In a trendy part of downtown Paradise City, a new lounge has opened, where leaders of the worlds great Empires can come and relax, talk about political matters, and keep out of the eye of the media. Chancellor Blackhelm welcomes all of you Empire builders to come and join.

Any security?

Of course, 3 squads of the elite Honor Guard maintain security inside, while 2 XM-1 battle tanks stand guard outside, and there is a small garrison positioned across the street of 100 troops, in case of any problems

Will we be able to bring any personal gaurds? and what is the entry/membership fee?

Of course you can bring security, maximum of 12 guards though, can't be to crowded. Entry is only 1,000$

The Sultan of DT came into the club followed and precedded by 4 beefy body gaurds who were obviously packing heat. 8 urban warfare troops with specially outfitted gear and weapons took places around the interior and exterior of the club. They then precedded to check the security measures taken and identify suspicious persons.

The Emperor of Parkus came into the place, followed by his honorary 12 top soldiers. "Not bad" he said sitting down. "What drinks do you have on the menu?"

"Greetings gentlemen" The Chancellor said "And welcome to the Empires Club, i hope you are all enjoying our fine city"

The waiter answered the Emperor of Parkus "Any drink you request. If it is not in house, we will send out a jet and keep it for you next time you arrive."

The Emperor of the Secular Empire entered the club.

"Hello everyone. I'm Emperor Stephen of the Secular Empire. I'm sure some of you may already heard of me." He said as he sat down.

"I'd like a long island ice tea please."

"Wiskey on the rocks please." The Sultan said. He also acknowledged a sign from a body gaurd that told him the team of soldiers had declared the club safe and were now pratrolling the entrances. He relaxed and sank into his chair as another man came into the room. He would greet him later. For now he relaxed.

"Its a pleasure to meet you emperors, and sultan" the Chancellor said. "So do tell, anything of interest happening in your nations?"

"I am currently funding a project to build the largest city in the world. The plan is to house 90 million permanent residents. The costs are enormous; at $417 trillion, but I've got vast fortunes from various international companies. I currently stand at $64 trillion, but I'm quite sure there is someone worth more in this room. Experts believe first-year profits will be $910 trillion. I certainly hope this is true."

Empress Sakura came in on a smooth landing. The magic girl was an expert flyer. She retracted her wings, and paid the entry fee.

A limousine drew up at the front of the club, out of which two men in black suits walked. A third got out,dressed much the same, but the other two were obviously treating him with some serious respect. he walked up to the entrance, paid his fee and walked into the club, flanked by his guards. A badge on his suit showed the initials 'WNI'.

"Greetings, I am Tribune Johan Weishaupt of the Holy Church of the Tribunal. I trust you are all well."

Alaric will be touching down in less than ten minutes." The troopers finished the brews and headed back outside to wait for their Emperor......

The Sultan sat quietly, resting. He was informed by his gaurds of the people coming in and noticed them himself. He was just about to get up and join the conversation when a group of dusty soldiers burst in and shouted for some beer before exiting once more. He walked over to his other fellow world leaders.

And he was not long in arriving. Another HCGS touched down 20 yards from the first, and a tall man in the battle garb of the Xeraphian Dragons jumped down and began walking towards the troopers.

Alaric Tan'it, Emperor of Xeraph, was an imposing figure. Fully six foot, six inches in height, he weighed in at 263 pounds of rock solid muscle. He was armed with his usual twin Glock 9mm sidearms, his battle sword, and an AK-47MKII rifle. He was clad head to toe in black leather over which a gunmetal grey tunic of chainmail hung. The tunic was sleevless, exposing massive arms covered with esoteric tattoos, and his waist-length hair was held in place by a simple band of iron, his crown. His short chin-beard was beginning to show signs of grey in it. After all, he was pushing 167 years of age.

As he strode up to the troopers, he clapped one on the shoulder and said, " Where's the beer? I'm so friggin' thirsty I'd drink horse piss!" The trooper pointed towards the bar, where Alaric could see several people moving around.

As he passed throught he swinging doors, he glanced over at the Sultan and gave him a wave. " Be right with you, sir. " With that, he headed towards the bartender, who turned a curious shade of white when he saw this barbarian monarch heading towards him. " Bartender, I'm told you have some Bass Ale back there!" As the bartender pushed the bottles towards him, Alaric grabbed one and downed it in six seconds flat. The second one he drank a a bit more slowly......15 seconds. After popping open the third, he turned and walked towards the Sultan..................

Emperor Victor would like to annoce his intentions to join, and to pay his fee immediately ($1000 in Errikan Credits, each credit being worth about 1.365 USD), though he shall not be able to come for some time.

Prince Khitann stiffened. Alaric Tan'it. The Xeraphian had left him cooling his heels in a cheap room for three days before sending word that he would be unable to meet with the Prince.

" Colonel, make arrangements for me to go to this country. I have a bone to pick with Tan'it."

Sakura took a seat on the lounge couch. It was quite cozy, and nice.

She was given a non-alcholoc drink, and sat back and relaxed. This was going far better than she was aticipating. Her nation had been rejected by the world many times, because of it's literal magic practices. Not to mention the rejections stirred up hatred amongst the civilans, and the Chancellor, which ended in a dual.

As Alaric headed towards the Sultan, his attention was diverted by a beautiful woman sitting on one of the couches in the lounge. 'Pretty in pink', he thought.

He caught her eye, gave her a wink, and started looking for the Sultan.

She blushed at the wink.

The Emperor finally spotted the Sultan, but he looked to be in deep conversation with two other rulers, so he turned his attention to the lady back in the lounge.

As he approached her, he smiled and held out his hand. " Hello, m'lady. Alaric Tan'it, Emperor of Xeraph. Whom do I have the pleasure of addressing?"

After his personal jet touched down in Exponent, Khitann and three guards commandeered a Hummer and headed towards the building where this Imperial Club was meeting.

They pulled up in front with the brakes squeeling and piled out. The Prince ignored the guards out front and pushed through the doors. Khitann felt the crushing grip that Tan'it had on his forearm. But he didn't show him that it was affecting him. " Azulun is not in my country. I don't know where he is. But that's not what I want to talk to you about. You left me waiting for three days to see you, and then you cancelled. I'll not be treated like that. I demand an apology."

The Black Katanan squad commander had been watching the exchange between Alaric and the Cult Prince. He wasn't particularly worried. The Emperor was more than capable of handling himself. But when the Cult Prince demanded an apology, the commander pulled his sidearm, because he knew that trouble was about to happen. If there was one thing that Alaric couldn't tolerate it was someone demanding something of him. An apology? Alaric had never apologised to anybody for anything.

The Emperor's face slowly grew red with anger, and he increased his grip on the Prince's wrist. Khitann was beginning to turn white with the pain, but he made no sound. Just when he thought he couldn't stand it another second, Alaric let him go. He pointed a finger in the Prince's face and said, " Now you get your ass out of here. The next time I see you, you had better have Azulun in chains, or I won't play as nice as I did today."

He turned his back on Khitann and resumed his conversation with Empress Sakura.

Khitann made as if to pull his sword, but suddenly felt the barrel of a gun against the base of his skull. " I wouldn't do that, sir," said the squad commander. " Don't make me ruin this nice little party by blowing your brains all over everybody. Just let go of the sword, head out the door, and go back where you came from. The Emperor will summon you if he wants to see you."

Alaric offered the Empress his arm, and they proceeded towards a long table laden with delicious-smelling food. " M'lady, is there anything in particular I can get for you?"

"Oh anything will be fine, sir." She loosend her grip on her staff feeling safer again.

As he handed her a plate of fruit, he was searching for something to say. " If I'm not mistaken, you share a region with Kurona, don't you? I think it was Kurona that was involved in that civil war in America, wasn't it?"

The Sultan was engaged with some other guests at the club when his body gaurds pulled him aside. He didn't fully realize what was happening at the time, but soon noticed the two men with the swords and guns staring fiercly at each other and realized why his gaurds had taken him into cover. He also noticed several of the specialized troops move inbetween the engaged party and him. Luckily the two seperated and tensions relaxed. The Sultan relaxed and headed twoards the large man who had seemingly won the 'fight'.

"Oh yes it was. Kurona has been very isolated for a long time, and the Princess has been trying to bring it out of isolation."

As Alaric and the Empress were conversing, he noticed out of the corner of his eye that the Sultan was heading towards them. "My Lady, would you excuse me for a minute or two? I need to speak with the Sultan."

"Hello Alaric." The Sultan said extending his hand. "I hope your evening was not spoiled by your encounter with the Prince."

" No, it's just that I hadn't had the pleasure of meeting you before. I don't get to attend many of these little gatherings and I do like to get to know the leaders of nations that I may someday be allied to."

The Chancellor then walked over to ALaric and the Sultan. "I am Chancellor Lucius Blackhelm. Welcome to Paradise City. How is everything?"

" Well, sir, yesterday I was informed by my Lord Commander that we were now the proud owners of five Imperator Class Carriers, which we purchased from Mandalore Prime. Each carrier comes with over 400 fighters, and we're going to man them for the first time with AI units. They're more efficient than humans and don't require rest or food. One carrier will be deployed to each of our colonies in the Typhon Expanse and the Taiuuen Expanse. The rest will stay in orbit for the time being above Terra."

The Sultan was pulled aside by his body gaurd who relayed a message to him. The Sultan went back up to Alaric and the Chancellor "I'm sorry gentlemen but a issue has arisen that i must tend to. Please forgive me but i must retire early tonight. I had a wonderful stay and plan on visiting again. Goodbye."

I will foot the bill for the bases, and have my AI Engineering Corps there in a few days. The base will include an embassy. I have an embassy for you in my Royal City of Tarantia. How's that sound?"

Emperor Magesha of the Black Lotus Empire entered. By his side was minister Kiku, dressed in her usual black robes and mask. Today, her mask was black, with a golden vine running accross where the nose would be, if she were not wearing a mask.

"My lord, forgive me, but I am still not certain it is safe for you to be here without at least a dozen loyal legions surrounding you." her voice has that same quiet chilling effect that always made others wonder just what she really looked like.

"No worries, you'll protect me. Besides, I myself am no failure with the Katana." Emeror Magesha said. His voice was warm, yet was also hard as steel. He looked like he was use to not being around others who might consider themselves his equals.

Alaric extended his hand. " Sounds like a plan. When the bases are finished, I'l have one of our WarHammer Battle Groups berthed at the naval base and AirWing 324 will be arriving at the AirBase."

As they again shook hands, they both noticed a strange pair walk through the door onemale, one female. The female had on a most curiousmask. ' Wonder what their deal is', Alaric thought.......

In strolled a man covered in soot, carrying a large suitcase. "Your helicopter pad is awfully close to the flagpole", he said, heading for the Chancellor, "Do you have membership forms, and a money exchange? Also, do you have someplace I can change clothes?"

"We humbly thank you for this alliance, now if you excuse me, I should go greet these new guests" the Chancellor said after shaking Alarics hand. He then walked over to the Emperor of the Black Lotus Society. "Hello, and welcome to Paradise City. I am Lucius Blackhelm."

Minister Kiku simply put her arms in her sleeves. Emperor Magesha gave a quarter bow by way of greeting.

"Greetings. It is a pleasure, to find others with whom, i might find an Equal. I am Emperor Magesha, and thir lovely young lady by my side, is Minister Kiku." Emperor Magesha said.

Minister Kiku let out a barely audible sigh that plainly said she wished for more. Emperor Magesha simply smiled a knowing smile at it. A smile that indicated his plans might lie in such a direction.

President Stephens walked into the room.

He walked up to Emperor Magesha and shook his hand.

"What a wonderful club you have here. Here please take this." He handed Emperor Magesha a briefcase. Inside was 2,600 Titawon's. "I hope this will cover the membership fees. At current exchange rates it should be about $1000," the President said and smiled.

As the Chancellor went off to greet the minister from Black Lotus Society, Alaric turned back to the Empress. " My Lady, forgive me. I didn't mean to ignore you while the Chancellor and I conducted business. Tell me, what is the significance of your staff?"

President Stephens walked into the room.

He walked up to Chancellor Blackhelm and shook his hand.

"Ah, Chancellor, what a fine establishment." The President smiled. "Please take this." The President handed a briefcase to the Chancellor. "Inside you will find 2,600 Titawon's. I hope this is enough for the membership dues. The exchange rate now adays is so high. The current rate is about 2.6 Titawons to the US dollar, I believe."

The star, for I was the first and sadly only child of my late parents, thus making me heriss to the throne, pink as it is my favorite color, and the circle, indicating the motion of the universe and a Sorcers power."

"This is getting ridiculous." thought Totrue Tufaar, removing a revolver from his suit, to shoot at the ceiling, hoping this would get some attention.

The spiral sun diplomat was instantly tackled by two Honor Guard. "We have a situation!" another shouted. He soon was in the centre of a circle of men, all pointing their AR22A3 rifles at him.

"I knew that would get you're attention." said Totrue Tufaar, rising to his feet.

The commotion caught the attention of the Chancelor. "Patience is a virtue. I am sorry I did not attend to you earlier, but welcome to Paradise City."

President Stephens let out a sigh of relief. He was glad that was taken care of. He turned to Chancellor Blackhelm and said,"Now where were we Chancellor?"

"Anyway mister President, I was just about to ask you what has been happening in your country."

"Yes, patience is especialy a virtue, when someone may be suffering from burn wounds! And I feel very welcome," Totrue Tufaar told the Chancellor, while eyeing the guards. "Here is 1,428 Supreme. That should cover the membership fees. Now do you have some place I can change?"... "I'm beinging ignored again." thought Tufaar.

"Anyway mister President, I was just about to ask you what has been happening in your country."

"Well, we are very excited about our new discovery of Uranium in our nation. We are preparing to begin mining it, how about yourself Chancellor?"

"Um..you may want to go to Paradise Hospital, they have a rather good burn center, but you can probably change in one of the guest rooms upstairs, here keys, your room is...how about number 166" the Chancellor said, pulling a set of keys from his pocket.

"Well we have just gotten over a civil war, and currently have special forces teams deployed to various locations around the globe. But tell me more of this uranium mining. Are you accepting foreign mining contracts?"

"Thank you." said Tufaar. Leaving the lobby, Tufaar quickly changed. He soon returned, wearing an asparagus green uniform, a peaked cap with a golden sun and spiral on it, a fair sized ribbon bar, and a black swagger stick, with an emerald on the tip, announcing, "Nothing to serious." He then sat in a armchair, took a swig from his silver hip flask, bearing the same golden symbol from his hat.

He then turned towards the Spiral Sun diplomat. "How about yourself, how is the Spiral Sun?"

I am not sure at the moment, I apoligise. I will contact my Secretary of Trade and commerce and get back to you."

President Stephens then joins the Chancellor and the dimplomat from Spiral Sun in conversation.

"Ahh yes, I had forgotten about that. Kiku, go get it." Magesha said.

Minister Kiku bowed and darted off. Less then a minute later, she returned, carrying a breifcase of fine japanese leather. It was very big, and seemed rather heavy for her.

Five itimidating looking samurai entered, each carrying two similar breifcases, except they were twice as heavy,

They made a motion to catch the chancellor's eye, then they put the breifcases down in an out of the way spot, and turned to leave, except for one. This one was not human, and seemed to be an evolved form of fox. His long bushy tail was held erect behind him. He wore armor that was both red and green. his gaze seemed to take in everything, and nothing. He quietly retreated to a dark corner, and watched Emperor Magesha and minister kiku.

"Pardon, but where might I find a refreshment?" he asked.

The Sultan exited the bathroom to find his drink gone, so he ordered another from the bartender. He glanced around, the place had picked up. So he lounged in a chair next to his two body gaurds in black suits next to him. 10 other urban warfare specialized troops waited outside and in the shadows of the club, one came within meters of buping into a wierd guy with a tail before one of his buddys radioed him. He started back and reported the strange warrior. Two troops came in in and took positions between the odd warrior and The Sultan. The others continued as normal, checking out new arrivals, but staying out of the way in the corners and shadows. The Sultan was Deserted Territories first leader and it would not be the best thing for the rising nation if he was injured, or say, looked at funny.

The chancellor went over to the Black Lotus Emperor. He also called over the leader from Politicka. "So what is your opinion on the Paradise Pact?"

Finally after a good hour, the President walks over with the signed paper, handing it to the Chancellor "I'm going to need a copy of this to take before the Congress for official approval, but it has been pre-approved. It'll pass." the President said exhausted, ordering another shot.
