Guardian resisted his urge to say Humanity or friendship. Deciding that whatever the dark angel planned, it probably wouldn't bode well for his treasure.

"What do you treasure, Sacer? Family? Friends? You've killed your family...are you willing to kill your friends as well? We are still here, Sacer. We will be your family, your friends..."

"I would like to know what you treasure most. Would you give me the pleasure of taking it away from you?" He asked so emotionlessly. "I treasure nothing but my hate and anger; it is all that I have left and you will never take it from me!"

Chains and barbed wire lashed from the sphere like a wave of horrid metals. The fallen angel had vanished in the sea of his own destruction.

Haze brought himself to his full height and yelled down to the villians, "What is your purpose for this?" Haze could sense that Arthur was not to be trusted. Haze thought to himself, What a feeble mind that one has.

"Hey Bart you ready to fight? I serve the NLJU no more. I work for the so called 'villains'. They aren't villians. Now it's time to fight for the world. Haze what is the purpose? The purpose is to get rid of you." Arthur charged forward. He knew the only person that could be a match at this speed was Bart.

Bart looked down at Arthur. "So this is what you have become. After all that training you have turned into a weak speedster. If you want to fight me you will have to earn it. Catch me if you can." Half a nanosecond later Bart was already a mile away from Washington State.

"Weak I will show you weak." Arthur started to run. Yes during the last days he hadn't use his speed that much because of his growing new power. Arthur was a little behind Bart. That wasn't too much since Bart had more time to get faster. This match was going to test who was the fastest speeder,

Bart looked over his shoulder and saw that Arthur was closely behind him. He yelled back, "You are faster than I thought. I wonder if Wally taught you this technique." Bart began using his feet to create air bubbles. He looked down at Arthur as began running vertically up into the sky. He smiled down at him.

"Prism, thank you for the compliment. You have definitely been a comrade in arms with me; going through the same situation. Funny that now I have pyro powers that I can control! What a coincidence!" Diaphanous looked at Prism, "I am glad you finally see me for me. As far as controlling the damage I do, I cannot. It is born of rage, and as I did not grow up on my own planet, nobody was around to teach me the control methods. I am sorry. However, Enertro seems to be a force which calms me." Diaphanous looked lovingly at Enertro. "I just do not like people to fuck with me, Prism. I am sure you can relate. It is only that when I get angry that I unintentionally do damage. I apologize." Diaphanous felt badly for scaring everyone and for the fact that she had such difficulty controlling her powers when she was enraged." I suppose that will come in time.

Enertro, we have company now. Damn NJLU, can they not see there is a huge battle going on as it is? Diaphanous looked up at the angels, stunned at the sight. Now it was time for her to fight. She only hoped she did not injure one of her own, due to her uncontrolled power that came with her rage. She had to remember: Enertro's love comes first.

Diaphanous kissed Enertro. "I will not leave your sight, as you requested... I love you so much. May we all be victorious tonight." She took another look at the angels. Guardian, Sacer, and another angel...

Fortuna looked at Sacer and Guardian... "What if the thing we treasure most is you, Sacer?" She yelled out to Sacer.

Haze and the rest of the NJLU sat on the hill waiting for the villians to try to attack them.

From the swarm of chains and wire and dark voice boomed rattling the metal as it carried through the air: "Know that I am happy taking myself away from you. Know that I am at peace making you feel how I feel."

Enertro smiled at his own earth angel, Diaphanous. He remembered he mistook her for an angel when she first saved him from Reave when they first met. A good day...

It was kind of ironic that now Enertro had some part in calming Diaphanous, and maybe even saving both from the fallen angel that Reave had become. He smiled and with incredible passion, he kissed Diaphanous. "One last kiss...for good luck," he laughed, rubbing rubbing his nose against hers.

Surge had searched for a good target, his first one being that of Bart. Unfortunately, the speed demon took off with Arthur...hopefully Arthur can finish the bugger in no time.

Instead, he aimed his sniper at Haze...crosshairs at the hero's face, he pulled the trigger...

Guardian sped away, slashing at the vile webs of destruction Sacer had summoned forth. "Hate and Anger is what helped get you into this, Sacer! It drove you down the path you're now on! You can still turn back!"

"I could never feel the way you feel, although I pity you and your chains." Fortuna replied.

"Guardian, are you okay?" Fortuna asked?

"Enertro?" Diaphanous asked, "do you think we should attack the NJLU, wait for them to attack us, or go after Sacer? There are so many options, but if Sacer beats down Guardian and the other angel, the NJLU is a moot organization, as is ours." She looked to Enertro waiting for his opinion. She wanted them to make this decision together.

Haze had seen Surge before they had even came over the hill. He had his third eye watching him. As soon as the shot fired he repelled it back at him with his telekinesis.

Diaphanous decided she would start with trying a general mass mind-fuck on all of them. With her powers, she lowered the serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine in their brains... this causes depression, lack of motivation and will. She hoped it would work on all of them, but she knew it would probably only work on some of them.

Guardian dodged and swerved as chains shot through the air he had just left a second ago. "I am fine, Fortuna. See if you can stun him with lightning!" he shouted. Perhaps if he heard, he would retract the chains to prepare for the bolt of lightning, giving Guardian a chance to swoop in and end this battle...

Enertro stood, his arms wrapped around Diaphanous, wondering what their next move should be.

"I'm afraid I do not think we can do much to aid the angels...we must make sure to keep your temper down, however," he replied, a small smile on his face. "I say we go fight the NJLU. How about you, my love?"

Surge had ducked already, as the bullet flew through their room. He laughed loudly, so the NJLU could hear him. "Come now, Haze...you wouldn't want a poor innocent child to be killed by your hands now, would you?" he shouted as he pulled up a poor boy child. "I suggest you don't repel my bullets and accept your fate!"

The chains fell limp as the fallen angel raised his hand to the sky. There was a brief pause until hundreds of tiny lights shined through the atmosphere.

"I am in this because of you didn't protect me when I was weak. Anger and hatred are what will get me to my heaven." He responded in a tone that sent a shiver down a human spine.

The lights became larger and larger.

"Children of the fallen angel; youth of the righteous betrayed ."

Fortuna did just what Guardian requested. Not only did she blast him with lightening, yelling "Take this electricity Sacer!", but she blasted him with sprites, which are infinitely stronger than regular lightening, and would hit every single chain or piece of metal on him.

The sky was illuminated as if it was a bright sunny day, with blue streaks as well, looking something like trees coming from her hands.

In the mean time, Diaphanous was waiting to see if her attack worked.

"Enertro, I did a mass mind-fuck, perhaps it will work on at least some of them... as a matter of fact, how do you feel about giving our team a bit more motivation?" She smiled at him slyly just before blasting all of the so-called 'villains' with increased dopamine levels. It was like giving them all cocaine with no drop... intensity in everything they were doing. More motivation to fight. This was one of Diaphanous' favorite powers. It could make an entire army 10 times as strong and gung ho, without making them sloppy.

"Two can play that game Sacer!"

Fortuna raised her arms:

"All who live with hope and faith, all who love and care..."

A blinding light eminated from her hands and Xenix lit up ten times brighter.

"All who pray for the ones who hate, those who despair, those who rage..."

The fallen angel had exploded into individual atoms. Slowly the pieces reformed, revolving around the fallen angel's wing like blobs of fleshy satellites. By the time his hand regenerated it was still raised to the sky holding the asteroids in their position.

"I can taste the hatred you have for me." A warbled weak voice echoed through the horizon.

Fortuna, being a shape shifter, made a similar move. She reformed herself into a giant glowing halo surrounding the giant hand.

"I can taste the love you have for not only myself, but for him." An etherial, beautiful voice called out.

Sacer reformed completely and spit at the glowing halo.

"Love has done nothing but made me suffer. Where was love when I fell?" He growled as he motioned his hands downward and the lights in the sky illuminated a hundred fold.

You can't defeat him that way. A soothing voice called to Fortuna and Guardian as the asteroids approached Earth with unimaginable speeds.

Wooshaba']Bart looked over his shoulder and saw that Arthur was closely behind him. He yelled back, "You are faster than I thought. I wonder if Wally taught you this technique." Bart began using his feet to create air bubbles. He looked down at Arthur as began running vertically up into the sky. He smiled down at him.

Arthur saw Bart go up. Wally had never taught him that. Well Arthur thought of something that could help. He pointed his hands down and shot a small beam of light. Slowly he went up. Then he gave more power. He went up into the sky after Bart.

Guardian gasped as he noticed the asteroids. Surely he is not going to detroy the human race? he asked himself.

He flew as fast as he could towards the hand, slicing at it as he passed. "Think of the humans you enjoyed! Your previous masters, your previous life!"

Enertro smiled. "Diaphanous, you not only help me greatly, but you are possibly the greatest asset to this team than I have ever known. I love you so much," he chuckled, as he felt his senses heighten, feeling like having a good battle...

Legion stared at his hands. "I feel...great!" he said happily. He could feel his adrenaline pumping. "I feel like I can destroy each one of them easily..."

"Don't get your hopes up...that witch- I mean master..." Surge looked around for fear Diaphanous heard that. "Master has granted us this bounty, yet we cannot put ourselves into a suicidal movement..."

The guardian's blade cut Sacer's hand in half between the middle and ring finger as he flew past. The fallen angel smiled as a length of barbed wire shot from the wound and latched onto the angel's ankle.

"Come now angel, surely you too see that the world must be cleared for the righteous?" He asked mockingly.

Fortuna was at a loss. She tried to brighten the halo, however, it was night, and her powers were not at their strongest.

"Sacer! Love was right in your reach, but you turned away from it!"

"Guardian!" Fortuna gasped as the wires went around him. "I fear he intends to do just that... destroy the human race and clear the world for the righteous, which in his deluded mind consists only of him, as I see it!"

Fortuna flew at the wire and slashed it in half with her Nihonto, freeing Guardian.

She was losing strength because of the night sky, but she was pushing with everything she had. Fortuna let herself form into a fog to try to recuperate a little. Why will he not give up and repent!?

Diaphanous looked over at Surge with a wicked smile on her face. She telepathically projected to him; Yes Surge, I did hear that. Care to try to assassinate me now?

"Enertro, it seems Surge still thinks of me as a witch, at least that is what he says to Legion. Perhaps you should not stand so close to me. You may get hit by a stray bullet when Surge trys to kill me." Diaphanous turned and glared up at Surge, and waved at him.

Prism walked over to Legion and Surge. He prepared for the NJLU to arrive. The final battle was here.

A beautiful soothing voice elegantly enetered the Angel's mind.

"Fortuna and Guardian." it greeted. "You cannot put out a fire by throwing more timber into it. He wants to be forgiven because he is unable to be alone anymore. His heart has broken a thousand times too many. He believes that his suffering is the cause of him betraying God's order so long ago and sacrificing himself so of course he wouldn't repent. Prove to him and show him that you truly love him and then his dark wing will crack and fall."

The fallen angel pointed to a single light and motioned it towards the ground. The asteriod hurtled toward the earth and smashed into the empty desert making a crater a mile in diameter. Dust, debris, and dirt covered most of the battlefield. Through the veil Sacer began lashing at the Guardian again with his chains and wire. A tear fell from his eye, but evaporated quickly.

"I-I want to be forgiven".

By who?

Enraged his intense wrath only increased darkening the skies ever more.

Forgiveness...If that is what he wants...that is what he will recieve... Guardian thought, hoping Fortuna caught it as well.

Guardian looked at Sacer, his sword evaporating at will. He let the chains and wire surround him. This could prove fatal if it didn't work...he thought.

"I know what I'm doing..." he muttered to boost his confidence. He let Sacer bring him in...

Surge saw Diaphanous and waved weakly. Master...I did not mean it! Please, forgive me! he thought worriedly. He did not want to encounter similar events as earlier...

"No my love. If a bullet were to be shot to you, I would gladly step in its way. Nothin will harm you, my love," said Enertro sternly, stepping closer the Diaphanous and giving a glare at Surge.

Fortuna did indeed receive the message. She reformed and flew toward Sacer, which nearly slashed her to ribbons by the barbed wires. She continued toward him, rushed at him, held him, and cried. "I love you Sacer... It is all OK. I love you no matter what. In my case, it is unconditional."

Tears ran down her cheeks and fell onto Sacer. Fortuna's cuts were so bad that her wings were shredded, and she lost much blood. She fell back and began to plummet to the earth, completely helpless.

"Enertro," Diaphanous responded, "Do not dare harm yourself for my sake! Ever! No stepping in front of a bullet. I have telekinesis and can turn the bullet around."

Diaphanous was not too worried about what Surge was doing. She responded to his message: you are not sorry. Why do you not ask Prism what I am really like. When he finally really knew me, he realized I was no threat, no 'witch', not messing with anyone except to give you all a bit more motivation. You never gave me a chance. You are almost like Sacer... just full of hate and jealousy. Unbelievably, I have been waiting for you to accept me, but I see that is not going to happen.

She looked dejected. "Enertro, I do not know about you, however Surge using a boy as a shield makes me sick. It is too cruel and it is cowardly of Surge. I would never put someone in front of myself to shield me. I take care of myself. Surge should do the same. I may just take that boy away right now."

Diaphanous was gritting her teeth. Keep calm... keep calm... She knew if she became too angry, her rage would be uncontrolled and taken out on Surge.

"If Surge makes me too angry, you know what will happen, Enertro. I only wanted his acceptance and I will never get it. How can I possibly work in an organization where one of the highest members wants me dead? I am trying to calm myself." Diaphanous held Enertro. "If he makes me too angry, I will not be able to control the rage... and it will be uncontrolled and directed at Surge. I know that." She whispered to Enertro. "I am doing my best to stay calm. If he threatens me or disrespects me any more, there will be complete chaos everywhere eventually."

Diaphanous was getting angry because she could not control her anger. Ironic. she thought.

"Calm down, my sweet, I'll tell Surge to put the boy down," he replied quietly, rubbing Diaphanous' back as best he could, hoping to help relax her. "Keep calm, remember our love, our dreams. They are within our grasp!"

Enertro smiled at Diaphanous and kissed her lightly before letting go, and picking up his communicator.

"Surge, this is your Master Enertro. I will give you this final warning; Treat Diaphanous with as much respect as you do me. Every last ounce of respect you have, give it. Anytime you refer to Diaphanous, you call her Master, Master Diaphanous, or anything she will allow you to call her. If she wants you to call her 'your highness', do so with haste. In fact, if Diaphanous tells you to lick her boots clean, I expect you to do so. Any order that she gives will be followed asap. This is your last warning, Surge. I remember long ago, when you treated everyone with respect, even the ladies. Try to be more like you were back then. Is that clear, General?" growled Enertro.

A faint "Yes, sir," was heard in the background.

"I'm glad we have come to this understanding. Now, I want you to put the boy down. We will defeat the NJLU on their own terms...we don't want them to use propaganda on us, if this war goes longer than this battle..."

"Yes, sir..." Surge responded, putting the boy down slowly.

Guardian calmed himself as best he could as he saw his best friend falling to the ground. "Sacer, you must save her! We both love you with all our hearts! Do not destroy what loves you!"

Sacer grew even more infuriated as Guardian and Fortuna ceased fighting and he took the oppurtunity by lashing his wire and chains viciously. His eyes opened wider as Fortuna proceeded through the guantlet; the closer she came the more feathers were ripped from here. Holy blood spattered left and right until she fell helplessly.

Guardian dropped his blade as the horrid metal lashes began taking their toll. The chains and wires fell to dust as he lowered his head trying to deny any tears.

The fallen angel was speechless as he watched on with shock. His mind battled itself over what to do for a sudden moment he returned to his once glorious form, but reverted back immediately. Clutching his head he dove in and caught Fortuna inches from the ground.

"You cannot die for me." He cried holding the angel in his arms. "Why would you sacrifice yourself for one like me; I am not worthy of redemption."

Now openly sobbing there was a sharp crack in the air as Sacer reeled back in pain trying to grasp his dark wing.

Tears fell from Fortuna's eyes. When her tears hit the ground, exotic white flowers bloomed everywhere .

She mustered all her strength to speak in a whisper. "Ahhh... but you are worthy Sacer; you always have been worthy of redemption. I do love you Sacer." More tears ran down from her eyes until the ground was a field of white exotic flowers, the flowers around her stained with her blood. She was sobbing now.

"Do you not understand how much it hurt me to watch you suffer? I could hardly stand it," she sobbed. Fortuna was getting very weak. She had healing powers but was too hurt to use them.

"Remember," she said in a whisper, "I always loved you." Bright warm light emanated from Fortuna... a warm accepting light. She smiled weakly at Sacer, and then she passed out with Xenix looking on helplessly.

"Thank you Enertro. I do not know what I did to deserve such a wonderful man. I feel as if I am not worthy at times." Diaphanous smiled at Enertro.
Her love was bursting from her. She kissed him and smiled.

She also sent a telepathic message to Surge:

Do not concern yourself with titles. The word "Master" is very empowering, however, if you cannot bring yourself to say it, just call me Diaphanous. Ditch the 'witch' thing. Oh... and by the way, I would never order you around needlessly as Enertro spoke to you about. I do not understand your hatred for me. However, you feel the way you feel. I cannot change it. Just do not treat me like shit... and do not worry, I will not ask you to refer to me as 'my Queen'. Diaphanous looked up at Surge and grinned.

Guardian rushed down to help Sacer with Fortuna, as Sacer had let his wire and chains dissolve.

"Fortuna, stay with us..." he called out to her, as he set his healing hands on her body.

As he attempted to heal her, he turned to Sacer. "My brother, it is good to have you back...we have missed you."

"My love, you are always worthy. I am the one that feels unworthy. You did, after all, save my life when we first met. That glorious day that we first met. It was one of the best days of my life..." he said as thoughts of the passionate love they had in his copter...

T-thank you, D-Diaphanous. I do not know what to say...My anger and...worry for Enertro overcame me when I first knew of you. Then afterwards, I was just...angry, upset, and somewhat embarrassed by the stunt you made me do... Surge thought back, the worried look still on his face.

Sacer was blinded by pain as his black wing hung on by a thread of bone and cartilege.

"Guardian...rip it off please." The fallen angel begged gritting his teeth to the point of shattering them.

Even if you are forgiven by god and them...can you forgive yourself?

...no, I must atone.

"Thank you for helping me heal Guardian," Fortuna spoke with a weak voice. She was not completely healed, but she was better.

"Sacer, you must forgive yourself. If God can forgive you, you can forgive yourself. You must. I know you want to." Fortuna pleaded with Sacer.

She reached her arm out and held his hand. "You're almost home, my great friend." Fortuna smiled at Sacer.

"Enertro, you flatter me as usual." Diaphanous grinned and kissed her soul mate passionately. "You are everything to me. I know I have said it before, however, I seem to have no means to express how much I love you." Diaphanous looked into his beautiful, soulfull eyes. It seemed she was falling in. Then she received something from Surge.

"Surge, please do not worry. I will harm no one. Please trust me and trust that I would give up my life to save Enertro. You need not worry that I would ever hurt or manipulate him. Surge, some day... I hope you find your soul mate... then you could understand completely." Diaphanous yelled this to him at his window. She wanted Enertro to hear that she was doing everything she could to smooth things over with Surge.

"I won't go home until I atone for my sins." The fallen angel said pulling his arm away from Fortuna. He reached to his back and with a sharp tug and horrific scream ripped his black wing from his back. He collapsed gasping in pain.

"I don't deserve forgiveness, I only deserve annihilation." He claimed weakly raising his hand to the sky and the asteroids faded into the night. The crimson sky and the feiry earth soon faded back to the once again passive earth.

In the moment of relief he stood and held his arms wide open.

"Venire ad Meum Pilus Lucedis!"

Come to me spear of Light!

Suddenly a black spear shot from the night piercing Sacer through the chest and exiting his lower back, jamming him to the ground. His body hung in the air as tears flowed from his eyes. Slowly he let go of life and his body went limp.

In his last moments he looked toward Guardian and Forunta mouthing the words: "Thank you..."

Fenrir approached Sacer and put his furry head into the man's chest. The angel embraced the warm wolf and smiled.

"You guys always were there for me." He said trying to refrain from crying.

"Do you believe now Sacer?" The wolf asked looking up at his friend.

Sacer paused and looked around the bright dimension before looking back down at Fenrir and muttering: "Maybe."

"Maybe, well that's a start." Fenrir mused running into the distance. "Come on they're all waiting for you Sacer! They've been waiting for a long time."

The spirit followed the wolf when a bright light blinded him. When it faded he saw Athena, Fenrir, Guardian, and Fortuna waiting with smiles. Athena ran up and nearly knocked him over jumping into his arms.

"My lovely Sacer, welcome home, we've missed you so much." A dissembodied voice filled the once dark angel with warmth and comfort. "You've been through quite a lot, but please know that it was all for a purpose you will realize one day. Before you continue your duties as The Angel of Holy I want you to take a vacation. Maybe a life worth living."

A pool of water below him revealed his old self: short brown hair, a scar down his right cheek, and chipped tooth. "Hey Decimus." He said joyfully into the reflection trying not to drop Athena who was sobbing happily.

He looked to Fenrir, Guardian, and Fortuna before saying: "Thank you all, but I still feel I don't deserve this."

The fallen angel's body hung limp from his sacrificial javelin with a weak smile across his lifeless lips.

Fortuna was stunned at Sacer's action. "No! She yelled!" She ran up to him and pulled the javelin out of his body and began working her healing powers. Guardian," she called to him, "come help me".

With a voice beyond the beauty of any sound on Earth, Fortuna began singing:

To eternal dimension

For Love and affection...

Open your heart
For peace and redemption...

Come to the grace
of Heaven's eternal fantasy...

Come to the grace
of Earthly devoted harmony...

Fortuna had her eyes closed using every ounce of her healing power on Sacer. She continued singing as if in a trance. He must come back.

Sacer was pulled back with a sharp jerk away from Athena he clawed his way trying to get back to her but couldn't over come the pull.

"I'm so close." He cried out as the force dragged him across the white landscape.

The fallen angel's eyes slowly opened and revealed a blurry figure holding him. A sweet voice eased his horrible pain and through it he managed to lift his hand and carress his nurturer's face. Quickly he became more aware of his surroundings and realized it was Fortuna over him.

"Why do you insist on hurting yourself for me?" He begged weakly as blood trickled from his mouth.

"I am not hurting myself Sacer." Fortuna smiled happily. "You being back with us... I do not remember any pain. I suppose it is like when a mother has a baby, and when asked about the pain, they 'forget', or minimize it... or say it was not bad at all, when at the time it was. However, the result made the perception of that pain minimal compared to the reality."

Fortuna grinned and kissed Sacer on the forehead.

"Here you are back with us after so long, and I'm talking psychology!" She giggled. "Seriously Sacer... we missed you so very much. A part of us was missing without you. I told you the pain would end. Now... forgive yourself. God has forgiven you, thus it is required you forgive yourself lest you believe God to be wrong in his forgiveness?" Fortuna was still smiling... "Yeah... all that mumbo-jumbo, but there is something to it. Purge the guilt. Formally ask God for forgiveness, and ask him to let you forgive yourself. It will happen."

Fortuna moved a charred piece of hair from Sacer's face. "Nice hairdo... Napalm style? I hope you weren't hurt. It looks like the fire went out prior to touching your skin."

She still could not believe Sacer was there and not looking like something out of Hellraiser, with all the chains and hooks. Fortuna chuckled to herself, and could not help but grin at Sacer, remembering that old movie.

"You will be rewarded Sacer. I have a feeling that I will be ordered to bestow good fortune on you. Difficult as it was, and with all the side roads you took, you did God's will. As he said, all would be revealed at some time in the future, however, I believe your sufferring is now over."

Fortuna cried tears of joy... The beautiful, velvety white flowers covering the earth as far as the eye could see. "I missed you." She whispered.

"I wish I could say that I feel no pain right now, but I'm such a terrible liar." He said with a weak laugh loolking directly into Fortuna's eyes.

He struggled to stand to his feet and leaned against a jutting fissure from the battle. "How can I ask god for forgiveness when I am still so ashamed of myself? I must earn my salvation." He said stubbornly gasping for breath and clutching his wound.

At the mention of his hair the long strands of beautiful silver regenerated. "That Diaphanous is an angry one, perhaps it is of my doing. I have turned a dove into a devil."

"There is still some traces of evil on this earth and before I can be forgiven I want to eliminate them. I do not want to be given anything for free." He dug his blade from the earth and tried to walk away but collapsed.

As Fortuna whispered into his ear, Sacer began sobbing "I'm so sorry." He admitted.

Haze felt the wave coming. He blocked as many minds as he could. Unfortunately he could only cover the NJLU. All the Titans went down. Haze yelled to Diaphanous, "Come and fight me. You will not hurt my friends." He lept up into the sky towards Diaphanous.

As Diaphanous slowly rose, she disappeared. She knew she did not likely have a chance with Haze. As far as she knew, she could be as powerful, maybe more powerful, but she did not know how to use that power, and had yet to discover her full powers and strength... but she would give it all she had. Now she wished she had Sacer at her side.

Diaphanous could not be seen or felt when she was in this state. It was as if no one was there. Her atomic structure was slightly different from that of earth humans. She spoke to him telepathically. The battle between them would look bizarre. One man floating is all that would be seen. No words, nothing.

"Haze, you are power mad. You want to control everything. That is wrong!" Diaphanous could hardly believe she got the words out. This may have been the most hypocritical thing she ever said. However, when she and Enertro were in power, things would change for the better. She knew what Enertro wanted, but in the process, much good could be done. The word 'villain' was not in her vocabulary. There was no such thing... only people with different views.

Getting Haze out of the way would be the most important thing they could do to cripple the NJLU. Get rid of the one in charge. She also noticed that the younger 'heroes', for lack of a better word, (actually she preferred 'them' to 'heroes'), were affected by her mind manipulation, however, Haze blocked everyone else.

Damn!

Diaphanous telekinetically shot a dumpster at Haze at blinding speed.

"Sacer, you always were hard headed," Fortuna smiled at him. "You realize your repentance does earn the good. You do not have to go out and do anything. I understand what you say about Diaphanous, however, I think in the end, she will stick to being a decent person. Of course, it is impossible to say for sure.

"Sacer, I do not know if you are aware of this, but Diaphanous has unimaginable destructive powers... she is unaware of them, which is good. Sacer, I am referring to powers such as nuclear fusion, creation of black holes. She is from another planet; therefore growing up without any of her race with her to tell her about these powers and show her how to use them, she is blind to them.

"Unfortunately, her powers are starting to emerge more every time she fights or gets angry. If her nuclear powers showed themselves accidentally during this fight with the NJLU," Fortuna sighed, "game over." and it would not likely be on purpose. It would just happen.

"I do not believe there is anything we can do about this situation." Fortuna looked resigned.

The vindicator angel that was Guardian, walked with the rigidness of a high ranking official. "We can stop this. If Diaphanous has the power to do all this, we must stop this battle from existing...from happening. She must not be allowed to fight..."

He stared outwards at the beginning storm that could be the new World War...

Enertro was slightly surprised. Diaphanous, we are supposed to be by one another's side! I cannot have you defeated by Haze... he thought, hoping to send his message to his love.

"I won't let her fight alone..." he growled as he prepared himself to discharge his own energy at Haze. If not hurting him, he would atleast distract him...

"I am sorry my love," Diaphanous projected to Enertro, but he called me out and he wants a mind war. Shall I come back down next to you? If you would like that, I will do so." She would do anything for Enertro.

Diaphanous feared that if she was next to Enertro, he might get hurt, and she projected that to Enertro. "My love, I am afraid something may happen to you. If you were hurt in any way on my account, I could never forgive myself!" She hoped he would understand, but perhaps the two of them together could muster a doubling of power... interesting idea.

"Guardian, you are correct. Diaphanous may not mean for such a thing to happen... she would not have the control to create the fusion or black hole or whatever, far enough away that the earth would survive. She alone would be the only one left. Knowing she killed Enertro, she would torture herself, perhaps even kill herself."

Fortuna flew after Guardian with the intention of stopping this possible Debacle.

"Sacer, stopping Diaphanous is the thing to do, but not to earn anything." She smiled lovingly at Sacer. "I am so delighted you are home, dear."

Arthur saw Bart go up. Wally had never taught him that. Well Arthur thought of something that could help. He pointed his hands down and shot a small beam of light. Slowly he went up. Then he gave more power. He went up into the sky after Bart.

OOC- Crap, lots of posts. I've had so much practice for crew.

IC- Prism ran up and yelled. "Come NJLU! Give your most powerful fighter! I am ready!" Prism was completely ready to fight. He was in the zone. Any fighter would fall to him now.

00C- Woosh, wanna throw me a bone and give me a hero to fight.

Sacer grabbed Fortuna by the shoulder.

"We shouldn't interfere with mortal toils even if the entire world is at stake, afterl all, isn't that what happened to me?" He said methodically. "I need time to regenerate before I can let Diaphanous see me again."

Arthur saw Bart go up. Wally had never taught him that. Well Arthur thought of something that could help. He pointed his hands down and shot a small beam of light. Slowly he went up. Then he gave more power. He went up into the sky after Bart.

Bart saw him coming as he got higher he suddenly stop running and began dropping directly towards him. He made himself into a human bullet that was directed straight at Arthur.

Arthur looked toward Bart. He was coming straight down. Arthur only had a few minutes to react. Gathering his power he shot a beam of light at Bart then shot a beam of light to move sideways.

OOC: I think Morph should be appearing very soon for Prism. If he doesn't post soon though I will send someone for him to fight.

IC: Haze watched as Diaphanous rose into the air. "I am not power hungry. I just care about my peers and my enemies. I care about the fate of the world. I am not selfish like you are." Haze looked down at Enertro. "I see that you have someone who you love. You would probably give your life for him just as I would give my life for any of my friends. If you wish to fight we can, but I do not encourage it. If you try to hurt my friends again I will not let you slide so easily."

Bart was hit by the beam of light. He was blasted into the ground.

Static saw Enertro standing at the bottom of the hill. He was one of the main players in the operation. Virgil pulled out his metal disc and jumped on it. He then made his way towards Enertro.

Arthur landed on the ground. He looked over toward Bart. He wondered if he was ok. Arthur didn't want to kill. Keeping his distant he yelled. "Hey Impulse are you already beaten?"

ooc: I'll probably post very little, if not at all today, because I'm going to an amusement park :D

Enertro was planning on firing a deadly energy attack at Haze, when, out of the corner of his eyes, he spotted Static. He smiled wickedly as he turned suddenly and launched the beam at the man on a disc.

"Also, for your information, I did not hurt your friends. I temporarily put them in a sad mood. If you try to hurt my friends... if any of your people try to hurt my friends..."

Before she could finish speaking, she saw a guy she knew as Static preparing to strike Enertro. In a millisecond, she became enraged, and Static's clothing lit on fire while she hit him with a blast of 70mph straight-line winds. Diaphanous was not controlling the wind so much as her anger was turning to rage, and the out of control powers began to emanate from her.

She flew over to Enertro. "Enertro! I will not leave your side! I worry for you, although I know you are very powerful, if you are caught off guard..." She grabbed a hold of him. You do not need it, but I will be your body guard."
She told him lovingly.

Diaphanous glanced at Haze. "Now Haze! That was self-defense! Do not accuse Enertro of attacking first!" Diaphanous' eyes became completely red, glowing in the dark... no whites at all. The idea that anyone would dare hurt her Enertro enraged her.

Then something very strange became visible in the distance. Very high in the sky, illuminated mushroom clouds began forming. Prior to each mushroom cloud appearing, there was the sound of an explosion.

Fortuna looked at Sacer and at Guardian. "I do not know. Perhaps Sacer is right. If we are going to intervene, it should be soon." She pointed skyward at the mushroom clouds.

"What right do we have to intervene with mortal affairs?" Sacer asked clutching the wound in his chest with pain. "I'll go talk to Diaphanous, after all, I'm not an angel anymore." He mused weakly pointing the the vacant space where his wings once were.

He looked at the mushroom clouds and sighed. "This is my fault and I should be the one to fix it." He said walking towards the battle digging his blade out of the ground. Every step he took was staggered, and every breath Sacer took was painful. He hadn't told Fortuna that he wasn't close to being healed.

I want to earn my forgiveness.

"Diaphanous!" He called into the battle stumbling over a rock.

His long silver hair masked his expression of pain as it hung in front of his blood stained face. His black armor was cracked and torn at a hundred places, his right gauntlet was completely gone and his chest plate suffered a hole from the spear of light.

I don't her to see me defeated, especially not to my own self.

A large crow that had been circling the battlefield landed and shifted to reveal Morph. He looked at Prism and asked, "You wished to see me?"

Static quickly threw his inflamed clothes to the ground. He used his electrokinesis to cut through the wind and design himself a path towards his friend, Haze. When Static was next to Haze he said to Diaphanous, "You are a hothead. That was not self-defense. I hadn't even attacked. I was simply going to ask Enertro some questions before he launched that energy beam at me." Virgil looked at Haze who was still examining Diaphanous and said, "Since you seem to want to act so rashly I will not be attacked and not respond." A white bolt appeared in each of Static's eyes and then two thunderbolts came down from the heaven's directly on top of Enertro and Diaphanous. Haze sat back and watched to see what would happen.

Impulse suddenly appeared behind Arthur. "Nope." He grabbed Arthur and began running at five times the speed of sound. He then let Arthur go and slung him into the ground.

Arthur hit the ground. His healing power started to kick in. The cuts and scraps were going away. Getting up he looked at Bart. Then he ran and grabbed him. Running he let go of him then shot the strongest light beam at Bart that he had ever done.

"I am not a hothead! You were going to attack Enertro. I wanted to stop you... that is all! I only want to keep him safe! I will not let anyone hurt my love!" Diaphanous yelled to them. "If you stop attacking us, I will stop attacking you! I do not enjoy having to do this!" she yelled.

Responding to Static's attack, not only thunderbolts, but lightening sprites shot from her hands and met his thunderbolts, completely annihilating it and heading toward Haze and Static. A sprite was infinitely stronger than any other type of lightening, and Diaphanous' weather control was getting better.

However, she was completely unaware of the various nuclear explosions she was unintentionally setting off far far above all of them. If she had grown up on her own planet, this would not be happening. Her people always got along, as they had to. With each being able to destroy the planet, there was a balance of power. Eventually, a group with selfish intentions started a war, and the planet lasted all of one day before it completely exploded. Since the age of fifteen, she had been on earth with no one to help her use her powers, control them, or even tell her what they were. This debacle was the result. On her planet, everyone controlled there anger. It was crucial if they wanted to live.



Even if she stopped her weather sprites from her hands, which were an amazing site to behold, she was completely unaware that she might annihilate the entire earth with fission and fusion. With her rage out of control, the explosions and mushroom clouds only got bigger, however they remained high above them, where they were not affecting anyone on the ground... yet.

"Guardian... Perhaps Sacer is right. He wants to do this as a penance, and I do believe he will be able to reason with her far better than us, considering they have a sort of bond." Fortuna said thoughtfully, looking at Guardian.

"I think Sacer is right. Unless told directly by God Himself, we cannot intervene in this. Sacer can try to talk Diaphanous down. I believe it to be the best idea."

She turned her gaze to Sacer. "Sacer, it is not necessary that you do penance, however, if it makes you feel more comfortable, it is fine that you do. However..." she paused, "do not blame yourself for Diaphanous' actions. You are not the one causing them. She is. Remember that."

Fortuna went to Sacer and hugged him lightly, trying not to hurt him. As she held him, she used her healing powers on him as well, hoping this would put him back to normal. In her mind, Fortuna still saw Sacer as an angel.

"Go forth and do what you will, Angel Sacer." She said softly.

"Thank you Fortuna, but I must go this alone." He said gently letting go of the angel. Walking away he quietly coughed a clump of bloody tissue into his hand. "Persistence is the mark of a champion." He added smiling.

Without the darkness or my wings I can't go for much longer. I only have enough for one last fight. I won't let Diaphanous follow in my cursed footsteps. Power will engulf her and she'll hurt Enertro then the darkness will consume her and the world will shatter.

He was now within twenty feet of Diaphanous and Enertro and his vision began to blur while his life slowly faded from him. He felt a terrible wrath emitting from Diaphanous as he slowly approached dragging his blade behind him.

Just a little more...

"Hey Diaphanous." He said trying to catch her attention now within arm's reach.

"Sacer!" She hugged him. Then she took a good look at him. "You do not look so well." Diaphanous said to him sadly. "Your wing... it is gone. Be careful. The NJLU may try to kill you!" She stated angrily. "I just want to leave this place with Enertro. I want him safe. I want us to start a new life together. I despise the fact that we have to fight this group in order to start our new lives." Diaphanous resented the NJLU for making her do this.

She still had no clue regarding the nuclear power she posessed, and that it was taking form above the earth.

"I do not care about taking over the world too much any more. I just want to be with Enertro, however, he wants to rule the world very badly, so I must help him." Diaphanous said in a matter of fact tone.

"Are you going to be OK, Sacer?" she asked.

Sacer embraced her one last time and smiled.

"I'll be fine." He muttered weakly as blood slowly rolled from his mouth. "It only hurts me to see you become like this, to become what I have. I'm afraid this is the last time we will see each other in this world. Take care everyone."

With a focus of what little energy he had left Sacer began flying into the sky. He concentrated his thoughts hard to send a last message to Diaphanous.

Your anger is shaking the very heavens themselves and I'm going to meet this wrath head on. Through my eyes you will see what you are doing.

As the broken angel reached the atmosphere he was singed by the wake of several nuclear blasts. Despite his skin peeling like a rotting fruit he plunged himself through the fire and radiation into the center of his former master's rage. With a last burst of energy he began drawing in everythnig around him.

You can have your life with Enertro, just stop this quest for domination for it will take that dream away from you as it has me. Now all I have left is to see you live rightly and that is more than enough.

Through all the pain he managed to quitely hum Sound Life one last time before falling to the incredible damage. Sacer's body evaporated into dust that fell into the atmosphere and burned in gorgeous "meteor shower", as each spec of dust burned to the earth it transformed into a shower of gorgeous white feathers that danced gradefully to the ground.

Before Sacer died he quitely thanked god and smiled.

"Finally, an opponent. So who are you? The name's Prism." Prism waited for a response before he attacked. "You know, the last hero I fought wasn't much of a challenge. I hope you will be different."

"Me, I am known as Morph, and I can assure you that I am unlike any you have fought before." Morph commented as he looked at his challenger.

"Are youu sure of that, Morph? I have been fighting and killing heroes for years. Either way, I'm sure this will be fun. Let's begin." Prism began circling his foe. A guy named Morph, will most likely be able to change shape, so he didn't know what to expect.

Morph simply spun on his heel, following Prism but leaving the first move to his foe.

It was obvious that Morph and Prism could keep turning for awhile. So Prism started the attack. He rushed up, did a few close combat moves, none of whicnh were meant to do much, and jumped back. He let loose a beam of energy flying at Morph.

When Prism rushed up, Morph sidestepped and followed by dropping down to avoid the beam of energy. He was more interested in finding out what his opponent could do than striking back, at least for now.

Prism saw how he dodged the beam. He treid another tactic. He held out one hand, and shot a beam. Then, he shot another from the other hand, in a different angle. Then another. Dodge this, he thought.

Haze quickly created a mental barrier that block all of Diaphanous' attacks. Haze then said, "You are out of control. You are a loose cannon. By saving your love you are destroying the world. I am not creating the fight. YOU ARE!"

Bart barely dodged the light beam. Bart then began moving his hands really fast in a circular motion. He created a strong whirlwind and shot it towards Arthur.

Arthur copied the motion and shot his own whirlwind. The whirlwind canceled each other out. Arthur moved his hands fast to shoot as many light beams as he could make. They kept coming out and out toward Bart.

Bart dodged as many lightbeams as possible. Then he was finally struck in his back by one of them. Bart began spiraling out of control. Eventually Bart regained control and began spinning rapidly. He spun until he began burrowing into the ground. He disappeared from Arthur's view.

As Sacer died the black sky exploded with lights and colors. From the light a harmonius song rang out. All of the people across the world stood still at the iridescent display of power. Then they appeared. The four archangels. They all descended from Heaven alongside each other. In the front stood Michael and Gabriel, with Uriel and Raphael closely behind them. Then Michael spoke. "Sacer, God has excepted your forgiveness. Rise out of your feathers and take your new form." All of the archangels hovered over the feathers. Uriel looked towards the other two angels and said, "Come Otium and Fortuna. Join us as your brother rises and becomes one with our Father again."

Arthur collasped onto the ground. About half of his energy had been used with just shooting the light beams. Arthur knew that Bart was underground now. Getting up slowly he got ready for Bart's next attack. Why was Arthur fighting the only person who really understood him and one of the few speedsters on the planet? Arthur waited for the attack.

Morph twisted and bent, including bending his body around the beams. When he was working at it, it was difficult to hit Morph, but not actually impossible.

Bart was tired of fighting Arthur. He decided to try and talk it out. The land under Arthur's feet suddenly became very loose and then Arthur fell. Bart then said, "Don't move. I just want to talk." He waited for a reply.

Arthur collasped onto the ground. He looked at Bart. Why be reduced to this? "What do you want Bart?"

"We should not be fighting. Not like this anyway. You are not a bad kid. Sometimes you just make bad choices. What is the matter with you?" Bart asked Arthur.

"NO NO NO!" Diaphanous yelled, as Sacer pointed out what she was doing.

She fell to the ground and looked up. Nuclear bombs? Created by... my anger? She was stunned.

"No Sacer! Do not go into there!" Diaphanous pleaded with him. "Here I am, destroying you yet again!" Her tears were unstoppable...

Suddenly, the sky exploded in color and angels were visible... several of them this time.

"Enertro, I was told explicitly that we will never ever be able to be together if we continue our plan to control the world." She looked at him desperately. "I do not care about ruling the world! I just want to be with you! Please say you will give up this quest to rule the world, or we will never be together... told to me by an angel." Diaphanous looked at Enertro hoping he would agree, if not...

"Look! It is Sacer! And he is in an angelic form!" Diaphanous said excitedly as she pointed up at the angels. She began to cry. "I am sorry Sacer." Diaphanous looked down. She remembered when he called her weak for feeling she had hurt him. Now she was afraid that Enertro would not give up his plans about dominating the world.

All the winds and explosions caused by Diaphanous' anger stopped.

Fortuna looked over to Sacer... "Welcome back Sacer," she whispered, and she held him as a tear slid down her face. "I am so grateful you are back."

Guardian floated upwards towards Sacer. "It is good to embrace us again, is it not Sacer? Welcome back. Welcome home," he replied.

Enertro was dumbfounded. When my dreams clash together... he thought, looking from the NJLU to Diaphanous. I pick the best one...

He embraced Diaphanous. "My love, I am willing to follow you to the ends of the Earth...however, does this mean I cannot destroy the NJLU ever?"

"I do not know, Enertro... only that we cannot rule the world. As far as the NJLU goes, we will have to wait and see. Let's leave it for now."

Diaphanous held his face in her hands and kissed him passionately. "Thank you for choosing me, my soulmate. I know how much your plans meant to you. I think I may cry I am so happy! I love you so much!" She kissed him again.

"Perhaps we should just get out of here for now. I believe Sacer. He is a full angel along with the others. We must trust them Enertro. May we please leave?" Diaphanous begged. "I would like to go to a tropical island and relax... just the two of us. You could leave everything in Surge's hands. I am sure that would make him feel good, however I am sad that he still despises me." she said dejectedly.

Diaphanous held him. "We could wait in the hotel. I do not want you fighting as I cannot fight. I cannot control my powers, and they are exceedingly strong. I could accidentally blow up the earth... and I do not want you to fight out here without me next to you." Diaphanous begged Enertro again and held him tight. "My love for you knows no bounds." She told him and kissed him passionately again. "After all, we are the masters. Let us leave this junk to the rest of the organization... besides," she looked at him seductively, "we could have some 'alone time' right now." She smiled slyly.

"How can I pass up loving my own personnal angel," he chuckled, as he looked deeply into Diaphanous' eyes. "Let us go, then, my love. Alone time is what I've been waiting for since we left my carrier."

He picked up Diaphanous in his strong hands and kissed her passionately. "My love, pick any island you want. If you want, I can also tell you about my other...private...island, with a mansion," he chuckled as he set her back down, pressing his body against hers in a tight embrace. "As long as your happy, we're all safe and happy," he said, pushing some strands of hair out of her face before kissing her again.

"The pain. This is the exact opposite of what I wanted to be. All I have is pain and angry. I can't be helped. Bart no one can help me now. The angry has taken over me." Arthur proped himself onto a wall and was slowly healing himself.

The broken angel admired the glorious light as he floated in the infinite white void. He was both scared and delighted for he couldn't predict what the archangels would commit: punishment or reward. As they spoke he smiled softly as a pure warmth filled him throughout. Slowly his wings grew back and he felt a kind of joy he hadn't felt for over a thousand years.

"I have something I must do..." He spoke to the archangels in his new form.

Sacer drifted down from the sky in between the mass of falling feathers. His armor reflected gloriously in the moonlight that was at full presence. The silver and blue figure floated down to the earth graciously and as soon as he feet touched a pair of massive wings shot out and embraced the night. The angel held his head into the air taking his revival into full effect. His long silver hair gently caressed his cheeks and failed to hide a large smile.

"I was once asked if sin can be forgiven and at the time I couldn't answer, but now I can. I would ask, is it in our hands to cast judgement even on ourselves?" He proclaimed streatching his arms and wings and continued with a gentle voice "I feel lighter, guilt must weigh a lot."

He reached his hand towards the moon and a bright light revealed everything as the sun would. He turned and saw his two companions waiting.

"You have demonstrated amazing patience and love waiting for me to return all these years, but I'm afraid you'll wait again for god and I have made a deal with each other. There's something I was promised long ago. Farewell Guardian. Good bye Fortuna." He said with a sad tone masked in his words struggling to hold his tears.

He turned to the combatants, walked to Diaphanous, and looked down on her with a gentle smile. "A little different from the half demon, Reave, who stumbled into your company?" He said with a little humor hinted in his voice as he placed a hand on her shoulder. "If you continue to fight you will lose Enertro as I lost Athena, but you can turn from it and be happy. You have an infinite capacity for love and even more for the willingness to defend it. Defend your love, but do not attack your enemy."

He turned to Enertro and extended his hand. "I can tell you dominion over everything is not worth anything. Keep an eye on Diaphanous, you two need each other more than you know."

Slowly the angel and the light faded from existance and eventually disapeared into the night.

"and now, it's about time I go home, this won't be the last time you see me though." He said as his body was engulfed by the fading light.

Prism grabbed the ground. He sent a trail of fire rushing toward Morph. It got larger as it approached him. When it finally reached him, it blasted up in to the air, engulfing Morph in a pillar of flame.

Morph spun and dropped to avoid the flame. If Prism had been able to see Morph's face, he would have realized it went from 'relaxed' to serious.

He faced Prism as he rose and as his arm shifted into a spike* and he lunged at Prism.

Bart looked at Arthur and said, "I will always be there to watch out for you. You could be a great speedster someday. Come join me or continue training with Omino. You do what you have to do. If you need me you know where to find me." In a blink of an eye Bart was gone.

Haze stood there amazed. He had seen seven angels in one day. As the four archangels made their way back to Heaven, Haze looked over at Diaphanous. She was madly in love with Enertro. Perhaps maybe one day, she can overcome her anger and learn to control her powers. She will be great. Yes she will. Haze flew over to where Morph and Prism fighting.

Arthur got up slowly. He was healing, but at a slow rate. Arthur knew that he could never join a team for along time. He needed to master his new powers. Getting up he looked around. Arthur was far away from Mexico City. He ran back to Omino. "Master enought of this stuff. I want to be taught. If you wouldn't help me I will teach myself."

Omino looked down at Arthur and said, "One thing that you need to learn is respect and patience. You will never truly master light without them. Your tongue will get you in trouble one day." Omino looked on as the angels flew away.

Prism quickly grabbed Medallion's Disk. He lit it on fire and met Morph's Charge head on. Then he saw another hero coming toward him. Crap, I can handle this guy, but not two heroes. Better try to finish Morph off. He lit himself on fire. It didn't hurt him, but would make things harder for Morph.

Haze saw as the disk flew at Morph. He yelled out to his friend, "MORPH! Watch out!" He quickly dove in to try and help Morph.

Sacer, in all his angelic glory, still felt empty inside. Minutes passed on Earth were years spent in heaven. The Angel of Holy wandered the sky debating within himself what he should do.

I still miss her. I love her, but not how I love the other angels, Athena...If I could only be human again.

The proud angel sat in thought in the kingdom of light for days on end debating whether he should cast his wings aside again and take up a mortal shell.

"Are angels allowed to want to be human?" He asked himself looking into the pearly distance.

Morph pulled back as Prism immolated himself. He decided to go at this from another point and 'shot' out thin, exceptionally hard darts at his opponent.

As Morph launched the darts at Prism, he spun the disk around and used it as a shield from the darts.

Fortuna had tears streaming down her face. "I knew you would make it back to us... I just did not know you would leave us so soon." she said sadly, while giving him a hug. "You will be gone a long time again, is this not true?" she asked sadly.

"Well the important thing is, you found your way back." Fortuna smiled at Sacer. "May your future endeavor go well and go with God."

Diaphanous looked up and saw a bright light. "Sacer!" She ran and held him. "I am so happy for you!" A tear ran down her cheek. "Thanks for stopping me from blowing up the earth." Diaphanous smiled wanly at him.

"Enertro and I decided we are going to his private island to get away from all of this," she waved her arm around them. "We would prefer some alone time." Diaphanous smiled lovingly at Enertro. "I am the luckiest woman ever," she stated, with much appreciation, as she squeezed Enertro's hand.

Diaphanous smiled and waved as Sacer the angel ascended back into the heavens.

She held onto Enertro. "I would love to go to the island you speak of," she smiled. "And you, my soul mate, are my personal angel." Diaphanous kissed him passionately and lovingly.

"I don't know why I feel this way Fortuna, but I don't like it." He paused burying his head into his arms. "I don't miss my former life of course, but I miss being human. I used to dream about a place near a cliffside and having a family with a dog. It wasn't perfect but it really was my heaven."

He looked into the amazing landscape and sighed as a tear swelled up in his eye.

"I never was too far from the light." He said smiling as the clouds parted and he fell through the gap.

"Perhaps that is your reward, Sacer." Fortuna said as she smiled. "Have trust. You will experience joy. I promise."

Enertro shook Sacer's hand. "Old friend, I will heed your advice, and take care of Dia with everything in my possession. Do visit if you get the time," he said as the angel flew back towards the heavens.

"Of course my love...We just need to find a way to get there..." Enertro said, averting his attention to his soul mate, returning her kisses.

The freezing salt water splashed into the man's face and awoke him. Decimus sat up gazing over the vast ocean from the sandy beach, he climbed to his feet and backed up to avoid the tide again. There was a loud gurgling and choking noise when he looked over and say a platinum haired woman also awakened, but more abrubtly, by the waves.

He ran over and helped her up as she pulled sea weed from her hair. The two spent hours introducing themselves, which was strange considering neither of them remembered anything before today.

Fortuna looked down at Decimus, beaming. Trying to keep this a secret was nearly impossible! At last, he is blessed with good fortune.

Fortuna smiled over him and Athena, and dropped a basket of exotic white flowers over them. Something for them to remember on the day they first "met". "It rained white flowers."

Fortuna gazed at them a little longer, them flew away, joy in her heart.

Omino looked over the landscape and saw that the battle was over. There was no need for him to be there. Omino looked over at Arthur and said, "Come we must begin your training." Lew began walking off into the distance.

Decimus gazed in marvel at the raining flowers before plucking one out of the air. He smiled and presented it to Athena whom accepted it blushing. Suddenly a wolf pounced on Decimus knocking onto the ground and began licking him excessively. The man pushed the wolf off of him and got back to his feet.

"Fenrir seems like an appropriate name for you." Decimus said rubbing the side of the dog's head.

"I like it." Athena claimed patting the wolf on the head as well.

The three continued to walk along the beach until they came across what seemed like an uninhabited house.

The darts impacted in the disk, and depending on it's toughness, logged in it. Morph decided to play 'blowing for Prism' as he grabbed and lobbed a head-sized rock at his opponent.

Prism blasted the rock to nothingness. He looked around. He couldn't see anyone around at all except for Morph and the guy who knew him. "Where the hell is Enertro, and Dia?!?" Prism would have to look for them later. At first, he spun arounmd and launched a massive barrage of energy beams at Morph. He didn't stop to see it they hit. He just aimed and let them fly.

One of the wildly flying beams grazed him and he grabbed his side for the period it would take till he recovered. To keep up the sheer, so to speak, he began grabbing and throwing a large assortment of local items, rocks, sticks, ect.

Prism saw rocks and sticks being thorwn. He destroyed the big ones, and ignored the ones that didn't matter. While he was still on fire, he rushed toward Morph, disk still in hand and still ablaze, and started swinging it at him.

As Prism rushed him, Morph seemed to disappear as he became just almost completely transparent. From such a state avoiding the wild swings became child's play but they flames were still a problem.

"What the?!?" Prism looked around. Morph was gone. He needed to find away to see him. He blazed the fire around himself even larger. No concentrating all his energy on feeding the flame.

As Prism increased his self-immolation, Morph simply continued backing up. His opponent would surely shortly run out of juice and it'd be open season so to speak.

OOC: Whenever Morph and Prism stop fighting I am going to right the closing post.

"Enertro, all in all, I am happy the way everything turned out. So we did not beat the NJLU. It seems unimportant right now." Diaphanous kissed Enertro passionately. "The only thing that matters to me is you." She held him for what seemed to be an eternity, then whispered, "My soul mate; my love."

Prism let the fire die down. He was irratated. Everyone left him, with no help. Dammit Enertro, is this how you treat your generals? And then there was Morph. "You coward! Show yourself!" Prism spun around, blasting energy as he spun, making himself a living turret. I'll kill this guy, then I'll ge see Enertro for a little visit.

IC- "If you're going to fight, than fight like a man. Not a coward who just hides. I thought you said you would be like nothing I have ever seen. Yeah, well I've seent his before. And I'm merciless to a coward. So, come out, and fight."

"Fine." He replied appearing in front of Prism and punching him in the gut.

IC- Prism was hit hard, but he was prepared. He grabbed Morph's arm. Now that he had him, he wouldn't let go. He lit himself on fire. "Getting a little hot for you?"

The fire burned Morph's arm and he 'collapsed' it to get it out of Prism's grasp. Holding the injured arm, he stumbled back so he was on the edge of the plateau that they'd been fighting on as he launched a number of 'darts' at Prism again.

Prism unleashed a massive energy blast. It vaporised some of the darts, some came through. One hit him on the arm. He ripped it out in pain, and tried another barrage of energy at Morph.

Morph stumbled back as he dodged the beam before firing out some butt darts while tottering on the edge of the cliff.

Prism used the disk again, blocking the darts. Then, using all his might, he rushed foward at Morph, and slammed into his chest with his disk.

Wooshaba']Omino looked over the landscape and saw that the battle was over. There was no need for him to be there. Omino looked over at Arthur and said, "Come we must begin your training." Lew began walking off into the distance.

"I can learn it from you master. The only respect I have for is the people i care about master, but patience I must learn. Yes master." Arthur stated. Omino was going to be his master. He started to walk off with Omino.

Morph was sent flying off the cliff before preforming a 'spider-man' by elongating himself to grab a chunk of rock.

"Do those two not know the fight is over?" Diaphanous asked Enertro, referring to Morph and Prism. "Let them have their fun, I guess, and we can have ours." She smiled seductively at him.

Prism walked over to where Morph was hanging. He stared down at him. He grabbed the ground and set a fire. It would slowly move dwon to cover Morph. Also, he began charging energy for a massive beam, one like the one he used to kill Gold Medallion. The fire had already spread to the rock Morph was hanging from.

The trio (Decimus, Athena, and Fenrir) slowly approached the house when an armed guard ran up to the two.

"Excuse me, but this is a private area I'm gonna have to..." He was interrupted by another guard who sprinted and whispered something into his ear. "Oh I'm very sorry Mister uhh." He paused to look at his mini computer for a correct ID. "Reave".

Decimus only cocked an eyebrow as he had to wonder what the hell was going on.

"Whose house is this then?" He asked.

"Enertro's of course, did you hit your head or something?" The guard responded curiously.

Morph tilted his wrist and fired a webbing that while not completely imflammable, was flame resistant as he pulled with the goal of sending Prism flying off the cliff.

Prism jumped back to avoid the webbing. It was flame resistant, so he started to increase the fire. "Your in a bad position aren't you? By the way, where's the rest of the NJLU? Did they leave you like my friends left me?"

"Not really, and I have no idea nor do I really care." He replied as he let go and preformed a backflip before catching on the rock face a little further down. Being able to alter his body meant handholds were much easier to find. Pulling a hand back, he slammed it into the rock face. He was figuring that with Prism on the edge and leaning over, the vibrations from a full strength punch would send him flying.

Prism was surprised. He was near the edge of the cliff. Another punch might send him over. He would have to try to finish Morph quickly, and not let his guard down.

When Haze had left Morph had been fighting pretty well. Haze had to check back in on the unconscious Teen Titans.

Morph noticed that Prism was tottering and smashed the cliff face again, figuring that this time would be more successful.

Prism felt the tremor. Morph must have hit the mesa again. Prism fell. He hit the ground hard, but he didn't die. He might have broken something, but he could move alright, but slowly. He lifted his hands, and let loose a blast of energy at Morph. It was a massive one. He awaited eagerly to see the results.

While the fringe of the bolt hit Morph and consequently stunned him, the majority of it vapourised a section of cliff face. The combination of loss of handhold and stun caused Morph to fall.

Morph fell in an almost cartoonish fashion to the ground below followed by a mini-rockslide that was the result of Prism's wild shot. As the ground rumbled, cracks began appearing in the top and side of the mesa.

Walking along with Omino he started to ask. "Where are we going master since we no longer are in the fight?"

Prism looked to see if Morph was dead. He couldn't tell, but the mesa was almost destryoed, and a rockslide was happening. He got up, in pain but able to walk. He grabbed the communicator, which had barely survived the fight, and used it. "Enertro, where are you? Why did you leave me? You gave me no help at all. Is this the way you treat your generals? I almost died!"

Omino looked at him and said, "Just wait and see." Suddenly Omino lept up into the air and flew away. He shouted back, "Follow me."

Arthur saw Omino go into the air. He had two choices. Copy the move that Bart did or use his light beams. Arthur began using his feet to create air bubbles. Then he shot up into the sky. He started to follow Lew, but it he was going all over the place.

"General Prism...this is General Surge," smiled Surge, from his hotel window. He had been sniping the other heros this whole time, giving them quite a hail of bullets...His confidence and ego were growing back. Legion calmly and patiently guarded the door in case someone were to come through.

"As for Enertro...I believe he turned off his communicator, he has not answered to me either..." Surge replied, reloading his sniper.

Enertro actually kept his communicator on, but growing annoyed with it was about to shut it off. "My love, should I shut it off? There may be enough helicopters here for us to have our own, and the others to use another," he replied smiling at the helicopters parked on their pads.

"Surge, where are you? I'm down here fighting for my life, and you clowns leave without me? I want answers now! Where are you? Where is Enertro, and how can I get to where you are?"

"Us 'clowns' are the commanding officers, Prism!" growled Surge. "And I was keeping the other heros off your backs, thank you. As for where I am, Legion and I are still in the town, sniping the others. I do not know where Diaphanous nor Enertro have disappeered to..." Surge fought the urge comment further on this. "I do know where you have gone, Prism, but just backtrack and when I see you, I will let you know you're close."

"Enertro, perhaps you should respond and put command temporarily in Surge's hands. Be sure to tell Surge that I insisted that he be put in charge for now. I want Surge to know I trust him, and that I am not trying to take his place. We can do whatever you want." Diaphanous smiled. "If you want to leave now, that is fine with me." she informed him, her eyes lit up with happiness.

"Yes, tell General Surge that I insist that he be in command until further notice. Is that OK with you?" Diaphanous looked at Enertro waiting for his decision. "I think he is capable, and I think it will be a nice gesture from me to Surge. Perhaps he will hate me just a little less."

"General Surge," Enertros voice cackled through the communicator. "This is Master Enertro. By Diaphanous' orders, you are to take temporary command over the situation. When you three are done, get into a helicopter...I'll meet you guys again, once you have had your fun. Enertro, over and out."

Enertro smiled as he shut down the communicator. He put his arm around Diaphanous and walked to the helicopter nearby...

"Hey Omino" Arthur walked over to Omino. "Do you know who we should have brought with us? Surge. It has the same power as us. Maybe you could have taught him and taught him patience like you will to me."

"Thank you Enertro." Diaphanous kissed him and smiled.

"So, where are we off to... somewhere with sandy beaches and palm trees, I hope! I want to be in paradise with my love, my soul mate." Diaphanous kissed Enertro passionately and walked with him to the helicopter.

"Enertro, I do not know that it is possible to be any happier than I am now. All because of you." Diaphanous squeezed him as they walked. "I am still in awe, so I know I am being repetitive, but I love you so very much!" She wanted to yell it to the world.

Haze called over the Watchtower communicator to Morph. He received no reply. Haze even searched for his aura. What he found shocked him. He is dead. Haze shook his head and said, "No he can't be." Haze teleported down to his house to be alone.

Nightwing sat at his computer reading something.

And God created three divine spirits to rule over man and creation after the mourning star. Holy, Law, and Fortune were the three angels created to protect the innocent from the Devil's wrath. Holy is the slayer and hunter of god's enemies. Law guarantees stability among mankind and the angels themselves. Fortune grants miracles and hope to mankind. It is Holy's ultimate fate to fall into darkness after slaying a great evil. Law and Fortune will battle against Holy in a time known as the Advent Apocalypse. Events taking place in this time period are pre cursors to judgment day and the grand arbitration.

Holy, Law, and Fortune will have a great battle. Holy will defeat both, but fall to them in the third battle. Law and Fortune will then raise their blades to the sky and the Celestial Light from Heaven will come down. Holy will repent and the Celestial Light will enter him giving him a new wing of white. The Light would then return to Heaven. Holy now having a wing of black and a wing of white will join the other two angels and cast all of the darkness out of his body.

The darkness will take a new form and come back stronger than before.

And then after three great events, an assembly of heroes will ascend above all others and battle alongside the three angels for Earth’s fate. Exactly 40 innocent beings will be taken before the Light will appear again and the three angels of Law, Holy and Fortune will return to Heaven. The Strong Light then will go into the body of the strongest and help the Chosen One defeat the most evil. Light and the One will fight against Evil for the fate of the Earth. The three angels will appear and guide the Chosen one. Light and Darkness, who have bested each other twice before, will fight for the final time. The fight will end and the scale will once again be reset and the Celestial Light will return to Heaven. The One will speak the word and disappear forever. Law, Fortune and Holy will watch over the Earth for the rest of time.


As Nightwing came to the end he said, "Is this is what is going to happen to us?" Nightwing sat there and pondered the thought until the morning. Nightwing finally came to a realization. "The Apocalypse is coming"

IC- Prism trashed the communicator in anger. They had betrayed him. He had done so much for them. He save Enertro's life. He had put up with Surge's complaints. And he stood up to Alucard, a super powerful vampire lord, to save Reave when he appeared to be a part of their plans. He didn't hate Reave, or Dia, but he would get revenge. Prism walked off into the night, wondering how to do it.

OOC- Hey Woosh, is it okay if I make a supervillian for the next chapter with sunordinates, like how blastit did? I'll still use Prism as well.

I initially thought that it would be easy to slip into an RP thread which was already up and running, but you guys had already set a great story in motion. So much so that I found it kind of tricky to get in.

What do you guys think about them going good and Surge and Legion staying bad? The stronger evil will probably somehow draft Prism and Morph underneath its wing. I am still trying to decide on how I want to approach the RP with this character. I will be sending around a telegram when I start the next OOC thread. Everyone will be required to sign their characters up again. I am hoping that we will get some new participants. I might start it up earlier if I have time. As for the Chosen One, who knows who it will be. There are a lot of qualified characters who can become the Chosen One.

I have exams next week, but after that I done school. On June 17, I think, I start an intern program, and this will continue until August. So I'll probably only get to post in the morning and the evening. As for Prism, I have plans for him. Like I said, a new villian is coming, and Prism will meet up with him.

You are really stuck on Bellis becoming the chosen one. You know what would be funny if somehow he got superhuman powers and was chosen. That would be a serious twist right there.

When I say Forever I mean they will never appear in the NJLU threads ever again. Characters similar may result from this character being lost however.

Mind you Sacer (human), Athena, and Fenrir are on the same island as them so I would imagine they would at least be more inclined towards good.

I realize this clearly, but I want Prism to be dillusional and mad, even if it was his fault to not realize everyone left. He's crazy now, in a smart kind of way. That could make an interesting point in the stroy, where Prism is so hell bent on revenge, and then he meets up with Dia, who he never hated. Torn between two sides. Woo, sounds cool!

Yeah, I see what you mean. More things to put into the plans I have for Prism. This guy's gonna have a rough time. I have three more band based characters that I thought of using, and in the next RP, one will be the supervillian Prism meets, and the other two will be his subordinates. Sorta like Enertro, Surge, and Legion.

Well my next character is going to be pretty evil, one of Reave's old friends. He's a tough bastard too, should be interesting. :)

Dia and Prism as friends, huh? That is going to create another situation like when Dia was begging Sacer to forgive her and not blow up the world. It is going to be a lot of pleading and attempts at persuading.

@Canadstein: Aren't they all? You know that the NJLU threads will always have subplots and individual superheroes telling out there stories. In the next RP I plan to tell everyone a lot more about my characters. My main characters will be Omino and Haze. I am thinking about making a new character.

Enertro may not be all that affected by Nuclear Explosions. In a bad way, atleast.
