Arthur watched as Omino took off. He had sometime to kill. Messing around with his light powers. He shot of some light beams. Then took started to run. In two minutes he maded it to Mexico City. He waited, but he was two minutes early.

"Enertro! Up to the roof! General Black has his plane waiting. Inform the others!" Diaphanous yelled somewhat panicky. She then grabbed Enertro and hugged him tightly. "Enertro, whatever happens, let's make sure we stay together." She looked up at him lovingly and kissed him.

Xenix shot out of the way, and Fortuna became ethereal so the chains went straight through her causing no damage.

Guardian is somehow back. Fortuna smiled.

"I bow only to God, Sacer... and you will never be him! One more thing... you believe that when angels die they become human? WRONG! That was your specific fortune dictated to me by the One and Only!" Fortuna yelled to Sacer.

Fortuna and Xenix used their immeasurable speed to fly to the Nevada desert, leaving nothing but an extremely bright trail of light. Before she took off, she yelled to Sacer, "If you are no coward, then come fight me on a larger battlefield! Moreover, no one will ever bow to you!

"That we will, my love," Enertro replied, giving her a kiss as well. He held onto her hand, as he walked with her. "So is Sacer still on our side, my love?"

Legion smiled. "Sure, we can have at it outside if you want-"

Then, Enertro's warning went through his communicator. "I guess we have to go to the copter then..."

"So to speak Enertro." Diaphanous looked at him sadly. "But there will be no one left on this earth. In the end, I assume he will destroy us as well. He has... he is a fallen angel..." She looked off into the distance.

Suddenly she saw a blinding streak of light leaving the L.A. area. "See that Enertro!" Diaphanous pointed. "That, I believe is his current foe... we are watching a battle for earth itself. I do not believe we even count anymore." She turned to him, "This may not make much sense to you, but for us to rule the world, Sacer must fail. However, he is stronger than any of us could ever hope to be. Of all of us, he will be the one to rule the ruins."

Something then occurred to Diaphanous. "Enertro, I do not know where we should relocate to. I believe as far away from the direction that light was traveling as possible. I love you so very much, my soul mate. The NJLU will just have to wait... if they survive this."

Guardian, you have been resurrected... stronger than ever! Praise the Lord! Fortuna told Guardian telepathically.

Fenrir has been resurrected... bigger and stronger, as well. I am trying to draw Sacer from L.A. to the Nevada desert to avoid as many innocent casualties as possible. I am not the one to decide my own fate or fortune. God alone does that, but I fear my fate may not be to beat Sacer. I trust in God completely, and if that is what he deems necessary, that is what will be done. I will do my best against Sacer. Such anger Guardian... God did explicitly let me know what Sacer's fortune and life were to be, in no uncertain terms. Poor Sacer suffered. How he suffered and how I cried, but I will never defy God. Now Sacer considers me his worst foe; the one he wants to see in the most pain, and still now, I want Sacer to repent and be happy. I know that the Lord would not have allowed his fate to be as it is, had He not known Sacer could handle it. I still believe he has good fortune in store for Sacer... at what price, I could not say. Best of luck to you New Guardian.

Fortuna landed in the desert with Xenix flaming. She was in angel form, but still ethereal. There was no way that Sacer could miss the flames.

So she waited...

Omino landed next to Arthur. "You are pretty fast." He looked around. They had a lot of space. "Now we wait for the call from Mr. Bellis. I wonder where everyone else is."

General Black was waiting for Enertro and his crew to come. He saw them and said, "Hurry. We got to get to Mexico." Black jumped into the pilot's seat. Everyone else was already in there copters and on there way to the site.

Zaroff called Contra and let her know that they were to be to Mexico. Zaroff waited for her on the roof.

"Yeah. Who is Mr.Bellis?" Arthur sat down on a rock. Thinking back that fast he went was when he entered the Speed Force. He could never show his face to Barry and Wally for the act he was going to commit.

"Mr. Bellis is the leader of this operation." Omino heard helicopters in the distance. "The others are on there way."

Arthur got up and got ready for this. Running foward he saw the copter then he ran back. "Your right."

Enertro looked in the direction of the light sadly. "It's too bad it had to be this way...As long as we still have each other in the end, my love," Enertro said sadly. He hugged her tightly and passionately kissed her. "Lets go before any more harm comes to Los Angelus..."

I am alive and well, Fortuna. Perhaps now we shall be able to defeat Sacer.

Fortuna, I must ask you keep luck with you. I must get used to these new powers, but afterwards, I will go where ever I am willed to go...

Guardian said a little prayer for Fortuna, and walked outside, ready to test his new powers...

"You are an impatient little one, you know that?" Lew said while waiting for the copters to land.

"Yes I know that. I'm speed power doesn't help that either." Arthur watched as the copters landed. He still wondered who this so called "Mr. Bellis" was and what he did.

The fallen angel sprinted at immeasurable speeds into the ocean where it proceeded to turn to blood and enfulf and empower the enraged Sacer. In a flash he exploded across the night sky in a gorgeous trail of gore and blood that rained over the path it made.

He stopped with Fortuna only a miles distance and at a snap of his fingers the world turned infinitely black. In this darkness Sacer stood in his truest most hateful form. The void was unbreakable; it was Sacer's world now.

"I will break you lady Fortune and watch you burn." His voice broke and warbled with a terrifying pitch. With a raise of his hand an army of demons and undead broke from the "ground".

With another snap of his fingers the army evaporated into dust that whirled around in a tornato creating a new scene. It was Reave being tortured by Hel''s generals. The brutallity of the image was unbearable and buried by the screams of the half demon calling out for god.

"Where was he then?" a disembodied voice warbled

Another image showed Decimus' town being slaughtered followed by a bolt piercing the young man's neck.

"and then?" it asked again.

A flash of 300 years of training and torture under Alucard appeared in this world.

"and what of then!?" its voice grew angrier.

It appeared back to the scene of Hell's Generals pulling Reave apart slowly.

"WHAT OF THEN!?" The voice shattered into sobs of frustration and insanity.

Finally it showed an unknowing Sacer driving a blade through Athena's heart and killing his unborn child.

From the darkness Sacer shot out with his blades in hand attacking Fortuna and her companion with no restraint. His movement and speed were inhuman as he almost seemed to teleport from location to location.

From the relative "sky" a giant face looked down with glee. It's large smile dripped with blood as it slowly approached the pair wanting flesh.

A giant wolf approached the Guardian and bowed.

"It seems we must prevent Sacer from doing something terrible. As why we have been permitted to live again. I hope you are more prepared this time around Guaridan." Fenrir said coldly.

ooc: Ohhhh... of course you have to make Devil Sacer some hottie dude!

Diaphanous held Enertro, and melted into him as they kissed passionately. At the same time, she projected to him: As long as I have you, my soul mate, my sweet love, I shall be happier than I can describe. She kissed him with more passion, moving to his neck and his ear. Diaphanous whispered seductively, "Again, it is too bad we do not have a private place right now." As always with Enertro, even his kisses made her moan and her heart pound. "It is almost unbearable not to be able to have you here and now," she whispered with indescribable love coming through in her words… odd to think of lusty lovemaking while in the situation they were in. When the two of them were together, it was as if the rest of the world did not exist. Pure bliss.

Sacer had caught up to Fortuna, and she was having a difficult time now. The blades went through her without hurting her, however, they did not go through Xenix. Sacer slashed Xenix beyond what he could endure, and Xenix fell, flaming from the sky. She had the capacity to heal Phoenix, but God informed her that she was not to do so if something happened to him. This is how she knew that this would not be easy.

"Xenix! No!" Fortuna yelled. There was some comfort in the fact that he was a phoenix, and would rise from the ashes, however, tears ran down her ethereal face; landing on the earth, they proceeded to produce perfect long stemmed roses.

As Sacer showed him his past life, she began sobbing in pain... oddly growing the most beautifully perfect roses on the earth.

"Sacer! It is because God knows you are strong that he required me to bestow this fortune on you! I believe He has something wonderful planned for you... some sort of infinite happiness. Please just stop this senseless destruction!" Fortuna yelled to Sacer.

Her speed was faster than his was, and she moved quickly generating light in the darkness. Fortuna generated a rain and flat winds to stop the tornado.

The picture was something of blackness with a ball of light in the middle. It seemed they were nearly equally paired. Fortuna sped up and began slashing at Sacer. She could cut Sacer; he could not cut her.

She knew she would not be able to hypnotize him in his current state, so she did not even try.

Fortuna had the gift of teleportation, thus she began to teleport both of them around in different areas; upside down, sideways, and other dizzying moves, to try to make him lose his bearings.

When the tornado was gone, Fortuna stopped the rain. It seemed that Sacer's darkness was breaking through her light. It was not gone, only slightly dimmer, which reduced her powers a small amount. She knew that the darker it got, the weaker she would become.

Fortuna split her Nihonto and crossed her arms. She did a series of what could only be referred to as "speed of light gymnastic moves" around Sacer, generating more light, slashing, and cutting at him. The diamonds on her blades helped to magnify the light so that, at times, it shot in sharp beams at Sacer.

However, she did not know how long she could keep this up.

"Surrender and repent, Sacer. God will forgive you. You are not Him, and you have no hope of ever exceeding the Almighty!"

Fortuna knew he would not listen.

ooc: sorry didn't mean the entire world he put Fortuna and himself into a void like dimension. (trying to find ways to do damage to her). I won't do stuff like this during the final fight btw.

The beautiful roses burned and their ashes blew in the wind as he stepped on each one. The light beam tore through him and he scattered into thousands of bats swarming the angel. Each cruel bat was mocking, insulting, and cursing at her. This wasn't a battle of physical porportions; it was who could mentally torture the other one into submission. When it came down to insanity and mental anguish, Sacer had it in spades.

They reformed into Sacer who snapped his fingers and the blackness faded revealing the desert and the night sky. The effects of the battle between the two were quite devastating upon the earth. The fallen angel smiled as he dreamt of doing battle within the city.

"Go find the Guardian and then come to me again. I will show you what God's 'plan' is exactly. I will be right here waiting." He growled before sitting on the ground Indian style. "I'm not moving from this spot so don't bother hurrying." His eyes closed as he went into a trance like state and faded into the ground.

OOC: Wow is the battle over that fast.

Contra hadn't answered her phone yet so Zaroff ran down the stairs to her room. He ran up to the door and shouted, "Contra we have to leave now!!!" He waited impatiently for her to come to the door.

Contra answered the door impatiently. She had wanted to get ahold of Haze again before this whole thing got underway, but that didn't seem possible now. Oh well. He couldn't say she didn't warn him.

Slightly aggravated, she joined Zaroff in the hall.

"If we keep this up...General Black will have to bring us up himself," gasped Enertro. Ahhh the life of being a leader of an organization...not enough time to do what you want.... He continued to kiss her as his hands searched her back, rubbing her.

Guardian hovered above the air as he studied the massive dog. "I am always prepared. My fate is sealed and I accept what comes my way. God has chosen our fates, and I gladly accept. Do you?" he asked, his otherworldly voice echoing across the courtyard.

"I am not getting sloppy, and we're not done fighting Sacer. You think it is that easy?" Fortuna used her telekinesis to drag Sacer back up onto the earth.

Fortuna covered him with light and slashed him all over with her razor sharp blades so quickly she could not be seen. She had the edge now. She was nothing but blinding light and ethereal fog.

"You are a bit too overconfident Sacer", she said as she slashed him in the neck, blood flying everywhere.

Blood cut from Sacer's neck sprayed everywhere forming into individual daggers. He hung in air and trapped Fortuna in a dark sphere.

"Like I said, sloppy." He mused slowly approaching. "I can feel you weaknening, your 'great' powers fading even. I on the other hand have been getting angrier, crazier, and stronger as the years have passed. While you hovered so gracefully in your little cloud, I was down in hell securing the world. While you rested I suffered for the 'greater good'."

He was now an arm's reach with the angel as he only smiled. The daggers made from his blood rattled on the ground ready to strike at any moment.

"I am going to enjoy watching you suffer angel." He growled pointing his hand towards Los Angeles where the hundreds of crimson daggers shot at hellish speeds.

"I will break you." He barked as the daggers flew through the streets cutting down whomever they came across.

Fenrir stared at the angel blankly and remakred "Always prepared?" he sighed. "You may have gotten stronger, but so has he. Going against him alone again would be suicide."

The wolf sat back on his haunches and cocked his head.

"Fate? I don't have much of a choice but to accept. I won't let Sacer tear apart the world trying to take on heaven so I guess I am on your side." He said hesistantly.

Forgive me old friend, but we are all victims to destiny.

"That is why I await the return of my comrade," replied Guardian, still hovering unmovingly.

After many minutes of silence, the statue-like Guardian moved his tentacle-like wings to grab several nearby flower pots. He brought them closeby and examined them. Noticing one looking as though it were near-death, Guardian placed his hand gently over it. After a second or two, he removed his hand, revealing a beautiful flower, bright and colorful.

Satisfied with the remaining flowers, he placed them back to where they were, before grabbing a large branch from the floor. With a slightly cheerful tone, he asked Fenrir, "Do you play fetch?"

The wolf lowered his head and sighed.

"I do not wish to play 'fetch' as you describe. I am no dog." He said frustrated before closing his eyes and meditating. Suddenly an equal wolf split from himself and the two began fight ferociously. The real Fenrir quickly won and he laid back down licking his paws.

"You should be focusing on the battle at hand. We are not garunteed victory, if anything Sacer will become infinitely enraged if he sees god has given you and I a new form." He added coldly before meditating again.

-and under the noon sky of a blissful day the fallen angel's last wing shall burn in the light of the two remaining Angels of Destiny. Mortal and defeated he will seek repentence through sacrificing himself again only after realizing his duties were completed many a month ago. His companions will walk with him to the gates of heaven and unite the suffered angel with god once again.

"Sacer..." The wolf muttered sorrowly as he bowed his head in remourse. A single tear fell from his deep blue eyes. Fenrir reflected on the many years Reave and him fought desperately against Hell alone; begging and praying every night. As a demon Fenrir died taking an attack for Reave and was brought back for doing so. "If god can forgive a demon, then surely you will be forgiven too and then we can find our light again." He finished falling into a mourning sleep.

"Joy is one of the greatest gifts of God," he muttered to himself, as he tossed the stick behind him. He watched the wolf as he battled the other wolf, and sleeping afterwards.

"You are strange, demon," he whispered as he floated slightly closer to Fenrir. "Once a demon, now a more heavenly creature..."

It had begun to rain and drops fell on Guardian's armor. Quietly, he unrolled a tarp, Father Gilbert had brought out earlier to set up a tent for the family. Considering the family now resided inside the cathedral, they had no use for the tarp. Guardian gathered long branches and stuck them in the ground, as well as tieing the tarp to several of the church's columns.

Underneath the makeshift shelter, slept the wolf, once demon, now remade by God.

Fenrir quickly fell into a deep sleep; he dreamt of the final battle and its aftermath. He dreamt of the life he and Reave had for a thousand years.

We killed Alucard so our troubles should have ended. Yet, even when he was gone you were still haunted by our past. You had Athena and I but you kept fighting something that was never there. Before you can be forgiven you must forgive yourself dear Sacer.

There was a grassy field overlooking a cliff facing the ocean. Through the wolf's eyes he saw Reave...no it was Decimus and Athena. A young girl leaped into his friend's arms laughing and playing. Another child, much younger trotted over and began petting the nostalgiac dog. Suddenly he felt entirely warm as if all was right.

"Come on Fenrir!" Decimus called walking into a beautiful house with his family at his side.

The wolf happily sprinted after them but gained no ground. The house crumbled on the family to Fenrir's horror and from the flaming wreckage emerged the twisted Sacer drenched in blood.

Fenrir snapped out of his dreams and felt at a loss again.

"I will do whatever it takes to give you that life my dear friend." The wolf muttered to himself. Out of the corner of his eye the wolf caught glimpse of the stick the Guardian had offered. He admitted defeat and walked through the rain picking it up in his mighty jaws before bringing it back to his tent.

Guardian took the stick and pet Fenrir behind the ears. "Things will be set right, soon, Fenrir. Your devotion to your master will not go unrewarded, either," replied Guardian as he scanned the skies. "Tell me, if you will, how your feel about your changed life. How you started out a demon, how you are now, remade by the Almighty. I have never had the chance to speak with one as unique as yourself."

Fenrir never talked to anyone outside of Reave before so he paused for a moment.

"Devotion? Sacer is all I have in this world. I have spent a thousand years by his side in every battle, through all the endless amounts of pain. As a demon I hated Reave with no end, but in time I came to agree with him and eventually I saw that he always knew what was best. Then as a loyal wolf I saw a lot of goodness in him until Diaphanous erased his memories and caused him to go berserk. When Sacer lost his mind I followed suit and transformed into that juggernaut. I always believed that Reave and I actually shared a soul so any change in him was a change in me. But now I am good and he is evil; did he know this would happen? There is still good in him I can feel it still even in his darkest hours." The giant wolf plopped his head back on the ground.

"What about you angel? You seem to have lived a pretty straight life." Fenrir asked curiously.

Guardian paused at the question. Never before had he realized he never knew of his past. He pondered silently for several minutes before answering. "I'm afraid I cannot comply with your request...When I became Guardian, I had forgotten my life before. But I have seen and witnessed many of humanities most important events, however, so I believe I've been an angel for many centuries. I remember the Roman Empire, the birth of the Lord, the death of the Lord, the exploration of America...I have witnessed so much...Perhaps my next quest will be to discover my past."

"Other than that, I have battled demons, and even aided humanity in it's toughest times..."

Guardian became silent as he was stumped on Fenrir's question. "I'm afraid that's all I can say..."

"I have seen so much in my life as a holy being, but mostly as a tool of the devil. I have devoured angels and humans alike for centuries until I was imprisoned in Reave. You can't imagine how humiliating it is to be defeated by a human of all things. Then I found out he was actually the avatar of Holy being used for Alucard's sick plans." The wolf responded staring up into the sky.

"Perhaps the past is not important for beings who live as long as us." He added before nuzzeling his head into his forelegs.

Of course it's important our past is what defines us.

"We are defined by how those around us define who we are. We act around others how we wish to be defined; many 'true' forms exist of us in the minds of others." Reave once said.

Fortuna with her telepathy, and not even focusing in on anything in particular, overheard Fenrir... and he was reborn as the Almighty wanted him!
She decided to speak to him telepathically:

Fenrir! Praise the Lord! You have reached your true form! I want to tell you, our past doesn't DEFINE us, it helps mold us into what we continue to become, as we are always becoming. The past doesn't pigeonhole us unless we let it.

We are not defined by others unless we have no self. We define ourselves.

By the way! I am fighting with Sacer over the Nevada desert right now!

Sacer stopped the daggers from entering into the city and focused his attention on Fortuna. With a clap of his hands he encased the angel in a sphere of darkness.

"I cannot do physical damage to you so I ask myself. What to do with you?" He said grinning wickedly.

He began closing his hands making the darkness surrounding Fortuna stronger.

Be careful Fortuna; he may be toying with you. Nothing he does is without a purpose. If you need assistance Guardian and I we will come immediately.

There is no self without the other to define it. Even us angels are reliant on each other and this is why Sacer will fail.

The wolf turned to the Guardian looking worried. "Something isn't right." he said concerned.

"You don't function in darkness very well do you? There was a time when I didn't either, but eventually I came to embrace it just everyone who God turns his back to." He growled growing more infuriated tightening the darkness around the angel.

"I wonder how long you can remain ethreal trapped in that sphere" He added raising her into the air.

OOC- Everyone, my computer caught a virus and is unuseable now. I will only be ale to post a little bit each day, so please just bear with me. Sorry for the problem.

Fortuna was beginning to lose energy, but not all of it. "Lightning strike-red sprite and microburst!"

Immediately, the strongest and rarest form of lightning went from near the end of the atmosphere, down and hit Sacer, and back and forth about 200 times. This is the strongest type of lightening known. The microburst would then force him to the ground with great speed.

"It isn't over yet Sacer." The ball surrounding her was becoming less dark. Fortuna took this opportunity to form a blinding white ball around Sacer.

Fenrir and Guardian... I need you both... I am losing strength as Sacer has me locked in a ball of darkness. Fortuna was getting tired. And by the way, there IS a self even if there exists no one else to define your existence. Remember? "I think, therfore I am,"?

Fenrir heard her ask for help and turned toward guardian before declaring "I'll be right back." With incredible speeds he bound into the distance.

Sacer's charred flesh dripped off of him like loose rotten meat.

"Is this not how you like to imagine me?" He said as his smile slid off his face and smacked like wet meat and slid toward the bottom of the sphere collecting in a pool of disgusting blood.

"You are no match for me alone." Suddenly his entire body melted and then reformed into perfect shape. A black wing shot from his back shattering his prison. Raising a hand toward the night sky he smirked and claimed "You fought me in my strongest time; for shame." His other hand reached out and strengthened the dark orb around Fortuna.

Infuriated he began slamming the prison into everything in sight. Like a renegade pinball it bounced around the landscape at Sacer's command. Amused he sped with the trapped angel high into the atmosphere looking down upon the earth below.

With a furious strike he sent the angel toward the earth like an meteor.

"Not today gentle angel..." He said smuggly watching the massive explosion and the following crater revealed from the falling debris.

Fenrir watched the explosion and felt his heart sank before running over to the crater.

OOC: Sorry for my tardiness. Easter holidays and the like! I more or less think I have the general gist of what is happening. However if my post is in any way inappropriate, please do let me know and I shall happily edit accordingly.

The explosion was bright and filled the night Nevada air. From the smouldering crater seemed no movement. Yet moments later the dark orb which was encasing the angel appeared to be levitating. It wasn't until seconds afterward that Hatman glided upward from the crater, clutching the orb in his firm grip. He touched down carefully and placed the orb on to the dry sands before turning to Sacer,

"Well that wasn't very nice now was it?" He asked with a hint of challenge in his voice. He studied Sacer's grotesque form as he slowly advanced, "From what I've gathered, you've been causing quite a bit of trouble!" And he draw his sai...

Guardian heard Fortuna's cry for help. He cringed at his close friend's plea. Fenrir had heard her call as well, and was most likely running to aide her. He looked upward, noticing the rain becoming a storm, lightning flashing once in a while.

Time to test out my wings...he thought as he looked at them. They coiled inward, forming the feathery angel wings he once had. He took off to the sky, faster than before, and made his way towards the battle in which they would end this...

Legion was making his way to the copter when he noticed Enertro and Diaphanous making out. He wistled at them.

"Masters or lovebirds, I believe you can make love another time..." he chuckled.

At any other day, Enertro would have given Legion a lesson worth remembering, but he was so in love with Diaphanous. "Come my love, so we may live out our dreams...we can continue this in the copter..." he smiled slyly, picking Diaphanous up, and carrying her up the stairs.

Fortuna was horrified at Sacer's "melting" and reforming.

She replied to him, "No, this is not the way I have always wanted to see you! You just do not understand!"

Suddenly, the ball of darkness surrounding her got much darker. It was obvious that Sacer had become much stronger.

With Fortuna helpless inside, Sacer smashed the black sphere against everything in sight. She was beaten severely, and was unable to use her healing powers due to the dark orb surrounding her.

In a matter of time, Sacer raised the orb high in the sky. Fortuna knew what was coming and prayed she would survive. Just as she suspected, Sacer slammed the orb into the ground at incredible speed, causing a massive explosion. Her wings were in tatters, and her energy gone.

Prior to passing out, Fortuna began crying... not for herself, but for Sacer. Around the angel's unconscious body were beautiful roses growing out of the earth.

She was unaware that someone had lifted the orb, along with herself, out of the crater.

Diaphanous giggled at Legion. She really liked him. He was a good guy.

Despite all that was going on, Diaphanous was in her own personal Nirvana along with Enertro. She grinned at him when he picked her up and carried her. "I feel like a teenager again!" She smiled at Enertro, and added, "You know, that Legion is a good guy. He has been good to me and not been suspicious of me from day one. I trust him and have fun with him... playing poker with a circle of Legions was sure a sight to see!"

Diaphanous laughed again and kissed her beloved. She could not be happier. She looked deeply into Enertro's eyes and told him, yet again, how much she loved him. She then kissed him, and held him tight.

Sacer flexed his massive black wing approaching Fenrir, Hatman, and unconcious Fortuna. His two elongated blades materialized into his hands in a vortex of darkness.

"Mortal, get out of my way and as for you decietful dog I'll put you to rest for good." The fallen angel growled in an otherworldly voice.

Fenrir didn't waste any time as he lunged at Sacer and entered a desperate combat.

"Get her out of here!" The wolf yelled to Hatman as his blood spilled onto the earth in a fury of slashes. "Now!"

Guardian hurry... Fenrir thought as a deep shadow suddenly appreared benath him. One by one chains swung from the shadow slowly pinning the giant wolf down. Sacer smiled as he lifted his hand and spikes shot from the shadow impaling the wolf. Blood trickled from Fenrir's mouth before he snapped into a rage shattering the chains and engaging the fallen angel again.

"No wolf, you are right to send the Angel of Fools away for her grave won't be here. Her and the Guardian will rest elsewhere on the day destined. As for you any dirt covered wasteland will be suitable." Sacer finished driving both blades through the wolf's side. Fenrir was on his last breath as he looked at the strange new hero and weakly said. "Get her to the Guardian."

OOC: Good job on that fight guys. After Sacer wins he needs to leave her there in the desert for Guardian and Fenrir to find.

Haze moved at nearly the speed of light towards the Nevada. He saw lightning bolts strike over 150 times in one spot. This is trouble. As Haze got closer he made out the image of three beings. There was Sacer, a beautiful angel and Hatman. It looked like Hatman was going to try and confront Sacer by himself. Haze sent a direct telepathic message to Hatman saying, [i]MOVE HATMAN!! He is too strong.[i/] Haze sped towards him to try to help.

Fortuna was slightly conscious. Everything looked like a dream.

She saw Fenrir bleeding from Sacer's strikes. Fenrir... A tear dropped from her eye and a beautiful white rose emerged from the earth.

Fortuna promptly passed out again.

Enertro laughed at Diaphanous' comment on feeling like a teenager. "I feel like I'm taking you to prom," he laughed.
"I find it amazing how Legion and Surge get along so well..." chuckled Enertro. "What with them being almost exact opposites as each other..."

Enertro had reached the top of the stairs and found General Black's copter waiting for them. "General, you still here?" Enertro called out.

Guardian soared through the air, rapidly flying past buildings. People pointed up at their guardian angel and cheered him on.

Lightning flashed through the sky, thunder following shortly after. Guardian felt the energies of the angels and others closing in.

Then, one of the auras dimmed greatly. "Fortuna!" he cried as he realized who it was. Soon after, the other aura dimmed until it just gave out. "Not you too, Fenrir..." Guardian floated in air as the heavens roared with thunder. Guardian's being glowed brightly, his anger rising. "You will be brought to justice, demon," he growled, before once again racing towards the others.

Sacer drew his blade from Fenrir as the wolf collapsed on the brink of death. He looked into his fading eyes and felt a ping of regret.

Dammit He muttered to himself.

He sensed the Guardian flying over the horizon and realized this was not the time nor the place for the final battle even if it was in his best interest.

"I will be back for my vengence." He barked before wrapping his black wing around himself. Black feathers exploded across the landscape and gently fell to the earth. Sacer had disapeared.

Guardian landed softly on the ground, immediately running past Hatman to Fortuna. He picked her up with his strong arms and a white light was visible from his hands, entering his comrade. "Fortuna, I will not lose you now..." he half-growled, half-cried.

Guardian had known Fortuna for many years, and he believed they were close enough to be considered close friends. Guardian looked up to the sky and pleaded for God to give Fortuna a second chance...

Fenrir! If you are still alive, you must stay alive for several more minutes! thought Guardian to the wolf who lay several feet away.

The wolf rolled onto his side revealing the massive gashes in his belly. Blood flowed steadily from his mouth as he patheticly tried to stand only to fall over again and again. He was far too proud to die so easily.

Sacer could have finished me...but he didn't. There's still some good in him after all this time. He thought before falling into a deep sleep.

Haze arrived shortly after the Guardian landed. Haze could sense the great angel's sorrow for his fallen comrades. Haze walked up next to Hatman and acknowledged him. Then he looked at the two heavenly bodies. These figures were the ultimate superheroes sent down by God himself. Haze spoke to the Guardian, "Will she survive?" He waited for the angel's reply.

When Enertro and his crew finally boarded the plane Black took off. He turned his head towards the couple and said, "It is about time you got here." He turned the copter in the direction of Mexico.

In her mind, Fortuna could hear Guardian, but she did not know if she was dreaming or if she was dying.

If I do die, at least my great friend Guardian is by my side. She thought.

Fenrir struggled to his feet gritting his teeth and straining every muscel in his body. The wolf coughed a few chunks of blood and staggered toward Fortuna and Guardian.

"She'll be fine; Sacer didn't come to this battle with the intention of killing her." He said quietly as he sat on his haunches becoming light headed.

Guardian set her down carefully, before embracing the wolf. Healing energy engulfed the wolf. "You're very brave, Fenrir. And helpful to bringing Sacer back to justice..."

"Thank you kind angel, but I am only doing this for Sacer. I want him to be able to rest for once in his wretched life." He said as the wounds on his body slowly healed.

Sacer sat on a mountain in hell overlooking a vast legion of demons climbing for him.

"Amazing, even as a fallen angel Hell won't accept me." He growled furiously annihilating another wave with an effortless swing of his blade.

So you have started your war on god?

Silence, you are the last 'thing' I want to speak to. You should reel in terror if I claim victory; for I will lay waste to you and your domain.

Legs dangeling over the edge he watched as more demons climbed towards him.

"Ha, so stupid." He mused obliterating hundreds more with a careless attack.

"This was never a war...it was to prove a point." He claimed standing up cutting a slit back into Earth. He was in his old London Manor study decorated with thousands upon thousands of archaic books.

He snatch The Triumverate from the shelf and sat in his desk with his black wing draped over his chair.

"Where do you believe we would find Sacer to finish this once and for all then?" asked Guardian, as he continued to heal the battered wolf.

The wolf lowered his head. "I don't know." he admitted.

"Sacer will let us know. He has been setting this battle up ever since he 'fell'. He replied.

Consciousness was coming back to Fortuna. She looked around, her eyes a bit hazy.

She saw Guardian tending to Fenrir's wounds. Fortuna sighed with relief.

"Guardian! Fenrir! Thank God you are both alive..." Fortuna whispered with a weak smile.

She began to heal herself as best she could, however, it seemed she did not currently have the energy to heal herself much. It would take some time before she was at her full power.

"What happened to Sacer? I thought he meant to kill me. Did one of you chase him off?" Fortuna wanted to know what happened. She was grateful to be alive, as she had a strong feeling that God would personally order her to bestow good Fortune on Sacer in the future. She only wished she could predict the future.

Tears of combined sadness for Sacer and joy for Fenrir and Guardian dripped down her cheeks as she lay on the ground, beautiful flowers beginning to surround her face... they were exotic and all pure white.

Fenrir stumbled through the gorgeous collection of heavenly flowers. Its scent masked his own blood pooling shortly behind.

"Fortuna are you ok?" The wolf asked softly.

Hatman observed the altercation and had absolutely no reason to argue with the weakened Fenrir when he asked him to take the angel to safety. He also had no reason to doubt Haze's telepathic warning and had quickly followed the sound advice.

After Sacer's disappearance, the rest of the heroes gathered around the fallen Fenrir and Fortuna. Hatman steadily walked forward with questions in his mind,

"I take it then that this Sacer is somewhat powerful?"

"I have been better." Fortuna answered, trying to make a joke of it, although it was obvious she was in terrible pain. "Thank you for asking Fenrir."

Fortuna looked at the new Fenrir with awe. "Fenrir, you are beautiful," she told him staring at him. "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to stare."

She tried to get up, but could not do so on her own. As damaged as she was, it would take a long time for her to heal herself.

"Guardian, my friend?" she asked, "Do you have enough healing power to heal me? I am too weak. I will never be able to even help fight Sacer at this rate." Fortuna told him. "I am sorry. I do not want to trouble you; however, I think we all are needed in the imminent future." She knew everyone understood what she meant.

"Fenrir, please do not despair for Sacer. He has gone through many transformations, as did you, a... and how he suffered." Tears ran down her face, turning into sobs. Stunning white flowers of all types spread further and further away from her. The earth from the sky would have looked white in that area.

"Fenrir, I never wanted to bestow the unbearable fortune on either you or Sacer. It comforts me to know you are OK now. However, I hope you are aware that I had direct orders from God to bestow the exact fortune on Sacer. His suffering made me suffer as well. I did not want to do this." Fortuna continued, "I believe he was chose for all of this because God knows how strong he is. I also believe that content and joy is his reward at the end. It is just a guess. I also think we are in for a hell of a fight." Her eyes closed from exhaustion.

"I think I understand why it was necessary for Sacer to 'fall' as he did. Our suffering was indeed great, but compared to what would have happened if Alucard remained alive and opened to gates to hell." He paused and began shaking his head. "However, even one as powerful as Sacer cannot take that much suffering without feeling completely abandoned."

Fenrir laid on all four legs in the fresh garden of exotic roses as a tear slid down his eye.

Sacer continued reading the book growing more infuriated as he reached the end.

and the Fallen Angel shall beg for forgiveness and enter god's kindgdom.

Immediately the book burst into flames and its ashes littered the floor.

"I would rather go back to my old life then to beg or even ask for forgiveness. Those arrogant angels who think themselves better than me know nothing. I wish I had torn them to pieces when I had the chance." His words rattled the books on the shelves.

A bullet ripped through the window tearing his skull apart and puting his body onto the floor. Several minutes later a cadre of priest like figures walked into the room; one carrying the murder weapon.

The leader grabbed his phone and said with casual excitement. "Target: 001 Razor Echo Alpha Valentine Echo has been eliminated. I repeat eliminated." Among the catholic soldiers there was a buzz of excitement for they had just eliminated the most wanted demon in the Vatican.

The headless boldy rose horridly and stretched its arms. The soldiers tried to run but the doors slammed shut behind them.

"My god..."one of them said trembling as Sacer's head began repiecing itself.

"I was just getting hungry." The fallen angel said approaching with a wicked smile as the entire house was engulfed in darkness.

"Rest, Fortuna. I'll take care of it," he replied as he set his hands on Fortuna's body, the white light once again apparant.

Guardian observed the heros. "We thank you for your concern, humans. Sacer is indeed a powerful foe, and a great ally. It would be wise to stay away from him at all times. Please, if there is anyone you can save from Sacer's onslaught in Los Angelus, go save them. We'll deal with Sacer when the time is right..."

Sacer twisted apart the deceased assasin as gore and blood sprayed on the floor and walls. He sank his teeth into the tender muscels tearing them from the bone as the others looked on despair and horror. Out of the six killers sent from the Vatican the fallen angel had devoured four. Suddenly a young boy burst through the doors driving a sword into Sacer's chest. He looked at the blade before drawing it out effortlessly and flinging the boy against the wall.

"Alexander!" the father of the group yelled. The boy stood to his feet facing Sacer unseathing another blade wiping the blood from his mouth. "No father I won't lose you without a fight." The thirteen year old kissing the cross around his neck before charging at Sacer again.

The fallen angel was touched by his tenacity. He snatched the child by the neck and looked into his eyes; there was a deep sense of sorrow in this devil's heart. He walked out the door placing the child next to his father. Sacer reached into his pocket and dug out the cross that he had given to Athena. He put a blessing on it and gave it to the boy who tended to his father.

"Keep this with you and no dark forces will ever harm you." Sacer said before walking away.

The boy stared at the pristine cross made of pure silver, it was amazingly beautiful. He looked back up to the demonic angel walking away and just for a second he changed into a glorious white being of heaven. The child rubbed his eyes and Sacer was adorning his dark form.

"In nominus Patrii, Filii, et spiritus sancti." The young boy muttered to himself crossing his mind, heart, and soul.

Fenrir rested his soft head on Fortuna's hand and nuzzled it against the side of her neck before laying down next to her. He surrounded himself in a white light to heal the angel and began humming a song.

A tear fell from his eye after realizing he would have to battle his friend.

"Guardian, Fenrir... thank you for helping me heal." Fortuna said gratefully.

She was listening to Fenrir, who had cuddled up to her. He was humming a song. Tears ran down Fortuna's face as well.

"I am sorry Fenrir." She stroked his paw.

Sacer sat on the peak of his roof now doubting his motives.

Is this really the right path? Can a fallen angel really be forgiven? Especially after all I've done. So if I win...I must kill Fortuna, Guardian, and Fenrir. Through my vengeful walk I've shed the blood of so many who didn't deserve it; so many people who were just like me once. All I've done is fuel the circle of murder.

He lowered his head in self hatred as he felt a small hand on his shoulder. He turned his head and saw the child he had spared from earlier.

"Why are you evil?" He asked innocently.

Sacer sighed deeply as he dug for an answer that wasn't a lie.

"Sometimes when we lose our light, we fall into darkness." He replied.

The boy cocked his head and responded uncertain." You lost your light?"

"Yes, someone very dear to me and I couldn't save her. That and I haven't heard from god in very long." The fallen angel said wrapping his black wing around the shivering boy.

"That's silly." The bright eyed child mocked.

"What?" The demonic angel asked almost shocked.

"You'll see god and her one day in heaven." He continued with a childish chirp.

"You're still very young, but there are some things that are fairy tales and the horrible reality in which we live. Fighting, bleeding, dieing for everything we love ironically enough taking from others. It is an endless cycle of bloodshed in which I want to stop." The angel rebutted.

"God makes things right for everyone one day. Anyone who truly seeks forgiveness shall find their light again. You might need this more than I angel." He dropped the silver cross into Sacer's hand. Suddenly his father called for him. "Well goodbye angel, I hope you find your light."

The fallen angel stared at the cross and immediately felt the sorrow of Athena again.

I'm going to make it so no one has to suffer ever again. No one should feel this way.

As the boy and his father retreated from the home, Sacer flicked the cross so that it slid into the child's pocket. He spread his magnificent black wing before ascending into the morning sky.

"Don't apologize kind angel." The wolf begged. "I have betrayed Sacer so many times out of foolish ambitions. It is my responsibilty for his fall and thus I will gladly sacrifice my soul if only to save his."

He fell asleep and dreamt of his days with Reave fighting a guerilla war against Hell's Generals just trying to survive.

"So, General Black, what exactly is the plan to defeat the NJLU, why Mexico?" asked Enertro, lightly massaging Diaphanous.

"Fortuna, are you feeling better?" Guardian asked, his healing slowing.

"Yes, Guardian, I am feeling better. Thank you so very much." Fortuna smiled up at him, but it was a sad smile.

"Fenrir, none of the past matters... If you ask God to be forgiven and repent, that is all that is needed to be allowed back into his kingdom." Fortuna smiled through her tears.

"Sacer's fall isn't your responsibility. I have wondered many times, that if it were I instead of Sacer... if we switched places, would I have done the same thing. It scares me. You see, he and you I assume, have suffered more than I can even imagine. Fenrir, I admire your strength, as well as Sacer's. I think that is why He chose the two of you to go through all these literal changes, and many hells... Perhaps the rest of us... Guardian and I for example, could not have lived through all these travails. I believe God thinks Sacer to be special. Strangely, the special and very strong angel is the one God would choose to live with tragedy and hell."

Fortuna continued, tears streaking her cheeks and landing on the ground, growing a flower each time.

"Fenrir, I do not know if this makes sense to you. It does to me. God believes Sacer to be Stronger than I. I believe Sacer will, must come to his senses, repent, and he will be with us again in the Kingdom of the Lord. His pain will be gone and he can expect to receive the reward of absolute bliss. I truly believe this."

Fortuna looked at Fenrir. "Do you mind if I... uh... cuddle with you and sleep? Your fur is so soft; like a cloud." Without waiting for an answer, Fortuna snuggled up to Fenrir and got comfortable. It did not seem that Fenrir minded.

"Fenrir... I love you, you know...,” whispered Fortuna as she drifted off to sleep along with Fenrir.

"Enertro, I do not believe the NJLU is a priority at the moment." Diaphanous responded to his question to General Black.

"I mean no disrespect, but whether or not the world even exists after the next couple days is probably a priority." She looked at him and sighed. "This is what we are looking at... the fate of the entire world. We may just have to wait and see if we still exist in a couple days before worrying about the NJLU." Diaphanous looked in Enertro's eyes sadly, then hugged him tightly.

"Do not worry, my love. I know we'll remain. Our dreams will come true, and our love will keep us together," he replied, kissing her passionately.

Maybe Diaphanous will be split up with Enertro during this whole debacle... thought Surge as he looked out the window. He smiled sinisterly as the image of the NJLU, Sacer, or even Surge shooting Diaphanous with deadly lightning entered his head.

Guardian watched the pair sleep, before walking a short distance away. His feathered wings vaporized, revealing his glorious wings of light. He brought the image of his new sword into mind.

And there formed a glorious sword, runes etched into the sides. Unbreakable, can cut through most things, a truly remarkable sword. He began to swing it around with expert percision, slowly moving faster and faster until it seemed he was merely a blur of light. The sword made a metallic wistle as it passed moved swiftly through the air.

Diaphanous caught Surge's thoughts. They were so strong and hateful that they entered her mind telepathically. She told Enertro exactly what Surge was thinking and then responded to Surge.

"Dream on Surge, it is never going to happen. Why am I such a threat to you? This I do not understand. What I see from you is nothing but childish jealousy, because you do not spend as much time with Enertro. Get over it... and you won't be blasting me with electricity, my friend. It just won't work. By the way, Enertro knows everything I received from you telepathically. I do not think he is happy with you right now... threatening my life. I love Enertro and he loves me. It is that simple. Why can you not understand something so simple? I do not interfere in the organization's business, so you have nothing to worry about. In addition, the earth might not even be here, come the next day or two, so it probably is a moot hatred."

Diaphanous sent the telepathic message to Enertro also, so that he could hear the telepathic conversation from her end.

"Enertro... I told you he wanted me dead." Diaphanous looked at him blankly.

"General Surge, I command you to stop this. It is as close to treason as you could get. Give my love proper respect, or else I'll have to intervene..." barked Enertro. He held onto Diaphanous a little tighter. Don't worry, my love. Surge will never hurt you. Not on my watch.

"Of course master, I'm so very sorry to both of you," he said with a small bow. Of course, you squeeling child! Always having to cry about it to your lackey, my poor master who's gone braindead because of you, instead of dealing with problems yourself... thought Surge angrily.

Captain Black looked at Enertro and said, "We chose Mexico because of the deserts outside of the city. Also if we need to we can use the millions of people as hostage. We can destroy the NJLU physically and mentally." Black landed the helicopter next to the rest of the copters.

Omino looked and saw that an additional aircraft landed. Out stepped the American squad. He looked at Arthur and said, "It is almost showtime." He smiled to himself.

Haze nodded to the angel. He then told the Guardian, "Not only are we having to deal with Sacer, we have to fight against the World's Governments. They are plotting to destroy the NJLU." Haze shook his head. I don't know what we are going to do. Then it came to him. "Why don't you two help
us?"

Diaphanous projected Surge's last thoughts into Enertro's mind.

"I've had it. I will deal with it myself! NOW!"

Since Surge was not flying the craft, it did not matter what his thoughts were, or how his brain was functioning.

"Scramble: Lose electric power." She said quietly, as Surge's brain functions changed so he could not use his electric powers.

"Is this good enough for you Surge? I took care of it myself!" Diaphanous angrily yelled for everyone to hear. "I swear if you fuck with me one more time, I will kill you!" Her eyes were solid red as she yelled.

This problem would indeed be hard on Enertro, but she was sick of the death threats and all the other childish crap she was taking from Surge.

"No more shit Surge! I refuse to take it from you EVER AGAIN, you childish jealous FUCK!" Diaphanous was almost hyperventilating.

"Haze..." Fortuna said, "I believe we need all our strength to deal with Sacer. I do not think we can spare anything for your cause at the moment. There will be no cause if the world is destroyed." Fortuna looked at Haze, trying to make him understand the gravity of the situation.

OOC: :eek: Wow. That is some serious profanity. You don't think we will get in trouble with the mods do you? How can you strip someone of there powers? That is a near godmod.

Haze looked at the beautiful angel. Haze then said, "If these people destroy the NJLU like they intend the world will be destroyed. There will be no one to defend the common man. The world will be taken over by the supervillians and all of those people who you cry for will be driven into slavery. Do you want that to happen?" Haze knew that Sacer still had a good side. He also knew that the villians didn't.

Surge jumped out of his seat at the outburst. He pressed his back against a small corner. Indeed, he was scared. "Y-yes, master..." replied Surge, cowering in the small corner.

Legion would have helped General Surge, if he hadn't been frightened himself. His knuckles were white, from gripping the arm rests so tightly.

Enertro himself was slightly frightened, but he trusted his love, and got up.

"Let's go make ourselves, cozy, my love," he whispered in her ear, massaging her shoulders. "I think Surge has learned his lesson."

ooc: Since it's a scramble, how about it changes the targeted person to some random person? BTW, Hex does effectively stop the power and intention of the user... anyhoo, how about if I scramble, and he trys to electrocute me, and he hits Black, for example? It's hard to figure out as we're talking about messing w/his brain. I could lower his serotonin, dopamine and norepenephrine, and make him so depressed that he can't function. That is the original idea behind scramble. Or, for example, raise the dopamine in the soldiers, so it's like they're on coke and they're all gung ho to get fighting, etc... The part in italics is exactly what I meant by scramble when I put it in my abilities, or raising substance-P in the brain so a mere touch of a hand causes excruciating pain. Those were the originals... should I just use those? Depress him to the point where he crys? Make him schizoid and paranoid and cowering in a corner? Something like that? Diaphanous noticed everyone was now afraid of her. "Legion, my friend... I have even mentioned to Enertro how much I like you. I would never ever hurt you in any way. You have been kind to me and trusted me, unlike Surge, who has been cruel to me for no reason ever since I got here. Please relax Legion. Surge has threatened to kill me, you have not. You are my fun poker buddy... or should I say buddies!" She grinned and laughed. "Please don't be afraid. I never do anything to a comrad unless I am defending myself." She glared at Surge.

Diaphanous grabbed Enertro's hand and smiled at him. As they walked back, she looked at Enertro very sadly, "Surge will never learn any lesson. He wants me dead."

Considering what she put up with regarding Surge, including death threats, Diaphanous really wanted him to just accept her and let the organization get back to running.

She looked at Enertro, a tear falling down her face, "All I really want is for him to accept me, as he is your friend, but he never will. I do not know how you can have a friend who threatens me with death. I cannot understand. I am your soul mate yet your best friend is trying to kill me." Diaphanous began to sob uncontrollably. Perhaps Surge did come before her.

Not always. It can sometimes just alter the power. Ask Gaeltach.

As they left, Surge recomposed himself. He glared at Diaphanous, before looking back at Legion. "What are you staring at?" he barked.

"You know what? I'm jealous of Enertro. Not only does he have a beautiful young lover, but she is powerful too..."

"Shut up!" growled Surge, as he watched the two leave, hand in hand.

Enertro embraced Diaphanous and held her tightly. "Don't cry my love, don't cry. I love you more than anything, even more than my friendship with Surge. I will never let him do anything more to you. But trust me, my love. He will learn to love you like a friend or sibling. Mind you, not as a girlfriend, or else he may try to earn your love himself," he chuckled, hoping to make Diaphanous feel better.

"Would you like to rent a room and continue our session from where we left off at Los Angelus?" he smiled, stroking the tears off her face before adding a long passionate kiss.

Sacer could feel the hatred and distrust emitting from the group from his position in the sky.

"Foolish humans." He muttered to himself before focusing on their exact location. The only person angry enough for Sacer to track was Surge.

Surge, what the hell is going on? I leave for a few weeks and now the orginization is reduced to biting its own tail. I can't express how important it is for your group to remain coordinated and strong at times like this. I would hate to have to show up personally and set things straight...

Sacers dark words echoed into Surge's wrathful mind sounding close to the devil.

ooc: How about that Surge cannot think straight and can't speak English... just gibberish, and his mind is such that he can't concentrate. Diaphanous will lift if from him prior to her yelling at him, so he can understand her. If he was depressed he couldn't feel hate... he wouldn't care.

Diaphanous began walking with Enertro, and got another telepathy jolt. It was Sacer. "Enertro! It's Sacer! And I know how he tracked us as well... thanks to Surge's hatred." She was growing weary of Surge. "I cannot take much more of this Enertro." Diaphanous looked at him, not believing Surge would ever accept her and not hate her. "He will always hate me, and he will try to kill me... perhaps try to make it look like an accident. I do not even know why he feels the way he does, unless he thinks I walked in and rose on the totem pole higher than him immediately, but I do not think that is the reason. Honestly, I do not know. I want you to know, Enertro; if Surge tries to kill me or hurt me, I will fight back. If he dies in the process, you must forgive me. I never have and never will attack him. This is a hypothetical situation that would only happen in self defense."

"I am going to briefly contact Sacer." She stated.

Sacer, it is Diaphanous. I know how you found us. You see... Surge hates me to the point where he has threatened to kill me... more than once. The hatred is directed towards me and me alone. I do not know what will happen other than that it is likely he will try to kill me. I doubt that he can, however. This is the rift here. That bastard... he is ruining everything., Diaphanous told Sacer telepathically.

She continued, Sacer, please stop this madness! Please! This is not you! I know it is not. It is a part of you, but you have transformed somehow. There will be no world to rule if you continue this destruction... however... I assume you intend to kill us as well. I guess it does not matter if Surge kills me first, I suppose. I know this is going to sound 'stupid' and 'mortal', but I wish I could comfort you somehow, with something as meaningless to you, and meaningful to me, as a hug. I have always thought of you as a friend. Now I am afraid of you Sacer.

Diaphanous held back the tears forming in her eyes. “Enertro, you are the only constant, euphoric, perfect thing in my entire life. I only wish I were not surrounded by hate everywhere else. I love you so much.” She put her arms around his neck and looked deeply into his eyes, her eyes brimming with love. “Thank you… for existing,” she said.

"My love, I'll set Surge straight. I'll make sure Legion keeps an eye out for him as well. I love you with all my heart and I will stop at nothing to make sure you remain alive and well. You are the perfect...the perfect anything. I cannot be alone one minute without wanting you. You are...the greatest gift from God I have ever recieved..." Enertro pressed his lips against her, in a long sensual kiss.

Enertro's words reassured Diaphanous. She kissed him passionately in return. It was true... the two of them together were stronger than they were separately. Diaphanous could feel the strength flowing through her when they kissed. Even when they looked at each other. They were truly soul mates.

"Enertro, I just don't want anything to happen now that we are together... By the way, how far is the hotel from here?" She gave him a seductive smile.

Enertro smiled back. "Not far, my love..." he motioned towards a large building several hundred feet away. "I think that might be one."

Enertro stared at Diaphanous. He coudn't wait. His wanting of her was already rising. "Let's hurry, I don't know how much longer I can restrain myself from burrying you in kisses..." chuckled Enertro.

"mmmmm.... I know exactly how you feel, Enertro, my love!" Diaphanous responded, her eyes sparkling.

Omino saw Enertro and Diaphanous nearly choking one another with their tongues. He shook his head. He then yelled ahead to them, "Aye you two love birds we have a mission to do." Omino looked up into the sky. It was starting to darken. Tomorrow morning it would all begin.

Surge has always been a problem for the orginization since you came along. Perhaps you would wish it for me to eliminate this nuisance once and for all. I can make it look as 'natural' as possible. Please do not fear me for you and Enertro are my masters; your dreams are mine. Give your loyal servant the order and Surge will no longer trouble you.

He was morphing towards their position in complete darkness. Sacer enjoyed the idea of twisting Surge apart like a ragdoll.

In the wake of the last battle with Fortuna, Sacer has become slightly weaker. Questioning his motives and taming his hatred have dulled his dark powers a little. The fallen angel knows what is to come and wishes to see his old friends one last time.

Arthur looked at Omino. "What are these two doing here?"

Diaphanous looked at Omino as he yelled to them. She whispered to Enertro "Oh... hey... that is that man, Omino. I sensed tremendous power in him. I have no clue who the other is."

"Enertro, I have communicated with Sacer and he says he is working for us. Although, reluctantly, I will inform him that I do not need him to whack Surge." Diaphanous started laughing. "It sounds like Sacer does not care for Surge either. Do not worry Enertro. I would never put a 'hit' on Surge," she assured him, "although Sacer says to just say the word and it will be done. I am a little shocked. I will not take him up on this unless it is to save my life if Surge tries to kill me and I cannot defend myself." Diaphanous kissed Enertro. "I think I can hold my own with the jerk anyway." She grinned.

Sacer, thank you for remaining loyal, and I appreciate the offer to get rid of Surge. I will decline for now, thank you. If I get into a situation where he tries to kill me and I cannot defend myself, I will at that time let you know. I think I can hold my own against Surge. Also, Enertro is having Legion(s) keep an eye on him.

By the way, I met a 'being' named Guardian. He was a real angel. Sacer, you are also an angel aren't you. Diaphanous asked. And he is your enemy, is he not? I am sorry for all you are going through Sacer.

Of course master and I was never unloyal to you. Only when I was foolish and ignorant for that brief period of time, but you set straight. Sacer replied relunctantly.

The Guardian, hah, I do know him quite well. He and The Angel of Fortune are my immortal enemies as well as Fenrir now too. Do not apologize master, everything will be right soon enough and no one will ever have to suffer again..

The fallen angel morphed in an ally overlooking Enertro and Diaphanous. He quickly shifted into his human form, a very handsome and well dressed figure, and approached from the shadows.

Diaphanous immediately knew it was Sacer. She could feel it. "Sacer!" She ran up to him and hugged him. "I have been worried about you." She could not help but take note that Sacer was so damned gorgeous in his new form, that she was almost stunned. "You are looking good Sacer." She smiled, but deep down, she was in turmoil.

Diaphanous met Guardian, and knew guardian was a pure soul... Fenrir, his mortal enemy? She also knew that this was not his only form and remembered what he did in L.A.

Diaphanous telepathically informed Enertro of all of these things, except for the part about Sacer looking so hot. She chuckled to herself. Of course, no one could ever take the place of Enertro in any way, but it was noteworthy.

She gave Enertro a wan smile, realizing with the arrival of Omino and the kid and especially Sacer that their erotic few hours was not likely to happen.

"Sacer... I do not want to anger you. I do not know how to say this. Perhaps the three of us could go to our hotel room to talk. Is this alright with you Enertro?"

Diaphanous moved back to Enertro and mentioned that the whole thing with Guardian, Fortuna, Fenrir, "no one ever suffers again", and such should be discussed. "I can't believe he still thinks of us as his masters." There was something sweet in the idea that such a hateful being was still behaving as their servant... especially since he was so much stronger than everyone here.

"Sacer, perhaps next time we see Surge, without Enertro around, as that is the only time he messes with me, you could... oh... make it known that he should not mess with me. Surge will not even know who you are." Diaphanous laughed. "Only if it is OK with you, Enertro... of course I mean without hurting him... perhaps a display of power. I hate to say it, but I think that jerk deserves it.

"It is amazing that he and Legion remain so close. Legion is such a sweetheart... dear to me, and Surge is such an ass." She mused aloud. "However, having Legion keep an eye on him is a great idea Enertro." She kissed him and smiled, all the love in hear heart pouring from her eyes into his.

Poor Sacer, Diaphanous thought to herself. I sense such a horrible conflict in him. She wanted him to experience true contentment and joy. If everyone on this earth felt the joy that Enertro and I feel when we are together, the world would be a different place... a Nirvana.

"Perhaps you should not let anyone from the other countries know who/what you are Sacer. Some of them could be dangerous, and some may try something out of sheer bravado. There are people here, such as Omino, who are kinetic with everything. Quite a range of power." Diaphanous informed him.

"Enertro, what do you think? Should the three of us talk. I think we cannot avoid it, since he is here and wishes to serve us." Diaphanous commented.

"It is good to see you again my master." Sacer said warmly embracing Diaphanous as soon as she let go he kneeled and bowed his head. "I would enjoy nothing more than to meet with my masters. As for this 'gorgeous' form...it is mearly a guise to hide my more putrid powers; powers that would give humans nightmares."

He smiled as she suggested what to do for Surge.

"Of course master. It would be my pleasure to humble his vile envy should he reveal his jealousy ever again." He replied joyously still kneeling only looking up when speaking.

It feels good to be home with my masters.

Sacer paused at the foreign word.

Home...is this home? It is not the place in my dreams, but it feels right. Perhaps this is my destiny. Maybe I can avoid being a slave to god again by serving my masters here. As long as I can feel wanted then I can keep going.

A gentle smiled slid across his face.

Omino looked at Arthur and said, "They are apart the force against the NJLU. Enertro seems pretty powerful." He looked at Diaphanous. "Her powers are progressing. She could be very powerful if she used her abilities correctly. Do you know them?"

Omino then saw a figure emerge from the shadows on the ground.Who is he? Don't remember seeing him at the meeting?

"Of course, my love. Let's take this to the hotel room," he replied. "As for Surge, it pains me to say it, but it pains me more to see my love being messed with. Just promise me not to hurt him. Nothing too harmful either. Just something small..."

Enertro was saddened at not being able to have their pleasure before this battle, but agreed this may be best...

Arthur faced Omino then started to whisper. "Do not tell them who I am or who I was ok Omino?" Then he saw Sacer. Sacer that fool. He killed Athena. I will pay him back for that.

Sacer smiled wickedly and answered "Of course master. I will only do enough to scare him and make him stop threatening Diaphanous."

The fallen angel looked over to an unfamiliar pair. One of them seemed very recognizable, but Sacer put it past him as he sensed a deep power in one of them.

Who are these guys?

He turned his eyes back up to Enertro and quietly said with a smile."Do not worry, I will make our meeting brief master."

Omino looked down at the former Quickspeed. He could tell that Arthur had once had some problems with Enertro and Sacer. Omino could tell that Sacer was pretty powerful but he didn't know how powerful. Omino shook his head. He then thought to himself, Glad he is on our team. He went over to the others.

Arthur knew he didn't want to get involved with these matters. So he decided to just to sit back and watch what was about to ensue.

"Well Sacer, I may already have scared him at least a little. Just with a little womanly bitching, basically." Diaphanous grinned and chuckled. "As Enertro mentioned, and I want to reiterate, please do not hurt the stupid bastard." She could not help but laugh.

"Well, look who seems to be walking this way... Mr. Uber-kinesis," she said quietly to Sacer and Enertro, although it was likely that Omino heard anyway.

Diaphanous had never even been introduced to Omino, but she had been impressed with him right from the beginning. However, she could tell he seemed to underestimate her. Let him then. It is not as if we are fighting him.

Diaphanous put her arm around Enertro, and smiled at Sacer. I wonder if we can... help Sacer... somehow... She knew he literally had the weight of the world on his shoulders. Thinking back to L.A., and looking at him now... it was as if he was two different people. He was in so much pain. Sacer hid it well, but Diaphanous could read him like a book sometimes. Behind his warm greetings was a world of pain. She only wanted to lift some of it from him.

Fortuna stayed where she was while the others tried to locate Sacer. She kept channels open for them as she sobbed. If Sacer saw the white flowers going on for miles, maybe he would believe I really cared. Another tear fell, and the field of beautiful white flowers expanded.

Omino smiled at the couple. He hoped that there relationship wouldn't interfere with the battle. He would not let Enertro and Diaphanous get in the way of him getting to his homeland. Omino stuck out his hand to them and said, "Glad you were able to join us." Omino could tell off the back that Diaphanous was a mind bender. Telepathy wasn't something that Omino wasn't too interested in when he was studying the mind with his teacher. He did however learn how to use his powers to fend off against telepathy. Omino doubted that he would have to use those techniques against Diaphanous because they were on the same side. He was positive that Enertro had complete control over his people. Omino heard the sounds of another helicopter coming there way. It was bright yellow. Omino shook his head. "I suppose that is Mr. Bellis right there."

Arthur looked at Enertro and Diaphanous. They must of not know who he was. That was good since he didn't want to cause a fiasco. So Arthur walked toward Enertro and Diaphanous. "Hello I'm Arthur, the apprentice of Omino. I'm glad to meet both of you. What are your names?" Arthur put out his hand.

OOC- Hey everyone, my computer works again. Blastit and hyper, can we just assume Prism was on the helicopter to?

IC- Prism chilled against a wall. Interesting how time flied. Dia flipped out and messed up Surge. "Mental note, don't piss off Dia." But that would be easy, despite when he first met her, Prism never had any problems with Dia. In fact, he thought she was pretty cool. Prism looked at Surge. "Guess you learned who's bosss now, huh? Hey Legion, we never did get that sparr? Still up for it?"

Sacer replied again. "Of course my master; Surge shall go unharmed but I will make my point clear. No one challenges my masters...no one." His voice was cold and serious. The fallen angel may currently appear kind and gentle but on the inside he was still the brutal, merciless, and cold hearted killer that he always had been.

Perhaps a little reality distortion would be in order. A trick Alucard taught me that has proven quite useful. Maybe I can summon a few demons to scare the little bastard.

Thoughts raced through Sacer's mind about what to do with Surge. His twisted reverie was broken by Omino's approach.

"The name is Decimus, the fallen angel." he said extending his hand to Omino.

Omino shook Decimus' hand. "Omino, but all of you guys can call me Lew. I suppose that you are apart of Enertro's team." Omino could detect a strong dark power emanating from the being. He wasn't your ordinary warrior. Omino had finally meant a being whose powers rivaled his. Omino was very impressed. Omino wondered how Decimus had come into all of this power. He was sure it was a story that would last forever.

"Hello again, Lew," replied Enertro, bowing his head slightly. He looked at the one who called himself Arthur. Something was recognizable about the kid, but Enertro didn't press it. "Good evening, Arther. You have a good master to follow."

Enertro smiled at Diaphanous and squeezed her hand. He turned back to Omino and replied, "Sacer is a good friend of ours."

Shaking Omino's hand Sacer felt a wave of power that was astonishing. The fallen angel couldn't help but smile greatly.

Ah, incredible a mortal with such power!

"It's a pleasure to meet you Lew." He said shaking his hand vigorously. "This is Diaphanous and Enertro; my masters." He then extended his hand towards Arthor. "It's a pleasure to meet you as well."

Lew nodded and said, "Enertro and I have meant before. I heard a little bit about Diaphanous but not too much." He smiled at Diaphanous. Then Mr.Bellis' helicopter landed. Mr.Bellis quickly jumped out and said, "How are you all doing? Thank God we got out of LA. We could have gotten wiped out by that freak. Too bad he isn't on our team." He ran up to all of the generals and began shaking there hands.

The word 'freak' rang into Sacer's mind as his smile quickly turned to a frown.

He quickly turned his back to the man and began humming 'Sound Life' again to quell his growing anger.

Omino felt Decimus' anger heighten. He thought to himself, I wonder what is making him so angry? He looked at Enertro and said, "What happened in LA? When I left everything was normal."

Enertro noticed a hint of restraint on Sacer. He put a reassuring hand on him and smiled.

"A storm. A bad one..." he replied, not wanting to reveal Sacer's role in that...

"Mr. Bellis, good to know you're back," Enertro said as he shook Bellis' hand.

Sacer composed himself and turned around again smiling before whispering. "thank you master."

"Mr. Bellis is it, nice to meet you." he said with an obviosuly forced cheerfullness.

Mr. Bellis looked at Sacer and said, "Nice to meet you too." Omino could tell that Enertro was withholding information, but understood that it was neccessary. If Enertro had anything to do with what had happened in LA then he would be in a lot of trouble with the US. Omino looked at Mr. Bellis and nodded. Once Mr. Bellis was done with shaking everyone's hand he began to explain the plan. "We are basically going to use Mexico City as a hostage against the NJLU. We'll say if they don't come down here we will destroy all of Mexico City. They will be down here faster than a fatboy on a piece of cake."

"So we will hold the city hostage then? How exactly would we do that? If we want, we can plant bombs and the such? I'm sure Legion and Surge can help, especially with the many Legions we have," he chuckled.

"And if this fight turns out for the worse...boom, there goes the neighborhood. We can detonate several of the bombs at different times, so we can divert the NJLU's attention several times, until the city is gone, or the heroes themselves," he grinned wickedly.

"Destroy Mexico City huh?" Sacer said smiling wickedly and clenching his fist. "Would it be proper to destroy a smaller city to show we mean business?"

He looked up into the afternoon sky and muttered to himself. "Yeah, this is perfect for my ascension."

Mr. Bellis smiled. "Destroying a smaller city would show that we mean business, but I have a better idea. We could claim responsibility for what happened in LA. We could say that what happened there will be ten times as bad in Mexico City."

"What if we were actually responsible for what happened in L.A." Sacer said smiling proudly as he raised his hand towards the sky and black clouds began forming blocking out the sun completely.

"I'm more than I appear." The fallen angel boasted as he put his hand down and the ominous clouds quickly faded into the sky.

A jolt of fear raced through Mr. Bellis. I just called the guy who nearly destroyed LA a freak and he is right in front of me. Then a sign of inspiration came to him. He then said, "Well, aren't you the powerful one. Interesting. Very interesting. This should work out nicely. The NJLU will be down here so fast when they hear that the guy who took out LA is here in Mexico City with the World Governments. Omino looked up into the sky at the clouds and said, "Nice powers, Decimus. Where did you learn that technique? Hell?" Omino said it as a joke.

"Yes." Sacer answered with an stern tone.

Omino looked at Decimus with an eyebrow up and shrugged his shoulders. He then said, "You had to learn them from somewhere." He then began walking towards Mexico City.

Sacer watched as Omino walked off.

"Masters." He asked gently smiling slowly. "Might I go teach Surge his lesson now? I have suppressed my powers for too long and I need to release. I won't hurt him...too much."

Enertro sighed. "Ok Sacer, but remember. Not too much..." he replied, a look of seriousness in his face. "And not when Legion is nearby, as Legion will probably try to protect him...unless you do something to Surge that's all in his head..."

Enertro couldn't believe he was planning out the punishment of his best friend...But then again, he did treat Enertro's soul mate with disrespect...

Sacer smiled and evaporated into shadows that fell into the earth and vanished. The fallen angel followed the scent of Surge's vile hatred and soon found himself overlooking a room with Legion and Surge.

His master's advice rang into his head as the shadow from the ceiling dove into Surge's mind. Quickly he began playing with Surge's mind.

--Appearing only to Surge--

The room suddenly began melting away into darkness until it was nothing but a black void with Sacer staring back at Surge wickedly.

"Hello Surge, my name is Sacer, you knew me as Reave." he paused and continued. "I highly suggest you begin pissing yourself followed by praying to your incompotent god. Crying and cowering in a corner, always good. If you act now you might have enough time for a good ol' fashioned suicide."

"The Chromwell Effect is now in place." A mysterious disembodied voice boomed from the darkness.

Sacer suddenly morphed into a large three headed dog that approached Surge like prey.

"What is going on?" growled Surge as the room melted. "Reave? You imbecile! I should have gotten rid of you myself when that witch blasted your mind!"

Suddenly Sacer turned into a three headed dog. "Get away from me!" cried Surge as he began to run to nowhere in particular...

Legion was watching Surge with shocked horror. "General?"

The three headed predator approached Surge through the vacuumous space. As Surge tried to run he gained absolutely no ground as if on a tread mill; suddenly the dog opened its mouth and sucked Enertro's General in.

Surge fell until he landed in a strange red place where the ground was covered in thousands of moaning faces. Over the distance Alucard sat with his red uniform cursing under his breath. The vampire looked up and saw Surge.

"Another prisoner? Joy, now someone to play with!" He said crossing the hellish landscape.

"What is going on here!?" screamed Surge. He pulled out his gun and shot several times in the direction of Alucard.

Legion was about to hold Surge, who was running around randomly shouting out things, until he pulled out his gun and shot several times.

Legion dived out of the way, his hands over his head. "Surge! Stop that! You're gonna kill someone!"

The bullets passed straight through the pale figure and suddenly a giant hand wrapped around Surge. It was Brahms who was smiling with sinister intentions.

"We have a toy Alucard." The giant's voice boomed.

"That we do Brahms, that we do." The vampire said drawing his gun otherwise known as the 'hand cannon'. "Hold him tightly I would hate to hit a fatal spot."

Right as Alucard shot a sycthe tore through him and the bullet struck Brahms in the eye killing both. Reave stood victoriously over Alucard's lifeless body and stared at Surge.

"If you even look at Diaphanous the wrong way, if you even release gas within twenty feet of her, if you even breath to heavily around her I will bring you back here and break more than just my foot off in your ass." Suddenly the hellish prison shattered bringing Surge back to reality.

The shadow shot from Surge's head into the floor and disapeared.

Surge gasped as he was back in the room. Legion was covering his head in a corner, looking strangely at Surge.

"Did you see it too?" Surge asked shakily.

"I saw a madman trying to shoot me..." replied Legion.

"Yah...me too..." Surge answered, looking off towards where Diaphanous and Enertro walked off...

Sacer's shadow raced across the land until he reached Diaphanous and Enertro where from the shadow the handsome fallen angel remorphed.

"The deed is done; Surge will no longer trouble you my master." He said with a childish joy in his voice.

Enertro smiled weakly. "So what did you do to him?" He was very curious as to what torture Sacer may have done to Surge.

Prism was in shock. Surge had gone nuts and nearly shot everyone up. "It has to be Dia" he said in his mind. Prism walked toward Enertro and Dia. "Enertro, has a general I believe I have the right to know what the plan is." He looked at Dia. "Dia, what did you do to Surge? He almost shot me! I know you want revenge, but make sure he dosen't do that again!" Prism wasn't trying to sound pissed off, he was just jolted a bit from the experience.

Arthur sat down and watched the whole ordeal. "Man this people are creeps." But he had to work with them. Once he was done with this mission Omino would train him. That's all he wanted to do. Anymore nothing less. He did carry what these people did or would do.

Sacer smiled. "Secrets of the trade master, secrets of the trade." he said coldly before looking over to Prism.

Earlier, when Omino and Arthur were introducing themselves, she knew whom Arthur was immediately. Diaphanous did not even have to try telepathically hearing his comment about Athena, as it was infused with so much hate. Diaphanous narrowed her eyes and glared at Arthur. Different body, but he killed all those security people. He 'introduced himself', and Diaphanous responded, "I believe we have met, Arthur.", with vitriol in her voice.

She projected to Enertro telepathically, realizing it was likely that Omino could get through her signal, however, she wanted Enertro to have this information now.

Enertro... Arthur is QuickSpeed in a different body. We cannot trust him.

Diaphanous sent the same message out to Sacer. He would not be pleased.

She was also getting pissed off as she was being treated like "the little wife" and not a legitimate part of the team; and one of the masters at that! Despite Omino's powers, she could catch a few things... Enertro "having control over his people”, regarding her, and his demeanor suggested that he dismissed her as a nuisance.

Diaphanous was getting very angry by this point. She was being treated as if she was not part of the team, but just "Enertro's girl". Her eyes began to change color... ice blue... the entire eyeball. A strong wind whipped up and knocked over Arthur 'QuickSpeed', and Omino. Omino did not have a monopoly on all power.

Diaphanous began to walk away gritting her teeth, when Prism came running up to them accusing her of doing something to Surge. Oh no... What did Sacer do?!

"What are you talking about Prism? I have not done anything to Surge!” Diaphanous shot Enertro a worried expression. “I do not want revenge... revenge for what... the fact that he is a paranoid little weasel who wants to kill me? I would never bother with him unless it was in self-defense. Enertro is well aware of that." Diaphanous was a little worried about what Sacer may have done.

Diaphanous whispered to Enertro, “He promised he would not hurt Surge. Even I do not want him hurt. Please do not blame me.” She was worried that Enertro, in fact, would blame her. Sacer was only supposed to scare him.

"Is everyone OK Prism?" Worry filled her head. "What happened anyway?"

Sacer felt Diaphanous' anger, it was very pleasing to him, the wind swept by him and he could taste the wrath within the breeze. He put a hand on Diaphanous' shoulder.

"Do not worry master, I respect you for your powers. Not because you are Enertro's love. If you need to make a point to the group let me do it." He said smiling wickedly." Just like Surge they will get the point, they will respect you, they will fear you. Not just for your power, but for your control over me."

The skies began to blacken as his fury excited.

"Just give me the order my master." He added echoing over and over again.

"I appreciate it Sacer, but then everyone will just say I am useless and have to get others to do my dirty work. It seems no one but you and Enertro have any respect for me at all. Thanks Sacer. If I get into a situation I cannot handle, it is nice to know I have someone as strong as you to help me. Your loyalty is so very commendable. I truly admire loyalty."

Diaphanous gave him a quick hug and then sighed. She was sick of dealing with all these bitches... Surge, Omino it seemed, Bellis, who never bothered to introduce himself to her.

"Ahh... fuck it... Enertro, I will be in our room, if I am actually needed for any possible reason." She looked at the others with narrowed eyes. "I would not want to get in the way of all of your plans." She was nearly spitting anger and sarcasm.

Prism watched Dia walk off angry. He followed her. "If it's any consalation to you, no one got hurt, Surge just shot at stuff. Also, I know how you feel. I feel under apprerciated, despite the fact that I saved Enertro's life and killed a superbeing assassain. I don't even know what we're planning. So, I'm sorry if I sounded like a jerk, but your not alone."

Enertro looked at the others for a moment with a worried look on his face. He took off after his love, trying to catch up to her.

"My love, what is wrong? What must I do?" he asked worriedly, trying to get her to slow down.

"Thanks Prism. I do not underestimate you. Neither does Enertro, by the way. It is all the others. They do not even bother to introduce themselves... most of them. I am just sick of being treated like I am just Enertro's 'girl', and not a member of this team. So, if I am indeed rather useless, as Omino seems to think, and everyone from the other countries; Bellis and company, then I will not bother anyone. By the way... Arthur is QuickSpeed; same guy, different body." Diaphanous responded.

"Perhaps the two of us 'useless non-members' should go to the hotel bar and get drunk? Well, it seems they need you, but they have just dismissed me. I guess I may just as well go get drunk alone. Have fun."

She waved as she continued walking away.

"You are strong, it should not matter would those fools think." Sacer said quietly as she walked away. "Otherwise I would not serve you."

The fallen angel evaporated into the sky turning into an ominous black storm that pummeled the landscape in a heavy rain. Within the cloud Sacer sat in another dimension training his skills for the next battle.

The black clouds lit bright red for a moment before Sacer descended from the sky dawning a long black cape and crimson armor radiating in raw hatred. His dark wing reach out and wrapped around himself.

From the desert a army of demonic creatures burst from the ground kneeling before their new master. Thousands by the thousands of horrible hellish beasts. With a stroke of the fallen angel's hand the army vanished back below the earth.

Dei sum

"and the wicked shall inherit the earth." he muttered below his breath.

"Enertro, have you listened to a word I have said? Arthur is QuickSpeed! The one who killed all the security people in this organization! He is just in a different body. I am also sick of being dismissed as nothing but 'Enertro's little woman'. I read some minds and got the gist of everything most the people think here: I am just your woman, and not a part of the team... rather useless. Omino hopes you can 'control' me... referred to me derisively. Bellis never introduced himself to me. Apparently, I am of no use to this organization. Perhaps Surge is right. I should not be called 'master'. Prism is being treated the same way, and we both know he is strong. Apparently I do not count." Diaphanous was truly angry. Her eyes became solid white and turned to grey, and then to black, and continued to change those colors, slowly and then more rapidly. As she did so, clouds began to form and an unmistakable wall cloud appeared... the huge cloud dropped just a little, got darker, and began to spin slowly. Diaphanous laughed maniacally. "I guess I'm getting better with this wind thing... of course, Omino can probably just stop it, since he can do everything. You should well know that he would chastise you for not 'controlling' me. I have heard the words in his head."

Diaphanous' anger, had it reached a peak would likely strengthen the forming tornado to the point where Omino could not even stop it. People do underestimate the power of anger.

Now she had a great appreciation for Sacer's powers; turning the sky pitch black. Wait a minute, I have the power to create darkness as well! She grinned.

She knew she could only do it in a small area, but it was funny to her at the time.

"I might as well go to the hotel bar and get drunk Enertro. No one needs me here... I think I will just go to the hotel bar and get drunk. Tell Bellis to go fuck himself as well. Enertro, this has nothing to do with you, it is because I am with you, and they think you will be distracted by me. I guess they were right. Had they treated me as a team member, you would not need to run over here and ask what is wrong. Now all the 'I told you sos' are going around, I am quite sure. In addition, Surge will say he was right all along. Just because we are soul mates does not mean I am not a team member, but apparently, I am useless. I have been told as much and treated as such."

Meanwhile, the churning mass in the sky was on it's way to becoming an F-5 tornado. No one, other than Sacer could stop that.

Sacer watched the furious wind form into a powerful tornado.

That's it Diapahnous use your hatred. The darkness is path of power and I know that you know this now.

The fallen angel wondered if it was his presence that was causing Dia's shift. He didn't mind, it was difficult enough serving a master who drifted in the light but a master who shared his ideology would be perfect.

However the release of dark power had attracted a great enemy. Sacer squinted through the blackened clouds and felt the presence of the Death Angel.

The devilish figure flew high into the stratusphere and his voice boomed across the land.

"Angels of god I am calling you out! Come and meet your doom!" He challeneged the heavens as his eyes burned a blood red. "It is time!"

"That's enough angel of holy..." a familiar voice shrilled from behind.

"Ah, Gabriel, I wondered were you have been hiding." Sacer growled.

"You, fallen angel, will bow to the light." The angel of death said pointing his blade at Sacer.

In a quick clash of blades Sacer emerged victorious after shattering Gabriel's sword with his fist. After an quick assault punishing the angel of Death, Sacer grabbed him by the neck and shook the feeble servant.

"Go find The Guardian and Fortuna. Send me some real challengers you pathetic tool used to torture humans." He demanded before hurling Gabriel far into the atmosphere.

Sacer flexed his hand and sensed a greater power in him. Before he would never have defeated the Angel of Death so easily. Still he doubted he could battle the two angels at once.

"Let the battle for heaven begin." He said as the tornado below strengthened.

Fenrir awoke as he sensed something approaching. Gabriel landed rough and collapsed in the field of flowers.

The wolf sprinted by his side.

"Guardian! Fortuna!" The divine creature barked as he tended to the defeated Angel of Death.

"I know who Arthur is, my love. As long as he's with us, he could be used as bait! Diaphanous, don't go! I need you!" he shouted at the increasing winds, nearly drowning out his voice. "Please my love! Listen to me! Save your anger for the NJLU! We are so close to achieving our goals!"

Guardian had been awoken from his medatative prayers. "Gabriel! What has happened?"

Sacer could no longer control himself, his rage built to a pitch and black razor wire tore from his skin stretching for miles. He screamed in torment as the earth below cracked and shattered. The fallen angel's wing burst into flames sending Sacer into a frenzy of horrid pain.

It's time to awaken...

His armor shattered and fell to the earth in pieces like glass. What was left was a tortured figure. Blood and gashes in his skin were everywhere, a crimson fluid dripped from his eyes and mouth leaving stains on his pale skin. His once proud black wing was in wretched tatters. The only thing preventing him from being completely naked was a tattered pair of pants he wore under his armor.

Gabriel pushed himself to a knee after coughing a heep of blood.

"Guardian, forgive me, I tried to interfere. Bless god you are fine for a moment I had thought you perished. Lord help us." His words staggered and broken he collapsed and fell unconcious.

Fenrir's eye's snapped to the south and widened in terror. "Guardian..." The sky was being devoured by a crimson wave of black wrath and pain. "That can't be him, it's unthinkable." The wolf buried its head in the flowers.

Covered in every scar he ahd ever recieved, Sacer looked more like a burn victim than an angel. The army of demons he had summon were torn apart by the prying barbed wire from the fallen angel's sick form. His skin cracked and bled as he released a smile from slaughtering the confused army.

"Hell, Heaven...both need to be annihilated." He said weakly.

"Enertro, you fail to grasp the fact that I am not being treated as a part of this team at all! Look how they all dismiss me as if I am invisible." At that time, Diaphanous made herself invisible, however she continued to speak with Enertro.

"You do not know what it is like to be pushed aside as if you do not exist and are useless... Yes, I made myself invisible, as it does not matter to this group of people assembled to defeat the NJLU if I am here or not. Not only did Bellis not introduce himself to me, he did not even look at me! Am I really so pathetic that I cannot be considered part of the team? You are dismissing my situation as well! You just tell me to ignore it! How would you feel if it was the other way around? They look at me as 'Enertro's woman', not as Second Master of the organization. They want you to be sure to keep me in line, as if I am some useless interfering piece of garbage! I thought I was a meaningful part of this team with powers that were useful, and that I was an important part of the battle against the NJLU, but it seems that is not the case!"

Diaphanous made herself visible. She had tears in her eyes. "Why are they doing this to me? I am sure Surge is just thrilled that no one gives a shit if I am here or not... that my powers are useless and I am some underling. Enertro, I love you very much. However, if I am to be ignored, and am useless, what is the point of me bothering to be part of this team? I still cannot believe Bellis just looked right past me and introduced himself to everyone standing there, shook hands with everyone, but completely ignored me! I am supposed to ignore this slap in the face! Moreover, it is not only Bellis. Omino... everyone. Only Sacer believes I have any strength. He is the only one who has had faith in me all along... and maybe you. You certainly did not say a word to any of them when they dismissed me as invisible and treated me as something other than part of the team. I know if you were in this situation, you would not stand for it! Why should I?!" Diaphanous was so frustrated at this point.

"You see, now you are not 'controlling' me, and I am getting in the way and distracting you. You know damned well that is what they are thinking... or saying." Her eyes were still spinning dark cloud colors, as if they were slot machines. She looked over at Bellis and blasted him off his feet.

"I believe I am strong enough to be part of this team. I always thought I WAS part of this team. Apparently no one else does. Perhaps now that Bellis is flat on his ass, he will realize his error in dismissing me the way he did. Just rude. I want to go and slap him right in the face."

F-3 and rising.

Diaphanous took a deep breath, her eyes stopped their color changing, and the tornado evaporated, as well as the cloud cover.

"I am sorry my precious soul mate; my love. I am just so hurt. I do not understand. I think perhaps I will go and tell Bellis that I am Second Master in Command in our organization, and that he recognize that and respect me. You know we are stronger together. I know it as well. I am just pissed off that no one seems to realize that I am Second Master in this organization. I believe I will go and tell him so."

Diaphanous looked into Enertro's eyes, the hurt and anger showing. Through the hurt and anger, her unconditional love for Enertro showed through. She kissed him. "I love you," she simply said.

"Enertro, why don't we go back over there and I will set Bellis straight... Sound good to you?" She smiled at him lovingly.

As Dia's rage faded as did Sacer's twisted form. The barbed wire retracted itself back into his skin as the scars and charred skin healed themselves. The fallen angel's wing reformed to its darkened glory while Sacer fell from the sky back to Earth. He recovered in enough time to land gracefully an behold the remains of the demon army he conjured. The sight was putrid only outmatched by its ungodly stentch. A swift motion of his hand burned the pieces of corpses into cinders that drifted in the wing. He turned his eyes to where Dia would be gasping for breath.

What the hell just happened to me!?

He clutched his chest as he reeled in pain for the unsightly transformation.

That is what you truly are Sacer.

You identify yourself with Dia so much that when her anger rises, as did yours. When she felt useless as did you and your rage quickly reminded you of the human you really were, at a time when you were considerably feeble.

Sacer stared at the ground trying to put a finger on the harmonizing disembodied whisper that was filling his head.

Have you not wondered why you so faithfully serve Dia?

Images of Athena briefly flashed into Sacer's head.

There you go. You and her are similiar souls, you share the same destined spirits bound by the love of another.

I serve her and Enertro so that they might purify this sickened world as I will to heaven and hell. THAT is why I serve them.

It is a sin to lie to another, but a damndable act to lie to onself and actually be convinced by it. The devil has taken deep roots even in one as strong and proud as yourself Holy.

It's too late to beg for forgiveness.

It's never too late for those who genuinely want to be forgived...like yourself. Not one evil act you have done hasn't brought with it its weight in guilt. All the suffering, torment, and despair you have felt was brought upon by your forlorn anguish from the absence of the light.

Sacer fell to the ground clutching his head.

The fallen angel was openly weeping.

Alucard, Brahms, Hrist, and Damien were all slain the day you died on the battlefield by your very hand. However, your vindicative behavior was so powerful and so angry that it manifested them into corpreal forms. You brought hell on earth to punish yourself. Your suffering was all your own creation.

Sacer dug his fist into the earth trying to deny what he knew was ultimately true. Still he shook his head in denial.

Fenrir too is your own creation. He is the half of yourself that wants to see you punished, the half you created. Have you never wondered why he always opposses you? Why he always decieved you? You created him for that exact purpose. Unlike Alucard and the rest, he is a portion of your soul and you must love him.

We in heaven couldn't figure this out for the longest time until we had some assistance from the only person who knew. Someone who has cried everyday since you left, somone who has almost fallen because of your suffering. Please Holy, come home.

It is destiny...that I remain here and complete my sentence.

The fallen angel wiped the tears from his proud face and began walking back towards the group.

Fiona watched on from the heavens weeping heavily as she once again failed to save the fallen angel Sacer.

She reached her hand out towards him desperately and laughed as she mused "You never even questioned why Fenrir never dies..."

Fenrir watched the crimson clouds receed back over the horizon and suddenly he fealt a sharp pain in his heart. He reeled back on his heels and let a howl of pain while blood dripped from his mouth.

You were nothing but a fake, a tool of torment! Stupid beast stop hurting my angel! My lovely angel!

Fiona pulled on a series of strings that gripped the wolf's heart and squeezed it.

Sacer squinted into the sky and something caught his eye reaching down to earth.

"You foolish bitch..." Sacer growled before charging the sky.

OOC: Don't use any of the forur archangels yet. I was planning on using them in a future post. They are going to have a key role in the story. Sorry about not being able to get on. I'll try to get on again as soon as possible.

ooc: alright, was gonna have Sacer beat the living hell out of em since Hyper won't be on in a while. I'll have him talk to Fenrir one more time about what Fiona told him.

ooc: Wait for me for the big battle! I'll be back Wed. @Blastit. I was hoping you would have replied, somewhat extensively, so that I could reply back. I hope you at least go back and read my last posts. I've been posting these long posts to Enertro, and getting two sentences back. That is why I am going with the idea that he is kind of ignoring her problems as well as the others. Too preoccupied to listen to her or something. (That's the way Enertro is coming across now, in case you didn't notice.) I don't want to miss too much, but I have to go for 3 days.

"Enertro? Are you listening to me?" Diaphanous asked, as he had not replied or said a word. *sigh... "I thought you loved me, however, the last several conversations we have had, consisted of me talking in great length about my problems, and you telling me to blow everything off!" Diaphanous was at a loss. "I am going to the bar. Tell Bellis to fuck off please."

She turned on her heal and headed to the hotel. Damn, even Enertro, my soulmate, is dismissing all my concerns. By this time she was choking back tears. Enertro had always been there for her; to listen... really listen... not ignore her concerns as he had the last few times they spoke. I will not believe he does not love me! What is wrong with him! Perhaps the NJLU really is more important than I am. Diaphanous was beginning to feel numb by now.

Diaphanous felt utterly alone. She began to think that he was pushing her aside, as he was preoccupied with beating the NJLU. Well, she was supposed to be a part of that. She kept walking...

Not even aware of it, as she was walking away, Diaphanous was singing, in a wonderful timbre which ended in a beautiful high suprano...

Soooooooooo... On the first evening a pebble...
From somewhere out of nowhere lands upon the sleeping worrrrrrld.

Sooooooooo... On the second celestial evening...
All the children of the pebble join hands and compose a waaaaltz.

A tear rolled down her cheek.

Sacer began tearing the clouds apart looking for Fiona, but she was clever enough to flee before the fallen angel had reached her.

Her words rang through his mind torturing himself. "You brought hell on earth to punish yourself. Your suffering was all your own creation." He was reminded over and over again as he fell towards the earth with a hollow thud.

Sacer lied in the desert sand staring hopelessly into the sky; he felt utterly alone and pathetic. As if he could no longer continue fighting.

Yeah that would be nice. Maybe rest for a while, let my mind heal, hell even have fun for once in my miserable existance. I don't have the will to fight anymore.

He slumped against a building holding his head in his hands as tears fell down his face.

I can't go on anymore.

Suddenly he heard his master singing in a gentle tone that only wrenched his heart. He lowered his head even further sobbing heavily and gritting his teeth in bitter frustration.

I cannot even grant my master happiness. I have failed to serve My lord, master, man, and even myself.

The fallen angel summoned a black dagger and placed it against his last wing.

"Without this maybe I can finally rest in peace." He growled to himself slowly sawing into the bone of his wing.

When the breeze that supposedly knocked Omino over came he just used geokinetics to merge with the ground. He said to himself, "Someone is angry. Enertro sure has himself a fiesty one. I can't wait to meet her in battle. Perhaps I shall go speak with this lady." As Lew approached her he could feel her emotions jumping all over the place. She was really lonely. Lew burrowed underneath her and then popped up right in front of her. He then stood there and said, "What is your problem, Diaphanous?"

Haze and Hatman teleported up to the Watchtower. There Haze began going over different scenarios with all of the superheroes.

OOC: Sorry I haven't been on for the last two days.

Arthur got up from the ground. He could taste the dirt. Spitting the dirt out he looked at Diaphanous. So what if they knew that he use to be Quickspeed? Arthur went up to Diaphanous. A few feet away from her he shot a beam of light to blind her. The he started to run to grab her.

Before finishing his half hearted suicide Sacer surrounded the area in a void of darkness immediately trapping his master and her assailant.

"Run all you like fool you'll only tire yourself out. Ha, Arthur, you always were so brash; maybe I should call you Kid Flash or Quickspeed or maybe I should call you dead." The fallen angel's voice boomed over the darkness.

From the blackness of nothingness Sacer approached in a form Arthur would recognize.

"It would be unwise to go after my master no matter the circumstances." He added. "Maybe you could be so kind as to enlighten me; what the hell are you doing here?"

Music from the tavern seeped in through the void and hung around hauntingly. Sacer closed his eyes as he absorbed Johnny Cash's song Hurt.

"Ah my favorite song. Come Arthur, we have much to discuss, I haven't seen you a while and the bad blood between us both is blatantly futile."

The song was a sweet remorse to Sacer as he thought back to Athena and Quickspeed's promise.

"I'll buy you a drink." Sacer said smiling as the void melted away with a flick of his hand.

Enertro sighed as Diaphanous walked away. He walked the opposite way, looking for Mr. Bellis.

I never knew women could be so demanding... he thought. Enertro had never had a girlfriend before, and only heard information such as he just found out, from friends who did have girlfriends. He was saddened at Diaphanous believing he didn't care. He really did. It just seemed as though he had nothing more to say, other than what he did say to his love.

He finally saw Mr. Bellis. "Mr. Bellis, I would like to ask that you address my partner by name, if she is around. Her name is Diaphanous, and it would be wise for you to remember that."

Guardian had been healing Gabriel when Fenrir rushed up to Fenrir. "Fenrir, what is wrong? What is happening?"

Too much for one angel to do... he thought sadly as he glanced back over at the unconcious Gabriel.

"Call me what every you want Sacer. I'm only here to master my powers from Omino. Omino said if I helped him he would train me. So I'm here to serve my master. Also I don't want anything to drink from an enemy. I just wanted to talk to Diaphanous how I'm working with her. Also I plan to make myself more then an enemy. I have come to get rid of the NJLU too. They have betrayed me and made a fool of me." Arthur sat at a table inside the tavern. He could never forgive Sacer for killing Athena. She was beautiful, but Sacer had destroyed that. Arthur had vowed to protect Athena, but she had been killed by Sacer. He remeber the kiss he gave on her cheek. That would be avenged one day.

Fenrir helped heal the battered angel and tried to deduct what was happening with Sacer.

"There was a scream of such terrifying hatred and suffering and then it faded. It's as if he reached the limit to his horrid power, became frightened of it, and he himself became afraid. Sacer is losing control and his mind." The wolf sorrowfully said to the Guardian.

Sacer looked Arthur in the eyes. "I too am here to serve my master. As for Athena." The fallen angel averted his eyes from Arthur's. "It was a vindicative feeling that I haven't had since I was a demon slayer for god. The feeling that she needed to be purge and by the time I came to remember who she was..." The tone in his voice was weak and scared.

He looked out the window towards Enertro.

"I have lost any trace of home, I have lost my closest friend, and I have lost my love. Now I just seek to serve my master before while sitting on death row." Sacer knew he wasn't going to win the next battle and a combination of fear and frustration filled the fallen angel.

"I am simply bidding my time before I die and then I can finally rest. Then you will have your happy revenge and I will have my blessed death." He finished with his eyes wandering around the room.

Destiny is such a bitch. He thought inhaling a third drink.

"Why did you do?" Arthur looked down at the floor. Then he looked back up again. Tears were coming down from his eyes. "She did nothing. Then you killed her for now reason. You loved her." Arthur got up from his seat. Then looked directly at Sacer.

"Master had erased my memories the day before and I was pure again. I had the same feeling I had as the angel Holy. I found out she sacrifice over forty humans in reviving me and I went berserk. Without my memories and with my ancient wrathful spirit I slew the women who made me human." He said as he tilted his head down in remorse.

"Would god allow such a cruel thing to happen; to trick a man into killing his love? After all that has been placed to me, all these scars of the demon knights laying their putrid burdens on me. You would think that God could at least let me keep the one I loved. After all my service in the kingdom of heaven, after my constant sacrifices, and not even then could I be rewarded. This immortal pain is a constant reminder that god is dead." Sacer's voice began rising as he relisted all his anger and bitterness.

The sky darkened and the fallen angel's eyes turned a hellish red.

"If god isn't dead then I'll make it so." He finished gritting his teeth and leaving the bar more determained than ever.

Fenrir felt his rage and was recoiled by its focus.

"Sacer is in control, but it would be better if he weren't. I've never sensed this hatred in him before." The wolf admitted frightened. "I must go see him."

The wolf sprinted to the south kicking up clouds of dirt in his wake.

Arthur turned and faced Diaphanous. He had nothing to say to Sacer. Sacer would get he own one day. "Why did you attack me? I'm on your side. I no longer work for the NJLU. Tell me Diaphanous." Arthur sat back down at the chair and welcomed Diaphanous to sit down.

Guardian looked after Fenrir. "Many apologies, Gabriel...Things have not been looking well and many things are on my mind..."

Guardian looked towards Fortuna. "Should we follow him?"

Mr. Bellis looked at Enertro and said, "Did I offend one of your generals? My apologies. I have a lot of things on my mind. With the planning of the attack and all. I am nervous that I am going to start World War III." Mr. Bellis shook his head and walked away.

Fenrir pounced across the terrain before coming across where he sensed Sacer's anger. From the ridge he saw Diaphanous, Arthur, Enertro, Omino, and another figure. He took one step before a shiver shot up his spine and a cold hand was placed on his back. The wolf snapped around and saw the mighty fallen angel smiling wickedly.

"Fenrir..." Sacer growled.

"Sacer..." Fenrir immitated.

The two once ancient comrads stared each other down before Sacer leaned into a combat stance.

"Wait!" The wolf pleaded "I did not come here to fight!"

Sacer smiled and muttered "...I did!"

The fallen angel began an relentless barrage of kicks of punches that slung the wolf through the air and made him collapse next to Diaphanous, Enertro, Arthur, and Mr. Bellis. Struggling to his feet the divine canine fired a series of blasts from his mouth, which Sacer avoided with ease.

"Oho! What has made you stronger Fenrir?" Sacer said while Fenrir clamped onto his arm and tore it from the socket. Fenrir dropped the limp limb before responding with a growl in his tone. "I don't want to tell you!" Suddenly the torn limb snapped off the ground and gripped the wolf's neck with an unbelievable grip.

"I've spent some time figuring out how many people I've killed. So far I've calculated up 465, 680 humans, 1,230 demons, and the way I figure it...7 divine figures with one wretched wolf." He finished with a sick smile on his face.

"You are beyond forgiveness; a demon who plays as an angel." The wolf challenged trying to paw off the arm clutched onto his throat.

Prism had snuck back to where Enertro and the others were having a meeting. He wanted to know what was gong on. But then Fenrir and Sacer started fighting, and Fenrir almost slammed into him. He muttered a few explicitives rather loudly, giving away his presence. "Crap." he thought. "Well, uh, whatsup everyone?"

The wolf was now short of breath as Sacer's missing limb clutched even tighter around Fenrir's throat. Slowly the divine dog fell to the ground growing ever weaker.

The fallen angel saw Prism and smiled. "Hey, long time no see." All the while strangling Fenrir with his sperated arm.

"Hey, whatsup Revae. Or is it Sacer? Sorry, its kind off confusing." Prism was glad to see Revae/Scaer remembered him. Which hopefully meant he wasn't going to kill him. After all, this guy just had his arm ripped off and is still going strong. "Don't want to mess with that".

"Omino," Diaphanous could not help grinning as he popped out of the ground in front of her, "It is quite simple. I am sick of being dismissed as nothing but 'Enertro's Woman'. I am Second Master in the organization. Bellis did not even introduce me. I have been dismissed by everyone here, as well as underestimated." When she said 'underestimated', she looked directly at Omino.

"I am well aware you are one of the more powerful beings here, but I do not care to be looked upon as some sort of fledgling... and it has gone on far too long. All I said is that if I am useless and everyone else can cover for me, I will just go to the bar." Her eyes were narrowed as if waiting for him to tell her again, how she was not much of a challenge.

Diaphanous took a deep breath. "Omino, you are one of the few that have congregated here whom I have been interested in. You are very powerful, and innocently coming across your derisive thoughts pisses me off. I agree that you are stronger than I am. You are stronger than almost everyone here is, however, I do not like being pushed aside, as I have been by everyone around here, as if I am not a useful member of the team, and only here as Enertro's girl. No one introduced himself or herself to me, and I am ready to smack Bellis, as he never so much as looked at me. Better yet, I could do something a little more fun." Diaphanous grinned, thinking how it might come across if he had been speaking Aborigine or hell, Klingon for that matter!

"I only want to be treated with a modicum of respect, Omino. I think that is understandable considering what I am grappling with here, which is more than you can suck from my mind. Try to read my mind and I will sing I'm Henry the Eighth I Am in a continuous loop." Now Diaphanous could not keep a straight face and started laughing. She shook her head back and forth. "Sorry... I am truly not a nut case, just a bit stressed. I should find a spa in this place. I hope we have some free time prior to the NJLU junk, which may not happen in any case. There are much bigger things going on around here that dwarf all of us."

Diaphanous looked up at Omino. "I have this thing called... oh... maybe a sixth sense, and I can feel good and bad Mojo." She told him. "I can feel you are not from this earth. Neither am I, however I am from this dimension." Sincerely, she looked him in the eyes. "I hope you find your way home Omino," she almost whispered.

A second prior Arthur’s light beam, Diaphanous sensed it and turned to face Arthur, making herself invisible, so the beam went right through her. He was unable to grab her, as she was not 'there', so to speak.

Diaphanous' voice came from in front of Arthur. "What is my problem? You killed all our security for no reason whatsoever! What do you think my problem is. As far as Athena is concerned, my intentions were honorable; to stop Reave's pain. Instead, by erasing his memory, he did not remember Athena."

Diaphanous was invisible, but it was likely that Arthur knew she was crying.

Diaphanous followed invisibly and listened to Sacer and Arthur in the tavern, as that is where she was going anyway. She made herself visible after listening to their conversation.

Diaphanous was sobbing. "Sacer! I am so sorry! I never meant to hurt you or Athena!" She could hardly catch her breath. "It was my entire fault! I wanted to remove your pain. Had I not done that, you would have remembered Athena! It is all my fault! Mine alone! God did not allow it, it was I... all with good intentions! It was my fault alone! If you need revenge Sacer, I am the one who should be receiving it! I am so very sorry!" Diaphanous got up and ran out of the tavern, sobbing, unable to bear the pain of what she had done.

Suddenly, Fenrir showed up and began to fight Sacer. "Sacer, Fenrir, no!" Diaphanous yelled to them, as Fenrir was thrown, landing at Diaphanous' feet.

"Fenrir!" That was all she could say. She looked into the beautiful wolf's eyes and stroked him, still sobbing. "This is all my fault! Do you not see?" Diaphanous yelled to all of them. "Sacer, had I not tried to ease your pain, A... Athena would still be alive! My fault!" She put her arms around Fenrir, sobbing. "Sacer, just wreak your vengeance on me! It is my fault. I know you can never forgive me! I was t...trying to h... help, and I destroyed Reave! I do not know what to say, Sacer, other than it is me you should be after." Diaphanous looked up at Sacer, tears running down her face, almost unable to digest what she had done.

Enertro, help me! It is all my fault! Diaphanous projected to Enertro. I am so sorry for my behavior, but I cannot deny my guilt in this entire debacle with Sacer, Arthur, the angels... Fenrir is here fighting Sacer right now, she sobbed.

I did not mean to be so ornery earlier. I love you more than anything, Enertro. Please come and be with me. I need you. I need my soul mate. Forgive me for my earlier behavior.

Diaphanous felt that everything going on around her and with the battle of the angels, was started by her meddling... trying to help Reave. She was forlorn by this point. If the world is destroyed, it will be indirectly by my hand.

"Guardian... I think we should follow...." Fortuna replied.

His arm let go of the wolf's throat, floated back, and reattached itself smoothly. Sacer looked at Diaphanous confused.

"Master, if it is one thing I've realized it's that suffering is the greatest way to reveal one's true potential. Athena was destined to die for her very existance relied on taking the lives of the innocent. When I take power no one will ever suffer again."

Fenrir struggled to his feet coughing and then began barking ferociously: "Shut the fuck up already Sacer! Everything done to you was by your own hand and you know it! Stop trying to blame god for your own faliure you miserable demon."

Sacer looked at the wolf viciously as Fenrir continued. "You betrayed a direct order and fell because of it. God gave you a perfect life that you wasted because you had to continue fighting and became a knight. Had you never became a knight, you would have married Athena and never have commited the original sin that tore your soul into pieces."

The fallen angel smiled and admitted. "Athena's 'husband' was a drunk and a coward who bought her while I was away. Then he had the stomach to attack me when I returned. Death was too good for that fool."

The wolf growled with even more fury and yelled again. "You created Alucard to punish yourself because of what you had done. If you only showed a little faith from the star-" Sacer shot his arm straight into the wolf's mouth and absorbed the divine wolf.

"He was getting annoying." Sacer grumbled. "You, on the other hand, master never meant to harm me. You were the only one who tried to save me even in my darkest hours and thus I serve you. The road to hell is not paved with good intention; I know that for a fact as I've walked that road many times." He said gently grabbing her hand and looking into her eyes. "I need you to be strong so that I can fix everything. When you're weak, I'm weak, but when you're strong..."

Omino was glad that Diaphanous was smiling. He told her he didn't mean to make her feel inadequate. "I think that you are very strong I have just had many things on my mind. When Arthur shot the beam of light at Diaphanous he grabbed the light as it passed through her. He then took the energy and absorbed it. He looked at Arthur and thought to himself, Is this boy dumb or what?

Enertro was beginning to follow Bellis when thoughts shot through his head. "Diaphanous!" he shouted, running towards the bar in which his love went to.

No, my love. It is I who should be forgiven. I need to change from my old ways, when I was the only master. When I felt no love. You are not at fault here. My love, None of this was your fault...it is mine to bear as well.. he thought back to Diaphanous, running as best he could in his armor, cape flapping behind him.

"Then let us be off and be finished with this...." Guardian replied angrily. His strange wings transformed into the usual bird-like wings as he took off into the sky, floating in midair, waiting for Fortuna. "Gabriel, if we do not come back, make sure to protect as many humans as you can..."

So Arthur now knew who really caused the death of Athena. It was Diaphanous fault. Diaphanous broke up Sacer and Athena. Arthur would get his revenge. So he would have to break up her and Enertro. Even if they meant dying. Arthur kept this hidden inside so Diaphanous couldn't get to it. For now he would try to treat her with some respect. Arthur walked outside to see a wolf, Sacer, Diaphanous, and Omino. Arthur wondered who is this wolf was. Then he went to Omino's side. "I'm sorry Master. I justed wanted to talk to Diaphanous. What should we do?"

Diaphanous looked at Sacer, still sobbing, lamenting the loss of Fenrir. "Sacer... you have always been my friend, and I tried to help, and ruined your future prospects. However, now... I am sorry if I am weak... but you are hurting me!"

Diaphanous broke out sobbing even more than she was previously, which would have been hard to imagine.

She grabbed a hold of Sacer and held him. "Please... do not hurt..."

Enertro arrived at the scene, watching Diaphanous crying more than ever before. He did not notice Fenrir.

"My love, I am here. What has happened?" he asked, not sure if he should break Diaphanous away from Sacer. Where's Fenrir? he thought to Diaphanous, as he searched the area for him.

"Diaphanous, you have caused Sacer too much damage. Just leave him to fight his own battles. Oh you are hurting. How about Sacer hurting? He killed his only love beacause of you! Let him go Diaphanous" Arthur said in a stern voice.

When Diaphanous saw Enertro, she ran immediately into his arms. "Sacer swallowed up Fenrir." She was still sobbing. "It hurts..." This is when she realized that she must be some sort of empath, although how, who, why, when the intense empathy rose was not static.

"Enertro, my love, my soul mate... forgive me for everything. I was just being bitchy before." She kissed him passionately. "Enertro, the bad Mojo is increasing and I am quite sure I know where it was coming from... not Sacer. Let us never be separated! We are stronger together. Perhaps we will be okay through all of this." Diaphanous looked deeply into Enertro's eyes. "It seems I have some link to Sacer, although I do not know what it is... other than... that I ruined his life!" The tears were flowing freely again. "I am sorry Enertro."

"Sacer, I am so sorry... I thought... no pain..." Diaphanous' words were just that;disjointed words.

"Do you not think I am aware of that Arthur!" Diaphanous yelled at him. "This is exactly what I have been saying all along. I tried to stop his pain. I did not mean for any of this to happen. Therefore, I believe Sacer's wrath should be toward me, although my intentions were truly good. I only wanted the best for Reave/Sacer."

Arthur's accusing look just made her more miserable. Diaphanous fell to her knees. "I want to fix this! I never wanted Athena to die! I wanted them to meet again anew!" There was no more she could say.

"Enertro, will you hold me? And shield us from Arthur?," she projected to Enertro telpathically. "I can tell from the blinding hatred in his voice that he wants me dead."

Fortuna followed Guardian to the site of all the turmoil. "I hope you know where we are going, as I do not. Guardian, may God bless you and be with you tonight." Fortuna needed to say this to her wonderful friend.

Arthur knew that Diaphanous was speaking the truth. He also knew that he had caused Diaphanous. Tears started to come down from his eyes. When first wanted to become a hero he wanted to help people not destroy. He had come the opposite of that. He had killed and hurt people. Arthur turned away. "My sorry Diaphanous for all that I have done to you. I hope you will believe me." Inside it was all true.

"Arthur, you have not done anything to me other than show your anger toward me for my horrible mistake. Please believe me... it was not supposed to be like this. Of course I forgive you... Will you then forgive me?" Diaphanous asked.

"Sacer, can you ever forgive me?" She could not even look him in the eye. Diaphanous was so ashamed that her blunder hurt Sacer to the core, and caused him to change into the being before her now... causing her much pain with his hatred, what he did to Fenrir; Sacer's entire life and outlook was destroyed because of her blunder.

Diaphanous looked up at Sacer, tears flowing down her face. "Th... there is n... nothing I can do... I cannot fix my mistake. I destroyed your likely imminent happiness, and there is nothing I can do to change the result."

She was back to full blown sobbing. "I turned you into this hateful angry creature! Despite your past, your present is my fault! Your anger and hatred and need to destroy... It is all my fault. Y... you e...even killed F...Fenrirrrrrrr!" Diaphanous covered her eyes and continued sobbing. She had never broken down like this in her life.

Diaphanous grabbed onto Enertro's leg and leaned her forehead against it, wracked with sobs, as she knew she set something horrible in motion, not to mention ruining Sacer and Athena.

"Athenaaaaaa!" She screamed. "Come baaaaaack! It was a mistaaaake!"

Diaphanous was overwhelmed with uncontrolled emotion, which, to her dismay, played havoc with her powers. "No!" she cried when she saw the wall cloud in the distance, lightening dancing from cloud to cloud, striking the earth occasionally. Get a hold of yourself Diaphanous!

Arthur came to Diaphanous and touched her on the back. "I forgive, but I also must forgive myself for what I have done. All the killing and pain." Arthur stopped cry. "There is nothing you can do Diaphanous. What's been done is done. You need to cheer up." Arthur grabbed her face and kissed Diaphanous on the cheek, then walked back to Omino.

Diaphanous stood up next to Enertro, incredulously, as Arthur walked away. She stopped her sobbing, watching Arthur.

"Thank you Arthur." Diaphanous replied, almost in a whisper.

It seems Sacer has even forgiven me. I am having more difficulty forgiving myself than anyone else. She mused, as she put her arm around Enertro.

Omino popped up out of nowhere and said to everyone it is time. He told them that the NJLU were on there way. There had been a report of many attacks outside of Mexico City. "Get ready to brawl." Omino walked back out to the field and waited for the NJLU.

Haze saw the report come flashing on his screen. He looked at Static and Robin and said, "It is time. They wanted it and now we have to give it to him." All of the NJLU along with the Teen Titans ran to the teleporter. Bart then said, "It is time for us to face our destiny.

Enertro embraced Diaphanous, holding her tight. "My love, everything will be alright. We will win this battle, and soon the world will be ours, our dreams will come true."

"We will marry under one of those beautiful trees with the white blooms. It will be sunny, very few clouds in the sky. We'll start a family with many children and watch as they grow to continue our legacy," he whispered as he brushed his nose against hers. "And we'll live happily ever after." He added a kiss. He could not wait for these dreams to come true...

"I have seen Fenrir travel this way, but that is as good as my directions can get, unless one of the NJLU reports their findings."

"My good friend, Fortuna, let it be known that being your friend is one of the greatest achievements of mine. I do no know what I would do without Fortune being at my side," he called our behind him at the trailing angel.

As the group of heroes dropped down on the opposite side of Mexico City, Haze sent a telepathic message to the two angels, We have reports that there will be an attack on Mexico City. I am not sure whether or not it will be a trap. I think Sacer may be involved. He waited for a reply.

"Hey Omino what do you want me to do?" Arthur knew this was going to be the final battle.

The Final Battle, Prism thought. He might die in this fight. But he would take someone with him. Prism pulled out the Gold Medallion's disk. This could be a good weapon. He made himself mentally ready. "Enertro. When all this is over, what do we do?"

"Why, we prepare ourselves for the rest of our goals, Prism," Enertro responded with a smile, still holding Diaphanous in her strong arms. He never wanted to let go.

Prism smiled at the answer. Perfect. Everything he dreamed of would finally be his. He punched his fist into his open hand and let the flames erupt out. Bring it on.

Sacer looked on frustrated as his master weeping and begging for forgiveness.

"You are not as strong as I once believed you to be and now I know you not worthy to be my master." His tone was brutal and vicious as a red aura surrounded him. "Our connection is severed so your remorse will not burden me in battle."

A blue mist released from his arm and faded into the wind. "Go to hell Fenrir."

"All humans are weak and pathetic. How many must fall before the worthy few rise? They make me sick; not so much as demons and angels, but on the verge of the necessity of being annihilated." He muttered below his breath angirly.

What kind of being is not willing to harm its servants to gain more power.

He raised his hand to the skies and clouded in a black cover that stretched down and absorbed the fallen angel.

"Come my love...Sacer doesn't seem to be on our side any longer," Enertro whispered in Diaphanous' ears, creating a nearly invisible energy shield around the both of them. It probably could not protect them from the worst that Sacer could do...but it may protect them from death.

Guardian noticed the clouds forming in the distance. "Fortuna, I believe we have found our target..."

"Don't worry, I wouldn't waste my time attacking your kind." His voice boomed from the heavens.

Good my master, run from me, get as far as possible before the real battle begins. If the angels see you on my side, lord only knows what they'll do to you afterwards.

"Oh crap." Prism was so confused. "Whats up with that guy? I know he had a hard existance, harder than I will ever experience, but why is he constantly switching sides. I hope he keeps that promise he just made."

That's when it happens; the moment you break. A thousand years of brutal suffering that you knew was out of your control, but yet, you still believed. You had faith because that's all you had left and after a while you lose hope; you let go into the abyss. Your heart becomes blackened by its own hatred wraught from your forlorn existance. A blackened heart is harmless, however, until you revive it and make it pure again, show it the light, and the good in the world. Then you break that heart by taking all that away and have the heart know nothing can ever be right again. Now it becomes angry at the enitre world for the hurt it tries to carry with it. Some try to save the poor soul, but only suffer with it, and then he falls into he void of his own misery taking everyone within reach. In this case, the universe.

Sacer descended from his darkened throne in massive black armor, anchored by chains and barbed wire from the cloud. The sky suddenly shifted a deep red at the rising of the fallen angel's hand. Upon touching the ground the soil immediately died and blackened, the chains and barbed wire snapped and formed a sick cloak trailing behind him.

"It is time for the destruction of it all." He growled with a majestic temper.

"Enertro, it all sounds wonderful." She kissed him. Married. Diaphanous smiled at the idea... A perfect life.

Then Sacer had reacted horribly to her guilt for what she did to him, and created a violent reaction in her.

As creation of darkness was also one of Diaphanous' powers, she could see Sacer clear as day. "Trying to run away, coward!" Diaphanous screamed at him. "Is this what you want, motherfucker!!?"

"Sacer... You BASTARD!!!" Diaphanous yelled. "You do not appreciate that I care for you?" Her eyes were turning solid black... No white showing at all. It was an odd sight; a woman with nearly white hair and solid black eyes.

"For your information, Sacer, I am not human, however, that is unimportant. I never saw you as my servant, even when you were Reave! I saw you as my friend! Can you not understand the concept? You want me to use you? You stupid motherfucker!", she yelled, venom in her words. "So if you win this battle and turn on your own, what do you have left? You plan on getting rid of Heaven, Hell, Demons, and Humans... I think that leaves you and cockroaches! Well, I guess you must be quite full of yourself to enjoy such a life!" Diaphanous' eyes were now slits. She felt the barrier put around her by Enertro and telepathically thanked him, as she could not take her eyes off that traitor.

"TRAITOR! You have always been a traitor, and I overlooked it! I was with you from the beginning trying to help you, and you are angry that I give a shit?!" She began walking toward him slowly. It appeared as though she had no eyes due to the stark blackness. "What is wrong with you? I have met people who made bad decisions, but usually after a couple times they learn from them. You just keep ruining your own life! Pushing away the good you might have! Something you might enjoy!"

Diaphanous realized that Enertro was most likely frightened for her and did not want her to provoke Sacer, however, Diaphanous had a temper that was at times uncontrollable. All her people did, and it was something they had to learn to control as they aged. She still had trouble with hers, and she did not care about the consequences of what she was doing. Preserving her honor and dignity were more important.

"How dare you call me weak, you bastard!" Diaphanous continued her diatribe. The wall cloud that formed previously, then dissipated, began to reform, turn black, and sink low quite quickly... all with a bit of a spin beginning. The lightning returned.

"If I was weak, would I put you in your place knowing you are stronger than me?" She challenged him for an answer. "I do not think so. You ruined everything!" She stopped three feet in front of him, her anger yet rising, which caused her eyes to change; one completely red, one completely black. Perhaps what she was on her planet is what they referred to as a demon here on Earth. The thought pissed her off.

"You are nothing but a sentient bulldozer... just mowing down everything! Well, my friend, a bomb can do what you are doing! Big deal!"

The words gave her an idea. Telepathically, she projected to Enertro:

Does Surge have the nukes yet? It may be the only way. I am NOT letting this bastard get away with dismissing me after being my so-called friend! Where ARE Surge, Legion, Contra, and everyone else? It might be nice if they were here now! Do not worry about me, my love. If I die, I shall die knowing true honest love, and that I found my soul mate. Not everyone finds his or her soul mate before death. We are so lucky. Wait a minute. Because I love you so much and do not want to be separated from you, I refuse to die! That is that!

Diaphanous red right eye was emanating red light. Her anger only increased as she looked at the traitor she thought was her friend. I cannot believe he backstabbed me!

"Because Athena cared about you, you would have considered her weak and killed her anyway! So no one should cry for your loss. My tears were wasted on you. Nothing but lost sodium and water... shit. You intend to kill me? Well then, you need not be pretty when you do it!"

Almost all of Sacer's hair went up in flames immediately... just poof. Her pyro powers were much more proficient, and she was pleasantly surprised. Off in the distance, an F-5 tornado was approaching slowly. So if he kills me, at least he will be ugly, Diaphanous thought, rather childishly. She did not care. Out of control anger and rage... Because she did not grow up on her planet, she had not yet learned how to control it. Most everyone on her planet could easily control their rage by age 27, but Diaphanous grew up on Earth.

In her invisible state, nothing could touch her... not even her atomic structure. Every power just went through her as if she was not there.

Time for a little mind-fuck. before Sacer could lash out after the hair burning, she did a little mind-mess on him. She saw his brain was a bit different, but still had the ability to "re-wire" it to some extent. "Now!" she yelled.

Diaphanous had changed Sacer's brain structure so that he saw everything in triplicate; three Enertros, three Ominos, three Arthurs.

"Call me weak?! What do you think now, my former servant! Does my rage at my servant impress you? Am I now the master you wanted? Filled with hate?" Diaphanous' voice came from all around him like surround sound, and echoed.

Then it occurred to her that Haze was likely picking this up in its entirety. When someone else had strong anger or intense feelings, it would intrude on her thoughts without her trying to read the mind. Hmmmmmm...

"Guardian, my good friend," Fortuna responded, "I feel the same about you. Wait a minute. I am picking up something from Haze. We need to head to Mexico City. I can feel Sacer is there.

Instantaneously, Fortuna's mind was inundated with the thoughts of Diaphanous and Sacer, as their emotions were so strong. Fortuna informed Guardian regarding everything that was going on with the two of them, and exactly where they were. In the distance she saw blackness and a huge, slow moving tornado as well.

"Guardian, this is going to be tough. Sacer seems to have gone mad."

Fortuna felt a mix of rage and sadness coming from Diaphanous. Ah... she thought, So much like myself. She cares about him and he turned on her. Fortuna said a prayer for Diaphanous, as she knew how she felt. Fortuna always cared about Sacer. She loved him as angels love each other, however, Guardian, Sacer, and Fortuna were an extra close group of three.

Fortuna also realized that Diaphanous' hatred could become even more explosive than Diaphanous could imagine. The woman was not aware of all her powers, some which could cause devastation of an unimaginable proportion. She hoped Diaphanous did not realize these powers. Already, the tornado was moving toward the city, likely to kill innocent people.

God, please do not let her turn out like Sacer, give in to her anger, and turn it to pure hate. she prayed. Diaphanous would be a force beyond Sacer if that ever came to pass. She continued to pray for Diaphanous, Sacer, and everyone who would become involved in this disaster.

"My love...Legion and Surge are probably preparing for battle. But nukes, my love? We may kill each other if we use them. You said something about an angel earlier? Maybe it will come to do battle with Sacer..."

Enertro was slightly frightened at his soul mate's anger. But he loved her with all his heart, and would stand by her side, no matter the consequences. "Dia...umm...that tornado...won't hit us by any chance, will it?" he asked, as he walked closer to her, keeping a careful eye on the tornado. "Whatever the case, I will remain by your side, my darling. I cannot accept loosing you. Promise me you won't die!"

"Sacer has been mad since I first met him," replied Guardian, his wings reforming into the tentacle-like tendrils of light. "Are you ready for battle, Fortuna?"

"Ohh shit! Enertro, try to calmer her! We'll all die if you don't!" He tried talking to her. "Dia, it's Prism. I know you are angry. I am as well. But you can't kill us all! There are people who care for you and love you! People like me and Enertro. If you keep going on like this, you'll be as bad as he is!"

After listening to Enertro, she spoke to him telepathically:

Enertro, I love you more than anything, and I will never leave your side. I refuse to die. It is not an option. I have made that decision. Unfortunately, I cannot control the tornado... it is born of rage, however, tornados usually travel toward the northeast. This tornado is slightly northwest of us, so we should be safe. I will not let anything happen to you, even if I have to die to keep you alive!

"Yes, Guardian, I am ready for battle." To start with, since one of her abilities was controling weather, she dissipated the storm and tornado, which oddly was a rarity, heading southeast; right where the battle was taking place. If the innocents were not there, I could let the tornado take care of the job, she mused.

As she was preparing herself mentally for the battle, Fortuna saw a ball of flames coming from the ground toward her. "Xenix!" she cried out gratefully. "You healed so fast, my dear!"

As usual, he rose from the ashes.

Guardian nodded towards the phoenix. "Good to see you back, Xenix," he said as the brilliant creature rose towards its' master.

Guardian opened his hand, and his magnificent sword faded into view slowly, from the hilt upwards. The magnificent runes etched on the side glowed white.

"Sacer! Today is the day! Today is when we determine your fate!" called Guardian.

"Prism, go look for Mr. Bellis or Omino. The frontlines will need all the aid they can get!" he said to Prism. "General Prism, you have been a very good general. If we do not see each other again, let it be known that I have enjoyed your company." Enertro gave the general a gentle hug, before returning to Diaphanous.

"Come my love, before the Angels kill us as well," Enertro said, putting his arms around Diaphanous and trying to guide her away. "Sacer will recieve his justice..."

"Let us vent out our anger on the NJLU. They will learn that we are the ultimate force!" he said, kissing Diaphanous passionately. "Promise me we'll remain within arms reach of each other. I cannot afford to even lose sight of you in this battle. You are my everything, Diaphanous. I say this with more passion than anything, because even though I hate to admit it, I fear this battle. I cannot even comprehend how much I would be devastated without you. Diaphanous...I...I cannot live without you," Enertro said, his eyes watering.

How strange it was, for the once staunch, feared, hating leader that Enertro once was, became so passionate, and caring for one he loved amongst all others. How strange...that he now cries for her, begging her to remain at his side.

"Enertro, working for you might be the best decision I ever made. And I'm sure we'll meet again. If, however, I don't tell Dia I was wrong about her when I first met her. She'snot a wore, she's a good friend." Prism ran off to find Omnio.

Sacer began laughing hysterically. "That is it Master, unleash your hatred and show me your truest form! Prove to me that your kind is worthy, stand before me and earn your place in my heaven!" His voice shattered the earth with fissures forty feet high.

The fallen angel's massive black wing flexed from under his disgusting cape causing a sick rattle of metal. He kneeled and blasted high into the atmosphere tearing through every cloud in his path.

"With your hatred I can win. A little betrayle goes a long ways." Suddenly his cloak stretched out for miles blanketing the sky. A shadow morphed on his torched head and fitted a jet black metallic wolf's helmet. From his hand a long blade tore through and slid right into his grasp.

He surrounded Dia in a cloud of shadows showing her his dark intentions for the world.

This was never about my war on heaven or hell. This was about power and justice; you are indeed worthy to recreate the choosen species. I will become god, your company will rule the Earth, and the angels who stand against us will settle in hell. Excuse my harshness but I need to drink your anger for the approaching battle.

Even if I lose the angels will see you have challenged me and reward you with their heaven as well. Either way I will do whatever it takes to see you live on

Sacer screamed as an inferno burst from the fissures and cracks in the earth he had created. Now the desert looked closer to that of hell. Miles away he sensed his foes and opened a dark void that launched thousands of spears in a hellish barrage.

"Come to me and give me heaven! I will reward you with your own infernal paradise!" He yelled as the sky shifted between crimson and black.

Guardian flew in front of Fortuna and Xenix, summoned his sheild, and wrapped all three in his massive wings, encasing them in a ball of light. The spears dissolved as they hit the wings, falling to the floor as ash.

"Surely you have learned from before, Demon?" growled Guardian, his wings flowing behind him as he glided closer to the fallen angel.

"That I have fool." He barked as his head broke in half from the mouth summoning an immense dark power. Suddenly a giant beam of black power shot across the desert towards The Guardian and Fortuna.

As his head reconnected he mused "I believe that's what Fenrir used to do."

"Fenrir changed his ways. Perhaps you should join him," Guardian replied, flying out of the way. "I too have changed, Sacer. For the better."

Guardian extended his sword at Sacer and a beam of bright energy sped towards the demon.

A dark vortex devoured the beam of light as Sacer charged in with his blade at the holy angel.

"Fenrir has returned home as I you will." He challenged while his massive cape continued its metallic clatter in the wind.

After listening to Sacer and realizing his plan, she understood she was being used. Unfortunately, that made her angrier... and Sacer stronger. "Prove myself worthy? To you? I will not bow to you or be allowed anything! I choose my own destiny, you bastard!" Diaphanous could see that Sacer was getting stronger and stronger with her own rising rage. What a horrible paradox.

Through the tumult she heard Enertro. Diaphanous looked down at him and suddenly the hatred she felt toward Sacer seemed petty and insignificant. Enertro's words filled her completely with passion and love. Her rage, strangely, stopped abruptly.

Diaphanous flew back to the ground, landing right next to Enertro, putting her arms around him, and becoming visible again. "Enertro...", her eyes, after turning back to their normal color, were watering as well. His kiss only made her love stronger, as well as her resolve. She would not help power Sacer. It was most important that she stay with her soul mate. "You are my everything as well, Enertro. I promise to stay by your side. No matter what." she said looking deeply into his loving eyes. She held him tightly. "We are two halves of a whole." she whispered.

Diaphanous was suddenly in love with the universe. Enertro created a feeling of Nirvana in her. Completely content. Beyond that. Joy. She felt joy.

Fortuna felt and heard the change in Diaphanous. She sighed with relief. Love triumphs again, and this love is much stronger than most feelings of love. It is similar to an angel's unrelenting love of everything. I feel it from Enertro as well. Even though their intentions are iffy, they are bound. I believe God will ask me to bestow good fortune on the two of them. It is not often that we see such purity in love. If only Sacer could get it back.

Down to business. Fortuna burst a bright light through Sacer's darkness as she pulled out her diamond studded Nihonto, splitting it, causing bright light to emanate from the sword like many prisms.

"Do not do this Sacer!" She tried one more time to reason with the mad one.

Sacer rolled out f his attack on the Guardian and muttered angirly.

Sextus, sextus, sextus

Immediately and painfully the fallen angel split into 6 once, again, and for a third time creating 18 total.

"Love conquers nothing but those who hold it." All 18 Sacer's barked simultaneously.

Would you protect me from what I want?

Of course, I would protect you anything.

Even if it's you?

He tried to block his memories from interfereing with the battle but couldn't.

"Dammit master!" He screamed before the 18 clones charged the two angels.

Xenix immediately emitted a Sonic Scream blast at the clones and Sacer, shaking them all up and scattering them.

Fortuna was moving so fast that all that could be seen was a white streak of light.

"Sacer, you know you can still be redeemed. Stop this madness. You do not have to do this. Repent and live in joy. Love does conquer all, because a true love will give one the strength to endure anything! Look at yourself! Do you think you could have endured the centuries of self inflicted torture if it were not for Athena? If Athena never existed, you would not exist now! Remember your love! Try to remember the feeling! It is possible to get that back! You endured because you knew what true love felt like, and even the most remote possibility of getting that back made all the torture bearable!"

Sacer must know this was the reality of the situation.

Fortuna continued to fly at such speed not to be seen. She had yet to attack Sacer, other than sending the blinding light at him. She was trying to jolt his memory, to turn him, so to speak.

"You are no match for me in combat Whoretuna." he mocked laughing hysterically again as his body shifted into a black beam that moved nearly at the same speed as his counterpart.

Seeing that he was falling behind Fortuna he cursed at Dia.

"A wolf is said to bite even after its head is removed..." He growled chasing the graceful angel.

"My love...if only we could have our dreams right now...if only we didn't have to deal with the NJLU or..." He thought about what he was going to say. Best not bring Sacer back into this conversation he thought as he looked up noticing 3 beautiful beings, 2 angels and one phoenix, against 18 Sacers. "Or anything else. But that is alright. My dream of a loving wife, a beautiful woman, a loyal friend and companion, is all right in front of me," He looked into her eyes... The beautiful light above contrasting the darkness created by the demon was strangely and abstractly beautiful. If it weren't for the terrible battles around them, it would be a happy sight.

Enertro kissed her lightly before kneeling. "I'm sorry, Diaphanous, although it may not seem the proper time, nor place to ask it, but I feel as though I cannot hold it any longer," He looked up at his one true love, adoring every aspect of her.

"Diaphanous, would you honor me...by...by taking my hand in marriage?" He asked, holding her hand in his. "I-I don't have a ring, but once this is all over...I will buy you the most glorious ring money can buy!"

Guardian dove out of the way of one Sacer, while perrying another blow from another. His wing-tendrils took hold of several Sacers and tossed them out of the way. It was a strange, yet awesome sight. "Sacer, Fenrir believed in you. We all do. You can still redeem yourself! Come back to us!"

Arthur saw the battle. Then he saw Fortuna. She was beautiful. Arthur had never seen anything more beautiful. Well maybe Athena. Arthur walked over toward Diaphanous. "Diaphanous who is that beautiful angel?" Arthur pointed for a second, but still looked at her.

Sacer broke from his shadow form and swung his long blade at the guardian's head very sloppily but incredibly fast.

"Fenrir is dead!" He yelled while attacking.

The fallen angel felt increasingly weak as he felt a stabbing pain in his heart and cried out in agony. This was a two edged effect, however, because the the pain in his heart may make him weak but when weakened his anger reaches unbelievable levels.

In reply to Sacer's comment, Fortuna spun at a speed so fast that she was invisible. Her ultimately sharp blades crossed in front of her, blinding Sacer, and slashing him unrelentingly... hundreds of times.

She backed off, only the string of light following her showing. As soon as she was a safe distance away, Xenix shot a blast of fire at Sacer... a blast as hot as the sun.

"You always had a pathetic sense of humor since you fell. I would think you would repent in order to sound less childish, if for no other reason." she mocked him.

Diaphanous pointed up in the air. "Enertro, look at that!" They could see flashes of light that they could not quite look at without squinting. They also could see the fight. "I told you the NJLU had to come later! I knew it. This battle determines whether we live or die." Diaphanous kissed Enertro passionately. "My love for you, ever increasing, to the point I feel I will explode with unrelenting joy, is making Sacer weaker. My anger and hate strengthened him. You... your love, and my love for you, has weakened him. He will feel it sooner or later." She looked at Enertro so lovingly she thought she would melt and fall into his eyes. "My darling, the world may end tonight, and I've never felt so perfect. As if the pieces are in place finally, my dearest soul mate."

Diaphanous sighed and kissed Enertro passionately. "Do you think we ought to move a little further away from all this? I can lift you and we can fly a bit further out if you like. I will let you make that decision, my love." She kissed him passionately again, the feeling indescribable. She barely cared about what was going on above them any more. It was as if she was watching a play. It almost did not matter.

"Enertro! I can't find Omnio or Bellis anywhere! Dia! Are you alright." Prism ran up to her. "I hate to interupt, but you had me freaking out back there. Please, don't ever do that again. For our sakes and yours. Oh god this is crazy." Prism was so glad she was okay. Throughout this whole ordeal, Dia was the only one who really understood him. "Thanks Dia. Thanks for understanding."

"Good...idea," he gasped, kissing Diaphanous in return. He barely cared about the battle anymore. He just wanted Diaphanous. Snap out of it Enertro! For all we know, a meteor could explode on your location right now! Then you wouldn't be allowed to continue the family and dreams! he thought to himself.

"Ok, my love. Could you fly us out of here?" He asked, mildly dazed from the barrage of kisses. He had that goofy grin on his face again. Like he did when he first brought Diaphanous in his copter.

"Arthur, go aid Omino and the others in the front lines. We'll meet up with you guys later..." he said, not taking his eyes off Diaphanous.

Sacer's wild attack clanked off Guardian's helmet. Nothing fatal...

Guardian enclosed this Sacer in between his tendrils. "Sacer, you must repent! You will be redeemed!"

He began to squeeze Sacer tightly within his wings, while Guardian moved closer with his sword ready to kill.

Arthur gave a thumbs up to Enertro, but still stared at the battle. This female angel was beautiful and he couldn't look away.

Sacer's cloak of chains and barbed wire shot out and wrapped around the Guardian's neck. The fallen angel couldn't take much more abuse as he had just recovered from Fortuna's attack.

Decimus! Where were you honey? We've missed you so much.

He almost felt on the brink of death, but pulled himself together as a dark blast of demonic energy filled the sky destroying everything it came across.

Guardian growled as he hacked at the chains surrounding his neck. His wing-tendrils let go of Sacer as they began to pull apart the chains and barbed wire.

Guardian tried to speak, but could not due to the chains around his neck. He merely growled as he continued to hack and slash at the bindings.

Seeing Sacer darken the sky brought a song to Prisms mind.

"All that you touch

All that you taste

There is no dark side of the moon really. Matter of fact it's all dark."

This is bad, he thought. He walked over to Arthur. "Whatsup man. We'll be fighting alongside each other. So, your that guy I threw a flaming disk and scythe at right? How did you end up here? By the way, I'm Prism."

The chains broke as Sacer held his agonizing scream surrounded by a transparent shadow-like sphere.

With renewed anger he launched a burtal series of attacks that quaked the earth and the skies against the Guardian. His blade moved so fast even the fallen angel couldn't keep up with his own movements.

Guardian perried and repelled as best he could, but it was not quite enough.

"My wings are not my only addition," growled Guardian, as Sacer's blade banged on his armor again. Before a fatal blow could be struck, Guardian shrunk to a tiny form, and fluttered out of the way.

Sacer reared back as a giant shadow hand exploded from his chest and chased the tiny angel.

"The power of darkness cannot be denied." He proclaimed proudly.

"Neither can the power of light!" squieked the angel, as he suddenly grew larger, much larger...

He sliced at the dark hand that was approaching him, with his now larger sword. "And yet, in this giant form, I pale in comparison to the full power of the light!"

Sacer climbed high into the to sky with his cape of tattered metal trailing behind. His body grew as a shadow to form the head of a wolf soaring into the atmosphere where it stopped and shot back down at the Guardian.

Guardian reformed back to his original shape, and held his sword straight up, waiting for the enraged demon to hit...

Sacer dove straight through guardian's blade, piercing him in the stomach. Through his rage he grabbed the blade with one hand and the angel's neck with the other.

"This-this is what it means to be powerful!" He yelled.

Guardian began to choke, as the area began to blacken. His wing-tendrils grabbed hold of Sacer, trying to pull him off.

The light tendrils burned his skin through his black armor and the blade in his torso hurt beyond measure.

I'm too weak to regenerate this now. I can't fight at this pace much longer.

The tendrils eventually threw him off the sword and the fallen angel fell toward teh ground helplessly. He slipped into a state of unconciousness...

The Guardian wheezed as Sacer's grip on his neck was released. His wings could barely keep him afloat.

"Is he...dead?" he asked aloud. "Have we actually won?"

"Honey come on in, dinner's ready!" Athena yelled from the porch as Marcus and Titus ran to greet their father.

Decimus hugged his six year old twins and carried them on each shoulder. The beautiful scent of cooked beef stew could be smelled for a hundred yards. The wooden door creaked open in the lighting of a dimming sun over the empty horizon of amber wheat grass. A single leafless arbor tree sat fifty feet from the house as a few automn leaves danced gracefully to the ground. The blissful family sat around the table eating joyfully and Decimus chucked a large hunk of beef out the window. With lightening speed a large german sheppard caught it out of air at the cheer of the children.

"Yeah Fenrir!" Marcus cheered before being tapped on the head with a wooden spoon by his mother.

"Don't encourage your father Marcus." She scolded playfully.

Decimus felt warm inside, but something tried pulling him away.

Soon the walls began to crumble like melted wax revealing Alucard who was holding his dog, Fenrir's head, and threw into Marcus' soup. Decimus grabbed a blade, but was thrown into the arbor tree and impaled on one of the branches. He broke his children's neck with a loud crack and then tore his wife limb from limb. In the sky he saw two angels only hovering, watching all the horror happening. Then Sacer awoke...

The fallen angel landed on his feet determined as ever. His wounds healed immediately and extended his hand, beckoning the guardian.

"You won't take my heaven from me devils; you let everything in this world fall into annihilation, but you won't take from me what I deserve." He said coldly with a reinvigorated power.

ooc: Luporum... Fortuna was attacking Sacer as well, yet you mentioned nothing of it. Does that mean she has already sliced him into atomic sized pieces? You didn't respond to my post at all. I will not post as Fortuna until this is acknowledged. Sacer has been going at Guardian, however, Fortuna attacked first and it was never acknowledged. That entire post of mine was never acknowledged. (after he called her "Whortuna")

ooc: Not much but I did respond and the reason why there so little response as it's pretty hard to fight something that can become 'ghostlike' and move as fast as light. I fail to see why he would bother trying to fight something he can't hit when he can slam into guardian whom if he defeats can then use as leverage against Fortuna.

ooc: Don't worry about it, I wasn't even sure if I replied so I actually had to go back and reread my own posts.

Haze and his party had just come over the hill when he saw the angels fighting. Then he saw Arthur standing alone looking at the angels. What the hell is going on? Then he detected Diaphanous. He wondered what would happen next. He looked around at his companions and said, "Be ready to fight."

Mr. Bellis was astounded at what he had just seen. He had seen a man split into eighteen different forms. He looked over his shoulder and saw a group gathering on the hillside. He pulled out a pair of binoculars he always carried and looked. Then he spotted Haze along with the rest of the League. He thought to himself, This is it. He shouted to Enertro and Diaphanous they are here.

Surge smiled sinisterly, despite having been scared to death a while ago. Killing always brightened his day. He stood in the shadows of a hotel room, a long sniper rifle in his hands. His window was open and the curtains fluttered about.

The sniper itself was camouflaged, curtains from another room, with a similar pattern, wrapped around it. Surge slowly put his gun in position and aimed it at one of the NJLU superheros.

Legion remained near the door, ready to pulverize any trespassers.

Arthur snapped out of it. He heard teh NLJU was coming. Good this was going to be good. They wouldn't know he was there enemy. The only thing he thought about was that these people had captured him and were holding him hostage. Haze could see this.

The fallen angel held out his hand to the opposing saints. "What is it you treasure most?" He said with a harsh tone as the dark sphere surrounding him intensified with varying darkness.
