Dovenhawk nodded to Admiral Weller. "Excuse me for a moment," He muted the screen and took another call. Once again, Unit 323956 appeared. She told of the mass transportation of Berrax to the Imitators, and words of a peace treaty between Greal and the Imitators. Dovenhawk stared numbly in growing horror. "This...this is an unholy alliance!" he sputtered. "Don't they know what they're dealing with? The Imitators offered peace, and they accepted?" He shook his head wildly. "They must be run by fools and incompentants. It will only be a matter of time, now, until the Techar are just another Imitator race." He shook his head. "There's only one thing I can do. Get me in contact with Command."
XNHQ...
"Head Admiral."
"Vice Admiral Dovenhawk, you have urgent news?"
"Yes Head Admiral. I regret to inform you that the Greal government has signed a peace treaty with the Imitators permitting trade and a defense alliance, and as part of the deal they have given the Imitators over four million Berrax citizens for assimulation."
Krystal looked down, considering. "I will get into contact with the Emperor and the other Commanders. This cannot be ignored."
The meetings were long, attended by dozens of kitsune, arguing and reviewing data and speculating. Admirals, Generals, politicans, scientists and many of the like sat in rooms, convercing with each other via holograms. The Imitators were a hated race, living by killing and taking. This treaty would only serve to swell the Imitator ranks and give them new hosts and ships to use. Finally a course of action was decided on.
Formal Message to the Greal Government:
Following the treaty with the Imitators and the genocide of Berrax prisoners, the Kitsune Empire of Xiscapian withdraws it's support for the Greal Republic. The actions of the Greal government are unspeakable and crimes against nature itself. Let it be known that on this day, Year of our Lord 13 Emperor Foxfire Rose the Wise, the Kitsune Empire of Xiscapia condems the actions of the Greal government.
The Third Assault Fleet jumped out of hyperspace well outside the Nova Max system, turned around, and jumped towards a new destination.
Capitol of Greal
Ziller Remetrix and the other members of the congress laughed at the Xiscapian condemnation. The Galactic Empire was now happy that the Imitators and the Berraxs were off their back. Now they went on to bigger things.

The gray bunker building that was the XNHQ seemed to swallow the predawn light that was being cast over Rio Casa, the Xiscapian capitol. Inside, after many layers of security and several maze-like floors, was the Head Admiral's office. Up at seemingly all hours, Head Admiral Krystal slumped at her desk, half dozing. It was a pain to keep up with all the reports, and her leg was hurting worse then ever. The lack of sleep and general stress of running the Navy was taking it's toll on the young kitsune. Tommorow, or, technically, today, was to be one of her precious few days off, when her Admiral of the Fleet would take over for her temporarily. But alas, this was not to be. Straightening up as suddenly as if spoken to, Krystal typed a message. The contents dictated the Greal situation, and the destination was marked as APNHQ, or Alversian People's Naval HeadQuarters, close allies of the Xiscapians.
They would be most displeased to hear of this.
Nova Max system...
The scout ship remained cloaked, now hiding itself from the Imitators and Greali ships running though the system. Unit 323956 had strict instructions to observe trade and ships, and the Techar could do nothing about it. They knew she was out there, but exactly where they did not know, and as long as she remained in-system she could spy on them indefinitly.
Hyperspace...
Admiral Dovenhawk sat in the Command chair on the XIW Smoke. The new turn of events made him feel more depressed then ever. Friends turned to foes in an instant, millions of innocents and prisoners, slaughtered. For no reason. Xenocide was one of the Three Great Atrocities, the worse sins that a being or race of beings could commit, and that was exactly what the Techar and Imitators were doing to the Berrax.
Nova Max System
As Imitator ships were leaving, the Techar fleet looked on, looking pleased, the Berraxs may have made the Imitator's ranks bigger, but the Berraxs were gone, and so was the end to their rebellion, all that remained were 400 million prisoners of the Techars, who planned to kill them as quickly as possible....

The huge Imitator fleet lumbered along with it's cargo of Berrax, unaware of the danger that was about to be unleashed. The Techar had a small accompanying fleet, and the exact positions of the transports with the Imitated Berrax in them were given to the Third Assault Fleet. Thus the fleet appeared suddenly behind them shields raised and guns powering up. The Xiscapians had once wiped out an entire Imitator fleet in mere minutes. They didn't seek to do the same here, pinpoint accuracy and power was needed. The ships, three Battleships, two Destroyers and three Cruiser unleashed their fire, specifically targeting the ships transporting the Berrax. A huge amount of force slammed towards them, billions of joules of energy howling though the vaccum. At the same time, a message was sent to the Greal government:

APNHQ, Illesia City
Alversia
The Headquarters of the Alversian Navy was much like the rest of Illesia itself. A beautiful blend of glass, steel and stone. In front of the tall and wide building was a series of gardens and fountains that stretched for several hundred meters and surrounded by a low stone fence, patrolled by a few dozing Marines. The gardens were a rainbow of colours as Personnel from all of the Alversian Armed Forces mingled in the beautiful and peaceful surroundings of the building. It was only just after dawn but already the duties of protecting the state were being performed.
In one of the rooms within the Headquarters, the acting Grand Admiral of the APN finished one of the dozen reports that was stacked high on his desk. John Reynolds was not the Grand Admiral, the commander of the Alversian People's Navy. He was a senior Admiral sure, but the Grand Admiral had been killed in the battle with the SASM and now they were in the process of selecting a new commander.
Reynolds was meant to be Commander of the Alversian Forces on the DMZ with Danaversia and, as such, he commanded the second biggest amount of Alversian warships behind the People's Fleet. It was a job that took a phenomenal amount of patience as he had to work with his opposite number who commanded the Alumina ships on the front. Not an easy task. He had been working through the night and now he drank greedily from a cup of coffee that was perched on the edge of his desk.
There was knock on his door and as he looked up, he saw one of the Ensigns that worked in the main building enter with a new report. He groaned, although the weak, morning sunlight flooding into the office did alleviate his mood somewhat.
"Yes, Ensign?" He asked politely as he took another sip of coffee.
"An urgent message from the Xiscapian Navy, Sir. From Grand Admiral Krystal."
"I see, well then, let me see it"
The young Ensign handed the pad to the Admiral then quickly departed. John leant back in his chair as he read the report. He frowned a few time, then his mouth opened in horror as he read the final part of the report. He shook his head and picked up the Communications piece that would usually have nestled in his ear, it had been sitting on his desk but now he picked it up and tucked it into his ear,
"Sharon? Get me the Minister of Defence. I have something I think he's like to see"
Within an hour of this a message was sent across space to the Greal Republic

Head Admiral Krystal had been told of the report. She knew that, just like the Xiscapian's message, the Alversian message would be ignored. Now that the information was out there, she needed to speak with John. Personally.
Logging in, she patched though a communication hologram link to the APNHQ. When she spoke to Grand Admiral John Reynolds she would be displayed as a tiny, two inch high hologram on his desk, and he to her likewise. Her blue Head Admiral's uniform, with black stitched across it, was crisp and new-looking, even if it's wearer was not. Her black katana was slung at her side, and she idely fiddeled with the strap as she waited for the connection to go though. Reaching across hundreds of lightyears of space was not a quick or easy task.

A flicker of light appeared in John's office and he frowned at it for a few seconds until he saw the data from the projector and saw who the message was from. His own blood red tunic was pristine and new, a lone strip down the left shoulders. He stood in the right in the position and turned so that his hologram would be facing Krystal,
"Grand Admiral, good to see you again" he said with genuine warmth, "It's been a while"
Xiscapia

Krystal smiled weakly, and so did the hologram. The last time she had seen John Reynolds had been at a funeral for a Alversian killed in the SASM war, Rear Admiral Bennett, as well as his entire family, including his children.
"Grand Admiral, it has been a while. I trust you are in good health, and have received my report?"

15-03-2008, 03:21
It was John's turn to nod grimly,
"I have. This is a nasty business, Krystal, I trust you have been in contact with the Government?"

15-03-2008, 03:57
Krystal sighed as she got down to business. "That is perhaps one of the most disturbing things in the entire matter. The Galactic Empire of Greal is headed by a human President, one Rollins Dallix. When Vice Admiral Dovenhawk spoke to him about the mass murder of civilians, the President said he would do his best to stop them. However, even as he said so another nuke launched and struck a city, killing millions. It was then that the Vice Admiral realized the President was a puppet, a fake head of state to hide the real power: The Senate. Greal's population is overwhelmingly Techar, eighty percent of the population, with humans as six percent and Berrax as the remaining thirteen, with one percent as various aliens. The Techar are sentient descendants of the common ant and housefly, but they are not a collective, all individuals, and have no queen. Strangely, the Berrax look exactly like xenomorphs, but are also sentient and unbound by a queen, possessing none of the mindless brutality of the xenomorphs we know. But I digress. Humans are the wealthiest and most influential of the Greal races, and most of the rich, Admirals and Generals and Commanders in the armed forces are humans. However, the Techar essentially control the government, doing what the Techar, not the humans or the Berrax, want. The Government has entirely ignored our message, but we have no word on their response to our declaration of war. the Imitators and the Techar have opened trade with each other, and their first shipment was several million Berrax to the Imitators. Even now a fleet is attempting to recover the last of the Berrax before they are assimilated. But I fear we are too late: Only four million Berrax remain on Nova Max, their home planet. The rest have either been killed in the war or been taken by the Imitators. Their race is almost extinct."
Alversia
15-03-2008, 04:03
John listened to the report in horror and shook his head when it ended,
"Are Berrax open to negotiation? It may be necessary to land a few Regiments to secure their safety. How willing would they be to be evacuated from the planet altogether if their situation became untenable?" Alversia could not watch this and allow it to continue. They had proven before that they were willing to die for other race's freedom and it had earned them respect across the galaxy. Now they would be ready to do it again.
Xiscapia
15-03-2008, 04:09
Krystal shook her head sadly. "We do not know. All communications have been jammed or destroyed, we cannot make contact. We beleive many of the prisoners on Nova Max are civilians, and the Techar plan to execute them. Only four million out of a population that used to number in the billions. Our scout will land and attempt to rally the prisoners to escape, or at least hold out until friendly forces arrive. We must save them. It must be our primary objective, otherwise all is lost for the Berrax. How soon can you assemble your forces? We already have a fleet en route, but they will need back-up."
OOC: Gotta go.
Alversia
15-03-2008, 16:57
Reynolds thought for a few moments as he ran through in his mind all the ships and Forces that would be available for such a mission. After a while he nodded a few times,
"We have a small part of the People's Fleet in the area on exercises. If you want, I could divert them to provide assistance. The Army will take longer to mobilise I'm afraid" He said grimly, "And the forces number only a dozen ships"
Xiscapia
15-03-2008, 22:49
"That amount is larger then the fleet we currently have there, a mere ten ships, and one is non-combatent anyway, with two companies of mecha and a brigade of XGA infantry. The forces were sent expecting to aide, not to fight an entire war by themselves. Unfortunatly, until the Rebellion matter is solved, we cannot divert more ships or troops. Send your fleet if you can Admiral. Time is running out."
Even as Krystal spoke she typed without looking with her other hand, orders to go to Dovenhawk to be relayed to Unit 323956.
Nova Max system...
The scout ship hung just outside of orbit of Nova Max, watching and recording the traffic in the system. Unit 323956 directly accessed her uplink with the ship as the orders came though. The scout powered up and, still cloaked, dove though the atmosphere towards where the android knew the last of the Berrax were being held.
The Berraxs were being herded together by Techar battle robots and Techar troops dressed in suits. They were heading to Techar ships that would take them back to the prisons on the moons. The Berraxs looked depressed by all that happened to them, they had suffered Imitator attacks, nuclear attacks, and Techar troops shooting them if they refuse to walk.

While not really powerful, the lasers could blow infantry apart and do a significant amount of damage to ships under gunboat size, specifically fighters. The scouts weren't fighters, but they were close enough. At the same time the ship appeared to rain little metal balls onto the ranks of the Techar. When they hit they popped open and were revealed to be tiny spider-like robots (http://www.quantumcathedral.com/images/SPIDERBOT207.jpg), each armed with a triple repeating blaster on their backs. While generally ineffective against any kind of sheilding, and only armor penetrating at extremely close range, the bots scaled Techar soldiers, blasting them at point-blank range as they scurried. Several hundred were unleashed, crawling between the legs of the Techar and blasting them from the ground, or stubbornly latching on and shooting a soldier until he toppled. A single shot from most any weapon would destroy them, but the robots were fast and unpredictable, as well as deadly if they could get in a shot in a critical area, and absolutly lethal if they ganged up on a single soldier.

One of the few Xscpian imitators ever in the Alliance sat in the brig of one of the ship's transports. She was dressed in Imitator armor that was styled for her race. It was a chrome plated, sleek and tight Samuri suit that she wore, her hair was dyed teal and she had lost her katana( a common imitator made one) and her plasm-ray rifle. They had somehow managed to get a very few Xiscapian and Alversian Imitators, how they did not know. The number of Imitators from the Allies could be counted on one hand, nearly all of them having been killed at the battle for the Anibet colony, also known as the Haven Conflict. There the Imitators had landed an agent who had swiftly infected the entire population of the colony, some eighty thousand Alversians and Xiscapians. A XIW Cruiser had investigated and called upon a small fleet, led by the heros from the SASM war, none other then the halfbreeds Sasha and Ashe. There they had wiped out the Imitators, destroying them with less then two dozen combined casualties. But eighty thousand innocent men, women, children, kits and kitsune had lost their lives because of the Imitators. The Empire had secretly degreed that any and all Imitators were to be destroyed on contact.

This Xiscapian had been one of the ones at the infamous battle of Haven, but as an Imitator, not a XGA soldier. She had been one of the ones manning the communications post during the attack, a prime target for the Imitators as they did not want anyone calling for help. She was not recognized, of course, anyone who knew her was probably dead, but she was, nevertheless, a soldier. The Marines regarded her silently, watching.

Luckily, the Techars were not marching in lines , but they were separated and the Berraxs panicked at the sight of the foreign ships, and Techar troops began opening fire, even though some were already taken down by the robots. Suddenly, as the sky was full of the Alversian ships, the Techar troops bolted away, as a Techar fleet appeared. It was the main battle fleet of 1 Mobias Class Super Battleship and a hundred other ships. It sent a message to the Alversian ships.
"Intruders, may we ask why are you in Techar space?"

Unit 323956 watched as the Techar scattered, obviously distressed by the arrival of the Alversian fleet. Her sensors had picked up the fleet's appearance, and now also told her of a huge Techar fleet, most of their Navy, had entered the system. They had very little time. There was too many Berrax, they couldn't hope to transport them all, not with the fleet they had here. Still hovering over the Berrax and a few dead Techar soldiers, the scout broadcasted via loudspeaker in Common to the Berrax:
"Berrax, we are here to save you. You must escape into the countryside of this planet and hide. Do not go to any cities or military bases. Follow this ship!"
The little spider bots were relentlessly pursuing the fleeing Techar soldiers, about three hundred swarming over the land. They would buy the time needed for the Berrax to escape. The Alversian fleet was a battle fleet, full of warships, not a colony or transport fleet, which was what was needed to transport the surviving Berrax. But even a dozen Alversian ships couldn't possibly hope to fight off over a hundred Techar ships.

The Alversian fleet turned to face the Techar fleet. They so heavily outnumbered it was ridiculous. Of the dozen Alversian ships, only four could be relied upon to hold a battle line, the three Dreadnoughts and one Battlecruiser. While APN Training, their advanced ships and powerful weapons would allow them to take at three enemy ships on at once and win, this was ridiculous. Even the most advanced ship would still be outgunned by a superbattleship.

The engines in the fifty transports rumbled as they moved out. The monsterious ships had been fully captured, and now that they were out of Imitator hands something useful could be done with them. Before jumping, however, the vent systems used to eject Imitator cells into prisoners were located. The cells were destroyed and replaced with the anti-Imitator biological agent the Xiscapians had developed. They "gassed" the prisoner Imitators, the gray, smokish substance sprawing over them, killing all those it contacted instantly and washing the strange Imitator symbiotes from the host bodies. All that was left after the process was a corpse, which were flushed out into space, left to drift eternally in the cold void. The vaccated space would be used to transport the Berrax on Nova Max.
If the fleet could get there in time.
Fifty transports added and no battle casualties, the Xiscapian Third Assault Fleet jumped.

Berraxs were running everywhere, some panicked and bolted for the tunnels underground, while others ran after the Techars. Some heard the scout ship's message and headed after the ship.
The Admiral was more and more aware of the events. A Alversian fleet was right in Techarian space, and they can't even pull out in the face of a Massive Techar fleet.

Negative, I see your moving the Destroyers into position. Save them in case there's a fight, if a battle breaks out the Berrax are doomed anyway. Conserve your forces, Admiral.
The scout herded the Berrax in the opposite direction of the waiting Techar transports, a flood of black and red xenomorph-like bodies washing across the volcanic landscape. The transports would need to come in fast to transport the Berrax. Unit 323956 noted the scouts which had been attacking her had vanished as quickly as they had come, probably up into space to join the Techar fleet.

Unit 323956 considered. The Berrax had no weapons, they couldn't help her, and she couldn't call on the Alversians for assistance. The scout was no match for a dozen fighters, it could outfight two, maybe three in the hands of the android, but not a dozen. The Dreadnoughts could certainly out-gun anything in the Greal fleet but not in the numbers that were here. The Admiral was desperately trying to buy time. If the Greal Admiral was smart and wanted to avoid a full on war with the People's Republic and her allies, he would play by the rules of diplomacy.

The Alversian fleet turned heel and darted towards the Xiscapian fleet. It was heavier than their own vessels and hopefully, both combined would be enough to ensure they held on until the survivors could be loaded. The Alversian Destroyers swept through the lower atmosphere, generating earthquakes with her bulk but also beaming aboard groups of Berrax who were too far away from the transports. Meanwhile, outside the planet's atmosphere, the Alversian fleet now deployed alongside their counterparts, still protected by a line of fighters between them and the Greal Fleet.
The Admiral snorted and sent a message to the Greal,

He was also quite muscular and he wore the blood red tunic of the APN with golden clasps on each shoulder to indicate his rank. He looked at the Greal and smiled
"Nice to see you again" He said cheerfully.

Ambassador Si nodded to his fellow diplomats. "Let's get down to business, shall we? First and formost, the situation concerning the Berrax. The Empire, and I think I can speak for the People's Republic as well when I say this," he nodded to Admiral Collins, "disapproves, to put it mildly, the actions taken against Berrax civilians and Prisoners of War. Mass executions and some four million handed over to the Imitators. This is a direct violation of the commonly accepted Rules of War, stating that civilians, prisoners and non combatants are to be treated well enough that they can survive and not, specifically, killed at the hands of their captors or occupiers."

Ambassador Si strongly disbeleived the Techar's statement about only half of the Berrax wanting independence. If only half truely did want it, then the Loyalists would have been scurrying as fast as they could to friendly Techar worlds, to escape the Imitators and Techar reprisals. Instead, almost the entire Berrax population remained on Nova Max. Or they had, anyway, before the genocide.
"Ambassador," he said, addressing Sider Remetrix, "which do you think is worth more? A world, and it's resources, or the lives of billions? Because up to this point, your actions say that you consider the Berrax little more then animals, to be exterminated. The Techar at this moment remind me unpleasantly, but strongly, of another race, known as the North Calaverans. The Calaverans also sought to destroy others who were not like them, and they also dealed with the Imitators. Do you know what happened to them, Ambassador? They lost their entire armada and their homeworld, and the number of Calaverans left in the galaxy numbers is in the four digits, at most. Because of the Imitators, mainly, but also because they continued to wage a xenophobic war against many aliens. If you invite the Imitators into your household, and you continue to persecute the Berrax for the crime of not being born a Techar or human, then the same will happen to you. Your species is traveling down the road of destruction, Ambassador. Will you reverse it, or will you speed up your doom all the more?"
Ambassador Si spoke passionatly. All the Xiscapians knew of what happened to the Calaverans, and the events here were disturbingly similiar. If the Techar found it in themselves to commit xenocide against the Berrax, the worst crime a species as a whole can possibly make, then what was stopping them from deciding that other species, like the kitsune, needed exterminating too?

Backed by our Third Assault Fleet, which consists of three Battleships, two Destroyers, three Battlecruisers, one Medical ship and one Carrier, plus the Alversian fleet of two C-1 Class Dreadnoughts, five Cruisers and five Destroyers. This makes our total count four Battleships, two Dreadnoughts, nineteen Cruisers, seven Destroyers, three Carriers, three Hospital ships and two mine laying craft, plus however many small craft are supported as well as assault transports and support ships. That's around thirty five capitals we can use to attack the planet's fleet as well as destroy any starbase or orbital space stations there. Our most recent intelligence from Celestis reports that they have from ten to thirty ships as a defense fleet. They will not be expecting the attack, which gives us the advantage of being able to plan in length. Once Celestis has fallen we will need to completly secure it and to do that we must use our anti-Imitator biological agent. We have the agent, but not nearly enough of it to saturate an entire planet, nor the means to do so. Do you have a way of manufacturing and transporting the chemical?" Dovenhawk had had doubts from the beginning about the Empire's involvment in this matter, and he was beginning to feel uneasy. He did not like working with the Techar, for obvious reasons due to apparent unjustified xenophobia of Berrax, their apparent incapability to assume leadership roles and the plain, ugly fact that they looked for all the galaxy like giant, talking bugs.

"Then, Admiral, take all the time you need. There is no rush, but keep your eyes and ears open on your own planets. The AIW could attack at anytime, and now that they know the Empire and the Republic are involved, things could get messy. We will assist you as much as possible." Dovenhawk bowed, then cut the connection.
Arcadia Omega...
Above the tiny, rocky, airless world a scout ship appears, cloaked and facing the planet. Five AA guns were on the surface, but the colony would not know it was being attacked until it was far too late. The bio dome was the destination, holding some three battle cars, a tank and fourty Marines, as well as a number of civilians and buildings. The purpose of this colony was unknown, perhaps as an outpost. Isolated from the other AIW worlds, isolated from the rest of the galaxy, this was a perfect place for a small attack. Unit 323956 was prepared for battle, and she ran a system check on last time as the scout decended to the surface.

ARCADIA OMEGA
It was quiet on the small rocky world. Some Alliance Marines were on the surface unloading supplies from the last shipment, and bringing them into the dome. The AA disks sat there, having not been used once. Inside the dome, was a small modern equivlent to a village.

Floating up the the side of the dome, the scout released a tiny probe. The probe floated forward to the side of the dome and latched on, a tiny red, blinking light showing from the middle. The scout manuvered away to a safe distance. Five seconds later the scout decloaked, under the range of the AA weapons, and opened fire with it's lasers on the loading bay of the bio dome. Simultaniously the probe detonated with the force of a normal ship-to-ship missile, hopefully blowing a huge hole in the side to expose the interior to vaccumm. Of course, the colony probably had measures in place against exposure killing everyone inside, but Unit 323956 was looking to create panic and confusion in the biologicals, making it easier for her to destroy them when the time came.

Emergency force fields coverd the dome from the outside, Colony marines ran outside to investigate, they saw the dead marines at the loading bay. The battlecars and Tank rolled out of the dome and the AA guns began to open up.

Unit 323956 ejected from her ship, landing on top of the tank, the multiple tons of android weight crumpling the top to expose the crew inside as she fell in. Her cold droid face showed no emotion, her eyes dead, never alive, as she readied for close combat. The scout continued to fly on it's own, controlled by a semi-sentiant A.I. which would fire on the AA weapons until either they were destroyed or it was. Peeling downward, it shot lasers at the nearest AA gun.

Unit 323956 tracked the shots as they went wild, rising from the broken wreckage of the tank then locked on to her targets. She made a graceful jump onto the roof of the battlecar, three hundred and sixty degree vision watchful for any soldiers that might pop out of it to shoot her. As she scanned the ground in front of her she put a fist though the battlecar's rocket laucher, destroying it as the metal crushed. Her shoulders split to reveal two miniguns, each one choosing a Calaveran, and opened fire with a dozen shots a second blazing at them. The scout carefully danced around the blasts, too quick for the AA tracking, and continued to fly strafing runs on the guns.

The planets defence bomber/fighter squadron now flew to intercept this threat, they began to approach from a rocky moon next to the planet. The two Calaverians were torn apart, and they quickly froze from space. More boots could be seen running out of the bio-dome, Marines poured out rising there rifles, aiming and firing fully automatic. Two more AA turrets fell to the attacking scout ship.

Unit 323956 coldy assessed the situation. Plasma fire hit her, but it merely tore away chunks of the android's outer skin, exposing shiny silver metal underneth. The miniguns retracted and she turned and leapt over to the next battle car in line, tearing open the hatch and dropping inside to the startled crew. Plasma hit the side of the vehicle, and Unit 323956 looked at the Imitator crew, hands up for hand-to-hand combat. The scout took note of the approaching force, and made to destroy the last two AA as fast as possible.
The Greal 4th fleet got ready for the battle, it took a day to assemble support vessels, and the whole fleet. Then, it took another few hours, to power itself with crystals (The Techars use a special kind of Crystal to power ships). Now the fleet was ready, its first target was Alpha Pegasus, one of the colonies of the Imitators. The fleet jumped into the Alpha Pegasus system and preapred to raze it from the ground.

The few Alliance craft that were in the air were obliterated, as were the defense as the missles slammed into the turrets sending metal spliters in all directions, the thousands of Imitators looked at the sky, as did the soldiers, they all looked up without emotion as the missles came there way. The Imitators closed there eyes and repeated the following " United is our cause, United is our people, equal in our actions, equal in our thoughts, equal in our goals. We are the Alliance and we stand strong, although our bodys disappear from the objects in the sky, we will adapt and survive with unity comes harmony..." the nuclear assault connected with the world, as the imitators were blown by the concussion then vaporized. The colony was little more than abonded building with yellow tint on them, ashes of vaporized imitators were on the walls of them. All over the world the same scene was played dramatically, the light, then the thunder of the Empire.
The fleet nuked the planet one more time then left for Aquarius Maximus, they did the same thing there, the battleships would wipe out any resistance. While they nuke the planet.

"We'll get them for this and we'll be ready to play our part in the war" she tenderly said as a tear ran down her face. She was new to the Alliance but she had felt and heard their last words so clearly.

The imitators welcomed the challenge as they deployed there claws, mandibles ands spines, they jumped at her.
Unit 323956 was a machine, unable to become infected and almost immune to blunt damage. So as the three Imitators launched themselves at her she dove right in, her left metal fist smashing one of them in the face, knuckles tearing apart flesh and driving into the brain. With her right foot she sweeped low, taking one off his feet to the floor, applying pressure to his chest with her foot, making it cave in, her foot sinking though his chest and out his back, crushing his heart. The last one was all over her, fluids splattering and claws raking at her armor, so she grabbed him in a bear hug and squeezed until he literally popped, exploding blood and guts all over the interior. Not wasting a second, she tugged her foot out of the Imitator's chest, her fist out of the other's skull, and went to the controls. The missile lauchers on the battle car swiveled and fired a volly of air-to-air missiles at the fighters and bombers chasing the scout, which had destroyed the last two AA, but was under heavy fire from it's pursuers.

I've seen big rocks like that before. We can't afford to lose a weapons testing and training base although so keep an eye out for enemy cloaked ships Ari projected back with a little smile on her face.
She tapped into the group unity to pull up the information on the planet. It had its own assigned fleet but with war concerns she knew that state of affairs could change quite easily.
Spotting a cloaked ship was quite hard as she knew but most needed to decloak to fire.
North Calaveras
26-03-2008, 22:43
The fleet circled around Ares, and Patterson was checking on fleet conditions, all was well and sound, they continued to Balder 8, they would patrol all the way to the Motherworld, then after there patrol was complete another fleet would repalce them and they would take another defensive position.
Neo Kirisubo
26-03-2008, 22:49
Ares was secure so they continued onto the swamp world of Balder 8. Each Alliance world had a speciality so each one was vital.
Ari was gaining more experience on the bridge and learning more and more yet she pondered the age of problem as the patrol continued.
How do you spot a cloaked ship?

"I've been able to picture it from what I've seen through others eyes but it will be good to get there.
You never forget the planet you grew up on although. Kirisubo Primus is a tropical paradise with white sand beaches and coral green seas. Thats as well as plentiful jungles" she cheerfully replied as she was relaxed but still alert to possible enemy actions.
North Calaveras
26-03-2008, 23:15

Neo Kirisubo
26-03-2008, 23:27
"I've never seen an ice world first hand before but my old home would be an ideal Alliance world if that is its fate" Ari replied picking up on Zorg's thoughts.
She thought about it so Zorg could 'see' for himself. It was only fair since she had his description of Cryartica.
"Kirisubo Beta is exactly the same. We have twin homeworlds but no colonies. There's enough space on both worlds so we don't need to expand outwards" she added thinking about the times she had with friends on beach bars once she came of age at 16.
There had been plenty of chances during their officer training to enjoy girls nights out.
North Calaveras
26-03-2008, 23:30
Zorg smiled " Twin worlds you say, one day we will offer them unity, unless we arent taken from this existance during our time of battle." he buzzed. No doubt the war on its way would be brutal " You do realize we are facing odds that favor the enemy."
Neo Kirisubo
26-03-2008, 23:44
"The odds may favour the Greal for now but war is unpredictable. The winners are the ones which handle their ships the best, use their troops and resources best and hurt the enemies manufacturing and supply lines the most.
We're more likely to win a long haul war anyway since we can infect their worlds and deny them to the Greal. Thus bringing them into unity eventually" she gently replied looking at a display on the command chair. The scanners were patched through to this chair and on the tiny screen she could see what was ahead of them. Clear space for now.

Patterson had gotten the reports of two colony's vaporized by Imperial nuclear attack's. A third colony was being hit by the Xscapians, it would know doubt fall before they could send any kind of help.

The suprise missle volley smacked into the contact fighters and bombers as the Battlecar locked onto multiple targets, able to fire at more than one fighter at a time, the sky lit up from the blue seeking missles. The Battlecar was being sent messages. " Stop engagement, we are being hit by our freindly fire, cease fire.....cease fire."
If Unit 323956 could have smiled, or had the capacity for predatory happiness, she would have displayed both. Instead her scanners registered that the fighters and bombers had been utterly destroyed, the missile attack by their former ally having annhiliated them before they knew what had hit them. The Battlecar was much too close to the bio dome for it's artillery rockets to be effective, so Unit 323956 punched a hole in the side and stepped out, totally unaffected by the lack of oxygen. The scout flew circles around the dome, all enemies destroyed for now. The rest of the operation would be up to Unit 323956, to enter and eliminate all Imitators and destroy the colony. Turning to face the loading bay, she walked forward with unfeeling, deadly determination

Imitators turned to face her, they were all quiet until they turned to there combat modes, they hissed at her, seeing her as machine, they would only destroy, no assimilation attempts. Even people working, chopping meat at the butchter changed and ran out there doors, seeing the android.

By this point Unit 323956's attack protocal programs came into effect. The minifguns in her shoulders were revealed once again, but her entire chassis split down the middle with an electronic whine to reveal a large cannon, the head and torso renting in two, along with a heavy machine gun and rocket laucher. Hole appear in her knees, actually concealed, built-in pistols, and a stock of six grenades are stowed about her person. Now more of a walking war machine than a kitsune, the weaponry opens fire on the Imitators, a storm of fire usually associated with heavy attack vehicles flying at them.

The masses of imitators charged, and many were being mowed down by fire, a couple jumped out of building windows towards her, claws out. The streets were already litterd with dead imitators.
Again the screams sounded throughout the Alliance, another mass of lives perished, there brains severd from existance and unity, the AIW was fully aware of the Empires inentions of genocide, they would meet there enemy when seen feet, her colony's may have been destroyed but her worlds still stand strong, ready to bring fire upon her killers.
The next planet was Aries, this time the 3rd fleet would do the job.

Unit 323956 did not worry about the Imitators jumping out of buildings to her, her main danger and concern lay with the massive tide of the enemy that threatened to overwhelem her. The miniguns independently targeted the dropping Imitators and took them out in midair, flinging their corpses back to their brothers. Unit 323956 now moved forward, weapons continuing to blaze into the suicidal parasites. Her main goal was to find the atmospheric control center and depressurize the dome, killing all those inside. Finally she would plant charges to collapse the dome onto itself, finishing the job.

Ari also mentally received the word and as battle raged the Alliance was being kept informed by the imitators on the colony. By now she was learning a lot about the Unforgiveable's systems something a command officer had to know.
The Unforgiveable was too far away but Ari hoped there would be another Alliance ship or fleet closer by.
Pondering this report with the attack being made by an combat android rather than by the more normal way showed her the Xiscapian's had other means to attack their worlds.
They would have to be just as cunning when they struck. She doubted she'd be carrying out the raid her Commander had mentioned but she had a few ideas already when it came to raids.
A way that would be a lot more efficient than the usual Alliance battle plan.

The fifty Imitator cargo ships, having offloaded their Berrax cargo, now turned and jumped for parts unknown, leaving the Third Assault Fleet behind.
The Greal fleet attacked Aries, using the same tactics as the last battles.

The missing carg ships from Nova Max turned to Auto pilot, they would head through hyperspace to Cryoarctica.
Ares
The fleet was expecting an attack soon, and they were prepared as best as they could for the coming assault. Reinforcements were also nearby. The Same tactics were not as successful as the Alliance fleet opend fire upon her enemy's, although the enemy fleet was larger, they would inflict moderate casualtys, the nukes that they sent to the planet below were being blown apart by AA disk fire. Ares planetary guns also opend fire into orbit at the attacking imperialists. This war would not go unanswerd by the Alliance.
Arcadia Omega
The controls were not hard to find, they were simply set up around the town hall. But there were still imitators rushing at her from houses and apartments. Some armed with Plasma-ray pistols firing towards her, trying to protect this world from its intruder.

The change of course was noticed by the pilots. They disabled the autopilot and set them back to manuel, heading for their original destination. Must have been some kind of fail-safe program.
Arcadia Omega...
Unit 323956 scanned the town hall, wondering what possible use it could have. If the rumors were true, and the Imitators were actually an unruled collective, then would possible use could such a thing have? She shot the Imitators as they came at her, stepping inside the control room, unresponsive as the plasma shots hit the room and Imitators snarled towards her. Typing, the jacked in, hacked the system, and commanded it to emergency depressurze the dome. It would warn those inside, of course, but only to evacuate immediatly, and Unit 323546 had destroyed their only means of transport.

The imitators knew there fate was near, they just stood eyes closed, waiting for space to take them away. They would die, yes, but there deaths would not be in vain, the Alliance would continue and with that they died content.

The dome depressurized and the Imitators imploded, floating without gravity, mangled and twisted. Unit 323956 walked back out to the hole, past the shattered homes and levitating bodies. She calmly placed three charges around the hole, then called her scout ship. She boarded it and lifted off, and only once she was above the planet did she detonate the charges. There was no explosion or burst of light, but she saw the dome crumble in on itself and knew that the AIW colony of Arcadia Omega was finished.
Such a successfully destructive attack preformed against thirteen fighters, a tank, three battlecars and an entire city of Imitators made by a single combat android would catch the eyes of military commanders.

OCC: reply to me in Unexpected company.
Indeed, the android was a real threat to the AIW as of this. Future involvment with her would prove to be much more difficult for the Xscapians. No help could have been sent to this colony. Xscapia could certainly hope to pay for her actions.

The Greal fleet fired it massive Super megabolt cannons, it could destroy Capital ships in a single shot. Hell Fire torpedoes were fired at the enemy ships, the Greal fleet fired thousands of plasma warheads, nukes, and hell fire torpedoes at the ground.

As the 'Unforgiven' continued its patrol the new N-K members of the Alliance continued to settle in and learn the ropes.
Chise Nakamura finding herself in the 32nd Alliance marines who were onboard found herself issued with slightly different armour than her much taller colleagues. Her long hair had also been bobbed but she wore a chrome flak jacket which gave a lot more protection than it looked but a lot of mobility given her size and slenderness.
She also received matching chrome vambraces (arm guards) and greaves (leg guards) and the standard issue closed over helmet that was issued to humans, the reason why her hair needed cut. She also received the standard weapon and sidearm given she was light infantry. A speciality might follow later but she was a marine for now.
Asami Abe found herself getting used to an Alversian designed shuttlecraft in a VR room, Emi Kobayashi was learning Alliance engineering methods from Merker and Ayumi Hamasaki was working with Dr Jun Kitagawa and her two nurses.
These four women would be the first doctors and medics in the Alliance but they did already have medical supplies to start them off. As they had all kept their memories they knew what they needed to eventually design and build (or obtain) to make their lives easier. Medical scanners, hypo sprays and laser scapels. Tools they'd taken for granted in their old life.

Key Fact: weapons testing: space marine training center.
Seeing as most of the fire that was put at them was directed to the planet's surface, no doubt Greal liked to glass worlds. The Fleets AA fire soley concentrated on missles coming at them, and at the planet. Main weapons fire erupted from the Alliance, as plasma-rays and Plasma-nukes and torpedoes flooded towards the Imperials. A scavenger buckled from the megabolt cannon, and exploded in two. The Alliance would make a stand at there first world, and they damn sure wouldnt let any Imperial come near any Motherworld unless they were in unity......or a bodybag.
One of the Lasom Class Frigates were destroyed by the attack of the plasma rays, the battleships fired hundreds of anti-matter torpedoes from its holds at the enemy ships
