Izual wandered through one of the many dark forests of Daniella Shentavo. It had been many years since the incident in Freiburg, Lavenrunz. Izual had been the only survinving demon. Over the years he had grown in this human world, but he was not like other demons. This world had influenced his mind. With the conscience of a human, he only fed on evil doers and other demons.

Wandering through the forest aimlessly, attempting to work out who he was and what his purpose was, Izual could sense supernatural beings near by. Perhaps a meal.

Balfar gently touched down on the soft ground of Daniella Shentavo. He looked around the open, grassy fields.

It must be here somewhere.

He also began to wander around the land, but he had a purpose. He was searching for an ancient artifact.

Cardinal Richelieu looked at the papers speculatively. "Are you positive you saw #51?"

"Yes, m'lord." Inquisitor Captain Devan said.

"He's active... we must reactivate his file. And he stood in the way of your destruction of #01?"

"Yes, m'lord."

"Then we will reactivate Daniella's file. Now, more news. Something is happening in Danya. You must go there with a squadron immediately."

Balfar had been searching for this artifact for many years. It contained much magical knowledge and being a mage, this was of great interest to him. He only hoped those that were hunting him would not get in his way.

Lord Arithon looks down on his force of hunter demons.

We have three targets. The vampire Kain and the two rogues Balfar and Izual. All must be destroyed. Be careful of Balfar and Kain for they are magically talented. I imagine Izual would be quite powerful after these many years of feeding on our kind. Now go!

Arithon launched the team of ten hunter demons through the interdimensional barrier and into the human world. To be more specific, Daniella Shentavo.

Ceran looked down from his perch in the face of a cliff he looked down then took to the air to find a better vantage point which when found he flew to the position.
He looked about and something caught his attention;something moving he established a telepathic link with the creature once he had gotten the information he needed from Balfar; the creatures name was searching for the same thing as him.
The powerful artefact known as"Mi'Rnat Rish'lak"or "Power bringer" it was of great importance to Ceran he had to make sure it was presented to the "Chosen."

Balfar sensed the presence of the other being.

You. You were there...... when Nez'gah was banished. Searching as well I see. Would you care to join me?

Balfar left the ground and floated up, towards Ceran.

Izual continued to wander with the burden of his thoughts. He was not accepted by humans or demons. He was an outcast. He could sense this supernatural being growing closer, but it wasn't a demon from hell.

Kain was traveling...it was what he did. A wanderer with no roots anymore, no home. But many responcibiltys. It was upon one day, that he was roaming, that Cloak, his magical creation which he wore spoke to him.

It would seem the Inquisitors have taken interest in us again Kain
Let them come and hunt the dead man, do they not owe me enough?
Apparently not.

Kain with this new found infomation thought it wise that he should assess where he was better. He took a moment to pull out a map which he had summoned. He had a map for almost every area, the usefulness of the spell was immense.

He looked on this map, the paper was brand new, the ink was fresh. It said "Area of Daniella Shentavo". Kain looked around for key points. He was currently in a forest...they would have more trouble locating me then, Kain planned.

He put the map back in it's place on his person and started walking again, heading through the evergreen forests, looking for a certain thing...a person.

Izual could now hear the treading of another being. At the present moment he was not concerned. He was still lost in his thoughts of purpose and identity. He had just fed off a large animal and was not feeling hungry enough to investigate this being as a food source.

Izual prefered to stay in his human form but occassionly he would transform into a demon when need be. He located a peaceful grove, where he lay against a large oak.

Looking at the world around him, Izual could not determine his place in it. Perhaps he didn't belong in this world? But he knew he was not welcome in the demon realm. There must be somewhere he can fit in. His train of thought was suddenly disrupted by a figure standing at the edge of the grove.

Kain walked, his mind thinking about his own past. About the inquistors....

It was strange...there where no brids that sang...no squirrels which ran around. Kain normally did not have this effect on the nature....there was a deathly silence over the place....Kain became more cautious..but he continued on, scanning around him.

Ceran looked at Balfar as he floated up and said"I know what you're looking for it is the same thing as i am looking for if you wish to possess it you must prove yourself to me and yes i was thier when Nez'Gah was banished to hell"
He said as he floated beside him "I know the location off the artefact and who is looking for you"

"Hmmm. You seem to know a lot. I do not wish to possess it. Merely learn the knowledge it contains. I expect those that follow me would not be friendly towards you either. I think we would both benefit from our cooperation. What say you?"

Izual continued to brood as what he thought to be a humanoid being was merely some sort of large forest creature. It was then that he noticed what filled the grove.

The grove was packed with birds, squirrels and many other forest animals and they were all chirping or making their own kind of friendly noises. This puzzled Izual but he continued to watch as the animals drew closer.

Kain continued on, his cloak green in reflection of Kains mood....combined with Kain's natural green skin, it did help his camoflage a bit.

The chirping noises the animals were making was getting louder. It could be heard all around this area of the forest. The volume was getting to a point where Izual presumed that all the animals of the forest were surrounding this grove. He still wasn't quite sure what to do but the noise was starting to anoy him.

The ten demons fell out of the sky and landed in the middle of a large lake. After swimming to the shore, they began their hunt of Balfar, Izual and Kain.

You felt that? I certainly did Kain.

Yes I did. Means trouble regardless.

Kain felt the tremors of demons around....somewhere. Kain drew the Brightblade as it rang it song through the air, one of despair. Kain cloak turned lighting blue in anticipation, as he held the Brightblade in two hand looking around for the enemy. He was slowly walking through the woods, weapon drawn.

The chirping of the animals ceased as the sound of the brightblade was heard. Izual stood up.

I know that..... sound.

Izual made his toward the source of the sound, he stayed in his human form as he did not want to provoke trouble. He followed the sound until he was meters away from the creature.

The demons could sense that Kain and Izual were nearby. They charged toward a nearby forest, bloodlust taking over them.

Kain closed his eyes and chanted, as he brought the Brightblade in a circle on the floor. Once the circle was closed, it became a light blue colour, granting some protection from the demons. It would not repel them fully, but it would cause some pain if they tried to pass through it. Kain stood thier waiting...noticing another presance to his right....an odd one.

Izual was busy examining the strange blue light when the demons arrived. Two of them leapt at the blue light and were repelled by the pain of contact. Another tackled Izual to the ground and began tearing at his chest.

Izual exploded with rage, flinging the demon off his body. He quickly transformed, then leaped onto the nearest hunter. He wedged one of his long talons into the struggled creature before he began to feed on it, sucking its strength into his own.

The other nine demons surrounded Kain, spitting their vilve saliva at him.

"You obviously...do not know...who you are frelling with!"" Kain roared as the first one launched itself towards Kain, as the blue light repeled it, followed by a thrust of the Brightblade into it's arm.

Another one launched itself, Kain sidestepped, remaining in the circle and stabbing for the creature's neck, the Brightblade roaring. The blade entered the demon, but Kain could not tell if it was a fatal wound, it was being hit by the blue light. it fell backwards, and regrouped with it's own kind.

In this moment, Kain saw the other person...but had no time to reflect upon it as the demons spat at him. In responce Kain strengthened the circle as a wall of blue energy came around him. Kain chanted...his words filled with the icy voice of a hermit, deep and solemn. After short seconds, Kain snet his won icy shards towards the demons, there where about 40 coming from the wall at the demons.

Kain's circle was begining to be breached...he had to finish this. The circle was protecting him, he doubted he could take on this number of demons, they where different.

Three demons were taken out by the unexpected ice shards. They lay lifeless on the ground, impaled. Another lay nearby also dead, with a large chunk of it's neck missing.

Izual noticed the remaining five demons circling the unknown figure. As one of the demons leaped at him from behind, Izual unleashed am arc of demonic lightning into the creature, cooking its insides almost instantaneously. He prepared to fight off the next demon that came near him.

Kain saw the oppertunity. He did not know who this new person was...but he certainly was helping.

Kain leaped out sword flashing, blue flame coming from the wall, it did not touch Kain, it just made Kain's flesh absorb his own magic, His green skin turning blue for a few seconds.

Outside of the circle, kain anaylised his oppenants. He had to be careful...Kain was tough...but he was not the best. Any moment he could fail, and get killed.

He had his sword locked in his cloven hands, ready to strike. The three demons where against him, one more had turned against the other person.

Standing there, he did something unusual. He had strange movements about him, complete confidance was his. He walked forward as a one of the demons launched himself onto him. Kain outstreached his sword, the demon was impaled as it screamed. Kain fell to the floor, the combined effort of the demon, it's weight and the momentum of the charge falling onto Kain.

Lying on his back, with the demon trying to kill him, Kain still had the Brightblade lodged into the demon, it was burning it from the inside. But the demon was about to shread Kain...he had to act fast.

Kain did. He seized the intitive, and roared and bit into the demon's throat deep, and so hard so the atatck that part of the demon's spine was ripped out, along with it's voice box. Kain swiftly spat it out...and blood gushed from the wound, the demon going limp.

The offer was too tempting..the blood was too precious. Kain gourged himself upon the blood, as it granted him new strength. It was far more powerful than normal blood, this offered immense power.

Bellowing, kain threw the body off of him, and leaped up again, narrowly avoiding the downward thrust of a claw into his throat when he was on the floor. The Brightblade was still lodged in the demon....Kain only had his claws.

The two demons circled Kain...

"I agree"Said Ceran as he felt the hunters entering this world "Shall we pay the daemons a visit?"As he grew rows of spikes on his arms and his skin changed from a human colour to a greyish colour and his eyes turned a fierce red when he moved a trail of light trailed his eyes.

Ceran the began to summon magical power the sky turning from a sunny day to a dark stormy day helping him camouflage as his eyes changed colour as he summoned dark powers and his sword appeared on his back.

He let lightning strike him and the cliff faces starting rockslides infuriating him more.

"I think we shall."

Balfar called a sword of his own to his hand. The blade was composed of a bright blue crystal with violet lightning eminating from it. Balfar's eyes glowed a crimson red as he summoned his own power.

He looked in the general direction of the demons.

"Let's go."

Izual had the demon in his clawed hands. He was digging deep into the demon as it scratched his arms. With bone crunching strength Izual crushed the windpipe of the demon, leaving it gasping for air on the ground.

He moved toward the last two demons. Preparing to launch another spell at the closest one.

Kain charged forward towards the first demon, claws outstreached, his fury was fed by the new demons blood flowing through his viens.

The demon charged towards Kain too, the two where seconds away from colliding. Kain did an action which he learned in the Shentavo Acadamy, and immediately stopped and backflipped. In the middle of the backflip, he had his cloven feet outstreached to grip his prey.

The demon saw this, but could not stop in time. He felt Kain's tlaons grip into his skin as he was carreid with kain, by it's own momentum and Kan's backflip.

The demon was carried along, following Kains feet. Once the backflip was complete, Kain stood on top of the demon. With a smile, Kain punched downwards into the demon's face. Again, and again and again, feeding off of it, fueling his rage. It was a rather horrifying things to see, this figure smashing again and again into the demon, each punch blood sprayed into the air.

Izual was momentarily awe struck by Kain's fury. Then he noticed the demon with it's teeth sunk into his leg. Izual roared as he brang down a chop to the neck so powerful that it broke the demons spine. He kicked the corpse away and decided not to disturb Kain as he delt with the last demon.

Izual returned to his human form.

Kain kept on punching, his body was becoming covered with the beast's blood. It was dead, Kain knew that. But the pent up rage for his previous actions all bottled up came out. Slowly, he began to stop and on his knees looked at his hands covered with blood. He sniffed and got up slowly, going over to the other demon, kicking him over to reclaim his sword.

Kain looked over to the person, his mind becoming less clouded to the rage. His face has streakes of red going down it, there where few places which did not have the deep red blood upon it, Kain's footprints where bathed in blood.

"You are you?" Kain said harsly, his anger still not subsided, he was recovering from the battle rage, his breathing deep and harsh, his chest movng up and down, the cloak a deep crimson, slowly turning a lighter red. The Birghtblade was in kain's hand, pointed towards the floor, the skull hilt's eyes where still alive, but they where just observing.

Izual looked at the blood covered figure.

"I am Izual. It seems they hunt you as well as me. What did you do to cause the ire of Lord Arithon?"

" Give me a moment...." Kain said in a gruff voice as he sat down upon a rock, settling down. He said a few words as he pulled out a vial, as the blood was sent into it. It would be useful alter on. Kain was now completely clean...the blood gone, and Kain's fury gone.

"Lord Arithon..I prevented some of his forces coming into this world...I quelled some of the demon legions. It would appear he is most displeased with my actions within this world, demons do not tend to forget easily. What causes the efforts of the demon hoardes against you so...you are unusual....and I have seen many things." Kain said calmly, and rather politely. He had respec twithin his voice, his voice deep.

"I thought I recognised you. You were there when Nez'gah was banished. I was there also, but as a demon of hell. Things have changed now. After that night I never returned to hell. I have spent these last few years wandering this planet, searching for a purpose or an identity. I usually feed off the demons that are sent after me. Since I am unable to kill innocents."

Izual finds a tree and rests his back against it as he seats himself on the ground.

The Lady sits upon a stool inside a shop. Her eyes gleamed with a childish joy as she stared at all the old and diverse artificats. She smiled innocently as she looked around; looking much like a child who is in a candy store.

"Why is it you have brought me here again," she asked, although anyone could plainly tell she was too interested in the items to be paying much attention.

Kain nodded wearily..."Yes..it was I who sent him back...what do you consider yourself as?" Kain asked as he gathered himself

"Well it seems they're dead"He said sarcastically"Now what about the artefact if you wish to study it's power you may study all of the spells but one...or i'll have to kill you!""For the first and last time someone learn't it i had to kill them and absorbed their soul when i done that i gained great power not yet to my full potential but great power nontheless.

"Hmmmm. All I want is knowledge. The artifact is yours to do with as you please. First, I would like to investigate the beings that those demons attacked."

Balfar disappeared in a flash.

"I do not know what to call myself. I do not belong to the human or the demon realm yet I am a part of both."

The violet flash illuminated the area as Balfar appeared.

"I may be able to help you with that. You my friend, are a new breed. Like I was once."

Ceran after seeing Balfar disappear disappeared himself appearing infront of kain and saying "YOU"

Balfar looked up to see what had grabbed Ceran's attention.

"Ah, Kain. It has been a while since our last meeting."

Balfar casually played with his crystal sword, spinning it around in his hand. As it span, it slowly changed shape until it finally resembled a staff.

Ceran began to mold the energy of his sword to become a staff.

Balfar seemed slightly amused.

"Ceran. I hope you are not planning to start a conflict with the vampire? He is trustworthy and not an enemy of ours."

"I know that he is a trustworthy ally but i missed out on the fun"He mused

"Well. What are you two up to then? Besides the usual fighting off demons that were sent to kill you.?"

Balfar sat on a stump next to Izual.

Izual seemed intrigued by another rogue demon. Or ex-demon to be more precise.

"How is it that you are no longer a demon?"

Balfar's face turns slightly more serious.

"I was engulfed in a sphere of holy power. It happened to kill the demon in me. I was once what you are."

"Not quite. I am....... different from the others."

Kain smiled thinly...is cloak covering one his arms, a faint brown colour.

"I am journeying...I have many things to do...but I have eternity to do so. These events are far more interesting...yet more perilous." Kain said quietly, his tone rather serious as he looked over the others.

Kain was leaning against a pine tree, the brown of the bark the same colour as his cloak.

Daniella followed Kain in stelth. She wasn't supposed to be so near him, but she needed to know what was happening. She had to keep him safe.

OOC: I wasn't brought in to my knowledge, so I'm just jumping in. Correct me if I'm off.

Mephisto looked around his shop. "Ah, Lady. The perfect article." He took a flower from a vase. "Get Kain to smell this, and his heart will become yours."And his soul mine

The Inquisitorial squadron flew in to Danielle Shentavo.

The lady sat there and accepted the flower. She smiled.

"His heart will be mine. How interesting."

She giggled like a child, and grasping the flower as if it were fragile, she stood up.

"I will find him now. Thank you."

She left the shop, walking into the darkness.

Daniella stepped out of the darkness.

"Kain, I must reveal myself." She said. So much had happened to her while she was away (I'm acting as if they had been seperated).

"Ah good evening Daniella"Ceran said smuggly"What have you beeen doing?

The lady walked out of the darkness. She looks around her, clutching the flower, and disguising her aura.

"The nation of Daneilla Shentavo. Interesting."

She looked at the trees as she made her way through the woods. The same childlike amazement still filled her face.

"Yes... it is all falling into place..." Mephisto smiled happily.

The lady walked deeper into the woods, the sounds of a battle taking place began to ring through the air.

"I must be getting close."

She looked amazed at the trees and the shrubs.

"Such a lovely place."

She giggled.

Izual looked up to meet Daniella's eyes.

"Another vampire. Do vampire face the same confusion as I?"

Izual was still in his own little world, worried about his own issues.

Balfar looked over at Izual.

"This is strange. I can sense your difference, but what is it?"

Balfar calmy rested on the tree stump, letting his staff stand on its own.

Mephisto floated in the void.Master, I have sent the lady on the mission.

A giant eye blinked.Very good. You and Arithon must not fail me. This insult shall be avenged.

Lord Arithon roared in fury.

Kain and the traitor are strong. Efforts must be increased.

20 demons of various breeds were launched into the human realm at the location of Daniella Shentavo.

Mephisto appeared in Hell, frightened beyond measure. He stared at Arithon. "It's our essence on the line. You want to try to reason with him?"

I know what is on the line. I am preparing another force to attack. We'll swarm the traitors and meddlers. Then they shall be ours.

"Thank the Dark Lord..." Mephisto smiled. "But remember, we have an agent on the inside..."

I know. All demons have been instructed to pretend to attack the lady but not harm her.

This time the demons landed on the ground. Just to the right of the lake where the last group landed. After several minutes of analyzing the area and wildlife, they began to take the shape of creatures native to Daniella Shentavo.

The group split up, going their seperate ways. Eventually, they would all converge on their targets.

Ceran felt the daemons enter this world he spun around and unleashed a blast of energy destroying trees and the poor daemon it was centered on he then readied himself for battle and charged off in the direction of another when he got there the daemon lunged at him Ceran dodged the attack and grabbed it's neck attempting to find it's purpose but it was being controlled by something else.

Ceran broke the creatures neck and it fell limp to the ground he then morphed into a differnt form and drew his sword and began to stalk his prey.

Ceran dropped from a tree and lunged his sword deep into the beasts neck all his strength focused on this atack the beast died instantly.

Daniella turned to the (Insert here: man, vampire, angel, other)(Izual). "I am unframilliar with you . . ."

ooc: ummmm, Christoniac. The demons were not that close. There shall be plenty of time for you to slaughter them later.

ic: Izual extended his icy cold hand in greeting towards Daniella, a habbit he had picked up from humans.

"I am Izual. I have seen you before...... but you were...... human then."

Balfar interupted.

"Things change my friend. A few years ago I never thought I'd end up a human mage. And I didn't know any demons had survived the banishment of Nez'gah. I would be interested to know..... how strong are your demonic powers?"

"I do not know. I have had nothing else to compare strength to."

Daniella gripped the cold hand in a handshake. She met his eyes, and nodded. She turned back to Kain.

"Care to explain what the hell is going on?"

ooc: might as well leave it for tonight. No one else is on. I'm going to wait for Kain's reply.

Kain looked over at Daniella..well at least this way he could protect her.

"Daniella...how good it is to see you again." Kain said walking over to her.

"I do not understand fully what the situation is..but it would seem my previosu exploits umoungst demon kind has not gone unoticed. They are looking for revenge I believe. You take great risk by coming here...." Kain explained to her.

He looked over to the other. They would provide the majority of a fight should the situation arise. Kain was more concerned about protecting Daniella...she was weak...and so was Kain.

Kain's cloak was green...his face brightened a little when he saw Daniella.

The lady walks toward the sound of fighting. As she approaches the sound, making her way past tall trees and course shrubs, she begins to see figures about.

She giggles as she approaches them. She sees Kain now and holds the flower closely.

She thinks, "He must take it this time. I must make him take it."

She approaches Kain, but does not get too close, remaining close to a large tree.

There is a force working here...a dangerous one....be cautious Kain.

Kain heard the demon speka to him silently, it rarely spoke unless it's interests where involved. But he could see nothing dangerous....no hostiles.

Kain looked at the lady as she got closer...he felt...strange. For those who looked close enough could detect a blueish tinge appearing on Kain's skin...a sign that magic was being absorbed harmlessly.

(OOC Kain will be effected, only if you get really close. He does not know that it is her fault yet...)

The lady smiles and giggles. She moves closer to him.

"Hello, Kain. Have you missed me?"

She held the flower protectively, as she slowly moved closer.

"Missed? What are you talking about...?" Kain said, he did not like this..not at all. He felt a strange feeling of vertigo, a sense of displacement. He took a step backwards, his flesh was glowing a brighter blue, noticible now.

"Stay away..." Kain warned..not entirely sure what was going on, his cloak was turning a strange colour, parts where yellow, some where blue, in a wierd complexion.

She noticed the changing of the colors and giggled. However, she did not cease moving toward him.

"Kain," she said, in a childlike and innocent voice. "Here, I brought this for you. Why, it is a flower. Please take it. I just wanted you to have it. That is all."

She did not cease moving closer to him slowly.

Kain stood there contemplating. Something told me this something was wrong.....yet seomthing said it was right....it was a conflict of interests.

Kain outstreached his hand to take the flor when his arm turned completely blue. Kain swiftly retracted his hand, and gave her a harsh glare.

"I do not know what you are trying to do, but cease now....I do not take well to these deceptions...." Kain growled as he had a slight blue aura around him from the magic.

Daniella put her hand on Kain's shoulder.

"Kain, don't accept it. Something is very wrong about this person."

Tears filled the lady's eyes now.

"But.....all I wanted....was you to have this......why...it smells so pretty and it means so much.....why.....I just wanted to help....."

The lady spoke between silent sobs. A sole tear streaked down her cheek.

"It is because I am different, is it not? You will not take it because I am different from them."

Tears still filled her eyes.

"Please....I can not help it that I am different. I just....just wanted you to have this..."

She holds out the flower in a trembling hand.

Daniella looked the girl dead on in the eyes.

"My lady, I'm going to be frank with you. I don't give a damn about race, gender, looks, or background. That is not my problem with you. My problem is that you have bad intentions. I'm empathic. I can read you like a book."

IC:Ceran morphed into his normal form and began to walk slowly back towards the site he sensed other demons present but he ignored them he walked back to the site ignoring the chirupping of angry birds when he got there he saw a woman holding a flower ut to kain.

The lady looks at Kain. She had heard Daneilla's comment, but shrugged it off. She stopped now, right in front of Kain.

"Kain, you hate me. That is why you will not take my flower. It is because you hate me. Right? I can not help it that I am who I am. I know that I appear evil, but I just want to show you that I could be decent. I could be decent."

The lady still held the flower, tightly, but she held it extended as a gift.

Mephisto smiled happily. "Yes, Kain. Be polite and sniff the flower..."

An imp ran to him. "Lord Mephisto, the Inquisitors are in Little Danya."

"Excellent..."

Captain Deran looked around. "Primitives. Everywhere."

Izual and Balfar looked on silently. Balfar was aware of the lady's leanings back in Roania. He decided to speak up.

"Lady. Last time I checked you were aiding myself and other demons keep the portal open. Where does your alliance lie?"

Izual went back into his deep brooding, ignoring what happened around him.

Several demons noticed the arrival of the inquisitors. One foolish demon leaped onto the back of one as it changed from a bird back into its original form. It fiercely began tearing at the back of the inquisitor's neck.

The Inquisitor screamed. His power shot from him in all directions.

The small demon was blasted away from the inquisitor, landing on the ground nearby in a smouldering heap. Unfortunately for the inquisitor, the demon had ripped out a large portion of his neck as it was blasted off. The blood covering its razor sharp talons.

Then there were nine.

Daniella stood once more, strong and open.

"If you hurt Kain, I swear with every fiver of my being I will hunt you down and return the favor. I suggest you thin about whatever you are planning."

The lady looked now at Belfar.

"I was there. Yes, I remeber that well. However, it appeared that I was unable to provide help to any side. I came for a failed purpose. Now, I am back to fulfill the purpose I first intended on; just to meet Kain, and I have brought him here a gift to show that my intentions are just as they had been before...to meet Kain."

The lady turned back to Kain.

"Why is it you will not trust me. All I wanted to do was give you this flower, that is all. A simple flower, that is all. I wanted to show you that I could be decent and I brought this flower here to give to you because it is sign of mistakes back in Roania. Please take it."

She still held out the flower, sadness filled her voice.

"Cease these deceptions! I can see plain as day that flower is no ordinary flower! Back off! What would it matter if I took it or not? Your purpose here is to give me a damn flower? I Do not give a damn about your precious feelings if it is at the cost of my safety!" Kain spoke loudly in defiance, blue vapor comin from Kain, the magic was still strong.

He stood next to Daniella, his eyes full of caution and distrust to the lady...

The lady looked at him.

"Deceptions, is that what you think this is. Had it all been a deception would I have tried to give it to you before? I tried to give it to you before, but you turned me away. It is no different this time, give the fact that this time, I will not leave so easily."

She continued to hold her arm out, holding the flower.

Again a flare of blue came from Kain...yet something bypassed....

Kain stepped back, holding his head. He certainly felt something...his world span for the breifest of seconds...extreme vertigo and displacement. He opened his eyes again and looked at her, and felt slightly differently....some form of attraction....

No! This is not right! This is a trap! Get away! Kain's minds cried out in portest for this current situation, he closed his eyes and backed off some more.

"Get away!" Kain staggered away slightly, his eysight still as worse as ever, spectres of death flying around killing everyone who was mortal....but it seemed not so bad to her...

Stop it! Kain thought, as he kept on his toes...this was an enemy no matter what her guise...

Daniella looked at Kain with concern. In one swift movement, she took him by the arm and led him a short distance away.

"Sit here."

She walked back to the lady.

"You are hurting Kain. I will not allow that. You have to get through me first."

The lady stepped foreward tenaciously.

"Do not interefer. You are not my concern."

The lady spoke, with no real concern for the others, her focus was on Kain. Tenaciously she pressed foreward, walking around Daniella.

Kain did so..he did not like the feeling of helplessness....but he no choice. His skin dimmed down and returned to it's original green hue.

He looked up, in anaylising the enchaments upon the flower....he could barely see the glimmer of magic...but it was there, deeply hidden and concealed.

Daniella sighed with displeasure.

"Kain, while I was gone, I learned a new trick."

She raised her hands and muttered a few words. The flower flew out of the girl's hands.

The lady turned to her.

"Why is that you must interfere? I mean nothing to you, just a shadow amid the darkness."

"I protect my mentor. He's all I have left."

"How is it that you assume I am here to harm him? Can not a lady give a man a flower?"

"A shadow amid the darkness is still part of the darkness. Amounsgt the other shadows of the night, it seems one of many, powerful. Yet you are alone...a single shdow in the daylight. Leave us, your intentions are clear. I do not know what you where trying to achieve...but if you even try to decieve me, I will kill you. Understood?"

Daniella smiled, and nodded her head towards a field of flowers, almost exactly like the flower, but not quite.

"Give my teacher one of those, if you must give him a flower."

The lady smiled again.

"Then so be it."

The lady walked over to the field of flowers and knelt down in front of them.

Daniella moved over beside Kain.

I don't trust her. It's not jelosy. She told him, using telepathy.

The lady stood there confused. Gazing up she takes notice that Daniella has her flower.

"That is mine," she said to herself. "I want my flower."

She ran up and dove, reaching her hand out toward the flower. Feeling the flower between her hand, she wrapped her hand around and she landed on the ground, falling to her knees from the awkward angle she jumped at.

"I believe this is mine," she scathingly remarked.

I am not here to judge. She might be evil...yet within that evil there are worse. She may turn back to the light....both light and shadow are required in this world, in balance. If I where to kill her, it would only slay the pawn. For all I know, the darkness may have enslaved her. Let her be, may she learn...for her own sakes. If I where to kill her, where do I stop? When do I stop judging? You can see this effect with the inquistors, banishing any "evil" that they see, without remorse or compassion. I do not asih to become like that.

Already done. The enchaments upon that flower are gone..they have already begun to unravel, using it's own complicated structure against it.

Kain whispered a few words which where barely audible, which sent the flower's enchantments spiralling against itself. It was an unorthodox method...it worked. It sent the defence of the enchantment to attack itslef in a manner.

Daniella smiled and put her hand on his arm.

As a result from the incantation, the flower began to shrivel and wither. In doing so, the lady grabbed her chest and began to breathe irratically. She fell to her knees.

Screaming, "What are you doing? Stop this at once."

She dropped the flower and leaned foreward closer to the ground, gasping.

Kain heard her screams and his smile faded. He looked on with concern at her, and looked for a couple of seconds before running over to her.

He ran over to her, looking at her gasping.

"Damn! The flower..." Kain whispered to himself as he watched the flower wither. If he resotred the flower...it would still be able to effect him...yet what would happen if he did nothing.

Kain made a descion to comprise, and restore a fraction of the flowers life and enchantments...so that it was still wilting but not near deaths door. He loked on to see the result, his flesh was glowing a faint blue at this distance.

She knelt there leaned foreward. Tears streaked from her eyes as she continued to grab her chest and gasp.

"Look......what............you...............have.............done."

Tears came down.

"Don't do it kain it's a trick she wants you to restore the flower so she can use it against you"Ceran said in a deep voice moving over to the lady.

Mephisto screamed in rage. "Fool!" He concentrates, using his dark power to capture the Lady and bring her to him. "You will suffer for your failure!"

"I can releace you. You are trapped by the flower, as well. Come with us." She spoke softly, and leaned down, holding out her arm. "We will not harm you."

A bullet whirs past her. "Freeze, Creatures of Darkness!" The 9 Inquisitors had entered the vale.

The Inquisitor strode through the smoke. "MELGIS FLAME!" Black magic skidded around and into Ceran.

Balfar was ready for the blast and merely absorbed it.

"Ah. So you are playing with black magiks now. You are forgetting this though. I have far more knowledge than you ever will."

Balfar launched a web of deep violet light at the inquisitor whilst his aura began to illuminate the forest.

"No... we are beyond that. There is no black and white, there is only good and evil. Magic is but a tool." 4 of the Inquisitors summoned black powers, while the other 5 called forth their most powerful light magic. All nine released it at once.

Balfar was gone. The powers blasting his most recent position. The inquisitors heard him speak before they spotted him next to Kain.

"So you are learning. Very good. But you still don't compare. You have nothing to fear from me though, unless you bother me. I have no intention of being hostile towards you. Somehow..... this does not seem like a little chat with #57."

Let me put it this way. Mephisto is #3 on the demonic ranking, a post he shares with Arithon.

They both report directly to Satan, though Arithon is busy running hell.

As such, they have a great deal more power than all but the most powerful Seraphim, and they can easily defeat the avatar of a dead god.

The imp bowed and took the child away. "Well, Daniella, looks like you are in a difficult situation. A cat for a hat, and a hat for a cat, but nothing for nothing. What do you have to offer me now?"

Daniella looked him dead in the eyes.

“The knowledge that I just saved that girl’s life, and I would gladly give my own life to save another, while you live on putting people through pain. I stopped her suffering. If I become so weak that Kain doesn’t recognize me, all the better for it!”

Balfar heard Ceran's message. He then looked around the group.

"Well everyone. It seems I have other matters to attend to. I shall be leaving you now."

Before Balfar disappeared in a cloud of black smoke he sent a message to Kain.

Please make sure they don't get Izual. He is in the tree above you.

Several forest animals were starting to gather around the inquisitors. They were not noticed as they appeared to be innocent forest creatures.

ic: With lightning speed, the creatures lost their friendly animal forms and were replaced with fierce looking creatures of the underworld.

Several leapt into inquisitors in a fury of talons and fangs whilst the others began chanting spells, a deep crimson circle now appearing around the inqisitors.

Balfar appeared next to Ceran.

"So shall we continue our search?"

"HOLY BLAST!" The 9 Inquisitors shout at once, facing in all directions. They pull out holy water grenades and throw them.

"Bloody squirels."

((Hey, remember, the White Cloaks from WoT and the Inquisitors from Lucretia have very different ideas of what makes people innocent.))

The demons within the circle are badly burnt by the blasts, falling to the ground and squirming in pain. One did manage to sink it's long, venemous fangs into a nearby inquisitor before it was scalded.

The crimson circle sprang to life, a large wall of power springing up and absorbing the other holy blasts. With a deep rumble, the circle began to move inwards, ripping up the ground as it went.

"Let's show these creatures what we can do!"

DARK CONTROL!

The circle began to go in the opposite direction as the Inquisitors siezed the reins.

ABBADON'S ORDERS! A black wave of energy shot from Captain Deran and into the demons.

The demons howled in amusement. They knew far more of demonic magiks than the inquisitors would ever know.

The wall turned jet black and emitted a crimson glow whilst demonic energies sparked around it. The wall continued on its original path, slightly faster this time.

Two demons shrieked in pain as the captain's attack blasted them off their feet.

Ceran said"This way" and took off at blinding speed then teleported infront of a cave

Balfar was left standing alone...... until he also teleported to Ceran's location.

But the Inquisitors were no longer within the circle. They had made use of the fundamental magiks of speed, and they were now surrounding the demons. They winked.

Ger'atanya!

A banishing force shot from them at the foolish creatures.

Balfar was left standing alone...... until he also teleported to Ceran's location.

"I assume there will be some kind of trap or beast gaurding this thing?"

"If you wish i can go in and if you think it is only one of either think again "Ceran said as he walked into the cave nimdly dodging a blow frm a massive beast that leapt out and tackled balfar Ceran than summoned a massive sword and summarily slicedthe beast in half he put the sword away just before another one lunged for him he caught this ones neck and snapped it when he saw hundreds of them in a passage not far from the entrance he then used some of his power to blow them into tiny bits.

You've got to find it from here" he said ushering balfar in and following him.

Daniella didn't know of the shop's integrety, so she tried to contact Kain again.

Kain, I'm safe. Do not come after me.

Mephisto sighed. "I can't have you collapse on me." He snapped his fingers. A goblet of blood appeared inside the cage.

Daniella pushed it away and didn't look at him.

"Daniella, drink it, or I go get that girl and kill her in front of you." Mephisto said impatiently.

Several more demons were killed by the sudden attack from the inquisitors. The remaining demons were not going to take this lightly. Four of them concentrated their own blasts on an inquisitor, his body fell to the ground, already decayed.

Balfar floated towards the entrance of the cave.

"I do not need your protection. I am perfectly capable of handling myself."

Three more beasts leapt at Balfar, only to be incinerated by the wave of blue flames he released.

"Let's go."

"You see, the problem with that is I bought her freedom. That makes you a liar."

Daniella still refused to look at him.

"I won't die. You know perfectly well."

Recovered from the kick to her shin, the lady walked toward Kain once again, the rod tigtly held in her one hand and both hands behind her back.

She knew that he would sense her coming again, so she made no attempt to cover herself or her aura.

She mumbled to herself, "To think that they thought I was there to harm them. All I ever wanted to do was give Kain that flower and they automatically assume that I was there to do something bad. All the flower would have done was make him care and love, but no, I guess that is evil."

She rambled on as she worked her way past demons and closer to Kain. She did not know what this rod would do, but she knew that Mephisto would be angry if she did not touch him with it, and she did not wish to aggrivate Mephisto any more than she already had.

Kain roared at ther as he began to walk past her, murder in his eyes. His cloak turned the deepest black, uttermost rage filling him. He had an aura of fear and terrible power. No-one had ever seen Kain like this before....Kain's features where a vcious warface of a being who's single most sacrifice would be wasted if Daniella died.

I will save you Daniella, do not even think for a second I will accept this crime against you! You are my fledgling, my responcibility! You will not die understand! Do not allow it! Kain spoke to her, utmost zeal in his voice as he approached the lady, drawing his Brightblade.

He draw the sword, it's chilling ring of the metal chilling her....the blade had deep fiery screaming faces within it. He pointed it to her, as Kain walked towards her, forcing the lady to walk backwards or be impaled.

"Dead thing, where have your freinds taken her! I swear, if you do not tell me now, I will not be held responcible for what I will do!" Kain bellowed at her, his eyes fully red and full of rage.

(OOC Where is Daniella and her tormentors? Nearby..or is Kain in the shop? And please wait for my damned responce, I will be online more upon the weekend.)

One of the remaining demons noticed Kain, it decided to forsake the battle with the inquisitors and launched a sphere of demonic energies in his direction.

Kain turned his head and simply stared upon the spehere, spinning and full of promises of a grim death. Kain gave it a grimer look, his face full of anger and stalwalt rage.

The sphere crashed into Kain's skin, Kain's skin flashed blue....the spell was absorbed! It was an amazing feat....Kain knew it would happen, his inner power and the power of the Brightblade aided him. It knew what the demon was....the sword was one too. He was too enraged....he poured his hatred an anguish into the next attack.

The magic coursed along the now pulsating blue skin of Kain, Kain tapped into it and outstreached a hand while still pointing the Brightblade at the Lady.

A one sided glyph formed within Kain's cloven hand glowed blue, ancient writing runes spinning within it. It lingered for a few seconds, spinning drawing power. It beame the size of Kain's outstreached hand before changing it's colour suddenly to black, as Kain's eyes glowed balck for a second, before turning back to red.

He launched it idlely at the demon who attacked him, his hate filled eyes still boring into her, as the Brightblade pushed her away from him as he continued to walk.

The spell Kain just cast was one he did not know....he just did it. It sprang from within....it was though he was possessed. His mind worked in automatic, a beast of which who had one objective. To find and save Daniella.

The glyph was one whcih when it would hit the target, it would form a dark web to which would slowly get tighter, cutting the target upon the magically barbed wire. It is an agonising and slow form of death, it could be used a tortue so much was the mind-numbing pain.

The demon was so surprised at Kain's retaliation that the ball hit it head on. Immediately the demon realised what kind of trouble it was in, as it had just recently performed this spell with the others. The web began to close in, causing the trapped demon to unleash a roar of pure rage/pain. He unleashed a bolt of energy but it flew upwards without a target.

As Izual sat in the tree, observing all that was below him, he noticed the demonic bolt of surging power streaking directly towards him. He dived through the leaves just as the bolt incinerated the branch he had previously occupied. As he fell through the leaves, Izual rolled up into a ball and span until he landed on his feet, directly behind Kain.

"What...... is going on?"

kian did not look at him. He was too absorbed by his own fury. He tightened the web, seeing the demon howl in uttermost rage and horriying pain and it's demon blood flowed unto the floor tantalisingly. Kain did not smile however....he had to find Daniella....and the Lady knew where to find her.

Then Kain remembered Balfar's message, "Please make sure they don't get Izual. He is in the tree above you." Could this be Izual and who the hell was he?

Are you Izual? Why does Balfar want me to protect you? Kain asked him mentally within a split second. He had his attentions upon him at the same time, his mind's eye moving with Izual, observing what was occouring with him. Kain increased his black aura of power, which in places crackled with lighting and energys. kain's eyes remained the deepest blood red.

The lady smiled wickedly at Kain.

"Now now Kain. If you had intended on killing me you would have driven that blade into me right away."

She stepped closer now, regardless of whether he planned to kill her or not.

"I know where your little friend is. I will take you there myself. However, at a price that is."

Daniella felt Kain.

No, damn your pride! I will be alright. If I die, it will be on my shoulders alone.

Kain roared at her, sending a extremely powerful crippling blow upon her mind, which would bring her pain, without even harming her. Kain's black aura flared in responce as Kain's eyes flashed in flame red.

Kain let go of the Brightblade and it flew from his hands going for her midsection sideways. It greated a wide gash into her, not fatal. She fell to the floor as the Brightblade ripped into her, causing great pain as it burnt.

Kain got a cloven fist and picked her up, making locked eye contact with her, lifting her into the air as she bled a little from the wound of the Brightblade. Kain's eyes revealed his anger, his torment, great whirlpools of pain and fury and uncontrolable pain which he would inflict. Kain was a horrifying figure to behold in this state.

"You will tell me before I rench it out of your mind woman! I do not bargin, I will only spare your life if you do tell me, and a great deal of pain. Do not test me again, or I will kill you!" Kain meant every word, his aura growing larger when he shouted at her.

Daniella tried to stand. The dizziness of hunger was comming over her. She needed to feed.

"I have one last request before I go insane." Daniella said slowly. Her head hurt so bad. She couldn't think straight.

Keep alive Daniella! If you die I swear I will go into the next life and bring you back so God help me. Keep focused and do not allow them to win! Do not fail me, do nto fail yourself, do not fail our own desicrated name of Shentavo!

Kain, he wants me to feed off of a little girl. I . . . I can't . . .

Daniella let a tear fall down her cheek.

Kain paused for only a second.

Do not do it. Keep movement low, and close your eyes. Calm yourself and rationise. Conserve your strength and lower you metabolism. Breath deep and remain in an almost comtose state. That way you can last for some time. I will find you in time. They need you alive, they will not let the thirst take you.

Daniella took a deep breath and lay down on the floor. She closed her eyes. Focusing her energy on clearing her head, she contacted Kain again.

Keep talking to me. The pain is too much.

What...what do you want me to say? Kain asked, his voice the only thing Daniella could hear as she shutted down her hearing from the quieter noises. Kain constrentrated on the conversation...the primal part of him fighting, the real Kain talking to Daniella. Kain was never good with words, talking socially. He always was the person who stayed out of the conversation...who taught a moral.

(OOC Trying to make my character more...emotional and realistic.)

Daniella began to feel the cold. She knew what was happening.

I don't know, Kain.

NECRONICOMANIAN Deran shouted, holding his cross for support.

The dead Inquisitor stood back up and drew his blade, hacking and slashing.

"Remember this, demons. To fight the darkness, one must become the darkness. Step into the abyss. Think on that, as you go to hell." The 9 living Inquisitors poured so much light energy into the remaining demons that they lost their physical forms.

"So, Kain comes to save his fledgeling." Mephisto floated idly. "Excellent."

He snapped his fingers. "Ghyriz, bring word to Arithon."

"Yes, Lord Mephisto." The imp ran off.

Ceran followed Balfar in when they reached a passage a trap sprung barely missing Balfars head Ceran said"Be careful"

Balfar grinned.

"Of course....."

As the demons lost their bodies they reached out with their demonic essense, into the nearest inquisitor. He screamed in surprise as his soul was taken by the demons as they returned to hell. The body falls limp on the ground as a silence fills the grove.

Izual stirred at this message.

Yes, I am Izual. I am not sure why Balfar wants me alive. I'm not even sure if I want me alive. But he does not want me to fall into the hands of the inquisitors.

Kain is going after his fledgling? Good. I shall send twenty more demons for Mephisto's use. Guide them to him.

A varied group of large, particularly fierce looking demons stepped out of the flames.

"Keep a lookout, men. Kill everything with more than 2 legs or less than 2 legs."

Izual lay against a tree, awaiting Kain's actions. He tried to look as inconspicuous as possible as he didn't want to attract the attention of the inquisitors.

Ceran overtook Balfar and saidproudly"Here it is" when he said it Balfar looked quite confused at the empty room.

Ceran stepped forward and in the center of the room he disappeared but he could be heard saying"Come Balfar"

Balfar shrugged as he stepped into the empty room, not quite sure what to expect.

Daniella felt the pain comming in.

Yes you are strong enough!. Think of other things, other memories. THink of home, think of your life this and the old. Think of me. Kain told her while he awaited the Ladys reply still holding her up in the air, as her midsetion was torn open by the Brightblade.

Daniella felt her brain sutting down. She couldn't keep the link open for much longer, and she knew Kain was her only way of survival.

Daniela heard the words clearly, and was shocked. Kain loved her? She was too weak to think.

I will try for you . . . was all she could get out, before tings blacked out.

OOC: She's not dead, just out of it. if she doesn't get blood soon, she will be, hough. Such a shame. I need her alive.

(OOC She would not die that fast. In about a day or twoshe would starve. But the detah is extremely painful and agonsing, death like that is possibly one of the worst ways a vampire can die, barring some magical tortures)
