Ah. Cool. I discovered this place after submarining with my dad through a mysterious tunnel I found while boating in lake Mille Lacs in Minnesota. Came ashore of this island over a half an hour later on the other side of the tunnel.

Your cake reminds me of something I ate on a campout once. We tried to make some kind of apple/cherry cobbler but it didn't work out too great. It was a mixture of pie filling, and half cooked cake dough and was probably the most fattening thing I have ever eaten in my life.

Most fatty thing I ever ate: A mixed thing I made out of oil, beans, old beans, more oil, some eggs of dubious origin, breadcrumbs. It's not campfood unless you hear your arteries clang just by looking a it :D

Then you seal the jar and put it outside in the sun for a few hours until it has become a nice brown color and you can't see through it anymore. Then you put it in the refrigerator and serve it cold with a few ice cubes and a wedge of lemon. You can also put sugar in it, although I prefer it without.

That's how the crazy Americans do it! :p
