The 20s where flappers and and a very different kind of jazz. The thirties where distinctly different thanks in large part to the Great Depression. The late thirties and early 40s share a lot of style because nothing is required to change due to a decade change on a calender and a lot of production stopped in preference to manufacturing for the war. But it's not really the same thing. Haworth doesn't even really have the style of even Mae West (thirties primarily).

Yeah, I know, but nothing escaped the influence of th '20's. The '30's really were just a natural progression of it under the circumstances, and it definitely lingered into the '40's. But really when I said that, I did mean that one fit late-'30's, which does jive with the '40's, but the others from the '20's and earlier '30's were also quite...tasty.

Yeah, that's pretty common actually (sorry :p - but I bet it doesn#t look half as good on other people as it does on her ;)), it's not her eyes changing color, it's your eyes picking out the colours her clothes and her eyes have in common.

Works best with blueish eyes - those can "change" into anything from grey to green to bright blue to deep blue to what have you.

But it even works with brown eyes - a friend of mine has brown eyes and years back, in highschool, he had this kind of mustard colored sweater, and whenever he wore that, his eyes looked like golden honey. Ugly sweater, very pretty eyes. :p

Eh, I hadn't meant to give that impression. I didn't really want to group them altogether as the same sort of thing, just say that mannerisms of the women of the time are particularly appealing.

And yet, how do you think you'll discover who hass personality and who hasn't? They'll keep going for the looks, no matter how many times they found that there's literally nothing behind...

One thing I've noticed that usually goes with the chewed down fingernails is chipped up front teeth. Its like the habitual gnawing weakens and splinters the edges of the teeth.

I'm just back from a very, very disappointing blind date. Up until now, I would have been one eagerly telling people that looks don't really matter at all in any form of relationship, at least to me.

I'm afraid I have to revise that statement a fair bit now. I've met two guys online recently, one who I thought might have been "relationship material", and one who's clearly going to be a one night stand, if anything.
Now, today I've met the first of the two guys. And right from seeing him I just knew that this was going nowhere, ever. There simply wasn't anything about his looks that I liked... and the worst bit were his fingernails, chewed to the bone. He even chewed on them while we were talking. *shiver I just made up an excuse to get out of there, fast.
Now, I haven't met the other guy yet, but we've exchanged a couple of pics. If that's really him on those pics, I SO want to jump his bones. Relationshipwise, that's going nowhere, either, but, oh boy, hothothothothot.

As a blonde guy I have to say that most guys dont dye their hair blonde...I know a few that have gotten some highlights...but most guys just dont go for the full dye.
