Elendil Bounced on the balls of his toes, quickly studing his foe. The making a quick decision ran at his foe, then making a quick leap, attempted to smash his knees into his face.

OOC: Meh I'll prolly just wait for you to get back and leave this as a "fight in progess" sort of thing.

Redemption matched his opponant and lunged, this was going to be good.

I picked up his cards. Not really much of a sparrer, had a little training and some practicing on the ship. But I doubted I could win. I layed out the cards for solitare and started playing. I mumbled to myself.
"Five on the six. Jack on the Queen. Three on the...."

OCC: I want to continue the thread for a little while, at least until my Observer can pick up Maximus, he has become one of my races "heroic" charecters so far.

Skyler had blantatly ignored Redemtion as he sat in front of her, and only now did she look up from her datapad to watch him and the other man sparr, a look of bemusement crossing her pale features before she looked back to the screen and continued typing, the tapping of the keys just loud enough to be heard over the grunts of the two sparring.

Mr.O suddenly went rigid. Belkan High Command had found him, and uploaded his memories since the last communication. "Amazing... It is operating like a human unit..." said an Inquisitor thousands of lightyears away. "He seems outgunned, and his company must still be eliminated!" interjected a Militis Grandis, "Can we send re-enforcements? No? What about supplies?" Moments later, a supply pod was delivered to a slipspace portal and shimmered out of reality. It reappeared in front of Mr.O seconds later, and with its arrival, the command ship once again lost contact with their pet project.
The oblong container appeared in front of Mr.O, who had regained control over his body. A DNA scan later, the clasps unsealed, revealing a full refit station. A holographic display showed a Belkan commander, his mirrored faceplate somehow reflecting Mr.O's face. Orders were spoken and reiterated, audible only to Mr.O. He then stripped of all but his undergarments, recieving a new set of augmentations, armor and weapons. His original beam rifle was replaced with a pair of semi-solid kinetic energy pistols, a heavy beam rifle, and a kinetic ordinance launcher. He recieved a resonant pulverizer, two new beam sabers, and an energy chain. His new armor was full combat rated, and would provide the protection this situation clearly warranted. Finally, a mirrored helmet was slid over his hideous visage, confirming his new status as an elite.

Maximus eyes widend as his mic connected with a nearby Observer, he looked around frantically, so no one could see what he was doing, he turned his back to everyone.

" Bravo, this is GOU Max Duke, location:unaware: Armed."

The helmet sealed itself with a hiss, and Mr.O walked over to Skyler to see what she was doing. His old gear was locked in the pod. The new boots squeaked slightly as he approached. "What are you doing?" he asked.

" The king on the queen."
There, finally finished. He looked up to see the familier group. He was growing tired of just sitting waiting for something to happen they needed to do something.

"This is point less, we are getting no were I say those of us who can't survive zero G go back down the elevator, those that can stay up here and we blow a wall" Johan said as he was now extremely annoyed and didn't feel like sitting around for something to happen.

"Look, folks, we aren't going to accomplish anything by just sitting around. What do you say we put all this shit behind us and get moving?"

"I like your idea better than Johan's"
I said finally getting the nerve to acually talk in the group.
"We need to vote on a leader to get us out of here."

X simply watched the goings on. His armor signaled that it had attained an Ansible link with the Kergerin. Relaying his current status and a request for his equipment. A small visual of Admiral Roze appeared on his HUD. "Crown of Swords is en-route to your position. your equipment will be sent shortly." X simply nodded slightly, confirming the plan. "Do i have any orders?" He asked through the suits neural link. the response was slow as Roze considered. "No... Proceed as you see fit. Kergerin Out." And the link went dead.

X smiled inside his suit, unslinging his case and placing it on the ground. opening it as he transferred his HK417 into his suits flatspace storage. Pulling a rather large rifle from the case that hadnt been there before. A C10MK2 tactical combat rifle.

"What ever, lets just to something before we all go mad and kill each other in said madness" Johan responded to the comments against his idea.

Maximus got up and walked towards X and got in his face, staring him down with no emotion " Why were you giving me looks back there animal..." his hand was ready to grab his combat knife just in case.

"If escape is our goal, I can help," said Mr.O, energizing the sonic pulverizer built into his new armor. "This device can match the resonant frequency of the building material, allowing me to put my hand through it as if it were air."

"Theres a flaw in that, we don't know whats on the other side, you walk through the you could easily be walking to your death" Johan said to Mr. O, while it was a nice idea its major flaw was just that.

"What are you doing?"
Skyler almost sighed to herself. Why was everyone so interested in her business?
"I am typing a report of the events occured here so far, with names, types and caliber of weapons observed and analysis of the people in this group," she explained. "I can literally sell our little adventure to a scientist somewhere so he, she or it can study the events and try to figure out all the forces involved, as well as approximate locations and origins of the people the writer meets. Strange, but it works as a sort of heads-up for governments and private interests about what's out there." she explained.

"If I put through a tentacle holding some sort of observation device, we could safley learn what is out there," suggested Mr.O.

To Skyler "A noble idea. Perhaps situations like this can be avoided in the future."

"Either that or make it the next box office hit with a little dressing up and cutting of some parts out when its all over" Johan said to Skylers idea "As for a observation device. that could work but do we have any?"

Maximus sharply turned and walked over to Mr.O " I thank you for your help monster, but I ask you to stop this game with my mind, It will drive me to my end"

"A noble idea. Perhaps situations like this can be avoided in the future."
Skyler shrugged. "Things in the universe happen as they will. There's no avoiding them. Hey," she looked at him curiously, really looking, "is that armor new? Where did it come from?" She had not seen the transport of the supplies.
Kartosh sat up, watching the others argue. Hadn't the point just been made that those controlling all this would show themselves in time? For the second time he thought: We're all going to die. Then, We are quite the disfunctional group. We probably couldn't open a box without everyone arguing the correct way to go about it. And then the problem would be solved when someone shoots it, crushes it, blows it up, chops it in half, nukes it and so on.

"I will not abuse this power, hunter, but I cannot remove it. Just do not act against my will, which you will find more and more matches your own, hunter. I will not stay your hand again, unless there are extenuating circumstances," said Mr.O privatley to Maximus.
Returning to Skyler "Yes, a little reward from High Command for my performance, and an attempt to get my body back in one piece for analysis. The weapons are new too."

Maximus was aggravated " Then I am to live a slave to your power? I think not monster." he turned and kept talking into his helmet mic, there was faint whispers, but mostly static, an Observer must be closing in, then he can have the doctors fix him up."

OOC: I used a cheap translator for this so excuse any mistakes.

The whisper of a little girl echoed though the halls of the floor.

Lights flickered randomly though out the halls and rooms of the floor. The floor looked a lot like those found in an office building. Civilian bodies laid scattered on the floor, blood every where. All of the rooms were exactly the same; no doorway, a table with random papers on them, computers (most of which were broken), cabinets, other basic office furniture and a light right over head. However, the last room on the right (there are eight sets of rooms in total in a 4X2 setting) had a video player, but no T.V. in it.

Several shadows seemed to move in the halls and the sound of a radio filled the air.

-Zulu-One-Niner, what is your statues?

-We are good, we will keep looking for Alma on another floor.

-Roger.

A screech quickly followed the noise of the radios coming from the shadows.

Redemption called the practice fight off as soon as he heard the group getting rowdy. He deactivated his armor, if something was going to happen he wanted to have every advantage possible. Turning back to the others he felt something running down his chin. Rubbing his hand against his chin he found a foul-smelling silvery-black liquid. "No way..." He thought to himself, "No F-ing way." He looked up at the others, "You guys! We might be getting some support soon!"

Meanwhile

The Prime Frigate Capricorn orbited what was once a planet.
The bridge.

A man with short black hair stood dressed in white standard Greywatch Commander attire. He was surrounded by lower rank soldiers at computer stations frantically trying to figure out what exactly happened to the planet and where Redemption had gone. A door opened and Jack walked in followed by a soldier, "Stonin! We may have a possible problem," Jack said with a sense of urgancy. The man with black hair turned around, "You weren't supposed to bother me, I know you're worried and we're doing everything we can to find him but these constant inter-" He was cut off by Jack, "Shadow's gone. All of his ritual stuff was set up in his quarters. I don't know, I think he may have used THAT ability." Stonin's eyes widened, "Shit, what the hell was he thinking? We need him here, Jack go tell Ghost he's going to be filling Shadow's shoes until we can find him. Someone put me through to Celestial Reach. We need to update them. NOW!"

"Listen hunter, the neuronet in your brain is permanent, but know that soon your goals and mine will become very much the same. As for the servitude, it will end when we part ways. Think of it as payment for that new arm of yours." said Mr.O, again privatley to the Calaverian.

Skyler's head snapped around as she was about to answer Mr. O. "What was that?"
Kartosh was already on his feet, Repeater in hand, staring into the shadows. Normally Xiscapians could see quite well in the dark with their natural nocturnal vision, but for some reason even his powerful eyes could not penetrate the gloom. He walked forward, finding a door that had been hidden, and with a look to the others, walked though it.

Maximus looked down " My loyalties lay down to the interests of the Calaverians, I will surely be killed with this abomination you have made of me." He sighed " My life has been changed upside down, and your the only person I feel in it..."

"Perhaps the Imperium will take you in. The Inquisitors are always looking to adopt a citizen of another civilization to become ambassadors." suggested Mr.O, trying to ease Maximus's worry.

Maximus shook his head left and right " No, I will always serve my true people, even if it means taking a bullet, I'm so far away from hope that Im afraid I will never see my people again, Mr.O...Im surrounded by enemys.." he looked around the room.

There was a heavy feeling in the air, not from the obvious dark energies that haunted the building but something different, in fact Redemption would be the only one to feel this energy. It was something he new very well, this different energy was little more than a harbinger telling of things to come, but this energy was very specific, he knew who it belonged to. He doubted anyone else would feel it, the only way anyone else in the room would sense what he sensed would be if they had his blood. But for now he focused on the situation at hand, he gripped the weapon he'd found on the dead guard in the entrance and began looking around the somewhat lighted room. "People, I think we just got an invite to a party!"

"Your devotion to your nation is admirable. I am sure that they will reward such loyalty." said Mr.O.
He turned his attention to Redemption and moved closer to the door, drawing a pistol. "Shal we investigate?"

"somethings not right........hey wait where did Kartosh go?" He said before him and every one else noticed the door. He got up and smirked "guess it was there all along, man are we blind" he said walking through the door way "Freedom here I come!"

"Don't be so hasty. Something is suppressing our ability to comprehend what's around us." Redemption yelled, not realizing that he currently had another shadow, much darker and with a much more malevolent feel to it.

X calmly drew back the action of the C10, chambering the firs 25mm Teflon coated tungsten steel spike as Maximus was in his face. After noticing the shadows he deactivated his light. The quarter sized beacon light dropping down and attaching to his armor. Looking back to maximus he simply said. "Were we under different circumstances i would execute you on the spot. Be glad i dont consider you a threat." he pulled the case back onto his back.

"Damnit its even worse in here" Johan said putting his hand on the wall to lead him along the path "Kartosh! where the hell in front of me are you!" he shouted out as he slowly moved forward hopefully the others would join up soon.

"Idiot! Don't get seperated! Just hold on." Redemption quick followed Johan hoping to keep the group at least somewhat together. He could shake the feeling that something else had joined them, a very familiar presence. Apparently he, nor anyone else noticed his sudden extra shadow.

OOC: Going to bed guys, cya later

X's motion sensor read the people in his team, as well as picking up things moving just in the periphery's of the sensors range. He kept with the group, phasing the C10 into its flat space storage and phasing out what looked like a P90. Though its design was changed slightly. It was modified to be an automatic light rail rifle. "I don't like this..." he said. "Am assuming i'm not the only one with a comlink. We should match frequencies in case we get separated."

"Good plan, what are you set to!?" Johan shouted back to the door barely able to hear X. He then put his helmet on and turned on the internal light and a vary weak external so he could see his own hands in front of his face. He then turned his radio on and began playing with the frequency to try and get to the right one while he waiting to hear the right one.

X called back, moving through the door holding his SMG in one hand, his free hand sliding out his combat knife. "Channel 9" He primed his com, his suits sensors showing him the hall through its electronic eyes.

Johan switched to the proper channel and then double checked to make sure "This is Johan, X you copy?" He said over the radio to make sure it was right.

X replied, clicking the safety off on his SMG. "Rodger, this is X." he said, checking the rooms as they passed them.

OCC: can i jump into this with my char, im bored.

Terrek walked down the hall, weapon outstretched, and grabbed the VCR. Now all he needed was a TV...

"Say, Skyler? Is it possible for your datapad to accept a coaxial input? I mean, I recognize that coaxial cable is centuries-old technology, but would it be possible to modify it somehow?

Skyler had followed the group, and at the moment was far more worried about Kartosh than the video tape. But she turned to him now, looking at the VCR. "It might be possible," she said doubtfully, "like you said, the technology is ancient. But-"

Another person stepped into the room, a large machine gun in his hands, yellow eyes glowing slightly in the dark. "Miss me?" Kartosh grinned. "There's no one here, not that I could see, except the bodies. But they're all freshly killed, so whatever did it is still around here somewhere. I suggest you hurry with that tape."

Skyler took out her datapad and went to work. The end result was a nest of wires and cables hooking the VCR to the datapad. Finally she bit her lip and hit the button on the VCR marked "Power." On the datapad the display showed pure blue, a sign that the link had worked. She nodded to Terrek. "Punch the tape in." she pointed to the slot on the VCR.

Kartosh was standing at the door, watchful in case anyone or anything came sniffing around, Repeater aimed outward.

Elendil woke up, after that spar he was a bit bruised up but he would be fine. He shivered and thought Something is seriously going on here, say where did the others go?

He put on his helmet, grabbed his rifle and activated his lamp lights, and walked through the new door. He step carefully and avoid all civilian bodies while calling out

"Guys? Are you in this room, no, ok how about this one. OK where the fuck are you guys!?"

"OK where the fuck are you guys!?"
"Back here! Last room on your right, center row!" called out Kartosh.

A camera is recording the following scene and it, like the others, is being recorded on a tripod.

The room is blanketed in shadows, but a few figures can be outlined in the darkness. The figures do not, in any sense of the word, appear human. One of them speaks.

"Do you believe the Mu Cepheians pose a threat?" The other one speaks, but neither one of them seem to have a mouth to speak though.

No, no, no, no, no, no, and no."

"Why must you always speak like that? Mu Cephei is a century's away from our civilization's power level and the humans are even further away, but if they combine in power they can pose a real threat!"

"I have a plan to remove them. First the humans then the doggies."

"What happens if they are already working together? If they pose a threat to us as a whole then it is impossible for you to destroy them on your own!"

"It will take the humans years. Years I say to become allies," one of the oddly shaped figures stirs, "with the doggies of Mu Cephei."

"How do you plan to do this in the first place?"

"The young one, her name is Alma."

A large creature jumped from the shadows, slime dripping down it's long narrow body. It appeared to be a worm with eight longs legs on each side of it's body. It had no face, but a massive hole that acted as it's mouth. It attacked the party of people and several more (about ten in total) leaped in to attack.

Elendil walked into the room, where everyone was huddled around a datapad watching the events on the VCR take place. He then saw the large worm like creatures come from seemingly out of nowhere. "WOAH shit, shit, shit" He said as he armed his gun with shereder rounds and open fired on the worms

"Alma," said Skyler, tapping the screen as it cut off, "why does that name ring a-"
A huge worm-like monster was spawned from the darkness, barreling towards them. Skyler lept out of the way as Kartosh turned and fired the grenade launcher at the gaping mouth of the worm closest, the little sphere of destructive energy arching cleanly inside and exploding, blowing the worm apart. Skyler pelted the worms with duel blaster pistols, firing dozens of shots as fast as her fingers could pull the triggers.

Elendil seeing the shredders were having little grabbed his blade and yelled "Cover me, I'm going in!" He sprinted to the nearest worm and slashed it's "Head" off then he leaped and landed on a second and stabbed the energy blade into it's "head".

Johan heard the weapons fire begin "Thats way to much fire for them to be killing each other" he said turning and moving as fast as he could to get to the others "X's its Johan mass weapons fire, see you there" he said gun raised, as he ran to the room. He then turned a corner and arrived where every one had began gathering. He then saw the worm like creatures "Holy frack me on a stick, finally some fun" he said putting his rifle over his shoulder and grabbing one of the one time use rockets off his back. He shoulder mounted it and took aim at the creature "Hey worm, eat this!" he said pulling the trigger sending the rocket flying at it. He then tossed it on the ground because it was useless now and grabbed his gun again.

"Woah!" Elendil said as a rocket raced past his face and hit the worm next to him.

"Nice shot there buddy!"

"I can't leave you alone for one moment before you get into a fight, can I?"

The machine clawed its way across the ceiling, digging into the supports, before dropping into fighting position. Its first swing hit one of the worms, claws leaving sickly fluids to spray into the air as it started on the others. The next one it caught sight of had already been stabbed in the front area, but a quick search of its memory reminded it most worms did not have a brain in a single area: more a band down their entire length. A blur of activity later, and 29 seperate pieces were left to wriggle on the floor. The worm it had slashed lept up trying to eat it, finding an impervious metal shell instead of what it had been expected. It stood on two limbs, the other four prising it from its body to through it straight through a room wall and into the elevator lobby, crunching against the wall.

It cleaned off the sticky oils from the worm, before releasing from one of its arms a small units. It was similar to the repairing unit, but with much more precision tools and many odd-looking vials. It bent over onto the still-wriggling worm body, before extracting a piece of flesh.
"If anyone here has a radio transmission unit or genetic sampling database, I might be able to find out what the hell these creatures are. In exchange, I'll act as your adapter to play that video."

Maximus swung around, lifted his rifle and began firing, the tritanium rounds went through anything that was in there way, one of the creatures fell to the ground, clear holes through them and through the wal behind them. Another one of the brutish creatues lept upon him, dropping his rifle, he drew his knife and sliced its throat. Maximus tossed its body off of him, it slammed upon the ground when it landed. He got up, blood running down his face as he picked up his Warpath rifle.

OOC: Okay I'm finally back.

Redemption hadn't followed the followed the group even though he'd been the one to warn against being separated. He felt alone and unneeded until he heard the sound of multiple weapons firing. He activated his suit, slung the reifle he'd found over his shoulder and drew his Dragoncry pistols, running to see the source of the commotion.

"Thanks" Johan said to Elendil seeing the worm go down from the rocket blast "I only got two of those babies left" he said moving his rifle to his left hand and another rocket onto his right shoulder. He opened fire on a worm with his rifle not using the rocket yet he was waiting for his opportunity to get a clean shot.

Mr.O was taken by surprise by the new monsters, and four of them pouncing as one on his chest brought him to the ground, luckily, onto a fifth creature that was shattered beneath O's weight. He crushed one of the beast's head with his right hand, fending off their claws with the other. He forced himself into a sitting position and fired his pistol into another beast. At this point, his attackers moved on to other partymembers.

"Interesting. Alma... I've heard that name recently but I just can't place it..."

And then the worms showed up.

With his heightened reflexes, Terrek was able to swing his weapon around and fire several rounds into the oncoming worm before it was able to get anywhere near him. He kicked over a desk in the office and took cover behind it, using it as a barrier between him and the worms.

"Where the frack did they all come from?" Johan exclaimed as he looked at the bullet count go down and then hit zero on his rifle. He ejected the spent clip and quickly slapped in a new one "This keeps up were going to run out of ammo pretty fast" He said changing targets to another worm. He then saw a worm coming from the shadows, he raised the rocket on his right shoulder and fired. He tossed the spent case on the ground and continued using his rifle.

I woke up to gunfire and screams coming from the end of the hallway.
Hmm, must of dosed off. What the?
Seeing the worms he picked up his rifle holding it to his shoulder taking aim and firing.
What?
They just kept coming.

Upon walking in on the scene Redemption immediately firing shots at the new foe. His Dragoncry pistols sceemed louder than any other weapon as the armor-piercing, explosive rounds ripped through the flesh of the enemy. "Yes... yes... YES! Keep them coming! Give me more!" He yelled watching pieces of flesh fly off of his foes as they fell to the ground, drowning in puddles of their own blood.

X simply took aim from where he stood. his sensors noting the position of the other members even through the darkness. Leveling his C10 his internal targeting system and network of relex wires keyed on. Time for him began to move a bit slower as his brain began to process the information faster than it came. There, an opening. With a muffled but still loud POP he let a round fly. the 25mm tungsten steel spike exiting the barrel at almost supersonic velocity. punching through a series of walls before neatly tearing through one of the creatures mouthlike heads, carrying enough of an impact force to nearly tear the things top half off. Mr O would be able to feel the shot as it passed over his sitting figure.

One of the buttons on Mr.O's jacket was torn loose by the force of X's bullet. He stood to his full height, kicking a worm away, and firing again into those that remained.

OOC: How many are there?

Johan was shooting his rifle off like a mad man trying to kill the worms, reloading clip after clip. Eventually he ran out of ammo in the clip he had, he reached for another one but there wasn't any more "Shit" he said tossing the rifle away and pulling out the last rocket. A worm lunged at him to attack, Johan jumped onto its head to avoid it. The worm then swung its head upwards fast sending johan high into the air. While in mid air Johan did a back flip "Die" he said to him self firing the last rocket at the worm. The force of the explosion sent him flying even further. When he finally landed he landed on his back "Ah damnit that hurt" he said getting up, his body singing with pain. His only weapons left where his two blades which he extended "Now the real fun begins" he said smiling.

Elendil moved to Johan's position. He noticed the blades in his hands and said "Need a hand?"

OOC: time for some kick ass co-op swordplay

Redemptions rounds ripped through the flesh of the worms, he had bagun to give up aiming and most of his rounds were flying past the heads of his allies, setting off explosions as they came into contact with other surfaces. "GET DOWN!" He yelled to everyone before spinning himself on one foot and sending a 360 degree barrage of bullet spray. His clips depleted, he quickly pressed the release buttons on the sides of his weapons, sending the smoking, emptied clips to the floor. "Assume Ammo," he said and fresh clips materialized inside his weapons, he looked around to see if anything had survived his wild shooting.

Johan looked at Elendil and smirked "Yeah, sure now lets show them who's boss" he said but before he could he heard the call to hit the deck so he did pulling Elendil down to the ground to. He then waiting for Redemption to stop shooting. When he did stop Johan stood up and got his footing again.

"Thanks for the save," Elendil said as Johan pulled him down to dodge the bullets. "Looks like I need to return the favor" He said after sighting a worm heading for Johan. He grabbed the man by his arms and using his nanite enhanced arms, threw the man onto the head of the incoming worm.

"Take him out!" He yelled to Johan once he landed on the Worm's head.

"My pleasure" Johan said, he then took his two blades and stabbed them right into the middle of the worm. He then pulled away slicing the head of the worm right off. He then jumped onto the ground as the worm died right there "nice move"

"Standard Oblivion avoidance manuver, Although it usually breaks arms to those without power armor, you must be with ZAFT then." He said while slicing the midsecton off the worm that Johan landed on, just to make sure.

"Yep, ZAFT has you wear armor now matter what, no such thing as fabric when in combat, then again when in combat you always have a sixteen meter tall mobile suit covering your ass" He said watching the worm get sliced up even more "Any one got a count on how many?" he said as he saw a worm come at him, he ducked and came in from under it, slicing it clean from end to end. He looked at the two halves on either side of him "And I thought the outside was ugly"

"Ya, they are ugly, but I think we got all of them!" He said giving Johan a Hi-Five

"Man, you got some sick skills with those Blades there, What are they made of?"

X turned at the call to duck, letting the rounds impact the case on his back, which was made of 3 inches of heavy starship armor. This allowed him to spot one last worm as it was about to attempt to munch him. He grabbed the strap by reflex and swung the 6 foot case like a hammer, dropping his C10 and slamming the thing to the ground with a sickening thump. Some of its vital fluids spraying from its mouth. He nimbly flipped over the case, sliding the case off of it to land on the creature, digging both of his toe claws into the beast and kicking back, neatly tearing it open before a gout of flame came from his back, propelling him off the creature with his case in hand. the worm writhing as its insides spilled out.

He kicked his feet a bit, flicking the excess slime off. as he put his case onto his back again. Picking up his C10 from the floor. "simple beasts..." He muttered, joining the group.

"Great Qonn!" Kartosh yelped as he dove to avoid the spray of bullets from Redemption. At this rate we're more likely to accidentally shoot each other than be killed by any of these beasts! The office area was in shambles, bodies of worms and dead civilians thrown about with the wreckage of flimsy cubicle walls and trashed computers. Skyler groaned when she saw her datapad, smashed and mangled, by the collateral damage, wires cut and hissing. The floor was carpeted with body parts and blood, and the violence subsided as suddenly as it had come, leaving the group blood-drenched and ammunition stocks considerably lighter.

Skyler finally holstered her pistols, still weary for any additional attackers, while Kartosh kept his Repeater in his arms, panting as he leaned against a wall shredded by gunfire and colored with fluids.

"Well you all seem to be okay so that's a start. Ahhh... nothing like a good battle, mmmmhhmmm. Oh and FYI sniping isn't the only form of combat I know, clearly. Next time I'll try keeping my craziness to a minimum." Redemption looked around at his companions, they were all okay, for the most part. He had only used two clips, pretty good for a typical battle. "Can I assume that everyone's okay ammo-wise?"

"Obviously nobody here listened to me. Ill repeat myself. Anyone want to know what the hell these are and what possbly sent them? If you want to know, then bring me a communications uplink. Thankyou. Then I might be able to do something about that VCR."

It skewered a piece of worm still wriggling.

"Oh, and I almost forgot to say: you haven't killed all the worms. They've got a system that allows the pieces to survive and regrow. So burn the lot before they all start regrowing into 10 times as many. Or stamp on them. Better still, if you can be asked, atomise them. As long as you make sure they ain't moving."

Redemption looked back, "Huh? Oh I kinda forgot about you for a minut e there." He looked down they were still moving. He holstered his pistols and deactivated his suit. He began stomping out whatever pieces were still moving, and eating the larger parts of worm that would try and regenerate.

"Ammo? I used all my clips, now I'm down to my blades but thats the way I like it" Johan said in response to Redemptions question. He then walked over to the others and retracted his blades, his suit was covered in blood "So what's our next course of action?" he said almost in a relaxed mood now that he managed to get some stress relief.

Maximus returned the group, he smashed his combat boot down on a creatues head, spiting in its mouth. He dropped a clip and relaoded " Three clips left, one tranq clip" he thought. He wiped off his blade and put it back in its holster.

"So what's our next course of action?"
"Get the fuck out of here," growled Kartosh. "These things are coming out of nowhere, and thanks to all of you, every computer that might have at least told us where we are has been destroyed. If we can just find a way to get out of this building, we might stand a chance of finding out where we are, or, better yet, who's controlling all this."

Maximus nodded "What do you think our next course of action should be animal?.."

"That might not be true, so far, how many people in our group have revealed their use of nanites? Correct me if I'm wrong but those things are nothing more than very small computers. Maybe they can merge with these broken consoles and salvage some information. Plus we haven't even looked around for a computer that many have fallen off its desk, sure the monitor may not work but if the console itself still works we'll be in luck." Red said, he had returned to his normal mental state and had resolved to as much of a help as he could be. "Now then, I'm gonna go find something that can be salvaged."

Kartosh glared at the Calaveran. "Watch your mouth, Calaveran. Why couldn't you have died with the worms?"
Skyler picked up her savaged datapad, pawing though the broken remains, trying to see if anything was salvageable.

Maximus smiled at Kartosh before walking past Skyler and slipping the tranq pistol out of her holster " That's mine thank you" he walked over towards Mr.O.

"Well, if you can find some sort of console unit that is even moderately damaged, I can try a quick fix on it."

Kartosh frowned at the little machine. "Really? You can do that? Well I'll try and find one, then." He straightened up and began to look among the monitors and CPUs that were strewn across the floor.
Skyler stood suddenly, reaching over and spinning Maximus around with her hand, grabbing the pistol back with the other and leveling it at his face. "Now, now, only naughty boys take without saying please. Go back to your master, before I shoot you in the face."

Maximus grinned " Alright mam, but you shouldnt take things that arent yours." he stood next to Mr.O, and changed clips, live ammo, to tranqlizer rounds, and he slightly had it leveled against her, not suspicialsy.

Kartosh emerged from the gloom a few moments later, a CPU with a few bullet holes in it under one arm and a monitor with a number of scratches and smudges but without apparent serious damage on the other. He set them down in front of the droid, drawing out wires to the nearest outlet. "I picked the least damaged I could find," he said, "now work your magic."
Skyler ignored Maximus and placed the pistol back in it's holster. She trusted the Calaveran a lot less than she could throw him, considering she could probably throw the man, with enough determination and momentum, across this room.

From under Mr.O's armor came a tentacle unlike the others seen, this one tipped with some sort of vial and computer. It was plunged into one of the worms and analyzed. "I cannot eat these, and you all would do well to avoid touching open wounds to them. Machina, please examine this DNA sample, if you are able," he said, holding the vial up to the robot.

Maximus quickly raised his rifle to and aimed it to the back of Skylers head, he thought about squeezing the trigger sending the dart into her spine, but decided to give her a chance to just hand it over " I said to drop my weapon, everyone else here has theres, I think I have a right in this party to carry all of my equipment, if you don't just hand it over I can put you to sleep harmlessly and pick it up, Im sure Kartosh can take care of you while your out."

"C'mon you two, this is getting really old. And Sky, I thought you said that traq pistol was a piece of crap, why are you even carrying it around?" Redemption said, becoming quickly annoyed with the two's bickering. He then looked to Kartosh, "Nice work comrade. Now we're a little bit further in reaching our goals." Redemption then looked to Mr.O, "Nah, I just ate some of them, not good, but I'll be fine for now, hell, I might be able to learn something from them."

Skyler just smiled. "I like this gun anyway, besides, the more weaponry the better the chance you'll be able to react to any given situation appropriately. Calaveran, I'm not going to give you back your gun. If you try to shoot me, I will break all your limbs and then knock you out. Deal with it."

It extended from the same arm as before the repairing tools, before it plunged the arm into the unit, a small light appearing from somewhere. There were multiple sparks, followed by loud screechs and whirrs.

"Three bullets: one hit the power unit, the other two into the mother board. Not too bad, since they missed the main processor. Anyhow..."

A small cloud of smoke came out of the unit, followed by a hiss. There was loud beeps as the unit started up, followed by a strange electrical clicking noise. It withdrew the tool arm, tools disappearing, before it moved in another arm covered in tiny electrical contacts. Each arm, it explained, was equipped with the blade and with a different unit for doing things. It produced a socket from hudnreds of tiny little arms, taking the shape of a universal adapter.
"If you want to do anything and actually see it, now's the time to plug your screen in."

"Sorry, can't help you till I get a coms uplink. I can only store so much in my mind, especially since it was converted with a 'Genuine Personality' unit. You can tell can't you?"

Redemption decided enough was enough and once again used his blinking ability, disapearing from his current location and appearing between Skyler and the hunter. "Don't even try, and that's directed at both of you," he said coldly. "If you both can't buck up and act like you're on the same team I will find a way a disciplining you two."

After a pause, Mr.O had completed his analysis of the tissue. "It appears to be an insect-ceophopod hybrid of some kind. I doubt it is a natural creature, as its regenerative abilities and xenomorphic structures rarley occour together in any animal kingdom on any planet I know of."

Do you really wanna take a chance with me? You don't know who I am, your race tried to study me once and failed. I'm sure you know all about the incident, the entire lab team was slaughtered. Ring any bells?"

Redemption looked at the hunter and smiled, "I hear you but I don't care. You're everyone's bitch at the moment so your thoughts don't manner you pitful being." He then looked at Skyler, "You still don't understand this don't you, you're both so slow." He looked at both of them, "Both of you now have a common hatred, me. I'll bet it I become a threat to either of you, you'll both work together to kill me. That was the purpose of this, consider yoursleves disciplined.

The hole in his head sealed itself rapidly, "Yeah, I still got that ability." He began walking away from the hunter and Skyler, "So, you were saying? I think it was something about not needing help to kill me? But nevermind that," he looked at Kartosh, "what you got there, anything useful?"

His beam saber was drawn, and he sliced the hollowed body in half, from the crotch up, then quartered him. Finally, Mr.O shot tentacles into the ruins of the skull, scooping out brains and eyes, and shoveling them into the once again revealed maw. When the gory display was complete, the visor sealed with a hiss and the tentacles retracted, and Mr.O acted as if nothing had happened.

Maximus stood next to Mr.O as the circled formed around him " What the fuck?" he looked at the symbol.

Mr.O stepped gingerly out of the circle, wondering where the voice had come from, but unaffraid of what was to come.

"The one thing we can't seem to stop, is killing each other, frack what is with you people, can't you put off killing each other till after we are out of here?" Johan said visibly extremely annoyed and his comrades, if you could even call them that.

Redemption's skin began reforming itself, as it did so it also turned a pitch black color. After completely reforming, it stood up, but it looked nothing like Redemption had, instead, there was a demonic looking suit of armor standing where the corpse had been. It was spikey, scalely, and had sharp horns and white on its head. It opened its mouth to show a row of jagged teeth. There were not eyes in the sockets oh the armor, there was no presence of life in the armor, but it moved anyway. A grunting sound came from it the ground around it exploded lauching dust everywhere, out of the cloud it came ludging at Mr.O and stabbing through his armor into his stomach, ignoring the hunter. "I'm coming for me," the voice whispered in Mr.O's mind, "and then I'll be coming for you too."

Maximus lifted his rifle and began to pump a full clip into the demonic beaing, judging from what he had just done, it might be a vain approach, he was readying a tranq clip for the next barrage and he would go in with the knife if he had to.

The weapon did little against the being and Redemption's blood began to crawl out of Mr.O's body into the hollow shell. "Stop trying," The other voice called again, "You can't stop him, no matter what you do, only I can stop him."

OOC-Kinda wearing serious armor...

The hand in the stomach was nothing to Mr.O, who's body had already synthesized the organs into basic protiens and would shortly be using them to repair this petty damage. He activated the harmonic pulverizers in his armor, tearing easily through the armor of the beast and removing the offending arm. Tentacles, re-enforced with fiborous protien structures, shot from the hole in his stomach to tear at the black armor. His other hand freed a beam saber and stabbed through the center of the demon's chest. He then pushed the armor across the room, preparing for the next clash.

"Something tells me bullets won't work, Mr. O, Redemption can it for now we got a bigger fish to fry" Johan said, he didn't even notice anything wrong until Maximus started shooting. He deployed his blades if the son of a bitch was going to go for him, he would fight to the death.

The shards of the armor came back together and attacked again. A hollow, almost robotic voice came from the armor, "Attack damage minimum, destroy target, retrieve self, the angels of death summoned, Redemoption must be handed out," the voice said quickly. Inside Mr.O's body, Redemption's mangled body was already reforming and trying to push it was up Mr.O's throat. The armor's arms bubbled like boiling water before shaping into blades. "Combat approach updated," The voice said quickly, the armor blinked, disapearing and appearing over Mr.O. "Release, release, release." The armor said now hacking away at the visor, putting decent grooves in it with every slash.

OOC: This armor nearly, and I mean only nearly, otherworldly. Not trying to GM my char, I planned this out fairly well.

Seeing an opportunity, Mr.O opened the visor and vomited the now bladed flesh of Redemption into the armor, piercing it like a missile. He rolled from under it, slicing with his beam saber, then got back to his feet. He unslung the beam rifle from his back and fired into the armor. A beam of pure energy pierced the armor and tore through it's torso and neck, melting metal and flaying it appart molecule by molecule, atom by atom, imbedding the pieces in whatever the beam met next. He guided the beam down the body, cutting the armor much like he had cut the original Redemption. He switched the weapon from beam to scatter, and put dozens of penny sized holes in the armor, destroying structural integrity and causing damage. He reslung his rifle and readied his other saber, knowing that this battle could draw out longer, but hoping the more sane words of others would prevail.

The armor, along with the shattered body parts melded together refroming itself back into the black armor Mr.O had done so much to destroy. It stood for a moment before looking down at itself. "Wow, I look sexy," Redemption's voice called out from behind the demonic mask. The blood symbols on the floor oozed over to, and rejoined him. Out of the armor's shadow appeared another man, a man dressed in all black clothing with dark purple hair. The new Redemption looked at him and then began walking toward Mr.O, preparing to finish the fight. "Redemption, what do the 51 angels call for in times of war?" The other man asked. Redemption looked back, "They call for mercy, Shadow." The other man clapped his hands, "What are you doing Redemption?"
"I'm delivering justice, Shadow."
"What are you doing Redemption?"
"I'm delivering personal justice, Shadow."
"What are you truly doing Redemption?"
"I am exacting revenge, Shadow."
"Revenge leads to war, you know that don't you Redemption?" He looked at Redemption calmly. Redemption turned around fully, "He must be redeemed." He said. The man looked at Mr.O, "You must forgive him," the man said. Redemption turned to Mr.O, "I will offer mercy." The man nodded, "Well done Redemption, now please rest while I talk to them." Redemption saluted the man and stood like a statue in the center of the room. The man walked to Mr.O, "I am Shadow, forgive my companion for being difficult, I will disciplin him." Shadow extended his hand for a handshake.

Mr.O was both relieved and dissapointed with this summation, but nevertheless he deactivated his beam sabers, replaced them at his hips, and shook the man's hand. "His transgression is forgiven," said Mr.O with even less emotion than usual.

"Now thats your all done, can we get moving? i'd like to get out of here, today perhaps, hell i don't even know what day it is any more" Johan said to there others as he watched the two men shack hands.

Shadow smiled, "Ah, thankyou for that. But, I am afraid the transgression was not all his unfortunantly. By the standard code of any battle, one must typically wait for five minutes before deeming any target down. In his mind, by eating him, you were breaking that code and thereby gave him full pardon, thus allowing him to hold nothing back." Shadow bowed politely, "However, I never intended for him to be this difficult. I muct warn you to never destroy his collar again, it is the central hub for his armor, and its the last barrier to keep him from unleashing that power which you displayed." Shadow looked around the room, and gave a respectful nod to everyone. "Pardon me, I must repair his collar." Shadow said, walking over to the broken device that lay where Redemption's body had been.

OCC: personally i say " That guy is fucken god moded, and no fun to play with" but whatever i can deal with it.

Maximus had moved away from them now, he was very confused of the situation, so he took a seat to forget what had happend, he threw down a clip, "Waste of ammo..." he said to himself, before loading a fresh clip, whoever this guy was he was powerful.

OOC- I agree, Mr.O is a living tank, who somehow just got ripped into and smashed, and this undying god just brushes it off, after I lay enough firepower into him to kill the rest of the party? Whatever.

After fixing the collar he placed it around Redemption's neck, who slowly melted away in Shadow's shadow. "Okay, now that all that's over with... He's gone now, I've taken his place to a certain extent. You won't hear of him anymore."

A gunshot to the head, knife to the next, mutilation, drawn and quartered...nothing was permanently effective. Damn, thought Kartosh, even Biodroids stop if you blow off their heads. Skyler observed in silence. "What the hell is he?" she finally asked this man called Shadow. "Why is he with us? Are you controlling all this? Are you why we are here?" She asked accusingly.
OOC: Is there any way to permanently kill Redemption? Because, if you don't mind and are removing him from the story, I think it would be cool if Skyler killed him...or at least sent him away to where ever he's destined to go.

Maximus soon found himself hugging Mr.O, he was overwhelmed by the events of the past couple of days, if there were even days, he just needed to get away from everything.

There were some unforeseen problems... anyway, he and I share a bond which allows me to essentially follow him, and him alone over great distances. It took about 3 hours of work but I was able to perform a 'shadowmeld' with him when the bomb went off. But nevermind any of that, the only thing you need to know is that I more or less swapped him out. He's gone and I've taken his place, I can't just 'blink' from one place to another like him." Shadow looked around the room, "I imagine he's getting a good sleep right now, his ability to fake a situation is remarkable, he'll be unable to fight for a few years at best. The fact he even continued to stand... damn him and his ego." Shadow whirled around with his hands behind his back, pacing back and forth. "I do hope he's okay... but enough of my worries, I assure you I played no part in this, other than creating the monster you saw known as Redemption. I feel there will probably be know way to better his name amongst you all. Ah! I know! I will fight for you and prove that the soldiers of Greywatch are not all like him. But please, forgive him, it really is my fault, his age and participation in wars as led to so many emotional disorders..." He then swung around to the group and respectfully bowed again.

Shadow gulped nervously, "I shouldn't tell you this but I will since you already have some right to know. You couldn't kill him because, for lack of a better term, he's already semi-dead. He is a... demonic being... almost like a ghost, who we, the Formidden Division, sealed inside of a artificially created body. I'm sorry, its hard to explain, I have no idea why I went and bothered to interfer in the realm of the gods." Shadow had tears running down his face as he spoke, "Please forgive me." He looked up at the blackness above, "Redemption, don't die on me, I've done so much to help you become human, just don't die, not yet, I don't need to be alone again," Shadow said quietly to himself, he forgot about the others and began to weep.

Maximus said to Mr.O " I want to be come a centurion, is this not possible?" he said to Mr.O holding closer, breathing on him.

Shadow wiped his eyes, "I suppose that might be possible, wait. Give me a recap of some of the important events so far, and don't include Red in any of these will you. I need to know about significant discoveries that have been made, possible presences of third parties and such." Shadow was now very serious, he knew Johan might be onto something, in his mind Shadow knew even Red shouldn't of been the way he was.

"You mean other then the weird things such as us being transported to this tower with no way out, finding a secret door, being attacked by worm like creatures that came out of no where, and then you showing up?" Johan said to shadow recounting the most recent events.

Mr.O was shocked. "Become a Centurion?!? It is possible, but, painful." He thought. "It can be done, here, but it will be agony, and you will not be as powerful as I am, but you will be a Centurion all the same." With that he extended a tentacle to Maximus's neck. "Say the word, and I will begin the process."

"Sure that's all strange to you, I've seen stranger. Was there anything else, I dunno, explanations for the dead bodies, otherworldly presences... I need those kind of details too." Shadow was looking around him, no wonder this group was on edge, Redemption not being there wouldn't of changed much, they were going through a literal hell.

Maximus bent his head forward " Yes, this way when or if i return to my people, they can study me, and probably use me as a blueprint for future weapons, I also want this for myself." The tentacle could be seen shining off his black helmet. " The first Calaverian Centurion" he thought.

"Bodies? yeah plenty of those on the lower level of this place where we first appeared, I didn't really pay attention to how they died, the others might help there if they noticed, as for anything else, there has been a lack of people around before we came here not to mention weapons, and ammo being conveniently placed for us to find and use, Now that I think about it sounds more and more likely that some one is playing use like pawns in a game of chess"

And what about the odd voices that echoed throughout the building at seemingly random times?"

Elendil then got serious "Hey, Hey, Hey. What the hell are you doing to Maximus!" He screamed at MR.O. He engaged his blade and in Blind fury rushed forward, leaped and attempted to cut the behemoth in twine.

OCC: Since he is a Calaverian(highly-evolved human) wouldnt he look different im thinking pure white body with gold markings on his face and body. He should be stronger than the average Centurtion, seeing as he is genitcally evolved, but still not like you.

Shadow turned aroung suddenly, he stretched his hand toward Mr.O, attempting to make a psycokenetic barrier but failed. "Wait! Observe the situation then strike!" Shadow called but it was too late.

As the transformation was taking place, Mr.O went back to the gear crate in the other room and retrieved his old armor and weapons. He carried them back into the room and laid them before Maximus, who would soon be too bulky to wield his old weapons as easily.

"I can spread the Centurion mutagen, which creates weaker Centurions. A true Centurion is born and bred specifically as a weapon, he will be like me in form only, with much less in the way of capability. And yes, the pain is incredible at the moment." explained Mr.O.

Maximus awoke wearily, he slowly began to move, till he was on all fours, breathing hard.

"If I induced him with pain killers would it stop the transformation?"

"No, nor would it do much. Centurion nerves are structured differently, and percieve different degrees of torment. Painkillers would relieve what a normal humanoid would interpert as pain, but not a Centurion." said Mr.O.

"They might not have a effect on him, if there transforming him, there rewriting his DNA, a pain killer might just get destroyed as it enters his blood stream" Johan commented, he was no biologist but it seemed plausible.

Shadow walked over to Maximus and crouched down beside him, "Amazing, I've not seen anything like this for awhile. Perhaps when I get out of here I can study ways of creating a mutagen like this," he then looked up at Mr.O, "Now that I think of it, you're very similar to a Vampire. I'll have to keep my eyes on you, I'll most likely need to write up a report of everything that happened here and I'm sure you'd be a subject of interest."

Shadow smiled at Johan, "You're very knowledgeable indeed. However I've never heard of 'Vampire Syndrome,' but I have seen actual, blood-sucking, supernatural, superhuman, night-stalking, bite-a-virgin-of-the-opposite-sex Vampires. Scary stuff, tried to study them but," Shadow pulled his collar down showing off scars of numerous past bites, "It wasn't easy, and you can't study them when they're dead. They always crumble to dust."

"As much as this all really helps us," said Kartosh dryly, "we still have no idea where the fuck we are. This," he pointed to the monitor, "is no help at all. There's absolutly nothing on here, except a standered start-up program." Skyler was watching Maximus carefully. If it came to it, she could probably still kill him, but now it would be a hell of a lot harder.

"ZAFT has encountered the classic vampire before but that was long ago, no one has sighted one since then, As for why you don't know about Vampire Syndrome, its probably because in a sense we created it" Johan said turning to Kartosh "I know it doesn't help but we don't really know where to go from here so we might as well talk while we think, If you point us in the direction you think gets us out of here I'd gladly follow"

Shadow looked around the room, so many corpses lay scattered about, Shadow looked up, "Question. Anyone want some extra fire support?" He liked to travel light and carried storage carriers similar to the one's he'd given to Redemption. Inside each of his coat pockets he had a 'Summoner' that could store fairly decent sized objects and he also carried a lot of medical equiptment as well as hidden weapons. He had no intention of attacking this group, instead he decided to try and make them a new family. "So any takers on the extra fire support?" he said with a cheery grin.

Maximus stood up, he was naked because his body would have torn through all of his armor when Mr.O injected him, he had his black comabt suit with its plating and Warpath assault rifle, grenades, and etc. He picked them up handed them to Shadow " Hold these for me?"

Mr.O inspected Maximus's new form. His human figure was still much the same, but had expanded. He had lost his hair, as expected, but his skin had turned white instead of grey, and strange gold markings streaked his skin, probably a side effect of his existing augmentation. He stood him up, and helped him put on his new armor. "Your transformation is complete, my friend."

Maximus stood up, he was naked because his body would have torn through all of his armor when Mr.O injected him, he had his black comabt suit with its plating and Warpath assault rifle, grenades, and etc. He picked them up handed them to Shadow " Hold these for me?"

"Sure thing," Shadow said, "and thanks for trusting me."

Maximus smiled as he flexed his arms, showing his increased strength, grabbed Mr.O's extra gear and put it on. He adjusted it to suit his form, and was bewildred on what he was exactly given " We need a replicator to get my weapons and armor up to my scale."

Shadow wanted to know how such a technology worked but decided not to ask right away, for a stranger to ask how such a thing was possible would seem suspicious and he still needed to stay in everyone's good graces.

Kartosh just shook his head and switched off the monitor, pushing it away across the floor. He sat completely and began to clean carbon scoring off the barrel of his Repeater with what looked like a blue blood cloth, scraping away little mounds of slag where the hot energy metallic bolts had left behind scraps of themselves, burned into the metal.
Skyler too sat and stared at Maximus. He was different, bigger, probably harder, faster, stronger, better. But she had a hunch that he wasn't any smarter. If Mr. O could not keep him under control, she knew the first one he would come after would be her.
And she would be ready.

Shadow looked down at the ground sorrowfully, no one apparently needed his abilites. No one was even really bothering to acknowledge his presence, he felt somewhat invisble to them. It wasn't anything new to him though, he was often not accepted among Greywatch society, whether it was interacting with civilians or military personel. But a more serious porblem was at hand, he wasn't able to use his cryptic abilities and didn't know why. He'd tried to make a barrier earlier but it didn't work leading him to believe that something was blocking his power, most likely the same thing that had made Redemption more aggresive than usual. He hoped that there were answers inside the silent walls of whatever structure they were all in.

Maximus ignored the Xscapian, he was sure he was a larger threat to them, and they would be watching him more often and they would surely be alert if he ever attacked them.

"Someone! Please help me! Help me!" a male voice seeming to be coming from a wall with a cabinet on it. The cabinet fell and reveled a door. There was a lot of banging on the door and a scream followed the banging.

Maximus quickly ran to the cabinet and ripped it out, revealing the voice.

Kartosh lept to his feet and, Repeater out, rushed to the door, twisting the doorknob violently to open it. Skyler was right behind him, pistols aimed at the door just in case anything nasty with a human-sounding voice decided to pay a visit.

Shadow looked over at the others who were frantically running to the once hidden door. He decided to keep a safe distance in case there was anything nasty behind it. His cloak was perfect for concealing small weapons like the multiple scalples he kept hidden in his sleeves. If need be, they could be used as weapons.

"Yet another turn in this adventure, heh and I just noticed I still had my blades out" Johan said relaxing his hands causing the blades to retract, He like shadow kept his distance from the strange voice not knowing what to think of it just yet.

On the other side of the door appeared a human male wearing a lab coat. Breathing hard he jumped on the floor in the room with the others.

"Don't let her get me! Please do not let her take me away!" he yelled frantically as he crawled away from the door. The door led to a vintage hallway with a wooden door on the other side. Flower wallpaper, a wooden ceiling, and floor made up the hallway's appearance.

Shadow jumped over the man to the doorway using his blinking ability, he looked at the new area. He then jumped backwards landing in front of the man. "Elaborate please," he said with a sense of urgency.

"So who wants to go down the hallway first?"
He said taking babysteps toward the group.

"well since you brought it up why not you?, of course we will back you up" Johan said to him hold his forearm up in the air ready to use his blade.

"I'll go," offered Terrek. He stepped cautiously into the hallway, rifle leveled in front of him.

"I'll go,"
"Back-up," was all that Kartosh said as he stepped in behind Terrek, Repeater leveled as he edged in. "Door number one, or number two?" he murmured, swiveling the barrel of the gun to point to the doors on opposite sides. Skyler, out in the room, knelled beside the man in the lab coat.
"Elaborate please,"
"Yes," she nodded, "please do. What happened to you?"

"Both, eventually, but we'll start with the nearest, I think. I'll kick, you cover?"

"Ill go where you guys go, so count you can count on me for cover fire!" Elendil said to Terrek

"I'll kick, you cover?"
Kartosh nodded. "Sure thing." He took a step back and trained his gun on the door at what was waist height for him, knowing any shape or size of beastie or hostile soldier could be waiting beyond that door.

Smiling, Terrek activated the microfibral muscle. He leveled the rifle, brought his leg up, rolled his hip, and kicked, as hard as he could at the door, somewhat near the handle for maximum torque. The door smashed open and Terrek followed the kick through, landing inside.

Shadow looked over at Skyler, it was obvious that she could handle the man. He blinked away and appeared over one of the corpses that was still reletively intact. "You'll do just fine," he mumbled to himself. "Assume surgery," he said and a large medical kit promptly appeared beside him. He kneeled over the body and began his work.

"Guess I'm taking up the rear" Johan said following close behind the group as they moved ahead. He deployed both his blades as he stuck close behind every one. His eyes were pealed ready to spot what ever came behind the, if any thing, god only knew what was behind them now.

Mr.O drew a pistol and a beam saber and headed into the hall, following the group towards the unknown.

OOC: A little bit of both you see... I have started to forget that I'm suppose to be posting here, but I feel as if this thread is dying anyways... That is not too say that the story of FEAR is dead. I already have begun to plan a newer, better version of FEAR. FEAR 2.0! It will have a different writing style, it will be scarier, better organize and will be written so that there can be many rp'ers on the thread at once, but that everyone gets a chance to post (I hope). "The girl! She trying to kill me!" the man began to sob. Inside the hallway blood began to drip from the walls, a voice like that of a laugh creep'ed along the walls, and a shadow in the shape of a girl appeared in the middle of the hallway. She laughed then lunge at the group. As she made contact she turned to nothingness and the bloody hallway disappeared to be replaced by a lab. Computers, books, chemicals and a strange machines littered the massive room. The room is completely white beside for the pool of blood on the floor.

At this point Shadow was done with his operation and what had once been a corpse was now following him slowly as he joined the rest of the group. It wasn't the most beautiful of creatures but it would do.

OOC: The thing following him can be best described as a zombie, there just isn't really a better term...

Skyler grabbed the man by the shoulders, gently, not violently. "Shh, shh, it's okay now, no one's going to hurt you, just relax, you're fine..."
Kartosh made a lunge for the girl but she vanished. He cursed and stepped inside the lab, looking around and noting the pool of blood. "What have we here...?"

Johan walked over to the pool of blood and dipped two fingers in it, he then rubbed it around "It's fresh, blood has not started to clot yet" he said shacking his hand and standing up. He then looked around "Well lets check the computers" he said going over to one and starting it up. He waited for it to boot and then he typed like a mad man by normal standards but was actually just above average for him. Screens popped up one after another as he mumbled to him self the data coming up on the screen. Before long he accessed a program that activated all the computers at once and displayed various information he found on each one "lets see what we got"

The machine watched them burst through the door idly, leaving the computer to shut down as it retracted the implements in its arms. 6 arms, 6 specialist functions. He had revealed so far 3 of them, but for know was content in not revealing everything.

When the men started flinching, one of them trying to grab an invisible something, it perked up: what was going on. Then it realised what was happening: this was only in the realm of the human mind, not that of a machine. Paranormal? He could explain anything.... hallucinations from injuries? Mass hallucination from the group inhaling something?

He deployed the biological sampling kit from the relevant arm, cleaning off the worm fluid: it also doubled as a chemical analyser. Using the spectroscope built into the arm, it took a sample of air and checked. No hallucinogens in the air. What was going on then?

Most of the computers would show nothing, but one had a spinning logo on it. The logo was of a face, the left human while the right robot. There were some words on the logo, Biochemical Inc.

The man stood up and looked around. Smiling the man smiled, "thanks! You sacred her off!" The man clapped his hands while walking back in the lab, "my name is Mr. Unclean. What are you guys doing here?" Mr. Unclean grinned.

"What is this computer?"
The machine moved into the room, leaving little marks on the ground as it moved to the computer. It extended the arm with the universal interface, before plunging it into the computer casing. The screen flickered, showing a password box. Easy. The machine simply bypassed the operating system, going direct to the hard drive while still allowing images to flash up onto the screen as it moved about: very slowly, for the benefit of the humans.

"What have we got here?"

Shadow's medkit dematerialized as he walked away from it. He followed the others, his new soldier not to far behind. "So what now comrades? Obviously this place has more to it than we all originally thought." Shadow smiled, If only building could be dissected... he thought to himself.

"Well this looks like a office building, and if theres desk's and computers, theres employee's which also means theres a way in and out, if we can find what floor we are on we can get the hell out" Johan said as the password box floated on the screen.

Mr.O listlessly examined the computers, his mind far more occupied trying to understand how his team was being teleported around. If the means of their transportation could be discovered, Belkaros could benefit. He dipped a tentacle into the blood. It was human, and was indeed fresh.
"Can we bypass the password system on these consoles? We could perhaps send a request for help or at least figure out where we are with them."

"Well if we had the password we could get in right away, but since we don't we have to use the back door, every system has one, you just have to look" Johan said turning back to the computer and typing away like a mad man "Bypass main cpu..........disconnect subroutines J3 through I77" he began mumbling as he in essence hacked the computer by going around the password lock out. It would take him some time to get past it, how much depended on the complexity of the OS of the computer.

(ooc: you people don't read all the posts do you? Try looking back to my last post, and see what I am actually doing. I just don't often like being completely ignored as if what I wrote didn't happen, like has happened at least 2 times before in this RP.)

I think everyone wants dibs on computer hacking for one reason or another. I was begining to wonder why we had like 3 ppl all hacking the only computer that was apparently working in the room.

OOC: It takes time to hack you can't simply stick a tenticle in and access the hard drive correctly since the OS is on the hard, and you have to get around the OS, assuming the password is on the OS and not some other part of the system

OOC: The machine is just tapping directly into the hard drive, bypassing the OS completely. Though of course everyone will argue about this and ruin this thread (as is usual with the pretentious nature common throughout this forum), so I'll let this rest, and assume you've all ignored me as before, and wait until something interesting comes up.

OOC: An intelligent A.I. implanted in such a machine mainframe will, trust me, outdo pretty much any biological when it comes to hacking. :p

Mr. Unclean...what a strange choice of name. That's only vaguely sinister. Skyler though sarcastically, stepping inside and craning her neck to see the computer the machine was hacking. "We were in the neighborhood, thought we'd drop in, have a look around, see if there's any real estate we want to snap up before the big rush." said Kartosh dryly, hefting his rifle to rest on his shoulder

Shadow looked around the room until resting his eyes on Mr.Unclean, "Got any corpses around? I need something to do," he said pointing at the reanimated corpse that was following him around. "Yeah, I have a lot of spare time, and there doesn't seem to be a lot of other stuff to do right now." Shadow wasn't sure why a walking corpse didn't bother the rest of the rather misfit group, but that just made his life much easier, no explaining or odd looks to be expected.
