You do know that there is a massive pool of GA tech that's been donated by members and developed by the GA, right? You don't need to steal anything. My Beam Cannons, Jimathons Ministar Engine, the GA Auto-target Cannons, LRR Light nuclear blasters, etc.

It's all free and open for your use.

*NOTE* Not everybody has donated all their tech, if you're going to use somebody else's technology check if they've donated it to the GA.

Sorry, but there is no way in hell that I can make a list of donated tech. There's so much, over so many threads, that it is beyond the capabilities of any member of NS. What you can do is just ask a person if they've donated his/her tech if you want to use it.

As for the Colony ship.

The Klonor Colony ship is capable of carrying 10,000 people in complete comfort of a 4 star hotel, or up to 100,000 more if they are in cryo sleep. It is capable of FTL speeds up to 1 ly a minute if using the jump-nodes, and of speeds up to 1 ly per hour if using idependant FTL travel (The ships are capable of both). With 10 weapon ports it is far from being a full combat ship, yet is capable of being sufficiently armed to dissuade any attacks by pirates or other such unsavory caharacters. Once it is no longer needed the extra space can be taken off and the ship can be used a rather fast patrol ship or cargo vessel, depending on your need. Guaranteed to get the job done.

It's important because many members don't have their own systems. They share their with other people, or still live on Earth, etc. This Article's current wording either lets them skimp out on obligations, or forces other people to do stuff we want to do.

Against. The Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah do not want others to enter their home planet. We would propose it to be changed into "All members must give all other members free passage and trade to their system(s) or into territory, if member does not possess a system, but a planet or a part of a planet."

Cracking up the shield around our home planet every time some merchant wishes to move through would cause a major security risk. Added to that, on our home planet, we have no major operations concerning trading.

Is it not obvious? If the article is changed, it would ask us to open our homeworld for every single trader in the alliance. We have erected a shield around it, and opening it for everyone that wants to enter or leave the planet would cause serious security related problems. We are not ready to have these problems. We have enough internal unrest already.

Meaning: If the article changes, we are forced to leave the alliance.

In ROTJ when the Mon Cals engaged the ISD at "point blank range" they were still hundreds of km's out.
