Well, admittedly, some math is boring as hell, and just won't be inculcated usably by a great many folk (including myself). One of the reasons i really didn't pursue that much. I had applied calc in college for a little while regarding sustainability and predator/prey situations, but i have had very, VERY little real-life application for most of it. It's the kind of thing that gets people beat up if they try applying to too much to their daily life :p
