Yes I do Daniella, just hold on a little longer we are coming!

I'll need blood . . . she said.

The lady looked down and spoke quietly, perhaps no one had even heard her, that is how silent she was.

"I am sorry, but it was not my fault. I did not know. Mephisto..."

She trailed off and just stood there looking down.

"Don't waste your power i can you's in and out as well as me you need your power to get to Daniella"

Mephisto appeared out of nowhere. Or at least his image did. "Don't be so sure of that, Ceran. My master, Lord of Darkness, the unnamable evil, is using his power to guard that world. Just give in..." Magic power came from him, forcing the others to begin to feel an overwhelming hopelesness. "Give up..."

The feeling of dread was spreading over Balfar. He was starting to doubt his abilities.

Izual looked up. This was the first time he had seen Mephisto. Something about the grotesque image angered him, he could feel the rage rising through his empty veins.

Without warning, Izual leapt to his feet, power eminating from him.

"I now know my purpose! It is to prevent foul beings such as yourself and your master from destroying this fair world! We will not give up! We can beat you and we will! Now be gone!"

A huge wind of energy came forth from Izual, fuelled by his rage. Within seconds the wind was gone.

"So, the traitor speaks?" Mephisto laughed, easily. "Fool. Do you know who I am?"

Massive waves of dark power came from him. He handed Izual the card of the horse's hoof. "Do you now? No?"

He revealed his true form. How about no? Foolish impling!

"Well your master might be guarding that world but that does not mean we won't get in now show yourself MEPHITOPHELES you cowadrice BASTARD"He roared as a shockwave of energy tore the gorund apart from beneath him.

"My, being the avatar of a dying god hasn't helped your sanity, has it Ceran?" Mephisto's image hovered in midair, unconcerned.

"You call me dying but i asure you i'm not and i'm itching to take you on you say you have legions of deamons well my legions could take them on and why do you have such interest in Daniella there are many more slaves who could make your "Secret"and i use the term loosely dark sword"

"I could destroy you, without even blinking. I see no reason to answer you, you shattered husk." Mephisto dismissed Ceran. "Well, traitors, what do you have to say?"

Izual shrank back from the true image of Mephisto.

"No matter what you are..... you will not win."

Balfar turned to see Mephisto.

"Ahh. The lord of destruction himself. It's been a while. We are taking the girl.... now leave us alone."

Mephisto shrunk back into human form. "So, traitors, you do recognise me." He shook his head. "Balfar, you have truly dissapointed me... all your potential, gone to waste."

"As for you, imp, have you forgotten who you are? Your mission?" Mephisto laughed as Ceran again tried to attack him. "Please explain to Ceran why he can't harm me, impling."

Balfar sighed.

"I did have a lot of potential didn't I? Well shit happens. You get hit by a gigantic sphere of holy energy and your life is turned around."

Izual looked back at Mephisto.

"All I know is that I am a new breed. But I am not like the others and I will not join them."

Izual looked over toward Ceran.

"This is simply a projection........"

"Fool... Treacherous impling!" Mephisto laughed. "You wish to be a mortal? THEN A MORTAL YOU SHALL BE!"

Black energy spun around Mephisto. He shot forth an immense orb of power into Izual.

Izual's demonic essence began to be drawn away.

<<If that's not okay, I'll change it>>

OOC: Can you just make it that it slowly depletes until it is all gone. I've got plans for Izual. Other than that it is fine.

IC: Izual screamed as as the energy flowed around him.

"No!!!! What are you doing to me?!"

Balfar sprung to life, sending a wave of his own dark power, spiralling into Mephisto's. Although Mephisto had already done damage, but it would take time.

OOC: Works for me.

IC: "Why, I've given you what you asked for! You didn't want to be a demon, so soon you won't be! You'll be like everyone and everything else... a mortal." Mephisto laughed and faded away.

Izual sat down. He was even more confused now. He could cope with being an unidentified demon. He could do whatever he wanted then.
Mortality was different. He would have to eat, sleep and dispose of his waste.

So many thoughts ran through his head that he felt he would explode. Izual looked up at Balfar with a grim expression.

"What do I do now?"

Balfar also wore a sombre face.

"I suggest you use what remains of your powers for one last act. It is possible to cope. I did it."

The silence of the forest was disturbing. It was like the ecosystem around Izual had understood the immensity of what had just happened.

"What kind of cruel tortue is this?" Kain asked quielty to himself. As he looked on...

Daniella saw something that made her heart leap. A dagger had been dropped carelessly. She picked it up, then quietly slipped into the shaddows and followed the demons to the battle.

Kain, the fools let me slip away . . . with a dagger!

The lady spoke queitly. "What should I do? How should I help?"

OOC:I know it's an illusion LOL i was calling for Mephisto to show himself and not be a coward.
IC:"Why do you do this coward i could destroy you easily and dit it never occur to you that you are just a mere pawn for Lucifer or Satan and while you worship him he manipulates you and what do you get?"
"So do you accept my challenge ?"

Izual could feel his strength slowly depletting. He knew it would't be long before he was fully mortal.

He looked up towards Kain and Balfar, an expression of intense fear on his face.

"We better go.... while I can still help."

Daniella saw something that made her heart leap. A dagger had been dropped carelessly. She picked it up, then quietly slipped into the shaddows and followed the demons to the battle.

Kain, the fools let me slip away . . . with a dagger!

The Inquisitors had appeared within the battlefield. "Somehow, I don't think we..."

A loud explosion rattled them as a pair of demons charged. "FOR GOD AND FATHERLAND! You only live once, men!" Captain Biagio led the charge...

Many demons noticed the arrival of the holy intruders. The remaining five demons from Roa were calmly resting when the ship had arrived.

Their rest was distrubed, and this made the devastating creatures furious. The sight of the 25 ft tall, crimson red beasts was enough to make a man die from fear. All five roared in unison as they spotted the inquisitors. They advanced on the pitiful mortals, prepared to fill their stomachs.

Daniella saw the beasts go for the Inquisitors. She tried to get their attention by swinging the daggar above her head.

"There! They're comming at you!"

"We need to go now! Balfar we need transportation, can you do it? None of us have much time!" Kain said to Balfar, urgently needing to get to Forge World.

The PlaneShifter opened fire, massive blasts of plazma and rockets firing from the spider-walker's cannons and into the survivors.

Holy power shot from the Inquisitors and into the demons.

Balfar raised his staff.

"Step Back."

As the others cleared some space for him, Balfar's eyes took on a crimson red glint. His deep blue cloak whirled around him as he summoned energies.

Once the required power was collected, Balfar pointed his staff directly in front of him. A thin red/blue beam shot forth and halted in midair.

Within seconds, the others could notice the fabric of the interdimensional barrier tearing. It looked as if a section of paper had been torn out of a larger sheet.

The portal sat there, a windown into another world.

"Let us go, this portal won't stay open forever."

The beasts roared with fury as they were bombarded with rockets. The ship did little but irritate them, but the holy blasts were burning their hide.

The five massive beasts looked down on the small humans. Before any could react, the closest beast leapt through the air, heading directly for the inquisitors.

Daniella ran back into the shaddows, watching, horrified.

I wish Kain were here. Daniella thought. She let a tear fall, then continued towards the battle.

"We could use a miracle, right about now." Biagio muttered as his men and women scattered.

OOC: Is the planeshifter a vital piece of equipment? Could you build another one if it were to be destroyed?

IC: The demon landed with a hard thud upon th steaming ashen ground. Immediately it rolled over and sprung onto it's feet, looking down on the scrabling inquisitors.

The beast's throat began to bulge...... this repeated three times. Once the monster judged it had enough, it released a tidal wave of dark green sludge, the smell being enough to kill.

Kain looked on for a second and then leapt through....the feeling of being electricuted coming over him. Then an extreme cold, then a intense heat. He then came out the other side....


(OOC Where are we teleported to? On the battlefield? Or somewhere else? Quick description of the plac, and who is there and where Daniella in relation.)

Daniella ran from the smell, trying not to pass out. All she did was run.

OOC: I have more... Kain, welcome to the battlefield.

IC: The HOPLITE breathing filters fall under incredible stress, but hold. They fire more holy energy blasts.

The lady saw the thin tear and Kain leaping through it. She thought hastily.

"He must be going for that girl. I should try and help."

She made haste as she quickly ran toward the portal. With a great leap she dove into it.

Ceran began summomning energy then let it out creating a rift in the dimensions so he can travel were ever he wants in a flash as he jumped a great flash of light signalled it's closing.
As he came out the otherside he sore the demons doing their purpose their job.

OOC: The portal pops up behind the large demons that are fighting the inquisitors.

The land is composed of a black, ash-like ground, there is lava everywhere and the place reeks of burning sulfur. Daniella is running away from the larger demons. But there are many smaller demons seperating Daniella and the others.

IC: As everyone disappeared through the portal, Balfar beckoned for Izual to go through. Finally he passed through himself, leaving the forest in an eary silence.

OOC: Do you mind if I destroy this planeshifter?

IC: The massive demon roared as it was assaulted by the searing pain of the holy magic. The demon suffers major burns to it's leg and is unable to stand, but this did not contain it's fury.

With the hatred of inquisitors in mind, the demon hurled fist fulls of molten rock and fire towards the inquisitors, the heat so intense that it burnt the demon as it did so.

Daniella felt a jolt. She turned around, feeling much safer and happy. Kain was near. She tried to feel his aura, dodgeing demons and hiding in the shaddows.

Kain, you've come for me!

Balfar stepped out of the portal, Izual by his side, and looked around Forge World.

"Well. It's been a while since I've been here."

Izual stumbled forward slightly.

"We must hurry, I can feel my strength fading."

OOC: Go ahead and destroy it.

IC: The Inquisitors roll away and return fire, their speed more than making up for the enemies strength.

The large beast is almost completely consumed with rage because the inquisitors are too fast for it. In a fit of pure spite, the beast turns to the nearby, stationary planeshifter.

With a look of amusement, the creature raises it's gigantic clawed hands above it's head. Demonic energies could be seen gathering with the hands. Within seconds there was a sphere large enough to fill a semi trailer.

In one direct sweep, the beast brought it's hands crashing down towards the planeshifter, the sphere of energy following the path. The dark sphere hit ship, burning a hole through it and disappeared.

All was quiet. Suddenly the ship was blown apart from the inside in a blast of demonic winds, blue flames and red hot metal. The planeshifter lay in pieces around forge world.

Balfar looked over to where the explosion had occured, dodging a sheet of metal in the process.

"At least the Knar'miks are occupied. Let's find Daniella before they notice us."

OOC: Tell me, ever read Dune? PlaneShifters are based on Holtzmann fields...

IC: There was a blinding flash of pure, white light as the PlaneShifter disintegrated. It's radiance equalled the sun's.

The Inquisitors quickly rolled to the ground and kept their eyes closed, but one of them was too close to the light...

OOC: Nope. Haven't read it.

IC: The demon that had destroyed the planeshifter, ironically was crippled by it. As it was metres away from the ship when it exploded, the light completely burnt out the massive eyes of the beast. It fell to the ground, rolling around in pain whilst wildly thrashing it's huge limbs in an attempt to crush any nearby inquisitors.

Balfar hid his face under his deep blue cloak whilst he waited for the brilliance of the explosion to die down.

"That was our miracle, brethren!" Biagio shouted. One of the women hurrumphed. "And sistren!"

They draw their holy blades and stab deeply into the demon's arms.

OOC: Is that a word? Well, it is now!

OOC: I....don't......know...... :roll:

IC: The demon thrashed around wildly as it was attacked by the inquisitors. It howled with pain as the blade penetrated it's flailing limbs, acidic bloody gushing out of the deep wounds.

The four other demons of the same breed watched on as their peer was attacked.

The thrashing demon began to unleash waves of poisionous demonic fluids all around it in an attempt to harm the inquisitors.

OOC2: Dealing with the other four won't be so easy.... :P

Ceran appeared behind the crippled daemon the portal closing he focused his fury on this one blow which he aimed at the daemons chest so the beast will die slowly and painfully.
He turned around and let loose at one of the other daemons a weak blast of his power utterly shattering it's kneecap he watched as it still caame closer infuriated but only slightly hindered.

The Inquisitors beat a hasty retreat, leaving one of their dead behind them. "Okay... we need another miracle!"

OOC: I hate it when Biagio's squad loses people. I had them as a Catholic Dirty Dozen. It's hard to do that when people die every single time!

The demon attempted to roar in anguish as it was struck by Ceran, but the wound in it's chest drained all the air out of the creature's lungs. It lay there gagging, swinging limbs wilding in the knowledge it was about to die.

The other four demons charged towards Ceran, a look of rage crossed their dark faces. They surrounded the Avatar, readying for a simultaneous attack.

OOC: Christoniac. Ceran has to have some weakness. It gets kind of boring when a character never loses or never gets hurt.

OOC:He does remember Nezgah he's not invincible he still has to regenerate and can be captured and banished for a couple o millenia.

Kain hated the Inquistors, there prejudice and thier arragonace drove him into rage...but they required his help. He drew the Brightblade....the hollow ring of the kindred blade, a clear message to those demons around him. The Brightblade offered a challenge in it's own warped toungue, that could be understood by the demons....to deny a challenge from another demon was unthinkable unless it was a trap of some sort or the like.

Kain began walking calmly towards his foe, thinking how best to fight it. He breathed out, and charged in, his sword ready....


(OOC Feel free to beat the hell out of Kain simply put if you have the chance. But obviously, there are other people around but they would be attracted to Kain due to his sword. He is not on the level of most of the characters, he barely survived the moon thing, so he will still struggle here.)

Daniella saw the demons searching.

They must be after me. she murmured. Kain, where are you?

Near.... Kain said to her, he felt her presance.

(OOC Where is Daniella anyways in realtion to Kain? Kain is with Balfar and co. And where is Kain anyways? A description?)

Where is near? I'm comming towards the battle. she said, staying to the shaddows.

(Somone please give a description of the area, the more info I get the better I can rp this.)

Be careful.....don't attack these ones head on, these are different...stronger

I will not attack at all. It would draw too much attention to myself. Daniella said, worried. I want to get out of here alive!

Good, hopefully we can get out of this alive....

The battle raged along, the sounds of the demons roaring thier gutteral and chilling warcry as they attacked....

Something stirred within Daniella.

Wait, I feel danger. I'm gonna stay here. she told him, hiding in the darkness.

OOC: The Forge World is surrounded by lakes of molten rock. The land is a hard, ashen kind of substance and the whole place reeks of sulfur. Kain, Balfar and Izual are near the inquisitors and the four huge demons. Daniella is a couple of hundred metres away, down near the forging area. There are many lesser demons between Kain and Daniella. The huge demons are attacking Ceran and the inquisitors. The sky is also a deep black and his blocked out by dark clouds, the only illumination being from the many fires.

Anything else?

IC:

Balfar called out to Kain.

"Unless you need some help, we'll find Daniella?"

The lady stood there looking around this new place. Fires sprung out all over the place, the sky was black. Dark grayish black clouds hung in the sky. Molten lava seeped from unknowns into lakes and pools. She smelt the smell of rotten eggs and laughed.

"Not to homely here," she snickered. "Now, to help find Daniella."

Demons were all around this place, some already engaged in battle. She thought to herself, "Now, if I am going to be able to find Daneilla then I will need her to feel negative emotions, strong negative emotions.

She stood there looking around. There was a large group of demons in front of Kain. She watched them all with a smile on her face.

The Inquisitors rolled out of the way again. "A miracle would be really, really nice right about now, if you are listening Lord!"

BuMp! for Kain

Kain charged in, his Brightblade upraised to stab into the molten demon. The demon was massive, it had molten breath pouring from it's gaping mouth, hellfire breathing out, the heat was too intense.

Kain charged towards it scaly back, his footsteps upon the hardened and cooled lava floor. A jet of flame rised from the floor, Kain narrowly avoided it, the flame offsetting.

Leaping up with a mighty bound he gripped onto the demons back:

The Brightblade flared a mighty unholy blue flame, and it drove itself into the half motlen back, Kain holding onto the beast with cloven feet and hands digged into it's hide, barely holding on due to the molten nature of the skin.

The sword, it's surface burning with unholy freezing flame, drove straight into the demon's back, it roared with pain it had not felt within a millenia. Driving in, burning, devouring, the Brightblade granted a power to which Kain had never felt before.

The sword, being a devouring entity, a powerful demon when free, began to devour the Demon's physical form. And that....the blood of the beast flwoed into the Brightblade, the beast spinning away from the Inquistors trying to get Kain off....he released lava jets from its back, but none hit Kain, he moved around, stabbing and thrusting.

The Brightblade drew the creatures lifeblood...and allowed Kain to drink it. Such power Kain had not felt before, it drove him insane with such immense power. His Cloak flew behind Kain in huge propotians (think spawns cloak only black right now), its fabric a deep and all consuming black.

The demon knew it was going to die....and die a horrible death at that. So..it decided to do the one thing it could do. It produced it's own wings...unferling them as it felt another stab and took off slowly. It flew into the air, almsot falling back to earth at the next stab. But then...it flew over a great lava river.....then it dived....

Kain was too into the combat, the blood driving him into a battle fury which he had never felt before, his eyes going blood red from the demon blood. An immese felling of falling took over him as the demon and Kain began to crash into the lava, a great distance from land....

The mighty demon and Kain....crashed spectaculary in a massive splash of molten lava, and they both submerged under the fiery and unholy liquid....the sounds of the demon gurgle scream as it decended into the lava filling the battle field. Was Kain dead? Could anyone survive the lava?

"Kain!!!!"

Balfar weaved passed the many oozing piles of lava, to the bank of the molten river.

"Izual. Find Daniella! Now!"

Balfar erected a large shield around him self before diving into the depths of the lava. He couldn't see anything but molten rock as he descended. Balfar was intent to find Kain. The bright blue shield illuminated a small part of the river, but it was too thick to help with more than a few metres away. Balfar continued to dive, calling out to Kain with his mind.

The remaining three demons laughed as they watched Kain dive into the lava with their peer. Obviously they had little affection for eachother.

Then they remembered how it had all begun. The inquisitors. The three massive creatures spun around to face the minute inquisitors. The beasts displayed their razor sharp teeth as they slowly advanced on the inquisitors.

Izual watched as Balfar dived into the river. He was intent on using his power whilst he still could.

He charged towards the nearest demon, bowling the lesser creature out of his path. Talons extended, Izual slashed at the demonic beings blocking his way. He could sense the difference in her presence, she wasn't far. But there were many demons between them.

Izual summoned two discs of buzzing, dark power. They slowly expanded until they reached the length of a bus each. In one foul swoop he launched the discs towards the many opposing demons. The dark blades sliced through all in their path, leaving severed limbs and moaning bodies behind them.

Izual fell to his knees. Normally this spell would not weaken him significantly, but every time he used his demonic powers.... he could feel it slipping away. But he would not give up. Izual climbed back to his feat and slowly made his way towards Daniella's position.

The endless depths of the lava consumed Kain....the burning flame unbearable....Kain's flesh was raging blue, the demon blood was still coursing thrugh his viens, he had drained the entire demon of its life.

Get...get out now...

The lava allowed Balfar to pass into it, but it was a powerful force. The magic began to fail as it went deeper. The lava grew hotter and more intense as it got lower.

Toiling, burning within white hot fire, Kain screamed as it scalded his body. Indescribable pain he felt, as he sunk lower. But something made him fight....the wanting to live, he did not want to remain eternity within this liqiuid torment.

He couldn't see, he tried franticly to swin up in the lava which melted his flesh, only for it to regenerate painfully as quickly as it was burnt away....

The demon blood raged through him, an unstoppable will to live, to fight to be violant to those who had caused such pain raged through his body, the pain urged him on. Kain did not know how deep he was....he kept on swimming upwards. The pain dulled the passage of time....Kain did not know seconds from millenia.

But after a while..he reached upwards with a cloven hand, which was grasped by Balfar....Kain kept on swimming, his body was eternally fatigued, the blood was keeping him going.

Balfar sucked the scaled Kain into his shield.

"We must hurry, my shield if failing."

The gem wedged in Balfar's staff began to glow even brighter as he channelled more power into the shield. The light completely blinding Kain.

Rising to speeds rarely accomplished by a single main, the pair burst out of the molten river just as the shield failed. The pair were launched through the polluted air, Balfar gagging on the stench of sulfur as he gasped for air.

Finally they came crashing down into a pile of severed demon corpses. Izual was at least fifty metres ahead, making his way towards Daniella.

Kain collapsed on the ground, his entire body one of a corpse, he was unrecognisable. He did not move....but his body slowly healed. His eyes returned to normal, he had a dull blank stare. His green skin was blackened, in many places bone was seen, in one part of his leg, the lava had gone straight through. Bone was being repaired, Kain looked like a horrifying zombie, his white hair burnt off. His eyes where healing...his body was returning back to normal.

With an urge, Kain vomited up lava which he had in in. He coughed hard, and bent over double in recovery, he was shaking in the pure shock of it.

Balfar was keeping gaurd. He didn't want any demons to interrupt Kain healing.

In a swift movement he swung his staff behind his head, impaling a small cat like beast. Eyes wide in disbelief, it collapsed to the black ground.

"Come on Kain. We don't have much time."

Kain was almost healed, his flesh was dark green, and he was still in placed revealing bone. His mouth was forming again, as was his tounge.

"That...thats easy...for...you to...say..." Kain breathed out, as he got up with the help of Balfar. With each step he took, it became easier to walk, but as a drug addict feels a high then a low, the same applied. Kain had expended a great deal of his own power just to survive that.....his Cloak was regenerating, as it began to form again on Kain's back, it was a crimson colour.

Balfar helped Kain walk towards the forging area.

"Daniella is down there somewhere. I sent Izual to find her."

Balfar occassionly discharged energy from his staff to ward of adventurous demons.

He too had sustained injuries from the lava, but they were minor and Balfar ignored them.

Kain's skin remained a deep green, it appeared fine, but Kain certainly was not. But he could walk normally, he still clutched the Brightblade, the effect of the demon blood gone now.

He walked on his own, his staggering pace going into a normal walk. He still looked horrifying, and he had a stence of a deadman, but he continued.

"Daniella!" Kain shouted hoarsly into the gloam of the dark passages. His eyes where in bad condition, he could barely see, they where bloodshot and blurry.

The lady watched the fight with Kain and the demon. She watched Balfar save him. She watched as Kain healed and staggered in search of Daniella. However, she did not just stand there now.

She thought to herself, "Kain looks weak. He may need my help. But, he would not want it. He is too proud to except help."

She started walking toward him when a contradicting thought entered her head. "If he did not want my help, then why would have he allowed me to come this far?"

She resolved to help, regardless of whether he wanted help or not. He could not bare the weight of saving Daniella on his shoulders alone. She needed to help, even if she was not wanted. She joined Kain's side.

"Kain I am here to help...," she cut off. She watched in the distance as a man fell to his knees. He got back up and slowly worked his way in one direction.

She spoke more or less to herself outloud, "Who is that over there?"

"T..thank you" Kain wheezed out, as he gripped his still burnt side. He had the other hand gripping the Brightblade as it scraped the floor, a chilling scape as it the metal scratched the floor. His Cloak was tattered and was a bronze colour, an odd colour for an emotion.

Balfar looked over to where the lady indicated.

"That is Izual. His power is fading, we must hurry."

Balfar called out to Izual with his mind.

Have you found her yet?

Yes..... she is surrounded by demons though.

Izual continued to stagger towards Daniella, Balfar, Kain and the Lady not far behind.

The Inquisitors begin to slowly back away. "Perhaps we can negotiate?"

The three demons continued their advance on the group of inquisitors. A ground shaking roar escaped the mouths of all three demons, the force being so intense that some of the inquisitors were knocked off their feet.

The beasts knew nothing of negotiation. They may be the biggest demons bread by Arithon, but they weren't the smartest. They had one intent, kill.

OOC:Sorry been away.

IC:Ceran got up and followed the remaining three deamons he yelled at them but it seemed to no effect he began to summon some of his power and threw it at one of them the energy dispersing on it's backas the unholy power burned throught the daemon that still walked on he flew under one of their legs and started hacking the deamons leg whic started flailing for Ceran jumped up but it's arm clipped his leg and he was flipped on his back.

The three demons continued their advance on the group of inquisitors. A ground shaking roar escaped the mouths of all three demons, the force being so intense that some of the inquisitors were knocked off their feet.

The beasts knew nothing of negotiation. They may be the biggest demons bread by Arithon, but they weren't the smartest. They had one intent, kill.

"Ah, I guess not. RUN AWAY!" The Inquisitors turn and flee.

The lady looks at Balfar. "Izual," she questioningly blurted out. "I see."

She walked faster toward the demons and stopped. She knew what she planned to do was dangerous, but she was compelled to do something.

She thought to herself, "If I create a diversion then Kain and Balfar could get through and save Daneilla without a problem, but it would be at the cost of the my life, perhaps."

One of the demons turned it's attention to Ceran and prepared to stamp him into the ashen ground.

The other two gave chase to the inquisitors. Unfortunately for the demons, they were slow creatures. They hurled balls of flame and razor sharp talons, but they could not catch the inquisitors.

"This is bad." Biagio looses another holy blast as a ball of fire scorches Jorna's armour incredibly.

No. There were 5 originally. Kain killed one. Then the inquisitors/Ceran killed the other.

Balfar immediately followe Kain. Staff raised and magiks flowing, Balfar also dived into the crowd of minor demons. He swung his staff in all directions, scorching all that came into contact with it.

The closest demon took the holy blast to the leg, but it had little effect. The distance between the beasts and the inquisitors was gaining. The demons realised they were not going to catch the inquisitors so they decided for a ranged attack.

Gathering up all the demonic energies they could muster, the three demons unleashed a wave of black flame. The heat so intense that it melted the ground below. The massive wall of flame rushed directly towards the fleeing inquisitors.......

Izual could now see Daniella, surrounded by several demons.

"Daniella, I'm coming...."

Kain landed onto one of the demons, it screamed as Kain's sword plunged into its back devouring it. A cloven claw smashed into the back of its skull, going straight through it, showering Kain with the demonic blood. The blood from the Brightblade flowed upwards to the hilt where it entered Kain body, granting its strength.

A demon landed on Kain's back, plunging its talons into his own back. Kain roared as he felt his green skin was being ripped open. He span around, throwing the demon off. Angered, Kain attacked again...

Daniella saw Kain from a distance with her sharp eyes. She nearly choked. He was different.

Daniella knew she was surrounded by demons, but they didn't seem to want her hurt, just captive. From lack of blood she was weak, and she knew joining the fight would mean death for wither her or Kain. She had to wait ...

Kain swung the Brightblade, slicing the demons throat. Almost instantounously, the crimson lake which flew into the air flowed into the Blade, which proceeded to feed Kain's thirst. It drove him further into his rage, his fist exploding into a demons chest and ripping its heart out, much to the demons horror. Kain devoured the still beating organ, then plunged the Brightblade into its head, the red liquid flowing constantly now up the sword.

Kain's eyes where blood red, his features where beastlike. His eyes accasionally dripped blood in access, none had ever seen Kain this angry. His Cloak flowed around him, the deepest black, which let no light escape. It seemed to suck you in...

Daniella sat, trying to gether her strength.

Kain, I will come soon. I will come to you, and we can leave ...

Kain heard a distant voice, but he didn't care. He was too deep into the frenzy. The demons around him swarmed ontop of him. Kain coninued to be a behamoth of destruction, ripping, shreding. Kain's own actions had no mercy...it rivaled the demons cruelity.


(OOC Bear in mind that Daniella has never seen this side of Kain before, she has only seen the calm extior of him. This might seem scary to her perhaps. Still, I do not know your character. At the very least, Kain seemed like a demon of war right now.)

Daniella looked up and saw Kain. She caugh her breath. Kain was evil ... Had the evil one turned him after all? She got up and ran, trying to get away from him.

A tear rolled down her cheek. She was alone. The one she thought she could trust was now fighting against her.

Kain was breathing heavily, he was covered with the dark red blood of his enemies. He roared his battlecry into the air in truimph, his claws flowed with blood. He was covered with it, it was like warpaint. The feeling was indescribable to Kain, never had he fed so much...he was feeling invincible.

He shook his hair, the red liquid pouring off his white hair, which was growing matted due to the blood. His gutteral breathing could be heard, as he recovered from the frenzy....he began to feel the same feeling a drug addict gets, the low from an incredible high.

Kain slowly got up, the blood still pouring off of him, he saw Daniella run away. "Wait!" Kain said, and was shocked by his own voice. It was deep and demonic like.

Kain ran after Daniella....he had a trail of blood, his footsteps printed in blood.

Weakened by her own state, and Kain's words sending chills down her spine, Daniella realized she couldn't fight him. She turned around, looking him in the eyes.

"If you're going to kill me, please do it fast." She said in a cold, quiet voice. The voice of defeat and fear.

rather set aback by what she said.

"W...what?" Kain's voice was returning to normal...but his appearance still looked demonic. He was still in the lower high of combat...his Cloak was still black.

"Why...why would I want to do that Daniella....I...I..came here to save you! Why would you think otherwise..?" Kain said, still recovering from what she said.

Daniella backed up, trying to gain her bearings. She didn't trust him.

"You were taken by the urge to kill. The evil one has you." She looked away, trying not to believe it.

The Brightblade clattered to the floor. Kain looked down on the weapon, shocked. The demon sword had been effecting him during that combat.

"Please....that urge to kill was nessicery. You...you don't understand my child...what the demonic blood does to your mind....let alone what bloodlust I have had to endure for three months let alone a day! I feel the thirst thrice more, and I have had to endure this thirst for all this time...only sustained by the Brightblade...I could not contain myself...but...they deserved to die Daniella. Those demon bastards took a part in capturing you." Kain expained, the sword omnusly watching. Kain appeared slightly more civilised now, the battle rage now almost gone.

Daniella shook with fear, then anger.

"My blood is avaliable, and you know that." she said. "I understand this was hard-is hard-for you, but if it turns you like that, then maybe you shouldn't have come."

The words stung Daniella as she said them, and she immediatly wanted to take them back, but she was still not sure if this was the real Kain ... if he was sincere.

(OOC God damn, I put this post up!)

"We cannot feed off each other! I would drain you to a husk with my all consuming bloodlust...of course you do not know....You do not know of what Daja and Qui did to me do you?" Kain said quietly.

Daniella shook her head. She had no idea. She began to trust him a little more, but did not move closer.

As the demon brought his foot down above him he rolled to the side the ground shattering beneath the blow he summoned his fury his claws came out above his hands and he jumped toward the demons temple just as it had finished the destructive spell he was like a bullet travelling at unbelievable speeds he sped towards it's temple claws outstretched...

As he impacted on it's temple blood spattering the ground and him he flew through it's head it's acidic blood burning him and the ground he was like a collosal wave of fury,energy.destruction,wrath and carnage he didn't know whether the beast was dead or not he stood on the beasts chest heavily breathing a dark aura emanating from him he was extremely angry and powerful.
He had never been this furious except for one time as he remebered that time he was overcome with fury and he pulled his large fist up creating a dark shadow over the downed daemon's head he knew it would be dead after this blow and he punched with all his strength tearing a gaping hole in it's forehead and shattering the ground below.

OOC:The other demons are welcome to attack me and try to capture me just my two cents.

Daniella shook her head. She had no idea. She began to trust him a little more, but did not move closer.

"Tell me, then."

"They...they added to the curses I already have....imagine your worst moment during the thirst, where your mind screams for the substance....you become a savage, an animal which has staved and found a prey. Imagine that thirce more for myself...I face this even now, after this enormous feed! I still feel the thirst! I cannot kill mortals, I cannot defend myself against mortals, even the smallest wound I inflict upon a mortal causes me incomprehenisble pain Daniella, should I kill one I ould die a horrible death myself. Do you know how that makes me feel? How vunerable I feel everyday? If those bastard inquisitors ever knew this, they would kill me as though I was a new born babe...And...all this I bear....and you wonder why I acted so? Months of starving....the hunger which I felt but my body was sustained by this sword."

Kain looked at the demonic blade.

"You will never....never understand my...pain. All these things I can bear...but the last curse you know but...but under..underestimate what it did to me. You know not of what...what Rave did for me...how she saved me! Saved everything I loved! My nation, my people! And look...look how I betrayed...betrayed God's own personal servant! A serapiam Daniella! Do you know who sired me? Who I betrayed? The one person who truelly understood..I..who can never talk to in the same way. Whenever I look at her, I feel my shame....shame for my betrayal to the Shentavos....but still...if...if I had to do it again...to turn you. I would Daniella. I would..." Kain paused, gathering himself again, his tears of anguish ran down his face as he looked at Daniella.

"I have been exiled from the Shentavo's given further curses on top of what the Seer gave me....this death vision which plagues me....And still I would bear it all for you! You think for one second that..I..I..would kill you? To make my sacrifice worthless? How could you think that Daniella? I love you Daniella....I..I love you. I..I..always have..." Kain hourse voice was wavery, his true emotions where coming out, he wept while he spoke, burning tears. His shoulders buckled, he was shaking, all of his pain was coming out.

Daniella opened her mouth, but no words came out. Kain, the great, strong vampire, who she looked up to for everything, the one whose emotions had been blocked from him, had learned to love. She was stunned. It suprised her even more so to find he admired her. Daniella didn't know what to say, but it was obvious in her mind that she had always loved Kain.

She stepped closer, and touched his arm.

"I'm sorry ... Please forgive me for my foolish words."

"No...save the words...you couldn't have known....feed from me....you need it. I can take it." Kain siad and exposed his neck. He gripped the Brighblade tighter.

Daniella stepped up and gently pierced his skin with her fangs, only drinking enough to give her energy. When she was done she looked into his eyes.

"What now? Have you found a way out?"

"We will have to leave the way I came in, through teleportation." A raging noise of screams and an explosion.

"We need to help them....Can you fight? I know it is a great deal to ask, but....we need to break through. We need to help them." Kain trailed off and had a thought.

"I can handle the combat...the demons. I don't think you would...unless. Unless you used the Brightblade. It will protect you..grant you strength..but you need to resist the swords will. It is the only way Daniella...I can survive without it once I get into the combat. Will you take the sword?" Kain asked, showing her the curved demon blade.

Kain spoke to the demon blade silently.

You want what?
You heard. If she dies, I do not keep my part of the bargin. You can rot in that sword for all I care if she dies. Is that understood?
Without me you die Kain, you cannot abandon me if she dies.
If she dies, I die. Simple enough. Protect her to protect yourself
*growls*Fine Kain. You walk upon thin ice with your requests.

Daniella looked at Kain, worry in her face.

"I would do anything if it ment your survival, but the brightblade keeps you alive. If you die, the world is done for. I can fight."

"I will feed from my enemies...do not worry. I will be fine...I only need it in peace times when I cannot feed....please...for your own safety, take the blade. Ignore it's words....fight it's will. It is a powerful weapon, but one which is double-edged. It should not effect you in the time you will have it. Should...should I die....destroy the weapon and let the demon free. It deserves that much." Kain said to Daniella, brushing her face with the soft part of his cloven hand.

"Even with my cursed eyes I can see how beautiful you are..." Kain commented.

"I love you Daniella....no matter what happens." Kain said to her a smile upon his lips, he put his own mind on the tightrope. Should the answer he want be givien he would recieve the prize and walk away. Should he face rejection....he might fall...with no safety net....

Daniella took hold of Kain's hand, keeping it on her face.

"Kain, I've always loved you. I'm not sure how long I've felt this way, but I think I've always known, since you saved me from that hell hole I called home. I belong with you ..."

She removed her hand, then touched the brightblade. She felt a brief sensation of power, but it left her as she removed her hand.

"I will take the blade, and do as you say ..."

Kain smiled, an immense feeling of happyness coming over him. He prized the moments...

"Now this...this will feel a little wierd. Fight him, do not submit. He should not give you any problems....just....be on you guard." Kain said.

Kain put the sword into the floor, the bone hilt was ready for Daniella. Already Kain felt the effects of mot having the Brightblade with him, he clenched his fist.

The Brightblade was upright there....seeming to be an ordinary sword.

(OOC Something drastic will happen when he grips it. Just rp when she take the sword and I will lead you.)

Daniella was nervous. She brushed her hair back, as she always did when she was frightened. She looked into Kain's eyes and, totally trusting him, gripped the handle.

Daniella gripped the handle. Kain knew what she would face, what she would feel.

She saw the world around her slow down, every breath could be heard, her own deep and heavy. An immense sense of vertigo took over her, and she began to sweat fevorishly. The world began to spin....Daniella fell ot her knees, the world began black. But Kain saw none of this. All these events occoured within an instant.

The world around her grew black, and the world was lost, only to be replaced by pure blakc world.

A voice sounded in the distance, an ancient voice, deep and calm.

"Why do you love Kain?" The demon asked from all around Daniella.

Daniella choked. What was happening? Should she be frightened?

"I love him because ... Well, I ... because ..." She was stumped. "Because I can't help it."

The large beast attempted to destroy Ceran but was outdone by his agilitiy. Within minutes the beast was dead after a blow through the skull.

One of the two remaining beasts turned around to see Kain and Daniella off in the distance whilst the other pursued the inquisitors.

The beast realised that Kain was not meant to reach Daniella and decided it must stop Kain. The demon outstretched it's gigantic arm, a razor sharp talon protruding from the wrist. With one might swing, the talon was sent hurdling through the air towards Kain.

Balfar watched as the gigantic talon swept passed his head. He attempted to destroy the lethal missile but was stopped by a large demon ramming him in the back.

"No!! Kain, behind you!"

Izual turned around to see the huge talon racing towards Kain. He knew Kain couldn't die, he had a fledgling to look after. Izual didn't have any purpose in his life, none would miss him.

Izual gathered what was left of his demonic strength and leapt into the thick air, crossing into the path of the speeding talon. The missile passed through Izual's abdomen and pinned him to the ground next to Kain.

Normally he could pull himself off the talon and he would heal, but he was no longer immortal. Izual could feel the life seeping out of him, his very essence fading. He was only alive because of the little demon strength he still possessed. He could feel the darkness taking hold of him. But he didn't want to die here. He made a short request of the others.

"I don't want to die here. Take me back to the forest grove."

"RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY!" The Inquisitors keep running. All of a sudden... "Wait. All of these demons are here for a reason... no?"

They turn to where the dark energy was strongest. "If we were to destroy that reason," Biagio continued, "Then at least our deaths would mean something."

(OOC Ok, I am going to deal with Daniella at the same time. Just for simplicities sake, Daniella's event will onyl take a second to occor, so she can fight etc.)

The demon began to form, although in not a way that she would have expected. He appeared in a long flowing white robe, he was much like Kain, with that air of supiority and infinate pataince and calmness. But in different this being was far more powerful, one could tell just by looking at im that this being held great power.

He had blond hair and a regal look about him. His voice was smooth and comforting.

"Is that so. And what of his sacrifices? Do you know of his past? When he was mortal? The full truth?"

Kain saw this act of sacrifice. Why did everyone he care about have to die? He attacked the demon running around it, sending his own spells against the demon, trying to drive its attention away from him. Hopefully Balfar might be able to do something....

He sent a piller of light towards the demon, trying to harm the demon. The sepll was not that effective, Kain was running and having to cast a spell, it was a hard thing to do.

Kain would repay his debt to him for saving his life later...but now, he had to fight and draw those demons away from those inquisitors....

Kain held little love for the Inquisitors, they could rot in hell for all he cared, which was what they where going to do. But...there was more at stake than these smaller morals. Kain looked at the bigger picture.

With a resounding voice throughout the battlefield, he began to run over away from the Inquisitors, he bellowed. "Demons! Your precious prize is here! Face me or be destroyed!" Kain roared, as he sent smaller annoying beams of light energy towards the demons. It did little damage, but it got there attention.

You do realise that you could die here Kain!Cloak said desperatly
I know Cloak, I know. There is too much at stake here for there to any half-measures.

Kain stood alone, and readyed his final wave of spells...

The Inquisitors looked at Kain. "Damn that fool! He's not trained!" They charge away from him, luring the smaller demons into the reach of their blades.

Balfar exploded in wave of energy, his worry for Izual fuelling his power. He charged through the pack of demons, staff first until he reached the still body of Izual.

Balfar cast several spells of healing with a wave of his blood covered hand. Unfortunately, the spells only prolonged Izual's life.

"Kain.... We need to get out of here.

Izual is slowly lifted off the talon and patched up. Balfar worked frantically to ensure Izual wouldn't die.

Come on..... don't die damnit!

One of the larger beasts continued to pursue the inquisitors, launching fire balls and other demonic projectiles in an attempt to destroy the holy invaders.

The other had noticed Kain launching spells at it. The beast roared with fury as it realised Kain had not been impaled on the talon. It launched several lumps of acidic bile at Kain, whilst preparing a assortment of fireballs.

"Okay. There is only one left." The Inquisitors gathered all of their power. "Though I walk in the shadow of the valley of the dead, I shall know no fear. The lord is my shepherd, and shield."

A massive holy blast flew from them and into the beast. "God's power!"

The beast had not been expecting such an attack and took a direct hit.

The intense holy power sent the massive demon flying through the air, it's hide being burnt to a crisp. As it arced through the thick air it's landing point could be predicted. The molten lake. The demon landed with a enourmous splash that sent lava flying in every possible direction.

The beast struggled for a few moments before the lava burnt through it's hide and destroyed vital organs.

OOC: Demons have vital organs?

((Sorry if this is a double post, and this is going to be my last post in this thread for tonight. :cry: ))

OOC: They aren't just filled with air.....

Kain saw the acid coming towards him...and did something he never did in combat. He prayed. He recited a passge of the bible in his weaving of the counterspell.

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children." Kain chanted while he moved his hands in arcane patterns.

The Gods replied, yet it was not in the way kain had quite hoped. The acid spurted towards him. A wall of white light crackled in front of Kain, but some of the acid went through, burning Kain's hand. Kain winced in the pain, but did not break his consentration, he was annoyed by God's sloppy salvation but he was not in the moaning mood right now, he had a demon to kill. At least he was alive...well, wrong term.

Kain looked up at the demons preparation of the spell...he respnded in kind. He began to summon up great torrents of water around him.

"And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers! And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon YOU!"" Kain roared as he sent the holy and blessed waters gushing with unatural speed as they where a piller, a battering ram charging with incredible force, the prayer heard by all.

Kain's Cloak flew magnificantly behind him...a brilliant white.

The beast unleashed the fireballs just as the enchanted water gushed towards it. The fire and water clashed in an explosion of oppossing forces, the spells countering eachother. Although most of the water was evaporated a small portion managed to splash into the eyes of the huge beast.

It shrieked in monumental pain as it's retinas were burnt to a crisp by the holy water. The beast was now randomly flailing massive limbs on the odd chance they would hit Kain.

Balfar enclosed Izual in a shield of protection and dragged through a path of withering demons. He noticed a massive demon sprawling through the air and into the molten lake whilst Kain casted spells on another of the same breed.

Before he got much further, Balfar turned around.

"Daniella! We must go. Follow me!"

"I know little. But my faith is in Kain." She said, honestly.

Daniella picked up the brightblade. She knew she wasn't going to die. For some reason, the demons wouldn't kill her. She walked up to the large demon and thrust the blade in his throat. Daniella let the blade do the killing.

Balfar looked up to see several dark red portals tearing open in the sky. Dozens of demon poured out, all with one intent. Kill the invaders. He watched as they continued to fill the area behind him.

"This isn't good. We must leave now!"

Balfar pulled Daniella into his field of protection, dragging her towards Kain.

"The portal is over there."

He indicated to a large crater in the ground, surrounded by dead or maimed demons.

Daniella helped to drag Izual's body towards the portal.

"Kain, let's go!"

"Let me tell you of whom you so dearly "love". Kain was mortal, he was just and a good leader. His homeland, Velmora, he ruled with rightous hand he was fair. The people loved him. But then came a time of war. Xzar, wielding the Accursed Rings, went insane and attacked Velmora. kain attacked back with his own force, Kain won that battle. The exact events are long...but it occoured again. Xzar was breaking free of the prison they where trapped him in, the Eternal Prison, or The Chamber, the one which Kain plans to go into."

"Kain, with Rave went into the prison and attacked Xzar with his demon hoarde. I was there, I fought as this eternal prison, the Brightblade. Kain won, but at a terrible price. The Spirit of the rings left xzar's body and ravaged his body. Kain left the battlefield victorous, but his soul was being corrupted by the Spirit."

"Kain resigned and left Jerrid in charge of Velmora, the youthful and impressionable man who now has caused so much chaos and destruction within Velmora. But....Kain did not know of what was occouring to his soul. He was dying slowly, his vision saw only death in everything, as I am sure you know. He still bears that today. Rave gave Kain a choice. Die by her hand, or join her in eternal unlife. Kain chose unlife and left Velmora secretly, the people of Velmora thinking he had died a heros death."

"Now do you understand why Kain feels so much shame? I am suprised that Kain would have given up so much for you child....but I know how Kain thinks. Kain had total loyality to Rave, he still does now. Poor man."

The demon walked over to her, and touched her head and everyone resumed as it should.

The Brightblade exploded in white blue fire, it felt cool to Daniella but to her enemies it burned most horribly. As the blade went into the body, it's blood was drained, inbuing Daniella with the demonic life essance. She felt like nothing else, full of energy...and rage.

The Brightblade swept around killing, blocking draining guiding Daniella. Daniella finally understood what Kain felt during that feed....

A limb crashed downward, Kain narrowly escaped the first. The second limb came crashing down, Kain dived out of the way, but it crashed onto his legs.

Kain gave amoan of pain as he felt his cloven feet being crushed. Desperately he tried to escape, puling his legs from underneth...

Daniella dropped Izual and ran to Kain.

"No, don't do this!" She tried to move the branch, but she wasn't strong enough.

(OOC She is pretty far away, it is one of the demons)

The Brightblade refused to allow Daniella to move. Kain looked at Daniella, and pulled himself free slowly. He hobbled over...but the flayling limbs smacked into Kain's back, sending him onto the floor.

"Go! GO! For God's sake GO!" Kain commanded her, as he tried to get up again. His mind was pounding with pain, his feet he couldn't feel, they where crushed.

He crawled along, the massive demon creating a wall of it's limbs flayling.

Balfar raised his staff and pointed it at the demon's large head. He uttered a few incantations before releasing a golden arc of energy directly into the face of the massive beast.

The blast was enough to push the beast backwards, taking it's arm with it.

He brought Izual closer to Kain and Daniella. He then pointed out the army of demons arriving far behind them.

"We must leave. There are too many of them."

kain got up slowly, he was near them. He almost fell over.

"What about the Inquisitors? We cannot just leave them here!" Kain said, looking at the combat below, the sounds of combat and fire raging throughout this land.

Kain almost collapsed form the pain in his legs.

Balfar looked over to see the lost looking inquisitors fighting off smaller demons.

"Agreed. I shall call them."

Balfar sent a message to the leader of the inquisitors.

"Inquisitor. If you would like to escape this place alive, I suggest you join myself and Kain. We are over near the remaining big demon."

Kain tried to slow down the demon's assualt with a slow spell, trying to grant them time to flee.

Daniella cursed the brightblade.

Why didn't you let me go to him!
You must stay alive.
If Kain dies, so do I!

Listen to me girl, Kain is quite capable of taking care of himself! You are not. I do wonder about Kain's love being well placed....in such a foolish girl. The Brightblade said bluntly.

Daniella bit her lower lip, frustrated.

You keep him in his own hell. Let me go if you don't want us together!

Oh but I do want you together, that way all ends meet and all of our destiny runs most favourably. Well, for me at least.

I think you should go to hell. Kain and I love each other, not you.

If only I could Daniella. This is the only reason I protect you. Kain had aided me greatly, he is honorable. have your love, as long as I recieve my freedom which I have not had for 1232 years, 23 days and 38 seconds.

The lady stood there, swallowed up in her own mind. She stood naively there, looking at the ground. Something plagued her thoughts and she consummed herself in them; unrealized by those around her for her extreme silence and nonactivity.

So I am not honorable? Just because I haven't made a promise to you? Kain will live. If it means me dying, he will live.

Perhaps you are. But I do not care. I do not care as long as Kain survives, and that he shall. And if you have to die, I do not know what that would do to Kain, but he would release me in either event. But I do not like to take such a risk, not after all I have done. Have him, I care not. I must admit this has been a rather boring conversation, in comparison. Still, Kain thinks unlike most of you beings. He thinks...almost like a demon in some ways. Logical, critical. Well...apart from when it comes to you that it.

What is that supposed to mean? Daniella asked, angered. Why does Kain trust you? I do not feel your power.

Ceran flew back to the inquisitors and yelled"Go goddamnit go"to them as he used his power to create a shield of power he held his hand out in the direction of the massive demonas and let out a blast of pure energy at them when it impacted it left a massive crater in the ground the area saturated with dark energy the ground slowly corroding causing the crater to expand huge fissures followed.

Balfar looked over to see the lost looking inquisitors fighting off smaller demons.

"Agreed. I shall call them."

Balfar sent a message to the leader of the inquisitors.

"Inquisitor. If you would like to escape this place alive, I suggest you join myself and Kain. We are over near the remaining big demon."


Biagio cursed. "Keep back!" He shouts to Balfar. "Men, do we have enough energy for two more spells?"

They all nod affirmative. "Then... Verily, though I doth walk in the shadow of the valley of the dead, I shall know no fear. The lord is my shepherd, he comforts me. The lord is my shield, he protects me... The lord is my sword, who can stand against him?" A massive energy blast fired from all of the Inquisitors, towards the giant demon.

They then faded out of view.

Balfar watched as the large demon attempted to escape the holy blast. Unfortunately for the demon, Kain's slow spell had limited the creature's already poor agility to that of a snail.

The blast took the monster in it's exposed back, burning directly through the being. The beast screamed in agony as the holy energy cooked it alive. Finally it fell. Heading directly for Kain and Balfar.

The demons continued to pour out of the many portals. They now numbered within the thousands. Too many for anyone to defeat.

OOC: The inquisitors should make their way over to Balfar's portal.

A ghostly whisper came from the air by Balfar. "Okay, witch. Get us out of here."

Balfar was not in the mood for naive predjudice.

"Shutup. If you're going to be like that then I'll leave you to play with the demons."

He indicated the huge army of demons gathering in the distance.

Kain looked at Daniella. He smiled, the battle was almost over, they would escape.

Of course girl you do not feel my power truelly. You do not have the full right to use me. Kain does, and Kain trusts me because I cannot break my word, nor would I. I have no reason to betray Kain, he has kept his part of the bargin, I will keep mine. Such a rare understanding between us is rare, girl, we are much alike he and I. Yet so different. You could not possibly understand, I doubt Kain could explain.

Daniella smiled at Kain. Soon, they would be free.

Balfar called out to Kain.

"Now would be a good time to leave. We have many demons about to catch up with us and Izual is not going too good. The inquisitors have ever so politely asked if they could use the portal."

A tone of sarcasm could be clealy heard in his last sentence.

Lord Arithon watched as the demon he sent to forge world filled the desolate landscape. It would be completely impossible for the traitors and others to defeat so many demon.

Mephisto! What are you doing to prevent the escape of the traitors?

"We resent that." Biagio appeared out of nowhere. "Without us, you would still be trying to destroy that demon. Maxwell, get out your rocket launcher. Try to destroy that pavilon over there."

He pointed to where the Black Sword of the Unnamed Evil was being reforged. Maxwell lined it up and fired a silver, blessed missile towards the target...

Not bothering to watch if it hit or not, Biagio stepped up and rammed his mailed finger into Balfar's chest. "You owe us. We came here to save you, and you are hardly helping your case by insulting us."

Balfar was knocked back by the blow. He retaliated by swinging his staff into the side of Biagio's head. He stumbled out of reach to recover and avoid further conflict.

"Now is not the time. To save me? Unlikely. Anyway, if it wasn't for me, you would be sitting around getting munched on by those demons instead of leaving. Now can we forget the spite and leave?"

As the rocket soared towards the Black Sword a barrier of extreme dark energy sprang to life. Lord Arithon had placed some of the strongest protections around the pedestal to avoid situations such as this.

The rocket collided with the dark shield and detonated. The barrier continued to stand, unaffected by the blast.

OOC: DFD is up to something, let's wait to escape.

"You owe us. We came here to save you, and you are hardly helping your case by insulting us."

"As you owe me, we are equal. I saved you within that temple. THis will continue later! Come on Daniella!" Kain shouted over the explosions. He exited swiftly through the portal after Daniella did.

"To stop me from being free is to defy Kain. As I said you cannot comprehend the understanding between us. I will be free girl, I do not care about you. I care a little for Kain, he has been extremely useful. Freewill is an illusion."

Just before entering the portal, Daniella thrust the brightblade into Kain's hands.

"Please ... I don't ever want to touch that thing again!"

Kain nodded and understood. They both leapt in.

Sorry, I have been away for so long. I get pretty busy sometimes.

The snapped out of her stupor of petty thoughts. She looked about to see Daneilla and Kain leap through a portal.

Quickly she ran toward toward the portal, set on reaching her target. She stopped outside the portal, only for a moment. She looked around her, an innocent smile filling her face.

"Adieu," she sweetly whispered as she stepped into the portal after Kain and Daneilla, waving kindly to those still there. Her mind was set on something; determined to follow Daneilla and Kain.

Balfar looked over towards the inquisitors.

"Go through the portal if you don't want to be incinerated."

Balfar dodged several flaming talons as he stepped towards the portal. Many demon were now within projectile range and were attempting to scure Balfar.

A quick flick of the staff erected a small shield around Balfar as he picked up Izual and made his way toward the portal. Although only seconds passed, it seemed like hours to Balfar as he sprinted towards the glowing gate between worlds.

Finally he made it. Within seconds he was back in the grove in Daniella Shentavo, with the mangled body of Izual in his hands.

OOC: No one do anything significant. Once the inquisitors are through I have a few plans......

The Inquisitors carefully walk through the portal. Once on the other side... "We thank you, witch. Sadly..." They all turn around and face Balfar. "This is where you join your companion..." Their hands glow. "In the name of the father, and the son... and the holy ghost. We summon the powers of light..."

Ceran created another portal as he sensed the others create one he went through and apperared outside of the grove about 300 metres away.

Daniella saw the inquisitors aim their spells. She hurridly (is this a word?) ran in front of him.

"Stop!"

Balfar raised his staff, summoning a surge of power.

"Now is not the time. Let me deal with Izal."

Balfar looked over to the still from of Izual, lying next to the shrinking portal. The portal stopped. This caught Balfar's eye and upon closer examination he could see demonic figures on the other side.

"This isn't good. The demons are attempting to pass into this world."

Balfar attempted close the portal, but the demonic energies on the other side were keeping the gateway open. Balfar was at a loss. He had no idea how he could stop the thousands of demons from passing through the portal.

Without any warning, a golden beam of light arced out of the sky and directly into the portal. Immediately the portal began to decrease in size. Balfar was puzzled as to what was causing this, but he was relieved to see the portal finally closed.

Back to the matter at hand, Balfar rushed o Izual's side. Blood continued to gush out of the gaping wound. Izual was somehow still conscious, but completely out of it.

Balfar didn't notice the golden light move towards the damaged body of Izual until it completely illuminated the body. Balfar looked up but was blinded by white light as two angelic beings descended from the heavens. All in the grove were tempoarily blinded by the arrival of the beings.

OOC: Kain, would you like to take it from here?

"Balance must be restored. You do comprehend what these people will do within thier lives demons? Destiny will be continue as planned. You shall not defy destiny." A voice spoke, it's delicate and wonderous voice spoke, it was a male voice and not of this world.

Two angels, one male and one female, thier faces whre delicate and perfectly sculpted, chistled perfectly. They where calm, as though this was perfectly normal. The male had bright blue oceans for eyes as they ebbed and flowed. The other had sparkling green jewels for eyes, as they twinkled spectactualry.

They both held bright goldern weapons, they seemed to have an aura of peace and healing, one felt more at peace when looking at one, as though it healed the soul. The female had a staff, with a blue cystal at the top. The male had a silver gleaming sword.

Thier perfectly white wings where outstreached in all of thier magnificance, they created clean air as they beat the corrupted air, as they decended. These two where servants of the higher power, the opposite to these forces.

The Inquisitors quickly kneeled. "Ministering ones, we are just about to destroy these creatures of evil."

The lady who appeared on the other side, behind Kain and Daneilla, from the portal looked at the spectacle.

"Light...," she slowly murmured and stood dumbfounded.

Once his eys returned to normal, Balfar stared at the angelic figures.

"Angels? What are you doing here?"

Izual coughed and splattered blood as the life slowly drained out of him. Even Balfar's spells would not hold him for long. Balfar returned his gaze to Izual.

"This one was innocent. He knew not of demonic evils or corruption. He aided in the rescue of Daniella and the death of demons. Why must he die?"

OOC: Kain, do you know my plans for Izual?

The female angel looked towards Izual, with a smile of a parent conforting a child who had an accident.

"Izual..Izual. Your actions have not gone unoticed....You are being given a gift, if you so chose to accept it. You immortality, a new form. A new purpose." The angel said, coming over to Izual. She smiled and made Izual understand in a breif second of what she meant. Of what new purpose he would have within the opposite side.

"Get out of here...leave," screamed the silent lady from seemingly nowhere.

She sheilded her eyes and sulked back away from the light. She hastely moved backwards, stumbling some.

She screamed a loud ear piercing shrill. "Never. You hear me....never," she cried out, speaking as if they knew exactly what she was talking about.

Turning away quickly, she went to run to find a darkness, somewhere to hide, somewhere to retreat.

Ceran walked up to the grove and asked"What is your purpose here angels"in a cursive tone

"Our purpose is to restore balance. Demons cannot enter the world. The equilibrum will inevitably swing sides, but not at this point. Our purpose are two. One to get you beings safetly out of here. And secondly....Izual."

"Izual is a demon, and must be destroyed." Biagio says angrily.

Lady... come to the shadows, lady... A soft, crooning voice could be heard by the Lady, but no-one else. Return to the darkness... the light is too bright for you...

Daniella followed the lady, hopeing that she could do good while the angels spoke with the importaint ones.

"I don't know your name, but let me help you." She told her.

Izual opened his eyes to see the angelic figures looking down at him. After several minutes of gathering his remaing strength, he spoke.

"I.... would....be.... honoured....and extremely...... grateful."

Izual could not believe that he would finally have a purpose. And to think this purpose was being offered from angels. He vowed to take his new meaning extremely seriously and perfom his role to the best of his ability.

Balfar stood there, shocked. Finally he spoke.

"This is good news. Thankyou for giving him another chance."

The lady worked quickly toward the darkness. She heard someone talk to her and she turned around, walking backwards toward the light.

"Come again," she spoke, as she covered her face from the light.

Izual could feel the holy energies flowing through his body. He would expect them to burn him, but he felt the powers healing his injuries and making him stronger. He couldn't explain what was happening, he was changing. After several minutes he arose completely healed and with a new appearance.

His dark black hair had taken on a silver/white glow which always appeared to illuminate his face. Izual's face was still pale, but it had a kind and good look to it. His eyes had changed from crimson red to a golden yellow. His strong muscular figure had not changed but his overal appearance was clearly less demonic. Izual had changed indeed, and this was only his human form.

Izual approached the angels.

"I thank you for saving my life and giving me purpose. I shall fulfill my purpose to the best of my ability. You have my everlasting gratitude."

Izual's voice had also changed. Instead of being a dark, low rumble, it was a calm, angelic pitch. Still obviously male, but something beyond a normal human.

Balfar stood there in amazement.

"I can't recall this ever happening before."

"I want to help you. You helped Kain from saving me. Please, don't go back to the dark. We can and will save you, if you let us."

The lady stopped, still shielding her eyes. She did not see whom spoke to her, for she winced her eyes against the bright light, but she did hear the voice.

She tried to locate this person, but she could not for the light prevented her.

"The darkness is the only place I ever knew. I am not fit for the light. I was not good enough for the light for a very long time."

Daniella reached out and touched the girl on the arm lightly, like a friend comforting a friend.

"I am not worthy, either. But here I stand. Come, and together we will beat the evil and darkness."

The lady saw someone in front of her. She looked into their eyes, they were compassionate and comforting. She looked at this person and saw that it was a girl, the girl whom the demons captured.

She looked at her. "How can you be sure that those of the light will accept me?"

She mumbled, "When they were the ones who dispelled me in the first place..."

Daniella hugged her.

"Then I will be exiled wit you, my friend."

The lady hugged her back. This was the first time that someone showed this type of compassion. All her life she had been alone and in the darkness.

A tear fell from the lady's eye and she fell onto her knees and held her head in her hands.

"But...you should not exile yourself because of me," she spoke through the tears. She looked up, tears streaked down her face and looked at the angels. Once again, she covered her eyes. A tear fell before her on the ground.

"Think nothing of it, only place this gratitue in your work for Him, and you shall repay him for his kindness." the male angel siad to him, and smiled.

(OOC Where are we still? In hell? On earth? I kind of lost it somewhere...)

OOC: We are in the grove in Daniella's nation.

IC: Izual returned the smile, his vampiric fangs gone.

"That I shall do."

Christoniac, we should get around to Balfar and Ceran finding that artifact.

Kain looked at Daniella and smiled that they both had gotten out of this. He was glad that the Brightblade had not done too many things. Or had it?

Daniella...what did the Brightblade say to you? Kain asked.

Kain looked at the angels. So his is what Rave was like. No....they where not a perfect or unique somehow. He looked at them still, at thier radiant goldern auras.

(OOC I have no idea hwere this rp could go now, Kain should be going to Velmora soon. I am trying to back out of all threads so I can consentrate upon my major thread.)

I have a feeling this rp is at an end, unless someone else has any plans. The only thing I have intended is to locate that artifact Ceran and Balfar are looking for and do a scene with Arithon being very pissed off.

"Indeed it is. I look forward to the future."

"Strange all of this...." Kain said to the Balfar and Izual.

The agenls faded, thier smiles beaming.

Balfar grinned.

"Indeed it is, there's always a surprise. So, where are you off to now?"

Balfar looked around the peaceful forest grove.

"Where is Ceran? We still have to find a magical artifact."

"Velmora. I have a few old memories to deal with in my homeland." Kain said, thinkning how to do it.

Balfar extended his hand.

"Good luck with that. Perhaps we will meet again."

OOC: It wasn't that bad. It only needed to be brief anyway.

I'm going to bed. Cya.

"Indeed. Fare thee well" Kain said and began to prepare for the journy ahead.

The lady smiled at Daneilla. The light faded away and she regained her strength.

However, she did not leave as she would normally have. This girl, was kind to her. She made a resolved that she never had attempted to make before...partnership.

"Daniella," she spoke softly and quietly. "I thank you. The light is gone now. My services will be open to you. If you ever need something, I will help you. For you saw something in myself that I could not. For that....I thank you. Your kindness will be rewarded. If you need me call," she finished.

Her smiled sweetly at this person. A friend....she had never had one before, but could Daniella be one. She had heard the term before, but she had never experienced it. She was feeling alot of feeling that she had never felt before.

"And I will come when you call, any time. I ask one thing. You are a person, and as a person, you must have a name. What is your name?"

This explains the new nation.

OOC: Might I ask, what the hell is going on?

OOC: A brief catch up.

Kain, Daniella, Balfar, Izual, The Lady and the Inquisitors all went through Balfar's portal. This took them back to the grove in the forest. (they were there in the beginning.)

Demons attempted to follow through the portal but 2 angels came down and closed it. The angels also healed Izual and transformed him into a angel/demon that works for heaven. His purpose is to destroy evil doers. (mostly demons. Occassional human.)

The inquisitors are rather pissed off that a demon was given a chance by the angels. The angels leave and Balfar, Izual and Kain are all good.

The lady wandered off when the angels appeared. Daniella followed her. They are having a friendly chat and becoming good mates.

Ceran is somewhere, not far from the grove. Balfar is looking for Ceran so they can go and find an artifact together.

The lady looked at her inquiring.

"A name.....I have no such," she spoke softly smiling as if it were normal.

"I think you should have a name. To set you apart from the others. You are special. Not every female would have helped Kain rescue a damned soul like mine."

"A name then.....you pick," she said still smiling. "I had to help, although I did not do much. You are different from the rest of those I have met. You care and you could teach others to care," she said crushing the grass with her foot.

Daniella looked the lady over. She was strikingly beautiful, but seemed haunted by the light.

"You seem like an Eve to me."

"Eve," she said in a pleasant tone. "I like it. Then I will be Eve. Thank you," she smiled once again.

"So, I now have a name. What do I do with it?"

Daniella offered her hand.

"Come with me and Kain. We will find a place and an existance for you. You are no mistake, Eve."

Mephisto snarled and appeared in the grove. "I'm sorry, Eve. But... you made a deal, didn't you? A deal, so to speak, with the devil."

OOC: In fact, she made two, but...

IC: The Inquisitors move to destroy the others, but Biagio shakes his head. "Let's go." They file away, defeated.

Balfar and Izual watched as the inquisitors left. Balfar spoke after a short silence.

"Well..... hopefully that will work out. It's good to see you well my friend. Now where is that damn avatar Ceran? And where did Daniella and the lady go?"

Izual shrugged.

"I do not know. The lady left when the angels arrived."

OOC: Hey Christoniac!!!!!! Are you still rp'ing?!

Daniella saw the ugly beast again. She moved to stand in front of Eve.

"You have no grounds here!" She yelled

Izual, help me. Mephisto is going to hurt me and the Lady Eve. Come, and bring Kain! Daniella sent the message urgently.

She smiled at Daniella, accepting the invitation to join her and Kain.

However, her smile vanished quickly when Mephisto appeared. She watched Daniella move in front of here.

"Oh no," she murmured.

Sensing the Lady Eve, Daniella grabbed her wrist and pulled her away.

"Balfar come we need the artefact"Ceran said before he flew of appearing at the cave in seconds.

He walked in kicking a barely breathing daemonic beast as he went into the dimensional hub he picked up the book and began the ritual waiting for Balfar.

She smiled at Daniella, accepting the invitation to join her and Kain.

However, her smile vanished quickly when Mephisto appeared. She watched Daniella move in front of here.

"Oh no," she murmured.

Izual nodded as Balfar disappeared in a flash of energy.

After a few minutes of searching the area, he noticed Kain running towards some figures. He also sensed great evil ahead.

Izual's tread left no footprints as his angelic figure passed through the shrub, towards Kain and the others.

Balfar appeared in front of the familiar entrance. After erecting another shield of protection he passed through the entrance and quickly made his way to the location of the artifact.

"I'm here. What's the rush?"

OOC: You like doing things quickly don't you......

The toxic fire hit Daniella, burning through her cloting and touching her skin. She screamed with pain, and dropped to her knees, gasping for air. It was like nothing she had experienced before. The ground around her began to fade into white ...

"NO," she screamed loudly as she fell to the ground next to Daneilla. She placed her hand on her, she could sense that Daneilla was losing consciousness.

"But, you were the only one...why...you risked your health for me, but why," she frantically asked, although aware that Daneilla may have not heard her.

She continued to kneel beside her newly founded friend. She could not leave her, not here, not like this. Mephisto approached, but she continued to kneel.

"Why," she kept on asking, anger building up inside her.

Kain filled with utter rage at this sight, and saw the newly named woman Eve go over to her. Kain charged towards the demon...the Brightblade raised, he roared, his Cloak went a pure black.

He charged forward, his sword coming down to crash upon him.

(OOC Bear in mind, Kain might not be that pwoerful, the sword is. Obviously he would be able to stop the damage, but he would have a little trouble. The demon is rather powerful, but due to its owner and it's entrapment its power is less.

Daniella forced herself into a state of unconciousness. She had little strength left.

Kain, I will heal. Calm yourself. she said. But I may never be the same. I may ... She choked on the words. Her energy was gone.

Tears ran from Eve's eyes.

"I am sorry," she called. "This is because of me."

She stood up and angerily glared at Mephisto.

"You had no right hurting her to get to me."

She moved closer summoning her power. Her dark aura grew great.

Izual looked on as Daniella fell. He felt he should intervene, as it was now his purpose to oppose the forces of evil.

Izual glided over to Daniella's limp body, ignoring Mephisto. After assessing the damage he placed a slender but muscled hand over her head. A bright glow of golden light erupted around his hand and spread around Daniella's limp body.

Within minutes she was completely healed. Physically at least, she was still slipping into unconsciousness.
