroy stability and peace.
-----------------------------------
OOC:
Making makeshift armor on the front hulls of your heavy ships while you are out at sea would be a moumentual and extremely difficult task. If it were done in drydock or even a regular naval yard, then it could be done so quickly and efficiently.
You simply don't have enough spare material on your ships to reinforce your hulls unless you tear off other ship components like guns, side + rear hull armor plating, interior metal, and so on. Plus this effort would take a lot of time and effort. Its not exactly a 1-day job, ya know.
Consquently if you do this, your ship's structure or strength will be diminished.
"We laugh at that hollow threat as we are fully capable of inflicting far more destruction than you are able to; we have the nuclear capabilities to vaporize all major cities in the United States of America. We do not seek to inflict destruction, but we shall bring destruction to those who actively seek it. We never have and never will be cowed by threats from any terrorist, nation, person, or entity. Once the dust settles, it will be Great Romeo and his allies who shall stand up proud amid the ruins of its enemies who seek to destroy stability and peace." -Senate Foreign Affairs Committee (OOC: Yes, they plagarize freely... :p)
The convoy halted after it was about 50nm to the illegal Sharinian blockade of Costa Rican territorial waters. The commander aboard the flagship had watched old A-Team reruns with Serbian subtitles, consequently deciding to turn the cargo artillery and anti-aircraft systems into a makeshift weapons system on the civilian ships. Some aircraft were also observed being transfered by the civilian cargo ship's crane to the aircraft carrier's deck.

General Broadfleet's 2nd Army of Kentucky was beginning to get into fighting shape. 100,000 + troops in priority 1 reserve were being activated to move into Ohio. As soon as word came from Houston, the lead elements of the force began to move. Other units in Indiana were also moving into Ohio, whilst a substantial part of the Kentucky 1st and 2nd armies stayed on Confederate soil ready to move if anything went wrong.
The land deal had burnt a hole in the Confederate treasury's pocket, and the Technocracy were clearly disgruntled at the development, but this opportunity had been too good for President Sickles to pass by. Transports were being arranged for Military Command troops to be flown back to EATO territory gradually as the Confederates took over. Two more states to join the Confederacy, the jewel in the crown of which was Detroit - an industrial treasure which was the target for much of the forces to be projected into Ohio and Michigan.

Emirate forces have commenced ground operations against Sistani forces entrenched in Bandar Abbas. The initial strike was hard-fought, which intense fighting under inhuman conditions at times. The Command suggested that any future amphibious landings be done after serious consideration for a successful strike had been achieved.
The beachhead, established about 15 km east of the major urban areas failed to extend its reach, but the established ground was deemed sufficient to provide a base of supply and opeeraions until a better location could be attained. At the moment, 20000 troops have begun operations, with the remaining forces arrived soon thereafter. Sistani numbers are unknown but expected to number over 50,000 at the moment. Reinforcements might arrive, although Emirate bombardment has limited the amount of effective infrastructure leading into the provincial areas.
Casualties have not been tallied, but unofficial reports suggest that the landing force [10,000] suffered at least 4,000 casualties, with a significant portion KIA. Once the Command assumes operations on the territory, Emirate news and services can then be introduced to reveal the nature behind the war in Hormozgan.

South Africa is pleased to annouce that her first Black president has ascended to power in Cape town today. The elections went as predicted as the white minority gradually relinquished a large degree of power in Landslide elections across the entire nation.
Security was tense during the 2 month general elections with some rioting in Pretoria , Johannesburg and even Harare with hardline white supremicist groups who are adamant that even contemplating a compromise with other ethnicities constituted a from of treason.
Casualties were inevitable during the rioting with atleast 100 people killed during the 2 month multi racial elections.

ALM forces have opened another beachfront - a more successful venture, taking the mishaps of the first landing. The second landing - only 10km to the west - was done under urban conditions, and the few ports and beaches were seized quickly. The relative position of the landing made it difficult for the enemy to defend the front without sustaining heavy casualties, which they did. Emirate casualties numbered only 1500, with the majority being KIA. ALM forces have landed at least 50,000 troops, having sustained 7000 casualties. An additional 30,000 troops are expected to land at the second site to push for a breakout, while the first site is holding its position only to tie down enemy combatants. Urban combat is likely to play a major role in the upcoming fight, in which ALM forces have been trained to an extreme for this moment.
Emirate progresses in Chad and CAR have yielded few tangible results. However, after the Emirate secured the Chadian government in N'Djamena, a treaty of rectification was signed and now places the state of Chad under the official responsibility of the Emirate government. As such, the remnant Chadian forces in the north are now considered officially renegades of the Chad government, who has ordered them to turn their weapons in or else face charges of treason. It is unlikely that these demands will be met, leading to a battle in the north of the territory. OOC: I think you're warfighters drank a little too much last night. :D Our convoy is at a dead standstill, the outer portion (Lada class submarines and Akula-II class submarines) 50nm away from the blockade, remember?
I was going to ask anyway... what is the exact make up of this blockade?
IC (to happen an hour before the blockade running post):
All the aircraft on the aircraft carrier were up in the air now, only landing periodically to refuel. In addition, all the aircraft transferred or in the process of being transferred from the civilian ships would be in the air by 5 minutes before the attempt.
Secret IC:
A secret message was sent to Vineyard:
We need to arrange a meeting over the current affairs in America.
OOC:
Sharina has been keeping track of the entire convoy the whole time since it set sail in the Atlantic, but my ships next to Costa Rica detected the convoy on their RADAR (independent of Sharina's sensor network) and the ships now have the ability to see the convoy even if Sharina's satellites and such are taken away from the theatre of battle.
My makeup of the blockade is comprised of my 2 major Pacific Fleets, plus 1 Fast Attack task force (submarine task force).
4 Iowa class Battleships
8 Montana class Battleships
12 Nimitz Supercarriers
20 AEGIS cruisers
40 Arleigh Burke destroyers
25 Virginia attack submarines
Usually 10 to 15 ballistic subs are deployed per "Fast Attack" task force but currently my Fast Attack task force involved in the blockade has its ballistic subs elsewhere.
A typical Sharinan Navy Fleet has the following numbers:
2 Iowa class Battleships
4 Montana class Battleships
6 Nimitz Supercarriers
20 AEGIS cruisers
40 Arleigh Burke destroyers
And I have 5 such fleets situated around the world- usually 2 in the Pacific and 2 in the Atlantic and 1 in the Caribbean (Based in the Caribbean if not needed in the Pacific or Atlantic).
Sharina has 4 Fast Attack submarine fleets as well. Fast Attack 1 is involved in the blockade, while Fast Attack 2 is elsewhere in the Pacific. Fast Attack 3 and 4 are in the Atlantic. I usually divide my naval forces between the two major oceans to protect both my coastlines.

[Secret IC, but if you don't realize that you don't deserve to be able to read this in the first place.]
Premier Navarbayevs looked up at the uniformed man standing in his office. “You may come in, ah…., General.” Setting down the dossier he had been studying, the Premier mentally shook himself and turned from the business of reading up on troop deployments throughout the UARCA to his visitor. A visitor in a General’s uniform. “What can I do for you, General…”
“Litvinoff, Sir. Maxim Litvinoff. Special Weapons Department”
That statement caused Navarbayev’s head to jerk slightly. Special Weapons had just been responsible for the demonstration to the world and it was certain that a visit by their commanding officer would bring some important news his way. “A pleasure, General. Now, what do our friends in SW have for us here in Tashkent?”
Livitinoff gave a chilling smile. “I trust you’ll be most pleased. With near-constant work and aid from some Indian advisors, we’ve successfully completed every phase of Operation 17. I have with me the documentation outlining the types of weaponry now available, though numbers remain as usual accessible only through Strategic Command. I’m quite proud of our team, really- we have every one of the agents we found or were aided with in production and stockpiling already. Large amounts for some items.”
“Thank you General. Your tireless dedication is most appreciated by the people of the UARCA.”
He rose, shaking Premier Navarbayevs’ hand. “As long as our dedication is rewarded- they’re ready for use now.” Upon this chilling announcement, he left the room after saluting.
Navarbayevs was disgusted as he skimmed the report. “That insane little man…” he muttered to himself. “Why do such men always run the most dangerous lines of the military?”

SharTac Command
Somewhere in Idaho
A feminine figure stared at the screen displaying the Bering Strait and a large red circle around the outpost of Uelen. Several figures denote thousands of enemy fighters, bombers, infantry, and assorted military equipment. The woman laughed.
"Damn fools."
She turned towards a smaller computer in front of her and began inputting commands. The map on the larger screen began to respond to the commands as several yellow Sharinan symbols began appearing. Several aircraft and cruise missile symbols popped up across Alaska, having been deployed several weeks earlier.
Several missile vectors extends into Uelen, while others extend behind Uelen. Similiar vectors are seen for the aircraft as well.
The woman pressed a key, and the plans were transmitted to Sharinan bases, commanders, and generals in Alaska to initate the operation aganist a possible Romeoian invasion of Alaska.
The woman shook her head, and a predatory smile spread across her attractive rosy red lips.
"There shall be no romancing this Juliet."

The sterile and bland control room was shrouded in darkness, illuminated only by the glows of computers and the emergency lights. Action had been frenzied, but now had slowed down to a standstill as everyone, from the lowliest controllers to the highest ranking gnereals, from the night-shift commander of the guards to the Premier of the UARCA watched the screens. A monotonous voice intoned a countdown.
...7...6....5....4....3....2....1....Liftoff. We have liftoff
The room erupted in cheers as the main screen lit up with a fiery blast. Other monitors could be seen showing the sight of a missile rising into the air, while computers logged and tracked its path and other relevant data to be displayed on a smaller screen directly below the main.
Later reports would show the test was a success- a missile had been fired from what was basically one end of the UARCA to another. But that was for later- now was a time for celebrating and the entire room erupted into cheers and hugs.
UARCA News Release
At 0300 hours yesterday, the United Autonomous Republics of Central Asia successfully tested a long-range missile. The UARCA apologizes for any alarm this may have caused foreign nations- the test was entirely peaceful and merely to test relevant technical skills required for use of space equipment within the UARCA. The UARCA firmly stands for peace and hopes that all nations in the region feel the same.
[OOC- What did you see: If you have the leet skills techincally, you saw a missile launch detected in an area one wouldn't expect missiles to be launched from, with a flight path that wasn't targeted at any of you, heading from one end of the UARCA to another. Missile! Zoom!
No real cause for alarm or anything- just something out of the ordinary your militaries would know about if you have the capabilities.]

The Emirate has declared the city of Bandar Abbas to be effectively under military control. While the majority of the outskirts are still heavily contested, Emirate forces seizing the province of Hormozgan have succeeded in acquiring the primary military target. As per the usual custom, Emirate government officials have been swarming over into the city, to institute order and services of the Emirate, although it has been noted in recent times that the government itself is under pressure, due to the significant advances of the past four years. Having completed half-way their missions in the UAE and Qatar, Emirate government forces are considering a military moratorium, to allow the Emirate to conclude its business, although military commanders strongly oppose this action, as it would be "strategically unsound to allow extremists time to recuperate from their losses." Nonetheless, the Emirate has been wary of the importance to establish a function civil society as soon as the old one collapses, and the Emirate government has been pushing for volunteers from Egypt and Libya to help the government establish basic services in these regions.
The casualty reports have been unusually high, but nonetheless impressive - considering the history of Emirate combat against Sistani forces.
ALM - 8326 [of 80,000]
Sistan - 25,000 [of unknown numbers, but likely in excess 100,000]
Owing to the particular nature of the campaign, the General Staff has order an additional 50,000 troops to recruited this next session. Equipment for these troops will procured as soon as possible.

The F-26 programme, the $70 Billion+ Confederate attempt to build an aircraft that would rival the F-22 today showed signs of progress. Today at Barksdale Army Air Force Base, the F-26 prototype achieved subsonic flight. The true capabilities of the aircraft are as of yet unknown, however missiles matching the AIM-9X and AIM-120 were seen being carried underwing.
It will be several years yet before the plane is ready for combat delivery, and even then, initial production will be slow, however the project is showing promise.

-Athens, Greece-
Imperial Guardsmen and Albanian Reserve Troops traveling in columns edged down a street, their gas masks tied securly around their faces as a pinkish mist sorrounds them. Bodies litter the streets from the gassing of the city. The gas, merely ment to knock out the populace, was a new and exparamental tatic in the Imperial Guard's arsenal, where they roamed the streets as gas was being continuiously pumped into the atmosphere to kill any Greek Soldiers still living. Sure, killing them while they were passed out was unhonorable, but it sure made the battle much more cheap -man power wise. Instead of launching waves of infantry assults or annhiliating the very infastructure, the Imperial Guard elected to use the gas on this monumental city, primarily to preserve its history.
::Aaaargh!::
Towards the rear, a gaunt looking military man came out of an ally firing, only to stumble on a curb after wounding an Imperial guardsman.
::Soldier! Keep your mask on!::
An officer shouted into his gasmask as he approached the wounder soldier who was clawing at his gas-mask. Damn reservists. He turned towards the Greke soldier who lay against the curb now, struggling to heave himself up. Strong bastard. The officer entered an entire clip into the hapless soldier.
::Lutenient, this is Commander. What is your status?::
The officer stopped in his tracks, waving to his men to stop and clear an adjacent building, then to set up a defencive position in the building. it is ere he planned to be able to discuss the situation with his commander.
A minute passed, and the officer finally replied once he was by himself in a remote room in the building.
::Sparadic resistance, the effects of the gas seems to be wearing off.::
::Ehh, damn scientists. We will have a word with them regarding the longitivity of their gas. Any wounded?::
::One sir. He is being taken care of as we speak.:: The officer said, while glancing around the corner at the wounded reservist as an Imperial Guards medic tended to his wounds on what appeared to be a dining table. The officer walked back into the room.
::Not bad, lutenient! I need you to proceed to Objective 3A immediately. Platoon C had been ambushed. How, by whom, and where we do not know, the only woprds we last heard was.. hang on.. lemme play the clip fer ya.. damn technology...::
::... UNDER ATTACK! THEY ARE EVERYWHERE! NEED REINFORCEMENTS AT MY LOCA::
The commander's voicecrackeled back in again ::I need you to take that base immediately. We think the platoons communications were jammed when we lost communications, but a direct shot to the mask would have severed the connection as well.::
::Aye sir, it shall be done!::
The officer severed the comm link, and returned to his platoons communications channel.
::Alrighty guys, lets get ready to move out!::
Silence.
The officer peered aroud the corner towards the medic and the wounded reservist. They were gone.
The officer pulled out his HK MP-7 PDW, and pointed it around. Approaching the corner, he peered around. Nothing. He looked down. If he had ever known fear in his life, this was one such case. The entire floor was coated with blood. He felt a tingling feeling down towards his abdomen. He sighed, and looked down. Someone had come up from behind him and had stabbed a knife in him. The officer slumped over, feigning death. His assailent pulled out the knife and let the officer hit the floor, then proceeding to sneak upstairs. The officer looke dup as the man snuck up the tairs laughing. The man wipped around, astonishment on his face. The officer then pointed his gun at the enemy, and pulled the trigger. Hisassailent screamed, falling down the stairs as his body was riddled with bullets.
As he struggled to pick himself up, a doven or so of his soldiers ran downstairs. They were talking clearly, but the sound was muffled behind the masks they wore. The enemy had jammed communications.
The officer shook a fist at his men as they helped him off the ground. He looked down at his abdomen. it was much worse than he thought. he was losing blood fast. There was little chance he would make it. He took his sword belt off, and yanked off his mask, clasping the sholder of the soldier closest to him.
"Command orders that we attack Objective 3a. Platoon assigned to take it has failed, their communications jammed. Unknown assailents took them out." The officer said, while gasping for air. He held out his sword.
"Lead on, soldier. Lead with honor!" The soldier nodded, buckled on the sword, and waved the troops on. before he exited the room, he took one last look at his dying officer, and sprinted away.
The officer sat down against a wall. He pulled out a small circular device from a belt pouch, and clicked the shiny green botton in the center, only to be answered by a little beep as the light began to blink. Hopefully, a med-evac team would get his distress signal and rescure him via GPS. If not.. well.. it wasnt as if he was suffering despite his wound, He had been in the service too long. Damn genetic engineering (ooc: The Empire had long ago introduced genetic egineering into the Imperial Guards program, based on a RL disease. Since medical maitnence sosts are high for such people, however, the Empire recently abandoned the practice, with only a handful of Officers above tha age of 50 still retaining the 'curse' as it was known. Mortality rate was extreemly high, but effictiveness in combat even higher. Despite this, respeiients of the Engineering Program often did not report injuries because they didnt know they were there, which later ended up in serious permenant damage.). No pain, no gain the saying went. Well, despite the lack of pain, he had made quite a bit of gain in the 50 years of his life. He smiled at the thought, and faded into darkness.

OOC: Sorry about that. I just realized that I never told some of the newer members here that I have had a Space & Satilite program since... well... I have had it for 1.5 Real Life years now. I should proabably pin a number on how many satilites I have in orbit (Jointly owned by TG6R) in the near future (As soon as I talk with TG6R about the numbers. I have been out of it for awhile, so I dont have any sort of real figure, but I know we have at least 20.), but all it takes is a triangulation to determine ones location on the earth, aka "GPS". And since I am currently allowing the RSA members limited access to my satilites via liason-officers, they also have some access (Vineyardian personnel get priotiry) to such satilites as well.
And no, the satilites are not armed. The nutrality of TG6R protects our joint space program to an much greater extend then the 'space weapons' Sharina posesses. Im not refuting his ability to feild them, I am simply making a statement.

The TG6R-Vineyardian space program is a multi-trillion Mark (or USD, for that matter) project started several decades ago (OOC: August 2005). A total of 100 Quirinus Space Shuttle flights were flown, all launched from the Malé Space Center in the Maldives (although a few missions landed at the Hamburg Space Center in Germany instead of Malé due to weather conditions). Only the first dozen or so were joint Vineyardian missions, due to the dissolution of the Vineyardian Empire. A satellite reconnaissance system was set up, as was a satellite positioning system similar to the EU's planned Galileo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galileo_positioning_system) positioning system.
OOC: The height of the space program was ironically the lowest point of Earth V, which is why there's a serious lack of IC posts regarding the program after the founding and first mission. Moreover, it's a civilian program in TG6R, although it is government-run.

In addition, you state that the troops and transports are not headed towards Costa Rica. If this is actually true, then where are they headed? Sharinan lands? Or prop up EATO forces? Why else would the transports be right outside of Costa Rica if not to dipense their cargo there?

-Athens, greece. Towards the heart of the city-
A regular Put his boot on a greke Soldiers face, who was lying on the ground unconcious. Putting his gun to the mans temple, he fired one shot, effectivly scrambling the mans brains. He lifted his foot off and rejoined his infantry platoon going down the Athenian street. The leaded held up a fist, and everyone kneeled down.
::Alright lads, here it is. About 100 yards in front of us is our objective. Now, the last platoon tasked with taking this Barracks went AWOL, so be on your toes.::
::Roger that.::
::Alrighty, we will be attacking this place as if its defenders were still awake. Despite the gas-attaks we made on the city prior to our offencive, some people attacked the platoon attacking this barracks. You there..:: The officer turned around and pointed to a Guardsman. ::Take three reservists and open fire on their left flank. Just shoot at the compound. I want to see where these maggots are. We will remain over here, and once the enemys positions are found, we will launch our attakck. Understood?::
A chorous of 'Yes Sirs' fills the radio. The officer in front adjusted his mask slightly, then waved his arm to the left. An guardsman taped 3 reservists on theis shoulders and ran to the left, keeping low. The reservists followed suit. The 4 took up position in a corner store, and kneeled down behind the base of a large glass windor, exhibiting empty racks that once held produce. The Guardsman pointed each of the reservists towards a differnet building, and opened fire, the reservists opening fire immdeiately after.
Silence.
The men had emptied their clips, and were reloading them, when 3 plumes of gunfore erupted from a near-by building. The men ducked, but unfortunately for one hapless reservist, the bullets riddled his body before he had time to react. The Guardsman and the 2 remaining Reservists returned fire from behind their positions.
Up ahead, the officer noticed 5 or 6 shadowy figures leaping out of another building and rushing to the one that the Imperial Troops were firing opon. The Officer Drew his sword and screamed a battle cry, as the remaining 5 of his soldiers opened fire. From a distance, it looked like the 6 figurs had been clothes-lined, but in reality they were cut down by the spray of gunfire. The people inside the building noticed, and began to divert fire towards the main group.
::ATTACK! YOU THERE, GIVE ME SOME FUCKING COVER FIRE!::
A reservist nodded, and began to fire at one of the windows where the assailent was firing from. Gunfire ceased. The Officer waved forward 3 of his men, leaving two behind to provide cover fire. RUshing ahead with his attack group, the officer lobbed a grenade at the building, landing it inside the building. He heard muffled cries, as the gernade detonated, blowing out all windows in the compound. They rushed past the barracks gate and kickeddown the door to the compound.
"Flee my leige, flee!" A man in a suit shouted in the building. When the Officer kicked down the door, he slammed the door, pulled out his gun, and began to fire. The officer drew a knife and threw it into the mans throat. He grappled at the knife as he sunk to the floor, dead. The officer moved aside, and waved hisbodyguards, wearing a small gas-mask, Sun glasses, and long black trench coats. He kneeled down towards one, and lifted the coat aside, seeing a badge. He ripped it off... and dropped it.
He heard an explosion behind him. One of his men came around the corner and shouted "Someone escaped through an underground passageway! He just detonated the enterence! Its filled with rubble, we cant get through!"
The officer looked down at the badge once again. It was the Checkered Sheild, with a circle around it with Archaic Croatian writing around it. It read: RPA: Royal Protection Agency. The Guards of the Crown.
-2 Days later-
Three huge pilalrs of smoke rose from Athens, ad the bodies of all Greek Soldiers killed in the "Battle of the Sleeping" as it had been called. The Gas-attack experiment had been a semi-success, although friendly casuilties had gone down, the speed with which the city was taken was comparitivly slow, due to the lack of visibility on the ground. The city had been taken, and all of Greece was now in posession of the Empire!

IC: Forces in Hormozgan have been successful in consolidating Emirate positions in Bandar Abbas, allowing a more effective occupation of the city to transpire. However, the combat in the surrounding country has been brutal - to say the least. Progress has nonetheless been the word of the day and it's been very slow.

The United Autonomous Republics of Central Asia declare their neutrality in all conflicts occurring across the world at this time.
The recent launches from Baikonur Cosmodrome were measures taken to ensure the neutrality and the protection of the Republics- all the launches were peaceful in nature and a number of systems have been placed into orbit, including observation satellites and a number of systerms for the nascent radio satellite navigation system being created by the UARCA known as GLONASS.
As of now, the coverage of meteorlogical, imaging, and GLONASS satellites is unfortunmately only able to be provided to most of Asia, as well as certain areas in North Africa and Europe with any degree of guaranteed reliability. Nonetheless, the majority of the area considered to be under full coverage has over 99.5% availability. The UARCA hopes that this new era of space technology will usher in a new epoch in the history of its glorious peoples and a new era of peace across Asia.

-Italian Front-
Maj. General Zora laid back in her seat as her convoy entered the Mountain CP(Command-Post). Hardly a mere "post" it was its own fortification in its own right. Like all fortifications in the Alps, an underground 'highway leading into the interior of each individual mountain was resently renewed by the 3ed battlegroup and their engineers. The vehicule pulled up in a concrete 'parking garage' in which all the vehiculed, APCs, and tanks available were parked. A narrow slit was at the western end, with a team of Anti-Aircraft TOs at the fortification. They turned around and watched the vehicle pull in, saying something into their radio.
As she got out, a small entorouge of what appeared to be Mayors and Poliece Cheifs basically running to make good time. By the time they reached her, they stoped for a breif second and composed themselves.
"Ma'am, Im Police chief Bonky!" said a rather short and squat man, whilst wringing his hands. His eyes sort of squiggled for a second, but he quickly regained his use of them. His hand squeezed into his pocket, bringing out a glass of lemonade with a piece of lint floating in it. General Zora winced. "Want some lemonade!?" Bonky said, leaning forward and cocking his head to a side, sort of like an over-sized bird.
"Err... no... Ill abstain.." General Zora said, taking a step back. Bonky sighed and jammed the lemonade back into his pocket, some of the lemonade slopping over his pants in the process.
"I have patrols around the mountains to ensure they dont get through." Bonky said, leaning up on his toes then coming back down, his hands being wrung now at an alarming pace. "They are like the mafia!" Bonky said, beaming. He made a gun with his right hand and pointed it very close to Zoras face, squinted an eye, and spat out "Pow!". The Chief smiled.
Zora frowned. "Is that all?"
Bonky beamed. "Nope! I got POLISH Sausage! I imported it from Kazakistan!"
Zora just stared at the man. "You IMPORTED... Sausage, POLISH sausage no less... from Kazakistan!?"
"Yes!"
"You are relieved." Zora said, brushing the awkward man aside. Bonky made a suction noise as he slurped in excess saliva that had congealed around his mouth. He twitched his arm around, almoast as if he was trying to swat a fly, but was really trying to wave his entourage on.
Zora went into the stair-well and began the long ascent to the top. Once she reached the command center, She saw a hologram -the very same one Regent WIndsor was watching- of units in italy. The Eurofighters squadrens of Europe were being mobolized, and the Imperial Fleet was inching back to the Medeteranian. Fortunately, most of the TO units had arrived. Defences of the Fronteir numbered 347,000. 2,000 border guards, whom had retreated to the fortifications, 145,000 TO units, and 200,000 Military Poliece, which had been gradually flown in. The 3rd Battlegroup and all its regiments were streatched along a military highway in Northern Italy. They will be here in time.
"Ma'am, they are comming." an officer towards the center said. The entire room had, at that moment, turned towards her. "Satilite imgaing confirms that most of Military Commands armes are in France and are about to attack. 1st and 2ed Battlegroups have been urged towards Korea in Russia, and the Imperial Fleet is about to pass through Gibraltar. Imperial Guards Units destined for the Middle East have been diverted, and will be here in a few days. All Eurofighter Squadrens have been recalled from Forign Territories to Europe, and all 5,000 active report ready."
"Alrighty. Send message to all units. Im in command. Let get to work!"

Pyongyang, North Korea
During the years since our takeover of North Korea we have changed one of the world's most centrally planned and isolated economies in the world to a viable growing economy. Large-scale military spending cuts have motivated a return of investors to invest in Power Generation Plants & fuel spare parts production which has caused our Industrial capital stock to steadily gain ground. Because of more stable weather conditions, fertilizer assistance from other countries, and an extraordinary mobilization of the population through the use of private farming & private "farmers markets" allowed to begin selling a wider range of goods, farm equipment and fuel to help with agricultural production food shortages & malnutrition are now a thing of the past. Mining, processing and sells of our Natural Resouces like coal, lead, tungsten, zinc, graphite, magnesite, iron ore, copper, gold, pyrites, salt, fluorspar, hydropower is also help the growing economy while it provides commdities for industry. We have also began rebuilding of the countries infrastructure to allow for a better tomorrow.

This is in order. Confederate Army Aviation will provide air cover for your vessels inside the 150m limit. Several submarine units shall also be put to sea to attend to any further security concerns. Our one problem is your plan to dock 6 warships in Norfolk. Unfortunately due to traffic regulation this cannot be done - we shall arrange for the warships to be refuelled, and Confederate vessels will guide cargo ships out of the harbour. The vessels we have turned down for docking in the harbour will be allowed to wait 8 miles out at sea.

The End of Peace
Nations of the world and members of parliament: yesterday, October 15th, 2006 - a date which will live in infamy - the Iberian Netherlands was suddenly and without any cause issued a declaration of war by the nations of the Empire of South Africa and the Empire of Vineyard.
The Iberian Netherlands was at peace with these nations, and, at the solicitation of South Africa, was still in conversation with their Governments working towards the maintenance of peace in Africa, when this unprovoked attack on us came.
It will be recorded that the distance of Africa from the Iberian Netherlands makes it obvious that the attack was deliberately planned many days or even weeks ago. During the intervening time their Governments had deliberately sought to deceive the Iberian Netherlands by false statements and expressions of hope for continued peace.
The declaration of war yesterday on the people of the Iberian Netherlands came without due cause or reason. My Government fully admits our error in invading the sovereign nations of Gabon and Equatorial Guinea, without informing the rest of the world of our intentions. Are only intentions was to overthrow the corrupt governments of Gabon and Equatorial Guinea to give their people a better life. (Pulls out pictures of the poor hungry residents), look at them good- these are the people you are condemning to death for your greed. Haven’t these people suffered enough, haven’t my people suffered enough. Are only intention is to help them build a better life for themselves, most of these people have no running water, very little to eat and hardly any electricity.
Nations of the world, do not support the rogue nations of Vineyard and South Africa and condemn our fellow brothers to more misery then they already have over petty greed. Join us in our Peacekeeping Operation and help us bring peace to these people like we have with our brothers in South America. Together we can maintain peace and improve the lives of all our fellow human beings. Only those who take a stand against the evil nations of the world will survive.
Yesterday the South African Government launched an attack against Madagascar. They also plan on invading the sovereign nation of Congo to kill my citizens, my family, my friends and the citizens of many other countries. These are not the action of peaceful countries.
South Africa and Vineyard has, therefore, undertaken a surprise offensive extending throughout the Africa area. The facts of yesterday and today speak for themselves. The people of the Iberian Netherlands have already formed their opinions and well understand the implications to the very life and safety of our nation.
As Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Navy, I have directed that all measures be taken for our defense.
But always will our whole nation remember the character of the onslaught against us. No matter how long it may take us to overcome this premeditated invasion, the various people of the Republic in their righteous might will win through to absolute victory.
I believe that I interpret the will of the Parliament and of the people when I assert that we will not only defend ourselves to the uttermost but will make it very certain that this form of treachery shall never again endanger us.

ooc: LOL, gotta love how those are SIC. SIC means this: Secret In Character. That means, that if anyone else but the reciepient of the message claims to know anything about that, its godmoding.
You essentially declared war on ME, not vice versa. Sure, you may have declared war knowing that I was about to attack anyway, but IC'ly, there was no way you could have known that.
"But we could see your troop movements!" The only troop movement before you declared was a single division traveling on a dense jungle road deep in the heard of my African territory. And seeing how you lack satilites, there was no way you could have detected such.
SIC:
Regent Windsor frowned as he read the public announcements from United Neatherlands and MC. They both claimed that the Empire had declared war on them! Bah. He pointed towards a certain phrase in MC's argument and ordered an intelegence officer to find out how and why they thought the Empire declared war on them. Those fools. By declaring war on the Empire BEFORE the empire could declare war on them, they should have incurred the wrath of the RSA. This was the true test of the Empires supposed "Allies". Regent Windsor knew all too well that when it came to a nation returning the favor, they would either deny it, or reluctantly do so and commit very little towards war. He ernestly believed that the Empire was essentially on its own.
-Throughout the Empire-
Radios in public squares started to calmly repeat "Purging protocol 11, and 31. Purging Protocol 11 and 31..." Police officers accross the Empire began to round up all the citizens of Military Command and United Neatherlands, bound for two different camps in Croatia. These camps had not seen usage since the foam wars, and the red stain in the center square only betrayed its purpose, its purpose as an execution center. A lone sword stood in a glass case on a concrete pedestal in the center of the square. On it a golden plaque lay. On this plaque was written one word. Retribution.

IC:
(A few hours later after the declaration of war, the Iberian Netherlands put out a message to it's fellow nations of the world.)
It is with a sadden heart that, nations that we once called friends have suddenly found themselves on the war path. We do not support any kind of war, including the one that has developed on the Franco-Italian Border. We only wanted to help our fellow nations of the world. It would seem though that the world does not want peace and to help the less fortunate in this world. As such, we issue this following statement and last appeal to the peaceful nations of the world before our nation too plunges unregrettle into war.
If the nations of Vineyard, South Africa and Military Command will stand down their forces, recall their armies and void their declarations of war. Our government will void our declaration of war and furthermore, we will recall all Royal troops in Western Africa.
We have no joy in going to war and were sorry that the nations of the world have no compassion for their fellow humans. We have accepted this, our people have accepted this. All Nations have 24 hours to reply to this message. In the meantime as a show of good faith, our government will make no aggressive moves towards any nation(s) that want to attack us. We will not stop or fire upon any ship, plane, any other piece of equipment unless we are fired upon first.
If the nations of Military Command, Vineyard and South Africa have not stood down their forces within 24 hours, our declaration of war will be in effect. Until, further notice it is however on a 24 hour delay.

I thought it was GR who did that...
As Emirate positions are beginning to secure the majority of Hormozgan Province, military analysts look to the next best target to secure. Nearly all are in unison as they pinpoint Shiraz - as the major urban center that routes Sistan troops and supplies through the majority of southern Iran, it was a vital position to hold, if the RSA was to make any progressin Iran. Given the limited position in Bandar Abbas, it was expected that the attack would need to have a serious break in order to succeed.

The Emirate has declared the formation of the new Central African Protectorate, a sovereign territory comprising of the former states of Chad and CAR. This move is in an effort to stabilize these long volatile neighbors under a more friendly government that is better able to manage the affairs of its state. The President of the Protectorate will soon be elected once the situation has stabilized. Additionally, 10,000 of their troops in the former regimes have been recruited to maintain order, assisted bby 5000 of the Emirate's troops. These changes will be noted by the end of the year [RL week].

You call your government righteous yet, declar war on my people for no reason. Where is your righteous government now when I offer peace and you continue to beat your chest and play your war drums. You and Vineyard have a simple choice, Military Command has already agreed to stand down his forces. That leaves just you and Vineyard. Regent Windsor laughed. If this so called 'truce' was really what they had made it out to be, moving the 3ed Battlegroup to the front lines would not be noticed--or protested. If it was noticed, it ment that they were not on a 'stand-by' mode and were in fact watching the enemy lines very closely. (The entry-ways to the series of fortifications to the 'front' is underground as RPed, with soldiers fighting out of Bunkers and pillboxes carved into the rock while being connected to the twisting ladybrinth of tunnles between the defences.) Although it is doubtful that they would ever find out that he ordered the 3ed battlegroup to continue their march to the front, he took the necessary precautions. The Empire announced, reather loudly, that they will continue logistical food shipments to the front, as the soldiers there still need to eat, despite their status of 'stand-down' mode.

South African Senate and national assembly meeting, Pretoria..... (hours after the official truce declared by the nations of Iberian Netherlands and South Africa)
Tsalo Tutu looked apprehensively at his cabinet in the first Parliamentary discussion since the official armistice between South Africa and the Iberian Netherlands..
"There are many rogue elements in this cabinet who were and are still baying for Iberian dutch blood". Tsalo addressed the national assembley and the Senate in the lower chambers of Parliament in Pretoria.
This provoked a cacophony of both applause for tsalos accusatory tone and angry malicious shouting against it.
A thunderous "silence" from the Speaker of the house muted the tense atmosphere temporarily...
Tsalo went on. " Contraversy seems to be synonymous with our nation.... I will no longer stand for that.... we have just avoided falling from the precipice to an uncertain fate and yet i still hear voices of unreasonable hatred in my own Parliament...".
The atmosphere was still of ethereal silence...
suddenly a brave member of the Senate spoke up to the President and his forboding presence..
" contravesy is a relative term, if we are standing up for our nations believes and rights, we are suddenly deemed "contraversial" by others who dont like our policies!!!!!"
The speaker of the house replied...
"to whom may i address the rude senator who didnt bother to state his name or who the constituency he represents?"
"Louis Berg senator for Namibia" the senator replied.
"right, then, sit down and shut up fool, the President hasnt finished his speech yet." The speaker of the house replied with a slighlty agigitated twinge in his normally beautifully sounding kwazulu Afrikaans accent.
The senator promply did so. which gave away all his pretensions of being the crusading politician.
The President undaunted by the interruptions continued on......
"we must traverse the great divide in our nation, whether it be ethnically, morally, spiritually, socially, economically and so on, I do respect the arguement that South Africa has to be more assertive on the African stage and I believ our recent show of force in the Angolan conflict has reflected that."
"but we need to show that assertiveness more with the diplomat rather than the draconian"
on that note the president suddenly left the chambers leaving the Senate in respectful yet bewildered silence.............

The Emirate sympathizes with the Kingdom of Kopparbergs. We hope that the situation will be quickly resolved, and if the Kingdom requires any assistance in the ensuing investigation, we will gladly send a delegation to help.
General IC:
The Emirate has announced the conclusion of parliamentary elections in the Central African Protectorate. Prime Minister Pascal Khadiri was confirmed in N'Djamena as he confirmed the conferral of state powers to the Emir Jalal ibn Misri, in attendance. He later delivered a speech, calling the peaceful transition of power in the Protectorate a "blessing from Allah and the beginnings of a prosperous partnership. Since the Protectorate is a separate entity of the ALM Emirate, it is officially an independent state. However, both the Emirate and the Protectorate share the same Head of State, and as such are subject to the same authority under the Emir. In the CAP, a new resolution has entered the floor, with a declaration to change the new of the Central African Protectorate to something less provocative - which was widely received. The proposal will undergo parliamentary inquiries to determine its legality.
Emirate forces have begun a new offensive in Iran, targeting the city of Shiraz - a vital target to control the movement of Sistani remnants. Details to come out later.

The End of Peace
Snip
With an overwhelming majority, the Parliament of the Iberian Netherlands has vetoed the Declaration of War and submitted them for the Prime Minister to sign. At, 1300 hours- local time the order was signed and peace had been restored.
On a further note, the process of withdrawing the troops was beginning.
A message was sent to the Kopparbergs government requesting transit of their Air Space for use in evacuating the troops and bringing in food, water, medical supplies, fuel and other supplies to sustain the people and the troops until they are evacuated.
An additional message was also sent to the nations of Vineyard, South Africa and Kopparbergs. Three Amphibious Assault ships were being sent loaded with supplies and would return home the troops. The Small Fleet was to be escorted by two destroyers and two frigates. If, the Navies of Vineyard, South Africa or Kopparbergs wished to inspect the ships they may do so. If, requested their travel time and route they were going to be taken would be submitted.
As, a sign of good faith- the 3rd Carrier Battle group would be departing the Gulf of Guinea in a few hours. The 4th Amphibious Group would depart the various territories of the Kingdom and link up in the middle Atlantic (This is the small Fleet I was talking about).
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
A Few hours later, one last message was submitted to the nations of the world. This would be the Iberian Netherlands last message until a new day would dawn.
The Iberian Netherlands is hereby recalling all its Embassies with other nations and requesting all Embassies the Netherlands has with other countries withdraw their Ambassadors and their staff from our country. The only diplomatic relations our country will be maintaining is those of its allies and for the time being the Philippine Protectorate. Once the Operation in South America is over, all Forces abroad will be called home. Twice, in the past year the world has come close to a world war and our government wishes not to be a part of that.
On that Note, the Iberian Netherlands hereby claims neutrality. We will not be involved in any war nor we will support anyone at war whether they be allies, friends or enemies. The only aid our government will considering sending is food, water, medical or money. However, there is no guarantee even if that aid will be sent.
Our government will maintain its neutrality and guard it with the upmost of its ability. Challenge our neutrality at your own peril.
I wish you my fellow nations, the best of luck.

-South African Government-
We are interested in investing in the oilfields in Angola. With one condition:
-We must be able to load the oil in a port on the African east coast.
If we must load the oil at the west coast (in Angola) there will be a large detour for our ships as they all, without exceptions, will come from the Indian Ocean. There must be a pipeline to a port in i.e. the northern parts of Mozambique. We will, of course, pay for this pipeline and contribute to the building of a deep water port in northern Mozambique.
We are currently buying a large amount of oil from Great Romeo, but this opportunity with oil from Africa will not affect the current deal with Great Romeo.

Johnston Atoll, Pacific Ocean
Five of the first SU-30MKK planes made two circles around the island, checking that nobody's there. According to the Wai Jun Dongtai-report (intelligence report) from the Second Department of PLA, the island should be abandoned since a couple of years ago. Everything was calm at the Johnston Atoll.
The paved runway was in fairly good condition, bearing in mind that it hasn't been used for a while. The first SU-30 landed without big problems, and the second plane landed just minutes later. The third plane was going in for landing, and made a perfect touchdown. But he hit a stone on the runway, and his landing gear broke. The right wing touched the ground, and shortly after, the plane began to roll. It ended up in a large ball of fire.
One of the An-124 planes began to paradrop troops at the island. Once they all have landed, they put out the fire and cleaned up the runway. The pilot in the third SU-30 didn't make, he was the first KIA in this mission.
When the runway was cleaned from stones, bushes and other things, which don't belong on a runway, the remaining planes landed without incidents.
The Cargo Ship and the Oil tanker was expected to arrive late tomorrow.

-Imperial Palace-
Peace was restored at last. Well... sorta.
The Economic Minister wanted to invest in the Angolian Oil Industry, but the Internal Affairs minister did not want to squander what forign investing power the Empire has on an industru the Empire is about to have enough of. So the Economic Minister chained a rather mean cougar to the Internal Affairs Minister's car under the cover of night. Apparently the Imperial guards did not stop him, becuase they thought it was hilarious. The Economic Minister then, as a result of the Internal Affair's minister literally wetting himself when he tried to enter his vehicule, garnered the undying support of the typically stoic Imperial Guardsmen. The Internal Affairs Minister then offered to resolve the entire affair over dinner, seemingly broken. The Economic Minister accepted, and over dinner the Economic Minister was offered a mint. The Minister accepted, only to find that the mint was a rather odd hallucinagin, which then (and the Economic Minister professes to know nothing about this) caused him to not only be arrested by the Imperial Capitol Police, due to the fact that he had stripped himself of his clothes and proceeded to flap his arms as if flying while skipping accross the Imperial Placa, a VERY busy commercial center in the capitol. AFter being released by the rather amused Capitol police, he endevored to have the Internal Affairs minister investigated for posioning, but the Internal Affairs minister threatened to have the Economic Minister charged for corruption. The Ministers took their fued to Regent Windsor, who after laughing for a few minutes, resolved to have a council of Economists summoned to take a look at the Empire's Econemy, and to decide where the Empire would best invest its money. The council resolved that Angolian oil should be invested in, but only in a 'small' amount. The rest of the money was to be invested in the Agricultural Development of Congo, to accomodate clothing-materials production as well as other key products such as Coffee.
The investment from the surplus is to be as follows:
1B to be invested in Angolian Oil, which the Imperial oil Ministry is to over-see.
13B is to be invested in Agricultural works throughout the Congo (Both the R.C and the D.R.C) including, but not limited to; irrigation projects, Land Acquisition projects, Economic ordering and listing, investent of heavy Agricultural maceniery, Professional Agriculturialist Supervision centers, etc, etc, etc.
4B to be invested into the production and manufacture of Clothing: Textiles industry and State Plantations.
2B to be invested in the production of Coffee: Clearing of jungles and forests to make way for state coffee plantations, with the excess lumber being used to build Border-observation posts along newly acquired territory.

Elections in the newly established Central African Republic have been confirmed, as Emir Jalal confirmed the new Prime Minister Pascal Khadiri in N'Djamena today. PM Khadiri has been tasked to finish the restructuring of the CAP government and make it more responsible and accountable to its citizens, unlike the previous government. The ceremonies were wide-spread but limited in scope, as the country was still under military occupation. The armed forces of the CAP are to receive final training before integrating into the new Army Group A, to be based in N'Djamena. Army Group A is given a unique distinction to allow a more localized command of the forces there and permit its to remain more a CAP armed force than an ALM armed force.

The Emirate issues a statement, encouraging the government in France and the UFMC to pursue interests that will likely lead to stability in the former United Kingdom. In the wake of a limited war between your two governments, there are concerns that the anarchic forces in the British Isles can potentially aggress further conflict upon their neighbors, notably in the Gaelithic Federation. We offer any assistance in pursuing this endeavor, although we are fairly certain that your government is responsible and perfectly capable of handling this situation comfortably. Nonetheless, we feel a need to reciprocate your generosity to us in our own endeavors.

If it is within your sovereign ability to manage the anarchy left in the wake of the previous war, it is perfectly fitting that we not send any officers to intrude on the affairs. However, if permissible, we would like to work out possibilities to send a observation delegation of 10 officers - appointed by the General Staff - to take note of the actions and acquire off-hand experience as your forces do pacify the realm under question. If need be, we can likewise offer our own team of advicers to watch and learn - perhaps even share - experiences in the pacification. With this acknowledged level of cooperation, we can perhaps gain from each other, as the Emirate currently seeks to return order and peace to large areas of the Middle East, especially of those left in the wake of Sistani aggression.

We have not taken over one single country. Yes, we have invaded nations for various reasons but, nothing but good has come out of those invasions.
Every nation in the kingdom is given a voice in the government both local and abroad. Every nation is allowed to manage their own affairs, some more then others. Do not take the some more then others that this means we oppression some nations right of freedom. In, fact it couldn't be farther from the truth. All the nations in the Kingdom have greater rights today then they did in the past.
With all due, respect sir. I'm not surprised your country can't see the difference.

South Africa has had enough of military commands definiations of countries they deem to be "Anarchic Quagmires"
Despite South Africas and Brtains tumultous histories we still have a lot of respect for the british in terms of what they contributed to the development of todays "civilised" world.
we still have more of a regard to the Brtish than the french and that really is saying something. They created a semblence of order in what was otherwise a craven or cowardly world (we specifically refer to the atrocoties of the French empire and their subsequent military disasters)
we have extreme doubts over Military commands ability to subjecate the Entire English population to French rule of law as your Culture severely clashes with that of the English and we put emphasis on these words "they will repel you"
like most other French governments before yours you will capitulate whether by the Peasant or by the sword.
We will therefore no longer recognize your Empire as a legitimate nation. we will cease all trade with your nation and if any harm befalls any south African citizen there whilst leaving your distopia consider that an act of war....

During the years since we started our countries agricultural mobilization, industrial build up & infrastructure rebuilding we have begun producing bio fuels to reduce our dependence on foreign oil. We have finished rebuilding our civilian infrastructure which has opened up millions of new businesses & jobs for our people. The power plants built are now supplying power to homes and businesses across our country. We now have a booming economy with many new industries such as automobiles, aircraft, & ship building leading the way. We hope to open avenues of international trade in order to grow the economy even more.
Our Ministry of Charity and Hajj is likewise procuring an equivalent of $100mil to support your rehabilitation operations. We hope that all of this support will bring success to the campaign overall, as a peaceful Middle East benefits from having peaceful European neighbors.

IC reply to the events transpiring in West Africa...
The Emirate has recognized that two new states existing in the western stretches of Africa have begun to become exceedingly militant, in response to varying cues from their likewise militant neighbors. We have come to realiize that various states from aboard have peaked their interest into African affairs, and while their sincerity may not be doubted, they must realize that this is not their continent and in effect does not present to their states a viable opportunity to expand whatever influence they may present to these states here.
As such, the Emirate is seeking introduce formal relations with the CWAA and the Republic of Guinea, both as a beneficient and as a friendly neighbor. In recognition of their efforts to return to a sound order of stability [albeit through not so perfectly condoned while not condemned means], the Emirate can authorize aid in terms of funds and troop personnel to bring about a better order to their operations. Furthermore, we encourage both the CWAA and Guinea to attend the Pan-African Conference, to protect their interests better in an international forum designed with the preservation of African autonomy in Africa.

If your intentions are true to their cause than there would be no need to enforce a government of your liking upon the British. Take the peace keeping missions in South America as an example. The Iberian Netherlands and the Philippines conducted a joint peacekeeping mission and restored order to the continent without enforcing control over the region.
We would be more than honored to conduct the same operations in the British Isle.

We are immediately calling home our ambassador Mr. Ji Mingyi from the Iberian Netherlands. This is due to your request of isolation. We are also expecting Mr. Wever and his staff to leave Asian China within one week.
The Asian Chinese government does not like the canceling of diplomatic contacts, and you will have a hard time establishing a new embassy within the Peoples Republic of Asian China.

The Communist Palace, Shanghai, The People's Republic of Asian China
Hu Jintao, president and chairman of the Asian Chinese Communist Party (ACCP), and his closest man Zhao Ziyang (General Secretary of the ACCP) sat down with a cup of tea and discussed the foreign issues on the agenda today, as they did on a regularly basis once a week.
The first point was the Iberian Netherlands's embassy. They are going into some kind of isolation, and cancel all their embassies, except for their allied. The two most powerful men in Asian China decided to call home the Asian Chinese ambassador Ji Mingyi from Iberian Netherlands, and declare all of the Iberian Netherlands's embassy personnel persona non grata in Asian China. Ji Mingyi has done a great job in the Netherlands, so he will be assigned a new commission when he arrives in Asian China.
The next point was the war in western Africa. As usual they both laughed at the imperialistic nations over there. The report told them that the Iberian Netherlands together with The Brazilian Empire was going to war with half of Africa over Senegal. They did not understand why. "So much for their isolation" said Hu Jintao with Iberian Netherlands in his mind.

UARCA News of Note
The world (at least those parts with capability to be able to see) would have noticed a regular schedule of space launches of various satellites from Baikonur Csmodrome over the last months. There has been as of yet no official word on the mission or payload of these launches.
Meanwhile, the campaign in Iran has neared the mop-up phases, as Sistani forces are squeezed apart in most areas still under engagement. Fighting eprsists in major cities, but UARCA and allied forces are now in near complete control of all areas outside citie such as Tehran and Shiraz. Casualty lists are still being updated, but it appears that of all coalition partners, the UCR has suffered the heaviest losses in its fighting in Tehran. UARCA losses in that conflict continue to rise as well, but do not approach lthe levels of UCR due mainly to the fact that UARCA forces have not been committed in the number that the UCR did.
The UARCA also submits a request to Sel Appa to be allowed to bid for the portions of its air force that will be auctioned off. UARCA representatives make it clear that, should it come down to competitive bidding with either ALM or Asian China, the UARCA is willing to try for it anyways.

-Official Notice-
The Empire of Vineyard is building another Space Center in its Congolese territory, which will be built exactly on the Equator due to the equator's preferencial status for shuttle launches.
This is the Third center the Empire has built, with the First being in Iraq (its current condition is unknown), the second being in Asencion (an Island which harbors the Former fleet of the Empire, since gone renegade. So its still out there FYI, but not in use.), and the third being a joint effort with TG6R in East Timor. Although the Empire will continue to participate in the TG6R-Vineyard joint space program out of East Timor, the new station will allow more freedom and anomity for the Empire to launch basically anything it wants when it wants. The location of the new spacestation has yet to be disclosed for security reasons, and is currently being protected by a regiment (about 1,000 troops) of the 4th battlegroup.
That is all for now. All hail the Empire!

Great Allies,
As you well know we are in the process of building a new space center, the reason being that we not only want exclusive access to these satilites, but to also create the oppertunity to allow the RSA the chance to get RSA satilites into space. Not only will this modernize your nations considerably, but it will create an unprecedented level of domestic, military, and civilian communication oppertunities. On top of that, it will effectivly allow your nations the chance to build satilite-guided ICBM's and allow your nations to create accurate maps and precise intelegence. Say good-by to scouting and recon missions. That is, if you want in.
We expect all those who want to participate to help in the construction, maitaniance, and manning of the center. Each individual nation will be responsible for the construction of their own satilites and shuttles, and we will create a joint program to build RSA civilian-based satilites that will remain neutural and will be jointly owned. Please let us know about any ideas/suggestions.

We the new government of North Korea wish to ask for membership into FOAM. During the years since we took power we have made a priority of rebuilding of civilian infrastructure including new power plants, as well as agricultural production of food and bio fuels to reduce our dependance on foreign oil and to give us a product/s we could sell on the international market. The sponsored religious groups of the old regime have been dismantled allowing autonomous religious activities, which fuel a new religious freedom. To accomplish this we have reduced our miliary spending for the forseeable future and may need protection. While we do have military equipment leftover from the old regime we would like to continue to use all of our resources to grow our economy. In this way we can become a friendlier, more productive citizen of the international community. Thank You .

With the agreement with Argentina on joining the Kingdom signed, the following changes were instituted as per agreement.
First, Dominion status as known in the Kingdom was officially terminated. All nations that had held the position as dominions were hereby given greater autonomy to pursue their own affairs in the world. This would allow greater unity among the many members that once made up the kingdom.
Second, with the birth of a new nation- a new name was needed that fit the position the formal Kingdom of the Iberian Netherlands had once held. After looking over many names, the final name was unanimously selected by all members of the formal Kingdom. The name chosen was The Republic of United Nations. This title was to only be used when addressing all nations of the republic. Each nation of the republic would be addressed by its individual name. Failure to address and to show respect to individual members of the Republic when addressing an specific nation would be consider an insult and the relations with said country that made the insult treated accordingly.
To the International World:
Hereby- the Kingdom of the Iberian Netherlands and its predecessor the United Netherlands are no more. The nations that once made up the Kingdom are hereby known as The Republic of United Nations.

Regent WIndsor spat out his coffee.
"What the hell is this!?" He slammed down his news report (which had a report on the United Ibreian Netherlands thing) and glared at a coffee brewer before him.
"Do you seriously call this coffee? Incredible." Regent Windsor turned to an aid next to him.
"Put this man through re-assignment."
The brewer started to panic, eyes darting about. 2 Imperial Guards emerged from the darkness and hauled him away as he started to scream. The other coffee brewers down the line looked nervous.
An iron door opened at the other end of the room. His Minister of Forign affairs entered, and began to walk towards Windsor, as he sampled another brew of Congolese Coffee.
"Sir! What am I to do about the Republic of the United Nations?"
Regent Windsor dook a swig of coffee as he glanced down at the minister. His face scrunged up, and he forced himself to swollow. Another dismal brew.
Regaining his composture, he guestered to the next brewer to give him and his minister a sample. As the brewer prepared it, Regent Windsor mused "We have no choice. We have always had a sort of interventionilist policy, but that area of the world falls into Sharina's court." he said as he guestered to a picture of Argentina in the report.
"I would love to help those wackos, but they want to expell GR. We cannot allow that due to the BS alliance. This entire affair has dissolved into upsurdity. Its a triangle of conflict. If only Sharina gave up their insane crusade..."
Regent Windsor sighed and downed another swig of coffee. His eyes lit up.
"This is some good stuff! Whats your name, brewer?"
The Brewer grinned. "Ivan..."
"Alright Ian. Your my new Minister of Coffee!" he turned to one of his aids. "My aid here will give you all the necessary details. Im out of here."
Regent Windsor began to walk away with the Forign Affairs Minister.
"Sir. Great Romeo has not exactly been the most.. well.. most faithful ally."
"Oh?"
"The Military Command Incident sir. They did nothing. And they invaded the heartlands during the reformation process."
"Good point..." Regent Windsor stopped in his tracks. "Ok. Send someone."
"Send someone? What?"
"Send someone.. preferably a civilian diplomat... like Vladimir Seks. Send him to Sharina, negotiate a non-agression treaty. If he does go to war with GR, we can claim dual intrests and invalidate our involvement. That way, we can pull back the 2nd, and throw around our weight."
"Aye sir!" The Forign Minister bowed, and hurried down the hall to get to work.

With their use on the rise, it is with grave determination that the United Autonomous Republics of Central Asia remind the world of the dangers of strategic-scale weaponry. Their prolifigate use in a number of conflicts is a massive cause for concern that should not be tolerated by the international community.
And so, to protect the UARCA in these trying times, I am making this fact known to the world: Any and all attacks upon the UARCA with weaponry that is strategic in scale, including ICBMs, will be regarded as a strategic threat and reacted to accordingly. Should the UARCA feel in any way threatened by what could be imminent detonation of strategic-level weaponry, whose main source of delivery I might remind all of you is via ICBM, immediate reply will be made with the full range of the UARCA's strategic arsenal against the nation who rashly and stupidly decides to attack the UARCA in that manner.
There will be no pause for verification of warhead payload. The full range of strategic weaponry possessed by the UARCA will be launched in immediate reply the instant any such weaponry is detected on a course for UARCA territory or dependencies. Strategic weaponry is not something the UARCA will allow to be flung about unhindered, especially when the chance for surprise assaults of the NBC nature are so possible from the vehicles employed.

Your ships didn't pass my blockade. It would be considered god-modding if they did. considering I had far superior naval assets (quality and numbers) and to say the ships passed through my blockade when I was not present to respond to such an action is also god-moddish as well.
I didn't sign any agreements or deals to lift the blockade, so that isn't an excuse either (someone mentioned something about a deal lifting a blockade).

What?! You've been blockading a neutral nation for 3 years?! That's absurd, especially since the original condition for the blockade isn't there (the convoy left for eastern Russia three years ago, remember?).

Nope, time keeps moving. And what war do you speak of? You never declared war on the EATO allaince or we on you. We can use fluid time, but I think that should only be used in a specify case (like in a RP). The now wierd war in Senegal is an example. If, it can be called a war at this point.
So, yeah it's been three years. I've been in South America that long. 2-3 years with that operation.

The Sharinan diplomat, Rudolph W. Giuliani, listened carefully to the Vineyardian before responding.
"We appreciate you coming down here and your wishes to discuss our treaties and other business.
To address your first point, we would be willing to shelve the old treaty with one exception. Sharina will be willing to open up trade, travel, and perhaps even cultural exchange programs. The exception is that Sharina agrees not to annex or gain new land in Europe, and likewise for Vineyard in the Americas. This way, we will be able to maintain our spheres of influence without going to war, keep open trade and such, and not feel threatened by each other.
I don't recall Sharina placing permanent embargoes on your nation. The only instance an embargo were to occur was long ago after our last war. Therefore we need not worry about embargoes, as long as we are not at war, and I hope we will not come to war any time soon.
Perhaps the time is right for our two nations to mend our fences."

Coffee Yeilds.
Refugee massacres covered up.
The government of DP collapsed!
Regent Windsor paused at that report, grinning. Thank god.

Crete yet to be invaded.
He winced. He still had to get to that...
Fishing yeilds in South Atlantic sky rocket.
He smirked.
UCRA requests Diplomatic mission.
Regent Windsor paused. Interesting indeed.
He deftly moved the courser over to the title, and clicked it. Next there was a list of reports and their respective authors. He went for one of the lower-ranking reports.
"Sir. The UCRA is, and probably will want us to grant some consessions or extract information from whomever we send. Look at it this way. They recently develop a space program, they recently acquire nuclear technology... now they want more. My personal recommendation would be to..."
Regent Windsor cut it off. Hurumph. The officer had a point. But a mission should be sent, least the UCRA interperte a denial as an agressive precourser or act of ill-will. He went through a list of Diplomats.
He immediately filtered out Military Diplomats. If the UCRA did indeed backstab the Empire, it would result in the Diplomatic Officer being tortured for information. Why not send someone that has no knowladge of Military affairs..?
He glanced at the list. 3 names. He sighed. His top civilian Diplomat was already in New York, negotiating a series of settlements with the Sharinian government. He looked at the two remaining named.
-Dr. Kobe Adisa. Congian Professor of International Politics. Chair of his feild in the Empire.
-Domenica Gilda. Governer of Italy, and cheif diplomat, Europa.
After about a seconds thought, he dialed a number. A man answered. After reieving instructions, the man hung up. Dr. Kobe Adisa was being sent to Tashkent.
He sighed. Such a difficult decision.

Operation endgame (Senegal.)
(Is U.E. still in this war??? come on dude.... Its a 4 on 1 dogpile..... FUN!!!!!!!:p LOL thats a bit of a lie dweladelf still has forces here but they would be disorientated and demoralized after the Governments suprise collapse.)
For the First time Black and White South African soldiers found some sort of common ground and solidarity. To rid the Continent they share of the evil menace of the The Former Empire of Brazil and The Iberian Netherlands. The war may well divide one country (Senegal) but may also Irrevocably heal another (South Africa) only time will tell.
Squads where still seperated into Black, White and coloured catergories but the Fine line seperating them was almost undistinguishable as the brave battalions of the South African armoured corps pushed southwards to the Rendezvous point with CWAA and hopefully Vineyardian forces at the town of St Louis and from ther move gradually to Dakar.
Sporadic gunbattles have been fought with what was believed to be a Loyal Dweladelfian (ooc Somebody can R.p. Dweladelfais forces, Perhaps U.E can. Put untill then I will make assumpions as this war gotta be over and done with guys...) Battalion near the outskirts of St Louis they were Inevitably torn to shreds as they were isolated from their main group who according to Intelligence reports sacked a local village for Food and women. and still havent returned to attack the township...
A Viscereal moment was when a Dweladelfiian soldier was shot in the hip by a South African Infantryman but valiantly kept firing back untill an Olifant Type A battle tank rolled down from an embankment and squashed the soldier into a bloody pulp.....

The Emirate of Alif Laam Miim, after a long hiatus of restabilization of numerous territories formerly under the political and militaristic influence of Sistan and Asherton, has unilaterally decided to end the anarchy existing in Arabicia. Our intention is to return a sense of order into a state that was once considerably strong and stable - a bedrock ally in the Middle East of the Emirate. Military forces have been gathered to institute order in Arabicia, in the midst of a air campaign that actively seeks to encourage the population to desist their rioting and raptures in disarray. The Emir has announced his dear intention to returning a stable government to Arabicia while maintaining a delicate balance of authority in the region. We hope that the efforts of the Emirate are likewise supported around the world, in the aims to maintain this peace in the Middle East.
Our curiosity brings us to West Africa, where some new states have been embroiled in conflicts that threaten to bring some disorder to our western interests. We inquire to those involved parties if there is any possible way that the Emirate can offer any assistance in preserving the delicate peace that we cherish.
PM Yusuf Hassan
In addition to these and other announcements, the Emirate will be holding elections at the discretion of the Emir, for the election of a new government and administration in the Emirate [not to include the CAP, EAP, and other protectorates...]. We look forward to these demonstrations with much anxiety [of their success] and anticipation that the will of Allah will be best expressed in the volitions of the people who serve in the Emirate.

Um, so yea - the elections have been passed, and the people have nearly unanimously confirmed to continue with the present government, with experts citing likely reasons to be a continued progress of prosperity under the current administration and a deep respect for the efforts of these men to help make the world more stable in which the Emirate can cooperatively exist. One minor mark was the issue with Arabicia, but in lieu of recent efforts to stabilize the country, voters were apparently satisfied.

Grand-Technocrat Mina Veristek glanced over the large computer screen and smiled. She turned her head to address the assembled ministers, generals, admirals, and economists.
"This is a prime opporunity to consolidate and completely annex the Caribbean Sea with the fall of Dweladelfina Prime. Intelligence sources indicate a new movement within Brazil by the name of Braska. Perhaps Braska will be an useful ally or an enemy, depending on the course of action Braska undertakes.
Rumors abound that the United Republics may make a move on the Caribbean, and that cannot be allowed, considering they already made land gains elsewhere in South America.
I do recall that Sharina's naval assets are already at high alert and preparedness for war after the recent blockade of Costa Rica and a possible war aganist EATO due to Dweladelfina Prime. Now that Dweladelfina is gone, the war aganist EATO may be averted, but then again, it may not depending on whether the United Republics makes a move on the Caribbean.
I thereby order all Sharinan assets in the Caribbean to begin Operation Pirates, which entails the complete annexation of the entire Caribbean. Use military force, diplomacy, bribes, and various methods to ensure this.
Make it happen, ladies and gentlemen!"
Another chapter in Sharina's history was to unfold.

Drought in the Transvaal!!!
The Transvaal province of Eastern South Africa has suffered the worst drought in 50 years according to independent analysists. Some scientists do not believe this is merely a co incidence with the extreme temperature change in the Kazahstan republic (?) of the UCAAR.
Prominent South African scientist Micheal Fritz puts much emphasis on the correlation between the Transvaal droughts and the freezing sub zero temperatures in the Mountainous areas of Kazahstan and other central asian republics....
he strongly advocates for a stronger international body to control global emissions and to reverse the adverse affects of global warming.
The South African government statement to Fritzs comments is as follows:
"This is pure speculation on Mr Fritzs part, It is the balance of the earths cycle to influence our natural environment we simply in todays age have no control over what will happen next pertaining to natural disasters. We strongly emphasise with the citizens of Transvaal province and will help them in their time of utmost need, That is all."
This comes in light of the Govenments recent build up of Oil extraction infrastructure around Angola and the Increasing development of heavy industry in all major union cities.

After two weeks of work with the old abandoned base, things were beginning to work as the engineering forces wanted to. The oil tanker had unloaded a large amount of fuel and oil at the base. The runway, as well as the buildings at the air base, was back into normal (or at least functional) shape. Three of the six existing 2.5 MW generators were in so bad condition they must be replaced. For now the base will have to make it with three diesel-generators.
1,500 men were now based at the tiny island. In addition, 500 engineers will continue to improve the facilities here for several months. At the moment there are 29 SU-30MKK, five H-6D Tankers and three An-124 (two of the original five has left) at the atoll, but this may change in either direction. The Cargo ship has also left the island, and is now back at the Yangshan deep water port outside Shanghai where it will reload with more equipment.

UARCA News Update
Avril Strenop reporting
Central Asia has descended into a snow-bound mess this week, after continued snowfall led to avalanches and other disasters across the region.
In Kyrygzstan, the Bishkek-Osh highway is effectively shut down. There is an actute danger of avalanches, reports Akipress. Kyrgyzstan has declared a state of emergency in many regions of the country after three days of heavy snow left at least four people dead and blocked the country's main highway connecting the capital, Bishkek, to southern areas of the country.
In Tajikistan, more than 100 avalanches hit the Pamir Mountains area in the last 24 hours, leaving at least one person dead, and blocking all roads leading to the southeastern Khorog region. Deputy Emergency Situations Minister Makhmadullo Khalimov described the avalanches as "gigantic," and said they dumped more than a meter of snow on roads and buildings in the eastern part of the country. Dustmurod Zabirov, the Emergency Situations Ministry press secretary, said needed equipment was rushed to the scene to clear the roads but continued snowfall was hampering the work.
"All the equipment has been brought to the blocked roads," Zabirov said. "However, it is impossible to start cleaning work due to continuing snowfall and avalanches. It is still snowing heavily.”
Uzbek authorities said an avalanche near the strategic Kamchik pass has blocked the road connecting most of Uzbekistan to the Fergana Valley area.
UARCA officials are rushing to coordinate rescue and relief efforts for citizens stranded in remote valleys with national governments, while snow removal equipmkent is being hurriedly re-routed from across the UARCA to the hardest-hit regions. There is, as of yet, no official words about the disasters taking place across Central Asia, though a press conference has been scheduled for early tomorrow. The question remains, however- as the UARCA scrambles to prevent a widespread disaster, are efforts succeeding?

The Emirate Ministry of Charity and Hajj offers a grant of $100mil to aid the UARCA recover from these calamitous disasters.

Wenchang Launch Center, Hainan Sheng (Hainan Island)
5...4...3...2...1...Go!
A large cloud of smoke rose from the platform, accompanied by a deafening noise from the Long March rocket when it left the platform. The men in the control room followed the rocket on their screens. Everything was normal. This was a regular launch, nothing special – except for the cargo in the rocket. The satellite it was going to unload in orbit was the first combined reconnaissance and communication satellite in the Asian Chinese space history. When the satellite is on its position in orbit, it will serve as the main link between mainland Asian China and the Johnston Atoll. It will also keep a watching eye on the sea around the Atoll.
This was the 87'th successful Chinese launch into space, and the 94th if you also count the failed launches (source (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long_March_3A)).

The UCR has been hit by a powerful Winterstorm. This is the same storm that has hit both Southern Russia and The UARCA. This freak storm has caused much damage in the UCR. Roads are covered in snow and ice. Mountain passes have been filled in. Recovery teams have been sent out by the Military to try and help those most affected.
Due to the Storm, Project "Due Course" has been postponed until most of the snow is cleared away. Analysts and Meteorologist say it could be anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months before the project will be able to restart. Goverment officials have denied to comment on the projects problems as of now.

This pertains to Annexing Ascension Island. (its tiny so I think im justified postin an r.p. here)
The Atmosphere on Acsension Island was eathereal for the Platoon of Marines who landed on the Island from a South African warship on her way to Suprise the Free Angolan government in Cabinda (ooc check my Angolan frontier thread for more info on this)
The entire Island is a Naval graveyard and was formally a testament to the Might of the Vineyardian Imperial navy before the collapse and her subsequent re birth to keep the status quo.
Most of the military personelle stationed on the Island had left for Various reasons.
However about 100 Stubborn vineyardian decended citizens stayed on the island in Improvised houses made from Scrap and other pieces of naval material.
Micheal Cronus the captain of the Platoon of marines ordered his men to lay down their arms to the bewildered Ascension islanders (who after nearly 50 (?) years of isolation form any major African powers influence were perplexed that a nation would want to claim their small island once more.....) as a sign of goodwill.
Linguisitcal difficulties were not a problem as all "Elite" South African military personelle where taught the Vineyardin tongue when the two amiable nations participated in joint military endevours on the African continent.
The Islanders arbitrarily accepted the terms of the governments "protectorate" status over the Island untill a compromise can be met fully between both parties.

Referendum in the Central African Protectorate has confirmed the designation of the new government as the Republican Protectorate of Chad [Protectorat Républicain du Tchad], which Emir Jalal in absentia approved this measure. Additionally, a referendum in the East African Protectorate has confirmed the designation of the new government as the Abyssinian Protectorate.

However, I was curious if I could rejoin this? I was Scotland I believe.

IF Gaelithia doesn't come back, you can RP a takeover of his territories. I'm giving him until Sunday, just to be kind. In any case, you're most welcome to return, and we [i.e. I] hope that you will have the time to continue working with us - as you might have already noticed, the atmosphere is certainly much more different than when you are last here.

I think much more is an under statement. It's totally different. :D
But, yeah. I'll support any new players coming in even old ones. The more the merrier. If, he wants he could claim new nations. Some new territories have opened up in South America. If, he wants he could try his hand at that. Hell, Braska hasn't been back so Brazil might be open again soon.
Just, this time. Please- BE MORE ACTIVE!. It drives me nuts when people join post one or two replies and then vanish into nothing. Is their some Black Hole in Earth V I don't know about? :headbang:

WACN REPORT: PEACE AT LAST
After a month of strife and violence, the CWAA Civil War is over with the Republican Government being set up by the Victorious Rebels. The Loyalists lost their last fortress in Bamako Gov't HQ to the Rebels yesterday, but not before wiping out over half of the assault force. The Interim President, General Ungawa, said that elections shall be held on about a month and wishes for other nations to know that a new, democratic nation has been wrought from the ashes of a corrupt dictatorship. He also announced that the CWAA is still involved in the PAC and wishes to establish more friendly relations with former enemies.

Public announcement from the ACCP, Asian China Communist Party
The ACCP has voted yes to extend the One-Child Policy for rural areas, to be valid in all of Asian China.
The former rule says that you can only have one child per family. The new, more generous policy says that you are allowed to have a second child if the first child is a girl or physically disabled.
Additional children will continue to result in fines.
The new One-Child Policy will go into effect January 1.

All of the cargo was of course hidden or camouflaged.

A deluge of protestors filled the streets of Cape town and Pretoria angered by the Ungoing military debacle in Senegal whilst the government was redirecting other taxes to another military campaign in Angola to procure all the old fields.
Government statistics say the protestors are just a small minority group out in strong force to make their presence reverberate through the nation. However Protesting escalated to large scale rioting in Cape town within days to unprecedented levels since the emergency regime of the 1990s. The tranquil surroundings of Cape town with her turqouis waters and imposing table top mountains had once again gained an omipresent sense of forboding an dread.....
This was exemplified on the third days of intensive riots where Angry predominantly black protestors were incensed by the fact half the security detachment in Cape town were still white and that a disproportionate amount of casualties in the Senegal and Angolan conflicts were black or coloured.
the streets of Cape town were indelibly drenched in sorrow that day. The heavy handed approach of security officials provoked the government into making an international statement to the world....

The Emirate encourages the people of the Boer Republik to utilize the extensive diplomatic functions of its democratic institutions. As such, we furthermore encourage the Boer Republik to be attentive to its citizens' cries, as they are the source of the authority and legitimacy as a government. In sum, we hope that the riots disperse and that the security situation in the Boer Republik stabilizes.
The UCR Government would like to announce that Project "Due Course" has reached the Mingacevir Resevoir. A short break will be given to the workers, and then work will begin on the Mingacevir Harbor and dregding the rest of the Resevoir.

And the Island of Asencion suffered a food shortage, leading to a massive civil war of sorts. The Island can only support a population of 1,000, and with the petrol stores being used up /wasted in the ensuing conflict, the remaining 1,000 or so could not really go anywhere... So you have 1,000 Disgruntled ex-sailors and their families heavily armed trying to sketch out a living amungst ruins, old warships creeking and groaning as they sway back and forth in their docks, and scattered skeletonsstill wearing the uniform clutching whatever weapon they had when they died laying around.

Greetings friends.
We appreciate your recent efforts to recover our old weapons stores, however, the only equiptment you would be able to get is in the outside of the Island, in short: just the ships. The Island of Asencion, as we are sure you are well aware, has a rather large mountain petruding out of it. And guess what? Its not solid. The mountain is, as many of our bases are, just a hollowed out mountain. Asencion used to serve as not only our main naval port, but also as a massive re-supply station as well as a fighter base.
At any rate, you will be compensated for your efforts as soon as you return our war materials to us.

Official Communique from Tsalo Tutu President of the Union of South Africa.
to the nation of south Africa and the world.
I am going to make my thoughts clear on our various contraversial decisions my government has made over the last seven years and will try and "justify them".
I personally believe solidarity is defined by the majority of the population and does not and will not have 100% national support at any one time. I peronally believe a strong governments purpose is to balance both sides of the equation whilist keeping bias on one side to a minimum.
South Africa is exemplified by her actions in her past and up to date. I have tried to make a fair free and secular state for the Union but i have to accept the inevitable. Apathy, Animosity, Anger, Fear are all synonymous with the fundamentals for government.
I will make various examples: The 1st Boer republik came to power rolling on the bandwagon of Hatred and fear by the whites of losing power. The second Boer republik was built on the need to compromise with other ethnicities.
or when certain dictators ascend to power due to the apathy of that certain nations voters of the repercussions this would have at a later date.
No government is perfect. If the nation is liberal that government was formed by emancipating herself from another government of her nation that the rebelling faction thought oppressed her people. and that constitutes a government born out of anger.
Governments are flawed merely by human nature. This is not necessarily a bad thing.
I am getting old and tired. My predessors did little to help our nation before me. (Jack Little had to accept the inevitable. he did not want it) but I still maintain hope the my Sucessor (Jacob de Vries) will proove me wrong.
I hearby resign my position as the President of South Africa, but before I do I will make one last order as commander and chief of South Africas armed forces.... To unconditionally withdrawl from Senegal with Immediate effect.....
May the peoples of Senegal forgive our transgressions.....

The Emirate laments the resignation of an old leader of the Boer Republik, a leader whose sagacious insight has lead to the intensive stability of the southern partitions of the African continent. While every leader may possess their own flaws, his bright characteristics will not soon be forgotten, and we can only hope that the following leader will build on the progress already established.
