they danced the night away, George was home, in the same club of his youth, only now with the woman he loved dancing to music as old as time itself...the was paradise, after a great night of dancing George finally realized that Nic had took the limo back, and left them there...

"Oh no, looks like we are stranded."

George smiled, "well do you mind a nice walk downtown at night?"

"With you, it's the best thing. I'm curious how often does it rain here?"

rain..hmm that is a random question, well, a lot...thats the best way to describe it...offically i think like umm 90 days of the year or something like that, how else do you think we get such lush vegetation, well outside the cities anyways

"I should have guessed with how green it is. This place it feels like home so much."

"even with the large cities and traffic and mobs of people?"

"Well take that out of the equation and it would."

well i would say why not take a stroll in the jungle, but we still got guerillas out there, not as bad as they were when i lived here. But the MPA and Livertad still fight it out...not to mention there is no way to walk to the jungle from here.

"Hmm that's a shame, I'm starting to yearn for the jungles."

they made it back to main street, they turned towards the capital complex which was still another 3 miles, long enough for a good walk and maybe call a cab if need be. Looking down Main street you could see the mountains and on top was a giant cross, and around it stood seven soldiers in various positions, all made from stone.

"ahh the civil wars monument. One soldier stands for every civil war that claimed over a million lives. No leader is ever immortalized on there, just the fallen boys who died for what they believed...you would think we would learn. I remember it used to be 16 soldiers, but those were bombed by Urcea in the war when they firebombed the capital. What we would give for peace"

"Wow. I feel the same way about those that lost their lives on our islands."

they walked on...listening to the sounds off a busy city pass them by, soon they passed by the park, a large 2 arce area dedicated to the city by the third president of Mokastan, before the unification.

"this would be better lets relax in here"

"It's so peaceful in here."

"of course it is, that is the beauty of this park, no matter how bad things get, people could always come here and relax."

he held his wife close as they walked on through the night

They walked on through the night back to their hotel. Shino soon undressed and nursed Marcella. She looked over at George who was lying down on the bed and smiled at him. "Yes your such a good baby."

"that she is, I love you beautiful"

he bent down and kissed his wife and his child, his wife a little longer...

"ready for bed amor?"

"All set. Good night my Princess." She kissed Marcella's forehead and climbed into bed with her husband. Fairly an unusual for her. She had grown so accustomed to sleeping on the floor or in hammocks. One thing that never changed was her lack of clothing. She always slept naked it was natural for her.

The night was pleasant for a while till Shino began tossing and moaning from a nightmare. Her memories of captivity were coming back to her. She shot up in a cold sweat.

George felt his wife tossing and turning, one of the side effects of being a Jaguar was that you never got a deep sleep again. he held his wife as she tossed and turned and then when she shot up he was shocked...

"Baby, baby come here...."

Shino cuddled up close. "Bad dream." She said simply.

"what was it about?"

he held her close and comforted her against his chest...apperently he wasnt the only one with bad dreams...he just hid his better

"It was about my captivity. I still have nightmares about my time spent in that jail. Sorry to be so high maitence for you. With nightmares and my fright of thunder."

"your anything but high maitence, it's ok"

he held her tight,

"we both have horrible memories of our past...."

he trailed off remembering his own...but that was then this is now...

"It seems we do. I love you so much and I'm happy I'm here and not there."

"of course, lets go back to sleep amor"

Shino drifted off to sleep saftley in his warm embrace

George did the same, the benefit of light sleep was at least minimizing the dreams he had...however if he could sleep again he would embrace it with open arms...

Shino awoke early, to nurse Marcella. She set the baby down kissing her. "Who's my girl? You are." Shino dressed in a blouse and denim skirt and opened the drapes.

george woke up and stretched, it wasn't the best night, but nothing bad. he walked over to his wife, gave her a morning kiss and went on to get ready for the day...

"Morning. What will be doing today?"

im thinking we should just lie in bed all day, that sounds like a great idea...

and with that George fell back down into the bed and relaxed

"Hmm...If you like, I want to see more of Mokostana. I'll take the baby along. You can stay if you like I don't mind. Perhaps on a more rainy day we'll stay in bed together."

George got up and stretched,

"ok then, whatever you want baby, there is a lot to see, let me call nic and get us an escort. How much of the country do you want to see? All of Mokan Island,the surrounding areas, or a National tour?'

"A national tour sounds wonderful!"

"I was kidding baby, it would take months to do that...well not months, but a while...how long do you want to stay in Mokastana. Ohh your new flag was hung up this morning at the embassy complex if you wanted to stop by and grace it with your beautiful presence" he kissed his wife again and again...

"Oh." She laughed. "I'm an island girl, I'm used to being able to travel the islands within a day. Let's see all the great sights. Really is our flag haning? Can we pass by there please?"

"yes its in the paper, under International section, they always have something going on in the embassy complex. Remember though Mokastana has i think, 1.5 Billion citizens, we are everywhere it seems....umm what sites are left....we'll start from there, so how long did you want to stay baby"

"Might as well spend the day out there."

"to the embassy complex i guess, whenever we get i ready..."

"I'm so excited to see it. I'm very anxious."

he called the president palace and got a limo to the hotel...

"It will be here in a few minutes."

"Wonderful, I can hardly wait."

George held his wife and kissed her as she took care of Marcella...

" I love you, so after the embassy complex then where shall we go?"

"Any place you would like to show me? Perhaps where you grew up?"

George winced at the idea at first, but brushed it off...

"umm...Sure we can see part of it, but first let's get to the Embassy complex, the Limo will meet us downstairs in a few minutes..."

"Well, shall we start walking down then?"

Of course..."


They went down the to main lobby of the hotel and there was the chaffer waiting for them.

"Thank you," Shino said to the chauffeur as she climbed into the car.
