Venus walked up to Vex, the weird marking on her body totally visible. That made her more self-conscious then she already was. By the time she reached him she was blushing crimson and looking at the floor. "Hey Vex", she muttered. "How've you been?"

"Well the purchases for the kitchen should be in order. I've kept very good track of those since I got here. Where are the problems? Maybe I could help?"

Good-night Vex" Venus leaned in and kissed Vex on the cheek. It had been something she really wanted to do so she did it. She then turned and walked out.

That night Venus had another dreamless sleep. She was thankful.

International, basically, its kinda like the stanley cup or world series of ski jumping. Its held on the same 4 mountains every year in austria and germany, and its great to watch, caus you never know who has won until the last jumper has jumped!

Well considering that it's a bit over and done with... I was just curious, cause you rarely see people around here who remember it.

Yeah, Kooterade, the guy who mentioned it was a semi-regular there for a while, drawn in because at the time I was spending 10 hours a day on Nationstates. I was pretty regular there under the name Uzebettagetoffmyland (the character was a lot easier to RP than this one). I'm still angry at Basenji for declaring it closed, and at everyone else for accepting that and letting it die despite the fact that it was only part of his play for modship, which failed anyway. Anyway, yeah, I remember the Volcano, I remember when the Volcano was the shortest of the casual RP threads behind the ET, and Do Almost Anything To The Previous Poster, and the other early General RP threads. I remember it all, and I wish a lot of it hadn't gone away, but alas it's all gone now, and I'm stuck here where most of the RP is melodrama, which is basically the only reason I'm keeping up with this absurdist character, because the pseudo-emotions bother the hell out of me.

Mr. O'Brien assured Vex that they would not set bail too high, as Tink was obviously not a threat to anyone, nor was she a threat to flee the country. and so they sat and waited for her to be processed and fingerprinted and photographed and whatever else happens when one gets arrested...*

*she arrived at the police station and was finger printed and photographed etc. then was taken into an interview room where she told them what she knew and was made to fill in a statement, she was then thrown into a cell, after a few minutes a police officer came to her cell and let her out, telling her she'd been bailed*
