[Forgive my stupidity- I'm rather confused regarding the Nakil's production rights. You said they're not given, but is that for domestic production, international export only or just production rights of those specific technologies? Since you gave production rights to Uldarious, I'm assuming it's one of the latter two]

The Democratic Republic of Hamilay wishes to purchase the following items:

- 100,000 units Nakil 1A1 (900,000,000,000). If possible, we wish to obtain the rights to produce further Nakil tanks domestically. We will consult Kreigzimmer for further replacements and purchase of the armour and active protection system; however, we wish to replace the barrel, ammunition, suspension and propellant components not included in production rights with Hamilayan standards. To facilitate speedy and convenient maintainance of the Kriegzimmer-only parts, we would be happy to provide funding for Kreigzimmer to establish facilities on the Republic's soil. We also wish to replace the 5.66mm GPMG and co-axial guns with 7.62mm M240s.

- 60,000 units Arica 1. Shalmaneser HAPC (192,000,000,000) (Production rights desired as above, all components to remain as Kreigzimmer-designated standard)

- Domestic production rights to the SRE.14 TLB (260,000,000)

- Domestic production rights to the TXI.14 AAH (280,000,000)

- Domestic production rights to the Sieren Tank Destroyer (400,000,000)

for a total of 1092.94 billion dollars.
Our thanks in advance.

Kriegzimmer Ceases to Exist

[OOC: This happens somewhere around mid-2017; Nakíls exported will still be exported. Hamilay, the only production rights offered are limited production rights which allow you to produce the tank for a cheaper price at home - i doesn't let you build unlimited copies; only those which you pay us for. That means that each tank must be paid for, even if they are cheaper than usual. It allows Nakíls to be exported faster, given the large amoun to production. Your order is confirmed - you will be the last sale; all other orders up to now are confirmed, as well. Nakíls can still be purchased through the Nakíl thread.]

After over a decade of service, Kriegzimmer announces its closing. Unfortunately, factories in Praetonia, Corzia, Halberdgardia, Spizania and McKagan will be demolished and the land returned to the State (the countries that leased it to Kriegzimmer). This will put over 700,000 workers out of business, but the most likely case is that a new arms export company take over and reemploy them. Nevertheless, Kriegzimmer has closed in response to the request of the Empire and has turned-over still existing factories in the Empire, Space Union, Hailandkill, Allanea and Pushka (allied states) to small production conglomerates and armament companies once existant under Kriegzimmer. The Empire requires export to be focused towards the state and the proliferation of armaments to dozens of countries worldwide has compromised the superiority of the Fuermak (armed forces). This does not mean that exports will not continue - but they will done conventionally and between states. That means that the armament business becomes the first industry in the Empire to break the committment to Absolute Capitalism and has become more or less state run, although they remain under private leadership.

Kriegzimmer has established itself as the leading enterprise of the Empire, and has spearheaded the Empire's massive economy. However, it has no longer remained tactful to sell the Empire's armaments without consideration. Nevertheless, we are proud to close only after selling our masterpiece - the Nakíl. Before our closing we turned the Nakíl, probably the best tank on the market, into the most selling tank, and probably product, in history, with 1,830,360 units exported abroad (some of these resold). The Nakíl will spill over 2,000,000 units sold with the end of export of the Nakíl 1A2 to Allanea and Mer des Ennuis - that completes orders at 2.2 million. The tank has also been sold to Space Union and Willink in small numbers. Furthermore, the tank is still being exported by the State (the 1A1) and upgrades will still be designed for export. Perhaps the Nakíl will remain the last product of Kriegzimmer to truly be remembered and still be sold for decades to come. It is, after all, the manifestation of what power Kriegzimmer truly wielded. Never has such a product seen so much success.

We are happy to announce, despite the glum news, that all orders that have been placed will still be honoured by the State. However, no new orders will be taken The Empire will only sell to those that are deemed allied (well, anybody can buy, but from specific threads or on IRC).

With that said, we bid you all good luck.

With Kriegzimmer gone, if i were to get going on NS properly it would be pretty hard finding another military sales company, nothing measures up to the Nakil. True NS genius!

Greetings friend! It is good to see that you are taking orders once more. We have a rather hefty order that we wish fulfilled here, and we hope that it can be shipped to us quickly. A hundred thousand Shockhound Avenger missiles and ten thousand Sledgehammer II missiles. The total price should come out to $74,000,000,000 for the Sledgehammers and $110,000,000,000 for the Shockhounds. We know this is a very large order, but we are willing to double the price if rush delivery is possible.

It is good to see that your company is now taking orders again. I have waited for this day to upgrade my own private forces with your weapons of war. There are weapons within the Black Wolves' arsenal from Kriegzimmer, but they are old Hali-21 part-variant assault rifles. So, in this order, I’ll be adding to the Black Wolves' arsenal.

100,000 Hali-42 assault rifles = 320,000,000 USD
25,000 GH-31 12.7mm high power sniper rifles = 225,000,000 USD

Total: 545,000,000 USD

I think that's all. Money will be wired after order has been confirmed.

We can produce the Shockhound Avengers, specifically for you, at a rate of fifty thousand per month, meaning that the order should be complete within two months. The order for Sledgehammer IIs will also be completed within two months, and all of it shipped together. We hope that this time schedule is acceptable. The Vetakan League of Business was formed 12 months ago by a group of 25 business people. Their aim is to further their overall profit. The League's members own a number of companies within Vetaka as well as owning the Production Rights for the OBSAT system.

The League wishes to know whether the Kriegzimmer Export Company is for sale. The League would be interested in taking over the company, its assets and all its current operating complex's around the world.

Would The Vetakan League of Buisness be a group that would be deemed as a suitable buyer? If you would be prepared to do business may we begin negotiation as soon as possibe.

Welcome to Kriegzimmer! Before giving you a schedule table for your order we would like to take the time to answer your question about production rights. Unfortunately, we only offer production rights to nations on the guest list. This is especially true for the Nakíl 1A1. We only offer limited production rights, which means you must tell us how many you are producing (OOC: This is to keep track of how many have been exported). That said, we are happy to confirm your order. You may locally produce the Nakíl 1A1, if you'd like - if not, it will take around fifteen months to complete the order. It will take a similar amount of time to complete the order of Arica. Is and a bit less to produce all of the SOV.17s, although they will all be shipped together in a series of shipments. Kriegzimmer can purchase your Shalmanesar heavy armored personnel carriers, although this will not be close to the price originally paid for. Nevertheless, Kriegzimmer will buy them back (most likely these will be purchased by the Ejermacht and used for target practice). Regarding the order of SOV.17s, the order has been confirmed without question. All vehicles will be produced within the compounds of our Allanean factories - the order should take around 3.2 years to complete. We are honored to still provide your armed forces with our equipment.

The Nakíl 1A1 will be upgraded before I leave to Nakíl 1A3 status (for the general customer), which will bring it close to Nakíl 1A2 status. We assure you that you are guaranteed to be served well by everything you purchase from us. It will take ~fifteen months to finish the Nakíl order, ~16 to finish the Shalmaneser order and the same for the SOV.17 order. Kriegzimmer actually prefers our customers to have limited production rights. What we consider LPRs is that you have the right to build the amount of units explicitly mentioned in your order - for example, you would have the right to build those 75,000 Nakíls at home with the changed you would like. It would actually come out cheaper per unit, since we do not have to put our own man hours and shipping time into the endeavor. We await further contact. Thank you for your business.

Hali-53 Multi-Service Assault Rifle [Five-Three M-SAR]

http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i291/Macabees/Hardware/Macsriflenew-2.png
[Drawn by Cravan]

Saga of the .221 Orchomenos
The .221 was introduced as the principle round of the Ejermacht with the release of relatively unconventional Hali-42 assault rifle. In fact, the entire package had spiraled away from prior rifle convention (the Hali-21). This rifle completely replaced the Ejermacht's rifle by 2014 and saw wide export. Ultimately, the rifle would see service in the War of Golden Succession (May 2016 - May 2018) in which several of its faults would be revealed - most of these faults were relevant to the .221 Orchomenos, not surprisingly. Almost immediately after the Treaty of Aurillac a general review of the rifle was funded by the Fuermak (armed forces). This review was tasked with pinpointing the problems of the Hali-42 and assisting the Ejermacht in providing a number of requirements for a future assault rifle. The task force operated between August 2018 and November 2019, with a white paper prepared for the government by January 2020.

Generally, all criticism of the .221 suggested that the round was by far too small for successful application as an assault rifle caliber. It was found that there were literally tens of thousands of complaints that in close quarter battles the .221 round was far too fast, and far too small, and would normally end in a through-and-through hit of the enemy soldier. Even though the round used a barbette in order to increase the damage inside the body, the barbette was not large enough to slow down the bullet, or damage the man enough to take him down in one shot. Consequently, it was found that many times it would take three to four bullets to bring down a man, ending in many more Imperial deaths - given that the enemy had more time to fire back, between the time of the first shot and the time he was taken down. Moreover, there were examples of wounded Havenic soldiers being tended to and being sent right into battle after they had been shot once or twice.

At longer ranges the .221 was found to be far more successful, as the bullet had time to slow down prior to impact. In fact, during the war there was an attempt to supply new .221 ammunition to troops destined to fight in Havenic cities during the Second Empire's advance south. It was found that logistically this was all but impossible, and not entirely feasible.

The task force also noted that the rifle within itself was far too complicated. For example, troops in the field found it hard to fix small problems and most of the time the rifle had to be exchanged for a brand new rifle, while the old rifle was sent back to the factory to be rebuilt. Ultimately this meant time and money - money that was not necessarily available. The main problem was the fact that the rifle used a binary liquid propellant with a caseless round. This meant that the liquid had to be stored in the rifle (making it less ergonomic) and pumped into the combustion chamber. Frequent problems with the pumps plagued early production versions of the rifle, and although the problem was tended to over the years the system was never liked by the personnel on the ground. Furthermore, despite the fact that the rifle fully armed was lighter due to the use of a liquid propellant, the fact remained that the storage cells in the rifle were bulky, making the rifle less ergonomic and harder to handle. In fact, it took a lot of experience and training to work around the poor physical design of the rifle.

The principle problems found in the Hali-42 soon found themselves as key points for the requirements outlined by the Ejermacht.

New requirements for a future rifle
Between January and March 2020 the Ejermacht outlined a series of requirements for various small-arms companies. These included:

- A new rifle caliber, superior in performance to the .221 Orchomenos and to existing 5.56mm assault rifle ammunitions.
- No more than 4.5kg empty.
- Solid propellant.
- Low recoil.
- Suppressed muzzle flash.

Two foreign companies and four indigenous companies offered their prototypes to the Ejermacht by February 2021. The two foreign companies were Izistan's Robertson Arms and Spizania's Confederate Armaments Incorporated. Despite the purchase of four X-4 (X denotes that the rifles were prototypes. Each of the three indigenous rifles were named X-1 through X-3, and Spizania's the X-5) rifles from Robertson Arms and fairly successful testing between March and July 2022 it was decided not to purchase the X-4 due to inferior ballistic performance of the Izistani round to the 6.64x51mm round used by the X-2 and X-3. Furthermore, the X-4 used a caseless round which after the experiences with the Hali-42 were not favored. The same remained true for Confederate Arms Incorporated's X-5, as well as the fact that it was far too unconventional for the taste of the Ejermacht - especially after the experience of using the Hali-42.

Ultimately, it was found that the best rifle with the best balance of old and new technologies was the X-2.

Birth of the Hali-5X project
In August 2021 the Ejermacht signed a contract in which it was stated that the government would fund the remainder of the development of the X-2 and would promise to purchase at least 100,000 rifles upon completion of the prototype. It was also agreed upon that the company designing the rifle (Gíert et Ber) would make substantial changes to the prototype. These included:

- Changing several materials in rifle construction to lighten its weight.
- Changing the standard cased round for a cased telescopic round to decrease weight further.
- Development of at least three separate rounds for the rifle.
- The rifle would have to be complete for production by January 2022.

The new rifle was given the name of Hali-5X and by September 2021 a new prototype had been delivered to the Ejermacht. In early October a further ten rifles were produced for testing, which continued until the end of the month. Minor modifications were made to the rifle between late October and December 2021, in preparation for production in January, unfortunately several glitches were found. The most important was the fact that the cased telescopic round designed for the rifle did not fully extend during flight, severely limiting the effectiveness of the round. Furthermore, the round was using an older solid propellant as opposed to the new solid propellant which had been offered to Gíert et Ber for modification into the ammunition. Fortunately, the contract was extended for another four months.

Modifications and testing continued and the round was finally ready for production by June 2022. Upon production the rifle was dubbed the Hali-53.

A new caliber is chosen
The Ejermacht ultimately chose the 6.64x51mm cased round as its next small-arms caliber, with the idea of equaling the power of a larger round in order to increase lethality. Ultimately, the increase in weight and the decrease in the amount of rounds in each magazine was solved with the use of cased telescoping ammunition which saved around 30% of the volume in comparison to a magazine holding conventional rounds of the same caliber. To further decrease weight each round uses a new polymer case which reduced individual round weight by over 20%.

The new case is manufactured out of two separate polymers. A 60% glass fiber filled polymer is the principle component, injected by the low-core technique. This polymer is reinforced by minor metallic inserts. A more ductile polymer is subsequently injected to fill the shoulder, mouth and neck areas of the round. This system solves several problems of existing polymer cases, including poor reliability. Furthermore, the system is not more expensive than using a brass case and saves more weight.

Ultimately, the use of both polymer casings and CTA technology allow the rifle to save a lot of weight in regards to its ammunition. Most importantly, it allows the rifle to be just as effective as other contemporaries (or more effective, even).

Three rounds were introduced along with the Hali-53. The first is the 6.64x51mm Orchomenos. This round is designed as the general use all-around bullet to be supplied in the most quantities. It is designed for penetration of the majority of existing infantry armors protecting the troops of foreign threats. The round is a tungsten-cored. copper jacketed round. The purpose of the round is speed and penetration. The round weighs ~7.8 grams and uses a 2 gram propellant. The second round is the 6.64x51mm PELE, which is designed with a high density jacket and a low density core. The idea is during impact the jacket bursts due to the low-compressibility of the core's material. The end result is a large amount of fragments bursting into the body, increasing the lethality of the weapon. This round is specifically designed for use against unarmored opponents. The third major round is the armor piercing 6.64x60mm flechette designed for penetration of thicker battle suits and power armor.

Several other rounds were also designed, including:

-6.64mm grenade
-6.64mm tracer
-6.64mm NL (non-lethal)

All combat rounds use a newly designed solid propellant to decrease weight and increase power. The best solid propellant for small arms use was found to be one composed of 25% nitrocellulose (NC), 45% cyclotrimethylenetrinitrimine (RDX) and 6% Glycidyl Azide Polymer (GAP), with other components. Originally a substance called TAGN had been included, but a low flame temperature was found not to be suitable for assault rifle application to avoid cook-offs. The main purpose was to find a highly dense solid propellant with high energy and a high rate of expansion - in other words, more velocity.

Rifle Operation
The Hali-42's operation was delayed blowback, and the original X-2 prototype by Gíert and Ber used the same system. However, in an effort to reduce recoil and improve accuracy it was decided to change the rifle operation to what is regarded as 'balanced automatics'. Balanced automatics is an extension of the short-stroke gas-operated, rotating-bolt mechanism of the AK-47. Instead of having just one gas-piston, balanced automatics uses two gas-pistons moving in opposite directions, meaning that the operator only feels the recoil created by the momentum of the forward moving bullet. The addition of this new system was a factor to the run over costs of the rifle program and to the retardation of the date for initial production. However, testing in early 2022 proved the value of 'balanced automatics'.

The Hali-5X was tested against the Hali-42 and the original Hali-5X using the same operating mechanism as the Hali-42. All three rifles were tested with a thirty-round mag of their respective calibers and were all tested on automatic fire. The Hali-42 managed to put three out of thirty rounds on target, while the original prototype of the Hali-5X put five out of thirty rounds on target. However, the new Hali-5X using balanced automatics successfully trained nineteen out of thirty bullets on target (all at 100 meters).

The ejection port of the rifle is located at the front of the weapon, and empty cases are ejected forward, allowing the rifle to be ambidextrous.

Scope
When the Ejermacht offered its requirements for a brand new assault rifle to several armaments companies, foreign and indigenous, it offered a separate list of requirements for new optic system for the rifle. The only company able to meet up to the Ejermacht's expectations proved to be Eldíen Electro-Optical Works. Eldíen had existed under the Kriegzimmer Conglomerate and then had become an independent company post-break up. It had worked on much of the electro-optics used on Kriegzimmer battleships and super dreadnoughts. A series of six different optics were offered, the differences dependent on cost. These competed against a total of thirty-nine other optics systems, including sixteen which were designed by foreign companies.

Eldíen's optics, which were ultimately chosen for contract, included a 1X red dot mode for close quarter combat (CQB), with the option to switch to up to 4X magnification using a cased reticule with adjustable brightness. The sight also included bullet drop compensation for ranges beyond 700 meters. The sights can be used with both eyes open, and is completely shock proof. Furthermore, even if part of the lens is covered with mud, or is shattered, the shooter can still accurately use the system if he/she can see through any surviving piece of the lens. The rifle operator can see this because a laser diode projects the target as a hologram image onto a hardened, three layer laminated glass window. This optical sights measures ~156mm in length and weighs ~390 grams.

For greater tactical flexibility an off-axis viewing device (OAVD) is also standard with the rifle. The system works by using two oval-shaped mirros to reflect the image from the rifle's optical sight to the soldier. This allows the soldier to literally look around corners. OAVDs within the Ejermacht are normally issued only during urban operations to provide soldiers with greater protection. Each OAVD extension measures 150mm and weighs 500 grams and can be clipped to the existing sight.

Rifle Construction
The rifle is relatively light due to the increased usage of plastics as construction material. The barrel, however, remains of steel construction, although the bolt and bolt carrier are manufactured out of titanium. The receiver is built out of composite polymer. The ultimate aim was to construct a rifle with the least weight possible for greater ergonomics.

[Gataway: Post the design in one post on this thread, like I do with my designs, and I'll link it to the front page.

ThePeoplesFreedom: Well, the light tank was developed when we were producing the Cougar as our main battle tank. The cougar was 90 tonnes+ and couldn't operate on some soils, including Zarbias. It was produced to replace our Cougars in that type of soil, although about three-four months later the Nakíl replaces the Cougar and the light tank is no longer necessary. I was supposed to release an upgrade of the light tank, to allow it to compete on a more equal footing against main battle tanks, but still haven't done it.

Even if you have access to a main battle tank, light tanks are sometimes superior. A good real-life example is Argentina. In the late 70s and 80s Argentina decided to procure the TAM (basically a light tank) over existing main battle tanks because it was the only tank that could be used on the soft soil of the Patagonia, the jungle terrain of Brazil and the mountainous terrain to the East (Andes mountains). It needs some upgrading, but it still serves the original role.]

GAI-Sanctuary System-The Sanctuary system utilizes the use of several sensors designed to pick up the UV or infrared Radar or Sonar signatures used by guided munitions to lock on to a target. The Sanctuary system first alerts the crew that a lock-on has been confirmed, secondly the Sanctuary system then uses a series of infrared jamming pulses to disrupt the incoming munitions tracking device. Further disruption is caused when the Sanctuary system ejects several pods that emit different frequencies which further disrupt the lock on capability of the incoming munition as well as masking the signature of the protected unit by causing its signature to blend in with that of the background.

GAI-Storm System-The storm system is another counter munition system which uses a series of sensors with Doppler radar and infrared scanners to pick up on incoming rounds..the system then rapidly process the trajectory of the incoming round and fires a barrage of projectiles towards the round which have been pre-set to detonate in front above and below the incoming round spraying it with several shot gun like blasts causing the incoming round to detonate a safe distance from the protected unit. The storm system also deploys the same pods the sanctuary system does along with several aerosol canisters to disrupt incoming munitions should they be guided and add further protection.

GAI-Eagle gun system- The eagle gun system is designed to allow for infantry men to remain within the safety of the vehicle while being able to return accurate fire..the Eagle gun system accomplishes this by the use of a gun cam with night/day thermal imaging as well as laser range finder, also the eagle system utilizes a gyroscopic stabilizing system allowing for accurate fire even while moving across rough terrain. The system also features an auto-engage feature that allows the system to engage targets via thermal imaging

GAI-Tacmap system-The Tacmap system is a system that allows units in the field to receive vital intel eg. current enemy/friendly locations, terrain features allows constant real time updates between command centers and units in the field or unit to unit updates with a maximum of a .5-2 second delay in feeds

GAI-Search and Destroy system-The search and destroy system is integrated with the tac map system. The S&D system utilizes both acoustic and optical sensors that pick up the shock wave of a round, the system then calculates where the shot came from along with elevation, the system issues both an audio and visual warning via tacmap system alerting the crew to the shooters location, when integrated with the Eagle gun system if the auto-engage system is active then upon determining the shooters location the Eagle system can then

GAI-Golden Eye System-
For Recon variant the golden eye system provides enhanced thermal day/night imaging/detection systems, electronic interception/jamming systems as well as advanced acoustic detection systems

It really depends on how you want your armed forces to look like. Being that you are a relatively small country, you may want a relatively small army. It depends on whether you want a small, well funded armed forces, or a somewhat larger not so well funded armed forces. I would be happy to continue speaking with you, so just keep writing back and we will discuss as much as necessary. :)

The Macabees
29-04-2007, 19:17
I suggest that, until your population grows, you base your Army on the brigade. I would create maybe 2 corps, until you hit ~100 million, and create another corps - when you're around 300 million you may max it out to maybe 5 or 6 corps, and then reorganize your Army to divisions, as opposed to brigades - or you can make your brigades larger, and put more of them in one corps. Brigades are more flexible, and with today's weapons they can provide as much firepower as a WWII division could. To make it simple, I'd say each corps should have the following:

1 armor brigade
2 mechanized infantry brigades

And then all the services which I'm missing. Engineering battalions, signals companies. In regards to artillery, I don't whether you rather attach them to the brigades, or create separate battalions. If you make them separate battalions I suggest a battalion of artillery for each brigade.

Each armor brigade could have, maybe, 130 medium tanks (main battle tanks), and maybe around 4,000 mechanized infantry for support - with enough armored personnel carriers to ferry them into battle. Then, if you integrate artillery into the brigade you could have 4 batteries of 12 pieces per battery - 48 pieces total.

In the end, it would be a small force - but you could equip it with the very best equipment. It would be enough for defense. Once you gain population size you can think about expanding your army and making it larger, if you want to project power. You will probably want elite forces and special forces, and these wouldn't form part of any corps. You could have a third corps for just airmobile brigades - have 2 airmobile brigades in 1 corps. And then special forces would be completely different, organized into 'groups'.

What do you think?

Well, Macabee's....I do have 2 billion and with the 5% taken for my military, I have around 105,700,000, to use. Or did you already know that? And for brigades, is it made up of battalions or regiments?

Dear Sirs, Misses, Ma'ams, or whomever this concerns.

The timetable suggested will be perfectly fine, and if it's acceptable as well, we'd like to double the order to 40,000 Kahns and 2,000 Falling hammers for use in recently colonized areas, and I'd hope that the same time table can be kept (roughly 500 Kahns and 25 Falling Hammers a month if I did my math correctly). As well, would it be acceptable to create a payment plan where each month the department deposits the cost for the missiles to be built? (In a less confusing form, 1st day of month one, the cost of the 500 Kahns and 25 Falling Hammers is deposited, and is continued each month until the whole program is completed).

As well, once the design for the Nakil 1A3 is completed, we'd like to at least have our order in the system for a total of 100,000 units along with the return of 70,000 Nakil 1A1s which the 1A3 will replace. (if this is satisfactory, would the same payment plan for the missiles be acceptable for these units?)

Thanks for your time

Well, actually, I think I am going to go with 10 million max for my military, as me and TPF agree its easier to start off that way. With that, my people will also be elite.

Anyways, my armed forces are around army: 4.5 million and Marines: 500,000. So suggestions on that would be nice.

About equipment, what kinds of vehicles, ships, and aircraft should I buy and how many?

Thanks for the help so far.

Telros, for some reason I thought we were still in 2006, so I thought you were a relatively new nation. 5% of your population in the military should still be reserved for war-time duty. If you want your economy to run well and still have a fairly powerful military you should probably maximize at 2% of your population. Even during wartime only .004% of my population was in the military (~40 million), although it would have continued growing if necessary.

If your total army strength is 4.5 million, and for simplicity we say a logistics ratio to front line ratio of 4:1 that is 1,125,000 front line soldiers (all combat personnel, basically). This is pretty good for a peace time army. Your army reserve will probably be larger, and during a large war you can conscript like I did. Regardless, with an army that large I would use division sized units, as opposed to brigade size.

I don't know if you're following, so if you are, just write back. :P

The Republic is preparing an air offensive against the Havenic forces. Our fleet of Su-35K fighters, although still sizeable, has been grounded for lack of spare parts, fuel, and ammunition. In addition, we have purchased 10,000 Space Union Talon UCAVs, although more will be needed to replace losses in the future. We have considered your two UCAV designs, but they are too expensive and not autonomous enough for our tastes. We have the following requests:

- Enough ammunition, fuel, and spare parts for our 1,000 Su-35K (fictional) fighters. If you lack this Russian equipment, you may order it from a third party.
- 30,000 Harpoon SSMs and oil for our ~300 cruisers and auxiliary vessels
- 10,000-20,000 (as many as possible) UCAVs. We prefer them to be cheap (under $10 million), able to operate autonomously, and able to carry at least two air-to-air missiles, or, at the same time, two air-to-ground munitions. (Space Union isn't posting so I can't buy from him, but basically I'm describing his Talon UCAV)

Stevidian naval presence to the east of Athiesism remains strong, but they have no forces at all to the west or south. A lightly-escorted Space Union convoy has already made it to Athiesism after beating back a Stevidian air attack. With sufficient escort, your convoy should have no difficutly arriving in Athiesism.

Kriegzimmer can purchase spare parts for several non-Kriegzimmer designs from third parties, but inevitably the cost for your nation (even assuming lend-lease) will be larger. We don't mean to be sound stingy, but the money owed to us post-war will be large, even if you are receiving much of your equipment leased in exchange for bases in your country. It is one thing for us to manufacture it, and it is completely another for us to buy it from another company to give to you. Nevertheless, it can be done.

Currently, we have no air to air UCAVs, and we do not believe that full autonomy can be reached with any UCAV design and this current point in time.

Our convoys are reaching the Merkar Republic fine through the south. Pretty soon the Stevidian naval presence will be weakened by the entrance of Imperial forces at Otium Aqua, together with Mekugian naval forces in the area.

We understand that our postwar debt will be massive. We also understand that the survival of Athiesism is at stake, and without the needed military supplies, a Havenic victory is inevitable in this theatre. Already, 150,000 Stevidian soldiers have an uncontested hold on Bigtoa. Merkari Army morale has been broken, and even with the arrival of naval help, it will be some time before allied forces can secure the seas around Athiesism. Without an air force, Athiesism is hopelessly vulnerable to the Havenic marines.

Your arguments against the third-party purchase of arms and munitions are very valid. However, we require supplies of oil, fuel, and spare parts for our Macabbean equipment. We will purchase Standard SAMs, Harpoon SSMs, and Russian aircraft equipment from other sellers, and we would like these to be included with the next supply convoy you send us, as the Merkari navy is currently in a defensive posture and unable to perform the escort. We will pay you $5 billion for your trouble.

[ Sorry if this is a stupid question but do I need to buy missiles for the Praetorian IIs separately? ]

New Manthian Central Command would like to make the following small order. This purchase is intended for an emergency reinforcement of our troops in a recently claimed colony, something that our military had originally planned to handle using our preexisting materiel. However, New Manth has found itself under attack and as such most domestically produced resources are needed in the mainland.

Due to the unforeseen nature of this purchase and the vulnerable state of our overseas personell at this moment, we are keeping the initial order small in hopes that it can be manufactured quickly or taken out of preexisting stock, and we are willing to pay extra for speedy delivery. Accomodations can be made for either large airborne cargo craft or shipping, as long as you let us know ahead of time. Finally we would be quite interested in expanding our order later, when time is not such a pressure.

We would like to purchase:

20 Hyena Tank Destroyers - $ 200 Million
100 Nakil 1 Main Battle Tanks - $ 900 Million
200 Praetorian II Mobile SAM Batteries - $340 Million
120,000 ATG-44 antitank mines - $36 Million
100 Sledgehammer II Anti-Shipping Cruise Missiles - $740 Million

Total Base Cost: $2.216 Billion. Let us know if a swifter-than-normal delivery is possible and if so, what the charge will be.

We're glad that the Hali-53 has been seen as an acceptable replacement rifle, and a contender against Doomingsland's own rifles. Of course, the two rifles have their differences in design considerations. If 40 million rifles are to be produced, total production cost would be reduced dramatically due to the large quantity of production - the cost for production would probably be closer to ~138 billion. Is Kahanistan looking to indigenously produce these rifles? We were unsure on what was expected - indigenous production is fine, and is probably favored, allowing our factories to produce more for other customers. We hope to hear from you, on this subject, soon. Nonetheless, regarding the remainder of your order.

The 50 Naram-Sin bombers can be completed at a rate of 5 every month, for a total of ten months worth of production. The 10,000 Praetorian IIs can be produced for your nation at a rate of 2,000 per month, for a total time of five months. The two requests for production rights have been approved, and all of that will be sent immediately.

Today your nation has made a powerful acquisition of armaments from Kriegzimmer. The improvement of your armed forces and supremacy in the areas of purchase have been guaranteed. Thank you for your continued business with Kriegzimmer. It continues to be an honor.

[OOC: Nah, I don't care about modifications. In fact, I like it when people modify my tank designs as it makes it more realistic.]

We fully understand the situation your nation is currently in - Kriegzimmer has experienced it before, as Imperial soil was occupied by the Havenic hordes for around six months worth of time. If at all possible we would suggest to purchase ordnance developed by Kriegzimmer for ease of access and production, and ease of transport. Given the fact that the Empire and Space Union are allies in this war, it should not be a problem to reach some type of agreement in which Kriegzimmer would be able to shuffle spare parts for their aircraft in service with the Merkar Republic.

In regards to convoys, convoys will continue to ship supplies of all kinds at regular intervals. It seems as if none of our enemies have currently contested our convoys - even if many can't. Kriegzimmer is currently in progress with suggesting to Fedala that they allot more sea power to convoy duty, however. Nevertheless, you will receive all that you need - without question.

We do not require a specific date for payment. That said, the 1,400 GF.15 UCAVs will be shipped within next month's convoy.

We hope that you are able to keep in touch with Kriegzimmer on the progress of your requirements.

Welcome to Kriegzimmer! We're glad that you have chosen Kriegzimmer to at least partially supplement the resources used by your colonial occupational forces. Although smaller orders can be completed faster, it should be taken into consideration the size of Kriegzimmer's factories on foreign soil (sometimes the size of countries), consequently our ability to manufacture overshadows that of most other armament industries. We are possibly the largest exporting company in the world, and although we no longer own all individual factories, they are all under our exporting conglomeration and we can prioritize orders and what not.

Regardless, the current order has been confirmed. The 20 tank destroyers will be manufactured with a week, and shipped immediately. The 100 Nakíl 1A1s will be produced brand-new and will be ready within three weeks. The same remains true for the Praetorian IIs, anti-tank mines and anti-shipping missiles.

We hope this time table is acceptable.

We intend to produce the Hali-53 domestically in as large numbers as we are able to without compromising the construction of other firearms or weapons such as the GLI-76 or SPAA-1.

We believe that the construction of a Kriegzimmer factory in Metzuda, the capital of Havenic Kahanistan, would be most useful for the production of more weapons from your corporation.

Further, I believe we forgot to request DPR's (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=9818755&postcount=678) for the Praetorian series of missiles which our Praetorian II launchers would use, in addition to DPR (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=9845559&postcount=726) for the AAM series of missiles. 36.4 billion USD has already been wired to Kriegzimmer.

Our friends within the Griffincrest Corporation have spoken well of your wares and so we have decided to come to you for our defences along the newly constructed Sea Wall. The order will be rather large, but I feel that your factories can handle the order. We will first require four thousand Sledgehammer II missiles and if it is at all possible we will pay for your engineers to come over and install their silos. We would also like to produce these missiles at home so as to reduce the strain on your factories. Next we will require five hundred of the Khan class missiles, and if possible, engineers to help install these along the wall as well. Finally, we will require a hundred 400mm railguns. We will use our own engineers and they will be placed at one every five miles. The cost of the project, while it will be very expensive, has already been calculated, and the funds have been accounted out of the three trillion dollars set aside for the wall's construction. Thank you, and we hope to see these weapons soon.

First off, we would like to confirm the sale of production rights to the P.746.X series of missiles and to the AAM series of missiles, in order to get it out of the way. All required information will be shipped immediately and you may begin production as soon as your factories have the means to do so machinery wise.

In regards to your suggestion of a Kriegzimmer sponsored factory in Metzuda, that would be splendid. How much land is available for purchase? Cost is not an issue, as production output is bound to pay for the cost in a very short while. Politically, we are also interested how sound such an idea would be. How are relations with Allanea? Allanea hosts the largest Kriegzimmer factories, and they are very important clients. Although all should understand that we sell to who we wish, and not to who are politically bound in whatever political web our clients may have, we would like to avoid problems in the future by clearing any political situation up early.

Furthermore, there is a more touchy situation. What about the Midlonian occupation?

Welcome back to Kriegzimmer! We're glad about all the good reputation we are receiving from our clients. Before anything is confirmed, you can be reassured that our factories can handle any order of any size. The 4,000 Sledgehammer IIs can be manufactured within four months, and firing silos for them manufactured simultaneously by hired civilian construction crews. We would prefer to mobilize from the local population for all basic labor; professionals will be from Kriegzimmer.
If your country allows this, Kriegzimmer can start construction almost immediately since there should be no waiting time for the importation of labor. We can allow for the production of Sledgehammers by your own factories as long as you mention to us (in an order post) how many you plan to construct.

The 500 Kahns will be manufactured in the same time span, although the silos will take some more time to construct (larger and more complex). The rail guns can be delivered within 8 months.

General Malakov is facing some political difficulties at the moment; however, I can answer your queries.

We have an abandoned construction site we intended as a base north of Metzuda, but it proved unnecessary and the construction was abandoned. Completed buildings could easily be converted to weapons facilities, and some of the defenses are complete. The base measures at nine square kilometers.

Our relations with the Allaneans are still good; they are currently assisting us in the recapture of our Middle Eastern territory from the evil Doomani.

As for the Midlonian situation, it might be inaccurate to term it an "occupation;" we voluntarily accepted protectorate status for security against further Papist aggression, though we voted to take a more independent course of action to remain neutral when war looked likely to break out with Whyatica, and to secure Whyatican diplomatic assistance in retrieving persons of interest from Doomingsland. While I am not familiar with the details of the arrangement made with the Midlonian government, they are currently attacking the government over a display of Kahanistanian nationalism endorsed by a member of our Senate.

Currently, the Presidential Palace and Foreign Ministry are under attack, and the Defense Ministry and most of the rest of the government are heavily fortified.

Although we understand the general gist of the situation, we are still worried about political backlash which could come from Midlonia. We don't know how the Midlonian government currently controls armament imports by the Kahanistani national army, although it looks as if they have almost none (given your current procurements from Kriegzimmer). In any case, construction of the factory will begin and continue until we are asked (or paid) to get out.

The most severe fighting is taking place inside the capital itself; neither side is targeting infrastructure. The Midlonians have given some weapons to our forces, but exercise minimal if any control over our imports.

Their objective is to capture the government, not to impose hardship on the people; they did after all help us. I cannot foresee any difficulty with them in establishing a factory; the worst case scenario I can foresee is that the facility will fuel the economy of a pro-Midlonian collaborationist government rather than the present one.

We cannot conceive that the Midlonians would attack Kriegzimmer assets, but the site would be within rapid response of two other bases, and we will allow Kriegzimmer security to bring whatever weapons they deem necessary.

This would possibly the first order we reject. We would like to justify are rejection of the order to make sure there is no future miscommunication. We do not feel that it would profit our company to order the manufacturers to begin construction of the ten ships. We feel that the current problems in your country are far too complex for us to delve into them, and we would prefer there be political stability in Hataria before we begin exporting to it.

Great. Now for another order.

We require 100 standard Carrier Battlegroups (yes, that's one hundred), with LU-12 Tactical Strike Fighters instead of Black Mariahs. We expect this to cost the same 1,645 billion dollars, paid out over the period of production.

The payment plan is fine, however, we would suggest against the procurement of the Lu-12. The Lu-12 has recently been taken off our catalogue, although we can still manufacture it. Nevertheless, as a naval strike aircraft the GLI-76 is completely superior to the Lu-12 and will, in the future, receive the upgrades - not the antiquated Lu-12. Consequently, we would suggest replacing all Lu-25 Black Mariahs with the GLI-76 Falcon. Before the order is confirmed we would like to clear things up concerning aircraft.

Re: Armaments Export Deal

Kriegzimmer has been selling foreign armaments since around 2005, and has proven to be a good choice. In fact, another Ato Saran small arms company - Tian' do Armaments - has successfully marketed the P-10 personal defense weapon through Kriegzimmer and it has seen thousands of copies exported through Kriegzimmer since its worldwide introduction. Kriegzimmer is confident that not only can be try to allow ION Armaments to compete against Yanpei Technologies, but we will compete on either an even footing or on a superior footing. The simple fact is that Kriegzimmer is by and large the single largest exporting company in the world, and exports armaments from the largest ordnance manufacturers which have grown on all soils of all corners of this planet. We receive some of the highest traffic of all ordnance providers. We have no doubts that ION Armaments would find itself receive export orders from dozens of customers after their small armaments are showcased on our catalogs.

What is to ION Armaments' advantage is that Kriegzimmer's indigenous small armaments export sector is small, and consequently there is little indigenous competition against foreign companies selling through Kriegzimmer. On the other hand, Yanpei Technologies is competing against an exporter which sells primarily infantry weapons.

Kriegzimmer would be glad to discuss in details the beginnings of an exporting relationship between our company and yours. We hope to hear back from you!

Given that the Maccabees government had recently put us on a 120-billion-per-year FMS program, we would like to use this program funding to fund (over a period of 6 years) the construction of a single Feathermore superdreadnaught.

As for own money, given the fact that Allanea's military budget has increased recently to a new height – about 30.48 trillion dollars per year now, of which 22.6 trillion is spent on maintaining our Army, Navy and Air Force – we wish to begin purchasing the equipment for 1,000 armored divisions, equipped with Nakil 1A2 tanks and SOV-06 IFVs, for which you will be paid 327.5 billion per year for ten years. The vehicles will be put in strategic long-term storage in bases on the Cloyster Coast, the Hash, San Nereiana, Allanean California and other Allanean colonies.

Official Communication from the New Manthian Denomination of Strategy (procurement office)

Your armaments have so far proved superlative in the service of the Colonial Defense
Authority, and we would like to vastly expand our use of Kriegzimmer equipment,
especially armor, as we expect Kriegzimmer vehicles to become the core of New Manth's
armor division once modernization is completed.

The Denomination of Strategy has authorized the following purchases:

30,000 Nakil 1A1s: 270 bn
24,000 Arca II Ashurbanipals: 100.8 bn
40,000 Arica I Shalmanesar APCs: 140 bn
8,000 G6 mortars:20.8 bn
20,000 Praetorian II missile trucks: 34 bn
Production rights for the SPAA-1 Anti-Aircraft Artillery Vehicle: 15.7 bn
4,000 G-17 mortars: 12.4 bn
80,000 Tagus anti-tank missiles: 2 bn (or could I just buy DPRs?)
Production rights for G11A (2.1 bn), G11F (4.1 bn), G11G (3.3 bn): total 9.5 bn

8 Establias class battleships: 98.4 bn
4 Kristik Class battleships: 34.4 bn
10 Indestructable class aircraft carriers: 70 bn
7 Ingerier class battlecruisers: 39.9 bn
2 Taniat class AAW battlecruisers: 10.4 bn
4 Grospek class heavy guided battlecruisers: 21.6 bn
50 Ilium class Guided Missile Destroyers: 60 bn
20 Carrenzei class CAGNs: 46 bn
24 Molsky-Orol class light cruisers: 36 bn
40 Paramount class ADVs: 28 bn
25 Pepperbox class LSVs: 5 bn
Limited home production rights for 20,000 Sledgehammer II missiles: 130 bn
10,000 Principe III missile/torpedoes: 3 bn
And finally, an additional 1,000 Khan missiles for 129 bn

Total: 1316.9 bn

As this represents over half of our yearly defense budget and we do not have the cash to pay for such a massive purchase on hand immediately, we would be very pleased if we could agree to spread out the payments over a period of six years, in equal installments each year (~219.5 bn per year), in order to help ease the financial burden of this large order.

Re: Order

For the most part the order has been confirmed. We hold reservations on our ability to construct one hundred [100] Argentine class Galleons. These are fairly large ships and would take around two years to completely construct one. Even assuming we put down multiple hulls simultaneously for construction it would take a fair amount of years to complete the entire order; by that time your nation may not want the Argentine anymore. We would suggest a lower number of ships - these should be put in the same category as super dreadnoughts. However, the rest of the order has been confirmed. The twenty [20] Feathermores will take around three years a piece, but five hulls will be laid down simultaneously, and consequently the entire order should be completed within twelve years. The 200,000 Nakíl 1A1 main battle tanks will be constructed at a rate of six thousand [6,000] per month, meaning a total of almost thirty-four months.

The 30,000 Nakíl 1A1 main battle tanks will be produced at a rate of 2,000 per month, meaning they should complete the order within fifteen months. The Arca. IIs will be built over the same time period, meaning around 1,500 vehicles will be manufactured per month. The 8,000 G6 mortars can be completed within four months, and the 40,000 Arica. Is over the same time period as the rest of the armor. The 20,000 Praetorian IIs can be constructed over a time period of four months, and production rights to the SPAA-1 have been granted. The G17s will be shipped in batches of 1,000 vehicles per month. Production rights to the Tagus ATGM can be granted [assume you paid the correct amount - it's not that important], and production rights to the G11.A, F and G has also been granted.

The ships will take a bit more time to complete. The 8 Establías battleships can be built with four laid down simultaneously, and consequently should take around four years to complete the entire order. The Kristík battleships will be laid down two at the same time, and will also be completed within four years. Sorry for the lame response everyone. Don't feel like posting individual confirmations. -_- Everything has been confirmed, unless I specify below.

- Clandonia, Kriegzimmer doesn't offer production rights to anything except nations on the $_random_preferred_list on the first post. That's the only reason I gave Granzi production rights - he's NATO. You can try to procure production rights straight from Doc on IRC, though.

We are pleased to hear of the many advantages that exporting through Kreigzimmer will bring and look forward to doing business together.
To start off we would wish to attack Yanpei's market position by relaesing our competior to the P-8 UDW, the P-7 Personal Defence Weapon (Information attached).
We are confidant that you will be able to sell a great many of these. We will be able to release more proiducts for export once the proper lisences are obtained from the federal government.

Once again many thanks.

Dear sirs/misses/whomever this may concern

At this time, we have received word that the Nakil 1A1+s are due to arrive in your catalog rather soon, and as such, we'd like to get an advance order in to upgrade our current 70,000 Nakil 1A1s, and further procure another 80,000. As well, we'd like 15,000 of each of the Nakil variants (excepting the bridge variant, of which we only need 3,000), which amounts to another 93,000 units to be produced, for a total of 243,000 units which need to have some amount of work done or be produced. We understand that the largeness of this order in its current state would strain the factorial capacities of the current Kreigzimmer factories, and as such, would like to offer the Kreigzimmer conglomerate a 10X10 Km plot of Illiorian land upon which to base a factory for ground units. This plot would operate under solely conglomerate control, and would have minimal taxes for land, and any import/export taxes would be excluded. As well at this facility, we'd like to have missile production facilities as well, as I'd like to order another 40,000 Kahn missiles, and 300,000 SledgehammerII missiles. If it would make sense, and if it would be appropriate, and it seems to make more and more sense as I think about it, would Domestic Production Rights be available to our government to produce a part of this order elsewhere in Illior (note that the acceptance of the DPRs would not nullify the offer of opening a factory within Illior)? The current funds will be wired upon the commencement of construction of each individual unit, as to allow our current funds to not be depleted with the current budget cuts in effect.

The P-7 was an entry from ION Industries in the Advanced Defence Weapon competion set up by the CSC logistics department.
It came into direct competition with Yanpei's P-8 UDW for the contract and they were neck and neck with vocal supporters for each within all branches of the military.
The P-8 ultimately won the competion and was adopted by the Jade Guard's ground elements and the Federated Navy.
However the Federal Self Defence Forces and the Jade Guard's aerial divisions valued the P-7s better reliabilty and compactness, and so held their own design competiton in which it won.
The CSC logisitcs department accepted this as both weapons used the same ammunition.
As with the P-8, the P-7 is on the international market but due to ION Armaments company policy there are no civillian models available.

Your armed forces made a very good choice in approaching Kriegzimmer in order to acquire the very best in ground mechanization. Your order, of course, has been confirmed. The time for production will revolve entirely around the heavy armor, since that will take the most to build. Everything else will arrive at a similar time, or before. We can produce your armor at around 2,000 units per month for the first year, and then 5,000 per month for the second year, and finally 10,000 per month thereafter. Consequently, 84,000 of the 275,000 tanks will have been completed within two years. The rest will take around nineteen months. Subject: Nakil 1A1 upgrade and Halil 53 Purchase

Dear Sir,

We have noted that, quite happily, the Nakil 1A1 has become THE standard MBT to which all other MBTs wish to match, and with the release of the Nakil 1A2 you extended this lead further. Now however, the Nakil 1A2 was, quite rightfully, quite limited in exports and therefore not extended to Hotdogs2. With nations understandably clamoring for an upgrade, Hotdogs2 feels the need to look at creating an indigenous version for its own purposes and with advantages different from that found in the upgrades your corporation has on offer. Primary changes would be a slightly modified hull, particularly internally to allow carriage of the heavier and more powerful engine, which would hopefully allow greater carriage of fuel to allow the range to be kept at a significant distance.

The overall upgrade would however be generally in the same line as the Nakil 1A1+, with possible variations, such as a bulldozer blade fitted as standard on all tanks, although we do not expect major changes for the actual upgrade.

On a further note we would also like to purchase production rights to the Hali-53 Assault Rifle and variants, or rather rights to modify the original design, as we see great potential for the rifle. We will however also carry out advanced tests to decide upon the exact caliber to be used in the rifle, as the Kriegzimmer round is not (to our knowledge) in widespread use. As possibilities we are looking at 6.5x55 for example but may be interested in different caliber versions of your rifle rounds.

Re: Nakil 1A1 upgrade and Halil 53 Purchase

Mr. Alders,

We're grateful for your interests in the Nakíl, and we're happy to discuss the possibilities of an indigenous version of the tank. We're also extremely grateful for the amount of sales the tank has made. The Nakíl 1A1+ is the closest thing to the Nakíl 1A2 on the market at this point in time, and even has superior ballistic protection. Unfortunately, it's much heavier. Nevertheless, understandably, some of the upgrades on the Nakíl 1A1+ package will be applied to an indigenous upgrade of the Nakíl 1A2 version - such as the coaxial 20mm gun. But, regardless, about your own version of the tank. About the two suggestions made insofar, if Kriegzimmer can go as far as to defend its decision with the current statistics.

In regards to the heavier engine, we don't see the necessity. The current 1,700hp GRS.100 provides 1,700hp and an ample horsepower to weight ratio [although less than the 1A1 and the 1A2, due to the heavier weight of the 1A1+]. Increasing engine size will not increase the amount of fuel available - it will decrease it, given that increasing the size of the engine will also increase the required size of the engine compartment which will mean the engine compartment will have to be built into an existing volume. This might be built into some of the volume of the current four fuel tanks on the tank [which, admittedly, two of which are smaller than the one on the Nakíl 1A2, since the Nakíl 1A2 has three, not four, but a similar range].

Concerning the bulldozer, the Nakíl glacis plate has four lugs for any add-ons, including flails and bulldozers. These can be applied on the field, before going on operation. Bulldozers are unpopular amongst tank crews because of their weight and the difficulty of turning and maneuvering with the bulldozers attached to the tank. Normally, a single tank of a squad might at one point have a bulldozer, and it would understandably lead the way.

Nevertheless, would there be any other changes to the vehicle? We'd be happy to continue discussing the possibility of an indigenous version of the Nakíl tank.

We can offer production rights to the Hali-53, under the table. Officially, Kriegzimmer does not offer production rights, but given your status we think we can let one rule go at this point. Again, however, the transaction would have to be under the table. That said, the gun can be rechambered for any round you wish to use. As far as Kriegzimmer is aware the 6.64mm round is used only by those who use the Hali-53. As we design more rifles around the caliber perhaps it will see more widespread use. The coaxial on the Nakíl 1A1GU also uses Orchomenos' 6.64mm round.

We thank you for your interests and would like to further discuss this sale. Thank you for your patience,

The 100,000 rifles can be produced within the end of the month, with the necessary changes [the Black Wolves' symbol embossed on each side of the stock of the rifle]. Unfortunately, Kriegzimmer does not keep tabs of stock - Kriegzimmer CEOs have always controlled the majority of the stock, as normally Kriegzimmer acts as a single entity. Nevertheless, in compliance with absolute capitalism Kriegzimmer is a public company and is not state-owned and therefore stock can be purchased. This would have to do with the global market, and not Kriegzimmer, however.

We apologize that we could not provide further information on your request for stock. We hope that you return soon for your naval ships and other military goods that might be required.

Greetings, I’ll would like to place an order with your company about getting some ships. Most of them will be dreadnaught killers type ships, but the Aristaqis has caught my eyes, along a number of Fleet Admirals.

One Aristaqis Class trimaran assault dreadnaught - 311 billion
Five Pacitalia class galleons - 1.325 trillion.

The total of the order is large, but half has been wired and the rest when the ships are delivered. And there is something special about the United Dominion Navy, each vessels is black from the battleships to the portal boats. We’ll add another ten billion to the order for the six vessels to be painted black, making the order at 1.646 trillion.

Dienstad class Strategic Projection Vessel [SPV]

The Dienstad class Strategic Projection Vessel [N.B.: From now on the term 'strategic projection vessel' will be abbreviated SPV] was born of a requirement within the Maríenen [OOC: Imperial Marines] for a multi-mission amphibious ship capable of transporting them to the area of amphibious landing and to support them during the operation. This requirement was developed during the War of Golden Succession, when a similar vessel was not in service. In fact, during most amphibious landings during the war all landing units found themselves inadequately supported by allied naval forces behind them. For example, during the initial landings at Pir-Sar the Ejermacht infantry were decimated by coastal artillery and the numerical superiority of the enemy. Although three Vic de Chassenay class gun boats had consequently been constructed out of older merchant ships in order to provide naval fire support for a second landing undertaken by the Maríenen it was found to be only rudimentary, although these operations were successful in establishing a front in the northern areas of the city, and ultimately the Sarcanzan resistance in the city was crushed.

Similar problems were found to exist during special amphibious landings up and down the Havenic [Safehaven2] coast, and even during the amphibious landings along the Guffingfordi coast - Imperial troops 'hopped' from port city to port city to deny Stevid as much coast of Guffingford as possible. The problem was usually more persistent during the Guffingfordi operations where there was no Kriermada support and all naval support was conducted with captured Guffingfordi merchant ships hastily converted to gun boats. Interestingly, their crews would remain the Guffingfordi crews - paid by the Empire [at very high rates] - while their guns would be controlled by the more skilled artillerymen of the Ejermacht - sometimes small radio controlled unmanned aerial vehicles [UAV] had to be used as artillery spotters during the artillery duels with the coast.

The idea for the Dienstad was probably born after the Siege of Pir-Sar, although serious development did not begin until June 2018, after the end of the War of Golden Succession. Interestingly, as early as November 2016 [around two months after the end of the Siege of Pir-Sar] there was an attempt to use a newly constructed super merchant ship hull [~500m long] to be used as an amphibious ship with the capability of carrying at least twenty-six short take-off and landing aircraft. This project was developed between November 2016 and March 2017, but with the end of the naval war [with Stevid] in sight the project was dropped. Only during the resurgence of amphibious operations against Safehaven was there also a rebirth of interest within an amphibious ship. This requirement was mostly necessary within the ranks of the Maríenen, which had expanded in size, and had begun to be the sole group of soldiers responsible for amphibious operations with the Navy [although the Ejermacht's size guarantee it the largest role in any large-scale amphibious landing, since there wouldn't be enough Maríenen available].

The Dienstad project was delayed by the fact that by the end of the war the Empire had run out of money. The Ejermacht had expanded from a force of less than a half a million men to thirty-three million personnel, including twenty-four to twenty-six million combat personnel alone. Most of the Empire's coffers had gone into arming the massive ground army which had been mobilized between May 2016 and May 2018 - most of this army remained motorized even at the end of the war, as it was found impossible to mechanize it in time without putting the Empire into a massive debt with Kriegzimmer [a political consideration, given that the administration did not want to give Kriegzimmer the leverage to return to its super conglomerate powers that it held before the war - although, it ultimately will return to this status]. However, by the end of the war the Empire had begun to pursue a drastic naval modernization program and this included the Maríenen - a department of the Kriermada. The Dienstad project, or Project K456, was officially opened 14 June 2018 and as early as 13 November 2020 a design was introduced to the Maríenen - this was consequently accepted, and the first keel was laid down 1 January 2021. The first ship of the class, the HES Dienstad, was completed by 17 December 2022. Three more ships were laid down a month after the Dienstad and completed three months after the finishing of the Dienstad - these were the Pir-Sar, San Anton de la Luz, Ferrol and the Valenziaco. All four were named after amphibious operations during the War of Golden Succession, the last three being in Safehaven. Four more ships were completed by the following year, marking a total of eight ships completed, with two more arriving by 2025, for a total fleet of ten. These were:

- Dienstad
- Pir-Sar
- San Anton de la Luz
- Ferrol
- Valenziaco
- Halendoos
- Tercel
- Tashar'dobli
- Saint James of Riverine
- Greater Dienstad

By the time the fourth ship was completed the Kriermada had decided that it was not necessary to procure more, and cooperation with the Ejermacht failed as the ship was seen as incapable of transporting the sufficient amount of me - it was seen as too general. Consequently, a separate project was conducted in order to design several ships in order to support amphibious operations on a much larger scale. These ships would specialize, as opposed to combine as with the Dienstad class. Nevertheless, the Dienstad class found great success within the Maríenen, and would first be used to transport several thousand Maríenen to Scandavian States to reinforce allied armies against an expected Questerian invasion.

Armament
The Dienstad's armament dossier is dedicated entirely towards self-defense. She carries forty-eight [24] P.746.B surface to air missiles arrayed in launchers of four blocks. There are six launchers on each side of the ship. The P.746.B is a medium-range surface to air missile of the P.746.X series of surface to air missiles. It has a maximum range of one-hundred and thirty [130] kilometers and a maximum altitude of eleven thousand [11,000] meters. The P.746.B has been a common 'box launched' surface to air missile of all Kriermada ships, although normally it's paired with the P.746.A which is fired from a vertical launch tube. In the Dienstad's case, it's expected that the amphibious group will be dependent on ships like the Taníat class Anti-Air Warfare Battlecruiser . As a final layer of defense against the missile threat each ship is outfitted with three Cohort Mk. II close-in weapon systems. This system is a six-barreled 35mm electromagnetic system - it's standard within various international navies.

For protection against smaller crafts which include suicide boats and boarding parties the Dienstad carries six S-30 of Mekugian design. These are 13.3mm in caliber. Boarding was actually fairly common during the War of Golden Succession by Havenic marines who attempted to board Imperial fast attack crafts patrolling the Havenic coastline and enforcing a blockade on the nation.

Apart from these three systems the only other armament of the ship can be considered its air arm when it's in carrier mode, or it's outfitted with aircraft for any given amphibious operation. The Dienstad is not an offensive oriented ship, except through its air-arm, and most of its volume is taken up by deck space for transport.

OOC: Hey Mac, does your training finish completely after 28 weeks and 6 days? And if so, after that can you get deployed straight out to iraq or do you get sent to some jungles for a month of survival training and guerrilla warfare? :D

On the tank question, any idea how much space the FASTDRAW type autoloader takes? Just i want to see if i can reduce space use...currently i think it probably is possible as the design i've been looking at is aimed at being used on the M1A2 without deleting the loaders possition. Subject: Indigenous Nakil 1A1 upgrade

Dear Kriegzimmer Staff,

We understand your concerns on our variant of the tank, and are pleased that you are aiding us in our task. However, Hotdogs2 feels the need for a tank which can outmaneuver opposing forces and their MBTs, which is a major reason for not using heavy tanks as do some forces. With your experience of the cougar in the War of Golden Succession we expect you understand, and have noted it in the design of the Nakil 1A1 in service with our forces. The original Nakil was a great bonus to our forces, and able to operate on our tundra and rolling farmland, which is indeed perfect tank country, as long as the tank is not too heavy with poor surface pressure ratios. With the addition of 2000kg to the upgrade this will add to problems which may be faced on our winter tundra, although it is not a very major increase.

However, our main concern is that to be able to have armour to the capability and level of that found on the Nakil 1A2 we would be looking at a much heavier tank, especially noting the weight of the Nakil 1A2 being much lower giving it an increased mobility advantage. To this effect we would like to look at weight reductions further to those founds on the Nakil 1A1 upgrades. One possible area we have found would be to reduce the side skirt area, covering only the top area(or suspension) and in between road wheels using primarily a slotted armour. Another factor we would like to investigate is to use electrically charged armour, incorporating it into any upgrades whilst not adding to overall weight by an unacceptable amount. Such a system would reduce the need for ERA armour significantly whilst being much more effective against chemical rounds. It is our belief that by adding electrical armour we can see major improvements to this type of protection, allowing more focus to be put upon kinetic penetrators and effective ways to combat them.

With the addition of this electrical armour we can see therefore the need for ERA is significantly reduced, so much so we could see major benefits to deleting the use of ERA, which is primarily most effective by our calculations against Chemical penetrators.

This is probably the most major and evolutionary upgrade we would undertake, and is quite radical i understand, but the benefits far outweigh any technical problems and reduces weight significantly if ERA is no longer used(although it may still have limited applications).

Considerable effort would also be put into replacing the double 24round autoloader with a single autoloader in the region of 500kg, reducing both space used and of course a small change in weight. We believe the system would be capable of 12rounds/minute average as opposed to the 10rounds of the Nakil 1A1 currently in service, and may be able to reduce space requirements. We also also like to create an auto-loader system capable of choosing the round type, as well adjusting proximity fuses being developed for smart, airburst type 120mm rounds for use in the Nakils gun.

If this is in fact possible, we will look into replacing the turret with a smaller one, and look into other space reductions, giving a smaller visible turret with a smaller overall weight.

Re: Naval Order

Greetings Mr. Fielding,

Kriegzimmer is exhilarated to learn that the previous ships sold have been a success and that you are interested in procuring even greater assets. Your newest order, of course, has been confirmed. All the ships in the 'Carrier Battle Group Package' can be completed within the time the carrier is completed - the single carrier will take roughly a year and eight months to complete. As per the submersible package, despite the fact that a large portion of those submarines will be laid down simultaneously, production should be around three years long. The two [2] Aristaqis class Assault Dreadnoughts will be laid down simultaneously and both will require about two years and six months to complete, while the Feathermore will take about three months longer, and the two [2] Dienstad class SPVs will be constructed simultaneously within a year and six months.

We hope that this time table is acceptable. Furthermore, we are honored to continue to serve your naval needs,

Re: Indigenous Nakil 1A1 upgrade

[OOC: After those twenty-eight weeks and six days I'm not exactly sure what happens. After that training I'm still 18X [special forces recruit/candidate], and I have to specify my specialization. I'm dead-set on 18B, or weapon's sergeant - I should get at least a year of additional training for my specialization; 18B has the shortest additional training. I won't have a unit until I'm done with training in general, I think, so I don't know if they will send me to Iraq first and train me second. I really don't know how things will pan out.

Fastdraw takes up most of the rear of the tank, including a large portion of the bustle. The Fastdraw was originally a concept for the M1A1, and it did not get rid of the loader's position. I just exchanged the loader for a robotic loading arm. The turret, as a consequence, is also smaller than what it would have been with a loader to reduce the volume I have to armor, and thus reduce weight. Otherwise, the tank would weigh over eighty tonnes. The PDF you sent me has a separate autoloading system and it does get rid of the loader's position - or at least, I don't see mention of a loader.]

Mr. Alders,

The increase in weight should only have a minor detriment to maneuverability. Furthermore, the weight was added where it was most needed - the side armor. Now your tank will maneuver much more safely, as it will have a greater chance of defeating projectiles which engage the front side armor. The Nakíl 1A2 only has greater armor on the glacis plate, and has much lesser armor throughout the rest of the tank - the Nakíl 1A1+ holds the advantage in terms of armored weight. On the other hand, the Nakíls turret is much more narrow and thus much less of a likely target and it was thought that heavy armor was not necessary - an indigenous upgrade on the Nakíl 1A2, however, will see much greater armor protection. In regards to the side-skirt, the current skirt can be exchanged for a reduced skirt, but the decrease in weight would not be overly dramatic - maybe 200 kilograms for both sides. We hold several reservations against electrical-armor. Electrical armor is heavy [two spaced steel conducting plates are heavy] and requires even more electrical power to the armor. It's not necessarily more effective than explosive reactive armor, as the explosive reactive armor is already effective enough. Furthermore, protection against kinetic energy threats would be greatly improved - if there are possibilities of improving the armor against these threats it's not within direct sight, and thus will probably not benefit your Nakíls in the near future.

However, in the end, it's your choice. Obviously, Kriegzimmer is not a supporter of electric armor but we know others might feel differently. If you'd like to replace the explosive reactive armor with electric armor then it's fine, but the disadvantages should be weighed-in first.

In terms of rate-of-fire it's not so much the rate the gun can be loaded, it's the rate in which the gun can clear the tube and breech of gasses in order to reduce the threat of explosion. The FASTDRAW is the fastest autoloader in the world, and should continue to be so - it also reduces weight and volume considerably over other autoloaders. The major loss of weight comes in through the design of the turret around the autoloader. However, a new single compact loader can exchange the FASTDRAW and hold maybe around forty rounds. The FASTDRAW can choose round type - that is another major advantage of the system.

The Nakíl turret is already very small. It should be taken into consideration how a smaller turret will effect the crew ergonomics, which is very important for tank accuracy.

We await further discussion on the matter,

As such the Indestructable class carrier has come to our attention to act as our interm fleet carriers. It is indeed an impressive vessel, although slightly over capable for our needs. We would, however, like to order twelve such vessles for our naval forces at the current time. While payment may not be a serious issue, we would like to save as much as possible in the procurement of these interm carriers, and wish to propose an offer to assist in normal payment areas. What we propose is the opening of Sumerian lands to a foreign company, for the first time in as long as many of us can remember. The proposal as I can offer it now is the sale of property on Kereta for the construction of a naval construction yard, and the sale of land outside of the city of Turu in the north for an industrial complex. These two areas we would offer as part of the payment to Kriegzimmer in regards to these vessels. The conditions upon the use of this land are simple, we only require that your facilities within our borders follow the legal stipulations of all buisnesses within our lands, minus one. We will not impede your facilities from producing materials for foreign customers regardless of our relations with them. Other then that we would prefer you hire locally as much as possible, however the importation of foreign workers could be arranged through the Office of Immigration and Integration if so desired. We would like to know how this deal appeals to you. If it is unaccecptable, we will be willing to simply pay the costs for the vessels as they are delivered.

From: Sen. Alexandre Brune, head of the Temporary Committee for the Reconstruction of Reichskamphen and General in Chief of the Armies of the Republic.

Dear Sir,

As you may or may not have known, Reichskamphen and the whole of the Greater Prussian Empire have been devestated by Civil War, the outcome of which has forced the Empire to dissolve. Though it seems that Greater Prussia is likely to reform in short order under some differant form of Government, the nation of Reichskamphen, hit most heavily by the fighting, has nearly completed its reconstruction in all but one area, the Military.

During your nations tenure in the Empire, I worked with Kriegzimmer to supply the Imperial Armies as I was then a Marechal for Napoleon IV. Now I am once again in a position where I am required to supply and equip my armed forces. A substantial cash flow has returned and we would request an advisor from your corporation to analyze our military's situation and reccomend the purchases that we shall make. We are looking to refit and resupply every branch of our military and intend to make the bulk of our purchases from you. Our purchases likely will be in the trillions of dollars, but we will rely on your expertise to assist us with these matters.

I pray business is good, and all is well.

OOC: Mac, just two questions- with the Nakil 1HD pretty much done do you want an IC DPR purchase? It's mainly an upgrade, so that part isn't a problem although some parts of course(e.g. engine) need to have licenses bought for. I may build a few brand new if thats possible in future, along with a Nakil 1HD-U, upgrade(more armour primarily, i think i can cut back on weight further so it'll only be a 500-1000kg addition). Secondly any chance you have worked out any stats for the amphibious APC? TY, Ben

Furthermore, we would like to request that, when we inevitably purchase a series of these missiles, we should like to enquire as to the possibility of increased production speed, in regards to our current situation. We would be fully willing to pay extra for such a service.

From: Wagdian Department of Defense

Greetings,

Although new to your fine business, we have heard of the reputation of your armaments for some time; and seeing as our major ally Vetaka is increasingly standardizing on your wares, it only makes sense that we include your products in our arsenal for operations where combining our supplies with our allies' would be required. Hence, we wish to order the following to customize our readily-deployable ground forces for this 'international standard' supply bracket...

45,000 Nakíl 1A1GU MBTs ($405,000,000,000)
20,000 G11/C Artillery Command Vehicles ($46,000,000,000)
20,000 G11/G Tank Destroyers ($64,000,000,000)
20,000 G11/H Ambulances ($52,000,000,000)
25,000 Fernántes AVLBs ($65,000,000,000)
100,000 Shalmaneser APCs ($320,000,000,000)
100,000 Ashurbanipal Light Tanks ($420,000,000,000)
25,000 Dejíard Assault Guns ($95,000,000,000)
200,000 Tagus Antitank Missiles ($5,000,000,000)
10,000 Corbulo Light SP Guns ($6,500,000,000)
10,000 Gertantel SP Guns ($47,000,000,000)
3,000 Asnít MLRS ($8,700,000,000)
3,000 Regisnár SRBMs ($11,100,000,000)
45,000 Praetorian II SAMs ($76,500,000,000)
20,000 SPAA-1 SPAA ($54,000,000,000)
Total: $1,675,800,000,000 USD

Of these things, we would prefer that 5,000 Nakíls plus half of all other equipment ordered be shipped to our forces in Freudotopia and Generia as soon as possible, to supplement our donated Nakíl tanks already present. Additionally, we have a few questions which may be pertinent to our use of these systems. First, how capable would the Nakíl be of accepting a second heavy machine gun as coaxial armament, should we decide to so modify them later? Second, what would be the price to buy Ebro trucks themselves, for our logistical units when operating with this standard of kit? And lastly, what would be the personnel-carrying and NBC reconnaissance capabilities of the G-11 series?
Delivery time confirmation is requested, especially for the shipments to Freudotopia and Generia as those are somewhat time-sensitive and may have to be delivered to Wagdog proper with the rest if circumstances overtake the order. In any case, money stands ready for wiring upon order confirmation, and we thank you for any and all consideration.

The government of Haraki would like to inquire as to the possibility of acquiring production rights to the Khan Anti-Shipping Missile. As a member of NATO we are on the pre-approved list of nations friendly to the Golden Throne and Kriegzimmer. We believe that the Khan missile will be a valuable addition to our naval armament, and would like to be able to produce it domestically for ease of use and deployment. You may, of course, rest assured that we would not even think of producing it for sale to any other nation or foreign body, and it will see use only in the Harakian military.

The relationship between our two companies has been a very friendly one, with Griffincrest purchasing from Kriegzimmer many times over the years, as well as even using the Kriegzimmer designed Chariot as our main battle tank. It would be highly appreciated if the sale of those Khan missiles to 1010102 was to be denied, as we are currently in a state of war, and they have expressed the desire to spam our skies with the missiles.
