"Perhaps." Andrew stroked his chin. He needs a shave. "The guards are good, but they're no match for the Dark Side."

Kartion nodded, "I'll talk to Elendil and Daniel. I suppose I should go mate, there's alot to do. May the force be with you, and give my best to Jennifer." he said.

A red blade snapped to life in the shadows and a sinister voice said, "Who are you, girl? Know that a wrong move, and you'll be dead."

"M-me? I....I am Kasandral....Kasandral Xerephen.......I heard....a voice. It told me to....come here."

"And with you, Kartion." Andrew ended the conversation, and got back to the condolences from other nations.

Tak'a-Tamen joined Kasandral and Alex from the shadows. His composure, calm and cold.

Tak'a-Tamen: "Sheath your weapon Alex, I summoned her here."

Tak'a-Tamen walked towards Kasanral, his eyes locking onto hers as if looking deep into her soul. He circled her as she stood there, scrutinising her very carefully.

Tak'a-Tamen: "You heard my call. But did you come here because I summoned you, or is there more?"

OOC: Eh. Banak isn't real big on the sensing part of the force. He'll shove you across a room and zap you, but he probably didn't notice the death through the aura of the academy.

IC: Banak bowed his head and smiles. "Greetings to you as well, HK. I trust you had an uneventful trip?" he asks, turning his back to the droid and walking away, assuming that he would follow.

The Metal steps of his feet joined those of Banaks as they walked.

"Statement: Everything is uneventful these days, Master Banak" He said, his head cocked slightly as the message for the 1 million credit bounty was displayed, his normality remained as he read the message.

"Supplemental: 1 Million for some meatbags, That Slug must really want them" He said, turning his head to Banak, even though Banak probably didnt know about the bounty.

"I....I do not know. I just....decided to." She rests her hand on her rapier nervously.

Tak'a-Tamen: "I can sense your feelings. Your thoughts betray you."

Suddenly, Tak'a-Tamen waves his hand and Kasandral's rapier drops to the ground. He looks into her eyes again.

Tak'a-Tamen: "You know fear. But you control it well."

She remains silent, trying to stop her eyes from shifting around a lot.

Tak'a-Tamen: "Since you are here, you must want to know the secrets of the dark side. But you must prove yourself to me."

He points out to a dark direction.

Tak'a-Tamen: "Through there is an Imperial Remanant shuttle. There is one pilot aboard called Kammel. Kill him!"

"W-why? W-what has he done?" Kasandral asks, purely for show however. She thinks the jedi order useless, incompetent, nosey. She remembers the academy, how it was full of those holier-than-thou types. She remembers how her fencing tutor was murdered, and the jedi made no attempt to find the killer. Finally, she remembers how she was passed over by several masters, and is still a lowly apprentice. Somewhere in the back of her head, she is being screamed at that the dark will be better. She was always good in the dark, hiding from the law, stealing precious cargo. Yes. She would join Tak'a-Tamen. But she would not give him the satisfaction of knowing that just yet.....

Tak'a-Tamen: "Why? Because you know that the dark side is powerful. You desire to be more than what you are, more than an apprentice."

Tak'a-Tamen revealed a tiny sadistic smile,

Tak'a-Tamen: "And because I told you to. Make no mistake child, the dark side is powerful and you will become powerful when you turn. But you must also learn obedience and respect."

With that, lightening darted from Tak'a-Tamen's hand to the ground just in front of her. A frightening force power which by no means is acheived easily, but to Tak'a-Tamen, it is as simple as putting on a hat.

"M-my apologies, sir. I will do as you asked." She gives a short, clumsy bow, and jogs off in the direction of the ship he had mentioned.

Kammel was sitting in the shuttle doing some preliminary checkups. It had been a while since he and Tak'a-Tamen had landed on Tentenerikis V and he was getting restless. There had been nothing but silence since the commotion he had heard a few hours ago. He checked his blaster to make sure it was fully charged. He was completely unaware of the approaching individual.

Kasandral walked up the ramp into the shuttle. She checked her boot, making sure her dagger was there. Then she began looking throughout the ship. A guard stopped her.
"Who are you?! What are you doing on this ship?!"
"Sorry...I'm looking for a man named Kammel...he's a good friend of mine. I heard he was here."
"What's your name?"
"Maria."
"Maria? I'll go ask him..."
When the guard turned around, Kasandral reached down into her boot. She drew the dagger out and jumped on the guard. She promptly slit his throat. She hid the body in a small storage compartment. Then she continued through the ship.
Soon she found him. He was typing away at a data-pad. She crept up behind him. He didn't notice her until it was too late. She slit his throat as eficiently as the guard's. She quickly turned out his pockets, finding only a few creds and a small holdout blaster. She took it all and left the ship, walking through the underbrush back to Tak'a-Tamen...

Tak'a-Tamen sensed Kammel's death. Satisfaction read out aloud accross his face.

Tak'a-Tamen: "Ah, she exceeds even my expectations."

He stood there as still as a rock, waiting for Kasandral to return. Now he could plan ahead with Alex.

Kasandral stopped when she was 5 feet from Tak'a-Tamen.
"It...is done." SHe sheathes her dagger in her boot and bends down to pick her rapier up off the ground where Tak'a-Tamen had made it fall.

Tak'a-Tamen: "You have done well Kasandral. You have started down the path of the darkside."

He reached out and took Kammel's blaster from her.

Tak'a-Tamen: "You know of the the two rival heirs to the Core Throne. Daniel Masaki and Eamonn Jarlath. I want you to get close to Eamonn and get him to follow you to Nar-Shaddar. There, I will take his soul and present you with his lightsabre."

With one hand, Tak'a-Tamen crushed the blaster and allowed the fragments to drop to the ground.

Tak'a-Tamen: "Do you understand?"

"Yes." Kasandral said, gaining confidence. "However, I am but an initiate at the academy. I have no knowledge of the use of the force or the lightsaber. May I still attend my classes at the academy?"

OOC... this moves way too fast

Natalia found her classes interesting... but not very practical, and quite frustrating. Her inability to even make a small rock quiver was extremely vexing, as was her incompitence with 'sensing' anything, directly manipulating the force, and generally doing anything a jedi was supposed to. She wasn't surprised though... she had never been convinced that she had any force powers. She also found the morality of the jedi grating.... sure it would be nice to be a paladin in shining armor, knowing that whatever you do is right, charging in and slaughtering all the bad guys while letting the humble, hardworking people go about their lives. But the world doesn't work like that... the Jedi's determination for open conflict against evil was bound to cause collateral damage, and there was no way she was goingt to be a part of it. The shining armor didn't fit. She felt more comfortable in the shadows.

Tak'a-Tamen: "Of course. It will get you closer to Eamonn. I shall train you as well during the times when you are asleep. You will know what I mean when it happens. Now go!"

Tak'a-Tamen turns and walk back into the shadows, but then turns to face her again.

Tak'a-Tamen: "By the way. Though you have proven yourself now, remember this. I reward loyalty greatly, but if you betray me, though your body would someday be found, there will not be enough left to identify you. Am I clear?"

"Y-Yes...Of course." She bows again and gets in her ship. She punches in the auto-pilot coordinates for the academy and falls asleep.

Soon, Kasandral landed in the academy hangar bay. She got out, looking around. She decided that she would go to her classes. She was late, so she had already missed Meditation Techniques. She was just in time for force training however. For the rest of the day, she learned how to manipulate small objects. Then she went to the dueling chambers, remembering that she had told Natalia that she wanted to learn street fighting...

OOC: Ybronneb, let me know when Kasandral falls asleep again.

Jedi Miles was floating down the hallway going towards the Council Chambers. He enters, waiting for the Council to enter. While waiting, he begins to meditate and fold the Force around him. That by itself is a dangerous act, but he decided to take it a step further and compress it all into the space of a golf-ball sized sphere. Who would have thought that the Force could actually be seen. It looked like a golf ball that has streaks of gold, red, blue, black, and grey. This was the best visual way of telling how the Universe was going. In that sphere, he saw red and black rising. He felt this disturbance about an hour earlier as the Jedi Master was killed by the Sith. He hoped to clear up with the Council what they felt about this method of checking the Force as well as seeing about finally becoming a Master. He reminded himself about respecting everyone, as his ego was starting to get ahold of him again.

Assuming Natalia was in class, Kasandral left to get some sleep. Practically as soon as she hit the bed, she was asleep. The ordeal with Tak'a-Tamen had exausted her.

OOC: Glad I could help. Tak'a-Tamen's lesson will come up VERY shortly. Bare with me as I finish the opening.

Kasandral's dreams were darker than ever before. Tak'a-Tamen knew that she had potential and had the best chance to get to Eamonn. He reached out and sensed that she was deep in subconsiousness.

Tak'a-Tamen: "You are eager to learn young one. Reach out with your thoughts. Sense your surroundings and remember this."

The image of Tak'a-Tamen was replaced by horrors and destruction of places and people from a thousand years ago. Then there was black,

Tak'a-Tamen: "You are standing in the darkest corner of your mind. You will notice that you are holding a lightsabre. Activate it! Before you stands the image of the one who murdered your fencing tutor. I believe you wish to avenge his death?"

With a snarl of rage, "dream-Kasandral" activated the saber and launched herself at the killer of her tutor. She slashed wildly, thrusted madly, all discipline gone from her body.

Tak'a-Tamen: "Good. GOOD! Let your rage control your actions, release your anger!"

As dream-Kasandral drew ever closer, the image of the assassin came to life, twisted and blocked her attack with such force that it knocked her momentum.

Yelling, Kasandral jumped at the assassin again, and again. She waved the lightsaber around like a club, always trying to kill the man who stood before her. She growled with every miss. After several minutes, Kasandral calmed. She fell into the state of mind she uses when fencing. Suddenly she was lunging, thrusting, parrying, and slashing with much more discipline, and yet she still maintained the anger.

David senses something that is not right in the Academy. He leaves a note in the Chambers and leaves to investigate.

The assassin was begginning to show fear. He was reacting desperately to Dream-Kasandral's attacks. Deflecting, parrying, thrusting, but he became more and more defensive until he stumbed and fell.

Tak'a-Tamen: "You have channeled your aggression. Good! Now, end his life. End it the same as he ended your tutor's."

The assassin looked pathetic as he glanced up at Dream-Kasandral and begged for mercy.

Tak'a-Tamen: "KILL HIM NOW!"

Dream-Kasandral lifts her saber up over her head. Then she brings it down in a fell sweep that beheads the pitiful assassin. Dream-Kasandral laughs madly.

Tak'a-Tamen: "Excellent."

Single clapping could be heard echoing in the darkness, then the image of Tak'a-Tamen appeared. He approached Dream-Kasandral as she stood over the image of the dead assassin.

Tak'a-Tamen: "It felt good didn't it? The power you felt when he begged for his life. The fact that you had control over whether he lived or died."

The image of the assassin disappeared. The image of Tak'a-Tamen circled Dream-Kasandral.

Tak'a-Tamen: "He was but an image in your mind. The real assassin is still out there, and I am going to give you the chance to really avenge the death of yout tutor. All you have to do, is win Eamonn's confidence and bring him to Nar-Shaddar."

"Of course." Dream Kasandral said. "I will do anything to slaughter the pig who killed my tutor..."

OOC: I have to get off in like ten minutes. I'll try to get back on later tonight.

David goes to the Dorms, and hears some screaming like a battle was on. He enters the room. He is suprised to see Kassandral sleeping. He senses great emotions within her dream. He decides to astro-project into it and sees her fighting an assassin. As she executes him, David says, "Do you really expect for your emotions of revenge, anger, and hate to help you? they are only a route to the Dark Side. There is no anger, only peace. I want you to forgive this guy. It is never too late. I was like you in my young age, and it only brought me pain. Now wake up. I shall help you when you do."

Kasandral hears David's voice, dimly. She gives Tak'a Tamen a look that says "Sorry...he'll find out if I don't". Then she wakes up.
"W-what just happened? I had the strangest dream..."She pretended not to know. She looks up at David.
"Why are you in here?!"

"That guise does not fool me. Your emotions betray you. You know why I am here, and I know that you were tempted into the Dark Side. I was like you once, and nearly fell. Don't let that happen to you. I know you want to kill him. Don't worry about it. I have a feeling that he won't live long. Let this ride for a week. I promise you that he will be caught and justice will be served."

"Of course." Dream Kasandral said. "I will do anything to slaughter the pig who killed my tutor..."

Tak'a-Tamen: "Good Kasandral, you show potential. This concludes your first lesson. No one but myself and you will know of this lesson. You have the basic skill to focus you anger, to channel your hate and rage into fighting your opponant."

His voice became quiet and calm.

Tak'a-Tamen: "Sleep now, rest. For tomorrow, you may well practice your fencing in the waking world. You will know what to do."

With that, the image of Tak'a-Tamen disappeared back towards the shadows and the dream ended.

On Tentenerikis V, Tak'a-Tamen relaxed his mind.

Tak'a-Tamen: "It is just a matter of time now."

OOC: I notice you live in Las Vegas. I'm about four or five hours ahead of you so I'm gonna go and sleep now. I will catch you up when you're asleep. Goodnight :)

Kasandral breaks. "NO! He will not! He should have been caught when he did it! The jedi did nothing to help! *Sobbing* And you are no different! You pretend to care, while deep down inside you are just like the rest! Now leave me be!" *Sits on bed and cries*

He looked off at a wall for a moment as they walked. The small creature was not as well trained in the 'detached' part of the force as others, but he was definantly feeling a darker vibe through the aura in the academy. Probably two apprentices having an argument... no matter.

Master Elendil reads the note, and nods silently. Yes. The Dark Side is growing.

Meanwhile, Daniel was training hard today with Kartion. A remote darted here and there, shooting a yellow beam that stung each time. The boy was sore, but this time, he was increasingly able to use the Force, and managed to block more than 50% of the bolts.

"Enough, little dude. Getting stronger every day, I see." Kartion smirked.

"Yeah." A white towel floated by and Daniel rubbed his face with it. He wasn't told of the bounty, yet so as to not alarm him. The boy will rest for a little while, then be taught more techniques, like healing and tossing man-sized objects with telekinesis. Another full day for the heir!

Michael Miles wakes up, seeing the beautiful 'sunrise' because his dad had set the alarm clock for 0430. He dresses and goes for a brisk morning jog in the Forest. He isn't stupid, though, and carries a smuggled disruptor pistol at his side in case he encounters something as mean as a Kath Hound. He finishes his three mile jog and enters the Council Chamber and says to Master Elendil. "You wanted to see me about my class schedule? Something to do about assisting my father in his teachings instead of taking the class itself?...Speaking of my dad, have you seen him recently?"

I would like for you to see about doing something about that. I'm also thinking of one particular boy, a young lad named Eamonn whom I met the other day."

David Miles says, "I'll leave you with that. I'll see you later." With that, he leaves the room and makes his way to his classroom. When he enters, everyone is talking and he lets them for a moment before beginning, "Welcome to my classroom. I take it that you read the placard outside. So you know that this is Demolitions I. Now you must be asking, 'Why am I learning Demolitions when I can just use the Force?' Well, you might need it. My job is to arm you with knowlege so you can save your own life. I have used Demolitions many times to save my life even before I learned to use the Force. I'll let you see what I've done with my life." With that, he took a group of folders and sent them to every student using the Force. "The first class today will be used to teach me all about every one of you, and you about me."

"Yes. He was just here a minute ago, and gave me this note." The Jedi Master said. "Oh, and about the class schedule. There are several students that have yet to be picked by a Knight or Master. Eamonn looked at the folder in front of him. This reminded him too much of his old school. He looked through the folder, whating for him to carry on.

David Miles then says, "Don't worry, that's not homework. Lord knows I hate that! That's just my personal file in case you want to know what I like and don't like...heh-heh-heh...just in case you want to do something for me. Yes, I am a pyromaniac, but don't you want someone who has played with this stuff before teaching?" The class erupts into laughter before everyone realises that he's not joking, then its even funnier.

Eamonn's eyes widened, this guy didn't sound to good. 'This guy will make us all fall to the darkside if we're not careful,' he thought to himself.

Daniel burst into the room, concluded with training with Kartion. "Sorry, Master!"

He took a seat, breathing hard, wondering what's so funny.

"I know what you're thinking. And no, this class will not lead you to the Dark Side. the first thing I will do is teach you to be responsible. All I ask is that you don't do anything I do not ask you to do when dealing with explosives and that you do not be late...*cough*...Its ok today, as long as you're here. I know what its like being in a high-school like school, I was there at one point, so I'll be lenient for the first few week so you can get in routine. Now, we shall go outside and I'll demonstrate some uses of explosives." While the group was waking to the outdoor 'stadium', David calls Mike on his Commlink and tells him where to meet and to bring 2 grenades.

Michael then says, "And what do you wish of me?"
"Just to scope out the boy -he's a few years younger than you, by the way- and see if you can help him with his studies. Maybe teach him a few things."

Daniel was as excited as the other boys to see what's going to happen as he walked outside with the class.

'A likely story,' Eamonn thought to himself. Going outside with explosives didn't seem to have any point.

"Answer: The Coreworlds Royal Family." Andruid said, continuing to follow the small master Banak, Andruid's head cocked again slightly as his computer interfaced with that of the academy, with stealth, of course.

"Question: A member of the Royal family is present at the academy Master ?"

Odcal walked along with the rest of the demolitions class. He thought to himself, Great. Why'd he have to give us a folder about himself. Sure, we need to learn about his "life" but learning about someone else's life won't teach us about explosives.

"I heard that. Eamonn, isn't it? Don't worry, I'm going to give you the reason for this class there."
They then reach the structure, where Michael and three large columns of Durasteel are.
"Look at these three columns. You must wonder, 'Why can't you just use your lightsaber to destroy them?' Well, here's why."
The Jedi then drew his lightsaber, light it, and cut thru the beam in one swath and the column fell immeadiately. He then went to his second column, cut thru it partially, placed the two Grenades in it and rigged it up. He then told everyone to get back.
"FIRE IN THE HOLE!"
The grenades exploded and just shattered the base of the column, and it fell just as fast as the first. He then follows up by just crushing the third using the Force.
"Well, you could destroy it with one swipe, but what if you need to set up an ambush or its a structure. You certainly don't want a building on Tarris falling on you. The explosives give you a delay time so you and your allies can escape. Later on, I'll teach you how to use the force and destroy it. UI hope this opens up your eyes."

"Cool, Master!" Daniel clapped. "I can see how it would be useful to use explosives..."

So that's why he wanted the explosives. Very clever but I sure don't want to be around when the janitor has to clean this mess up. Odcal thought as he tried to breath in the smoke.

OOC: Why you keep having Daniel call him master? He's only a knight.

Kasandral checked the academy database for Eamonn's schedule. She discovered that he was in demolitions right now. She went to go wait for him.....

OOC: A sign of respect, rather than a title as with Jedi Master. Think 'sensei' in karate.

Eamonn watched with mild interest. Explosives were useful, he already knew that though and wondered who wouldn't. However this one kid seemed like a total suck up.

"Cool, Master!" Daniel clapped. "I can see how it would be useful to use explosives..."
Odcal laughed at this in his head. Is he really that naive or is he just a suck-up I wonder? Or has he just led a really protected life and his father is worried with fear about all the things he is being exposed to here.

Daniel wonders about Eamonn. Maybe...he walked to the other kid and stuck out his hand. "Hey, what's your name?"

"The names Eamonn," he said, taking Daniels hand. "And you are?"

"Question: A member of the Royal family is present at the academy Master ?"

"The names Eamonn," he said, taking Daniels hand. "And you are?"
"Daniel Masaki. You're pretty strong..." Daniel said, trying out his new skill at testing a person's strength in the Force. "But anyway, wanna spar sometime?"

"First time I've been told that," Eamonn shrugged. "What kind of sparring do you have in mind?"

He couldn't help but be curious even though he had already thought of Daniel as being a suck-up.

"Which leaves one thing," Eamonn began, looking over at the teacher. "How much longer does this bloody class go on for?"

OOC: Thermal Detonators are powerful explosives. Think nuke-in-a-grenade. They're dial-a-yield, going anywhere from a 5 meters to 20 meter radius. Really powerful ones (Class-A) can take down one of Coruscant's skyscrapers.

"I just wish we could get out of this lesson sooner rather then later, go do something else," Eamonn sighed.

How long is this going to go on? Don't they know it gets boring after 15 minutes? Odcal sat down and went into meditation to pass the time.

He threw the thermal detonator at a tree that was over 35 meters in diameter, destroying the base.
"Class dismissed! May the Force be with you." He then procedes to use the Force to repair the tree and the three columns.

At his base on Tatooine….

Odcal got up and stretched. Finally. He headed to his room to lounge awhile for the fifteen extra minutes they had recieved. However, he could not relax in the midst of all that had happened.

"Dad, why did you let out early? You didn't even show them Willy Pete (WP)."
"I must speak with the Council. I'll show them tomorrow."
"Oh, I see." The two then made their way to the Council Chambers. They enter to see Master Elendil there, meditating.
"Did you sense that last night?"
"Yes. Do you know who it was that died?"
"Master Tenchi. I know. I also had one student want to turn to the Dark Side seeking revenge for him. Thank God someone caught it before they turned. I sensed something other than them. I believe that we may have a problem from the inside."

Good As Erik walk out of the room.

Kartion meditated for a few minutes, before opening his eyes.

Kartion got up off the floor, and called his sabre staff to him. Grabbing it, he holstered it, and popped into the kitchen, where E Z was washing up.

"E Z, I'm going to be gone a little while. If Daniel comes back, tell him I've gone to see Master Elendil." Kartion said. Before E Z could reply, Kartion was already out the door...

He turn it off and walk back outside. He started walk the around the grounds again.

Daniel, finally able to get his bokken waiting for him, came in the room and saw E Z. "Say, where is Kartion, E Z?"

Odcal looked away from his chest of treasured things as he heard the bell signaling end of classes ring. He sighed, got up, and headed to the next class on his list. He headed into the room without bothering to look at the sign. He sat down and saw Banak talking with a droid. Demonstration eh. This should be interesting at least.

A demonstration? With crazy Master Banak? Daniel grinned as he read his datapad. I have got to see this! Provided he doesn't turn students to the dark side in the process...

Daniel headed over to Master Banak's room, where he caught HK's last words and chuckled. Poor droid...

Erik walk in to his next class. The teacher was Master Banak. He is so tiny. He saw Master Banak and droid talking. He saw Danny and another kid in there, too.

Kartion knocked on Elendil's door...

Master Elendil, Master Karen Rydo, and Master Xavier Soloran are members of the Jedi Council, branch of the High Council. They sat in the Council Chambers in the Academy, meditating and talking about what must be done.

The elven Jedi sensed Kartion even before he knocked. "Come in." He called.

Kartion opened the door. Taking a deep breath, he walked into the middle of the room, and bowed to all three Masters, before turning to Elendil.

"Master Elendil. I need to discuss something very important with you." Kartion said.

Master Elendil nodded. "Go on."

Banak just chuckled and then watched the students enter. "Greetings. I am Banak, one of your instructors. I am glad that you took the time to come."

Standing, he moves towards them and turns to face teh droid. "This is HK-96 Mk2. He is a Bounty Hunter and one of the most deadly droids that I know of. One day, you may face a droid like him in battle. I'm going to show you how to survive such a thing."

A smile comes across his face and he ignites his saber. "It's been a while since I faced such a challenge." He said, launching himself towards the droid at a speed that defyed Banak's small size. Down swung the saber at HK's faceplate.

Kartion took a deep breath.

"We all know of Tenchi's passing. But I doubt you know why he died. Well, here's why..." Kartion said, taking a deep breath.

"Tenchi was killed by Alex Masaki."

Eamonn was glad to get out of that lesson. He headed back to his room to pick up his shortsword before heading to dueling room B.

The other two Masters inhaled sharply, while Master Elendil leaned forward and narrowed his eyes. "What makes your think so?"

Daniel just watched and took mental notes. He knew assassin droids are very dangerous, as said many times by his father.

As Banak swung his lightsabre towards HK, the powerful robotic legs pushed him off of the ground, strafing him to the right, and away from the lunging master.

"Statement: Oh please, master, as if i didnt see that coming" HK Said, as his hand reached into one of his many slots, producing a golden blade, probably gained from one of his many travels, or one of his many victims.

The Droid pushed himself off of the ground, and swung the blade at Banak.

Seeing as he was there alone, Eamonn decided to practice some moves alone. He didn't take any notice if anyone entered the room.

Kartion bowed his head.

"I don't believe so Master, I know so. Andrew Masaki told me what happend." he said, inhaling deeply.

"Tenchi sensed Alex on some planet a long way away. And so Tenchi set off for the planet. His mission was to turn Alex back, but as you've guessed, he failed. But there's more..." Kartion paused to allow it all to sink in.

"There's another with Alex. This can mean two things: One: The other is Alex's apprentice. Or Two: The other is another Sith in collaboration with Alex. I knew there was another when Tenchi's body was drained by the other. But make no mistake: The Sith are back..."

Banak lands and smirks. "Come on HK. You know I always toy with my prey." He parries the incoming attack and trys a combonation of fast attacks on the much larger droid.

A lightsaber? Daniel thought and shivered with excitement. HK is going to be tough!

The Attacks meet blade, as blade meets energy, the lightsabre and blade meeting each other countless times over, HK is starting to become defensive, Banak is the more agressive here, but for how long?

HK uses this time to analyse his opponent, Banak's style has changed a slight portion since their last fight, this must be taken into account.

HK doesnt wait long, he jumps backward, anticipating Banak should jump towards him, if Banak does, Strategy indicates to roll, and attack from behind, hopefully, knocking the lightsabre from the Banaks small hands.

Kartion bowed his head.

Master Elendil sat back at the news. "Disturbing. There is one other thing: one of the students have left the Academy the other day. I sensed something dark from her, but couldn't quite place it."

Kartion contemplated this.

"Keep an eye on her, and don't let her leave Yavin. We can't risk her going dark as well. But there's something else, but you'll find this quite a coincidence," Kartion said, throwing a datapad over to Elendil.

"A One Million Credit bounty has been placed on the Royal Family." Kartion said bluntly.

"Yes, I read the article on it earlier." Master Elendil said. "That means that Daniel may be a target, even here. I know you have begun training one-on-one with him, even though that isn't officially done for a month. Train him well, Knight Kartion. He will need everything you know."

Kartion nodded, "Yes master, but may I ask who decided to watch our little duel?"

Elendil smiled. "The fact that Daniel has gotten stronger since he came here isn't lost on me. Plus the fact that Master Rydo here saw you two coming in very muddy."

Kartion eyed Rydo and grinned.

"Ah, why didn't I think of that?" Kartion said jokingly, before his eyes sharpened.

"But there's something else. We need at least one Jedi team to guard the Emperor's Palace. Andrew has many guards, but he knows, as well as I, that they're no match for a Sith."

"Hmm." Master Elendil pursed his lips in thought. "I'll have to see about that. Is there anything else?"

"Not really...oh! Have you decided on whether to start paying us Knights yet?" Kartion asked, a very high tone of cheek in his voice.

"Hehehe." Master Elendil laughed. "Don't worry, there'll be something soon. Again, train the boy well, and may the Force be with you, always."

"And with you Master." Kartion said. Bowing, Kartion turned on heel, and left the chamber. Upon leaving, he heard a lightsabre clash with something. Stretching out with his senses, he felt Banak and a droid fighting. Grinning, Kartion ran in the noise's direction...

Kartion stopped in the doorway, and gawped. Banak was actually doing well.

I can't let Banak win! Kartion thought.

Grinning, Kartion cupped his hands.

"Banak! Behind you!" he shouted, trying to sound worried.

This should be fun to watch Kartion thought.

Lord JWolf walks behind Kartion and said "Kartion, that was not nice."

On Tentenerikis V, Tak'a-Tamen stood in the shadows in the hut. His mind was quiet as he meditated. He focused on the goals ahead of him, concentrated his mind on the souls of Jedi everywhere. He knew he would enconter resistence at some point, but no Jedi has ever challenged him and lived. He smiled as he recalled memories from a thousand years ago. He remembered the battle with the ancestor of Mace Windu and how he slain the Jedi after a day and a night of mortal combat. Yes, great days indeed. The Jedi of that time had powerful souls and he had taken all but some of them. Those who had survived had destroyed the Sith, they thought they had won the ultimate victory. But a thousand years later, the Clone Wars, the revenge of the Sith, the rise of the Empire, all of those events had seen the return of the true nature of the force. The power of the dark side had all but destroyed the Jedi, but like the Sith from a thousand years ago, the Jedi would not die. They returned and defeated the Empire and now they are swarming the galaxy.

But this time, its going to be different. Even if it took another thousand years, Tak'a-Tamen would see that the Jedi are destroyed and that the Sith will rule once again, with him as the sole leader. All he had to do, was turn Daniel Masaki, take Eamonn Jarlath's soul and rid the galaxy of the rest of the Jedi. With Alex Masaki and Kasandral Xeraphen working for him, it will be a glorious victory and one that will be acheived in a very short time.

Tak'a-Tamen returned to the present, it was time to leave. He knew Alex was meditating elsewhere and called out with his mind,

Tak'a-Tamen: "I am leaving for Nar-Shaddar. There is a young Jedi apprentice who will lure Eamonn there and when she does, he will be mine."

Master Elendil continued to talk with his collegues, and they decided to send a team to Juria, just to make sure that Andrew would be safe. The team would leave soon.

"Very well. Oh, and if you can find a way to grab a fleet and army for our own use, we can begin planning to defeat the Jedi." Alex called back.

Tak'a-Tamen: "I believe there is enough of the Imperial Remnant left to take control. I want you to go to Nar-Shaddar three days after I leave here. The Imperial Remnant will be there then."

With that, Tak'a-Tamen embarked the Imperial shuttle and took off for Nar-Shaddar.

"The Imperial Remnant, eh?" Alex muttered in the darkness of his hut. "They could be of some use when properly motivated..."

Eamonn lowered his sword and looked around, he found himself still alone. Somehow he wasn't surprised that Daniel didn't show up. "Coward," he muttered to himself, placing the sword back in its sheath. "Probably thinks he's too good for me."

Odcal looked towards the doorway and heard Kartion "warn" Banak. But how can he fall for that? The droid is still in his sight. Unless of course the droid can become invisible or use the Force to hit Banak on the back or something and he knows, there's no way Banak will fall for that.

OOC: Draconis, if Daniel was too good for you why wouldn't he show? He would be coward if he thought he was gonna get defeated, not if he was too good to fight you.

Note: That is a division of clone troopers led by trained Jedi (trained at the same time as my main char).

David stood in the Council Chambers, and when the students left, he said, "I have one question. Why is there a large black spot here?" He then proceded to compress the Force like he had before, "It looks like a large concentration of Sith here. And a large concentration of Jedi here." He points to a black and gold spot respectively, "We also have smaller spots here...wait, I got it. Get out a star map! We can find our Sith infiltrators homebase using this. So, let's see...the Gold folowed by blue, grey, and some red must be Crusant. Our academy is here...", pointing to a smaller gold spot. " So this must be where the new Sith force is. Can someone open the star map and use those two reference points to calibrate the positions. Thanks..."
Before everything could be completed, David fainted, exhausted from having the Living Force flow thru him.

Angered by Daniel's no show, Eamonn left the dueling room and returned to his dorm room. He put his sheathed sword away and sat down on his bed. His eyes crossed over to the picture of him with his mother and father.

Banak indeed dives after teh droid, with a bit of help from the Force, but his momentum can't be stopped midair, so HK easily rolls under and attacks. The saber goes flying, hiting a wall and spearing it before slliding down slowly, gravity making it slice through the stone.

The small Jedi regains his footing and hmmphs, brushing off his robes. "Never underestimate a killing machine. It will be your undoing. Now... what happens if you have no saber in this situation, or it has been 'removed' from you?" He begins to circle HK and produces two things. An Ion gernade and a small, charged, vibroblade. The gernade goes flying towards HK's chest, being propelled faster by the force as Banak leaps forward right behind it.

Michael Miles called on his commlink, "Medical Emergency! Get to the Council Chambers!"
The medics rushed up quickly, injecting David with some energy supplements, which revive him quickly.

"So. The Sith seeks to take our students." Master Elendil said, after hearing the report. "This one must be very strong to do so...we must prepare."

Two Corsair Pinnaces land into the hanger where the Wolf One is.

The crew man said "Lord JWolf, what are your orders?"

Lord JWolf said "Have two Blood Wolf type Robots put in each hanger. Plus put two Brooks type Robots at the entrance of the dorm rooms and have two Brooks type Robots at the entrance of the council chambers. Have them only shot and kill space pirates & any people that is in the Dark side."

The crew man said "Will be done in 30, my lord."

"Now... what happens if you have no saber in this situation, or it has been 'removed' from you?" He begins to circle HK and produces two things. An Ion gernade and a small, charged, vibroblade.

Ah yes, we will really have ion grenades and vibroblades on hand when our lightsaber has been removed. Odcal thought Banak didn't really have teaching in mind during this demonstration. It's more entertainment and a way for him to get stuff out of his system.

That's all and good, but most Jedi don't carry ion grenades! Daniel thought. Better idea would be to use Force Lightning or telekinesis.

Ion grenade? Man, a force push or wave would work. thought Erik.

Chudda the Hutt was quite pleased with herself. "(With my hunters and pirates able to strike at the Royal Family, it won't be long before they capture one of them when they come out of their protected cocoons.)" She spoke in her native language to Alex, via encrypted hologram.

Alex wanted to roll his eyes. "Don't be overconfident, Chudda. The Royal Family (includes several cousins, aunts, uncles, etc. Many are military officers or diplomats) are Jedi or protected by Jedi and elite guards. They will not be easy to capture, and harder to kill."

"(Pfft. What of the boy? Is he not in training?)"

"Yes he is, but he is growing stronger every day."

"(Then we must lure him out. In the meantime, I will order a specific bounty placed on the boy. 5 million credits if captured alive. How does that sound?)"

Sounds like many scum of the galaxy will soon lose their heads. Alex smiled and lied. "Perfect. That will entice many to try for him."

"(Good. I will see you later, then.)" The fat female slug turned off the hologram.

*Underground reports of a five-million-credit bounty placed on Daniel's head has many hunters and pirates making plans to capture him. Sometimes this sets off gunfights that caused several deaths so far.*

Jakaar Felar sat at the bar in a cantina in Mos Eisley, with a glass of Corellian whiskey that he hadn't touched since he ordered it, in front of him. He watched the holonet news vid and whistled when he saw the bounty put on the killer of Tenchi Masaki.

"1.5 mil !!?, Jarvis must really want this guy bad!"

He also took note Chudda the Hutt's bounty on the royals, thinking that the Hutt must be isane, no one messed with the royals.

Jakaar took a gulp of his whiskey and stood up, tossing a cred chip to the bar tender, and walk out into the dark alley way where a gang of street toughs hung out. The toughs shyed away from Jakaar though. If the blaster and elegant vibro-blade hadn't detered them, the strange facial tatoo and the green eyes with their haunted, murderous look did.

Jakaar made his way to hanger 13 and boarded his costomized stx121 skybandit, the wyche, with the intent to get the hell off of Tatoonie.

As Jakaar reached orbit, he opened a comm channel to one of his friends on Courscant.
" hey Vendo, I got a job, I want to meet you in the sump hole in two days, I tell you more then.

As Jakaar went into light speed, he decided that 1.5 million credits would fit into his bank account nicely.

He chuckled, letting his long black hair settle over his eyes, one with a scar from a vibro-blade fight. He sat back in his chair, allowing smoke from his death-stick to rise to the cheap apartment ceiling. He leafed through the various bounties. "Hmm. My, my. There's a million credit bounty made by Chudda for each person in the Coredian Royal Family...ooh! A million and a half for the killer of the old guy in the family. Must be really tough to kill a Jedi like him. What's this? A five-mill bounty on the brat? Ooh! That tickles my fancy, but I think he'll be surrounded by the holier-than-thou Jedi. Too hard.

I think I'll wait for Jakaar to come and see which bounty he's going to collect."

Banak looks at the students for a few short seconds, regardless of whether the gernade is used or not. "Allright..." He raises his hand and a twisting arc of electricity shoots out and encapsulates the droid. After a few seconds, he stops and looks at the droid, then the students. "You aren't dealling with a run of the mill assault droid here. And any further comments can be voiced. I can explain and fight at the same time..." I hope... he adds silently.

HK Merely shook the shock off as if a feather had landed on his nose, he placed the grenade back in its hold.

"Statement: Of course im not Master, you know that, and so should these inept meatbags" HK said.

HK's left arm moved, the shock had sure boosted his circuits back into functionality, he poised, and struck again.

Lord JWolf is on the back wall of dueling room B in the shadow. Watching for someone to enter.

Yawning, Kartion left for his room, before sensing something.

"Hmm...I've heard quite a bit about the Wolf, perhaps I should challenge him..." Kartion said to himself. Shrugging, he jogged off to Duel room B...

Kartion is coming here fast. thought Lord JWolf. He check his boots and found his hunting knife. Good. He doesn't know that is there thought Lord JWolf. He then take his duster off and puts it on a chair. Then puts his two pislots on the top of the duster.

After a few moments, Kartion slid into the duelling room. He instantly saw JWolf on the other side.

"Ah, JWolf I might presume?" Kartion asked.

"Sure but here some rules. Rule 1 No force powers or using the Force. Rule 2 No guns. Rule 3 lightsaber are on stun" said Lord JWolf. He turn and saw Eamonn. "We got someone in here will us."

Lord JWolf pulls his lightsaber out and putting them on stun then active them.

For the next week Kasandral was sure to pay attention in her classes. And yet somewhere in the back of her mind she would scoff, and think of how Master Tak'a Tamen had shown her an easier way to do the same things. She had also studied Eamonn's schedule...he had no class now. It was as good a time as any. She began walking the halls until she found him. He was walking to the dueling chambers, it seemed. Stealthily, she followed him. When they arrived at the chambers, she confronted him.
"Hey! Your Eamonn, right? I've heard so much about you! The masters all say you are promising....more so than Daniel, I believe."

Eamonn looked over at her, he managed a smile. "Oh hey, yeah I'm Eamonn," he said, wondering if what she was saying was true. "Probably too early to say I reckon."

He shrugged his shoulders, he'd rather hear the Master's tell him that then someone he didn't even know the name of. Still he hoped it was true about him being more promising then Daniel, it would make up for the anger of him being a no show.

HK's left arm moved, the shock had sure boosted his circuits back into functionality, he poised, and struck again.
Banak hmmphs as the arm moves. "Not ordinary at all." The small Jedi lept and rolled to the side, away from HK and smirked. "Initiates, there is a reason I am doing this. The galaxy is not as sterile an enviroment as Yavin. If your saber is knocked from you and it happens to fall down a chasm and you don't have any other weapons, what do you do? The Force cannot protect you from a droid like this one for long."

While he spoke, he continued to circle, fending off the attacks HK may launch at him before lowering his arms and walking straight up to the droid and staring at it. "You understand this HK, yes?"

Odcal rolled his eyes. Duh. If I lose my lightsaber then I revert to a weaker weapon, my staff. Though he or any other knight and master would have at least two sabers if going into dangerous areas. I've seen JWolf carry many.

Jakaar walked into the sump hole and thought this dive will never change. He walked to the bar and ordered a whiskey, intending to wait around for vendo to show up. This was not to be.

"I heard that you were back in town, Felar!"

aww shit, what now? Jakaar thought as he turned around. It was Kelin Taal, a gang boss with a grudge, and his two biggest lackeys.

"what do you want Taal?"

"You double crossed me the last time you were around, and I mean to remedy that!!!" With that he and his guys pulled blasters and started to to fire.
Jakaar dove over the bar and pulled his blaster, and began firing back.

" You can't escape Felar!"

Jakaar put a blaster bolt squarely between one of the gangers eyes, and ran the other through with his vibro sword when the ganger tryed to jump over the bar.

"It's just you and me now Taal!, you still as brave without you boys?"

" I'll murder you Felar!" Taal roar as he charge Jakaar. Jakaar faked falling back, kicked Taal over him, and shot him through the back of the head.

Jakaar stood up, dusted himself off, and searched the bodies of Taal and his men. He found a few creds, some cheap death sticks, and their low quality blasters. He toold the credits and death sticks, woke the bouncer outside and gave him the blasters, and returned to his drink to wait fro Vendo.

He raises his hand and a twisting arc of electricity shoots out and encapsulates the droid.

Wow, that was real smart. Any droid with a decent upgrade would be able to either direct the electricity away or use it to increase its power or jumpstart a part of its body. In this case his arm.

"I can explain and fight at the same time..."

I doubt it Banak. You're losing to this droid. You need to get some practice in before having a demonstration again. Odcal snorted at the pitiful display and pondered the garbled messages he had recieved over the last few days. It was obvious to him that something was happening at the Academy or would happen soon. He knew that it went beyond the death of Master Tenchi. He just didn't know how far.

Banak nods. "Indeed you do, HK." The small one says, strilking out with the vibroblade and jamming it into HK's ankle joint, wedging in a gernade between them and leaping back with the Force.

As HK tried to remove the gernade, Banak looked at the class. "But droids are droids and will never be as devious or as adaptable as you." he says as the concussion gernade explodes, doing little damage to the droid. "I could have completely disabled HK there, but I didn't need to to prove my point. Thank you HK. Apologies for any lasting effects." He nods to the droid and then to the students. "You may go, unless you have questions."

"Statement: At least you didnt remove my arm, master." HK Said, slurrishly.

Erik walk out of the room and heading for dueling room B.

Even I shook my head at Banak. Obviously, if all else fails, you gotta use your brain. I then looked at my watch and nearly freaked out. "Gaah! I'm late for the sparring!"

I ran down the halls and down the stairs. I managed to reach Dueling Room B. "Damn. I can't believe I stood Eamonn up like that. Hope he's in a forgiving mood..."

I pushed open the door, and looked around for the other kid. I saw Erik, Kartion and JWolf so far. The two older men look like they're about to duel, I noted and smiled.

Lord JWolf look over at Erik and Daniel then smiles at them, showing his fangs.

"Hey Kartion, look who is in here now." said Lord JWolf as he was playing with his lightsabers.

HK Said something quietly, but just loud enough for Banak to hear.

"Statement: Appears the students missed most of your points, oh thank you master banak, the pickings will be easy this time!"

Kartion pulled out his sabre staff. Sighing, he held it out in a defensive posistion, but didn't activate it.

"Just watch and see." said Erik.

The streets of Nar-Shaddar were dark, yet full of life. The lights of the nearby buildings and passing vehicles illuminated the many individuals running to find shelter from the light rain. The skylanes were busy as endless columns of assorted speeders flew overhead in perfect formations. One of the more subtle allyways housed a bar where creatures of all races would come and drink. It was one of those drinking places where no self-respecting citizen would be seen dead in and that was exactly where Tak'a-Tamen had decided to go. The doors hissed open, and an atmosphere of loud drinking and obnoxious behaviour greeted him. He walked towards the bar as all but a few eyes followed his movements. Some where engrossed in the small pitfight where the punters betted on which small rodent would win a death match.

Tak'a-Tamen stood at the bar and was greeted by a blue-skinned individual with menacingly red eyes who was serving drinks. His disposition sounded almost like a reptillian,

Bartender: "Ahh, you are new here yessss?"

Tak'a-Tamen said nothing. Instead he studied the creature that stood before him.

Bartender: "Do you want a drinkssss, or are you afterssss something elsessss?"

Tak'a-Tamen could tell easily what the bartender was thinking and grabbed the first thought that came to him.

Tak'a-Tamen: "Tell me where Mordan is."

It was no doubt a sharp command, but that wasn't what caused the suspicious reaction from the bartender,

Bartender: "Mordanssss? Who are yousss?"

Tak'a-Tamen: "I wish to cause an incident that will bring the local Remnant garrison here."

To anyone else, their reaction would very likey be confusion at the frank honesty at the rather odd statement, but Tak'a-Tamen had a way of making the weak minded follow his lead whenever he wanted. The bartender pointed to a table on the gallery level,

Bartender: "Mordan'ssssss seat. Only he sitssss there.

The chair and indeed the table were vacant, but Tak'a-Tamen proceeded to them regardless. He didn't really need to go to so much effort to summon the Remnant troops, but he wanted to practice. He hadn't been able to since he was banished to that temple. He sat at the table and waited...

"Still, its what they say. Your a friend of Natalia's, no? Oh! Sorry...I'm Kasandral." She gives a slight bow.

"Well kinda, we only first knew each other on the shuttle that brought us here," Eamon said, watching the duel.

...Several minutes passed until the entrance doors opened and in walked a bearded human with a ferocious scar, followed by four heavily built Malistarens. (OOC: The three eyed guys)

Tak'a-Tamen observed closely. He didn't need the force to tell him that these dubious individuals drove fear into everyone, except him of course. With a deep, horsey voice, Mordan ordered his drinks. 'Ordered' could be considered an understatement as everyone well knew that Mordan would kill if he didn't get what he wanted. As the five of them grabbed their drinks, they made their way up to the gallery level. On any normal evening, they would spend the night bragging loudly over their conquests of the day. But this evening, Tak'a-Tamen was sitting in Mordan's seat.

Mordan: "What the... HEY YOU!"

Tak'a-Tamen didn't acknowledge Mordan, which made him even more annoyed as he marched up to his table.

Mordan: "You're in my seat punk!"

Tak'a-Tamen didn't move, but responded anyway,

Tak'a-Tamen: "Your name is not on this seat."

By this time, all eyes were turning as the inevitable confrontation grew,

Mordan walked around the table so he could meet Tak'a-Tamen's gaze,

Mordan: "Unless you want your arms pulled apart, you're gonna do exactly what I tell ya!"

The four Malistarens surrounded Tak'a-Tamen and cracked their knuckles. He could sense their confidence and also their scencerity at 'pulling his arms apart'.

Mordan: "Time's up punk. You had your chance!"

The four Malistarens took hold of Tak'a-Tamen, but were suddenly pushed back by an unseen force. Three of them hit the walls, but the fourth was pushed against the gallery railing and fell to the floor below, breaking his neck. As Tak'a-Tamen stood up, Mordan stood back produced a lightsabre and activated it.

Mordan: "Think you're smart tough guy?"

His confidence grew, as did the sumg grin accross his face.

Mordan: "Didn't expect me to have a lightsabre did you? Now you're gonna pay!"

Mordan lept forward, twirling his lightsabre in an almost impressive fasion, ready to strike at his opponant. But instead of hearing the pleasing sound of burning fleash and agony, his attack was deflected. He lost his footing and fell to the floor. Dazed, he looked up and saw that the stranger was holding a bigger lightsabre. The blood-red blade glowed menacingly as Tak'a-Tamen looked down at him.

Tak'a-Tamen: "You know not what you are dealing with.

He then directed his hand towards one of Mordan's henchmen, who was suddenly lifted above the ground. The Malistaren gasped for air as he felt as if his throat was being crushed. His legs were swinging in mid-air as Tak'a-Tamen directed him over the drop towards the ground floor. Tak'a-Tamen relaxed and his helpless victim plunged to his death. Mordan was writhing in fear as the powerful Sith lord approached him. He just knew he was going to be next. Just then, Tak'a-Tamen stopped,

Tak'a-Tamen: "You are familier."

He searched his memories and quickly remembered,

Tak'a-Tamen: "You took that lightsabre from a Jedi."

Mordan winced as he knew it was true, but didn't want to admit it in case his attacker killed him. But he was suprised by his reaction.

Tak'a-Tamen: "You are going to need it. My apprentice wants revenge and will kill you."

Not wasting any time, Mordan simply nodded his head, grabbed his lightsabre and ran out of the bar. His surviving heavies limped after him as a garrison of Remnant troops entered. Tak'a-Tamen looked down at them.

Tak'a-Tamen: "You will take me to your captain."

In an uncharacteristic fasion, the troops escorted Tak'a-Tamen out of the bar and towards their superior's barracks...

Banak sighed. "Unfortunatly, you are correct. Hopefully they will learn before they face overwealming odds. They seem to think a lightsaber and a few force powers makes them invulnerable." He hmms and reaches his arm out, the still lit saber coming back to his hand. "You should see the council now, to see about protection. Inform them that it was I who suggested it."

With that, he replaced the saber on his belt and walked towards the door, wondering what he was going to do about the hardheadness of the initiates.

"Well kinda, we only first knew each other on the shuttle that brought us here," Eamon said, watching the duel.
I looked over at Eamon. "Hey! You still up for a match after this?"

The Dark Lord Masaki smiled. "It is nearly time to go."

He walked from his hut to a hidden area of branches. He pulled out a small remote from his pocket and pushed the button. A Stealth Shuttle shimmered into view, black as the night sky itself. Lord Masaki walked into the shuttle and started up all systems. Satisfied that all is green, the shuttle lifted off and headed to Nar Shaddar. It won't be long now!

Eamonn turned around to where he saw Daniel. "So you finally decided to show up then?" he remarked.

"Heh. I thought Master Banak would be interesting, but he's crazier than I thought." I said, shaking my head at the lesson.

Eamonn folded his arms and leaned against the wall. "A good dueler doesn't get distracted," he said.

HK sighed.. or at least he would have if he could, watching banak leave the room, he Analysed what had been said, he would take his advice.

HK called up a map of the academy, predicting where the council should be present at this time, he set off for the room most likely to be housing them.

--A while later!!!--

HK's red metallic arm reached out and tapped on the door with a slight klunk, he then waited for a response, even though he may not get any, a droid of his calibre isnt as detectable as a Meatbag, HK thought.

OOC: IIRC, some Jedi, like both Anakins, can sense mechanicals (power supply, etc) but obviously, Daniel does not have that ability.

"Come in." Master Elendil said after hearing the knock.

"Good advice." I said, knowing that already. I sat back, watching the duel unfold.

Eamonn then said nothing, he just quietly watched the duel.

Captain Freeman stood over his officers as they went about their duties. Even though the Empire had collapsed, many of the distant worlds were still under Remnant control. Nar-Shaddar was no different with storm troopers patrolling the streets enforcing a law created by a dead empire. However, Captain Freeman had vowed to carry on until the end regardless of the opinions of the new republic and the Jedi.

Nar-Shaddar was one of the few remaining large bases in the galaxy. At least 50,000 storm troopers were stationed there, scattered across the planet. A staging area in the neighbouring star system held a few star destroyers. But despite the localised mass of Imperial hardware, it was still no match to retake the galaxy under the flag of the Empire.

Freeman's concentration was distracted when his comms officer called to him,

Comms: "Sir, a patrol has returned escorting a VIP."

Freeman: "What? There are no VIPs. I'll go and see to it."

Freeman left the control deck and walked down to the entrance of the barracks. The doors slid open and a tall figure, dressed all in black stood in the entrance. Freeman suddenly felt a chill down his spine as the individual looked into his eyes.

Tak'a-Tamen: "I am Warlord Tak'a-Tamen, your new master."

His cold and calm voice ressonated and it took everything Freeman had, not to run away and hide. Then for no reason he could think of, Freeman calmed and restored his composure.

Freeman: "Warlord Tak'a-Tamen, we are honered by your presence but..."

Tak'a-Tamen: "You may dispense with the plesentries captain. I am here because I need an army and you will obey."

Freeman bowed and then followed his new imperious leader down the hallway.

Tak'a-Tamen: "Very soon a Jedi called Eamonn Jarlath will come here, perhaps with others. When he does, I will want your troops to keep him busy."

Freeman: "May I ask to what end my lord?"

Tak'a-Tamen: "When I get to him, he will need to do a lot of soul searching."

They continued down the corridor. Tak'a-Tamen knew that Alex Masaki would arrive soon. Then, they could get their plans under way.

Kasandral eyes Daniel as he talks to Eamonn. Then, somehow knowing that she had to move soon...that the time was coming....she moved closer to Eamonn and whispered to him.
"Eamonn...he thinks he is better than you. My family on Nar Shadaar thinks differently. They wish desperately to meet you. I'm going there this weekend...would you like to come?"

Eamonn thought for a moment. Was she trying to use his current anger towards Daniel for something, it certainly felt that way. Right now he didn't feel like leaving Yavin IV yet as he hadn't fully settled yet.

"No thanks," he said at last. "I need to settle down here before going anywhere else."

"Very well....have it your way. I don't want you to feel uncomfortable. But my family really does wish to meet you on Nar Shadaar sometime...they don't have a ship, otherwise they would come here. I have hardly settled in here at all, but I'm still going this weekend. Let me know if you change your mind, okay?" Kasandral was frusterated. Her first mission, and she couldn't even get him to really talk to her! Still, she was careful to hide her frustration.
She began to slowly walk away.

Lord JWolf look over at Kasandral and Eamonn. What are they talking about? thought Lord JWolf. Then he turn back to Kartion.

"Attack me, now" said Lord JWolf.

Lord JWolf took Erik to do something in his mind. Erik, go put a tracking device on Kasandral's ship.

Erik answer with his mind. Yes, my lord.

Erik turn and walk out of the door. As the door closed, he took off run to the hanger.

Erik got the hanger after a two mins. and open the door.

It took Erik a few second to find Kasandral’s ship. He walk open to it and placed two tracking devices on it. One dummy and a real one.

Then turn and walk back to dueling room B.

Kasandral watched as an initiate quickly left the room, and then returned several minutes later...she thought nothing of it.

"Ok," Eamonn said, shrugging his shoulders.

He glanced at Erik as he left the room before looking back at the duel.

When Kasandral arrived at her room, she immediately tried to go to sleep. She hoped that Master Tak'a Tamen would help her....she needed advice.

Erik walk back in with two ice-cold bottles of water.

"Daniel, do you wants some water?" said Erik as he was holding the bottle out.

Tak'a-Tamen meditated as his new army set about preparing themselves. He reached out with his mind.

Tak'a-Tamen: "Kasandral, you will hear this when you next sleep. Before you awaken again, you will have learned the basic skill of the force grip. You will be able to render your opponant immobile with a thought."

Tak'a-Tamen went through the proceedures in his mind. Over and over, he repeated the images of the many thousands he had killed with but a single thought. And for every victim he showed, he demonstrated the technique. She would only pick this up when she slept. But sleep was one of the constants in the universe, so she would learn it sooner or later.

His mind reached out even further and felt the presense of Alex Masaki's stealth shuttle.

Tak'a-Tamen: "Excellent. Everything is proceeding as planned."

David Miles, just waking up, said, "Get me to the Council..." He was winded by now, and knew he shouldn't do that again. "I must see them." He then lays down again.
"No, you must rest. That last encounter nearly killed you. I'll bring the Council to you." the Orderly ordered

"Son, not a word of this to your mother."
"Yes sir. So, how was your sleep."
"Shut up! I think I may know the location of the enemies. Its an Empire controlled planet..." He lapses off into sleep again.

Kasandral quickly learned force grip...how she loved the feel of it. She also tried desperately, by thinking of Tak'a Tamen, to will him to give her advice on the problem with Eamonn........

"I'll be right there." Master Rydo said. She headed out while Master Elendil was talking to HK. Soon, she was at the medical room. "Yes, what is it?"

He landed at a dock and stepped out of the shuttle. He then stretched out his feelings and began to look for Tak'a-Tamen.

I cocked my head at Kasandral. There's something funny going on about her, but I can't quite place it. Hmm. I think I need to talk to Kartion after the duel.

Erik held out a bottle of cold water. "Yeah, thanks, Erik." I drank down a quarter of the bottle.

Eamonn didn't think that he trusted Kasandral, there was something strange about her. Maybe she was playing mind games with him about Daniel, maybe she had been put up to it by him. He wouldn't put it past him so he decided to try and avoid her for a couple of days or so.

"Very well, but we will be watching your actions very closely." Master Elendil said. "Your parts would make for good lightsaber parts, you know."

Alex was greeted two Remnant troopers who initially raised their weapons. But after a moment in trance, they saluted Alex and let him in. Tak'a-Tamen stood in the entrance way,

Tak'a-Tamen: "Alex, welcome to the new order. A whole army at our disposal, ready to be put to use."

A faint smile crosses his face,

Tak'a-Tamen: "How does it go with Daniel Masaki?"

I sensed something funny, but brushed it away.

"The boy is growing stronger every day." Alex smirked. "He should prove a challenge when the time comes, but rest assured that he will turn."

Tak'a-Tamen: "Excellent. The rival to the heir is stubborn. My apprentice is trying to get him here on Nar Shaddar. Sooner or later his curiosity will get the better of him."

They walked into a throne room and Tak'a-Tamen sat upon a large, black chair.

Tak'a-Tamen: "I asked you here because I need you to do something for me."

They walked into a throne room and Tak'a-Tamen sat upon a large, black chair.

Tak'a-Tamen: "I asked you here because I need you to do something for me."
"What would you have me do?" Alex asked.

David wakes up again about a half-hour before his next class and says to his son, "Lead class today for me. Just run over simple demolitions without lightsabers. Just go over the use of plastic explosives. Use one column per class and have them practice on the trees in the Forrest."
"Sure dad, anything else?"
"Yeah, get me a Mountain Dew."
"Sure, and I won't tell Doc either."

Right as Kartion got to in front of Lord JWolf, he jump right over Kartion. Lord JWolf twists in the air and lands facing Kartion's back. Then swing the lightsaber in his right hand at Kartion’s head and the other lightsaber stay at a / formation.

Eamonn continued to watch, now and then his mind wondered about Kasandral and what she was up to.

HK Bowed to Master Elendil, merely out of respect, and left the room, heading for the Dueling rooms, he wasnt exactly wasnting to face anyone after Banak, but had decided to brush up on his melee, before finding Daniel Masaki.

Then he drop to the ground and use his leg to push him to the wall. As his got up, he deactivate his lightsabers and was holding them.

Lord JWolf grinned a Kartion. Erik hit the lights. said to Erik in his mind.

The dueling room's light went off.

Lord JWolf stay away for Kartion's lightsaber blade light.

The lights went off, bathing the dueling room with the glow of the lightsabers. I grinned, impressed at Kartion's skill already, but I knew he has more tricks up his sleeves...

Eamonn looked up as the lights when out. "Interesting," he said quietly to himself, a very interesting turn to the duel he thought.

Lord JWolf put his lightsaber on his belt. Then he put his hunting knife and throw it at Kartion's lightsaber. After the knife leaves his hand, he pulls his lighsabers but doesn't active them.

Lord JWolf could see where everybody is at in the room. So if his knife miss, it will hit the wall.

Grinning, Kartion twisted the grip, making the emitters create a normal shaped blade. Grinning, he cut off the force supply to the sabre, making the room completely dark. Sighing, he removed an apparently silenced gun from his pocket. Grinning, he took aim...

A few seconds later, a small whistle could be heard...

OOC: I didn't break a rule. I didn't hit you with any force powers. I didn't use a gun. You can use the force to talk to people.

Rule 1 No force powers or using the Force. Rule 2 No guns. Rule 3 lightsaber are on stun.

Your guy has been you the Force to hang with a vampire.

I used the Force to 'see' how the duelists were doing. Man, Kartion is good. He has GOT to teach me that stuff!

OOC: You didn't say powers. You said: 'No Force'. Also, the gun isn't actually a projectile weapon, just play along and see what happens, either way, your turn to post.

Lord JWolf scented that Kartion have use the Force to find him. That damn cheater.

Lord JWolf jumps and land beside Kartion putting both lightsabers to his neck. “Don’t move.” said Lord JWolf.

OOC: Core. Do the pirate attack, now. Said that the pirates use one of the cargo ship that was take something to the academy.

"Lord JWolf...what are you doing?" I asked.

Meanwhile, the cargo ship Destiny Bond was heading to the Academy, full of foodstuffs and items valuable to Jedi. However, there is something more. The crew was actually killed by a pirate raid, and the ship was fixed up as new and given a new name. The MC80 Star Cruiser checked it out, saw nothing funny and let it pass. A mistake, for Captain 'Blackbeard' Morgan was a notorous pirate and bounty hunter, wanted in 8 systems for various atrocities.

"Arrr." he said, licking his chops. "5 million credits for capturing the Jurian heir. Hehehe! I will be getting a hearty ransom to boot for the lad's life. Now, remember the plan. We enter the hangar, using the ship's guns to destroy any defenders, then we attack. We take the heir and any other lil' apprentice, and then escape."

"Right, boss! But what about the fighters and all that?" a crewmember asked.

"Hehe. They would not dare attack if we have the Jedi brats around. If they use the 'urbolasers, they'll kill the brats as well as us. They will not do so." It was a gamble, but Captain Morgan wasn't a master pirate for nothing. Like many, he lived off the streets when he was a boy, but he quickly grew to prominence when he killed a gang leader and took over the gangs. Now, his gangs has grown troublesome for the Navy to deal with, grabbing powerful ships like a Nebulon-B frigate as a flagship.

The cargo ship lowered itself into the atmosphere of Yavin IV...

HK Walked into the rather strangely full duel room, his sensors only picking up the darkness, but not interfering with his sight.

"Lord JWolf...what are you doing?" I asked.

"Nothing, Daniel. Erik, hit the lights." said Lord JWolf.

Erik turn the lights back on.

The lights come back on. In the middle of the duel arena, Lord JWolf holding his two lightsabers on Kartion's neck.

Lord JWolf said "All of young ones in here. Know everything about your enemy before you attack. Know if they see in the night or other."

Kartion, this duel is over. You use the force to find me. I only use my eyes to watch you. said to Kartion use his mind.

Lord JWolf takes his lightsaber off of Kartion's neck and walk to the chair where his pistols & his duster is.

Banak retired to his quarters and sat on his bed, several sizes too big for him, of course. His quarters were sparsely decorated, but there were several locked boxes along the back wall.

He sighed and looked out the one tall, thin window. Outside, he could see the thick forests and a couple ships climbing through the atmosphere. Above all that, floating high, was Yavin. He stared at it, then closed his eyes and set to meditating.

"Padawan Banak, you are too impulsive. You fling gernades when the Force is more discreet, you fill other Padawan's heads with ideas that are forbidden. You are on the path to the Dark Side. Be careful that you do not destroy yourself."

Banak opened his eyes and saw the image of a Master long dead, a beautiful woman, watching him. "Master Laron... that was over a century ago. I am a Jedi Knight, an instructor. I tred neither light nor dark paths."

The woman sighed. "You have lived so long and have learned so little. You sleep in a room that has weapons stockpiled in it. You prepare for a war in your own quarters, therefore you will have one."

Banak opened his eyes as the chronometer beeped. Looking out the window, he could see several hours had passed. I hate when that happens.

"What would you have me do?" Alex asked.

Tak'a-Tamen: "Sooner or later Eamonn Jarlath will come here. You know as well as I that he is the rival to the Core throne and has the potential to become a powerful Jedi."

Tak'a-Tamen leant back, his fingers interlaced,

Tak'a-Tamen: "My apprentice is attempting to lure him here. I want you to take a few platoons of storm troopers and create an 'incident' on or near Yavin IV. Your presense will alert the Jedi and they will investigate by sending some Jedi out around the galaxy. Hopefully, Eamonn Jarlath will be with them. Daniel Masaki might be assigned with him. If that happens, we will have them both!"

"Hmm. Interesting. Perhaps we might even catch the Jedi off guard! What of the ships in orbit around the planet?" Alex asked, thinking of the research he has done over the years. "Even one platoon isn't going to fit in my shuttle."
