The reason why your paint seems jacked up is that the image is small and is anti-aliased. Paint fills with a tolerance level of zero.

My advantage lies in my population. You take that away, and I have nothing left. I'm a freaking communist state that relies on conscripted infantry. My standing army, even though it is called the Imperial Guard, is inferior to that of any other state. Sure, I'm the largest state there is right now, but clearly you reduced my population out of fear for your own state. Your state has 1.389 billion at time of writing. Mine? 3.05 billion or something like that. It was over double yours, and now you reduce it by a whole billion. Sure, Gibberish America was reduced from 5 billion to some hundred million, which is not exactly the most fair or reasonable but he agreed to it. I would accept a compromise number of 2.519 billion or something similar.

I use stuff that I have in my storefront, since being a large state it would be natural for me to have my own stuff. I also use the Type 5 MBT and the Type 56 Assault Rifle at the NSD, seeing as to how I designed them, but at any rate in general my military has 150 million men total. Most of them, being around 85 million, are logistics, with the remainder divided into the ground force, the naval force, the air force, the special weapons (WMD) force, and the AA force. I'll get into detail later. My military police force has some 190 million people in it, since they are a government run police force.

My monumental army is not like the Soviet pre-WWII army. It's somewhere between the Chinese PLA of the now and the German army of WWII. It's still not the best of militaries. And also, remember that huge numbers matter little, as bombs can kill them.

Exactly, it's a mixture. There are some very well trained divisions, some not so well trained. Think WWII Germans on a PLA scale x75 or so. Besides, Chernobl is immense; just do the Soviet and let the winter kill everybody. My army may be big, and its divisions might be okay, but remember Sun Tzu.

Stok, even your budget couldn't support a highly trained army of that size. that averages about $140,000 per troop and that counts towards ammunition, food, weapons, vehicles, gas, batteries, clothing, etc. and that's assuming you don't pay your troops AND not counting your police force.

Mine military and law budgets I do combine, for mine police and soldiers are quite fine. Look at North Korea for an example.

The average might be the same, but it's not like I pay my soldiers anything. I'm freaking communist. I make my own munitions and supplies, and I pay my people in consumer goods and crap that I force them to make. They just do their thing and get stuff; the never really care about foreign affairs. My country is more "utopian" than the RL USSR ever was, as it spans a large area and has a variety of resources that I could sell without really doing much else.

And to stok: So you're saying people are forced into battle for nothing. They don't get jack from fighting, so what motive would they have to do a good job? The only way you can get highly trained soldiers is if you give them some sort of incentive, even if its nothing more than extra food. But those incentives cost money. and in order for you to have as many as you do, that would cost a LOT of money.

Stoklomolvi does not really have that much "money" in the Western sense of the word. And besides, you're considering everything from purely a Western perspective. Look at the people of China, and you will notice that their nationalism stems from an extremely long history of a powerful China. Stoklomolvi would be much the same. Nationalistic people who fight for their country and get free stuff in return. I mean, come on, how much could you hate a country that gives you free education, health services, police, fire fighting, law, food, clothing, luxuries, transportation, and general consumer goods? Sure, you have to BUY weapons, but weapons aren't generally available for sale anyway. Most people already own guns.

True, but that still doesn't account for all the highly trained. The more training, the more expense you have to put into that training. And even nationalism has its limits. People just won't do everything for nothing.

My government is. Like I said, they produce stuff, if they don't they get punished, and I give everyone what they want. It relies on the people to produce things; if they don't then they don't get what we don't have. I traditionally import extra food from my southern neighbours in South-east Asia and India, but since I have actual farmland I don't have to import as much as I normally would.

well then, if your government is paying for it, that eats into your defense budget, doesn't it? lol. The only way your government could have a chance at having anything like what you're suggestion is if every single citizen is completely unselfish and that just doesn't happen. Plus, the way your describing it shows that your people have no money for themselves, so no taxes for you. And your government controlled businesses, do they make enough to pay for all your expenditures? Unlikely. That's why communism is generally less effective in RL. Capitalism allows for rational-self interest which every human on the planet has. If you get a population much larger than a small town, communism just doesn't work like it is supposed to on paper.

Well, the German men from WWII weren't exactly the most "EPICPWN" of everyone anyway. Look at them fighting Soviets, I mean come on. The USSR was just piling men on top of them, and eventually they were beaten away. They would never have taken the entirety of the USSR.

My version of "crack troops" are just...better than conscripts but still comparable to German troops from WWII. As in the actual troops with WWII guns.

...Do you not realize that if it hadn't been for the russian winter, Germany quite likely WOULD have taken the USSR? They had almost reached Moscow, and if they take the capital, the commie nation collapses cause there's no longer anyone giving out all their free stuff.

Rithian, You're navy is not only preposterous it is impossible. Your little Island nation over there couldn't possible support 80 cruisers and 20 aircraft carriers unless the cruisers were more like patrol boats and the carriers had 1 aircraft each. Your not even counting all the support ships a fleet that size would need. for every one combat ship there are an average of 3 support ships. More for carriers. Why do you think I limited my initial navy to such a small number? Ofcourse, I will increase that number but only for the war. A standing navy the size your talking about is impossible. You have more carriers and cruisers in that fleet then the entire US navy.

He has his Egypt thing, but it would take a long time to get to Japan, not to mention that I've blockaded Korea and am currently moving in to blockade western Japan.

Training? Perhaps. Training doesn't beat experience, which my men are chock full of after fighting the Siberian Natives. Again. Equipment? Hell no. I use the best equipment for my main forces, though civil militia and conscripts use some of my cheaper designs and basic Russian weapons.
