OOC: Indeed, if it is still acceptable, I would like to stake my claim for the lands to the east of the Kraven and Erriklandian mass in central Arterus. I can RP some arrival and ensuing whatevers as soon as I discover if this is actually alive...

OOC: Zuk founded a new Arterus some time ago, but it didn't really go very long; if this is still going, which I could not be more supportive of, I will gladly sell you the island. It is largely desert, with some land being developed to suit Errikan (populating, agricultural) purposes.

From what I hear, though, Zuk is not really into NS again.

Anyway, if he's not around to run the thread, that'll probably put a damper on my getting anything new. However, that island is yours, and if you want to sell it, that's our business.

OOC: He has historically frowned upon even inviting people into Arterus without his approval . . . still, if he is not on NS now, he probably wouldn't mind, as it is not realistic to want us to seek that approval.

You should make an offer, as I'm not really sure how much I want for it (it will all wind up going in my savings anyway). A couple questions: of the two million people living there, 'bout a million will definitely leave, most of them being Errikan citizens who are not strongly attached to it. However, much of the remainder, some of them being Errikans who are embedded, some of them being settlers from elsewhere in the Empire, about 450,000 of them being native to the island, would be less inclined to leave. We could make all of them but the latter group to leave, or you could just take sovereignty over them.

OOC: The Dominion is fully willing to allow the natives (being all who stay over after your departure) to maintain their lives as they were before. Initially, all we need is to establish the garrison presence there, and it will serve as a direct extension of the Dominion. Later, it will be given a compound network, and a Commandery established, whereupon it will become a complete Foreign District.

Anyway, from what we've seen, the Errikan Southern Arterus colony is about 360,000 kilometers square. As it is, it's not square, but that's close enough. We'll offer you ten-thousand Universal Standard Dollars per square kilometer, for a total of three-point six billion.
