A pistol materialized in Shadow's hand which he then gave to the new soldier following him, it took to the gun without so much as a sound and continued to follow Shadow arounf the room with a blank stare.

"Yet another thing that doesn't surprise me, matter construction technology" Johan said as the pistol appeared in Shadows hand. Nothing really surprised him, ZAFT had similar technology that is used for everything from warships to toothbrushes.

The computer emitted a primeval screech as the machine started hacking the password system.
"Seems like they got a nice system here for such a primative unit. 128 bit roving encryption on the data unless we have a password stuck in? Or the correct algorithm? Which changes everyone 80 milliseconds. Of course, humans with limited brain capacity have to resort to a memorable word. The weakness in the system."

The screen flashed, before displaying a public information film on the hazards of drugs.
"Sorry, that's mine, the computer system doesn't seem to like what I'm doing. Just wait while I do this..."
The screen cut out, before being replaced by a green logo in angular runes.
"No-one here understands level 9 communication pictograms? Didn't think you would. Anyway, I've uploaded a parallel operating system which will take control of the hard disk. I've left a little programme in there as well to crack the algorithm. It'll take a few minutes, so until then we can just relax. Except me, who has to sit here and stop it running any more bloody archive videos I've still got stuck somewhere from the Gha'sola government. I kept them jsut for the humour fo their poor quality, but if you want..."

Speakers hidden in the corners on the large room burst to life as well as in the halls of the office the party had just come from.

The female voice was robotic, without emotion. It was repeated.

The voice returned a few mintues later, but with a different message.

-Self-engagement will commence in five minutes. All personnel need evacuate immediately. Please move in a orderly fashion to the roof for faster-then-light transport. Self-engagement will commence in three minutes. Charging weapon systems now.

"Shit! What did you guys do!" Mr. Unclean moved over to one of the computers, "are you guys insane!" The man shifted his lab coat as he began to type on the computer.

"Now," Mr. Unclean turned to the group, "step away from the computers and tell me what you guys are doing here. You know it's rude to not respond to not tell someone your name after they told you their name." Mr. Unclean chuckled.

Shadow bowed, "I'm sorry for not responding to you earlier. My name is Shadow, I am a Forbidden from the Empire of Greywatch. I am not sure about the rest of this group, but I am hear because I had to... retreive... an object that was very important to me. Said object is no longer, I made sure to transport it away from... this vicinity using... my own... special... abilities." Shadow spoke calmly but made sure to choose the right words to describe his situation. He didn't want to give away everything about him so quickly.

"Yeah, sorry, whatever," said Kartosh, staring upward. "Did anyone else hear what the speakers said? FTL transport, on the roof. We're definitely in a building, above ground, and there might be a few of those transports left! If we can get up there, we might be able to escape."

Skyler shrugged. "Like we said, just dropped in. Unintentionally, but it's a long story, and even if you knew I doubt you'd be able to do anything about it..."

"I have many names. And your AI system is a little bitch. Try programming her with a little less attitude next time please."
It removed its arm from the computer case, a few sparks jumping from its arm.
"I don't think she'll mind living with a hacking programme for a bit. Still..."

It looked about the room, before turning back.

"Mr Unclean? You may refer to me as Thom12. One I was recently called when mistaken for 'property'. Though I think he regretted it..."

"Long story short I crashed here, shot at, tranquilized, mysteriously transported, and attacked by got only knows what" he then turned to what Skyler said "Your right and even if there isn't any on the roof, we can get to fresh air and find out where the hell we are" Johan said before turning to Mr.Unclean "Can you show us to the roof?"

He looked around at the group. How did he get this far. He wasn't ment to be here. But, where would he go after this. He had no family left. He would be alone again. At least here there were people he could interact with. A tear slid down his face. He quickly wiped it away making sure noone saw it.
Come on these some of the toughest men and woman around. And your crying over being alone. A feeling of rage was rising inside him.

"Well even if there is a transporter on the roof, I really doubt it'll help much. Not like we're gonna be telling it where to take us since we don't know where we are nor does it seem like whoever is pulling the strings here is going to be that generous," Shadow spoke in an unfeeling tone. He knew something was wrong, not that things had ever been right, but that FTL travel was far too conveniently placed.

"Some thing does seem out of place though, any one other then me find it strange that we are given such a clear way to get the hell out of here? Something tells me someone or something is waiting for us on the roof, either to greet us or kill us"

"Look. If we stay here, we die. If we head to the roof, we might survive. Let's get going." Terrek started off, looking for stairs or elevators.

"I'll come too," volunteered Kartosh, looking at Skyler. "I'll tell you if we find transport. It's possible that the trip is all a huge trap, but if not, you will need to haul ass up to me." Skyler nodded. "I'll wait down here. In the meantime we'll what happened here."

Mr.O checked his beam weapons, then headed for the elevator. He would not be caught off gaurd. He showed Maximus how to arm his new assault rifle and braced himself for the worst.

He couldn't get the feeling out of his mind.

Stay here and die or go up to the roof and probably die.Well probably is better than "its gonna happen"

He followed the group going to the elevator.

"I'll stay here for the meantime," Shadow said, he didn't know why exactly he was thinking about staying behind but decided it was best for the moment. Typically splitting up would get a team killed, in this case it might help us get some answers faster. Shadow looked over at his soldier that blankly stared back at him. "So, Mr. Unclean, mind giving us an explanation for what's going on and what this place is?"

"I'll join the roof top team, if something is waiting for us we need as many people as we can get to fight it" Johan said walking to catch up with the others as they began to leave the room. He knew something didn't feel right and someone was pulling the strings but he couldn't do anything about it.

OOC: Yeah, I'd say so. No one has posted for a while, Mu has gone to gods-knows-where, and quite frankly I've lost interest.

Yeah the thread is gone. I wish I was able to see everyones' post earlier through. Maybe it could have been saved, but what can you do? I am working on a new FEAR rp, but it is going to be different. I would like to ask if anyone has any suggestions for the next rp or any problems they had with this rp.

I think the main problem was me trying to do too much with this rp. I was aiming for a fun story while making it seem like a game. Next time it's going to be a standard rp with my regular writing style. This means bigger post and you'll be able to OOC'ly learn things you aren't going to learn IC'ly in the rp until later. Also, instead of waiting for everyone to reply and then responding I will just respond to what is already up on the thread. My waiting to respond seems to be the main cause of death. At least some lessons that I can use for future rps has been gained so expect a better rp next time (I hope).

Already did.

Everyone who joined this FEAR rp takes top priority in joining the remake. No exceptions. Even if there is no room left a person who joined this rp can still join regardless of the opinions of others in the new rp. I like the bunch we got here and I hope all of you can join the next one with your current characters (if you want to that is).

Well I suppose I don't need to say "OOC" since this is declared dead. ANyway, yeah, I'll be looking forward to your next RP thread. Just one question: How come no one ever does anything until I say something??
