"That would be your department." Morph replied, handing the comm device over to Raven, "And I said I was sorry." He added looking abash.

Reave chuckled shaking his hand.

"The NJLU huh? Anyway this a matter out of my hands, I'll be in my room." Reave finished politely bowing to the man and Surge.

Walking through the hallway he ran into Prism and nodded hoping to spring a conersation. Reave had already made an ass out of himself at dinner so he needed to make up for it.

Raven looked at Morph and said ,"It's no big deal." She then focused herself on the monitor. "When I arrived Gold Medallion and Morph were engaged in a fight with a man named Prism and Enertro. I saw Diaphanous take Enertro away. I think she made have traded sides." The Haze added in "I was afraid of that. I tried to contact her earlier but she blocked off her mind." Raven continued ,"Then the man, Decimus or Reave released the demon Fenrir. He has been missing for years. That must be where he is. In Reave's arm. We tried to capture him but he got away. A dmampir named Athena helped us but she disappeared. I fear the demon got to her. I think Gold Medallion was slaughtered by Prism." Raven looked to Morph and said "You got anything you want to add."

"That covers it, but Quickspeed showed up did a little fighting, and disappeared somewhere." Morph added

Wooshaba']The Ambassador finally gave up. He yelled ,"Are you going to do it or not." He was in a state of panic. His job was at risk if he didn't get her to join the Russian assault. "We can give you more money."
"Calm down, comrade.."

She fixed him with a deathly patient grin. That same grin that had won her the trust of Superman and the others. That cunningly crafted look of false comfort. That everything would be alright. Not unlike the smile a mother gave her child before a shot at the doctor's office, only adapted for a woman in her late 20's addressing other adults. Specifically the males.

"I signed your paper, didn't I? Now I suggest you burn it before someone finds it who should not."

And with that, she turned to the door. Beneath that seemingly calm surface she had very little patience for the hasty and the incompetant. Unfortunately this line of work brought her in close proximity to both. She merely accepted the fact and took it as an exercise of self-control.

The door opened for her as she approached, but in the doorway she stopped and addressed the ambassador over her shoulder.

"Pleasure doing business with you."

And then she was gone. Before entering the street, she removed the cowl once more, ditching her coat. The items she'd lifted from the theif earlier, she transferred to a pocket of the fashionable jean jacket she wore beneath the trench. As she ambled down the street, she wondered who was still around she might contact about the job.

Reave walked throughout the hallways all night unable to sleep, lost in thought.

NJLU? Hah, I'll cut them down too. My path to Alucard is paved in the blood of Enertro's enemies. When Alucard strikes me down I'll have a smile on my face just to piss him off. My destiny is set again. Protect Enertro and Diapanous, slaughter all who oppose, and fall to Alucard. After that it's in the hands of god and I think I have a good idea what lies after that.

A big smile crossed his face as he began humming "Jesus Walks" by Kanye West.

Alucard, I know I can't defeat you, or even put up a reasonable fight. I am not afraid anymore though, you've taken it all from me where else do I have to run?

"Follow me, Secretary," said Surge as he turned away and walked down into the carrier, to a conference room.

The guards in next to the doorway saluted when Surge walked by.

"Get Enertro," he said to one of the guards, who responded with a "Yes Sir!" and walked away.

After another euphoric and heavenly love making session, Diaphanous lay satisfied in Enertro's arms. "Just think... we have the entire night ahead of us." She smiled and kissed him passionately.

Diaphanous was so content in Enertro's arms. "I love you so much, Enertro... words cannot describe my love for you." She sighed and smiled.

Reave spent a good portion of his time outside on the ship staring into the night sky. It was perfect, so peaceful, even inside his head Fenrir hadn't spoke in a while. Not an incline of horrid monster's great anger reverberated through Reave's mind.

This is how life should be

Reave lit another cigerette and looked at it puzzeled.

"Why do I even smoke these things?" He mused before chucking it off the bow of the ship.

Prism followed Surge. He was interested with what the ambassador had to say. Hell, if the government was getting in to this, it must be big.

The Ambassador and his five men filed into the conference room. Each of the men wore a special earpiece that kept there minds from being read. The US's technology had really stepped up. Jones turned around and asked "When will I get to meet Enertro. We had a really long flight."

Reave wanted to follow the file of men but relized it wasn't any of his concern.

Looks pretty official, like the things politicians get involved with

He lit another cigerette just to watch it burn.

"Not too long...May we get you any refreshments? Drinks? Food?" asked Surge, growing impatient. Enertro never made it back to dinner...and I can guess what he's doing... He looked around at the Guards and saw some earpiece that seemed like communication pieces, but upon further inspection, they had a slightly different design...definetly something to look into.

Surge began to grow a tad nervous, even though his guards around were plenty, he could safely assume these were highly trained U.S Soldiers. Not something to contend with...

Legion made his way to the conference room and saw Reave milling about.
"Reave, you may join us if you wish," he said with a small smile. "Perhaps this meeting may help us all develop a plan in which to reach our goals easier."

"My sweet, now it is you who flatter me!" chuckled Enertro. He kissed Diaphanous on the head. "I cannot imagine me spending the rest of my life without you." Enertro smiled and kissed her several more times. "I am so glad that-"

A knock on the door again. "Master Enertro, the Secretary of the United States is here to see you, and Surge requests your audience immediately."

"-So glad that we have the night together..." Enertro sighed. He kissed Diaphanous passionately one more time and got up. He quickly got dressed in another formal suit, minus a cape this time. "Diaphanous, I would love for you to join me in this venture," He smiled at his lover. "Maybe you can read some minds for me?"

Quickspeed decided to stop at a island Alantic Ocean. He wanted to see where the heck the Enertro base was located. Getting up he was going to search around Brazil. The villians got away in helicopters so the must of not gotten that far away. Then he started to run. He ran back near the area were the battle was fought. Making his way onto the ocean he found a ship. Quickspeed slowed down a little bit and walked up the side. Then he completed stopped onboard. Looking around he saw a guard. Running again he punched the guard a bunch a time. Pulling him inside and into a empty room he stole the guard's uniform. The guard was then hidden in the vents. His other uniform was underneath and the mask pulled down and hidden by the guard's uniform. The guard's uniform was just alittle too big for him. Making his way out of the room Quickspeed decided to find his way to the security room. He started to walk off.

She had a safehouse nearby. Cautiously, Contra stepped inside and stashed away her prize from earlier today. So the Russians wanted her help.. something struck her as humerous about that, and she couldn't resist a smile. Quickly, she changed into her usual uniform, while thinking through the usual lists for who might be prowling in search of some fun. No one came readily to mind. All her aquiantances were either otherwise engaged or were picked up during the split. Not that she had amything to do with the latter...

The only viable option was to stir things up and see who came sniffing around. That decided, she slid on her gloves as her grin turned to a sly and cunning smirk. She left her safehouse through clandestin means.

During her time in stasis after her disasterous role in the split, she had picked up a few new tricks. The most interesting of which being the use of telekinesis to levitate herself. She had practiced the skill until it mimicked flight, though stability and control could only be maintained in specific conditions. Her cape billowed behind her as she floated down the street in this manner, drawing frightened and confused looks from random passers-by on the streets of Gotham.

On the corner ahead, she spotted it. Diamonds International. One of the Catwoman's favorite hits when it came to easy money. She had always harboured a healthy respect and even admiration for that woman, so the location for her purposes seemed fitting. With a backhanding motion, every glass pane in the building shattered, terrifying both workers and patrons while eliciting screams from all directions. Approaching the store, she toyed with anyone unfortunate enough to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Alarms wailed in the background, their pitch and rhythm steady despite the chaos it denoted. There now. That ought to bring some attention.

Reave was caught off guard by Legion's request.

"Thank you, I'll do my best to remain out of the way."

Reave entered the conference room keeping his twisted arm out of sight. Quietly he politely bowed to everyone before sitting down.

Nightwing got up from his seat in front of the desk. He hadn't been in the Watchtower in a long time. He was usually in Bludhaven or at the Hall of Justice. He walked down the hallway to the conference room. This was where the original seven left the NJLU in his hands. He along with Terry and Coren were supposed to run the League. Nightwing thought to himself Good and bad memories here.

"Ahhhh... Why is it I had a feeling you wouldn't have a whole night without any interruption." Diaphanous smiled at him and kissed him. "You have too much responsibility for your own good, Enertro," she teased him.

Diaphanous was intrigued. What could a nation such as the U.S. want with Enertro? "I would be honored to join you in this conference." She smiled happily. Finally, I can perhaps be of some help.

She looked at Enertro earnestly. "I will read as many minds as I can. I think, this situation may call for some caution," she added.

Diaphanous dressed in her usual leather, minus the cape, as it was a warm evening.

"Enertro, my love? Is there someplace I can go to shop for some other clothing?" She asked looking up at him smiling...

Diaphanous looked stunning... she loosened the lacing on the front of her halter, showing more cleavage. "Who knows? Maybe this might distract one of them so I will have an easier time with my powers." She chuckled a bit. "What do you think Enertro?" She asked seductively.

"Remember, after the business, there is always more pleasure." Diaphanous kissed him passionately then backed away. "I don't want to get too worked up." She grinned.

"As soon as you want, we can take off, just you and me, and buy you anything you want," Enertro smiled as he watched his soul mate. "But I don't know if there is anything that can match your beauty."

When she loosened the lacing on her halter, he let out a small gasp. "I think...That I may get distracted myself," his knees nearly buckled under him when she kissed him passionately. "I may need Legion to keep the others away from you."

He laughed at her last comment. "The quicker the better then..."

He opened the door and let Diaphanous walk out first. He closely followed while the guards led the way.

Diaphanous blushed a bit when he commented on her beauty. "Thank you Enertro. By the way," she added, "I hope you're not one of those men who cannot stand to go shopping with a woman!" She grinned wryly. "You know... a man who goes to a department store and stares at the TV while the woman shops." Diaphanous laughed.

Responding to his other comment: "You're silly sometimes Enertro! I'm not that distracting... I just want to get their minds a little jarred, however, maybe no one will even look." She added.

"You're so very sweet, my love." Diaphanous smiled, eyes sparkling with pure love.

Enertro opened the door and motioned for Diaphanous to go first while he followed. Both were led by a guard.

This should prove to be interesting...

Reave watched attentively as Diaphanous and Enertro entered the room.

Holy hell! Do you think she could be any more revealing.

He noticed the representatives trying to avoid looking at the wrong areas by looking away all together.

Reave shot a smile to the pair hoping to make amends for his outbursts at the dinner earlier. This time it was actually genuine, untainted by mischeivous motives and subplots created by the now silent Fenrir.

Enertro merely chuckled at the thought of him being "the man who goes to department stores and stares at the tv while the woman shops..." He hasn't gone shopping for a long time...in fact, now that he thought about it, he wasn't sure if he would get arrested if he tried.

Legion stood next to Surge and kept a stern look on his face as he addressed the Secretary. "Greetings, I am General Legion. Enertro should be here quite soon. Last time I heard he was-"

His jaw dropped as Diaphanous entered the room. He looked back at the Secretary. "He's here."

General Surge watched the couple enter, and unknownly fiddling with his hands. He cleared his throat several times and made a slight bow to Diaphanous as she passed. Seeing his master, he bowed slightly lower to him.

"Not that distracting, hmmm?" whispered Enertro do Diaphanous, giving a slight wink. As he passed he noticed Reave smiling. Enertro gave back a small smile and made a slight nod. He did the same when he noticed Prism in the room as well.

"Greetings Mr. Secretary. I am Enertro, leader of this organization. Welcome to my humble Carrier. To what do I owe the pleasure?" Enertro asked, showing little emotion and keeping a straight face.

Prism saw everyone drooling over Diaphanous. He shook his head. Fools. She was obviously manipulating them. Prism, however, was not so easily manipulated. Even the ambassador. Prism was never a ladies man. He had been in love once, but she was killed by his enemies. So he made sure he never fell in love again.

Reave leaned over to Prism and whispered.

"50$ says one of the first things that ambassador says is going to be boobs."

Reave had been with unimaginable number of women. Over the course of 1,200 years he also had an unimaginable number of children too. However, Reave outlived even his great great great grandkids. Satisfying his sinful lusts had become boring even in the wildest of bedrooms by the 1900s and sins of the flesh had more or less become a long forgotten thing of the past.

Prism laughed out loud. He didn't care if anyone heard him. Reave was right. The ambassador was not well trained, from what he saw, because he was falling for some girl who was like a siren, drawing him into his inevitable demise.

Making his way around the ship he needed to find the security room. Quickspeed wasn't going to make any contact with the guards. While walking he heard about someone visiting Enertro. He wondered who. Quickspeed needed to access a computer to find a map of this ship.

Diaphanous nodded to everyone as she entered the room. The first thing she noticed, was that something was different about Reave. She could feel a 'change in aura' so to speak. Reave is in control now! In addition, his motives have changed! Diaphanous was pleasantly surprised. She smiled widely at Reave, hoping he would understand that she knew about the change. Then she caught what he said to Prism and gave him a rude look.

She did not spend much time reading his mind, as there were others minds that were more pressing. Prism, you jerk. She thought.

Diaphanous tried to read the Secretary. I can't! She tried the others from the US. I can't read them either! They must have done something to prevent any telepathy. she surmised, disappointed.

Diaphanous gave Enertro a look that would communicate that something wasn't right. These men cannot be trusted.

I will figure it out, and I WILL get the Secretary's mind... Damn straight.

Making his way to the stairwell he found a map. He decided to go to the closest security room. Getting close he needed to get the men out of their. He had the perfect idea. Gotting quickly down the hallway he knocked on the door of the security room. He looked around for any guards, but watched the door.

The Ambassador was just about to say something when a lady with barely any clothes on walked in. Some guy in a red suit walked in too ,but the Ambassador's attentions was all on the mysterious vixen. Jones was about to stand up when something that happens to men happened. Jones sat down very quickly and greeted the female and the man. Blood rushed from his midsection to his face. He could tell that some of his guards had seen what had happened. They were all snickering. Jones turned around and whispered harshly ,"Be quiet." From his seat Jones greeted the pair. "I take it that you are Enertro. Who is this fine female that has come along with you." He stuck out his hand.

"This is Diaphanous," He said slowly, with one eyebrow cocked. He noticed Diaphanous's look and behind his back, he made some hand signals in a battle language he and Surge developed when they were children. "Something is wrong...keep ready," he signaled. He wasn't sure if it was just something wrong with her telepathy or if she detected some motives already.

"I see you have met my fellows already," he nodded to all the others in the room. "What is it the United States wants me for?"

The guards outside the security room were laughing as they watched with interest what was going on in the conference room. They were especially admiring a certain, top view of a certain someone...

"Don't watch, imbeciles! If Enertro finds out, he'll kill us!" shouted the officer in charge. The door knocked and he motioned for several guards to open it...

Reave didn't trust these guys, not in the least.

If Fenrir were human he'd be in their shape. Politicians, ambassadors, they're all the same. They defeat people without throwing a single punch, they annihilate entire cultures without lifting a finger, more improtantly they use people like me to do their dirty work.

Hah! If I were human...

However this was not in my hands, this was Enertro's conference. Reave was only attending because he was tired of wandering around the ship. Especially since Fenrir has gone quiet it's been rather lonely.

As they opened the door Quickspeed moved and ran. The guards opening the doors he punched one in the face and kicked the another one. He was going to do this until they were all knocked. Once he was done the guards were knocked out and the door shut. Quickspeed then went up the officer. Then he pointed the pistol at his head.

"Don't turn around and put your hands up! Then tell the men to come out now."

It seemed that Reave didn't notice her look of trust. Diaphanous did her best to get his attention and somehow project that she knew he had changed.

Diaphanous very subtly telekinetically pulled on the collar of his shirt in her direction, hoping he would notice.

As far as the problem of Diaphanous being unable to read the US representatives' minds, she looked around the room casually and noticed Surge looking suspiciously at the devices in their ears.

The devices must be blocking my powers. Even Surge looks like he doesn't trust them.

"Aw. . . you're a man who likes to get down to businness. I like that," replied the ambassador. Jones pulled a folder out of his briefcase. Inside the folder there was contract about what the President wanted. Then Jones began to explain. "The United States of America ,along with other world superpowers have decided that the NJLU has too much power and has too much influence. We wanted this termites exterminated. We want you ,Enertro to lead the USA's team against the NJLU. You will meet with the other the leaders of the other nations soon. I am sure you have heard of the imfamous Contra. She is heading up the Russian team. She nearly destroyed the NJLU herself. She does not plan to fail. I think that you along with some other freedom fighters will be perfect to obliterate the NJLU. The USA is willing to pay you top dollar for your services. All you need to do is sign on the dotted line." The Ambassador pulled a pen out of his pocket and put it on top of the contract. He flashed a smile to try and ensure the man in front of him into signing the contract.

Enertro took the contract and looked at it. Inwardly he was smiling greatly. Hah! Finally, making it legal to exterminate them... He looked at the Ambassador, making sure not to show any emotion.

Enertro looked at Surge and the others to see if they had anything to say. He noticed both Surge and Diaphanous looking at the ears of the delegation.

" Yes, I do know of Contra. She was quite a villain...Ambassador, exactly how much are we talking? And who will be on this USA Team?"

The Guard Captain had his hands over his head. "Everyone, come out now. Do as he says..." he said calmly. But he looked anything but calm. He began to sweat. "Who are you? How did you get here?"

"Tell your men to tie up the men I knocked out with anything you can find. If I find one of your men near the computer there brains will be blown out. I want you to help me with in the security room once we are tie up the rest of the men. Also what is your name?" Quickspeed pointed his gun toward the guard captain.

Diaphanous finally stood up.

"Enertro, may I speak with you outside for a moment?" She smiled at everyone in the room.

"Of course. Please excuse me for a short while," said Enertro politely. He walked out the door and waited for Diaphanous.

"Captain Smith, is my name," replied the guard officer as he signaled his men to tie up the knocked out guards.

Once the knocked up guards were tied up, Quickspeed tied up the remaining men all execept for Smith. He motion Smith to get into the security room. Then to sit down a the chair beside another chair. Sitting down Quickspeed looked at the views from the different cameras. Looking at one Quickspeed motioned to the one with all the people on it including that demon.

"Sit down Smith. Also what is happening in that room?"

Diaphanous and Enertro exited the room.

She whispered very quietly from a safe distance: "Enertro... I just want you to know I don't trust them. Somehow they are blocking my telepathy." Diaphanous had a stern look on her face.

"Perhaps you should sign the contract and go along with it, get what you can out of it, but I think we should be very careful." She suggested to Enertro. "My love, I won't let anyone hurt us... not when we've finally found each other." She looked lovingly into his eyes.

"We can go back in now, I suppose." She wanted to hold him so badly right now.

"Oh! Remind me to tell you later... I have some good news about Reave!"

Diaphanous then gave him a very seductive look. "We still have the rest of the night... remember..." She grinned.

He listened with great interest as Diaphanous told him her feelings on this matter. "I love you Diaphanous. I'm glad you're on my team."

"All night...I can't wait," he grinned and lightly kissed her on the cheek.

"Ambassador, I would still like to know who is on the USA team and how much I will be paid."

"They are...playing a game..." lied Captain Smith, as he sat down in the chair. He wished he hadn't left the sound on...

OOC: Not so sure that's a good idea, Hype, darling.

Scowling, the mayhem in the streets had become tiresome. All she had managed to attract was the attention of the local smokies and a few hoods. Nothing all that interesting. The police she dispatched quickly, leaving the punks to loot the store at their leisure. Even the civilian ragdolls had lost their appeal. Really she was disappointed. Had the Gotham police really relied on Batman so heavily? Even now they still seemed incapable of dealing with her type, as if some crucial asset were missing.

She lowered herself to the street and gave little attention to the scene she had created. Stepping over a few limp forms, she ambled down the center of the street. Clearly this would require rather bold action on her part for this contract to bear any fruit. Perhaps she should pay a little visit to the Watchtower.

ooc: I see what he's going for, however it's right in her abilities profile... I'm not trying to godmod...

Reave sat in his chair slowly fiddling with a pen not even paying attention to anything around him. Not the contract, not looks Diaphanous was giving him, and not even the fact something was tugging on his damn collar.

Her platninum hair was kinda like...no there is no time for such thoughts. Even Enertro reminds me of myself when I was younger. They're going to be perfect together.

Reave was visually showing signs of mourning as he thought about the life that was taken from him.

Snap out of it already! You can't let it get to you. Athena is dead and Alucard is going to use that to get to us. We may have two seperate goals but I am not going to sit idlely while you hand me to Alucard

"If you'll excuse me I am not feeling well, I'm going to head to my quarters. Good night everyone." Reave announced before bowing and leaving the room.

"Reave, I must speak to you before you retire." Diaphanous informed him. "It is important. May I stop by your room to speak with you briefly in a bit?" She asked him. "It is vital, regarding your... 'health problem'." She stated.

"Of course Diaphanous." Reave responded before turning and proceeding down the hall.

My health condition? What does she mean by that?

Reave sat on his bed stuck in an inner arguement with Fenrir.

Reave's mind went silent again, it was nice being able to control that demon now. Telling him to shutup without fear of your left arm reaching up and strangling you.

OOC: I'm glad you all changed those posts. I imagine something happened that I wouldn't have liked. Or I might have liked it. Who knows. Tell me about what was written in the OOC forum. Canadstein your character is becoming quite the vigilante, isn't he?

The secretary then said "The people who are on your team are up to you. There are two who will be picked by the government. The leader and the second-in-command. We are still deliberating a good person to be your co-pilot." He looked around the room and nodded to his chief of security. "I start off by offering you 50 million US Dollars."

"You will tell me or I will find out on my own. Either I will find out ok? So tell me or you will die!" Qucikspeed pointed the pistol at Captain Smith.

"So ------- will die!" yelled a muffled voice from not too far away.

Reave had pretty good hearing but he just assumed it was one of the guards just being overmasculine. He only got up to shut the door.

OOC: Since you're trying to stay hidden I think it would be wise if Quick avoided using exclamation points.

Diaphanous shot Enertro a look that communicated that they shouldn't agree to letting the US call the shots as to who, on Enertro's team will be used for what. She was sure he wouldn't allow such a thing. Enertro, her soulmate, was not one to be told what to do or how to do it. She also began to become enraged the more the Ambassador spoke, but kept it to herself.

What makes them think they can choose who Enertro uses? They are trying to take control of this organization already! Diaphanous was sure Enertro would see this as well. Assholes.

She also rolled her eyes for Enertro to see when the dollar amount was offerred. Enertro was savvy enough not to let the organization be ripped off, especially in light of the fact that the US is not dealing honestly here, or they wouldn't have blocked telepathy...

Diaphanous saw this situation continuing to get worse and more stifling for Enertro's organization, as the Ambassador spoke and continued to add conditions.

As Reave went to close the door he could here the negotiations still going underway.

There was a time when Reave would have butchered the diplomats and sent their bodies from whence they came. These were typical Fenrir tactics: brutal, excessive, and stupid. Yet, as the ambassador continued speaking Reave couldn't help but feel infuriated and more tempted to commit said
Tactics.

As the conference droned on, and the US began to anger her more and more, Diaphanous felt her presence unneeded anymore. Enertro and Surge were more than capable of dealing with these nefarious, reptilian... politicians. She chuckled to herself at the accuracy of referring to the lowest of the low as politicians.

Diaphanous stood up. "If you will excuse me Enertro, General, and esteemed US representatives, I believe I will look in on Reave. He appeared to be sick, and I want to make sure he is ok." She smiled and bowed to all in the room, giving Enertro a sly wink on the way out. As she walked past him, she whispered directly into his ear so that no one could hear, "I'm going to check on Reave, then be waiting in your room. Take whatever time you need. Be sure Surge is aware of the anti-telepathy devices and that the US is being deceptive. We can talk about that later."

Diaphanous sighed heavily and continued to whisper. "I sincerely hope these worms will not be on the ship overnight. I know I'm new here, but I have a sixth sense for trouble. After I check on Reave, I may have a look around. I'll be waiting for you later." A sly smile crossed her face and she bowed to him on the way out and once again smiled politely to the guests. “My pleasure meeting all of you.” that is if the word ‘pleasure’ was a synonym for ‘disgust’, she mused.

Reave... I have to talk to him. Diaphanous nodded at the guards and smiled as she exited the room and walked in the direction of Reave's room.

Not wishing to cause suspicion by any US henchmen wandering around, she slipped into Enertro's bedroom, and rendered herself invisible. Diaphanous would make the rest of the trip to Reave's room invisible. Who knows, maybe she would pick up some interesting convo... other than the guards making rude comments about my boobs, Diaphanous thought back to Prism's comment. He seems like a little brat.

Diaphanous went through the wall into the hallway, floating. This would also give her a chance to check out the ship's layout and dig up any US henchies she might run across.

She thought back to when she read Reave's mind the second time. He's committed the worst atrocities. How could anyone forgive him? Alucard killed Athena. Reave is grieving, and Fenrir is in the background for now. Diaphanous almost felt guilty that she felt badly for Reave. ...And it all started out with too much ambition and one bad decision.

Diaphanous intended to tell Reave what she knew, and that she could feel and see the change, and give him some, she almost choked on the words, 'sympathy and a shoulder to cry on.

More than anything, Reave had to know he was not alone, (and she didn't mean Fenrir), and that he had a confidant. Diaphanous didn't want him to throw his life away, however, to get rid of Alucard, perhaps there was no other way. She continued floating down the hall invisible, right through people who were in her way. They could not sense her at all. Most were just talking chitchat. Nothing to report yet.

Sliding through a wall into an empty Women's Room, she rematerialized and walked several feet to Reave's door and knocked.

Reave heard the knock at the door, sprung out of bed, and opened it. He smiled when he saw Diaphanous standing on the other side for there was the possibility that it could have been one of those diplomatic snakes.

"Please come in." Reave said politely

Before she could even sit down Reave immediately started off. "I'm very sorry for my outbursts during dinner tonight. I wasn't quite myself I guess you could say. You were right of my intentions too, they were not honorable nor loyal and it is with all honesty that all apologize for my mischief. It was only until I lost the last person close to me that I realized how wrong I was."

I've never actually apologized before.

He paused and continued. "I can promise you that as long as I am nearby no harm will come to you or Enertro. The bond you two share brought back my humanity and for that I owe you both my life."

I can't stay forever though...

"However, I can't promise you that I'll stay by you two for long because the demons of my past have finally caught up to me. The last thing I want is to have anyone else hurt because of my sins." He finished plopping onto the bed looking at the ground mournfully.

The secretary was looking around the room. He saw that when he said that the US Government would be choosing who was second-in-command under Enertro that caused some anger. "This is policy directly from the President. Every nation is doing. The government chooses the Chief Leader and the second-in-command. Like I said we can always pay you more money." He looked around hoping he could turn some of those frowns upside down.

"50 million?" chuckled Enertro. "I cannot get much done with 50 million...Why, all my equipment is worth more than that. In fact, I have no doubt that the Watchtower itself is worth four or five times that. I have done 'business' worth more than that. This ship you are sitting in costs a lot more than that. You have to do better to get our professional team to help you..."

"They are in a meeting," replied the officer, his voice slightly raised, hoping to get someone to hear him. "I don't know with who!"

The secretary nodded. What he said was true. This ship he was on probably is worth more than 50 million. "You name a price and I see that you get the check when your task is completed."

Enertro smiled and began thinking up prices. He thought about his recent thoughts and of the several others on board. They will want some of the share. "500 million. 250 million before we get this task done, and the other 250 million afterwards. And we can set foot on U.S soil with minimal media intereference and not be arrested. We will not commit any crimes, as long as we are not goaded to do so."

"And about 100 of those fancy ear pieces you have on..." chimed in Surge, a smile creeping up his face. Enertro flashed him a confused look for a second, then returned to the contract.

"And the ear pieces immediately, as well. And if this is met, your president will recieve the Justice League's heads on a silver platter. Plus, with half the cash in advance, I can buy some...equipment to make the job easier," said Enertro.

"And I must be in control. Whoever you assign to be with us must be able to follow my rules when needed," he added.

The secretary smiled. He is playing hardball. "These earpieces are worth more than this ship. We will give those to you only when necessary. We'll give 750 million if you come to the United States now. The only person you will have to report to me. I am in charge of this plan. You will run the ground work. You have to inform me of what you are going to do ,so that I may relay this back to the President." Secretary put his hands on the back of his neck.

"750 million? Now? Will I be able to take my team with me? Forgive my...inquisitiveness, but that is the nature of nearly all people considered 'villains'," replied Enertro, not sure if this would be a trap or not.

"Of course you will be able to take your men along with you. I told you that you decide who is all on your team except for the second-in-command. Other than that you have complete power over your team," replied the eager politician.

Enertro looked hard at the ambassador and finally said, "It's a deal then, as long my final request of letting my people step on American soil at any time and not get arrested...I must also ask that I take my own personal jets. They provide me with fast transportation, comfort and the other needs of mine. I would also expect to be payed a sum of the money before I complete the mission to get my equipment..."

Quickspeed looked toward Captain Smith. "If you scream or talk loud again you will get a bullet in your head okay? When they leave the ship you will come with me and tell them that I'm coming with you okay?" Then he turned back to the monitors.

Prism got up and left. He walked around for a while. He heard someone talking, someone he didn't recognize. He might need back up. He walked over to Reave's room. He knocked. "Yo, Reave, Diaphanous, I'm hearing voices, and it's not you two. I might need some backup. ither of you coming?" He wondered if Diaphanous read his mind yet. If she did, that was fine, because he had nothing to hide. He didn't hate her, just the fools who fell for her like children.

Catching a bus in her rather outlandish getup had been... interesting. Most patrons just accepted it as some sort of Gotham underground fad, and steered clear of her. For Contra, low-profile was no longer in the cards. When the bus made it clear she could go no farther, she simply commandeered a Flight For Life chopper, and ran it until the gas tank was nothing but fumes.

She smiled to herself, hooking her thumbs under her belt as she walked. A pity this was a business ordeal, or it might have actually been fun. She was certain she looked half-crazed, grinning like an idiot and ambling along under the clear sky. Not too much longer now...

A car whizzed passed, sending her cape into a frenzy beside her, but she merely laughed to herself and continued.

"Reave, I still must talk to you. I understand if you cannot come along with Prism and I. It seems something is wrong around here, other than the stupid fucks from the US being here." Diaphanous told him.

She opened the door. "Prism, I'm with you. I'm not sure about Reave, he is not well. Reave, whatever you decide, I will be back to talk to you." She smiled sadly.

She turned her attention to Prism. "Prism, let's just say I'm feeling some bad mojo..." Diaphanous had a concerned look on her face.

"I'm game." said Reave grinning wickedly flexing his demonic arm.

"Alright, let's go. Diaphanous, can you see if anyone's in here? You know, with your powers?"

"Well, I wouldn't recognize whether or not someone was a guard, but I can follow the voices, find whomever is speaking, and read their minds." Diaphanous replied.

With that, she simply vanished in front of them. She would find these people and see what was going on and get back to Prism and Reave with her info as fast as she could. She flew down the halls and through walls to reach her destination...

Diaphanous was continued following the voices and zoned in on them.

Reave's heart was beating hard, very hard. Almost like battle was approaching, in this time of excileration it was hard to keep Fenrir tame. Suddenly his left arm began getting hotter to a point were it was actually burning Reave. Slowly his mouth began to water and his fangs grew so they couldn't hide in his mouth anymore.

Come on Reave, she'll take forever, let's go forward we'll find out what's going wrong.

Reave went down the hallway crawling along the walls and ceilings at frightnening speeds. Dull thuds rang throught the hull as his claws pierced the metal corridors.

Prism watched as Reave bolted away. "Ahh, yeah Dia" he said in his mind, " we lost Reave. He's crawling on the walls now. If you can hear me, I;m going after him, to make sure no one gets hurt. Including him. Stand by, I will most likely need your help." Prism followed Reave, using the shredded walls as a way of seeing where he went.

So HunGry! WHeRe ARe THaY!!?

Suddenly Reave fell from the ceiling with a dull thud grabbing his head.

Come on Reave, control yourself. There are other people here, people who you need to protect.

Reave turned towards Prism and said "Sorry about that, I got carried away."

Diaphanous found the trouble in the security and control room. One of the NJLU had a gun to the head of the head of security, forcing him to zone in on the conference room.

She tried to zone in on Prism and Reave and became alarmed at what she was receiving. Quickly and invisibly, Diaphanous used her telekinesis to snap circuit boards and all monitors until they went dead. She then bent the gun the man held to the Head of Security. Still invisible, she flew off after Prism and Reave.

On her way back, she saw Reave coming toward her on the wall. He was not Reave anymore. Oh no! No, I thought this was over!

She then noticed Prism in the distance following Reave.

Diaphanous materialized in front of Reave. "NO REAVE! Stop! The three of us have to work together here. There is an NJLU man in the security room. We'll capture him and take him to Enertro and he can decide what to do with him."

Reave's change had upset her greatly. He was now standing right in front of her. A tear ran down Diaphanous' cheek. "No Reave," she whispered. "You are in control... think... of all the sacrifices and pain you have suffered." More tears ran down her face and she ran up to him and held him in a tight hug. "It's all going to be OK. Fenrir, just get lost. You are not needed anymore. Reave has a real friend now. Me. I'm sure I'm not the only one. You're not needed Fenrir. You've become obsolete."

Diaphanous continued to hold Reave tightly and rub his back, and try to soothe him. "Reave, I'm your friend. I see how you have changed, and I see how you have suffered. Don't let that Demon deceive you anymore."

She wondered how long it had been since anyone hugged him, or held him...

Prism was approaching, and then they would have to capture the NJLU man.

"Find anything Dia? Oh, and Reave, don't worry bout man. Your the lead man, not that whacked out demon." Prism was getting restless. He could feel a battle coming. Time to add a new trophy he said in his mind.

Reave barely recovering from his partial transformation was shocked when Diaphanous held him. It's been so long since anyone held him like this.

"I'm sorry, I let that beast in for a second and he took control." Reave said apologetic.

Unbelievable! There's battle afoot and you're rejecting me!?

I know what you want to do, what you would have done, and where you would have taken us.

I'll do whatever it takes to avoid being braught back to him, anything!

Reave broke free from Diaphanous' grip and charged into the security room scythe drawn.

Seeing the circuit boards and all monitors until they going dead and his gun bent Quickspeed got up and looked at the Captain. "Sorry for this." With his speed he cracked Captain Smith's neck before he could more. They were working with a criminal and deserved to die. Then pulling out the submachine gun he gunned down the rest of the men inside the security room.

Diaphanous reacted quickly... she rendered herself invisible, and took control of Reave's frontal lobe, making him rather numb and listless.

"Prism, burn the Scythe!" Diaphanous yelled. She also covered the entire room in darkness.

Diaphanous lowered the Serotonin, Norepinephrine and Dopamine in the brain of the NJLU man. The only result possible under such circumstances, is for the victim to drop to the floor and cry from unbearable depression.

Diaphanous looked around the room and found a heavy metal bar, once attached to the security console, and wrapped it around the NJLU intruder very tightly and bound him to a vertical bar with another metal bar. She then asked Prism to get some people and get Enertro, Legion, or Surge. This man was better kept alive for questioning... at least for now. "Call Enertro and Surge or Legion!" She yelled in desperation. The man was incapacitated in this condition. Just to be sure, she knocked him unconscious with another beam. This man will die for what he did, she thought, looking at the carnage around her.

Diaphanous raised the lights enough so that everyone could see where they were.

Prism and Diaphanous began yelling for backup.

She was sure that when the lights went up, Reave would see her tears, as much as she tried to hide it.

Enertro... I need you...

Reave saw the gunfire and hurled his Scythe at the point of origin aiming a little to the left. The chain connecting the scythe to the staff reached out like a desperate child clattering all the way past the foe and jamming into the wall.

The other hand drew a throwing knife aimed directly at the oppoenent.

Prism grabbed the scythe and lit it a blaze. He searched for something he could uses for a weapon. With the darkness, he couldn't use his light beams. He grabbed the Gold Medallion's disk and turned it into a flaming dicus of death, and hurled it at his foe.

"Leave the bastard unconscious and alive... he will be questioned. Why don't we take some pictures as well, to show the world what 'good honorable people', the NJLU are." Diaphanous knew that this would be more damaging than anything else.

She found a camera in the security room and took pictures of the carnage... BASTARDS!!!! All of them!

Reave watched amazed as Prism lit the chain and the head of the scythe mearly by grabbing the handle. Of course it engulfed his demon arm in fire but that didn't matter much.

The air was filled with projectiles and least known was that there was a gift on that throwing knife. A small little pentagram that when it struck would explode the dagger into a grenade. The guards were most likely dead already, hopefully anyway.

However, Diaphanous had acted quicker than Reave anticipated and detained the shady figure.

Reave quickly shouted "Cesse!" cancelling the effect of the pentagram on the dagger moments before it stuck into the wall.

Slowly the half demon squeezed on the trigger, tightening the chain to the head of the scythe.

"One hard yank and that blade is comnig in your direction pal, I suggest you cooperate." Reave boasted as he slowly followed his line to the enemy.

As Quickspeed fell the ground he felt something more evil then this fools. Remebering what Max Mercury had told him.

The Indians had a name for it. They called it “slow lightning,” but Jay Garrick and I have referred to it over the years as “The Black Flash.” Death has many faces.... This is just the shape it takes when it comes for speedsters.

Moving around he wanted to escape not from the people around him, but Black Flash. Then time started to slow down all around him. It came, but no one else could see it. It looked like the Flash, but it was wearing all black and had red lighting bolts. It's skin was black. Then Quickspeed started to scream.

"Get it away from me."

Then it came closer. Then time was back to normal. Looking around he was slowly weaken.

“The Black Flash is waiting for us all at the end of the race.”'

All Quickspeed saw afterwards was darkness...

"Dia, I think he's out." Prism walked up to the super hero and grabbed him. With one hand he lit fire to see. "Dia, I'll hold him, you keep him knocked out. Reave, help me bring him to Enertro. Dia, you can come to."

Diaphanous made sure his consciousness, and subconscious self stayed out, and added the effect of a brain chemistry mess that would leave him terrified as a little child... I'll throw in a few nightmares... hmmm... How about one where he and everyone he cares about are gunned down by one of his own? An evil grin spread across her face.

Reave plucked his scythe head from the wall and reconnected it to its handle. He also snatched his throwing dagger stuck into the wall afterwhich he muttered "Accure!" Reactivating the effect.

Looking down at the trapped superhero Reave almost smiled at him. Then followed a frown when he saw he wasn't moving at all.

"What did you do to him Dia?" Reave asked wondering why the once active hero was so still.

Diaphanous powers could not stop what the Manifestation of Death wanted. Inside his head Arthur was standing around in a blank room. He wasn't wearing his costume. Then Wally West, the current Flash, appeared. Wally wasn't in costume either and was walking toward him. The Black Flash appeared and killed Wally. The blood poured all over the blank room. Wally gasped for air. Arthur watched Black Flash. Wally looked up toward Arthur and started to cough up blood.

"Help me Quickspeed.."

The last came out and Wally slumped over. Arthur looked in horror. The Black Flash came forward then punched him in the face over and over. Death was toying with him.

Back in the real world Quickspeed's mouth started dripped blood. Then it started to intensify.

ooc: It doesn't make sense neurologicially that QS can see anything at all under the condition he is in. It's impossible for the brain to comprehend, even if the other guy is there.

"Better living through chemistry." Diaphanous grinned at Reave. "However, I am not making him bleed, and I don't believe he was injured in the fight."

"Seriously, he's just unconscious until I pull him out of it." She replied.

"Check this out." She held the camera in front of Prism and Reave, so they could see the pictures of the carnage done by Quickspeed.

"Perhaps I should be official PR Officer!" she chuckled. "Wait until the world sees these. "But then again... all those men were murdered by this 'peacekeeper'." She bowed her head a moment and kicked Quickspeed's unconscious body. Diaphanous sighed.

Diaphanous decided to do a quick probe of Quickspeed's mind. I don't know how he can possibly see anything, considering I disabled that part of his brain's chemistry... It is impossible to even comprehend reality under such conditions.

"The sooner we get this guy to Enertro, the better."

"What the fu-?" Reave yelled when he saw the helpless hero spewing blood.

Look at it, amazing isn't it?

Look at it! Look at the blood!

Stop Fenrir, just stop!

Reave's demon arm twitched once and his mouth began to water.

No! NO!! Not anymore!

You can't deny it! Stop fighting me!

Reave stumbled clutching his head as the stentch of blood filled his nostrils and the torment of the hero rang through his mind like a harmony.

"Get him out of here!" Reave screamed desperately

"Help!.."

Arthur looked at Black Flash. It was like looking into the eyes of death. He was getting punched by him all over. Arthur tried to move, but only could walk. Walking felt strange. Then appeared the Green Lantern, Kyle Rayner, and Green Arrow, Oliver Queen. They started to attack Black Flash. He had met the Greens when he started out. They were going to buy him some time, but Black Flash kept attacking him.

Quickspeed started to cough up massive amounts of blood. His ribs were starting to crack. Then a loud crack was made and his arm became broken.

"Prism, you get this idiot to Enertro!" Diaphanous yelled.

She grabbed Reave's shoulders knowing she wasn't safe, but she felt she had to try... "Remember Athena." She whispered to him. "Don't give Fenrir the satisfaction."

Everything was spinning to Reave. The detailed sound of that fool's ribs snapping, the luring scent of blood in the air, and the six sense of absolute suffering.

"...Athena!" A voice echoed into his head.

Athena, who is that?

No one of concern!

Inside his head Reave battled the dragon like creature again, except this time was far more fierce. Both sides tore each other apart before collapsing inside the unconcious battleground.

Reave's mind went completely silent as his body slumped over.

As Enertro was talking to the ambassador, Surge decided he needed a breather. As he walked outside, he thought he could hear someone screaming his, Legion's, and Enertro's name. He walked down the hallways, getting closer to the noise every second... Blast! The Security room! As he realized where the sounds were coming from, he ran to the Security room.

"What's going on here?" shouted Surge, his voice easily rising above the noise. The room was quite dim, but he could still make out a bleeding figure on the floor and the guards all dead around him. "Stop that mans bleeding! he yelled at everyone who could hear him, unsure as of yet who was in there. As he continued to scan the room, he noticed Prism on one side and...

"Well...what do we have here?" Surge's frown immediately curled up into a sinister smile. "Having fun with other team mates, Diaphanous?" He tsk'ed her mockingly. "Wait till Enertro sees this..."

ooc: I'm not going to continue for now when a NPC is godmodding my char's powers... because he can 'do anything he wants'.

The Black Flash was toying around with him. Now Quickspeed was coming back to normal. His bleeding stopped and he was still knocked out. Black Flash was gone for now.

"You remembered!" A strange but familiar voice called out.

Unwilling to question this new unfamilair place Decimus handed to Athena a small gift wrapped with a red bow. She smiled and flipped her long seductive platinum hair opening the present. The box seperated revealing a shiny silver cross that flickered in the afternoon sun. Decimus nodded his head asking her to remove more of the box, she did so revealing a golden band. She fell to her knees crying happily, Decimus gently grabbed her hand and knelt in front of her looking into her beautiful grey eyes.

"Will you be my wife, Athena Valenguard?" Decimus calmly asked despite his heart thundering so loud it could be heard from feet away.

Unhesistantly Athena pounced on him squeezing him tightly. "Yes!" She burst as she smiled with tears still fresh in her eyes. Decimus looked into the perfectly blue sky as a tear swelled in his eye, could the world be any better? Earlier today he had been inducted into the inner knighthood at the age of 17, only the best of warriors are even suggested for such an honor.

He paused their "celebration" and looked into her eyes and said "I'll be back tonight my dear, Cpt. Williams said there would be a raid tonight."

Athena's eyes dimmed. "A raid, will it be dangerous?" she quivered.

"No, no. It's only a warning to towns that have been suspected of unloyalty." Decimus calmly said without ever knowing that it was his town rumored of being unloyal to the king.

"That is no way to talk to a superior Officer," replied Surge calmly, still smiling his devilish grin. "But none-the-less, I will bring this...creature to a detention cell. We'll figure out what to do with him sooner or later."

Surge grabbed the body by the metal bar and half carried, half dragged the body out of the room, towards the downward stairs.

Diaphanous began to read Reave's mind... she now had the whole story in order. She began sobbing uncontrollably. "Prism, get Reave to hospital quarters if you can... When he awakens, tell him I still must speak with him."

So much drama...

Diaphanous rendered herself invisible and flew past Surge and Quickspeed to the door where Enertro was, and became visible before opening it.

The door swung open. "Enertro! We have a big problem! But we got the guy culprit... alive. An NJLU member. He killed security in the control room with a machine gun. Prism, Reave, and I got him under control."

She ran up and grabbed Enertro by the arm: "Surge is bringing the NJLU man here now." She then whispered, "I must speak to you regarding several problems... one being Surge himself. The other... Reave. He needs... help."

Reave's eyes slowly opened, he was being carried through the ship.

Enertro, had signed half his name while he was still awaiting his answer when the door suddenly swung open. Legion Immediately multiplied himself, surrounding Enertro, while knocking him to the ground. As soon as he saw Diaphanous, his cheeks brightened a bit and he called all his multiples back into himself, while muttering an apology for knocking Enertro down.

Enertro got up and regained his composure, also slightly embarassed. Diaphanous grabbed his arm, and he was about to say something when she spoke first. He listened to her attentively.

"I'm sorry Ambassador, but an urgent Situation has presented itself. Do not worry, I will be back quite soon," He nodded to the Secretary of State and walked off with Diaphanous. "What's wrong, my love?"

"Enertro... some NJLU guy got aboard ship... in the security room. He gunned down all the security in there!" Diaphanous was speaking urgently.

"Prism, Reave and I managed to contain him alive, and Surge," she said his name with disgust, her eyes flashing, "whom I refuse to call a superior officer, brought him to some detention cell."

Diaphanous grabbed ahold of Enertro... "Please hold me for a minute... " She needed to calm down.

"Enertro my love, Reave is fighting with his demon for control. He had him under control for a while, then lost it again. He is sufferring. Surge saw me speaking to Reave when he was unconscious, and will no doubt come up with some ridiculously lurid story, knowing him." She rolled her eyes.

After blurting all of that information to Enertro, she informed him with a smile, "I do believe I've got something worth more than gold here..." she said in a sing-song voice, and then showed him the pictures of the security room where Quickspeed had slaughtered all the guards, with Quickspeed contained among the bars. "PR gold." She smiled. "Wait until the world sees what their 'protectors' do!"

Diaphanous sighed. "I wish all those men didn't have to die for this..." her voice trailed off.

"All this drama tonight... you know... I just want to be with you alone. Please don't get angry at me for not getting along with Surge. He is not civil to me either. He still doesn't trust me. But I know that no matter what he tells you, you trust me, and that is all that matters." Diaphanous looked lovingly into Enertro's eyes, and kissed him.

"Do you know how much longer until you can retire for the evening?" Diaphanous asked, that sly gleam in her eye...

Reave slowly pushed himself off of Prism.

"Thank you, but I'll walk myself back to my room. It's a pride thing." Reave said explanatory.

Rather than turning toward his room Reave however made his way toward the detention cells, more specifically, Quickspeed's cell.

The guards approached him cautiously.

"Look I want to talk to the prisoner, and by talk I mean make talk." Reave said grimly flicking his scythe back and forth.

When he was disapproved Reave swiftly knocked them out and proceeded to his target.

The cell slowly opened revealing Reave standing in the light of the hallway in an otherwise pitch black cell. His eyes were glowing blood red.

"Good evening friend, my name is Reave, but you needn't know it. You won't live long enough to remember it." Reave said coldly.

"I promise you one thing, you will die when I am finished. I cannot promise you it will be quick, but be assured you will be a corpse by the end of tonight or tomorrow morning." Reave finished flexing his claw and revealing his powerful jaws while slowly approaching the detained hero.

It's about time I had a snack

Enertro held onto Diaphanous with a tight embrace. He looked down at Diaphanous and smiled as she showed him the pictures. He kissed her and laughed. "I love you so much Diaphanous. You have been so much help, even though you've been with us for less than one day! This can surely be used against the NJLU..."

"We are almost done with the agreement. I have agreed for 750 million dollars and the ability to roam America as we please. We can go shopping all you want," he laughed and picked up Diaphanous and kissed her again. "This is definitely a happy day!" He set Diaphanous back down and said, "I think i'll be out soon." he smiled as he walked towards the meeting room.

Morph made a decision to infiltrate the compound in which the bad-guy enclave dejour was resting. Unfortunately he came up against two problems the first being location of said enclave, and the other, who was there. The first problem was likely the easiest and he paged the watchtower to see if whoever had moniter duty knew, or could find out.

Finally, the Hall of Justice loomed not far ahead. And wouldn't they be surprized to see her standing on their doorstep?

The air veritably crackled around her as she swelled her telekinetic reach about herself. Calmly, she flung cars out of her path as she crossed one street after another on her single-minded journey. Stepping off the asphalt, she found herself standing somewhere she wouldn't have ever imagined venturing. The long concrete pathway stretched before her, leading directly to the Hall, heralded by all its sculpture and art.

"Come out and play.."

"Reave I remebering seeing Athena before I got on this ship." Quickspeed said weakly.

Reave paused for a moment.

What are you doing!?

"When you fighting us Athena came to find you. What connection does she have with you?" Quickspeed was starting to get curious.

Reave smiled. "You got my hopes up there, she died right after that battle at the hands of my former master."

He paused for a moment and knelt in front of Quickspeed.

"She was my love once, but it's a long story."

Reave walked away now in control of himself.

Did she die, or was it an illusion? I have to know, I have to know if she's still alive.

Before closing the cell door Reave turned and looked at the bound hero.

"Thank you sir. I'll see to it you are treated fairly."

"I know your good inside, even though their is a demon inside. The good part will come out and return. I hope one day you can see Athena once again. If you ever need my help you know where I will be okay?" Quickspeed started to choke down his tears.

Reave tried to ignore the man's words because he knew he wasn't good inside. Even without Fenrir he would still kill with pleasure, call it part of his training. His human sentiments had been dulled with a thousand years of battle. The demon inside just makes doing those things much much easier.

I have to get back to London, to where Alucard killed Athena. I need to see it for myself.

The half-demon laid the unconcious guards aside, this would take some serious explaining. However, he felt that Diaphanous would forgive him. She so quickly accepted his change even when Reave hadn't.

Why is she so trusting, I cannot even control myself?

The door to his room looked pretty blank so Reave cut a small wound pulling enough blood to write "weapon".

Quickspeed was not in a condition since his first encounter with Black Flash. A couple of his ribs were broken. His left arm was broken. Plus he had lost a lot of blood. He knew death would come back for him.

"They are blocking telepathy with those ear pieces. I would bet any earpieces they gave us would not be the same as what they have." She distrusted them completely.

"I'll be waiting for you in your quarters. This has been a long day, but a wonderful day," she kissed him passionately. "I've found my soul mate. I couldn't ask for anything more." Diaphanous smiled lovingly at Enertro.

"By the way, as I said before, don't believe all the garbage you hear from Surge. He insists he's my superior. I haven't even been given a rank, but, Enertro, I'm sorry if this angers you, but I will not follow orders given by Surge, nor will I treat him as a superior. That man is doing everything he can to separate us. I've read the guy's mind. I know what he's going to tell you."

Diaphanous continued, "I was trying to help Reave, who, by the way still concerns me," she stated looking worried. "He is unpredictable and dealing with his inner demons, no pun intended. I'm not referring to Fenrir. I have been trying to help him with this, and spoke to him while he lay unconscious on the floor. Surge said, and I quote, 'Well...what do we have here? Having fun with other team mates, Diaphanous?', and he had a nasty smile on his face. I read his mind. Surge was thinking Wait 'till Enertro sees this..." Diaphanous was disgusted.

"Surge is trying to tear us apart and enjoying it. He also berated me for not 'treating him like a superior officer.' I can tell you now, this will never happen." She looked at Enertro eyes flashing in anger. "I will not let that worm tear us apart." She then looked a bit apologetic. "I know you're best friends... I'm going to need you to trust me, my dear soul mate." She looked deeply in his eyes. "I love you so much Enertro."

Diaphanous sighed. "Perhaps he really thinks I am messing with you... I don't know, but I am not going to put up with this type of treatment from him.

"Enertro? May I have a military rank... and not one under Surge. I don't feel like I belong sometimes, as I am just kind of 'Enertro's lover'. I would like a rank above Surge, actually,” she said a bit cautiously. “I am capable. I don't know how you feel about this. I'm sure this request upsets you, however, when we got off the helicopter and said "Masters", including me, the more I think about it; the more I like it. You know we're strongest when we're together." Diaphanous hoped this would not seem like too much of a demand to Enertro. “I apologize if this is too much of a request.” Diaphanous looked down, uncomfortable about such a demand.

"Of course this would infuriate Surge," Diaphanous continued. "The decision is yours, of course." Her look relayed wonder at what Enertro would decide.

"Anyway, I will be waiting for you in your quarters." She gave him a seductive look and a wink. Diaphanous passionately kissed him and began to walk away. She turned and smiled at Enertro: "See you there!" She grinned.

Reave fell onto his bed hopefully for the last time tonight.

Of Enertro's plans, the man seems more focused on breaking the couple apart

Reave closed his eyes and dreamt sweet dreams for the first time in a long time.

Enertro watched as Diaphanous walked down the hallway. Oh how I love her... he thought as he sighed. The more time he spent with her, the more he couldn't leave her side. If she wants to be master, she will be master. She is, afterall, my soulmate...Although Surge won't like it, he will learn...He always does.

Enertro walked back into the room, ready to complete the signature as soon as the Ambassador accepted his terms. Hurry up...I have other matters to attend to...he thought, a small grin forming.

Reave began walking around the ship again, he could only sleep for about two hours at a time before Alucard would somehow jump into his dream. However, he had other motives other than being bored.

Surge where are you?

The half demon intended to have a nice heart to hear talk with the slimy officer.

I won't let you tear Diaphanous and Enertro apart, if I can do something right in my life let it that.

He proceeded down the hallway in nothing more than the silk pajamas he found in the bedroom.

Surge sat in his dimly lit bedroom. It was a room with fiew items, only a large banner with Enertro's insignia on it, a small desk stood against a wall next to his bed, with maps, data, and blueprints scattered on top of it and his bed, which was not nearly as luxorius as Enertro's or the others. He had a closet, with only a few articles of clothing. About enough for two weeks. Not only was his room quite spacious without all the other "unneeded" furniture, but it also included something no other rooms did. This "Unique" chair that he sat in...

It was a simple metal chair, heavy, strong, and durable. But the chair itself was nothing. Next to the chair stood two tall poles, one on each side, each with a large clear ball on top.

Surge was sitting in his chair, calmly firing a steady steam of lightning at each pole, watching the electricity course up into the ball, producing a dim glow. He loved the look of Electricity and the feel of it passing from him into each pole.

It calms me so much... thought Surge. He sighed as he slumped in his chair. A member of the NJLU has been caught, that...floozy...Diaphanous will be reported, and Enertro has made a deal of a life time...Things are looking good. He would go back to the meeting, if it was still in order, but only after he relaxed a bit. It was a long day...He smiled as he continued to formulate plan after plan after plan...

There were strange yet slightly familiar sounds coming from a nearby room. Reave was unsure but proceeded to knock on the door, call it instincts.

Making sure Enertro is kept stable, without interference

Prism walked around. Then he ran into Reave. "Whatsup man? What are you doing up?" Prism liked Reave. He could tell he was struggling though. He wanted to help him, but he didn't know how.

Reave looked at Prism and slowly said. "I want to talk to Surge, he's been wanting to divide Enertro and Diaphanous."

"Oh. Well, I'm a little bored, somI'll go with you." Prism walked silently for a little while, and then finslly asked, "If you don't mind, why do you care so much about what Enertro and Dia do in teir freetime, and if they're together or not?"

Quickspeed sat down on the ground. The metal bars were starting get annoying. He had knew that in every person a good part still existed. Even though it might be hidden. He sat back and looked at the ceiling.

"Enertro and Diaphanous remind me of something I lost a long time ago. Something taken away from me. Not to mention they are one of the few people who are nice to me." Reave said casually.

Taken away from me? No, something I threw away...

Perhaps I should have followed fate and died then and there.

"Morph I am sending you the coordinates of the shipbase. They are somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean," said the Haze to Morph. Nightwing walked back into the room. He then pressed a button so that he could communicate with Morph. "I am going to meet you and Raven down there ,okay." The Haze then asked Morph a question. "Have you heard from Quickspeed? I am sorta worried." He waited for a reply.

"As you wish, though you'll be quite conspicious." Morph replied to Nightwing, "And last I saw of Quickspeed he was heading off to enclave."

Morph shifted into the form of a eagle to fly to the coast, where he changed into a dolphin to take himself to the site sent by Haze.

Nightwing sent a message back to Morph. "Have you forgotten who I am? Or who trained me? You forget that I am the living definition of stealth." Okay Nightwing knew he had went overboard with the last statement ,but getting caught was something that did not happen to him. "Haze teleport me to somewhere near the ship. I'll meet up with Morph there." The Haze replied ,"There is a small island that you can swim to the ship from." Nightwing said ,"That's perfect." He walked over to the teleportation pad. Three seconds later he was standing on a small isle looking at Enertro's ship.

Raven used her umbrakinesis to quickly bend the photons around her to form an barrier that made her invisible. She quickly followed Morph.

After a period of flight and swimming arrived at the general area. Noting the island with Nightwing, he changed to a seagull, flew forward and landed on Nightwing's shoulder.

Surge heard the light knocking on the door and cursed under his breath.

"You may enter," he said calmly. He immediately straightened up and stopped the lightning emitting from his hands. Who could this be?

London, England

"Is my only pleasure making that puppet dance, or am I to expect such services?" Alucard words sounded so cold they sent a shiver up the spine of anyone in earshot.

"I-I-I am sorry, but there is not much we can he-help you with." Stuttered a terrified assistant of the manor.

Why did I get stuck doing this? I joined this association because I wanted to kill evil not serve them. The associate thought.

"So it is your wish to slay the monsters from hell? Allow me to fufill your dream." Alucard finished before summoning a hellspawn over 12 feet tall and weighing roughly 4 tons. The beast was mostly bone and muscel but there was some skin still clining on. In both hands the monstrocity held two gargantuan blades.

The associate stumbled back as the beast approached like a predator. The helpless human curled into a ball weapining as the juggernaut readied to strike.

"Pathetic." Alucard grunted as his hand tore through the behemoth and dissolved it almost instantly.

The poor human sprinted out of Alucard's quarters with stains running down his leg. The man passed Lucius, master of the manor, who gave Alucard an angry look.

"You keep scaring away members it's going to be only you and Athena." Lucius said.

"I was bored." Alucard said smiling wickedly.

Lucius sighed and continued. "You have a message from the English government." He shut the door.

Alucard floated into his chair where he snatched a wine glass of blood and began swirling it. The demon kept his eye on Reave, who was scurrying about on some ship in the middle of the Atlantic.

"What are you doing Reave?" Alucard asked himself. "No matter, things are still going accordingly."

Reave with the approval of Surge slowly opened the door with Prism close behind.

"We need to talk, Surge." Reave said as he entered the room.

Before Surge could even offer a greeting Reave turned and barked "It is your wish to divide Enertro and Diaphanous and this makes you my enemy. However, we both serve Enertro so I am perplexed as what to do with you. Part of you is loyal and honorable, the other part is as close to a snake as one can get without slihtering through the grass."

Reave calmed himself and finished. "I suggest you stay out of their business before you become and impedence for Enertro and I'll do what any loyal man would." His grin revealed one of his large fangs.

Surge kept his calm and steepled his fingers. "Reave...you do know that I am Enertro's best friend? You do know that I am his best friend and most trusted comrade? I am looking out for the health and safety of Enertro and this organization. Whether you like it or not, I will not have anyone endanger my comrade."

Reave's smile dropped.

Hmm perhaps he is after Enertro's best interest, but certainly not Dia's

"You see Diaphanous as a threat, I see her as the only one keeping Enertro stable. I will not have anyone threaten the stability of this organization." Reave said while raising his demonic arm letting his claws shine in what little light there was.

It felt like one of those old cowboy movies where the slightest twitch from either would permit both of them to open fire. Tension ambient and both sides unwilling to back down, it was the closest one could get to personifying the coldwar without actually renaming Reave and Surge, Soviet and America. Reave saw this and knew the last thing he would need is to explain why, on top of breaking into Quickspeed's cell, he had to injure or kill Surge.

Reave put his arm down and laughed. "My apologies, it is quite obvious who both our masters are and our loyalty to them."

He is very loyal to Enertro, there is no doubt about that, very few people have ever stood there ground in the face of a demon.

You sit on this ship playing games with these mortals while Alucard pieces together his grand scheme. Reave you fool.

"I am glad you have seen my point. Now would there be anything else to talk about?" Surge asked politely. Yes...that witch has taken you over as well hasn't she? You are being ruled by a witch and a demon...you have no idea which evil to listen to. You are merely a tool, thought Surge, a smile creeping on his face.

"Yes, I would like to know what Enertro's plans are. If he intends to conquer the world then I would like to now how as I may assist him properly." Reave responded.

There's something about him, maybe he is too loyal, like a rabid doberman. Biting anyone who gets close to his master, that will be his downfall.

"Well, what Enertro and the representative are deciding upon is 750 million dollars and the chance to roam America freely...as long as we don't cause any trouble," Surge got up from his chair and closed the door to his room. "I don't want any representative of the U.S hearing what I'm about to tell you...After we get rid of the NJLU, we will most definetly be taking over the world. And...we have the ability to do so. In Brazil, we had captives mine gold to further fund our organization. But that wasn't the main reason we went there. Brazil has some Uranium deposits around the country and we managed to get a place where both were conveniently located nearby. The Uranium will be used, as you may have guessed already, in nuclear weapons. We have the capacity to build several of them at the moment, thanks to the black market. What we can build is enough to devastate the world. This organization cannot take on the world alone. With some forced alliances, and some true alliances as well, we can have enough support to kill those who fight against us...all without any losses to us. No losses in nuclear weapons either... unless they don't believe we have the nukes," Surge was definetly smiling now. He loved the plan and couldn't wait to enact the rest of the plans. "Now I have trusted you with these plans. Don't share them to anyone. Not even Diaphanous. Being as close to Enertro as she is, I have no doubt she already knows..." Just speaking her name made him angry.

"Is that all your questions?" he finished, taking his seat back in the metal chair.

Reave smiled, the plan was solid. He had been apart of so many failed plans: Nazi Germany, Napolean, and America's conquest on the ME in the early 21st century. It seemed like he was doomed to serve under failures.

"You can trust me as it would be in my best interests that this orginization suceeds." Reave finished as he proceeded out the door. "Thank you for your cooperation Surge, you have proven yourself very reliable."

Perhaps I can trust him, but should he continue to lash out against Dia...

Diaphanous waited for Enertro to return to his quarters where she was waiting. Her best guess was that business with the US reps had gone on longer than he expected.

She was still fuming at Surge, however she decided to relax and put it out of her mind, although the fact that this pig was Enertro's best friend was upsetting to her. Diaphanous feared greatly that Surge would get to Enertro through deception.

No, that will never happen. Surge himself may try to get rid of me, but Enertro and I are soul mates. Diaphanous felt warm when she thought of the words, 'soul mates', and how she was so blessed to have found Enertro.

Diaphanous was also quite concerned about Reave. She wanted to have a talk with him, but she was getting too tired to get up and go to his room.

I will try to talk to him tomorrow. A tear ran down her face when she recalled the memories she read from Reave's mind.

Diaphanous could be nasty as anyone, however, she had a strong streak of compassion, if it was a situation she felt strongly about. Poor Reave. A few more tears ran down her face. I hope he knows he has a real friend in me.

Diaphanous decided to light some relaxing lavender candles she found scattered about the room, and get into bed. She was tired, and had no idea when Enertro would return.

The room, lit only by candle light was stunning, as if it already was not beautiful enough. After a hot bath, Diaphanous removed her clothing and got under the silk sheets.

This sure is heaven...

Alucard picked up the phone.

Good eveni-

"Get to the point!" Alucard barked.

R-right, anyway the British Parliament has agreed that the NJLU is a threat and in response we have allied with several other nations one including the United States. They themselves are hiring a group under a man named Enertro, who has what you're looking for.

A smile drew across Alucard's face "Reave."

Yes, so if you cooperate and help take down the NJLU, Reave will be handed right to you.

"I see, well then I accept the terms. Contact this Enertro and tell him I wish to see him...and Reave." Alucard finished slamming the phone onto the reciever.

Reave felt a shiver up his spine.

Athena laid "dead" in Reave's mansion where Alucard had "killed" her.

Athena, return to base, Reave is going to be handed right to us

Athena smiled as she wiped the blood from her mouth and let the hole in her stomach regenerate.

General Surge continued to slouch in his chair several minutes after Reave left. "Good riddance..." he muttered under his breath. The only good find that Enertro got was Prism...young and naive, but a good fighter. We will need to test his strategies some day to make sure he will be a good general...

Surge began to think of the NJLU member locked up in the cell. I wonder what secrets he can reveal to us... Then his mind strayed to Diaphanous. He began to wish she was locked up down there too. He still didn't trust her. And as he predicted, she was rallying up people to fight against Surge. She doesn't even treat her officers with respect...How rude...

But what if she is truly in love with Enertro. What if they are meant to be together... Surge knew Enertro answered this question already. They were in love. He sighed and decided to drop the subject. He still had no idea whether to trust Diaphanous or not. Only time will tell....

Legion yawned as the meeting continued. Boring... He thought as he stood next to Enertro. He looked at Enertro who also seemed to be bored.

Indeed Enertro wanted this meeting to end. He wanted to be closer to the love of his life.

As Enertro and the senator babbled about uninteresting things Legion began to reminiscence about the many many girls he dated... Good times, he thought as he smiled.

The lavender scent had a relaxing effect on Diaphanous, despite the fact that she had a 'hunch' that there were a lot of things not right... just that sixth sense of hers, which was usually on target.

Bad Mojo, she thought. With the candles relaxing her so completely, she easily put aside her concerns and drifted off to sleep... Enertro still had not returned...

Reave could tell something was amiss, that shiver in his spine was not natural. His instincts were rarely wrong and suddenly he smiled.

Athena, I know you're alive, you have to be and when I see you again I'll tell you everything.

Reave, how many times have you "told her everything" and she only responded by putting slugs into our ass.

We have to leave immediately

It's probably too late, at least here we can use Enertro, Diaphanous, Prism, Quickspeed, Legion, and Surge. At least we can go out with one hell of a fight.

No, i'll cooperate, no sense in sacrificing them in a futile fight.

The secretary nodded. "So you want to be able to walk freely in the US. You can do it as long as you don't go into government buildings without permission. You have a deal." The secretary handed Enertro the contract.

Enertro signed the rest of the contract. "Secretary Jones, You have yourself the Conquerors of the NJLU," he said with a smile. "Now if you don't mind, I must leave prematurely. I have another important matter to attend to. Mr. Jones, I will see you again very soon. Please keep the local airport open for me, for at most two days. I don't know how long it will take my team to pack."

Enertro nodded to the Secretary and walked away. As soon as he turned the corner, he ran to his room. Finally I can get close to my love... He thought with a smile. The guards saluted as he walked by. Enertro opened the door and noticed Diaphanous already in bed. Unsure if she was sleeping, he quietly walked to a nearby chair and took off his suit and boots. He sat there watching her. She looks so calm...she looks...angelic... He watched her as he sat back in the chair. He didn't want to wake her, so he decided he can sleep in the chair. It was certainly comfortable enough...

Legion smiled at the delegation. "Shall I escort you to the copter, or do you need any provisions before you go? Or might you want to sleep in our boat? I cannot guarentee any good rooms though."

A second helicopter, this time from the British Government, approached Enertro's ship.

*This is Majestic Fury approaching from the southwest requesting permission to land over*

*I repeat, the Majestic Fury, carrying diplomatic documentors from England is requesting to land over.*

The sound of the helicopter and the yelling outside woke Diaphanous. She looked up to see Enertro sleeping in a chair. He didn't have to do that. How sweet. Diaphanous smiled to herself.

She would have to wake him. "Enertro... Enertro... You have more diplomats in a helicopter wanting to land presently." Enertro was a little groggy but woke up. Diaphanous sat on his lap briefly, put her arms around his neck, and kissed him. She smiled at him. "What's with diplomats showing up in the middle of the night anyway?" She asked slightly joking, but thinking it was obnoxious of them to do so.

"If you have to go meet these rude people, may I come along?" Diaphanous asked. "I hate to say it, but I've had a bad feeling all day. I'd like to be by your side, my precious Enertro." She kissed him again and stood up waiting to see if he would mind if she came along.

The workers in the comm tower buzzed about like busy bees. First the United States, now the British. What next?

"Permission granted, Majestic Fury. Please land on Pad 13, next to the American helicopter. Someone will be out in a few minutes to escort you to a meeting room," replied one of the workers.

Surge was continuing his relaxation technique, when his PA system crackled to life.

"Surge, you are needed to escort some british officials to a meeting room."

Surge's concentration was broken and the balls full of energy began to shoot off electrical bolts in random directions, as if it were in coordination with his rising anger. "I'll be on it..." he grumbled. He began to walk back towards the pad, the balls losing their power as he stopped supplying it...

"As for diplomats...it makes me kind of nervous they all know where I am," he chuckled quietly, still groggy. He yawned and stood up, putting on his suit and boots. "Maybe they all want me for their team..."

He followed Diaphanous and stretched his arms, finally putting them around her and he hugged tightly. "I love you, Diaphanous."

"I love you too Enertro," she held him close. "There is a problem I talked to you about before... actually two," Diaphanous stated. She sighed. "Surge wants to get rid of me, and Reave is having some major problems. I am concerned about this meeting." She said with a worried look. "I am glad I will be beside you. I will feel better about it." She smiled at him as she dressed.

"If it was up to me, I'd deny them the authorization to land." Diaphanous half laughed, but was pretty serious. "How rude can you get? Showing up in the middle of the night... as if this couldn't wait until morning... which also makes me suspicious." Diaphanous had a bad feeling, as she had earlier. Bad Mojo.

"Enertro my love, I think extra caution may be needed here." Diaphanous walked up and held him tightly. "I guess we can go any time you are ready."

Enertro yawned again. "I'm not ready...but I have an image to keep," he chuckled again. "Don't take what Surge says personally. He wants to get rid of everyone he first meets. Like I said, he'll grow to know you all. He just requires more time than most other people...Reave...I honestly haven't a clue what to think of him. He seems loyal, confident, but he fights his inner demon, who lusts for blood all the time. The poor man's been cursed for having the power to kill just about anything..." As he thought about what he just said, Enertro realized something.We all have been cursed by powers that can kill nearly anything and everything...

"We'll be able to help him. I know it," he finally responded. "Let's go meet our british 'chaps' then..."

Enertro half walked/ half dragged his feet out the door. He then waited for Diaphanous with his hand streched out, waiting for her soft hand to join his.

Reave could feel Alucard nearby, his heart pounded in raw fear as he sat in his room.

It's over Reave, he's got you.

The Majestic Fury landed with a thud on pad number 13 and immediately stepping from the pad was a diplomat. It took some time, but a tall skinny man with pale skin and long black hair followed in suit. He held onto his red hat as not to lose it to the wind. Right behind that man was a woman, rather tall with long platinum hair and pale as well.

The diplomat ran up to Surge and formerlly shook his hand. While the man in the long red coat and the woman in grey armor looked around almost uninterested.

"You sure he's here?"
"Yeah."

The woman smiled.

Diaphanous took Enertro's hand. "Enertro, I can feel it... something is wrong here." She was more alarmed than she appeared, however her eyes couldn't hide her fear.

She changed the subject to Surge. "Surge will get used to everyone. He will not get used to me. I don't believe he will ever trust me." She said sadly. "I mean, you're going to be torn between your best friend for years, and a woman you met today." She looked into his eyes, and reminded him, "You can always trust me... we're soulmates and we're stronger together. I've never felt such love and devotion, Enertro. You are my everything." Her gaze became locked on his eyes. "You're so... beautiful, Enertro. I know that sounds strange, but I mean everything about you. I feel we are two parts of a whole, finally brought together."

Diaphanous expressed her concerns about the Brits one more time. "Enertro, I will die protecting you if I must... If I must die to protect my soul mate, my love, I have no qualms nor hesitation in doing so."

Diaphanous squeezed Enertro's hand and tried to prepare herself for what was coming.

Reave sat in his room pondering what he would do.

We can't hide forever, we might as well get it over with.

Reave slowly adorned his crimson armor and black bandana, as if he was gonig to a funeral, or battle, or both. His walk through the hallways resembled that of a man on death row.

He proceeded up the steps and held the doorhandle to the ship's deck for a full minute.

Reave...

There was a sense of sadness between Reave and Fenrir, though they fought with each other constantly over control of the vessel they still had spent 1,200 years together. Sharing thoughts, concerns, and plans. They were actually closer than brothers.

The metal door swung open creaking the whole way. First Reave saw Athena and her long platinum hair blowing in the wind and his heart skipped a beat but as the door continued to open he saw Alucard, the bane of his existance.

Enertro looked alarmed himself when he heard Diaphanous tell him how she would defend him to her death. He immediately perked up. He gazed into her beautiful eyes. "Diaphanous, I won't let you die. If there is one other person I trust enough to run this organization, it would be you. Surge would be my other choice, but he likes running the military side of things..." He hugged her tightly and kissed her passionately.

"Speaking of Surge, I must beg of you to wait and see. He will open up to you, I know it. He used to be quite a party-goer, always dating girls. I used to be the one all alone, angry at the world. Funny how we ended up. Anyways, Please trust me on this. I know he'll open up to you."

He led walked, hand in hand with Diaphanous, towards the pad.

Surge stood, still angry and slightly annoyed at the disturbance.

"Greetings, British Ambassadors...Follow me into a conference room please..." said Surge, tryin best he could to smile, but all that came up was smile that one could clearly see was forced.

The British Ambassador gladly nodded his head as he followed Surge.

Alucard looked at Reave through his orange glasses and raised his hand in a half assed wave. Athena, seeing her master, unwillingly followed. She just wanted to put a series of bullets into his skull and send him to hell, after all this was his fault she was like this.

Reave boldly walked towards both his mortal enemies and stopping within arms distance between the two.

He bowed his head and fell to a knee, Alucard put his cold hand on Reave's head. A tear fell down Reave's cheek as Athena stood frustrated.

IC- Prism waited to talk to Surge. It was obvious he still hated Dia. Prism was annoyed. Everyone around him seemed to think he was a mindless drone who was naive and foolish. He wanted to prove them wrong. And Reave was struggling under things. He felt useless. His anger built, and he blasted a hole through the wall in rage.

OOC- Sorry for not being able to post a lot, crew season started and it is all encompassing. Also, everyone, Prism isn't young and naive. He's a highly trained mercenary, and a super hero killer. Just putting that out there.

Alucard picked Reave up to his feet by palming the top of his head.

"You haven't been a very good little slave Reave, but that's no matter now, you're home."

The half-demon looked over at Athena who gave him a look back that was so cold and hateful he immediately looked back to his feet.

Nothing I say could change anything, nothing I do...

Suddenly Alucard plunged his arm straight through Reave's torso. The pain was so immense the half demon let loose what was a warbled scream. Athena took pleasure in Reave's torment and Alucard simply had a twisted look on his face as he ripped his arm out spilling Reave's blood across the ship deck.

"That is only the start of the hell I'm going to bring you, every minute you're awake, every breath you take while you sleep, I'll make sure it is a painful one. You will suffer Reave. You will think the hell I send you to is heaven after what I'm going to put you through." Alucard said coldly as he walked away with Athena right behind.

Reave began coughing up chunks of blood as the hole in his chest slowly sealed. He went to make some smart comment before Alucard turned and fired a sword through his hand impaling Reave in the neck.

"Every moment from now until you die is a moment more you will suffer."

Athena then bent over in front of Reave and stuck her face to his before gloating. "You hear that asshole? This is vindication for what you've done to me." She finished by jamming a dagger through his collarbone and trotting away with Alucard into the ship.

Reave tore the blade from his shoulder and neck in great anguish as more of his blood spewed onto the deck's surface. Gasping for breath Reave regained his composure with tears still in his eyes.

There is nothing we can do now Reave, we can only submit and beg for a lesser torture.

OOC: I think that's what defines your character though, everyone underestimates him.

Morph and Raven had just landed on the isle alongside Nightwing. The American jet had just left and a British helicopter had landed. Nightwing pulled out some binoculars and looked at the ship. Through the binoculars he saw a tall man and a female with platinum hair. Then he saw the demon creature Morph had been fighting earlier. He looked over at the bird on his shoulders and said ,"Look at this." He held the binoculars out in front of Morph.

Contra was nearly shocked speechless. Here she was, practically knocking at the NJLU's door, and not so much as the flick of a lightswitch from the Hall of Justice. Scowling, she began to doubt her little scheme. Perhaps it was truly just an auxiliary station now, left to little or no monitoring. Her anger began to bristle, whipping the little wind around her. LIfting one arm, a car parked along the street rose and hovered, then sailed for the front of the building with a similar gesture from her hand. If no one was home, perhaps she could salvage the trip with some intelligence gathering. She continued walking, closing the distance steadily.

"I'll take your word for it Enertro", Diaphanous smiled. "Let's hope Surge stops wanting me dead, for I'm sure that it how much he hates me."

Maybe some day Surge will see how deeply I love Enertro, and will begin to trust me.

Walking up to the helipad, Diaphanous saw a hole blast through the wall, with Prism following. She scanned him very quickly and was dismayed. Prism seemed to feel like her in a way. No one trusted her, and everyone underestimated him.

"Prism," Diaphanous said jokingly, "ever hear of a door?" She grinned. "Seriously, I do not underestimate you in the least. I do not think the others do either. I think you're very talented and useful and everyone will see that soon enough." Diaphanous smiled at him confidently and went ahead with Enertro.

When they reached the deck, she saw a very clear confrontation between the one she assumed was Alucard along with Athena? and Reave.

"Enertro!" Diaphanous screamed getting his attention. Diaphanous ran up to a bleeding Reave. She heard the conversation and was furious.

"You!" she yelled at Athena. "How could you?! The only thing he cares about in this world is you!" Diaphanous could hardly believe she was the same woman from the memories in Reave's mind. Athena seemed to be nothing but a cold-hearted beast.

Now she knew she was pushing it. "Alucard! Why don't you just leave Reave alone? Nothing better to do?" Diaphanous glared at Alucard and Athena.

"Athena, vengeance is not so sweet, and if you believe that, you are going to be sorely disappointed. The truth will be revealed to you in the end."

Diaphanous was furious, but felt she should hold back attacking either of them for Reave's sake. She felt he wouldn't want her to.

"Reave, are you OK?" She noticed his wounds healing quickly.

"Enertro... I knew it." She frowned. "I can always feel bad Mojo."

"Diaphanous looked up at Enertro... What do we do?" she asked him.

What Dia had said to him made him feel better. He would just have to prove himself. He walked up to Reave. "Yo, Alucard, what's your deal? If your as powerful and almight as you think you are, then why do you need Reave? And Athena, your a bitch. This guy has been torn apart by his love for you, and you betrasy him."

QS sat in his cell. He could hear what was happening, but he didn't know what was really happening. This stupid metal bars were still on him and also no one was coming. So QS knew he have to face Black Flash again, but this time in Speed Force. Against a wall he remebered the lifeless eyes and the Flash dying.

A worker inside of the Hall of Justice saw Contra coming. He ran over to the monitor and hit a switch. An invisible barrier quickly shielded the building. He then ran to a phone that had a direct link with the Watchtower. The phone rang twice and then the Haze picked up the phone. "Watchtower," he said quickly. The worker replied "We have a Code Three situation, sir. It seems that Contra is here trying to attack the Hall of Justice." Haze replied ,"I get you some help soon. You guys should be able to hold her off for the time being."

Diaphanous was pleased to hear that Prism felt the same way about the whole situation.

She yelled after Alucard and Athena, "You must really need Reave very much... both of you, or you wouldn't spend so much time on him. Really, you would just forget about him." She gave them an insidious grin. "You need him, do you not?" Diaphanous laughed evilly and shook her head. She did not even have to read their minds. "Torturing Reave will bring you little if no satisfaction in the long run. So what do you really want with him?"

She chuckled... "This isn't all about vengeance, and Athena, you should be grateful to have such a wonderful man as Reave, still, after all you've done to him, love you so much." Diaphanous glared at Athena. "You're pathetic."

Diaphanous turned her gaze to Alucard. "And you, you're just as bad... wasting your time with someone who means nothing to you? Ohhhhh..." she shook her head mockingly, "I highly doubt he's as useless to you as you like to make it seem. I think you need him for something, or you would do away with him now. Reave cares nothing about torture and both of you know that. He has been through worse than anything either of you can put him through." Diaphanous continued... "So, Brit Ambassadors," she sneered at them, "why is it that you need him? Hmmmm????"

Diaphanous knew she was treading on thin ice, but did not care one bit. These two pissed her off more than anyone she could remember did.

"I do not care about your power, Alucard, you are so pathetic, and I had to speak up. Why don't you just go to back under the rock you crawled from and do something useful." Diaphanous' eyes narrowed.

She was not watching Reave, Prism, Surge, or Enertro, therefore she had no inclination to their reaction to her outburst.

"If this is what I was woken up for... damn what a waste..."

She crossed her arms and tapped her foot on the tarmac. "Why don't you just go and let the rest of us get a good night's sleep?"

Fucking morons... they need Reave... or he would not be here now.

Alucard tipped his glasses revealing his dark red eyes staring coldly at Diaphanous and Prism.

"This Reave is my pet. When a dog runs away and you get a hold of it again you beat it to make sure it doesn't run again. He's lucky I don't take away his legs...actually that may not be such a bad idea." Alucard was so cold and heartless while Reave was struggling to recover, keeled over gasping for breath.

Athena then turned to Diaphanous and stared her down for a full minute. "Hmmm Reave's harlot?" She laughed before turning and following Alucard back into ship.

Reave finally recovered as he saw Diaphanous and Prism taking a stand against Alucard when he got to his feet he put his hands on their shoulders.

"If you know what's best you'll ignore them and me. For your own safety, just let them do what they wish to me." Reave desperately said.

The half demon was burning with rage, had he spent all this time wishing to see Athena just to be stabbed in the back? He had to wonder why she was so furious at him. Did she not know he sold his soul for her to live on?

You bitch, I swear I'm going to rip you limb from limb and Alucard...

He turned to his companions and smiled, finally some real allies.

The British ambassador had completely ignored the commotion while being lead to Enertro.

Like I give a bloody hell what that freak wants or does to that other freak. As a matter of fact, this whole ship is loaded with freaks.

Diaphanous looked at Alucard, her eyes turning solid black. "You only keep a pet if you need or like it." She sneered at him again.

"By the way, I'm not Reave's harlot, I am his friend. Of course you don't know what that is." Wind was beginning to blow around Diaphanous.

Responding to Reave, she said, "I won't see my friends treated like this."

"Athena, you're a coward... a pathetic coward. However, I see you're Alucard's slut now, huh?" She laughed at Athena. "Eww... you must be sorely desperate."

"Enertro, this British Ambassador just referred to us all as 'freaks'. Do you truly want to deal with such a snake, my love? Especially one who has those two pieces of trash working for him?" Her eyes had turned back to normal. "It may not be my place, but I think not." She whispered to Enertro, "Look what they did to one of your people. This ambassador cannot be trusted and will try to kill us all. Look at the company he keeps." she gestured in complete disgust.

"Surge may have it all together militarily, however, I have it all together when it comes to people's motives... or in this case, should I say, fucking, pathetic, past their time, deceivers, who are far weaker than they let on.

"That Athena bitch is worse than Fenrir... I beg you to send away the Brit Ambassador." She looked into Enertro's eyes pleadingly and concerned.

"Of course it is your decision, but I will not stay around for any communication with this man, considering the company he keeps. I see no loyalty there whatsoever." Diaphanous glared in disgust.

"I'm going back to your quarters, if you don't mind. I cannot tolerate this man, and if I stick around, he may not make it off the ship at all. Enertro, I love you, but I cannot stand to deal with people who would betray you and the rest of this organization. I apologize for my rudeness... I can't take this anymore."

With that, she turned around, cape flying in the wind, and stomped off. The ambassador was indeed lucky. If I had my way, I would blow him to bits.

OOC: Why is the British ambassador coming to see Enertro? Enertro works for the Americans. Shouldn't it just be Alucard and Athena there?

Alucard raised his hand stopping him and Athena in their tracks. Shortly followed he signaled for someone to follow. Reave's head ducked as he ran into line with Alucard and Athena who would more than likely spend the next few hours just beating the hell out of him.

He turned his head to Diaphanous and Prism and his mouth made the words "Thank you." before disapearing into the depths of the ship.

Alucard's slut huh? Well woman you can thank your precious Reave if I am Athena thought and smiled wickedly when she heard Reave following obediently behind them.

Diaphanous was right, Alucard did need Reave more than anything, he was paramount to the vampire lord's plans. Athena on the other hand was more or less expendable, only important in twisting Reave into his true image.

"So Reave." Alucard said while walking through the ship. "What have you been up to these last 1,000 years?" The jovial tone in his voice was obviously fake and Reave knew he was in for some rough times ahead.

Reave, fight them, we can easily kill that bitch woman and Alucard is nothing more than smoke and mirr-

Alucard snapped, spun and reach right through Reave strangling a strange disembodied ghostlike creature. It was Fenrir.

"Fenrir, you are even less of a puppet than Reave, and you are expendable. So watch your words you low demon!" Alucard barked releasing the figure as it went back into Reave.

There was a heavy panting inside Reave's mind.

OOC: The only way they could recruit Alucard was by giving him Reave who is serving under Enertro. This was basically a ploy to get Alcuard and Athena onto the ship. There will be some negotiations, but the ambassador's main goal has already been accomplished.

Morph reformed and scowled at Nightwing, "Spoilsport." He commented as he took the binoculars and looked in the indicated direction.

General Surge rarely showed emotions when people he doesnt know are around. But with the violence aboard his ship between Alucard and Reave, Surge felt shocked and even a little scared...but he didn't lose his anger or annoyance...
He lead them to a conference room, passing Legion along the way.

Prepare the troops...this will be a dangerous meeting... he signaled using the secret battle language.
Legion merely nodded to the passing group, with a small smile, showing no signs of acknowledgement. He walked off towards

Enertro watched as Reave trotted with Alucard. This angered Enertro greatly. "This meeting will be short, my love. Prism, come with me." He kissed her before she stomped away and walked towards the conference room.

Legion made his way through the ship, informing commanders and officers to get prepared for anything. In fact, many Legions wandered the ship, performing their duties. He figured if Diaphanous was not with Enertro, she would be in his room, so he walked to his room and waited in the plush seat Enertro slept in the several minutes ago. He would only wait at most ten minutes, in which he would go back to the conference room. He created several more multiples, and they silently walked to the conference room. He would create multiples until Diaphanous came back. The newer, weaker multiples would replace the older, stronger ones who were informing the commanders...

Legion hoped and prayed that this would just be a simple meeting with an exchange of words or friendship...

The British Ambassador was a good distance ahead of Alucard's little "gang" when he sat stoutly in a chair in the conference room. It was still warm, which means the American ambassador was just here, or he had eaten something at dinner he shouldn't have.

Several moments later Alucard and company filled into the seats next to the Brit. Reave looked completely miserable while Alucard and especially Athena almost look anxious for the meeting to close.

Alucard smiled at Surge and followed. "Don't worry about your men, Reave is the only person harm will come to aboard this ship. As long as they respect their boundries."

The vehicle halted mid-air, crumpling against some invisible barrier. Contra smiled despite herself. Either the defenses were working, or someone was paying attention. It was a start in either case. Motioning again, an SUV rose into the air and crunched loudly against the barrier. Scraps of metal and glass littered the neatly groomed walkway and grass. Rising a foot or so off the ground, she folded her arms across her chest, cocking her head to one side and simply waited to see what would come next, if anything.

QS sat and he wasn't bleeding anymore. Reave must of told the other people to give him mercy or they must of forgetten. Getting back up QS wondered how he felt. His ribs hurt and he fell to the ground. Never before had he felt this kind of pain.

Enertro walked in, along with several multiples of Legion. "Why have you come here?" he asked, anger creeping into his voice. Then he turned to Reave. "Who's team are you on?"

Reave sat in his chair as submissive as ever, he didn't want Alucard freaking out and hurting any of his friends.

Friends, that's a strange term.

Never had one, never needed one.

I wish I could say the same but us humans are a social species. Reliant on each other for comfort, safety, and survival. You demons on the other hand have no nature other than your self interest.

Don't go moral on me, we both learned Utilitarinism and Universalism under Kant and Hobbes. Humans just have a very primitive form of self interest.

True, maybe Alcuard's plans aren't so bad afterall

Are you insane or just clinically depressed?

Well considering I'm going to be tortured by the woman I still love and a "man" like a father to me. Not to mention I'm having an arguement with a demon in my head...so it would be both.

Reave always had a way of making Fenrir laugh. Lower Demons shared a few common characteristics with humans the main being self interest. Where as demons like Alucard held no such concept, his purpose was to fufill a duty at all costs.

Enertro's bark suddenly interrupted his train of thought.

"I am on your side Enertro, to destroy the NJLU. But the negotiations are to determain whose side more specifically I am on." Reave gently said.

The ambassador folded his hands together and proposed. "You give Reave to Alucard and in exchange Alucard helps you dismantle the NJLU, all the while under your command. Once the mission is complete you don't have to see Alucard, Athena, or Reave ever again. Also the British government is willing to offer you 500 million pounds once you comply to this exchange as well as amnesty for you and your team on British soil."

Enertro was stuck between his own greed and the loyalty to his people... He looked at Reave, looking for any sign of agreement or disagreement. He remembered what Diaphanous said, on her hunches of Alucard and Athena...

"What say you Reave? What are your wishes?" he asked, anxious to hear what Reave had to say.

One of the Legion Multiples walking around the ship walked into the prison ward and saw Quickspeed sitting there, blood on the floor.

"Hello there," said the Multiple. "Do you require medical assistance?"

"Yes I do, and who might you be?" QS replied. Blood was all over the cell's floor. There was dried blood on the metal bars and his costume.

"I am only a multiple of Legion," he said happily, opening the door and picking up Quickspeed with little effort and walking towards the hospital area with Quickspeed over his shoulder.

"Who are you?"

Reave knew that he would end up in the hands of Alucard one way or another. The vampire lord was not one to be denied.

The half demon raised his head at Enertro and nodded as a grin escaped from Alucard.

"I'm Quickspeed." As QS replied he had a little strength, but he wasn't going to use it. "Can you take off my mask?'

Enertro looked at Reave his eyebrow cocked. "Is that all the British government is willing to spare?" he asked, turned and facing the ambassador. If they were going to take Reave from him, he was going to suck Britain dry... Enertro thought. Ironic...I'm thinking this to a group of vampires and demons

"If you wish," replied the Legion multiple, as he carefully held Quicksilver around the waist and pulled off his mask. "Why do you want your mask taken off?"

"So I see the world more clearer. My mask is soaked with blood." as QS replied he could feel the cut on his face now. It stung alittle bit, but not that much.

"So what are you going to do with me?"

Diaphanous reached Enertro's room and flopped down on the bed. If Enertro uses them for anything, I fear he will end up dead... Please Enertro, don't deal with them... She thought.

What of the wonderful day that began... now turned into a hellish nightmare. Alucard has to go... somehow.

Diaphanous was nearly shaking with worry that Enertro would strike a deal with the Brits and, of course, the two monstrosities that came along with the ambassador. And what of Reave?

She hoped Enertro came back soon... Diaphanous wanted him with her now.

Diaphanous wasn't one to cry, but she cried more today than ever in her life...

The Legion multiple laughed. "I'm going to take you to the Infirmary to get hospital care. Did you think I was going to crush you in between my fingers?" He chuckled again as he continued to the hospital area.

Legion was sitting in the plush seat when Diaphanous came in. She didn't seem like she noticed him, so he stood up and cleared his throat.

"No cut the crap. I mean after the hopistal. What will Enertro and that lady do to me?"QS replied and laughed when Legion made the comment.

"Oh... Hi... Legion or one of you...", she gave him a wan smile and wiped her eyes.

"Please excuse my demeanor," Diaphanous continued, "I'm just a little... overwhelmed and angry. I fear for Enertro's life." Her eyes began to water again.

"What are you doing here anyway?" She asked him.

The Legion multiple furrowed his brow as he walked. "I can honestly say I don't know. My guess is interogate you..."

Legion was uncomfortable at the present situation, Diaphanous' crying.

"It's me. Well...erm...the real me, I mean," he said nervously chuckling.

"Well...erm...It's about Enertro actually. Surge nor Enertro trust these people, so he has...um...well he has asked all personnel to be ready for a fight. Don't worry though, there is only a small chance of this happening," He tried to smile, but all that appeared was an obvious fake smile.

"Don't worry, Enertro and Surge always have a plan for everything.

"So get me to the hospital and done with that. Then to be interrogated by your friend Enertro." QS replied.

Her name was Mazie Atsuko. To the untraind eye, she would seem just like another girl from the slums of Hong Kong. But she of course had a double life. Since Hong Kong left the British Union, things have been steadily growing worse. Crime, poverty, we're all on the rise. And the communisti Government of China didn't really have much to do about it. Still non the less, she lived her days like any average girl, school, practice, home. But by night she doned the costume, and ensured justice would prevail. She had been to numerous places where help was needed most, now she was back home. But latley she was un-easy. She began to belive someone was following her on her nightly escapades, sometimes around town during the day.

"Yeah right, my imagination." She said riding her bike. It was an old wobbly bike, much older than most. "Nice bike." Someone shouted out mockingly.

"You should see my car." She jokingly mutterd. Her car was a black slick, damn fast four-wheeled aurmor vehicle. Mazie designed it her self, much like the Batmobile. (the small version) And it could turn into the Dragon Wing, and whisk her though the air.

"Leave me alone!" A girl shouted at several punks.

"Comeone sweet-heart, show us."

Mazie stopped, and walked over.

"Hey. Leave her alone."

"Buzz of kid."

"Such big talk for such a little girl. Look I'm not really the chivilrist type, I'll take you on even if you are a..."

In a flash Mazie kicked him down. No cheap shots bellow the belt, just simple kick.

"Who's next?"

Another stepped up, she quickly beat him down. This time all coverged on her, but she quickly brushed them all down. "Get lost!"

They all ran off.

"Thank you." The Girl said.

"No problem. Some guys are jerks." Mazie replied

"Almost reminds me of The "Dragon Girl."

"Really? Isn't that just a story." Mazie asked cleverly covering her alter ego.

"No it's real. She's saved so many people. And done many great things. Taken down Corperate King Pins, Crime Bosses, Mafia Bosses."

"She must be something truly special. You be careful, you here?"

"Thanks again."

The ambassador smiled and responded. "Well if you want to play hard ball, we can simply take Reave, leave, and attack the NJLU ourselves. It would be in the best interests of our side to unite against them once and for all. Besides, Reave is quite a burden, I know of his demeanor and that only one person can control him." The ambassador shifted his eyes over to Alucard.

The sickinly pale man folllwed up the Ambassador's proposal. "Reave, or Fenrir more properly, cannot be controlled by anyone other than me and even I myself find difficulty keeping the demon tame. He is not safe, he will attack and probably kill everyone on this ship at one point in time. You don't understand what Reave is. I on the otherhand can seperate the man from the demon once and for all."

"And what happens when you separate the man from the demon? We have a demon on the loose? That is not acceptable to me."

"How about, I take my chances with Reave and you all leave. It's a win-lose situation in your favor. Reave loses control, kills me and my crew, leaving him open for you. Then, you can swoop down and take him," he said to Alucard. Then he turned to the ambassador. "And you don't have to get Britain into debt."

The Legion multiple laughed. "You are quite impatient, Quicksilver."

He had finally reached the hospital ward and set him down on a bed and took off the metal bar. Several guards chained Quicksilver's legs to the bed to keep him from escaping, if he were to escape.

"I'll try to get Enertro to talk to you soon," replied the Legion-multiple as he walked back out the door.

"I'm not concerned about a fight, Legion. As a matter of fact, I'm going to that meeting right now!" Diaphanous got up and walked purposefully to the conference room, reading minds as she went along.

That Alucard is such a piece of shit!

She arrived at the conference room, opened the door and walked in.

"I disagree with just about everything you three have said." Diaphanous stated as she stared the three down.

Diaphanous looked at Enertro and smiled. "I thought it might be important for me to be here as well, after some reconsideration."

She pulled up a chair and sat next to Enertro, rude as that may have been.

"I suggest you all come back during the day, after we've had some sleep." Diaphanous grinned at the vampires maliciously.

She whispered to Enertro, "I am sorry... they are pushing everything like they own you! I will keep my mouth shut for the rest of this meeting if you like... if I can..." Diaphanous smiled and whispered to him, "besides, I have hardly seen you all day." She looked lovingly into his eyes...

As Quickspeed sat on the bed he looked around. He had no intention of escaping. If he could escape he would try to help Reave for what he had done to him. The Keystone were the Flash Musuem was located. Something that would help Reave was located there.

Enertro smiled as Diaphanous stormed in. I'm glad you're here, my love He thought, hoping she was reading his mind as well.

Surge even smiled a bit. "If you'll excuse me, I must do something..." he said as he walked out of the room. He walked to one of the armories located in the ship and found a very small box like object. It was incrredibly sticky, but he wasn't going to take chances. He grabbed a power drill and several screws and walked purposely towards the British copter.

Surge climbed on top of the copter and drilled several holes next to the rotor. He lined the tiny box up with the holes and screwed it tightly to the helicopter. He shot a small spark of electricity at the box, and jumped off. He casually wiped off his uniform and walked back to the armory.

Now they can track this copter wherever it went. Even if they don't stop at Alucards residence, it will atleast stop in a location nearby the ambassador or Alucard. he thought, a mischevious grin on his face.

Picking up his right arm he looked at it. It was undamaged, but his left looked like a mess. Trying to pull his left arm it hurt like hell. Moving his right arm he picked up his mask. It was torn in someplaces and had some holes. Setting it down again he started to fall asleep.

Diaphanous was reading Enertro's mind and she was thankful that she was. I needed to hear that from him... She only wished that he could read her mind.

Diaphanous did feel a little guilty, as she was not following any diplomatic protocol and letting her anger get to her, however, she was not one to see her friends abused. Fuck the protocol! She thought. These meetings are so boring anyway... I swear if they try to take Reave, I'll step in... if only to bitch-slap Athena. Diaphanous smiled to herself at the thought.

"Enertro," she whispered quietly in his ear... "Is this almost over?" She jokingly rolled her eyes and said in a sing-song voice: "Borrrrrrriiiinnnng!"

Diaphanous whispered even more quietly, "Besides, we haven't had any quality time together for a while... I just want to be alone with you... even if I only fall asleep in your arms." She backed away and smiled.

Reave closed his eyes and thought as loud as he could.

Dia, I know you can hear this, please just let things fall into place. Alucard is not someone to be taken lately. Convince Enertro to go along with the plans because Alucard isn't leaving this ship without me. Therefore it would be best if you kept us on board if only to savor your time with me. Don't worry about Athena, i'll take care of her.

Alucard pushed his orange glasses against his pale skin and spoke with a more terse and frustrated tone. "Listen, if Reave kills every person on this ship then who are we left with for allies other than a brutal, maniacle, demon? You honestly think you can care for Reave better than I, The very person that put him into this condition? For Reave's sake and your own it would for the benifit of all to go with the deal."

OOC: Luporum I don't think you understand. All of the nations are on the same team. Each nation has just elected a villian to be the leader of their superpowered team. Enertro is the leader of America's team. Contra is the leader of Russia's team and Alucard should be the leader of England's team.

Dick looked over at Morph and said "What do you see?"

"What looks like an english state chopper." He replied, "Why, what do you see?"

Diaphanous listened to Reave's thoughts. This isn't right... I don't like it.

"Well, Alucard, why is it you need Reave so badly? So far your explanations have been a bunch of bullshit, and you know it. Aside from that... Reave has been chosen to work with Enertro's organization along side you and the other national leaders. It's already done. We are to bring about the demise of the NJLU... not argue as to who 'belongs' with which nation." She looked at him tersely.

"Ambassador, I see no reason why you are here either. We are aligned already. This seems like a wasted trip." Diaphanous shook her head.

"What do you think, Enertro?"

Enertro grabbed Diaphanous's hand underneath the table and squeezed gently.

Although he hated letting all that money go to waste, he decided that Diaphanous was right.

"I agree he said," he looked at Diaphanous in the eyes lovingly.

QS woke up looking around he saw his mask. It was a part of his past he wanted to forget. His right hand picked up the mask and threw it toward the ground. Looking at the mask he remembered the Black Flash. He mouth was dry but he only said two words. "The horror."

Alucard clenched his fist gritting his teeth in frustration. "Very well, these negotiations seem to be going nowhere. We'll leave."

The ambassador, Reave, and Athena turned shocked at Alucard's outburst. Had he really forfeited so easily?

"Wait a minute!" The ambassador tried to interrupt when the skin on his face overlapped his mouth.

"You've spoken enough worm. Come Athena, we'll return to London." Alucard's defeatist attitude nearly knocked Reave out of his chair.

Over the ambassador muffled yelling Alucard stopped at the doorway and shot Reave a terrifying look. "Reave?"

A tear fell from Reave's eye as he stood up and followed Alucard and Athena out the door. The ambassador, now recovered, sprinted out the door.

"Damn them! They had no right!" Diaphanous uttered after they took Reave with them.

"Enertro, I'm glad you made the choice you did. There was something very wrong with all of this... and for some reason, the", she made a face, "all powerful Aucard, can't seem to live without Reave. I find that interesting."
She pondered aloud.

"Sorry about the money thing, darling, but you have to admit, you have loads of it." She grinned at him, and jokingly elbowed him in the arm.

"So what now? Do we need more discussion, or is this meeting over?" Diaphanous asked, clearly tired of diplomacy, if you could even call it such a thing.

OOC: sorry guys if I seem off I've been really sick the last few days.

It was dark outside, too dark, almost as if the sun were about to rise. Then a smile drew across Reave's face. He stopped walking and grabbed his weapon.

Reave's scythe skimmed the ship deck, bounced perfectly, and beheaded Alucard. His body was still falling when Athena had narrowly evaded the lethal tool. She drew her guns just in time for the blade to catch them the second revolution. Metal pieces clattered against the deck while Reave slowly approached with his twisted device whirling overhead.

Alucard's head rolled at disturbing speeds towards Reave and stopped at his feet, propped itself up, smiled, and exploded knocking Reave onto his back. Through the bloody mist Alucard walked through completely reformed.

"Why would you do that Reave, I thought I was like a father to you?" The sarcastic tone in his voice was frightening on its own.

Alucard disapeared into the night sky, distracted Reave was caught by Athena's whip. He wrapped the leather tool around his demon arm and pulled Athena through the air and into the tower. A black figure swooped down piercing through Reave's stomach and reconfigured Alucard right in front of the kneeling half demon. Placing his hand onto Reave's head there was an immediate surge of energy throughout his body. His demon arm changed colors before another explosion errupted, this time it was from Reave who was now sporting a pair of massive black wings.

"You just made me mad Alucard. I won't let you hurt them." A giant smile actually tore the flesh on Reave's face before being engulfed by a familiar black energy and growing to the size of a house.

"Fenrir." Alucard grumbled.

ooc: ditto Luporium... I've been sick as well.

"Enertro! Everyone! Fenrir is loose... alone!" Diaphanous' eyes were wide.

"I have no idea what we can do. The demon will kill us all... most likely, unless someone can reintegrate them. I do hope Fenrir begins with Alucard. I don't even know if Reave is still alive, but I will try to project into his mind... and Fenrir's. I don't know what else we can do..."

Diaphanous began to concentrate as hard as she could, "Reave... It is Diaphanous. Please reintegrate if you can. Fenrir... please reintegrate with Reave... Destroy Alucard if you can. He imprisoned you, however you and Reave make a good team. It's in both of your best interests to merge if possible, especially if you cannot destroy Alucard. Alucard needs you both in one body. I believe he has no need for you separately, and he may kill you both... Think about it."

"Enertro, I talked to both of them telepathically and tried to urge them to reunite for both of their sakes, after Fenrir destroys Alucard... I don't know how much good it will do." Diaphanous sighed. "Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to go from here, before we're all dead?"

Diaphanous hung her head. "Unfortunately, I may have a better chance than the rest of you, as I can become invisible with no trace or signature..." She looked up. "However, I will fight to the death to defend each and every one of you!" She had a determined look on her face.

"Enertro, this just can't be the end!"

Fenrir flew high into the sky staring down Alucard who was standing unflinching on the deck. The five ton demon flew full speed down onto his enemy crashing through the deck and into Reave's room.

Trust me... Reave's thoughts broke through his evil shell.

Fenrir's wings wrapped against the walls as the beast had to bend over just to fit in the room. Alucard still stood unflinching as the monster reformed into Dark Reave again.

"Hey Alucard, do you know what I did for the past 1,000 years?" Reave's warbled voice barked as he placed a hand against the wall. Suddenly the room illumianted with bloodstained runes and pentagrams, the entire room. Before Alucard could escape chains errupted from the runes ripping through the vampire lord and engulfed him into flames.

The room went dark as Alucard slipped him and Reave into another realm.

"Come on Reave I trained you better than that!" Alucard's disembodied voice broke out as from the void he stepped. This new place was completely black and infinite. Alucard reapeared only 10 times the size of Reave and smiled before launching a flurry of brutal attacks. Reave, even in his demon form couldn't contend with Alucard's abilities. He fell onto his back trying to stabalize himself when the massive freak pulled out his .44 magnum from under his long red coat and with his increased size was closer to a tank shell.

"In terra pax, Reave." Alucard uttered before blowing a basketball sized hole into his student's chest. The blackness was gone and Alucard brought them back to reality. Reave was lieing on his floor with a perfect hole in his chest.

Get up Reave! GET UP! Fenrir ordered from the subconcious of his mind.

"No not just that. Use the X-Ray lense to look into the ship. Doesn't that look like Quickspeed to you," said Nightwing to Morph.

Alucard lept from the hole in the deck dragging Reave by his face. A large trail of blood stained whereever he stepped as the hole in his chest was not healing.

Athena was unconcious on a ledge outside the tower completely unaware of everything. Even the fact her skin singed in the rise of the morning sun.

If I could do anything right, it was believing in you.
I'm still with you Decimus...

Alucard felt a wake of power in Reave without warning the half dead victim snapped his arm and began fighting with vicious tenacity. The two face down each other. Alucard sensed something awakened in Reave, something terrifying, a new power?

"I'm no longer afraid of you. Not now, not ever again." Reave said defiantly drawing a sword from his hilt and pointing it at Alucard.

The sunlight began to burn the vampire's skin. The combination of Reave's noble defiance, the sun, and the army of super powered humans on the ship forced Alucard to cut his losses and run. With blinding speed the freak lept into the water and a dark oil like substance stained his path.

Reave jumped onto the ledge where Athena was burning and stared her beauty. He knelt down, carressed her hair, shielded her from the sun, and carried her inside the ship.

When he saw Diaphanous and Enertro he smiled before collapsing to the ground. The gaping void in his chest remained open. It was a miracle he could keep his feet for as long as he did.

I've only lived this long to find my purpose. It's not in the battlefield but with my friends, whom I'd die for. I'll tell them everything when I wake up, I'm just so tired...so tired..-

Both entities exhausted fell into a deep sleep.

Surge was making his way to the armory when he felt the impact of something above him. Infernal disruptions! He heard the noises coming from Reave's room and he slightly opened it, revealing Alucard and Reave battling it out.

"Infernal demons!" he yelped as he closed the door and ran to the armory. What does one use against demons? he thought frantically. A Legion-Multiple walked in the room with a similar look on his face. Half amazement and half wonder.

"What do we do?" asked Surge, looking around for something to kill atleast Alucard.

"Well, in the movies, a religious symbol was used to stop unholy things, along with holy water. Unfortunately...I'm not quite so religious, nor is Enertro..." the Legion-multiple replied, lowering his gaze in disappointment.

Surge however, was somewhat religious. Not very religious, but religious enough to wear a cross on a necklace. He pulled it out and looked at it. "I doubt this will work..." he said, looking at one of the last items he has of his family.

He ran back to the room and opened it, lightning surging through his hands, ready to blast anything with it. Legion stood next to him, ready to hold back or beat down anything that would attack Surge. Nothing was there. Surge looked up the hole and saw the blood dripping down. With a sigh of relief and annoyance, he ran to Enertro to make sure things were alright.

Enertro knelt down next to Reave and ordered the many Legion-Multiples to carry him to the hospital bay, along with Athena. Surge saw the hurried procession and walked up to Enertro and Diaphanous.

"What happened?" he asked, looking Enertro over for wounds.

"Nothing to me. Reave has stood up against his previous master and won this round," replied Enertro, his hands around Diaphanous. "I want you to lead a group of guards or Legion-Multiples to find the ambassador. He will tell us where to find Alucard."

Enertro noticed Surge's necklace handing over his uniform and smiled. "I never knew you were religious."

"I believe I have regained my faith..." was Surge's only response as he bowed and ordered some Legion-Multiples and guards to search for the british Ambassador.

The British Ambassador skulked around the ship deck trying to avoid engagement. That little skirmish between the freaks would only raise some eyebrows. He made a run for his helicopter.

The fires of a slaughter burned bright in the night sky as Decimus held his love close. The bolt in his neck slowly drained the life from him.

"What would you give to save her?" The man in red asked

"Anything!" Decimus screamed with tears in his eyes as he held Athena's cold body.

I'm not such a bad person am I? A soldier's life in exchange for a beautiful woman's. Why can't I be forgiven, haven't I suffered long enough? I shouldn't have to hurt anymore.

Reave then thought about Diaphanous, Enertro, Prism, Surge, and Legion.

Alucard swam through the depths infinitely enraged. He was humiliated by a mere half demon. This was not the end, not by a long shot, Reave was going to suffer.

The actual Legion was making his way to the upper deck of the ship when he spotted the Ambassador running towards his helicopter. With a few massive leaps he caught up to the ambassador and grabbed him by the coat.

"You're coming with me..." he growled as he slung the ambassador over his back like a sack of potatos and walked down towards the Prison Area.

When Reave came down to the hospital bay with Athena QS stared and smilied. He rose and looked at them. That was truly love. "So Reave I see you found Athena."

The ambassador eye's widened when he saw the mass known as Legion snatch him by the coat.

"I had nothing to do with that altercation!" the ambassador shouted desperately. "Like I could control that freak!"

Reave slowly opened his eyes and saw Quickspeed smiling. Reave did his best to smile back but couldn't escape the unbearable pain in his chest, slowly he started becoming delerious.

"How-how did this hole get here?" Reave asked Legion weakly. "Athena is here? Is this a dream or did I finally die?"

I don't wanna die, not when I'm so close to her.

"Hey you guys. You better help Reave before me. I'm not as bad as he is. Plus in acouple hours my wounds should be healed. Oh I never told you people this but I have a healing power that pretty much will heal my left arm and my ribs." Picking up his damaged left arm now he could pick it up. He almost felt nothing.

Reave! Reave! Come on hang in there!

I'm so tired, hey Fen tell Athena how I felt about her would ya?

Reave...

"Hey Legion, tell Diaphanous I said thanks." Reave's breath fell short and his heart ceased beating. "I was so close." His body went completely limp.

If a demon ever cried it would have been Fenrir.

Wooshaba']"No not just that. Use the X-Ray lense to look into the ship. Doesn't that look like Quickspeed to you," said Nightwing to Morph.
"Ah." He replied, "Looks sort of like him."

It was like falling in ice cold water, an empty abyss with nothing to grab, falling as if in air. The universe was a only a dot in his eyes now, a mere spec on a otherwise blank canvas. Suddenly he hit rock bottom, rising to his feet the landscape was a barren plain of solid ice extending into eternity. Above him was a single light so far away, completely unreachable. In the distance Reave saw a man sitting in a throne with Alucard at his side. Though he rushed their position they only kept getting farther away and the slower his legs carried him. Strings attahced to his arms and legs suddenly pulled on him forcing him to dance in the black sky for Alucard's and the mysterious man's amusement.

A sword from nowhere cut Reave loose from the strings, in the sky flew Fenrir who picked Reave up and carried him to the place he wanted to go. Not the light in the sky but to Alucard. When he arrived Fenrir was gone and chains split the icy ground binding Reave only feet in front of his anger's desire. Beside them both knelt Athena.

"Welcome to Hell Reave." The man said warmly. "Welcome home."

Athena slowly opened her eyes, dazed, she was seeing the ship walls pass before her. A large man held her in his arms and the same man was carrying Reave, who wasn't even showing the most basic of vitals. Her heart weak, she slipped into unconciousness again.

Diaphanous was speechless. She stayed next to Enertro. Reave... no...

"Enertro... I... What now?" she asked, wondering if she made things worse for Reave with her advice to him.

Tears welled up in her eyes and she ran back to Enertro's room. Somehow, she felt that any suffering Reave may be going through was likely partially her fault... and what of Athena?

If Athena was Enertro, under all the same conditions, I would have saved him as well. That was the bond between Diaphanous and Reave; their unending love for their soul mates... no matter what.

Diaphanous hoped Enertro would follow soon. She wanted him to hold her and felt she needed that comfort.

Reave struggled to break his chains but failed. The laughter of the man and Alcuard drove him ito a berserker frenzy and still he could not free himself. It was hopeless.

Athena slowly awakened on an infirmary cot, next to her was Reave lying still and cold.

I should be happy shouldn't I? She asked herself, eyes fixated on Reave. She noticed his blood on her armor and her skin slightly singed from the sun. You saved me, why Reave?

"You can't die! I was supposed to be the one to kill you! You can't!" She yelled in frustration as she fell to her knees sobbing grabbing his limp hand.

"Not now Reave, please, don't leave me again." Her words were broken by her gasping tears.

"I promise I'll forgive you, just don't leave me again. I don't want to be alone anymore, I don't want to be without you again. If you come back we'll run away and go back to the way things were. Remember the cliffside, we'll go back there together!"

It was useless Reave's body was growing cold the only thing keeping it from decaying was Fenrir still circulating through his mind.

"I'm sorry Reave, I was stupid to listen to Alucard."

His chains fell to the ground in tatters and the once silent Athena ran to his side. Alucard and the man now adorned cold and angry stares.

"What will you do Reave, kill us?" Asked the bearded man.

Reave looked into Athena's eyes and answered. "I don't have to fight you, nor serve you. We'll make our home where it is we go, even if it's away from you." Something pulled Reave back toward the light.

Thank you Dia...

Reave, you're alive! Fenrir yelled in his mind. It was unusual for a demon to miss a human.

I make my home where ever I choose, and I have everything I need right here.

His eyes slowly opened and he saw Athena weeping beside him. "You don't have to be alone anymore." he whispered as the hole in his chest slowly healed.

Diaphanous felt the return of Reave to his body. He's alive! She ran to the infirmary and started reading his mind. He's talking to Athena? Diaphanous began to read her mind as well.

The more she listened, the happier she became. I think... I... I think she forgave him...?!

Diaphanous burst into the infirmary weeping tears of joy. It was only because of Enertro that she understood how important it was for Reave and Athena to be together.

"Reave... thank God you're OK!" She gasped between sobs. "Athena... you finally understand." Diaphanous looked at Athena with a look of joy.

"I think you both understand now, do you not?" She asked them, as tears ran down her cheeks while she smiled at the two of them.

"I never would have understood myself had I not met Enertro... the idea of soul mates, and being stronger together than apart." Diaphanous was sniffling, and wiping her tears. "You see, I never thought there was such a thing as love like what I have experienced with Enertro... I am truly blessed," she smiled, "and now both of you are as well." She continued smiling at them. Her understanding truly only came from loving Enertro.

At the same time, Diaphanous wondered what else was going on aboard the ship, and wanted very much to be with Enertro, and help with anything going on.

Diaphanous sighed and sat down in an empty chair. She was tired. Too much drama today, but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

Reave did his best to smile but the fact his wound wasn't completely closing troubled him.

"I think I understand everything now." Reave quitely said fingering his semi-healed wound. Athena pushed herself away; caught in a half embaressed, half joyous state. She didn't want to show everyone she still felt for Reave but she couldn't deny she defined her existance off of him.

He grabbed Athena and pulled her close, there was a slight resistance before she accepted his embrace. "You understand what I'm going to have to do and I'm not sure If I'll come back." he whispered gently. She paused and responded "I understand, but stay here for a while. You have friends and me, you don't have to fight him."

"The more I run, the more destruction left in my steps. I am a prisoner to fate. If I can redeem my sins then I can forgive myself." Reave felt sick at his self pity.

"I have forgiven you, isn't that enough?" Athena said while holding him tighter.

"Yes, it will do." Reave replied immediatley and then turned to Diaphanous. "I'm going to stick with Enertro until his dreams are realized. I have both of you to thank."

It seems the closer I get to heaven, the closer hell nips at my heels.

Legion smiled wickedly as he walked into the Prison ward. "Nothing to do with this? Maybe not...But we will have use of you..." Legion set the Ambassador down in a prison cell.

"I'll be back with some company..." said Legion, as he went to search for Surge.

Enertro stood there, as Diaphanous left him alone. All the responsibilities of being the leader of an organization... he thought, adding a long sigh. It was a very long day and he was very tired, but he had obligations to fullfill.

Enertro walked to the Infirmary and saw Reave and Athena, along with Diaphanous and several of the Legion-Multiples. "I would get the surgeons to work on you quicker...but they have never operated on a demon before," he added with a little chuckle. "Will you be alright? If you require something, let me know."

Enertro turned to Quickspeed who was bound to the cot he was laying in. "As for you...You will answer several questions I have. I'm guessing you work for the NJLU...am I right? I will ask you several questions about them and you will answer with honesty..."

The ambassador sat frustrated on his cot. "We're on the same side dammit!" he shouted. "Bloody hell Reave, you couldn't just go along with the plans."

Reave smiled still playing with his wound.

Why won't it heal?

"I should be fine." Reave said leaping off the bed stretching. "I've got everything I need right here. So when do we start taking down the NJLU, I'm itching for a fight with something human for once."

Athena put her hand on his shoulder. "Maybe you should just rest for a few days, get your strength back."

She has a point Reave, Alucard just blew a hole in your chest and I'm exhausted from the fight still. Not too mention having to support your body while you were "gone"

I don't wanna spend my last few days in an infirmary

“Enertro!" Diaphanous exclaimed. She was so glad to see him and it showed.

"Enertro, do you mind if I spend the rest of the evening with you while you take care of business?" She asked. "It would help me learn more about the workings of the organization... as well as allow me some time with you. Diaphanous looked lovingly into his eyes and smiled.

She hoped he did not have too much more to take care of this evening.

"Enertro," she whispered, "I am so looking forward to having your arms around me as we sleep." Diaphanous spoke in her normal voice. "Do you have a lot left to do this evening? I would like to be there if it is all right."

Diaphanous then looked at Reave and Athena and grinned. "Reave, maybe there's a way... you know..." She looked at him with hope in her eyes.

She turned to Enertro. "Enertro?" She smiled, waiting to find out if she would spend the rest of the evening with her soul mate.

"Considering it's morning and there's a hole in my room's ceiling; might it be too much of a request to ask for a second room? As Athena here must avoid the sunlight." Reave spoke in such a soft and charming tone. Contradictory to his berserk, vicious, and unrelenting demon.

Reave was masking a great deal of pain. He was never one to seek sympathy, especially over physical wounds. Athena rested her head on his shoulder.

We can go back to the way things were. She thought as she looked into his fierce red eyes. If anything she felt with Reave it was invincible. The half demon was strong enough to slaughter thousands of demons in a single battle and stand against Alucard. She nustled her head against his neck indicating she was tired My demon angel, I'll never lose you again.

Reave felt Athena being affectionate, it's impossible to explain his mindset because he loved her beyond words. Yet, he had spent the last thousand years in a bitter grudge against her. What could he do?

His head leaned into hers as he threw his demon arm around her. Come hell itself I'll fight and die for you. Nothing will take you from me again

Fenrir, a full demon, had actually been tainted by Reave's recent feelings of love and comradry. The demon actually felt a bond with Reave and in his abscence felt helpless and out of control. Despite the beast's dreams of genocide and slaughter, there was a love felt for Reave.

I shouldn't feel this way, I shouldn't fell at all! Damn you Reave!

"My love, it would be a treat to have you along the while we take care of business," He smiled at Diaphanous and before turning back to Reave and Athena. "We could probably spare another room."

Smiling, Enertro turned to a nearby guard and ordered him to guide the two to their new room, a more spacious room than Reave's old one, but with similar decorations.

Enertro walked to Diaphanous and sat next to her, putting his arm around her.

One of the Legion Multiples spoke up. "Master, we can deal with this NJLU character ourselves. It will give you much needed rest."

Enertro smiled and looked at Diaphanous. "What do you want, my sweet?"

Diaphanous smiled at Enertro. "I would like to go back to your quarters and relax, perhaps have a glass of wine, if you have some... listen to some relaxing music, perhaps, talk, and just be together. I already lit lavender candles to relax myself earlier as I went to lie down." She explained.

"We can see where all of this takes us." Diaphanous gave him a seductive grin.

"I most definitely want to sleep with your arms around me. What a long... strange trip it's been, today." She chuckled. "Let's just be together, my darling soul mate."

Diaphanous brushed her lips lightly on his. "Does that sound like a plan?"

Reave looked over at the restrained Quickspeed and frowned.

"Make sure no harm comes to that man." He spoke tersely before following a guard to his new room. "I owe him that much."

Athena was shocked, Reave was being kind to an enemy. A few days ago he would have torn him limb from limb screaming for information. She felt light headed and fainted in Reave's arms.

What the hell?

She's a vampire Reave, she probably needs blood.

He gently lifted her in his arms and carried her back to the room. Like the honeymoon I never got.

Enertro smiled and felt the small spike of energy when she brushed her lips against his. "I love the way you think..." he whispered.

He turned to the Legion Multiples and nodded, before picking up diaphanous in his arms and carrying her to his room. He set her down gently and walked towards a large cabinet. He opened it and brought out a full bottle of wine and two glasses. "The best I could buy, for my beautiful soul mate," He grinned as he walked back to Diaphanous's side and set the glasses on the nightstand next to her.

"Finally...we can get some alone time," he chuckled as he uncorked the wine and poured some into the glasses. "Any preferences to the music, my love?"

Surge walked into the Prison ward and looked at the ambassador. "Mr. Ambassador. I see you enjoyed our company so much, you just had to stay." he chuckled a bit and sat in a wooden chair next to the bars of the Ambassador's. "Now I'm going to ask you some questions...and you WILL answer them. Get it?"

Surge chuckled again. "We'll start easy at first. Any wrong question and or no answer will cost you," he opened his unform jacket, revealing a weapons lined along the coat. Surge hummed as he fished through a pocket and pulled out two small boxes and set them on a nearby table.

"Ready to begin, ambassador?" Surge asked, adding a wicked smile.

"I'm an ambassador damn you, not a POW!" he yelled at Surge.

Reave laid Athena on the soft bed watching her platinum hair drape down so gracefully. He removed his breached armor and leaned in next to her, lining his neck with her mouth. There was a pause before a slight jolt of pain.

Should be funny, a vampire drinking half demon blood is like a dwarf drinking a handle of vodka in one sitting.

Hey you never asked. Heh heh, besides it'll be funny.

"You really do have every luxury in here, don't you." Diaphanous smiled at Enertro. "Music... something relaxing, my love. Perhaps some very mellow jazz, if that agrees with you darling." She responded, while taking off her leather and sliding under the silk.

"Oh it feels good to lie down, and these silk sheets are fabulous." Diaphanous commented.

"I don't know about you, but I am quite tired. For the moment, I would love for you to just hold me for a while... tell me your plans. I still don't know exactly what is going on after all of the chaos today." She smiled and chuckled slightly. "What a crazy day. However, I've never had a better one, Enertro."

Diaphanous kissed him passionately, the ache for him growing, even through her exhaustion.

After leaving Enertro's ship ,the Secretary of Defense made his way to New York. Their he would be meeting with various generals and ministers about the attack on the NJLU. When he arrived at the airport, Jones stood up. Aw you are the clever one aren't you Jones. He walked to the jet's exit and filed out slowly behind his guards. He first went to a hotel where he showered and prepared for the meeting. About two hours after arriving in New York, he and his guards made their way to the top level of the hotel. Already sitting around a round table were the representives of the different countries. "It took you long enough, Jones ,"said the English Minister of Defense. Jones smiled at his fellow diplomat and said ,"I was just smoothing out a few wrinkles in our plan." He turned and faced everyone else. "Is everyone ready to attack. We will have one more meeting where we will bring along the leaders of each nation's superpowered team. After that we attack. The meeting will be held tomorrow at the only place where we can hold such a meeting of this proportion. Cadmus." All of the men nodded in agreement.

When Jones got back to his room he got on the phone. First he called the President. "Mr. President we are having the meeting of the leaders tomorrow at Cadmus. I will call Enertro and let him know that he is to attend. Good-bye." He hung up the phone. He then went over to his door and locked it. He sat down and dialed Enertro's personal number. When he answered the phone the Secretary said ,"Meet me in Los Angelos tomorrow. There will be a jet coming that will hold room for three. Your second-in-command will be the pilot. I'll see you tomorrow." Jones ended the transmission. He then layed down down. He had had a long day. Within minutes he was sleep.

Nightwing looked at Morph and said ,"You know you are supposed to watch out for him. He is new. Now we have to go in and save him." Nightwing shook his head. "Damn." Raven sat there and watched. She then commented ,"I thought he was more responsible than that." Nightwing looked at his old friend and said "Me, too. I guess he wasn't ready to move up. I hope he didn't do anything drastic." Nightwing stared off at the ship trying to think of a way to get there and save his NJLU comrade.

Enertro chuckled as he put on a selection of smooth jazz and took off his clothes as well. "Being a villain has it's own rewards."

Enertro took his wine glass and raised it above them. "A toast to a chaotic, but most fortunate day!"

After taking a sip, he set it down on the nightstand next to him and wrapped his arms around Diaphanous, adding a small kiss on her nose.

"Where to start...Well, considering that by a stroke of great luck by meeting you, We will report to Los Angelus tomorrow. There, we will see if the U.S has any specific way of dealing with the NJLU."

"Now Diaphanous, I must ask you a question. I remember you said you worked for the NJLU for a short amount of time. Do you know where the NJLU reside? I believe in order to seriously hinder these terrorist operations is to destroy where their knowledge is. With no watchtower, they will have quite a hard time tracking me and terrorizing the normal people."

"After I take care of them, I will have no more use for the United States or any of the nations of the world. I will threaten them with nuclear weapons, so they won't disrupt my operations while I find other groups like mine to work under me. With the largest nations fearing my power, I will grind them into the ground with my boot...becoming the first person to unite the world."

"Now, Diaphanous, if there is anything you want to add, feel free to do it..." smiled Enertro.

She kissed him passionately and he embraced her a little tighter. "Also, while we are in the U.S...we can do a little of your shopping while we're there," he chuckled. He returned her kiss and smiled as he looked at her lovingly.

Surge tsked at the British Ambassador's comment. "Now now, ambassador...Don't use that kind of language here. There is no need to worry, as long as you answer my questions. Legion...if you will?"

Legion walked into the prison cell and grabbed the ambassador's arms and held him up, like a fisherman holds up his catch of the day. Legion pulled out a chair and set the ambassador on it. Legion used chains to bind the ambassador to the chair so he couldn't escape, and turned the chair so he faced Surge.

"Now Ambassador...how did your government find Alucard? How did it find this ship?" asked Surge as he opened one of the small black boxes, pulling out a wicked looking knife.

"Let me clarify something Enertro... I never worked for the NJLU. I was on their roster, but never did a thing for them." Diaphanous sighed with relief. "Good thing too. I can't wait to get rid of them." She grinned at Enertro.

"As far as their Watchtower... it is something of a satelite that orbits the earth. As to where, since I have never been called or transported by them, the best I can do is give you the coordinates as to where it should be at a particular time. However, to get an exact read, I would probably have to use telepathy on Haze. Unfortunately that goes both ways. If I read his mind and find his location, then he knows ours." Diaphanous frowned.

"Perhaps after a relaxing evening and some sleep I will think of more ideas, but I believe the 'usual coordinates at X time' might be the best way. I'm not sure of it's accuracy. I think getting the info from Quickspeed might be a great help." She grinned and raised an eyebrow.

Diaphanous got lost in his eyes. "I love you Enertro..."

"Yes, Quickspeed will hopefully be able to help us. If not, I think your predictions would be of use to us anyways."

Enertro smiled at Diaphanous. "I love you too, Diaphanous, more than anything." He kissed her passionately again, but didn't want to stop. He continued to kiss her around her neck and up to her mouth, but stopped himself before he could get too worked up.

"Too exhausted for another round?" he asked, half gasping. He was extremely tired himself, but he felt he could do anything for Diaphanous.

After doing nothing for a while, Prism was quite bored. Reave was alright though, and everything seemed fine. He decided to help Surge and Legion with the ambassador. After coming to were they had him he said, "Hey, need any help? I'll have you guys know, I specialize in information retreval." Prism smiled, ready for fun.

Surge looked up at the promising new general and smiled. "Of course, Prism...I would enjoy watching your techniques," he got up from his chair and let Prism take it.

"Now I want you to find out where Alucard lives and how and why the British govenment sent Alucard and this worm to us," whispered Surge to Prism. He stood back in the shadows, along with Legion as they watched the show.

Prism crouched down near the ambassador. "Whatsup, man? Your from Britain? I am to. Cambridge. Anyway, down to business. Tell me were this Alucard resides, or it might get a little hot in here." Prism grabbed the ambassador and lit a tiny fire on his shirt. "It can get bigger if you want."

The ambassador's heart raced as his shirt went ablaze. "Hey! hey! Look I don't know anything about Alucard. All I know is he would help destroy the NJLU if we found Reave for him." His voice quivered.

Reave's body froze as the two foreign fangs pressed into his neck. The pain was small but noticable as he could feel her sucking the blood right out of him. She had been doing this for a good minute or so getting more aggressive.

"Hey Athena relax a little, I can barely move." Reave said pleadingly.

A muffled voice broke from the strange noise. "That's normal."

"Enertro, I'm never too exhausted for another round with you." She smiled seductively. All the passionate kissing had Diaphanous wanting him so badly, she could be half dead and continue.

"You know Enertro," she gasped between kisses, her breathing getting heavy, per usual, as well as her heart pounding like crazy, "when you kiss me like that, I ache so badly for my soul mate, I could never say no to you." Diaphanous and Enertro were pressed together and she was massaging his perfectly muscular back with one hand, and had another around his neck as they kissed. "I feel as if I require to be one with my soul mate." She gasped to Enertro when she could. When it came to making love, they were truly intense. Very different now that I have my soul mate. She thought.

Anyone who doubted their love had to be someone who never knew love.

As the intensity escalated, the time passed by unnoticed by the couple.

There would be time for rest and sleep later...

Athena was completely knocked out from quenching her thirst on demon blood. Reave just laid next to her slowly letting his dreams conquer him.

The field was stagnant with blood, gore, and gunpowder. Suddenly the Lieutenant's whistle blew which meant it was time to go over the top and out of the trenches. They shelled the German lines heavily but an attack now would just be senseless. Unknowing to the rest of the English and French troops Reave was already rushing across no man's land like a berserker. Machine guns rattled and cut down his comrads in a brutal effeciency. Bullets hit Reave's flesh but had little or no effect. Now within 20 yards of the German trenches he let his scythe do the dirty work. A white light cut through the sandbags, dirt, and human bodies like a machete through a water melon. By the end of the battle Reave was the only one left standing, but by tomorrow there would be reinforcements to fill the dead men's shoes regardless their fates were the same. Alone at last Reave began to satisfy his sick hunger by tearing the limbs from fallen combatants and ripping them apart with his mighty jaws. A french boy stared horrified as Reave shredded through human flesh and bone like chicken. Knowing the boy might reveal his secrets Reave did what he had to do...

He snapped from his sleep in a cold sweat as Athena's arm drapped over him.

I don't deserve forgiveness. I only deserve the fate handed to me.

Contra glared at tne non-responsive Hall of Justice sitting quiet and oblivious behind its defenses while she raged, frustrated beyond all measure. Her plan was quickly unraveling into a complete disaster. Maybe it was time to call the Russian.

Her rage slowly subsiding, she turned to face up the street, activating a small communicator on her wrist. A receptionist at the embassy patched her through to the ambassador after a few honest threats and forceful insistance. When he finally picked up, she forced a sense of calm resolve into her voice. "I need some intel."

Enertro felt that even through all the drama of the day, he's had the best day of his life. Although he was relatively new to the concept of love, he seemed to be doing a fine job...

"I never want you to leave my side," he gasped. **********************************************************

Surge smiled a bit. "Don't scare him too much. Only a gradual increase in the force you use on him."

Surge went up close to Prism and whispered, "Ask him how and why the british hired Alucard. Ask him where he resides,"

After a couple hours of rest QS was fully healed. He was still a little sore. Getting up he looked at his mask. It was pretty much a copy of the Flash. Now looking at it was like looking into a horror scene. Sitting on the bed with his mask in his hand QS knew what he need to do. He was going to battle his greatest fear.

A Legion multiple stepped up to Quickspeed. "Before we set you off, you must tell us where the NJLU bases are. We would like to give them something for all the...good they've done," The Legion multiples smiled eerily.

OOC: It's Quickspeed

QS got up and turned toward Legion then put his mask back on. "I want you to let me go then destroy any records of me in the NJLU. I'm quiting from them. Also I only know where one is located the one in space. Here is are the coordinates also gave this letter to Reave when I'm gone."

QS handed Legion the letter. "So let me go now."

The British Ambassador looked shocked between the freaks. They're really going to kill me.

"I think you're asking me the wrong questions, Athena and Reave should know more than me. After all, they worked for him long enough to know."

The singe on his jacket made the ambassador realize he was going to die and betweeen the walls collapsed.

"Alucard told me Reave was a key to his plans, but before he could use him he needed the NJLU eliminated. That's all I know I swear!"

Reave walked back into the infirmary in nothing but pants and socks and sat on the cot next to Quickspeed.

There's something this man is running from, I can feel it. A dark force equivilent to Alucard, but different, something more abstract and unusual.

Reave smiled at the wounded NJLU member.

"They treating you alright?" He asked nicely.

"Yes, but I don't need any help. I can heal myself, but I'm just alittle stiff now. So how is Athena now?" Quickspeed moved around his left arm which felt strange and foreign to him.

"She's fine, just asleep back in the room. Today has been a little rough on her...rough on all of us actually." Reave laughed rubbing the sick looking wound in his torso.

"Where you going to go after this?" Reave asked

"Everywhere the wind takes me. I have to face my destiny set for all the speedsters. There is also someone I plan I meeting if he still exists or is alive at all. Oh I quit the NJLU." QS replied with a smile. He was happy that Athena and Reave were back together.
