Reave smiled, their fates were perhaps intertwined. "There is someone who I must face as well and I have no intention of coming back, but before I go I want to stay here as long possible."

There was a short pause.

"Stay away from London Quickspeed..." Reave finished thumbing the hilt of his wakiszashi (sp?).

"Why London? Also what will happen to Athena when you leave? I will be willing to protect her if I come back alive." QS replied.

LOL good catch...I must've been real tired. Fixed it

Surge was growing angry. "You are not answering my question ambassador," he said between clenched teeth. "How does the British government know of Alucard and how did they find us?" He unknowningly began flipping a small knife in his hand.

The Legion multiples were standing around Quickspeed. "We thank you very much. Now what are the defenses on the station? Are there any passwords we should know about? And How would you access the main computer, if there is one?"

"Alucard will be there, he is waiting for me. I'm afraid that if I wait too long he'll come back and take what little I have left." Reave's demon arm flexed as he looked out a window.

"Athena will continue living as a demon hunter for the church. One day she'll die like everyone and go to heaven. Unfortunately I have no expectations of a simliar fate." There was a sense of sadness in his voice before continuing. "Make sure she doesn't do anything stupid while I'm gone." reave laughed hoping to lift this somber burden.

The ambassador began to panic. "Look Alucard has been doing dirty deeds for our government for years. Ah shit I just opened a new can of worms. Anyway you don't think we tracked your force's movements out of Brazil. I don't know anything else, you should go ask the arm freak!"

"I don't really know any the defenses, but here is the main thing we communicate with each other. Maybe you can try to hack into the system. I did that to get where the ship was located." QS replied.

"I will. I will protect Athena for the rest of life. So this Alucard your going to fight him. I think I might be going against like someone similar, but different person." QS replied.

"Thank you. Perhaps one day I'll be able to return the favor for you. No matter how far or fast we run death is always right at our heels." Reave finished slowly walking out towards the deck of the ship.

The best we can do is smile at him.

You're not actually going to do what I think you're doing...

QS got up and walked off toward Reave. Then looked toward the ocean. "Well bye Reave, but before I leave I want to say good bye to Athena. So can you show me where she is located?"

"Sure thing."

Reave navigated the labyrinth of corridors and came to their room.

"She's in here, probably still asleep. Don't tell her what I'm doing because she'll only get in the way."

Reave extended his hand to Quickspeed.

"Ok. Stay here I will go in alone." QS walked into the room and found Athena. He took off his mask and located at her. Then he started to whispher.

"I will protect you for the rest of my life. No one will ever hurt you again. Bye Athena."

Walking up he kissed Athena on her cheek then walked out. QS faced Reave.

"Well bye Reave. I hope to one day to see you again. I hope you complete your mission."

He stuck out his hand waiting for Reave to shake it.

Reave firmly shook Quickspeed's hand.

"Maybe one day we'll see each other again. Farewell, I'll be watching everyone from a distance away." Reave finished holding back tears in his eyes.

The half-demon walked into a broom closet emptying everything into the hallway. Even the shelves until it was a perect rectangle.

Yeah this will do just fine.

Reave please reconsider.

I don't wanna run anymore.

The determined Reave slit his wrist spilling blood onto the floor.

I hope I get this right. He though as he began drawing another series of runes and pentagrams.

Quickspeed made his way to the deck of the ship. Looking out into the ocean he was going to go Speed Force. He had done it once before, but got scared of a figure he saw in there and never went back. Looking at the water he started to run and jumped off the ship and into the water.

The closet lit a bright red and then dulled again. Reave had left the ship.

Athena awoke with a note on the bed next to her.

Dear Athena: By the time you're reading this I'll be in London. You realize what I'm doing and why it needs to be done. Quickspeed has promised to look after you so be nice to him. I want you to look after everyone on the ship because I owe them for bringing you back to me. If I can do this right then I can forgive myself. I am not afraid of Hell or Alucard; only of losing you and my friends. Unfortunately I feel this is the last time we'll ever hear of each other. Heaven has no vacancies for a twisted half demon and hell hath no room for a demon hunter. You always were my light and my saving grace.

She crumpled the note with tears in her eyes.

Nightwing grabbed the binoculars from Morph. He looked into the ship. "It looks like Quickspeed is on the move. I wonder if he still has his communicator?" Raven paged him. "Come in Quickspeed. Come in." They waited for a reply.

The men inside of the Hall of Justice was scrambling around trying to find someone to help. Everyone was busy. The chief in charge ran to the list. Everyone was busy except for The "Dragon" Girl. She had never been in a fight. The chief said aloud ,"We need help." He paged her. "Come in Dragon Girl."

Reave had teleported to a location inside his own mansion, which once belonged to Alucard, now had been retaken by a sect from the church. Bodies were piled by the hundreds in the courtyard and in the main room.

"You fools, you knew you couldn't control that monster." Reave said to the dead crowd

The main foyer was massive and elegant, only hindered by blood spattered all over like an abstract 80's painting. Gore was nothing unknown to Reave. In fact, he loved it. The atmosphere of his final battle was perfect, just the place he wanted to die, exactly how. Proceeding up the steps Reave felt the urge to turn and run, he still could escape, he could still return to Enertro, Prism, and Diaphanous. No, if I stop here Alucard will come after them. The literal demons of my past have to be put down once and for all. Even if I have to burn in hell for them, I won't lose them. There was no light in the enitre mansion yet the blood glowed a neon red, runes and pentagrams were drawn throughout the entire length of the home. It was beautiful to Reave. What he was seeing was the theory of relativity in the world of the dark magiks. The sum of the universe in this little home drawn through tortured symbols and alchemey. The end of the hallway, the doorway to hell, his death, his ultimate fate. The summation of 1,200 years of suffering in this very moment.

"It's been fun." Reave laughed as he pushed open the large wooden doors entering a large circular room. Maybe 300 meters in radius stretching up to a dome 50 meters in the sky. All of which was painted in this sick ink of human blood. In the center hovered the real Alucard. Exactly the same as Reave had last seen him. Tall and skinny, long red coat with black bindings and straps. His big red hat dipped over his eyes covering the top half of these orange reflective glasses.

The doors closed behind Reave and neither him nor Alucard were ever seen again.

After a period of resting, Diaphanous nudged Enertro. "Enertro, something doesn't feel right... at all. I am concerned." She had a worried look on her face.

I will try to read... Reave, what are you doing?! "Enertro, Reave is leaving to his death, and QS is gone!"

Diaphanous' eyes welled up with tears and then a bit of anger at the fact that Reave didn't even bother to say goodbye to her.

"Well, what now?!" she asked Enertro.

Enertro was worn out. He had been sleeping for a short period when Diaphanous nudged him, nearly making him jump out of bed.

"Where is he going? Where has he gone?" he muttered, half asleep.

"I guess we pack for the meeting. A jet should be here soon...I must also find out if Athena is going to be on our side now."

"Reave went to face Alucard... I don't know where QS went."

"Enertro, I don't like this." She held him and began to cry. "Perhaps I am not up to being your soul mate." Diaphanous sobbed. "I just want to rest with you..."

Diaphanous rested her tear stained face on Enertro's chest. "I don't know if I can keep up this pace Enertro." She sobbed sadly.

The door back to earth was shut completely. Reave stood facing Alucard in fiery hell itself. Fenrir lay dead no more than 20 yards from the two.

Reave was exhausted and Alucard was also showing signs of fatigue.

"Looks like we'll be spending quite some time together old buddy." Reave said jokingly as billions of hellspawns appraoched in the distance.

Alucard's anger was actually materializing around him into shards of crimson flesh.

"Why would you do that Reave? WHY!?" Alucard's voice shattered the ground nearby.

"True good is not recieving a reward for doing so. It is the unbeneficial sacrfice of one's own means to benift another's. In this case I would trap myself in hell rather than it spill across the earth." Reave was still terrfiied at the finality of his choice.

Mazie came in and took a seat. She was bilwildered by all this.

"What can I do for you?"

"Do not worry, my love, Reave made his own decision. He has accomplished his goal of regaining Athena's love, now he wants to accomplish his last goal by killing his old master. I'm afraid there is little we can do other than hope he makes it alright..." he wiped off some of her tears and stroked her on the side of her face.

"You can keep up, I know you can. We are strong together. We were meant to be..." he lightly massaged her back as she sobbed on his chest.

"You are right Enertro. How could I ever imagine being without you. I do not know what I was thinking." Diaphanous felt so perfect and content in his arms. "We are meant to be together. If we weren't, it would be like half of ourselves would be missing." She looked at him lovingly. "Thank you... for everything."

What now Reave? You've stopped Alucard's plans you're the hero. What now though? You're stuck in hell and there are a billion souls furious at you. At least they're safe.

The ambassador sat in his chair breathing heavily. Is that all they wanted to know?

Athena slumped in a chair in the room crying her eyes out.

"Reave you fool!" she yelled into the air.

"I thank you for everything," he said as he kissed her lightly. He began to drift back into sleep...

"I believe that will be all for now, Ambassador. We will question you further another time..." said Surge, as he put out the fire on the Ambassadors coat. With a snap of his fingers, Legion picked up the ambassador and put him back in the cell, taking off the chains that bound him. "I will see you later," he added with a smile before walking out of the room.

The ambassador was burning with rage as the brute and the wicked man walked away. "Bastards, I'm glad I brought Alucard to this ship. I only wish that freak had killed these ones." He grunted under his breath secretly wishing no one hear him.

Reave, or Decimus more appropriately, face an enraged Alucard back by the entirety of hell. As all hope seemed to fade from the now full human, he was filled with a second wind. A light shot from the infinite sky surrounding the doomed human and blinding Alucard.

"What is that!?" Alucard shouted in confusion.

The human now landed in a different form, two large crystal like katanas held in both hands. Alucard went to strike but himself cut in 70 or so pieces unable to reform. Slowly the person walked away in defiance, a single slice actually cut through the dimension of hell itself back into the human world. Alucard could only watch helplessly as the only thing to take his fury on simply disapeared. Defenseless, Alucard was soon consmed by the very demons who also once feared him. The vampire lord was gone forever.

The Legion multiples stood staring at the communicator, not quite sure of what to do.

"Don't answer it...Surge or Enertro would know what to do..." said one of the Multiples to the other. The rest nodded in agreement.

Surge stood at Enertro's doorway. "I need Enertro or Diaphanous," he said quietly. The guards nodded and knocked lightly on the door.

Prism stood by Surge, bored. "So yeah, when are we facing the NJLU? Icould use a good fight, now that back in the business. Also, any idea what happened to Reave?"

"I believe we will be facing the NJLU soon. The meeting with the other villains will take place today or tomorrow, that's where we'll plan the attack."

"As for Reave...I haven't the foggiest idea..." he said cocking his eyebrow. "Last I saw of him, he went to his room with his girlfriend..."

Decimus reemerged from hell in his former manor. The blood on the walls no longer held any signifigance and in fact disgusted him. Walking into the foyer he felt nausious at the sight of the piled corpses. Human life held more value to him now each corpse took a ping at his heart.

"Was this even necessary?" He asked himself. So uptaken by his different and to some extent lesser senses he had almost forgotten his new apparel and weaponry. Suddenly a blue'ish wolf walked in through the large entry doors and paced around Decimus' leg, nudging his head against him. "I think I'll call you Fenrir." He said with the wolf looking on with approving eyes. Decimus thought back to his oldest friend's death only a few moments ago. Fenrir took the brunt of Alucard's attack to save him.

Maybe this is your second chance too. Seeing as how I'm no longer Reave and not quite Decimus, I think a new name would be appropriate. Sacer, latin for holy, will do just nicely.

"Come on Fenrir." Sacer said ebulliently trotting from the blood soaked manor.

Mazie came in and took a seat. She was bilwildered by all this.

"What can I do for you?"


The chief looked at the girl with a befuddled look. This girl couldn't be serious. He yelled at her ,"I know you hear the loud banging of random cars, hitting the barrier! We are being attacked by Contra. Get out there and do something. You're a superhero, right?" The chief shook his head. He sent out a distress call asking anyone who was willing to help.

Above Atlantic Ocean.

Lew sat on a personal plane provided by Egypt. It was on a direct flight to Los Angelos. On his lap sat his indestructible diamond blade. Lew was the definition of all-moving. He had control over just about anything. He looked over at his second-in-command. It was a sorceress who's name was Circe. She was pretty powerful. Lew thought to himself ,The sooner this is over the sooner I can be with my family. They still had about ten hours of flight left. Lew could get them there faster by using telekinesis but thought better of it. Let the pilot do his job. I will be using my powers enough in the near-future. I can taste the flavor of future-battles. Killing is in my future. The jet sped towards Los Angelos.

We can't sit in London for long, Enertro is going to make his move against the NJLU any day now.

Sacer couldn't help but refer to himself as we for he had spent so long sharing a mind with that Demon. The wolf companion looked at him and spoke telepathically.

You're right Reav- err Sacer, we should head to the Hall of Jusitce and warn them immediately.

Alright then, we only have to travel across an ocean and we're there...dammit.

Grab my fur tightly Sacer, I think this trick will be quite useful.

The armored warrior grabbed the wolf's fur and suddenly his companion turned into a green swarm of energy that pulled Sacer into the sky and in the direction of America. The land moved below them so fast and in a matter of minutes they were already over the ocean.

I hope I'm not to late.

OOC: You meant Hall of Justice, right?

"No idea, if he is locked up, it's doutful." Morph replied, "And if they have confiscated his comm, you might have just tipped them off."

QS started to run and he knew what he had to do. Running and running was the only thing he was going to do now. Then he started to go fast as light then entered the Speed Force. Looking around QS noticed the bright light. When he died he was suppose to become one with this.

Fenrir guided Sacer in front of a woman bombarding the Hall of Justice. The new hero landed with a hard thud as the street cratered below him. The spirit wolf reformed snarling at the villian.

"Good day to you, my name is Sacer and I believe we are enemies." His words were backed by two blades drawn ready for anything and a sense of vindication.

Time to test these new powers. Sacer thought smiling to himself.

Diaphanous got almost an electric shock telepathically.

"Enertro!” She screamed, wide eyed. "I know where Reave is!" She was silent for a while, as she was stunned.

"He... he... killed Alucard, has come back as a human with superpowers, changed his name to Sacer, and has aligned himself with the NJLU!"

Diaphanous tried to read him previously, and could not due to his prior location, but now that he was back, she could read his mind. "He has a wolf... I think it's the reincarnation of Fenrir."

Her appearance was forlorn. "Enertro, our friend, Reave, who we helped and who helped us, is now our enemy." Diaphanous looked up at Enertro with that stunned look on her face. "I have tracked him to the Hall of Justice. I believe he is attacking the one called Contra and possibly someone else."

"Enertro, I've never fought someone who was really a... friend before." She sighed. This seems nearly impossible. How could I hurt him?

"Do you think someone should tell Athena? I think she has a right to know, even if she joins him." She knew Enertro would think this absurd.

"Look at the analogy. What if it was you and I? I would desperately need to know you were OK and where you were, what you were doing. I would need to be with you, my love." Diaphanous looked at him lovingly. "This is indeed a psychological wrench thrown in the plans... for me anyway. However, I will abide by whatever your decision is, my soul mate. I don't see how Sacer/Reave can see the NJLU as the good guys after he personally witnessed QS slaughter innocent security personnel." She shook her head.

"We are the good guys! Actually, the labels 'villains and good guys; they are merely words, their meanings blurred in a grey area. I see no difference other than a struggle for power."

Diaphanous held Enertro close. "What next my love? Sacer is going to L.A."

Enertro woke up again as he heard Diaphanous call his name. "Reave is...alive?" Enertro smiled until he heard that Reave joined the NJLU. "Blast! Now we're going to end up having to kill Reave too?"

He thought about Athena, unsure of what to do. Finally, coming to a decision, Enertro sighed, "Yes...I guess we should tell Athena about this..."

Enertro put his arms around Diaphanous. "Next, we get ready to travel to Los Angelus. That is where our meeting will take place, the meeting that will determine how we destroy the NJLU..."

Enertro heard a knock on the door. "Who is it?"

"Surge requests yours or Diaphanous's aid," was the reply.

Enertro looked at Diaphanous. "Are we ready to leave?" he asked putting his forhead against hers and looking lovingly into her eyes.

"I'm ready Enertro." She told him after taking a deep breath.

"One question... May I be the one to tell Athena everything? I feel maybe I can explain it more accurately as I read his mind." Diaphanous shook her head.

"I hate complications." She was saddened by Sacer/Reave's decision.

"Any time you're ready, I'm ready, my love." Diaphanous gave a wan smile to Enertro.

If I could ever redeem myself I have to start by taking a stance against those would use the people whom cannot defend themselves. I will be for the people. Over a hundred thousand human deaths are on my hands where else could I begin. Even if it means fighting the very people I once swore to protect. Sacer thought to himself as he stared down his new foe.

Athena sat in the bedroom still with tears fresh in her eyes.

Reave, as long as you can find peace in your actions. I don't know where you are but I believe you will do what is best, you always have and I never saw that.

The crumpled note on the floor blew into the hallway with a gust from the open window.

"You may tell Athena everything. Just...be careful," he gave her a small smile.

"Then let us get it over with," Enertro finished, adding a small kiss.

Enertro got up from his bed and took a very quick shower. He put on his red and black suit, some boots, and waited for Diaphanous to get changed.

When she was finished changing, he opened the door and greeted General Surge.

"General, what do you need?" ask Enertro as he finished buttoning up his collar.

"Actually, I would like to make use of...her powers," he said, pointing his chin in Diaphanous' direction. "I would like false memories or a memory wipe on the Ambassador so he knows nothing of what went on here. Can you handle that?"

"I'll be at the cell block door. Please come to it when you are ready. With that, Surge left the two and their guards down to the cell block.

"Yes, I can do that," she told Surge.

"Enertro, I believe I will take care of this first. I should be able to scramble the Ambassador a bit." She grinned.

"Would you like to come with me?" Diaphanous asked.

"Of course," Enertro replied, smling at Diaphanous. He took her hand and walked to the detention block with her.

"Glad to see you've come, Diaphanous," said Enertro on seeing the two approach. He opened the door and walked in. "Rise and Shine, Ambassador, we have a special treat for you..."

Surge turned back to Diaphanous and smiled wickedly, waiting for any signs.

Enertro put his arms around Diaphanous and kissed her gently. "We'll stay in the shadows so as not to distract you," he whispered. Enertro slowly broke away and walked quietly to a shadowy corner, along with Surge.

"Hello Ambassador," Diaphanous smiled cheerfully. "From what I've heard, I gather you're going home soon."

The Ambassador seemed relieved.

Diaphanous made small chit chat with him about how he was treated, and such, while at the same time she was wiping his mind. She found the section of the brain that was used for short term memory. As she was speaking, she erased the miniscule areas relating to his experiences on the ship. As a matter of fact, she completely deleted everything, including Alucard and Athena as well. She then put him into a short sleep.

"He won't remember us when he wakes up." She informed the others. "It is impossible as I have destroyed that part of his brain." Diaphanous explained.

"We should get him out of this cell and up top, and one of you can come up with some story as to how he ended up here with no memory... some experience with a concussion. Perhaps put him in the infirmary. Let me know when to wake him, and one of you can explain what 'happened' to him, or how we 'found' him unconscious." Diaphanous smiled.

"Quite handy..." Surge muttered as he walked around the now sleeping ambassador, prodding him with his boot. He called for Legion on a communicator to bring the ambassador to the infirmary.

Enertro smiled and walked back to Diaphanous, putting his arms around her again. "Do you get tired when you do that?" he asked, rubbing her back. "I'm glad you're with us Diaphanous. Now if you're not tired, we could go talk to Athena. If you don't feel up to it, we can start packing, as I'm not quite so sure as to when the U.S jet will come to pick us up. Unless you have something else in mind, that is."

Surge watched the couple and shook his head. Love...despicable... he thought to himself. He hoped Legion would arrive soon.

Athena sat on the edge of the bed staring out the window to the world she could never have. Always able to sit in the distance and watch events unfold beyond her control. The sunlight hurt her eyes but she was still able to make out various distinctions in the waves, even a dolphin or two.

Once more she was overwhelmed with frustration at the fact she would never see Reave again. Even if there was an afterlife, the two would forever remain apart.

Maybe if I could just find a way to get into hell...

The alarms inside of the Watchtower went off. The Haze ran over to it. He turned off the alarm and went to the monitor. On the monitor there was a view of the front of the Hall of Justice. Outside of the hall stood three people. There was the young superheroine, The "Dragon" Girl. One of the the NJLU's archenemies, Contra and a new guy. "Who is this?" Haze focused his mind on the man. What resulted from the telepathic read surprised him. He thought himself That is Decimus. Didn't fight him in Brazil. He wishes to help the "Dragon" Girl. He seeks to destroy all evil. He wants to join the NJLU. Haze smiled. "I knew I had detected a patch of goodness in him. He has defeated his inner evil." From the computer screen Haze saw a blue wolf. He read the wolf's mind to find out who he was. Fenrir. Glad he is on our side. Haze looked around. "I think I will be joining you." He sent a message to the chief. "I am on my way." Haze needed someone else to cover for him. Static Shock should be available. He contacted him telepathically. Static come to the Watchtower.

Nightwing looked into the ship. All he saw was Quickspeed running. Every second his speed increased. Nightwing thought to himself ,What the hell is he doing? Then it finally dawned on him. "He is trying to go into the Speed Force! NO!! He doesn't know what he is doing!" Before any of the heroes could react it was to late. Quickspeed had made his way into the Speed Force.

Once in the Speed Force QS looked around. It was amazing, but he had something to do. When running around he wondered how large this place was. Moving around he yelled out one thing. "Barry Allen?"

OOC: I am going to set the setting the Speed Force real quick.

When Quickspeed entered the the Speed Force he entered a dimension of eternal light. There was nothing slow about it. As he wandered through looking for Barry he was actually moving millions of miles faster than light.

Barry heard the call of Quickspeed. He was at this moment in the form of light. He slowed down a little bit ,so that he could take solid form. The form of the Silver Age Flash quickly came in front of the Quickspeed. Barry smiled and said ,"How may I help you Quickspeed?"

"Everyone in the world thinks your dead Barry how come you don't come back to the real world?" QS was amazed to see the second Flash. He had only heard about him from Wally or the Musuem in Keystone.

"But there is also another reason I came here. It is about something you have faced before."

Barry looked down at Quickspeed and said ,"Well I am not dead mentally or emotionally but I am dead physically. I cannot come back to the real world because do not have a body. This body you see before you is just me using the Speed Force to bend lightbeams into my body's shape and form." To make the situation more comfortable, Barry made two chairs of light and sat down in one of them. "So tell me, what is your true problem?"

"The Black Flash." QS muttered slowly and almost silently. It brought back the memories of the pain and death. Also of Wally and Oliver. Then he sat down in the chair. It was amazing that Barry existed in this world, but a curse that he was stuck in this world forever.

"..and you've brought your pet. How quaint."

Stiffening, the power-sprung breeze crept up once more, playing about the trio gently as she gathered strength.

"Sadly, you're just not who I'm looking for."

"The Black Flash." QS muttered slowly and almost silently. It brought back the memories of the pain and death. Also of Wally and Oliver. Then he sat down in the chair. It was amazing that Barry existed in this world, but a curse that he was stuck in this world forever.

Barry sighed. "The Black Flash, huh? Yes he is a trouble maker. He only comes when you are nearly dead or in extreme distress. You can control him. He is not as powerful as you believe. What about Wally and Oliver is bothering you?"

Contra glanced back over her shoulder, casually assessing the newcomer.

"Well, well.. you're someone I don't recognize..."

With a sigh of irritation, she barked a few words about calling back later, then snapped the cellphone shut. Languidly, she turned to face her surprize visitors, smirking with a sidelong glance to the wolf.

"..and you've brought your pet. How quaint."

Stiffening, the power-sprung breeze crept up once more, playing about the trio gently as she gathered strength.

"Sadly, you're just not who I'm looking for."

The Haze had just teleported down to the Hall of Justice when Contra made her last statement. He now hovered above the invisble shield. Haze slowly began his descent. He smiled at her and sarcastically said ,"Who are you looking for then." He unhooked his power staff.

"In my mind it they were both killed by the Black Flash. I don't even know if I want to use my powers anymore. Barry I would rather be here then you so you could be with Fiona. There is no reason to live Barry. The Black Flash will always be after." Grabbing his mask he threw it, what it would be normally, the ground.

She had been preparing to move when Haze made a sudden and unexpected appearance. She grinned derisively despite herself, watching him, but keeping tabs on the new hero and his puppy with her peripheral vision.

"Speak of the devil."

She stepped back with one foot, bracing herself with unclear intentions.

"If it's a fight you want, I'm more than happy to oblige, but believe it or not, that's actually not why I'm here."

Barry looked at Quickspeed and said, "I think you have gotten me crossed with the original Flash's wife. My wife is Iris. I do miss her ,but she understands why I am here. She has no regrets and neither do I. You must stay on Earth and fight the good fight." Barry thought to himself How does he know about the Black Flash and Wally? Then it came to him. "I forgot that you were there when Wally was defeated after his battle with the NJLU. The Black Flash came and nearly destroyed everyone. He didn't kill Wally. He just brought him here to the Speed Force."

Haze looked down at Contra and said ,"So why are you here, then?" Haze landed in between Sacer and the "Dragon" Girl. He nodded to both of them.

"Oh Fiona was going to be your wife after Iris died. You were going to get married to her but Zoom tried to kill her and you killed him. After you were aquitted you met with Iris again. So where is Wally then?" QS remembered back to his younger days. Wally as the Flash was his hero was his idol. One day he wanted to become exactly like him. Well it did in a way.

Sacer despised this enemy, she was completely careless of human life. As if it had no worth only a purpose to serve and then end. She's nothing more than a puppet, just like he was.

"I would prefer a peaceful resolution, but if you want to fight your way out of this then go ahead and try." The tone in his voice was extremely confident.

Fenrir faded into a green energy surrounding Sacer completely.

"Well then care to explain why you're here, or would you just prefer a fight?" He asked.

Her gaze flickered over her three adversaries. Her grin hardened slightly, biding her patience as she refocused on Haze.

"I have something you might like to know. You're going to have a lot of trouble and soon. Now are you going to come down here and talk to me or not?"

In the back of her mind, the irony of the situation was becoming amusing.

"Well I would most certianlly like to know why I'm here."

(OOC: Guys I'm going to be out of town for about 4-5 days, so that's why i won't be posting. See you when I get back)

Diaphanous put her arms around Enertro. "No, I'm not tired, however, I think I would rather get things together prior to speaking with Athena." She sighed. "Perhaps someone could let her know that I will be coming down to speak with her about something extremely important. That way at least, she will be expecting something... information."

She kissed Enertro. "Is that OK with you, my love?"

"Of course, Diaphanous," replied Enertro. He looked at Surge and nodded.

Surge nodded in return and walked to Athena's room. He knocked, waiting to hear from her. He didn't want to barge in, in case she was...not in a mood for company.

"Do you wish to pack then, my dear? Or do you have other plans?" asked Enertro, carefully massaging her back, his hands slowly slipping down her waist.

Prism ran into Enertro and Dia. "Hey guys, whats going on? Get any info from the ambassador? Kow where Reave is? Find anything worthwhile?" Prism was rapidly growing bored, and wanted some action soon.

Athena turned her eyes from the window and answered the knock "Come in." She invited. She needed company, the ideas running through her head were less than constructive.

"Greetings, Ms...Athena," said Surge as he walked in the door. "I am just here to let you know that Diaphanous would like to talk to you at a later time. She says it is important," replied Surge, watching Athena with curiousity, unsure if she posed a threat to anyone. He knew he was relatively safe, with his cross tucked under his shirt. "Also, I would like to let you know that you are welcome to come with us on our...battle against the NJLU. We could use all the help we can get."

"Finally, if you would like any refreshments or if you are hungry, the dining room is always open."

Enertro smiled as Prism came in, his arms still wrapped around his love. "Ah, General Prism, I do have something you can do. I would like you to begin packing. As for the ambassador, I don't believe we have gotten anything too useful from him," Enertro took a slight glance at the sleeping ambassador. "I am not quite sure what Reave is doing exactly...but we may have to face him ourselves. It is believed he works for the NJLU."

Prism was quite thrilled to hear he would be a general. Things were looking up. "I've got nothing to pack. I carry the few things I have with me I carry." Prism was ready for action. Only one thing bothered him. Reave. Prism liked hm alot, and fighting him would be hard. But he would have no choice.

Athena seemed very distant and cold. Her eyes seemed to search the room lazily for something that wasn't there.

"No doubt it is concerning Reave and his actions. As I am prepared to explain to my full knowlege. The NJLU is of no concern to me, however, it was Reave's last wish that I stay and help you to the end. I'm sorry I'm not very hungry, I just ate." Her words felt hollow as she spoke them they held no meaning.

"I heard the rumors that Reave is still alive and siding with the NJLU, but I refuse to believe that. I know better than anyone where he is has no escape." She finished without shedding a single tear, but inside she was mroe miserable and depressed than ever.

The Haze looked over at the "Dragon" Girl and said ,"You obviously answered yes to a teleportation call. Then the chief sent you out here to battle Contra." He looked the young girl up and down. "Probably wasn't such a good idea." Haze focused his attention on Contra. "Trouble is coming our way, huh, Contra? Let's get to the point why are you here? You are not talking fast enough. The Haze began gathering telekinetic energy around his body.

He shook his head. "The last Flash, Wally, was a lot faster than the other Flashes. He could move at least 100 times faster than light. I saw him do it when we had to battle him last year. He can run so fast because he has more than one power source for speed and agility."

The rod now changed to the mode where it could be any weapon. A second later Haze held a sturdy longsword in his hand. Haze then created a telekinetic barrier that he placed in front of Sacer and the "Dragon" Girl. He looked up at Contra and said "So how is this going to play out? Am I going to have to kick your ass again?"

Surge felt uncomfortable in the silence that followed. He cleared his throat and felt he had something else to say, but he did not. "I hope that you will remain on our side and fulfull Reave's wishes...as he did himself."

Surge looked around the room a little longer and cleared his throat again. He bowed his head slightly and walked outside. There had to be something else he can do on this ship...

"I've never really cared where someone's abilities came from, just what they were, and if necessary how to neutralize them." Morph replied, "And I think I'll pop in and see what they're doing in there."

How has life been?"

QS was amazed to see Wally. He had only met him acouple of times before he died. "Life's been fine execpt a person named Enertro is trying to get rid of the NJLU along with most of the government of the world. Oh I forget to tell you Barry I quit the NJLU. I decide I wasn't meant to be part of a team. Since there is nobody like me, beside your grandson, Bart Allen III, Barry."

Diaphanous listened to Prism as well as read his mind.

"Whoa whoa! Slow down Prism!" She grinned and chuckled at the man talking non-stop.

After Enertro spoke with Prism, Diaphanous added, "I know how you feel about Reave." She looked at Prism sadly. "He became a friend to me as well. He is now known as Sacer, and it is true, has joined the NJLU."

Diaphanous sighed... "We must be ready Prism. We may have a hard time imagining ourselves fighting him; however, he is hell-bent on destroying us. Even his 'former' friends." Her voice wavered. "Life can really suck, and I can identify with your feelings completely."

Diaphanous then grinned at Prism before he left and said, "Congratulations General!"

"Enertro, you still have not given me a military title you know." Diaphanous pouted. "Do I get a title, or am I just 'Enertro's woman'? You told me you would give me a title, yet you have not." She looked at him questioningly, waiting for a reply.

"By the way, I believe I will go speak to Athena, and then meet you in your quarters to pack. I do not have much to pack. All I came here with is the clothes on my back, if you recall. Thankfully, this leather is something special, and does not get odorous or sweaty. This is rather why I wanted to go shopping. This is all I have to wear." Diaphanous was frustrated that she had nothing else. Talk about not being able to be incognito. "I won't even be able to walk down the streets of L.A. without people staring.

Anyway, I will go speak with Athena now. I will meet you in our quarters shortly. I assume you would like me to let Athena go if she wants?" She kissed Enertro lightly.

"When I get back to your quarters, will you let me know what rank you've chosen for me?" Diaphanous kissed him passionately and grinned. "Now that is not to sway you in any way." She pressed up to him, tightened her arms around him and kissed him passionately again, and kissed his neck, moving up to his ear. She nibbled Enertro's ear, then whispered in his ear with hot breath, "None of this is to persuade you to give me a high rank either."

Diaphanous then looked seductively in his eyes. She chuckled and took a step back. "Seriously, I just do NOT want to be under General Surge! I am dead serious. If you rank me below him, I will not treat him as my superior. Besides, you made Prism a General and he just joined as well. I would hope I would not be ranked lower than the other new people." Diaphanous would have been very insulted should that happen.

"Perhaps when I get back to the room, and I have so little to pack, we may have a little extra time prior to leaving?" Diaphanous looked at him with a sly smile.

She kissed him on the forehead. "I suppose I will go speak with Athena now. This isn't going to be fun." She furrowed her brow.

"When I get back, I hope I'll have a rank!" Diaphanous grinned and set off to see Athena.

Diaphanous walked down the hall towards Athena's room and prepared herself for all reactions. Initially she despised the bitch, but now, she pitied her. Diaphanous still had to come to terms with Sacer.

She got to Athena's room and knocked on the door. "Athena, it's Diaphanous. I must speak with you." She called from outside the room.

"Come in." She said, her voice had a dull ring to it.

At first Athena hated Reave beyond all means, but once she thought he had died she didn't know what to think. Of course as soon as she held him again, for the first time in 1,200 years, he had to run off and die to Alucard. Fate is so unkind.

"Alliance? Hah! If you mean Enertro's gang then we have nothing to worry about." Sacer didn't actually mean that but only meant to strike concern in his foe.

Sacer was confident in his new abilities so much so he believed he could take on anyone. After all he had just killed Alucard with ease.

Enertro just stood there smiling as he watched Diaphanous leave. He snapped out of his trance. She can certainly has a knack of persuasion...without even using her powers Enertro chuckled and longed to continue their heated passion he encountered a short while ago. Just then, Legion walked in to pick up the ambassador and set him in the Infirmary.

"Master Enertro...you seem quite...happy," Legion chuckled as he picked up the ambassador with one hand and placed him over his shoulder.

"It feels good to know you have found your soul mate..." Enertro said absent-mindedly. Suddenly, he snapped out of his trance. Legion, I suggest you start packing soon.

"Sir, yes sir!"

Enertro began walking to his room, thinking about the rank he could give Diaphanous. Considering she has saved me, it definitely has to be something high. But then again, Surge saved me many times before...But I love her as my soulmate, not a sibling. A position that'll keep her close to me, nearly all the time, not a position where she may have to leave me alone, such as a General would. And If I...no, When I propose to her to be my wife...that would put her in a higher position than anyone else here, except me. I will simply just have her titled Master, like me. Enertro smiled at the thought and walked into his room and began packing his suits and several different weapons and pieces of armor.

Surge had begun to pack as well. Well, at least pack what little he had. He had several battiers for his master. He also put his small black boxes in there, along with several guns he couldn't fit in his coat. He had the few suits he owned in there, along with the usual items one needs to clean themselves up. A shaver, deorderant, etc. Surge was packed and ready, with only one medium sized bag of luggage. He yawned and fell onto his bed, dozing off into a short nap.

"Hello Athena," Diaphanous said quietly as she shut the door. She sat down in a chair across from Athena.

Diaphanous took a deep breath. She looked at Athena in a serious manner. "Athena, I have some information for you. This may shock you, so please be prepared.

"I guess the best way to do this is to come straight out with it: Reave is not dead." Diaphanous gave Athena a moment to digest this prior to continuing.

"He was sucked down into hell and was saved by a strange white light that gave him the power to kill Alucard. Alucard is dead. Fenrir and Reave are not the same anymore."

This whole scene was upsetting to Diaphanous; therefore, she wanted to get it over as soon as possible.

"Reave is no longer called Reave. He is now on earth and has changed his name to Sacer. He has a wolf, which is the reincarnation of Fenrir, which he has named Fenrir. Both have great power."

Diaphanous took a deep breath. "He has joined the NJLU and intends on killing Enertro and his organization, his former friends he swore to protect."
Her voice was breaking up and tears were forming in her eyes.

"So this is good news for you Athena. Your love is alive. Unfortunately, Reave had made some friends here, myself being one, and I can't help but be hurt that he intends to kill me." Diaphanous was choking back tears.

"You are free to make your decision to stay with us or go to Sacer. I will leave and let you take in all of this information. I'm sure it is a shock."

Diaphanous stood and opened the door to leave. Prior to exiting, she looked back at Athena with a tear stained face. "Athena, if you go to him, please give him a message from me. Tell him I... I... am honored to have known him... and", Diaphanous was sobbing now, "He may see me as an enemy to be killed, but... I just... cannot look at him the same way. He was always my... friend."

Diaphanous turned and left the room, crying again. She made her way to Enertro's quarters. She opened the door, saw him, ran to him and buried her face in his chest, sobbing. "Enertro... I... I... You know... Reave was my friend... I just... Please hold me..."

She clenched her fists slowly, wishing just to end this and be done with it. But she maintained patience and waited to earn a modicum of trust, albiet uneasily given.

"There, there, my love," Enertro whispered. "It will all be fine. If he has any of his old mind still with him, he won't hurt us..." Enertro thought for a moment. He may not hurt us...but will we hurt him? He kissed Diaphanous on the forehead while he let that thought sit in his head for a bit.

"If it will make you feel any better, After some thought, I found the perfect rank for you," he looked at her eyes, while wiping away her tears.

"I decided that you would be best as the Head Janitor," he said, trying to keep a straight face, but failing miserably. He laughed and kissed Diaphanous again.

"I'm just joking with you, my love. I would like to know, if you would like to be a called Master, along with me? It is the highest 'rank' in my organization, because until now, I was the only one who was called that..." Enertro smiled as he looked lovingly into her eyes, stroking her cheek and wiping away her tears.

How many times do I have to lose you Reave? Why does fate hate us so much?

She could no longer keep it in. "Reave, as long as you're alive I have hope. I don't care if you and I are enemies as long as I can see you just one more time."

She thought back to when Reave and her both served under Alucard some 1,000 years ago. Reave was a hitman so to say, killing everyone Alucard wished whenever he wished. One mission Reave found out Alucard's plans and ran away. Alucard caught him and ripped him to pieces knowing he could jsut make another half demon, however, he couldn't and luckily Reave survived. Athena was furious when Alucard told her Reave betrayed them and swore to kill hunt him down, unfortunately she was just a pawn.

You're alive Reave, and no longer a demon? I know you'll do what's best, but I think I'll remain by Enertro because if you're after them, I know i'll see you again.

Athena fell into her bed and slipped into a deep sleep.

Contra's last statement sparked some curiosity inside of the Haze. Haze could tell that she was telling the truth just from her face. He decided to trust her. He would read her mind ,but decided not to do it because there was a possibility of a hex charm. He could block it ,but he wasn't sure if he could stop the one directed at the newly reformed, Decimus. He looked at her and said, "What exactly do you want to tell me?"

He looked over at Sacer. He knew a lot already. He read into his mind and detected that another mind had searched him. It was Diaphanous. He sent a brief message to Sacer. I am going to block Diaphanous from your mind. She will not be able to break through. Haze focused his mind and sent a telepathic block to Sacer. A small blue ball of energy came from the Haze's hand and shot through Sacer. Sacer was now fully blocked from Diaphanous' mind reading abilities.

My costume was stained with their blood. Never again will I kill a innocent person. I still have to tell the NJLU." QS broke down and started to cry.

Sacer accepted the mind block, Diaphanous already knew too much of his intentions. By now everyone on that ship knew what he was going to do. No matter Sacer was confident he could take them if the time ever called for it.

He looked over to Haze and thought: Thanks, she could end up causing some problems in the long run.

Diaphanous felt quite comforted in Enertro's arms. "Enertro, I also cannot read Sacer's mind any more. It is blocked. He will kill us. Someone must have read his mind, thought me a threat, and blocked it." This upset her even more.

"That damned NJLU... gunning down innocent people, tearing apart people who might possibly remain friends... you see, Sacer will try to kill every last one of us." She sighed heavily. "I don't know if Athena has decided to stay with us or not."

Then out of the blue, Enertro began smirking and told her that her new rank would be Head Janitor.

Diaphanous was pulled right out of her depressed state and laughed uproariously. "Enertro! Youuuuuuu!" She continued laughing and was grateful for the joke.

"Thank you, my love. I needed that." She looked lovingly into his eyes.

What he said next shocked her even more. Enertro told her she would be ranked 'Master'.

"But Enertro, you cannot rank me as high as you! Can't you make something up, like Second Master or something? I would never feel right trying to run this organization as your equal, however, I do want to be at your side as much as possible." Diaphanous frowned. "You know how Surge is going to react. He will try even harder to tear us apart and he will distrust me even more, as you have been with him for years. Just as long as you don't let anything come between us, I'm fine with something like 'Second Master', or Master II."

Diaphanous gazed into his eyes. "I am the luckiest woman in the universe, Enertro." She felt so loved, and loved him so much, she still had difficulty believing this was all real. "Enertro, my soul mate... I still can't believe we found each other." She kissed him long and passionately. "I love you so much. It sounds so sappy, the way we go on... but, I can't help it... Words can't even describe my overwhelming love for you." She kissed him again.

Barry gave him a look of 'not now'. Barry stood up and walked over to the crying speedster. "You must tell the NJLU of what you have done. They may forgive. Even the mightiest heroes make mistakes." Barry looked over his shoulder at Wally. Wally looked down. He was still ashamed of all of the destruction he had caused. Wally looked up and nodded in agreement.

"My love, I trust you to lead the organization in my place if I'm not around. I love you Diaphanous, so much so, that I want you close to me at all times. I believe you would be a great leader for them. But if you want a lower rank, I will make...err...a Vice-Master?" he was still chuckling a bit.

"The NJLU must have been really desperate to let a 15-year-old join. You should have been in the Teen Titans with Impulse. Perhaps since you are going to be starting a new beginning you will need a new name. I think Kid Flash is very appropriate seeing as it is not being used. When you leave you may experience so side effects of being here to long. Who knows? You may even gain a new power. Go find Impulse and join the Teen Titans. They will teach you the true meaning of team. For now on your actions probably won't be so rash."

Haze looked at him and said, "Go. I can handle her."

"Thank you Wally and Barry. I thank you for the help and the new name. I will bring honor to all the other Kid Flashes with this name. I think it's time Bart and I have that race. Well I hope to see you guys again." Picking up his mask and putting back on he waved good bye. Kid Flash started to slow down, but still faster then sound. Now he was on his way to the Titan Teens. Making his way to San Francisco he knocked on the door to the Titan Tower. Inside of himself something felt different.

Fenrir carried Sacer over the ground at speeds that shook the earth below. Trusting his instincts paid off as Fenrir released him Sacer slid across the deck of the ship and knocked the British helicopter right over the edge.

Have to work on that landing

Several guards stared at him with a look that bordered alarm. The righteous warrior unseathed his blades preparing for another battle.

"I have to set things right." He said to himself trying to justify his actions.

Legion had set the ambassador down on a cot in the infirmary, but heard a terrible scratching noise and a large splash. He walked above on the deck and saw someone who looked vaguely familiar.

"Reave?" he asked, not quite sure if he could believe his eyes or not.

Surge also woke up from his nap from the sounds above deck, along with several guards marching up to the top deck. He immediately got up and followed the group, each hand holding a pistol.

He saw Legion on one side and a stranger on the other, with two swords ready for battle.

"State your name!" he shouted, training his pistols on the figure, the guards doing the same.

In the light of the afternoon sun Sacer faced the two familiar faces.

"My name is Sacer and I've come to redeem myself in the eyes of humanity. For your knowlege Reave and Alucard are both dead." He yelled across the deck unseathing his blades.

Fenrir zipped in front of Sacer snarling viciously at Legion and Surge.

There were some engineers trying the repair the hole in the deck from his previous fight with Alucard. With a single gentle swipe of his blade a furious gust swept across the ship and threw them overboard. Another more focused slashed cut the antenna on top of the tower in pieces.

"Now bring Enertro to me. I would hate to be forced to fight you two." Sacer ordered before bending over to Fenrir and whispered. "Go make sure those sailors are ok, k?"

Sure thing Sacer. Fenrir responded before zipping across the ship into the water.

"Why would you need to see Enertro, Sacer? Do you work for the NJLU?" growled Surge. Several Legion multiples climbed on deck.

Haze watched as blasted off. Haze thought to himself Looks like we have a powerful new ally. Good luck, Sacer. Haze looked at Contra and said, "Looks to me like you want to fight since you are throwing cars and my shields. Doesn't look like you want to talk. If you want to talk you better start before something starts getting thrown at you." Using telekinesis Haze lifted up a car behind Contra.

Nightwing saw as a small blur left the ship. He looked at Raven. "That is Quickspeed," she said. "I wonder where he is going now," Nightwing said.

Impulse was just sitting around waiting for something to happen. Nothing had been going down lately. Ever since last year when the Teen Titans had to help the NJLU. Some members of the Titans had even been promoted up to the NJLU. The only members who were still at the house was Superboy and the 4th Robin. Wonder Girl was there too. Aqualad had been promoted but they still had Beast Boy.

A knock on the door disrupted his train of thought. Bart yelled "I go it." Less than a thousandth of a second later Impulse had the door open. What he saw shocked him. "Arthur, what are you doing here?"

"Maybe, maybe not. Maybe I'm just a person who doesn't want to see the earth thrown out of balance and lots of decent people killed." Sacer replied

Sacer's eyes focused on the Legion multiples climbing onto the deck.

How can I fight these guys without killing them? These blades aren't exactly non lethal. He asked himself frowning at his swords.

Diaphanous laughed... "Vice Master would be perfect, my love. Thank you for your trust. I hope I do not let you down in any way. Prepare to deal with Surge's rage, Enertro. He may not show it to you; however, he will show it to me. As I said, he will try to sabotage us, I believe. I wish he knew how we felt about each other. Words cannot describe. I would die for you Enertro."

Sometime later that night:

Diaphanous heard all the commotion and noticed Enertro gone. She ran up to the deck after hearing the splash.

Her eyes became huge. "Reave! I mean Sacer!" She shouted to him. "Everyone, this is Reave in his new form." As she spoke, she telepathically woke Athena and telekinetically made her alarm go off as well. She told her to get on deck; that Reave/Sacer was there.

“Everyone… someone else from the NJLU who can appear as anything he wants is also here!” She whispered to Enertro, “I will mind read everyone as soon as possible and find the fake.”

Diaphanous looked in Sacer's eyes sadly and earnestly. "Sacer, I am so happy you broke your hell with Alucard." Next, she collapsed to her knees sobbing. "Sacer, please... I am your friend. Do not kill us. We are your friends." She looked at him with genuine joy that he battled his demons and won, but with despair that he no longer considered her a friend, and wished to kill her.

"Sacer... Congratulations on beating Alucard. Hello Fenrir," she acknowledged him.

"Sacer, I can only call you... friend. I believed in you when you did not. We all did. I did everything I could to protect you from Alucard." Diaphanous was choking back sobs.

"Please please just leave here Sacer." She looked into his eyes. "There are many others to battle... please remember... I... I still care." She was sobbing uncontrollably now, likely disgusting Surge and upsetting Enertro.

Diaphanous was a strong woman, however, she held some bonds very sacred.

"I believe Athena wishes to speak with you, Sacer... If you could wait, she should be on her way up. She has been desperate to be with you. Do not let her down. Speak with her and then let us speak together.

Diaphanous looked at him showing utter despair and sadness that he could even consider killing her. "How... could you... kill... me?" She almost whispered.

"Dear Diaphanous, it was never my intention to kill anyone on this ship. However if you should continue your plans for world domination then I just might have to."

Fenrir ran over and began licking her hand joyfully. He had been sitting around for an hour while Sacer talked to Legion and Surge as the sun set revealing a large full moon.

"I just want to convince Enertro to stop this crusade before more people are kill-" He was interrupted by a voice shouting from atop the tower of the deck.

"Like you ever cared for human life Reave, or Sacer, or Decimus, or whatever the hell alias you're going by now." Athena's gentle voice came from the shadows of the night.

"You're one to talk vampire." Sacer responded with a tone of anger. He knew when Athena was ready to fight no one would convince her otherwise.

A gunshot rang out striking Sacer's facemask harmlessly. The moonlight reflected gloriously off his blue armor as the warrior sighed.

"I won't fight y-." Sacer was cut off as several grenades bounced around his feet along with a large demolition pack. "Holy shi-" He tried to exclaim before getting caught in a hellish explosion.

Enertro stepped up behind Diaphanous, Surge and the Legions following. "Sacer, have you forgotten what we have told you? What we have shown you? How the NJLU is a fraud. They use their powers to put fear in the hearts of those that would oppose them. They sit up there in their satellite, acting as the omnipresence of this world. We are working to liberate, not annhilate. I suggest that you reconsider your opinions...you are always welcome back here on our side. The right side..." Enertro looked seriously at Sacer. What are you thinking, Sacer? Do you remember anything when you were Reave?

Surge glared at Diaphanous, who was sobbing at Sacer's feet. He walked over and gently picked her up, placing her in front of the guards. Enertro didn't seem to mind, as he thought Surge was keeping her away for her protection.

"Diaphanous, I want you to blast his mind with whatever you have. Something that would kill him. He means to kill us, so we must strike first," he said as he looked hard into her eyes.

It can't be...I killed you in hell, you're dead, even if you survived you're in hell!

You really think I would let you escape so easily...

Sacer flashed back to his last fight and as he was walking away a piece of Alucard lept onto his back and crawled into his armor.

Now time for a little revenge you traitorous dog. How about killing all of your friends here for me? What you think you came here to talk Enertro out of world conquest? Hardly. I want you to suffer Sacer, suffer like no one has suffered before and when you break down I will take your body and reattempt my project which you have utterly ruined.

The dust settled from the explosion revealing bright red eyes through Sacer's facemask. Fenrir sensed something wrong in Sacer, something horrible and started barking at him ferociously.

Diaphanous calmly looked at Surge.

I will not kill him, but I will destroy the brain cells that carry the memories of anything that happened regarding the NJLU, us, Haze, everyone. Haze... no one will be able to bring those memories back after the destruction of those cells.

Suddenly Alucard appeared. He is next.

In an instant it was done. Under no circumstances could Sacer know who he was. Nor Fenrir. Diaphanous put him into a deep sleep.

Perhaps the humane thing to do would be to erase memories of his past as Reave as well... he does not need to be tortured. He can start over. Only then, can he start anew and become whatever type of man he is meant to be on his own terms without a past to sway him.

Diaphanous erased all his memories. He would not know who he was. He would find out and make himself a new person. The same thing with Fenrir. Who knows? They may end up as they are now, or perhaps normal human beings... I will not kill him... I can't. She mused.

Sacer and Fenrir collapsed as she rendered them unconscious.

"Enertro, I've erased their memories... all the way down to who they ever were. Clean slate. I destroyed those brain cells. I suggest he be left at a hospital on the mainland before being woken up."

Diaphanous looked at the unconscious Sacer and back at Surge. "No need to kill him, however, someone better change his clothing, get him to the mainland and drop him off at a hospital ASAP." She instructed.

I wonder what Athena will think. Decimus and Fenrir will have no memory of her...

It took her much more concentration with Alucard... I will have to scramble him into a virtual vegetable.

Diaphanous concentrated on Alucard. She literally burnt out his frontal lobe, thus giving him a lobotomy. She then scrambled all the brain chemistry and the neurotransmitters. For good measure, she raised his Substance P 1000 times. That should leave him brainless.

It was just then, after she scrambled 'Alucard' into mush, that she realized this was most likely the intruder. She couldn't read his mind as there was nothing but nonsense to read.

"Enertro, I think that was the intruder. I scrambled his mind to nothing, but I do not believe that is Alucard. Nevertheless, Sacer has no memories."

Diaphanous was angry at herself for her haste. "I could 'unscramble' this possible Alucard and see who it truly is... likely someone from the NJLU."

She sighed, looking at the unconscious Sacer. "What do you think Enertro? Surge?" She asked for their opinions.

Several of the Legion Multiples were baring Athena's path to Sacer, so she wouldn't kill him, while the real Legion picked up the two sleeping ones to bring them to

"Why didn't you kill him? He posed a threat to us all. He could have killed Enertro or any one of us, and you refused to follow a direct order! I should have you taken away from this organization for the reason of insubordination and not following orders for the SECOND time from a higher ranking officer!" Surge was angry. He wanted the traitor killed for his crimes. But now he had the possibility to get rid of Diaphanous too. Another traitorous dog... he thought, begining to smile wickedly as he glared at Diaphanous.

Diaphanous explained that her mind powers could not kill. That she could work only with brain chemistry, which meant, she couldn't even cause a stroke, as that is the circulatory system. She can only kill with other powers, as he could have done as well.

"And by the way," Diaphanous looked at Surge mockingly, "I think Enertro has something to tell you." She grinned knowing she was now his superior.

Surge looked at Enertro, eye brow cocked. "What is it, master?" He asked, his voice hard, but his insides were squirming. He hated the way she grinned in his face. The way she said Enertro had something to say to him.

"General Surge...I would like you to address Diaphanous as...Master. She is the vice-master of this organization and will rule when I cannot."

Surge gasped in awe. "No...this cannot be! You cannot allow this...this...Witch to lead this organization?" he looked at Enertro worridly and glanced at Diaphanous, fear in his eyes.

"I trust her with my life, and I trust her skills in leading this organization General. Don't worry, you still command the armies under me and Her."

"You witch! What have you done with Enertro?!" he shouted, his voice wavering.

"Wouldn't calling me a 'witch' be considered insubordination, or 'conduct unbecoming an officer'?" Diaphanous asked half mockingly.

"General Surge, I have done nothing to Enertro." She looked at him very seriously. "I am capable of what Enertro has decided. We discussed it quite a bit." She glared at him. "We are also aware that you are likely to attempt to sabatage me, anything I do, and our relationship. I suggest you do not try. I am not going to be running about ordering you around, so don't be concerned. I am not taking your place or taking over." Diaphanous tried to assure Surge. "I am not your enemy!"

She shook her head. "General, I only wanted your abuse of me to stop... all this talk of insubordination... and in this case, there was no insubordination. You fear I have done something to Enertro. I have not."

Diaphanous looked deeply into Surge's eyes. "It is quite obvious that you have never truly loved or trusted someone implicitly. Enertro did not give me this rank because he loves me, but because he trusts me, and feels that the rank of General is more appropriate for you. In other words, I believe you are the better General of the Army." She stated.

"The well being of this organization is in all our best interests. I suggest we try to get along. I have had nothing against you ever, however, you seem to be jealous of me taking up your time with Enertro, perhaps moreso than your suspicions of me. I hope you learn to believe in me and trust me. Surge, I want that very much. I only hope some day you find your soul mate, and you will understand that unwavering trust is implicit. Enertro and I are very lucky. I have not done anything to him." She turned around and walked back to Enertro.

"General Surge, I do have one command, and that is that you do not ever refer to me as witch or any other such degrading name. THAT is an order."

Diaphanous looked at Enertro. "Would you try to make him understand... or something? I don't think he ever will."

Surge was shocked. He didn't know what to do or say. He opened his mouth but no words came out. "If you'll excuse me Wit...Master, I will be in my room," he finally said angrily. He stomped off to his room, rethinking what just went over.

Enertro put his arm around Diaphanous's waist as he watched Surge angrily walk away. "Well, that went...semi-decent. I will do my best to tell him that this is the best idea, and for the good of this organization."

Enertro looked at Diaphanous and put both arms around her waist, bringing them both closer together. He planted a light kiss on her neck and whispered "When this is all over, I suppose my last goal would be to find Surge's soulmate. Then he'll finally realize what we've talked about."

Enertro chuckled at the thought as he added another kiss.

"I am still concerned about what he may try to do to me, Enertro. I know it's going to be bad now... worse. As long as we believe in each other, we'll be fine. Hopefully he won't kill me... however, I wouldn't be surprised if he tried, Enertro."

Diaphanous sighed, then kissed him and smiled. "I'll cross that bridge when I get to it, I guess." Then she began to chuckle.

"A soulmate for Surge? Well, cockroaches are the wrong species..." Diaphanous smirked. "... or are they?" She laughed and held Enertro tightly.

--Sacer's Mind--

The human laid in an infinitely white void completely naked. A wolf laid next to him so he grabbed him and held it tightly.

"It's cold in here."

Suddenly visions of hell, a white light, wars, vampires, biblical portraits, Athena, a massive winged demon, his family, the raze of a city, a cliff side, a man in dark red armor wielding a scythe flashed before his eyes before disapearing into the void. The human let go of the wolf and chased after them gaining no ground. Suddenly a great pain filled his chest as he turned around and the wolf was gone.

He fell to his knees hitting the ground. "My memories..."

Opportunity presents itself

"Who said that?"

Athena lept from the tower and landed next to Diaphanous.

"What the hell did you do to him!?" She screamed at her ready to strike again.

Haze had been able to get some information from Sacer befire he left. He knew all about Enertro and Diaphanous. Haze shook his head, Diaphanous would have made a great hero. Haze looked on her as a pawn in the real villian's hands. He had also learned of that Enerto was somehow connected to the US Government. What is the government doing to work with such petty criminals? He also saw that Enertro had a superpowered allies. There was Surge, Legion, and Prism. None of them were that much of a threat. He then thought back to Contra's meeting with the Russians. Perhaps all of this is connected. I need to speak with Nightwing before I start theorizing though. He tried to gain more information, but it seemed like it had disappeared when he started fighting. Like someone had erased it. Haze knew that was impossible unless Sacer was actually killed. Sacer was to powerful to be killed though. It was just hidden away so that no one could find it. Haze thought to himself Maybe I should start opening doors so that I can find those skeletons in the closets. Haze focused back on Contra.

Nightwing and Raven were still on the island bordering the ships. He couldn't decide whether or not he should go after Morph or not. They had not heard back from him. He needed some advice. The only person he could think of calling was the Haze in the Watchtower. He pressed a button and said, "Watchtower come in."

Virgil Hawkins aka Static Shock was just sitting around covering for Haze. I always get stuck covering for James. He got up and walked around. He hadn't done monitor duty in a long time. He had just been handling a lot of crime in Dakota. Dakota was starting to become a larger city. Last year Dakota had been the place where the Martian Manhunter began to fight. Static was the first one on the scene. The martian had shut Static down without even blinking. The NJLU was lucky that a former enemy of Static had stepped up to help them. Hotstreak had come to Static's rescue. Because the Manhunter was weak against fire Hotstreak was perfect The Static and Hotstreak along with many other pyrokinetics and eletrokinetics took the Manhunter down. Static hadn't heard much from Hotstreak lately. Last he knew was that he had went to study volcanoes in Japan.

Static then heard a voice. "Watchtower come in." Static looked around. He couldn't figure out what that voice was coming from. Then he finally noticed a red light blinking next to the speaker. Static ran up to it and pressed a button that was next to it . "This is Static, what is your problem."

Nightwing hadn't heard Static's voice in a long time. "Hey Static. Is Haze around?" Static replied, "No he isn't. I think he is out trying to find out some more information about the villians who attacked Brazil earlier today. Can I help you with it?"

Nightwing knew that Static had been around just as long as he had. They both were key people in the NJLU. Nightwing responded, "Yeah. Morph has went upon an enemy ship and I am trying to decide whether to follow him or not."

Static then said, "If you think he is in trouble you should follow him. He could be in danger."

Nightwing smiled. Static had always been the helpful one. "Thanks Virgil. I'll need you to track Raven and I from the Watchtower. Over and out." Nightwing cut the connection. Static shook his head and started tracking him.

"You're a lifesaver. We should block our minds." Dick blocked his off and jumped through the portal. Raven did the same after he went through. They both landed inside of small room on the ship.

"I wanted to tell you about the alliance. Truly inspirational. From what I know of it, several nations with powerful militarys have hired some villain mercenaries to aid the cause. It's a united front. Are you prepared for that?"

She looked smug, but somehow as if the entire situation were passé.

"I'm afraid I don't know many more specifics than that."

She so wanted this to go down with no deaths. She did not want to lose Fenrir or Decimus as friends. Diaphanous believed in the cause most definitely. She despised Haze who obviously never considered her worthy of even being called.

Diaphanous opened her mind to the tracker. "The tracker is Raven. She is with Nightwing. It's almost as if we're on the phone together we can read each other so well." Raven, please, you do not understand... QS, your NJLU comrade mowed down an entire room of innocent security people with a machine gun earlier... The NJLU is becoming arrogant and all-powerful. It is dangerous. Yes, an NJLU person murdered innocents in cold blood.

Diaphanous let Raven look into her mind so she could see for herself, the carnage, the actual actions... the picture of QS in action, and that she was not lying. Look what the NJLU is becoming... and Haze behaves as if he is God himself. I think he believes it. He is a horrible arrogant man, whose only goal is to control the world.

"Well Enertro, everyone, they are on their way." Diaphanous blocked her mind off completely to any mind readers.

She then did some telepathy on Sacer, Fenrir, and the entity that entered Sacer.

"Oh my God!" She cried. "Something has gone wrong... The intended mind actions didn't work completely, and I don't know who is gone and who is still OK." She went into Fenrir's mind. Fenrir, it is Diaphanous... I adore you... I am sorry for what I did to you.

Since she only erased Fenrir's memories without destroying the cells, she was able to restore Fenrir back to his wolf state.

"Fenrir..." Diaphanous looked at the wolf apologetically. "I am sorry. I made a mistake with you."

"Enertro, something has gone wrong..."

OOC: Enertro and his gang are very accomplished criminals. They wouldn't have been chosen if they weren't. Your character is a young but accomplished telekinetic/ telepath who is now considered a traitor to the NJLU. The NJLU would accept her back with open arms. It would be a situation similar to when the Hawkgirl came back to the JLU. Like I said in the beginning either side could win. It just depends on where the cards fall.

Raven heard Diaphanous' cry out her. She used her magic so that her thoughts could be heard by Nightwing. Nightwing laughed at what she said. "She says that Haze is arrogant and thinks he is a god. She is crazy. Seems to me like she is mad because she wasn't called in for a mission. She was a new recruit and really didn't give Haze a chance to call her up before she jumped the ship. How can she judge him like that after only having one conversation with the guy?" Nightwing looked around and said, "Do you think you can get back in contact with her?" Raven looked up and said, "She has blocked her mind off. You would have to have Haze or another strong telepath to break through." Nightwing shook his head. "So it is only a one-way street, huh. She wants us to hear her opinions but she doesn't want to listen to ours." Nightwing sighed. "I can't believe this. Oh well." Nightwing pulled out his staff. "Get ready Raven. Static is watching us in case we get in any trouble. We have to find Morph and get off of this ship." Nightwing grabbed the door handle and opened it.

"I wanted to tell you about the alliance. Truly inspirational. From what I know of it, several nations with powerful militarys have hired some villain mercenaries to aid the cause. It's a united front. Are you prepared for that?"

She looked smug, but somehow as if the entire situation were passé.

"I'm afraid I don't know many more specifics than that."

Haze looked at the smug look on her face. He had saw that many times before. "How would you know these things? I don't believe you. And even if you were telling me the truth why would you tell me this?" Haze said to Contra.

Enertro broke their embrace, adding one last kiss. He then turned to Athena. "Athena, Sacer will be fine. My beloved Athena would not do anything to harm him."

"I suggest you all get ready for a battle, if they are coming. Diaphanous, please come with me," Enertro grabbed Diaphanous' hand and led her back to his quarters. Along the way he told some guards to pull the alarm, and another group to fly the remainder of his 'Brazilian Goods', to one of his bases. Once they got to his quarters, he closed the door and brought Diaphanous next to a wall. "I do not want you to get hurt. I want you to stay by me at all times. I can put up a shield for the two of us. But If something breaks my sheild, or my concentration, I want you to have more protection than what you are wearing."

Enertro felt along the wall for an unknown item and made a look of satisfaction. He lightly banged the wall, making it slide open, and revealing a button. He pushed it and a larger door opened up nearby, with several pieces of armor. "I do not know if any of these will fit you, but they are many pieces of armor crafted for me throughout the years. Pick any one you want."

Enertro smiled and walked away, opening a cabinet near his bed, and pulled out two pistols, some magazine clips, and a light machine gun. He then walked to his previously packed suitcase and pulled out his armor, which he donned, along with the cape.

General Surge was sitting in his chair, trying to relax. That infernal witch...ungrateful brat! Always asking so nicely to her puppet to get her this or get her that. Just wait...I will have my revenge... Surge's gloved hands tightened on his seat, and one of the balls of electricity exploded from all the power suddenly shooting out of Surge's hands. Just then, the alarms blared, snapping Surge from his trance. He looked at his pistols which he previously held against Sacer. He sighed, and walked to his suitcase and brought out a loaded shotgun, along with 24 shells, which he strapped to his waste.

The US copter hovered above the ship. The pilot, General Jacob Black who was the US second-in-command sent a message to the ship telling them that he was about to land. He then began his descent. He turned on his anti-mind reader equipment and landed the helicopter. He then got off and said, "Where is Enertro. Tell him that his second-in-command is here." Black smiled to himself.

Athena snatched Sacer from Legion and set him on the deck shaking him.

"Sacer! Reave! Decimus! One of you please answer me." She screamed holding him tightly. "How many times do I have to lose you." she said with tears in her eyes.

--Sacer's Mind--

"Who are you?" The bare human asked

"My name is Alucard and it appears we have been betrayed."

"Where are we, what is going on?" Sacer screamed.

"Trust me when I say let me in.

"I don't understand." He asked absolutely befuddled.

Only I know how to fix things and make them right.

"I have no memory of anything, I guess I can trust you." He innocently invited and immediately Alucard plunged into his Sacer's essence completely absorbing him.

Fenrir ignored Diaphanous' apology and sprinted next to fallen Sacer nudging his arm.

"Please don't give up, don't let him in." The wolf begged.

No sooner had he finished Sacer awoke with a crimson stare.

Diaphanous found some black armor that fit. She put it on under her leather.

"Enertro, you forget... all solid objects can pass through me, and I remain unharmed. However, I think I would like a machine gun if you have an extra... and lots of ammo." She told him.

Fenrir managed to dogde the first swipe but Athena caught the brunt of the attack as her arm fell lifeless to the deck. She fell to her knees grasping the missing limb.

"This shell will do just nicely, it'll take some time getting used to of course but hey it's worth it." A voice disimiliar to Sacer's mused approaching Athena and the Fenrir blades drawn.

Morph had scaled the ship, and begun traversing the vessel as an exceptionally thin, and spread out 'invisible' ooze. Reaching, and sliding into a 'janitors closet', he reformed into a human form, taking the form and body of what would commonly be called a Red Shirt. As a now generic ships personnel, he exited the room and began walking down the corridor.

Nightwing and Raven had just walked onto the deck when the man called Sacer started fighting the wolf and a woman. Raven said to Nightwing, "That is Athena." They ran over to her and Raven grabbed her. "Athena what happened. What is happening?" Raven said to her.

Sacer began appraoching when Fenrir lunged at him. The human batted him away hard and the wolf went soaring into the tower.

"Any last words woman?" The possessed Sacer growled stretching his swords out at Athena.

She tore a necklace from her and threw at him, instinctively he caught it and stared at what was in his palm; a gold wedding band that looks like it has suffered the wrath of time.

Some members of the Titans had even been promoted up to the NJLU. The only members who were still at the house was Superboy and the 4th Robin. Wonder Girl was there too. Aqualad had been promoted but they still had Beast Boy.

A knock on the door disrupted his train of thought. Bart yelled "I go it." Less than a thousandth of a second later Impulse had the door open. What he saw shocked him. "Arthur, what are you doing here?"


"Hey Bart, well I quit the NJLU and both of the Flashes suggested I join the Teen Titans. So I came here wondering if I can join. Also Bart I'm not Quickspeed. I'm carrying on the honor you once held. I'm Kid Flash. So you going to let me inside?" Arthur felt something wrong, but he didn't know what. It was a gut feeling.

Raven and Nightwing watched as the possessed Sacer looked at the gold ring. They both stood around Athena so that they could protect her.

Haze looked her. She was just in it for the fight. Haze looked at her and said "So what country are you fighting for? Japan, Canada, Germany?" He was sure that some of the things she was saying was true. He would have to look into this plan.

The blood red glow in Sacer's eyes died down as he stared at the wedding band he had given Athena 1,200 years ago.

"I kept it with me the whole time Decimus, just so I had a part of you with me." She said wounded in the care of Raven.

No one could see it through his face plate but Sacer shed a tear as he remembered vague and tattered memories of a cliffside. Alucard was screaming in the depths of his mind and soul but he simply shut them out as he stared at the ring.

"Hey Bart, well I quit the NJLU and both of the Flashes suggested I join the Teen Titans. So I came here wondering if I can join. Also Bart I'm not Quickspeed. Impulse smiled at Arthur. "Yeah come in. You are Kid Flash now, huh? Not a bad name." They walked into the Tower. "Everyone come here. I have someone for you to meet. All of the superteens came from there various places. "Everyone this is Kid Flash. He is joining us here. He is a new Titan." Everyone introduced themselves. Robin IV then walked over to him and handed him a communicator. "Welcome to the team."

"Thanks, I'm proud to be in the Teen Titans." Taking the communicator he started to have tears. Arthur looked at the Teen Titans. Finally he was with some superheros his age. "So Robin anything happening in the world right now?"

OOC: I think I might have all of the Teen Titans get drafted into the NJLU temporarily because it might get to confusing with the storyline. And then after this thread is over I might start a Teen Titans one. What do you guys think?

IC: Robin shook his head. "Nope. Everything that we are supposed to cover is pretty fine. The NJLU is handling everything else. Something might happen later though," Robin replied. Robin walked over ot the big monitor.

Sacer walked to the edge of the ship's deck and stared into the moonlight as he held the ring. One of his katanas clattered on the ground while the other was still firmly in his hand.

"I see now, I loved you once and this Alucard is trying to kill you. I don't want to be forced to kill the one I love. I could never live with myself, good bye my love"

Immediately and spontaneously Sacer plunged his sword through his armor and into his chest. Slowly, Sacer's blood trickled down the blade and he smiled as he felt the burden of life lift from him. There was no pain, only the ultimate satisfaction of his sacrifice. His legs gave out and he fell over the edge of the ship towards the sea.

I love her...

The water was exceptionally cold but he didn't notice and only smiled at his selfless acts. He couldn't refrain anymore and soon let his eyes close for the last time. Though lifeless he was still holding the ring firmly.

Athena only could reach towards him and gasp in sobs.

Kid Flash felt something bad. The pain was too much for him. Too much for him. As he started to walk away he collasped.

Nightwing watched in shock as the great warrior ended his own life so that he wouldn't slay the ones he loved. Nightwing said to Athena, "He sacrificed himself for you." Nightwing looked at the helicopter as it landed. A tall man in a US Military uniform got out. Nightwing said to himself, "What in the hell is a US official doing here?" The man moved out of his view behind the helicopter.

Kid Flash felt something bad. The pain was too much for him. Too much for him. As he started to walk away he collasped.


Impulse ran up to Kid Flash and said, "What's wrong with him?" Robin quickly got on the phone and said, "We need to get him to the Watchtower. They are the only ones who can treat him." He dialed the number quickly.

Athena couldn't speak she only slumped against the wall of the tower staring into nothing.

"You're free now Reave, that's all you ever wanted so I'm not sad. In fact, I know I'll see you aga-" Her words stopped and she could no longer hold in she wept more than ever before.

Fenrir just regained conciousness as he stumbled over and fell in Athena's lap. Her tears alone already told the entire story to him.

You redeemed yourself after all.

The wolf howled into the night sky for his fallen comrad.

The Haze heard Fenrir's howl mentally. He thought to himself Decimus. You sacrificed everything. He closed his eyes to hold back a single tear for his fallen comrade. He then looked upon his enemy's face.

He tossed the machine gun at Diaphanous. "You can take mine. I rarely use it," he smiled as he pulled out several magazines for it. I'm not sure if you have pockets with you," he laughed a bit. "But I can carry these for you."

He stuffed the clips in his pants pocket and embraced Diaphanous. "Are you ready?"

Just then, someone opened the door. "Masters, the U.S is here, ready and waiting," said Legion.

Surge had reached the top deck and saw a helicopter. Running to it, he realized it was the U.S. "About time you show up...Does anyone else know you're here? How many can you carry?"

As the guards saw the NJLU on deck, they opened fire with their machine guns, careful not to hit Athena or Fenrir.

"Thank you for the gun and holding the clips. I have pockets in my cape, but I'd just as soon you hold them my love."

Diaphanous kissed Enertro as someone summoned them informing them that the US was here.

"Guess we should go!"

Athena slowly stopped crying and her arm had healed over nicely considering it was such a clean cut.

"I want to go back to the cliffside Fenrir, get away from everything and just live." She said when the gun fire broke out.

"Can we stay a little longer, I don't want to leave him just yet." The wolf's words almost shocked Athena when she realised He and Reave shared a mind for so long and then to lose the other half. It was a bond deeper than any brothers.

"We can stay a little bit." She whispered embracing the wolf.

Enertro held onto Diaphanous' arm as they were led to the Helicopter by Legion. Enertro saw Athena and had no idea what went on out there. "Athena, are you coming with us?" he shouted over the gun fire, adding some of his own.

She slowly looked up and answered with a weak voice. "You guys go on."

Fenrir turned to look and then put his head back in her lap.

Do they have no idea what happened to Sacer? Or do they just not care? Either way it's irrelevent, I hope never to see them again.

"Enertro... I am reading Athena... Sacer killed himself." Diaphanous began to cry. She yelled out to Athena, "Athena," Diaphanous was sobbing by now, "I... I am so sorry for your l... loss. He was my fr... fre...". Diaphanous could not continue.

Sobbing, she nearly collapsed in Enertro's arms. It surprised even her that she was so devastated.

"Enertro... please don't think me... weak. D...does not hate me for this. He was a friend. I hope what my memory wipe did not contrib..." Diaphanous could not continue talking. "I am sorry Enertro. Please believe my loyalty is always to you. I thought he would go on and start a new life elsewhere." She sighed. "I guess it wouldn't have made a difference. He did it to get rid of Alucard.

"Enertro, Surge will tell you I am unfit because of my feelings. I am not. I can put them aside when necessary, however, it was not necessary this time. Do you understand what I am trying to say? I will be the best Second in Command you have ever seen. You have helped me realize more of my potential and our love makes me strong.

"I suppose we should go now." Diaphanous collected herself.

Don't cry Diaphanous, he's free now, he's no one's slave. He always talked about how he was free but always bound in chains but now, there are no more chains for him. He's found peace at last and maybe I have to.

She took one hand off the wolf and slowly rubbed her stomach.

One day we might see each other again.

Raven teleported away as the gunfire broke out. Nightwing lept out of the way and jumped up to the helicopter. A worker ran at him. Nightwing pulled out a birdarang and slung it at him. It hit him directly in chest and sent him flying into three others. By the time he got to the helicopter the villians were already in. He threw a explosive birdarang into the side of the helicopter. It barely nicked the side of the helicopter. The helicopter began to take off. He saw the face of the pilot. He pulled out a small camera and took a picture of him. He would cross reference the picture to the NJLU database. Before the helicopter got to high up Nightwing pulled out a tracker. He slung it as hard as he could towards the helicopter. He pressed a button on his watch. He then saw the helicopter moving. He knew where they were going. He then buzzed Static. "I am going to need a teleportation back up to the Tower. Stay here, Raven."

Raven walked over and joined Athena and Fenrir.

If you want to anymore about me just ask." He looked at the people. "You brought too many Enertro. You do know that only one other can join us at the meeting. You'd better go on and pick." Black then headed the jet directly to Los Angelos.

"Mr. Ambassador did you tell Contra that she has a meeting at Cadmus in LA," said the ambassador's assistant. The ambassador gulped. "No I didn't. Get her on the phone now." The assistants ran to find a phone. They then called her. "I really hope she answers."

Athena saw the friendly face approaching but she continued petting the wolf who now stared into nothingness. One lost her love the other his companion and yet there was still some hope.

"He could have let mankind fall into complete darkness, why he didn't I'll never know. He hated humans, he always talked about it, but why did he fight Alucard. Did he know something I didn't?" She looked back down at Fenrir. "You knew him better than me, what was he thinking?"

The wolf broke his fixed trance on the ocean and responded "I'm not sure, Reave always had a mixed hatred and love for humans that I'll never understand. Ironic really. At the time he found out Alucard's plans he should have been more than happy to destroy mankind but he fought against him so viciously that we escaped."

Athena carressed the wolf's head and asked "What happened when he fought Alucard the last time Fenrir?"

There was a long pause as the wolf continued staring into the sea.

She had just started to answer Haze when her personal cellphone began to ring. Slightly puzzled, she held up one index finger, motioning for patience as she checked the caller. She then brought the finger to her lips, motioning for silence.

"Mr. Ambassador... just the man I was hoping to speak with."

She smiled smugly on her end, eyeing Haze with an implied need for complience with her wishes.

When the pilot told Enertro that only one other would come along, Diaphanous looked at Enertro, waiting for him to answer the pilot.

OOC: How would Dia know about the tracker? She can't have telepathic contact with a nonliving object. Also because she is already on the helicopter she wouldn't know of the picture. And even if you knew about the picture you can't burn it because it is still inside of the camera. You can maybe try your high voltage and make the camera malfunction but you can't destroy the picture if it hasn't been developed. Also don't you need to be able to see the picture to burn it?

Haze was in a bad situation. If he attacked Contra he wouldn't be able to get the information. If he sat around just waiting the so-called defense that was being built wouldn't be able to be stopped on account that they building and the NJLU wasn't preparing. Haze was stuck between a rock and a hard place.

The ambassador nodded. "Contra I am sure that you know where the old Cadmus building in LA is right. You have a meeting there later on this afternoon. You are to meet you second-in-command at the airport. You will recognize her. Then you two are to make your way to the Cadmus building. If you need a plane I will send you one. You are not to discuss any of this with anyonen until you get to the meeting. Is that understood?" the ambassador told Contra.

The helicopter was now over Nevada. Enertro hadn't come to a decision yet. Black looked back from the pilot seat and said to Enertro, "You might want to select the one who you have known the longest. The one you have had the most experiences with. They will probably be most helpful. Definitely pick the one you trust the most." Black accelerated the helicopter towards the Cadmus base.

She blasted down the deck of the ship picking up one of Sacer's blades before taking a 90 degree turn straight into the water.

Before Raven could even say anything to her she was already gone. They heard a splash and it she had disappeared. She was about to teleport away when she realized they had forgotten about Morph. She thought to herself, Now I gotta find the person who can be anyone.She began to walk around the deck looking for signs of the inconspicuous hero.

There was no one on the ship. Raven was still searching for Morph when she saw someone go around a corner. She thought to herself That has to be Morph. She ran up behind the man and tapped his shoulder. She then asked, "Is that you Morph?"

Crewman Morph looked back and noticed Raven. Since he was in the guise of a crewman rather than security person, he didn't have to raise an alarm. "I'm afraid I'm not sure who you are refereing to, my name is Sean." As he said that his eyes changed from pale grey to bright green and slowly back again.

Wooshaba']The helicopter was now over Nevada. Enertro hadn't come to a decision yet. Black looked back from the pilot seat and said to Enertro, "You might want to select the one who you have known the longest. The one you have had the most experiences with. They will probably be most helpful. Definitely pick the one you trust the most." Black accelerated the helicopter towards the Cadmus base.


Enertro looked out the window, not wanting to face anyone right now. Who should I bring? Both Surge and Diaphanous are great picks. Legion wouldn't mind if I didn't pick him. Surge is the general of my armed forces...but Diaphanous...is my love, my second in command, and my...mind reader... Enertro smiled a bit. "I believe I will bring Diaphanous," he responded, getting his serious look again. "General Surge, I want you to contact the ship and get Prism over here. Also, I want you to get 'you-know-what' ready."

Surge stared hard at Enertro, but lightened up a little when he heard his master talk about "You-Know-What".

"As you command, Master. I prey your judgement will greatly benefit us," replied Surge, adding a small bow. He made a slight glance at his "Master Diaphanous" and grunted, adding a small glare. He took out a small cell phone from his pocket and told some guards to ready a copter or jet for Prism and to travel towards Los Angelus.

Diaphanous was relieved at Enertro's decision. "Thank you for trusting me, Enertro." She kissed him on the cheek.

When Surge was out of ear shot, Diaphanous continued, "You see, he will never accept me. He glares at me, calls me witch, accuses me of messing with your head, and generally treats me like garbage. I'm sick of it." She folded her arms across her chest.

"And by the way, you never entrusted me with the knowledge of the 'you-know-what'." She added. "Would you care to explain what the 'you-know-what' is?"

Diaphanous wondered why this information was kept from her and said so. "How can I be a competent #2 when you have secrets from me that even Surge knows about?" Diaphanous inquired, feeling hurt.

"So will you explain please, Enertro? The 'you-know-what', which sounds like something very important? Perhaps you did not trust me enough to let me in on this 'thing'. Surge knows exactly what it is, and I think I deserve to know as well, Enertro. You told me you trusted me completely, and here you have kept something important from me."

Diaphanous looked into his eyes waiting for an answer.

Prism, in all the chaos, managed to lose everyone. Finally, he found a helicopter waiting for him. He hoped in. It took him to where Enertro and Dia were flying in. "Whatsup guys. Sorry I'm late. So where are we headed to?"

Enertro gave Diaphanous a loving look, and put his pointer finger to his mouth, as if motioning for silence. Still smiling he slowly put his pointer finger on his head and tapped it, adding a small wink, motioning her to read his mind.

My love, this is no secret that you don't know. This is a secret the U.S doesn't know. The Uranium and the gold were both on the carrier. I just want Surge to get the uranium and gold to one of my bases, as well as get the Nuclear arsenal ready and made he thought, still smiling. He put his arm around her and lightly kissed her on the lips. "I would never keep something from you, my love," he whispered.

"My love, please don't worry about Surge. He won't hurt you when you're right next to me. I'll keep talking to him and he'll soon crack and trust in you nearly as much as I trust you," he said as he put his forehead against Diaphanous' and continued to kiss her lightly.

"We'll be going to Los Angelus, General Prism. You'll meet up with General Surge and General Legion there," responded the helicopter pilots, as they began to lift off the pad.

--12 miles South of London--

A ray of sunlight reached acrossed a man's face, his eyes opened and squinted trying to make sense of everything. Trying to put this puzzle together only hurt his head so he decided to go outside and see where he was. He had been staying in a small shack with barely enough room for a bathroom, living room, and a bed room. The building itself looked as if it was on its last leg as it was decaying horribly.

"Father time really took a bat to this place." The man mused himself stumbling out the doorway.

His legs were so weak, he grabbed a nearby stick for support and limped his way across the amber fields towards a cliff overlooking the ocean. The scenary was amazing, it was slightly warm outside but a cool sea breeze immediately balanced the temperature perfectly. Moving to the edge of the cliff he looked down and saw something disgustingly familiar. There was a large blood stained pentagram with exotic and confusing designs. Right beside it was a pile of ashes with the vague remains of a human. The man nearly fell back in shock and disgust. No, it was one human, it was several, in fact a lot. The wind was slowly pulling away the pile and still there was a good amount left. The distinct smell of burnt human flesh attack his nostrils and almost made him puke.

"You're finally awake." A strange voice said from behind him.

The man turned and saw a blue wolf sitting no more than ten feet behind him.

"Didn't think it would work, but I'll hand it to Athena, she's a genius. Of course it took several times to get it right but here you are." The wolf continued walking over to the man pushing its head into his hand.

The wolf then leaped into the human's head as a mass of green energy searching through his memories, subconcious, and ego for something. The wolf then leaped out smiling.

"Yeah he's completely gone." The wolf added.

Diaphanous got the gist of the motions Enertro made and read his mind. She nodded and pointed from herself to his head. She began to project into his mind.

Aren't you concerned the NJLU will get it? They are, after all, on the ship. If not get it, at least see it and destroy or take it for themselves? I hope Surge knows what he's doing. Diaphanous grinned.

"Speaking of...," she whispered in his ear, "he won't hurt me as long as I'm next to you? I am in danger if I am not in your presence Enertro? How did this guy end up being your best friend? It seems he does not have your best interest or your happiness at heart. I find it hard to believe he truly thinks I 'did' something to you. It's almost as if he's just jealous or something."

Diaphanous shrugged her shoulders. "I guess I would walk on eggshells around him when things may concern me. I would also appreciate it if you would say something to him the next time you hear him call me a witch or worse. I have really tried to get along with him, but he's been behaving like a sneaky snake... venomous as hell... and I know he will do anything to get rid of me." She held his head, turned it, and looked in his eyes. "Believe it Enertro. He will kill me and make it look like an accident if he knew he could get away with it."

"Ah, my love... I hope it doesn't come to that. I am looking forward to a long life with my soul mate." She then kissed Enertro. "May things all work out for us." She kissed him again. "I love you..."

"What is with the charred bodies down there?" The human demanded.

"Ah, those are the ingredients she needed to bring you back to life. It was a really messy business. You can't imagine the gore I've seen over the course of last night." The wolf responded coldly.

The human started becoming angry at the casual disregard for human life.

"Don't get angry, we did what we had to do, what is forty humans to the life on an angel who will go on to save millions?" The wolf replied.

"No one can make that choice! You had no right!" The human barked with a sense of justification behind his voice.

"Ok Sacer, before you continue your petty self righteous diatribe may I remind you of why you're even alive today? Yes, you remember the thousands of men you slaughtered for Alucard." The wolf shouted back.

The man had a hazy visual of what the wolf was talking about. Then it once again leapt into him but this time carried him back to the shack.

"You want to see who sacrificed those humans to save you then go to the back room if you think you're ready. I'm warning you though she hasn't cleaned off since last night." The wolf's words were so cold it sent a shiver down the man's back as he entered the house.

He followed the smell of human remains to a room in the back of the house where he paused at the door. The stench was overwhelming and he only missed it before because he was confused. The door creaked open revealing a small room with a desk, a bed, and a lamp. There was a woman with crimson hair and incredibly pale skin who when she saw him her eyes became huge and she approached him with an open arm.

"Get the hell away from me!" He screamed hittin her in the face knocking her to the ground. She was still smiling rubbing the bruise on the side of her face.

The man then realized that her hair was actually white only drenched in bits of human. Beyond disgusted the man was overwhelmed with rage when he lept on top of her and began beating her head into the ground. He looked over and there was a set of bright blue armor and two swords sitting in the corner. He snatched one of the blades and held it over his head.

"Decimus wait!" She pleaded raising her hand towards him, but it was pointless as he drove the blade straight through her heart and a foot into the floor. Blood sprayed like a pressurized hose when he removed the blade and he watched with pleasure as she faded from existance. Yet she still had a desperate smile on her face...

"You killed forty people, you deserved to die." He said whiping the blood from his brow. The blue armor in the corner caught his attention again.

"

Wooshaba']"No there isn't anything else. good luck at the meeting. Good-bye." The Ambassador hung up the phone.

Haze then said to Contra, "Who was that?" Haze was very suspicious.
"That was my 'employer.'"

She pocketed the phone and regained a sense of stoicism.

"I have a meeting scheduled with the rest of the Alliance. For now, I suggest you prepare. And if I see advantage in it, I will share with you what I know once my business there is concluded."

"I'm sorry my Diaphanous, let me rephrase what I said. He won't hurt you at all. As long as you're on our side, he knows how valuable you are. He believes in the old ways, unloving or uncaring of others, other than each other and the organization of course. You enlightened me and now I can feel love. Surge on the other hand...has not changed yet. But I still stand by my comment that he will change," he stroked the side of Diaphanous' face tenderly. "I will not lose you Diaphanous. Legion is around Surge nearly all the time. He will prevent Surge from harming you. I will correct Surge if he calls you anything other than Master of Diaphanous.

"I suppose he could call you 'The most beautiful creature in the universe', but then I may think he is hitting on you," Enertro replied with a chuckle. He looked at Diaphanous and stroked her hair playfully, before he kissed her long and hard. "Nothing will break us apart, my love."

"You're flattering me to death again Enertro!" Diaphanous chuckled.

She loved the feeling when they kissed... purity and strength of some sort... pure love. After a bit of kissing and such, Diaphanous spoke, "How many people are going to be at this meeting? I'm quite curious regarding all of this." She then added, "Don't forget the shopping!" and gave him a playful grin.

The man left the shack adorning the blue armor like a champion. Fenrir sat right beside the door and looked at him as he left.

Should I tell him that Woman was his true love for over a thousand years and was carrying his child? No, it'll be too much for him especially now. Maybe one day when everything has settled down. I hope you're happy Athena.

"So Sacer, if that's what you want to be known as, what do we do now?" The wolf inquired.

"I want to make things right, I want to protect those who cannot protect themselves." He said proudly wiping the blood from his sword.

"Let us go to the NJLU Headquarters then, they could use our help." The wolf replied.

"What is that?" Asked Sacer

He really remembers nothing, a thousand years of knowlege gone forever.

"I'll explain on the way over, come close." The wolf said before surrounding Sacer and exploding into the sky towards America.

"I am not sure how many people would be in this meeting, But im guessing several countries will be there with their own pairs of villains."

"Shopping? What is this 'shopping' that you talk about?" he added, giving his own playful grin. "I have not forgotten, my darling. As soon as we can, we'll go shopping."

He smirked, wondering what clothes she might want to buy. He imagined her scantily clad, his smile growing wider. He turned towards Diaphanous and kissed her some more.

"Anything else, my love?"

Wooshaba']Impulse walked up next to Static and said, "Well I didn't say it was a new power. I said that it could be a side effect of the fall or it could be a new ability."

Static walked over to him and pointed a figure at him. He then used his electrokinetic abilities to scan him. After he was done, Static said, "Well Quickspeed there is nothing the wrong with you." He looked at the Teen Titans. "How did you end up with them Arthur?

"Well after I quit the NJLU I went into the speed force. After talking to Barry and Wally they suggested to me to join the Teen Titans. So I came to them and I joined." Kid Flash finished tellin the story.

As Sacer flew back toward the NJLU HQ, guided by Fenrir, he tried to recollect his thoughts but failed. There were flashes of vague shapes and figures but nothing made sense. Then he saw Diaphanous and there was a primal connection between her and his lost memories.

"I have to find her, if only to find myself." He said.

"What about saving mankind?" Fenrir asked.

"That will come later, but she knows of my past and she can help me." Sacer replied.

This isn't good, if he remembers, then god only knows what he'll do. Fenrir thought.

"Listen Sacer, stay away from her, she'll tear your mind apart and turn you into a vegetable. Even when I'm with you I can only protect you for a little bit before she breaks into your mind. Stay away from that woman." The wolf ordered.

"So that's what happened..." Sacer immediately deduced.

shit he's catching on to everything.

Diaphanous felt a sort of shock to her mind...

"Enertro, something strange is happening... in my mind... I feel someone, perhaps trying to make contact, however it's very convoluted and I don't know who it is."

She sighed. "Well, I guess there is no reason to pore over it if I don't know what this is or who or... anything. Perhaps it will come to me later. I don't know who to attempt to read." Diaphanous stated, a bit frustrated.

She looked at Enertro and gave him a seductive grin... "I guess I'll forget it for now." Diaphanous then kissed Enertro deeply and passionately, as usual, quickening her heartbeat and forcing her breathing to become heavier."

Suddenly Sacer panicked and Fenrir lost control crashing into the side of a mall somewhere in North Texas.

Sacer curled into a ball clutching his head in absolute frustration as he couldn't piece his life together.

Maybe that damn wolf is controlling me! For all I know there's a trap at this supposed NJLU HQ. Yeah, he's a talking wolf who helped kill forty people, of course he's evil. Haha I almost walked right into it.

The blue wolf landed twelve feet in front of Sacer.

"What's wrong!?" He yelled at the human.

"You are!" Sacer yelled back drawing his blades and pouring all his strength into the attack. The wind exploded and two massive lines of energy blasted towards the wolf who narrowly evaded them. The bursts of power hit a wall and caused a massive explosion.

"What the hell is wrong with you Sacer?" The wolf barked

"I don't know who I am, or what you are even. Yet you've been manipulating me this whole time you bastard." The human growled.

Enertro wondered who would possibly want to contact Diaphanous. Especially trying to get to her mind. He smiled as she gave him a seductive grin. "I wish we had our own private room in this copter. Then it would nearly be like how we first met," he chuckled.

He let her kiss him, and felt her breath coming out heavier. He returned her kiss, and continued to kiss along her neck. "Diaphanous...I know I've said it many times...but I love you. You are the best thing to ever happen to me," he said in between kisses. I wish we had our own room...

Sacer felt something in his pocket, he pulled it out and it was a worn wedding band. There was a flash of who Athena was and then the woman he murdered in the shack.

"no..." He fell to his knees sobbing. There was another flash of his sacrifice on the ship deck. Several bullets pinged off of his back, it was mall security.

"Run you fools!" Fenrir barked but it was too late, in a flash Sacer and moved behind them and ripped his blades out of the pair.

Sacer began walking down the road of a small Texas town destroying every building he came across with a single swipe of one of his sword. A tall corporation building crumbled with two swipes at the structure's base. Fenrir could only look helplessly onward at the destruction.

Diaphanous gave a sly grin. "I wish we had our own room as well, Enertro... and I've said it to the point of redundancy myself; I love you more than anything. You are actually my soul mate. I never dreamed I could feel so wonderful and happy and loved... and love someone so much. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me as well." Things were getting a little steamier... "Yes, our own room would be nice. Your helicopter is far superior to this one."

As she was enjoying Enertro's attention, she felt a tug at her mind. This happened occasionally when something strange was going on, usually with someone whose mind she had 'adjusted'.

Unexpectedly, she stopped Enertro. "I think it is Sacer?" She stated more as a question. "But he's dead... or maybe he isn't. I keep getting these weird flashes, Enertro... I think it is only a matter of time before the source is revealed." Not wanting to think about something so frustrating that she couldn't piece together anyway, she began kissing Enertro again.

In a matter of minutes Sacer had reduced the town to a massive pile of rubble. Bodies lay torn apart and strewn everywhere, he stood in front of a gas mane that had exploded leaving a wall of fire behind him. Fenrir was terrified, Sacer had become a killing machine, but it was only the result of having his memories wiped, remade, wiped again. You can only write over something so many times before it becomes a confusing jumble, that is Sacer's mind.

Tanks rumbled in the distance and Sacer smiled. An armor piercing round hit him square in the chest and it failed to even move him. Not a scratch. The line of tanks were over a mile away and Sacer reached them in less than a minute dodging every shell they fired. The armored division's commander could only get out the letters Retr before his tank was cut into 14 pieces.

Fenrir only followed from a safe distance.

What the hell have we done Athena?

Wierd flashes? Sacer alive? This could mean good news...or bad news... He thought after she told him. He continued to think about this new information until Diaphanous began to kiss him again. He relaxed as she did so, practically melted underneath her barrage of kisses. He added his own kisses, silently cursing the Americans for not letting him fly himself over to the destination.

He felt behind Diaphanous' back, but trying hard to resist taking off her leather, instead, settling with rubbing her back.

Sacer stood among the armored debris picking up and playfully tossing away the shards of metal alloy. Fenrir slowly approached, wary of Sacer's power.

"Why are you doing this Sacer, I thought you wanted to protect humans, not obliterate them." The wolf submissively asked.

"I- I don't know anything. My head is pulling itself apart, I'm so confused and it's making me furious. I WANT MY MEMORIES BACK!" Sacer screamed as a crimson aura surrounded him. Fenrir retreated quickly as he saw an anger he hadn't witnessed since Reave.

The red aura surrounded Sacer like a whirlwind of pure hatred and wrath. A contingent of attack helocopters unleashed a volley of missiles at the wretched warrior. These were more effective as the shockwave rippled through his armor and shook Sacer to the bone. This pain drove him into a battle frenzy merging his two blades into a single massive one 8 feet long and 2 feet wide. A single swing created a massive tornado of pure energy that swept across the plain and devored the attacking force leaving not a remnance of their existance.

Sacer bent over, blood spewing from his mouth and dripping from his visor. The massive blade leaned over his shoulder as the red aura died down.

"Just give them back to me." He growled to no one.

"Enertro! The mind flashes are strong now. They're terrifying." Diaphanous was shaking.

"I think it might be best for me to try to contact Fenrir. Something horrible and dangerous has happened."

Diaphanous focused like she never focused before, trying to locate Fenrir's mind.

Fenrir... She began to feel a faint connection. Fenrir... It is Diaphanous. Something is wrong. Please tell me if you can hear me. I feel terror and I know Sacer is alive.

Diaphanous used all her strength to focus on Fenrir's mind. Please project to me Fenrir, if you can hear me telephathically.

Fenrir felt Diaphanous trying to contact to him, but he was too close to the unpredictable Sacer to focus so he flew miles away.

Diaphanous I can hear you. Sacer is alive but he's gone berserk without his memories. Unfortunately the attack of the military is only adding fuel to the inferno. He's not going to stop until he's killed or he gets his past back.

There were hundreds of infantrymen pouring on round after round into Sacer's unbreakable armor with no results. A series of quick slashes ripped through the air instantly slaughtered the doomed soliders.

"GIVE THEM BACK TO ME!" He screamed.

A bomber dropped a advanced version of a dasiy cutter right above Sacer. The wrathful warrior spun his blade in circles creating a whirlwind that pushed the bomb straight back into the air exploding gloriously.

He was walking through the barren plain destroying everything in his path.

Fenrir saw the massive explosion and could hear the soldier's screams.

I don't know what to do Dia...

"I just contacted Fenrir." Diaphanous told Enertro. "I must give him his memories back, or he will destroy the entire world at this rate."

Fenrir... I am going to restore all his memories. He will have to take it from there. Please keep watch over him. Be there for him. It is likely to be an overwhelming experience and a shock for him.

Diaphanous delved deep into Sacer's mind. She was reluctant to give him back all the memories, as she felt he would suffer greatly. However, she could not allow him to destroy everything in sight.

Slowly Diaphanous reconstructed Sacer's memory centers. All of them.
She wondered what would happen to him now.

Fenrir... I've restored all of his memories. Please help him in any way you can. He is not the vile murderer of innocents he used to be, and he cannot continue to go as he was.

Sacer was now Sacer again... with all his memories. Every last one of them.

He was stopped in mid kiss when she pulled away to figure out what to do with Sacer. When she gave him all his memories, Enertro smiled weakly.

"Do you think that was a good idea? He may try to destroy us again. If possible...do you think you may be able to change his memories? Change them so that he is allied with us? I don't want to force you to do things you don't want to do, my love, so it's alright if you don't."

Sacer fell to the ground as a vast amount of information was crammed into his head. Fenrir immediately flew over and comforted him as the warrior curled into a ball on the ground.

There were many pleasant images of Athena and then an instant flash of him murderering her over her act. He drove his fist into the ground sobbing painfully.

The wolf nudged his head into Sacer trying to console his pain. The massive blade morphed back into two katanas.

"What am I going to do now Fenrir?" Sacer pleaded removing his helmet in frustration.

"I'm not so sure the NJLU would take you in after this escapade, and I'm sure Enertro doesn't trust us anymore." The wolf responded.

"Regardless I don't want you to leave my side, the last thing I want is to become a vegetable again. I've lost my purpose." Sacer finished slumping in the ashes of the battlefield.

"Enertro, I don't want to make a decision now. Sacer has a lot of thinking to do and his memories all hitting him at once will make his brain feel as if it's exploding with information. He will have to process it. I do not know if he will join the NJLU again and try to kill us. We will have to see how his memories affect him now."

Diaphanous held Enertro close. "We'll work it out Enertro. Someone like Sacer who has been through many lives, so to speak, may not be receptive to memory changing any more. I don't know. If I didn't restore his memories, he would definitely destroy us, and anything in his way. I fear for Ferir... I seem to have lost contact with him." Diaphanous furrowed her brow.

"All we can do is wait." She smiled at Enertro. "I'm grateful to have you with me Enertro." She said with love in her eyes.

"I am going to try to contact Sacer," Diaphanous told Enertro.

Sacer... it is Diaphanous. Do not despair. You are going to be fine. I was afraid to give you your memories back. I knew that it would be very painful. Stick with Fenrir. Also, you are still a friend. Always remember that.

"Enertro, in Fenrir's mind, there was the thought of whether or not we would take him back as the NJLU would likely not. Fenrir thought we wouldn't either. He feels he has no purpose. Should we give him a chance? I cannot say what will happen for certain, however, he's killed so many in such a short time..." Diaphanous bowed her head down. "He murdered Athena as he had no memory of her. I believe... No it is... it is all my fault." Diaphanous buried her head in Enertro's chest and sobbed her eyes out. "But... I was doing it with good intention... so he could start his life over anew... Then we thought he was dead... Athena angered him with her actions, and without his memory of her, he killed her."

Diaphanous looked up. "It's true... the road to hell is paved with good intentions..."

OOC: It has been a long day. I am so tired. Sorry about getting on so late. Glad to see Sacer has his memory back. I'm changing the Robin from four to three. That is who I meant.

Raven noticed the man's quick eye change. She knew it was Morph. She connected with him telepathically and said, No one else is on the ship. Enertro and his gang all escaped. We can stay here and look for things but I doubt we will find anything.

Haze looked towards Contra. "You are becoming more of good guy everytime I meet you. I'll be in contact soon." Haze pressed three buttons. Seconds later he was on his way back up to the Watchtower.

Haze arrived in the Watchtower to see a bunch of teens dressed in tights. He smiled. "Our most trusted allies, the Teen Titans," he said while walking over to them. He held out his hand to Robin. "You know Nightwing will want to see you Tim." Static looked over to Haze and said, "Nightwing is in the labs with a picture of someone from the ship. Thinks he has a lead." Haze nodded and said, "I'll check in on him later."

James turned his head and saw the pale Quickspeed. He could tell something had happened. He reached into his mind and found out that he had a new identity Kid Flash. He had also joined the Teen Titans. Haze thought to himself, Should have joined them in the first place. The young superhero had also done something that he deeply regretted. Not wanting to break into his inner secrets Haze looked at him directly in the eye. His gray eyes sparkled and he asked, "What all happened on the ship?" Everyone locked their eyes on Arthur.

Captain Black nodded. "So you are taking your lady friend, huh? That's fine. I will explain some of the guidelines when we get to Cadmus." The helicopter hovered over Los Angelos. They landed on top of a hotel. "We will be staying here. Later on tonight I will be retrieving you and -." He looked at the female dressed in men's armor and pointed. "Her later tonight. You will have five hours to get ready. We cannot be late for this meeting. It is very important.

Black shut down the helicopter and said, "I will see you in five hours. Surely that will be enough time for y'all to do what you need to do." He smiled and winked. Black made his way to the stairs and walked down. He made his way to his room.

She waited until she was sure Haze was gone, then turned and began walking herself. Artemis had regional headquarters not too far away, and from there she could aquire a charter.

A good guy. Heh, don't you wish. That would imply I play for a team.

Beyond the massive migraine he heard a sweet voice from his subconcious, it was Diaphanous.

Thank you Dia, but even when I'm trying to redeem my sins of a previous life all I do is cause more destruction. Perhaps that is all I can do. I don't know what to do anymore, I have no reason left to live.

Looking over the mass of destruction he caused Sacer felt a burst of pride in his abilities.

If you're willing, let me become like a blade for Enertro to wield. Give me his orders for something needing destruction and I'll do it. Let me tear the world apart so Enertro may rebuild it as he sees. That is my purpose.

He looked at his blades reflecting in the setting sun as jets roared overhead. Slowly his armor shifted from a blue to a bright red.

Contact me again when Enertro has his orders. No one must know we are working together because of the destruction I've done to the American Military and his alliance with them. As far as the world is concerned, I am alone.

"What was that hesitation about Enertro? and... her..."

Then she looked at herself. "I look ridiculous in this armor Enertro. I don't believe it to be necessary at this point, do you? I would prefer to go to the meeting in my usual leather." She stated. "If you want to give me a gun or something, I'm fine with that."

Diaphanous thought for a moment. "I think they may be surprised to see what I look like without mens armor." She chuckled. "And we finally have our own room!" She grinned at Enertro.

Morph nodded, taking Raven's word on it. "Then let us be off." He replied, shedding his disguise.

OOC: Wooshaba, remember there are still a bunch of guards on the ship ;)


Enertro smiled a reasuring smile at Diaphanous, but he too was stricken by a hint of sadness at Sacer's fate. "My love, perhaps Athena may still be alive..." Enertro hoped so. He would be devasted if he lost Diaphanous, especially by his own hands.

"Come now, we have five hours to do whatever we please," he said, picking up Diaphanous and walking towards the hotel.

Surge got out after them, followed by Legion. Surge watched carefully as the couple descended to their room. He grumbled something and walked to another room with Legion.

Arthur stood their. The only people who knew where the people on the ship, Haze, Barry, and Wally. He knew that Barry and Wally would understand, but not everyone else. Maybe Impulse would, but he didn't know.

"Well when I broke onto the ship I broke into the security room to listen to the villians. The computers started to exploded. So I broke the captain's neck and gunned the other men down in cold blood. I gave them no mercy. If you want me to leave I will."

As he finished Arthur stood there. That was part of his past as Quickspeed. Now he was Kid Flash. Also he had a mission that would be part of his life forever.

Beyond the massive migraine he heard a sweet voice from his subconcious, it was Diaphanous.

Thank you Dia, but even when I'm trying to redeem my sins of a previous life all I do is cause more destruction. Perhaps that is all I can do. I don't know what to do anymore, I have no reason left to live.

"I got something from Sacer! He wants to join us and serve you Enertro!" Diaphanous relayed to him all the information she received from Sacer.

"This is indeed good news!"

Haze was suddenly hit with a strong surge of negative energy. His third eye left him on its own and went to Sacer. It showed Haze the destruction he had caused. It then showed him why this destruction happened. He saw two people. Both who recognized. Enertro and Diaphanous. They had done this to Sacer. Haze watched in horror as the armor of the warrior who had the celestial power heaven in his hand turn from blue to a deep crimson. He had turned from Hell to Heaven to Hell again.

Haze shook his head. Who would have known that the young girl who he had met while on a simple mission would lead to the destruction of this man's soul. He had to talk to Decimus. Haze tried to track down where exactly Sacer was with his mind ,but he was all over the place. It seemed like the man who was Sacer was now worse than Sacer's original enemy Alucard. Haze pinpointed where Sacer's next target would be. I'll have to cut him off before he can get any further. Maybe just maybe I can convince him that what he is doing is wrong. I know that there is still some good in Decimus. Haze looked at the Teens and said, "Tell everything to Static. I have some very important business to handle."

He walked over to the teleportation pad. He pressed two buttons. Seconds later he was at the spot Sacer would be next. Haze stood there and waited for Decimus.

"Great news indeed! I'm glad Sacer has decided to join me in my quests," He smiled at Diaphanous. "Tis a shame we can't be seen working together...but I will give him orders as soon as I can," He looked at Diaphanous in the armor and laughed.

"I never really took notice of your armor. Nonetheless, you still look beautiful in it...perhaps a little awkward, but still beautiful," he chuckled, adding a kiss to her cheeck as he carried her to their room.

Arthur stood their. The only people who knew where the people on the ship, Haze, Barry, and Wally. He knew that Barry and Wally would understand, but not everyone else. Maybe Impulse would, but he didn't know.

Haze was already gone when Arthur broke the news that he had killed an innocent person. Static looked at him with disbelief. "You know that we do not kill innocent people. He could have had a family at home. There is no way any of the previous Flashes would have done what you have done. Who gave you the right to take someone's life?" Static waited for his reply.

Sacer, I never meant to hurt you. I was trying to take away the pain for you. Diaphanous projected to Sacer. Please forgive me. She felt badly for this debacle.

Sacer, we don't need you to destroy for Enertro, but to help us beat the unjust and tyranical NJLU so as to bring more peace to the world. Not so much as tearing the world down, as preventing the NJLU from ruling it.

OOC: I forgot about the guards. Perhaps Morph and Raven can have some fun after all. ;)

Raven opened the door. As soon as she opened the door a group of guards were standing there. They all looked up at her. One shouted "GET THEM!!!" Raven quickly shut door. She looked at Morph and said "I have been wrong before." She then backed up from the door. The guards came out full blast firing at Morph and Raven. Raven hovered in the air and deflected some shots. "Azarath Metrion Zin-THOS!" Raven snatched some of the guns away from the guards.

"Enertro," Diaphanous said stoically. "Something has changed. I am getting bad mojo from all over." She frowned at this. Everything was continually changing. Can't something go smoothly for once?

Arthur knew that Barry did kill someone once. It was Professor Zoom. That was in cold blood. It was to save Iris his wife. "They were not innocent. They worked for the enemy. Something inside of me drove me to kill. It was my angry. I lost control." Arthur stared at Static then toward Impulse.

Morph interposed himself between Raven and the bullets, getting shot many times. "Would you quite that, I don't need lead in my diet, or at least not this much." He commented as he held his hand out and the slugs began falling out of his palm with a somewhat musical ring as they bounced off the deck.

OOC: Are you referring to Dia? She has had gut feelings about positive and negative things going on since the beginning. I referred to it as a sixth sense. It's just a feeling. Is that a problem?

Don't worry over it Diaphanous. I lived long enough to know that pain is inevitable and now mortal I can't waste time holding a grudge against a friend. I look forward to recieving orders, give Enertro and the crew my best.

"Fenrir I want you to stay in my mind, try to block any more of these telepaths from turning me into a carrot again. Maybe you can buy me enough time to attack back. Let in messages though." He asked.

The wolf obiediently filled his comrads mind.

"Well Enertro, I guess what's done is done, and what is being done will reveal itself sooner or later for better or worse." Diaphanous took off the goofy looking armor.

"Meanwhile, we have several hours to kill." She looked at him seductively and walked over to him.

"Enertro, I will be fine as long as we are together. I apologize for the fact that I tend to feel guilt when I fuck up or hurt a friend... I know most in your organization don't grapple with that, but for some reason, I do."

Diaphanous put her arms around Enertro's neck and kissed him slowly and passionately.

Static looked at him and said, "Did they physically threaten you or a friend?" Static also knew of the killing of Professor Zoom. Barry had to do it. It was either his wife or Zoom. Static felt that Arthur's situation didn't relate at all to Barry's decision to kill. The Justice League had forgiven Barry. Static knew that they would forgive Arthur ,too. He just need to teach the young superhero a lesson.

"Just because they worked for the enemy doesn't mean you take their lives. We are the good guys we don't handle things in that situation. We only take a life when that is completely necessary." Static looked at the other young superheroes. "I am glad that you decided to remove yourself from the NJLU. Teen Titans is probably more appropriate for you at this age." Static looked at the computer monitor and saw that there had been a massacre in Texas. He looked at Robin and said, "We are going to need you guy's help soon. Seems there is a plot to destroy the NJLU. Haze is out gathering information. Morph and Raven haven't even got back. I wonder where they are?"

[Meanwhile back on the ship]

"Morph we need to get out of here!" Raven shouted. More and more crew members kept coming. Raven decided to do a cloaking spell. "Azarath Metrion Zinthos." A black mist came up from the floor. Raven grabbed Morph and teleported them both to the deck. "Wow. That was a close one."

Then they heard the shout of a crew member. "There they are!" he shouted. At least 10 more men with guns came on the ship deck. "Here we go again." Raven dodge to the side as a shower of bullets headed towards them.

Morph blocked the bullets, before extending his arm to whack, and knock out the gun wielding guards. Getting shot was more annoying than problematic for him but he knew it would be far worse for Raven.

"No" Kid Flash ignore Static. He walked onto the teleportation pad. Remebering the two buttons that Haze pushed, he pushed them. Then he was transported to the spot. Off he went to go find the culprit.

Sacer decided it would be best to mill around in Mexico or some neutral country until the heat died off.

With Fenrir's help he arrived in a small town no more than 6 miles from the border in under a minute. He stumbled into the local tavern trying to remain in cognito but that's kind of hard with battle armor and a wolf following you.

Sitting down at a table he saw a familiar face, Haze.

"Am I really that predictable?" Sacer mused.

"I can't read Sacer. He is blocking me. This is not good. I fear he may not be our ally after all, or he would not block me. Inbound but not outbound. Well, I'll do the same." Diaphanous said to Enertro, deciding she should contact Sacer. She set her focus on his mind... telepathically she spoke to him.

Sacer, you have blocked me from reading your mind. I fear that is a bad sign. I will leave my mind open for a moment so you can read that I am sincere. Sacer, you were going through hell. I tried to erase your pain. I can't apologize enough. The intention was for you not to remember the past pain you grapple with all the time, Alucard, all of it. I've seen you go through hell and transformations like crazy. I wanted to aleviate your suffering. I was ordered to kill you. I refused. I wanted peace for you... and now you do not have peace. Am I to assume that you are no longer joining us? I guess that is the only conclusion I can come to. I will make a solemn promise to you, and you can read my mind, or Fenrir can, I should say: I will not touch your mind again. I had the best of intentions.

A terrible sadness engulfed Diaphanous and if Fenrir was reading her, he would know she was sincere.

Despite what you may think of me, I will always look on you as "friend". I also want you to know that we are not the "bad guys". The fear of the grip of the NJLU on the world is driving all of this. You saw what QS did. Murdering innocent people. Yes, I am aware you have done the same, but that was your past. You are not that person any more. Please be honest with me and tell me your plans, and what is going on with you. As a friend. I want to know if you plan on killing us... are you betraying me after you vowed to join? Please tell the truth Sacer. Because you are doing the same, I feel obligated to block you from reading my mind, however, please answer honestly. Open your mind so I can see you're telling the truth. I did it for you, friend.

Diaphanous then blocked off her mind. "Enertro, it doesn't look good. I had a one way conversation with him." Diaphanous proceeded to tell him the details of the conversation.

"I am waiting for a response from him." She told Enertro.

Sacer dipped his head and focused hard, it was tough to think with Fenrir swimming around in his head.

Diaphanous, I am sorry, but there is another "mind bender" here whom I do not want manipulating me. I was born a fighter, I trained as a soldier, I died as a knight, I was revived as a demon, and I trained as a killer so it would only make sense that I will never find peace outside of war. I have accepted my role as a knight in which to protect my King and Queen.

He focused even harder creating an image. There were two thrones; in one sat Enertro and in the other Diaphanous. By their sides were Prism, Legion, and Surge. In front of all of them knelt Sacer, blade ready to strike anyone who would dare oppose.

This is my dream, this is what I have been waiting for. Once I distance myself from Haze I will remove the wall in my mind so you can see my dream as I can. It truly is beautiful.

ooc: Sacer really didn't see what QS did. Neither did Dia. When QS killed you Dia didn't even bring it up. She shouldn't know about that death. She can't use that to her advantage if she didn't know about it.

Haze looked at him and said, "Do you mind if I get her out of your head for a minute?" Haze snapped his fingers and a bright blue aura appeared. He threw it towards Sacer. The blue glowed momentarily and then it faded. "I don't want her hearing what I am going to tell you. She is a nosy one. Would make an excellent spy. I'll release the temporary block once I leave if you want." Haze sensed Quickspeed. What the hell is he doing? Is he trying to get himself killed? Haze shook his head. "Quickspeed is on his way. Do you know him?"

OOC: I wasn't aware QS killed Sacer, I think Dia is refering to what he did to the security guards back on the ship. Like 35 pages ago.

OOC: I wasn't saying that QS had killed Sacer. I was saying that Dia and Sacer would not know of the kills that QS made on the ship so she cannot use that as a claim to get Sacer to side with her. She never wrote about finding out about Quickspeed killing the security personnel, therefore Dia never knew about it. She can't bring up something that she didn't know about.

Haze raised his eyebrow. "You weren't talking like that a couple of hours ago. You wanted to join the NJLU and defend the innocent man. Now you are destroying the innocent man." When Sacer said that he enjoyed the destruction, Haze smiled. "Everyone has that destructive mode in them. Why not use it to destroy the forces of evil. Why kill the innocent when you can use your strengths to bring them Salvation? Do you not know the meaning of your name? Holy, right. Holy means heavenly or special. You are disgracing the name that you carry by bringing hell to these innocent people. That wolf spirit inside of you is good ,but it is forever loyal to you. Why can't you return the favor and do the right thing?" Haze waited for an answer.

OOC: Wooshaba, Diaphanous witnessed the death of the crew members in the security room, and helped capture QS along with Prism and Reave. Diaphanous also has a picture from the security camera of it

Enertro undressed to his under garments as he waited for Diaphanous. He looked at himself in the mirror and flexed, smiling slightly. He was never a vain character, but after meeting his soul mate, he believed he should look good for her at all times.

Enertro had no idea how he could help her concentrate on her task, so decided he might as well get comfortable. He stood behind his love and lightly massaged her back, not sure if he was helping or hindering. He kissed down her neck as he put his arms around her waist, rubbing her stomach slowly. Stop it! You may be distracting her he thought. He continued for several more seconds before adding one final kiss and laying on the bed. Ah, how much I love her... he thought, with a smile.

OOC: She did? I didn't catch that. Did she catch him telepathically or did she actually see them? Was Reave also a witness to the crime or was it just Diaphanous.

OOC:She caught him in the act lol. I believe all 3 of them did. It was on page 22, posts 325 to 333. I can understand how you missed it, you didnt post until page 26, so you may have skimmed over all that ;)

ooc: i'll check over it. If Reave did see it i'll shut up about it.

ooc:OK. They didn't exactly witness the killing. What they saw was the aftereffects. After QS killed the captain, Reave busted in the room. Dia automatically assumed that QS was the murderer. Got ya. I like how you worked that in Hyper. Reave didn't exactly care about QS killing someone because they quickly became friends. The only one who cared was the rest of the NJLU and Dia. Perhaps Dia isn't such the bad guy we all thought? ;)

Sacer smiled and began talking. "Holy is not necessarily good, only pure. It is my divine purpose to remove mankind from this place. Truly Earth is Hell and where I have been the last 1,200 years. Thus, I would never wish that upon any human. All my kills are swift and painless; one should be so thankful as to meet their end by my blade. Lest they continue living their miserable existance."

He paused retraining his thought and continued "As for destruction, call it a means of rebuilding. Under a certain somebody's reign this earth will be turned into a paradise. Fenrir is my destined companion, my ideals are his and his are mine. We both see what is truly evil in this world. It is the guise that clouds people from seeing the truth placed there by the modern governments and reinforced by the NJLU. This is evil in its utmost entity and I will annihilate it. No one considers the angel of death a demon and no one saw the demon of salvation an angel."

Wooshaba']OOC: She did? I didn't catch that. Did she catch him telepathically or did she actually see them? Was Reave also a witness to the crime or was it just Diaphanous.

ooc: Dia was in the room fighting him and ended up winding the metal beam around QS. She witnessed all of it and then took pics of QS with the carnage for "Public Relations" reasons... to show the world the nature of the NJLU. She was there the whole time. She is the one who blew out all the computer cirucuits so QS couldn't listen in on the conversation w/the US ambassador... Reave and Prism as well.

"Enertro... Sacer just contacted me. He said he has only tuned me out because there is another mind bender in the room. I assume we can guess that would be Haze?" She looked at him and smiled.

"He is definitely with us... at least for now. We can trust him. He seems to be loyal to only us."

Diaphanous kissed Enertro... "I love you, my soul mate. Do we have some time before the meeting?" She gave him a seductive look. "I can't guarantee that we won't be interrupted by Sacer, however..." She grinned and kissed him passionately, admiring his perfect body.

Enertro smiled and returned her kiss. "I'm sure we have time," he chuckled as he pulled her on the bed, next to him.

"If Sacer is talking to Haze, it should give us plenty of time...Haze seems to be one who doesn't give up, and may blabber on to Sacer for a time," he said in between kisses.

Prism waited for awhile, then grew bored. Then he remembered. He still had the commmunicator Enertro gave him. He took it out of his pocket and turned it on. "Enertro, it's Prism. Gve me an ide of where I'm going and what I'm doing. The pilots were less than informative."

Running around all over the place Arthur finally found Haze. Sitting down he looked at the other person. He seemed familiar, but Arthur didn't know who he was. Facing the strange he put his hand out.

"Hello, I'm Kid Flash."

Arthur faced the stranger waiting for a response.

Sacer smiled shaking his hand trying to keep his identity concealed for long as possible.

"It's good to see you again Arthur." Sacer mused.
