Cavourna came into the bar, having given up looking for the Chief Engineer. It was late and he could do the tests tomorrow. What he needed now was a drink. And a big one too. He went to the barman, "Do you have any Vodka? highest proof youv'e got" He poured the shot glassful down his throat and felt better as the burning sensation came to his mouth. He looked around and noticed the man who kept avoiding him with the other creature that had asked him a question in the middle of the gunfight. He went over to them "mind if I join you?"

"I want a few of the Aquamarinians you have serving in your sickbays. Not more than three or four total." Dr, Tot said.

Without anyone realising what happened, Khalan used a low grade healing spell on Natalie. In the morning, she would awaken to discover she was feeling so good that under diffrent circumstances it would be cause for suspicions.

Hugh finally dropped away from the ship. He was covered in filth and grime, but he was smiling.He had improved the ship by a lot, but there was a mess on the floor. Old wiring, broken and cracked armor plates littered the floor. Hugh sighed and began the slow process of cleaning up.

They were looking for trouble. They thought they could just take over and rule whatever they wanted, and what they wanted, was this station. They were running from the Government of course, and one could run from The Emperor only so long.

They sat with a man they decided was going to be their new friend. They guy looked scared. He was just a civilian, living on the station. His wife was going to be a nurse in the medbay. He didn't want any trouble.

Manu got up from the bar and went to his room. After a quick glance around he lay down on his bed. He couldn't help but feel that something was off. He glanced around once more. He listend intently. He looked at his nightstand and at the holopic of the woman sitting on it.

He still couldn't shake the ominous feeling. He checked under his bed and...

A second later he was diving through the doorway, clutching the holopic, just as an explosion echoed through the station. He dived against the wall as a wave of fire burst through his open doorway.

Someone on the ship wanted him dead.

Anthony waited patiently near his ship in Hanger 2 waiting for his escort to whoever was in charge. Protocols demanded he introduce himself and to get the details about the Embassy and not assume he could have unlimited staff or guards.

The first meeting would determine everything but he was not nervous or impatient. He hoped there was a separate dock attached to his embassy to make access to The Sagan easier than going through the port every time they needed something aboard the ship.

If there was not, he would just have to make do.

Walking up Victor could see Anthony waiting, he took a moment to make sure that his uniform was order in before introducing himself. Sure that every thing was in order he made his way over.

He shouted but the man just rammed him into a metal cabinet nearby, temporarily stunning him. He got up and called security, whilst rubbing his back "Security!, we have an armed suspect on the loose in the lower levels! Send backup now!". HE made to run after him

Dan had been at the bar for about 20 minutes, talking with the bar tender and other people. Then a man sat down beside looked at and said "So your from the PLANTs?" Dan dd not even look at him "yes I am" he said. The man put his hand in his pocket "So then your a Coodinator?" he asked "yes I am" Dan said "What are you getti....." before dan could finish his sentence the man pulled a knife from his pcoket and stabbed Dan "For a Blue and Pure World you bast*rd" he said before running off. the bar tender called security and the medical centre calling for assistance because some one had been stabbed. Dan thankfully had been sedated, so he heard none of this.

Ti rekas was a common enough poison, but difficult to counter if not detected quickly. Usually over the course of its actions, it both corroded the muscles and swelled the throat shut.

It was questionable if Dr. Tot had found it in time.

Dr. Tot not onlt completly undressed the man, be he also did a body cavity search to make sure he wasn't hiding something, then did a complete dental work-up to make sure he wasn't hiding anything in his mouth, or had anything swallowed. If it was there, Dr. tot knew about it and had it removed.

Then, and ONLY then, he turned to healing the man, fixing this, repairing that, sowing his leg back on. It may have taken the better half of a day, but it was done. Afterwards, Kash was called back, and the fully sedated man was released to security, wearing nothing more than a paper medical gown. His clothes were in a case, which was also handed over to security.

"He'll wake up in an hour. I don't want a criminal in my medbay. I will treat him, I will heal him, I took an oath to do so. But I draw the line at hospitality. He can just seek shelter in a nice warm jail cell." Dr. Tot said.

Cavourna had finally met Ella and was now on the bridge checking valuable equipment along with Federson and the Maintenance crews. Cavourna checked the system and Ella confirmed it was working. It was going to take the rest of the day.

Manu walked the deserted maintenence halls looking for the bounty hunter who had tried to kill him. He kept his eyes peeled for anything out of the ordinary. He gripped his blaster in his hand as he turned a corner.

He came across a young man who looked lost.

In the corner he could see a small group who were talking to a terrified man and a woman he recgonised as Security. He shrugged, "Hell, I'm off duty, let security deal with it" and with that he went over the bar to purchase a bottle of Vodka.

Meanwhile, near her chambers, Natalie suddenly felt a blinding pain in her side, like a stitch but much worse. She couldn't breath, she could see, she paniced and tried to get to the nearby alarm button but collapsed in a heap before she reach it...

Manu stepped into the bar, spotted Cavourna, and immediately left.

He didn't want to deal with any Alversians right now. He continued looking for somthing to do.

Cavourna had noticed Manu leaving the bar quickly and considered going after him but instead shok his head. He was off duty and couldn't be arsed chasing anyone else today. He was thinking of dispatching the Guardsman to check him out. It was something he didn't want to do, The Democratic Guards were highly thought of but to think of them as methodical would be an understatement. If he set him on Manu, he wouldn't quit until he go to the bottom of the problem. He shrugged and took a drink, he'd think about it in the morning.

Without warning the 4th carrier division slipped out hyperspace, and made the transition back normal space. Slowly it made its way towards the station, it mission nearly complete. Today it carried the last of the station personal to their new assignment. One by one a total 7 transport shuttle left the safety to carriers and made their way towards the station.

Each shuttle carried over 200 personal ranging from medical, security, and command personal. They would be the driving force behind the station, and responsible for it day to day operations.

Preparations had already been made, and shuttle bay one had been cleared for their arrival.

Walking into the shuttle bay Victor found Ella making the last finishing touch on the shuttle bay. “Do you ever get any sleep” he asked her sarcastically. “However, I am impressed that you were able to get this done on time.”

Closing the panel Ella took a moment to clear some of the sweat off her face “well I did have some help after all.” She said with a bit of sigh “Cavourna was huge help. With rest of the stations personal arriving things should get a lot simpler around here.”

“True” answered Victor. However, he was entirely sure of the that, they had already encountered a fair share of problems. He could only hope that things would get better from here on out.

Cavourna paced up and down the hallway, Federson and the Guard looked equally as worried. Natalie was very popular in the APNAF and had been under Cavourna's command before. Twice he had put himself before his comrades, twice they paid the ultimater price for it. He shook himself again and tried to drown out the laser fire, explosions and screams. Federson looked at him and said sadly "Still thinking about 155" Cavourna nodded "It wasn't your fault, you have to let the past be the past" Federson said decisively. "And the 25 sets of parents, are they in the past" Cavourna said tears running down his face, "how to you tell someone you killed their son?" Just then the door to the theatre opened.

"Excellent! Everyone in! Right! The game is bog standard, run of the mill 5 card poker!" Cavourna claimed as he whipped out a deck of cards, "I'll be the dealer and..." just then he got a message through his earpiece ans all the colour in his cheeks from the drink drained away. "I've got to go!" he shouted, knocking the table over, spilling everyone's drinks "Keep the deck and the money! I've got somewhere to be!" He ran out of the bar and sprinted down the corridor as fast as possible. He didn't even wait for the lift but instead jumped the stairs, two at a time. "I'm sorry Nat" he said quietly to himself as he ran, tears running down his face "I've let it happen again, Christ help me, I've let it happen again" and with that he flew down the corridor towards the Medical Bay

As Jason Walked up to med bay he could see Cavourna pacing. "Cavourna,are you ok" he asked calmly, for his appeareance he knew the answer, but for the moment he need to get the man attention. "When you think that you are ready I have some questions that I would like to ask?"

It is possible she may have annoyed one of the Photenic Crimelords on the Alversian moons" The Guardsman shot up and looked furious, the Democratic Guard and Photenic Crime Families had been involved in some vicious skirmished and hated each other. Cavourna thought for a moment before saying "I understand another member of staff was stabbed recently, one of your team I believe, maybe there is a connection there" His voice choked. "If she dies here, then I will rip this station apart until I find the culprit. And when I find him, I will pull his windpipe out and make him watch as I cut it. Shes not even 22 yet...not...even...22" and he broke down again. The 7 Foot Guardsman, built like a tank stood between Jason and Cavourna, "No more questions" he said soleumnly and turned to comfort Cavourna who was saying "It's my fault! she wanted to tell me but I was so annoyed about the fighter I ignored her! What sort of a commander am I?"

Finally, the field lowered, and Dr. Tot stepped out. He leaned against the wall and let out a sigh of relief. Nurses went off to other duties, and to get adjusted to the station.

"We got to her in time. Rest peacefully, she'll live. She had a knife wound in her side, and was found in a pool of her own blood. We had to take some from volunteers just to stabilise her. Thank goodness the nurses arrived in time to donate it. She'll be waking up any second. I think perhaps a caring familier face would be better to wake up to than me." Dr. Tot said.

On his way to the bar, Cavourna stopped outside the Medical Bay. He saluted the two Guardsmen standing outside, blaster rifles slung over their shoulders. Despite Jason's assurances, he had still felt he needed another Guardsman on the station, just until she was strong enough to fend for herself. He walked on in and arrived in the bar.

Problem with a station of this both this size and nature, is that there are times when things slip through the crack. Most of the time it is nothing more then minor contraband, of no real consequence. But ever one and while it is something of grave importance, that will events in an entirely new direction..

Today that something was located in a small box in an empty shop, something so small that no had even noticed. Unseen to the outside world a timer was counting down, and at this particular moment, the timer hit zero.

There was brief flash of light, peace stood if only for a moment. Within seconds shop was engulfed before the explosion spilled out of the store and into the surrounding area. Debris and shrapnel were thrown up on few unsuspecting sole, who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Vibrations shot out from epicenter to explosion and made their to the stations hull.

Victor fought for to get his footing as the ground shook beneath him. Without warning everything turned to darkness, there was silence among group before the emergency power came on and red glow filled the hallways, and howl of the alarms echoed through station. He reached for his comm. desperately seeking answers.

“What going on” he barked into radio desperately seeking answers. He had seen enough combat to know that this explosion was not normal.

“There been a explosion in the merchant section.” answered a voice, he could recognize it Ella, she must have already made her way there to survey the damage, he could hear the panic in her voice “We’ve lost power to most of the station. We’ve still got power to the Med lab, the Bridge, everywhere else is on back up power. This was an external explosion Cap, it looks like some external explosion. It really bad up here, there are casualties” There was a second explosion, much smaller then first but still noticeable. “I have turn on the fire suppression system, and turn off all core system in this section minus the life support and gravity”

Victor could hardly hear her over the chaos. “Do whatever you have to do to get the situation under control, I am on my up.” With the elevator out he would have to take the stairs, and from where he was it was going to be a bit of a trip.

Else where in the station a lone guard stood patiently standing in front of room label ‘Evidence’. With the main power gone he stood alone in the red glow, it was something that man found boring to say the least.

Off in the distance he could hear foot step coming towards, and it was not long until they were right beside him. Looking up he she one station maintenance personal coming running.

“There was an explosion, and my partner trapped” yelled the maintenance worker in a panic “I need you help, he stuck just down the corridor”

This was just the excitement that guard had been waiting for, and there was little doubt in his about an explosion. In haste to help he rushed passed the man and started down the corridor. However, he learned of his mistake far to late, as he had already turned his back. In a smooth motion the maintenance worked pulled a knife, pushing it in too back. The knifes micro blade passed effortlessly thought the guards vest and in to his heart, he was dead before he hit the ground.

With the path to the evidence locker clear, and power knocked out, he would have no trouble getting and looking for what he was searching for.

As the explosion happened, Dr. Tot grabbed a medical team and rushed up to help.

Immediatly he started giving orders left and right, and hijacking people rushing to get away, pressing them into helping with the wounded and the deceased.

Another few button presses and a red dot appeared in the merchant section of the station. He pressed another couple of buttons and a series of wires in various colours appeared all over the station model. He saw the wires around the section were in black, showing the power loss.

It didn't take long to supression system to kick in a put out the fire. As the fire dispeared it allowed her to take a closer inspection of the damage. There was something interesting about this blast, the force he blast had been directed downwards toward the floor, as result the blast had cut apart the main power line that lay underneath. she heard voice asking her what was going on.

"There was a explosion over the main power line, cutting power to the most of the station." she explained. "It would seem that someone did this intentionally though."

"Oh that's great, that's just great" Cavourna replied, "I'm sitting looking at the power grid now. It would seem a couple of ancillary lines were damaged as well. I've rerouted power through another hardline" He sat back in his chair on the bridge and glanced around. He woudl be spending alot of time up here so it was good he was getting used to it. He contacted Ella again "Bad news! the explosion's had a roll on effect. The Computer is reporting minor damage to the floor/roof of the level below. Do you want me to evacuate that level?" He asked typing into the console. The report of the damage caused was coming back and it was huge. He sighed, it was a complicated piece of equipment, this space station. Ella or another group could check the minor damage later. He counted the list, over 200 reported errors in and around the explosion, mostly electrical. Cavourna gave a long whistle, "I sure wouldn't like to be the Engineers right now" He continued to check the evergrowing list

"Thanks!" Ella said to Cavourna's last comment, it was a good thing that she had that coffee, there would be no sleep for her the next little while. "Issue the evac order to the need area's" she finally answered. "Keep an eye o the back lines, they cannot handle the load that we are placing on them for too long."

He also checked the black lines, they were dead alright and the back up did not have the capacity to channel all the electricity needed through at one time. Therefore lights kept flickereing on and then off. Cavourna settled back in his chair, it was going to be a long night...

Ella called up to Cavourna "To lift some of the pressure of the other lines I need to you shut down any non essential system. Shut all the turbo lift except those going between here and the medical bay, and keep all security and emergency systems."

"Right..." Cavourna said, cracking his fingers and beginning to type. After a while he pressed a few buttons on the second panel and spoke into a microphone:

"Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen, this is your Flight Officer speaking. Due to a pretty major technical hiccup all non-essential equipment will be turned off. I'm sorry for the inconvinience"

With that he pulled a switch and all over the station, lights, televisions and other equipment of that nature was turned off, the corridors were in semi darkness. He then radioed through to Ella, "All non-essential systems are offline, the Lines are coping rather better now, but they won't hold for ever, how long will it take to get the mainline up and running again?"

He began to type again, trying to find the major points from which he could inform the people of PaX Pacis that the lifts weren't working and it would be better to stay in their rooms. He also pressed the button "All Security to Evidence Room! All Security to Evidence Room!

The model showed it was coming from one of the accomodation level, without hesitating he executed the order to evacuate that level and attempt to stop the power going through that section. He announced over the PA system "Security to Accomodation! Security to Accomodation!" Security wouldn't like that but the hell with them. He contacted Ella again as the damage list doubled in size "Ella, you are not going to believe this..."

Cavourna threw his hands up "Fine! Fine! just don't crash on the way in please!" He turned back to his duties, more cables were offline and he was struggling to get any power into the accomodation levels, lhe launched another reroute but one of the explosions would have to be repaired, the backup couldn't cope with this.

Manu woke up to complete darkness, after flipping a few switches and knobs he determinned it was completly dark. He stepped out into the hall. Apart from some emergency lights he could see nothing. He set off to see what was happening.

However a voice on his intercom brought more bad news. “Jason to Victor, we have intruders on the bridge, taking fire.” Yelled Jason on the other end over the gun fire.

Thing were happening so fast, Victor shuffled his feet as he decided to head the bridge, it was the most concerning situation at the moment. Rounding corner he nearly ran head first into Ismata, he struggled to keep his footing as he tried to stop.

He was both surprised and relieved to she her wearing full combat gear and holding a pulse carbine. There was nothing more menacing the an agent, and he could most likely use her help.

“Good to see I could really use your help at the…”

She cut him off before he could say anymore “I am well aware of the situation” she shot coldly “There are more pressing matters I need you to follow me, and that is an order!”

For a moment just only a moment he thought about a questioning her, but he valued his life too much. In Tappee agents are the highest authority, and to question could mean death. Victor nodded in agreement “Alright were are we going?”

He had managed to pull Cavourna but not before the leader had managed to escape and his minion had pinned him down. Taking a opportunity of a pause shotting Jason lean out to return fire, he had caught his enemy trying to change position. Taking aim Jason put a single round into man chest killing almost instantly, for the time being they seemed to out of the wood as he could see no more combatants.

Ella allowed her self a momentary reprieve, with the section fully evacuated she had closed of the section and suck the air out the room, ending the fire. However, they were not out of the wood yet, not by a long shot

While watching tv Dan got the idea, he has several recipies from the PLANTs in cook books he just needs to put them into the computer. So after he finsihed eat, he cleaned it up then pulled out a cook book. he walked over to the computer console and began to enter in recipies

Cavourna woke up and felt his head. It was the second time today he had been knocked out and he didn't appreciate it. He returned to the console while Jason kept guard and checked the status of the station. It wasn't looking good, someone had cancelled his previous command and so the smoke hadn't been removed and it was spreading to the floor below. He relaunched the command and also contacted Ella "Ella, the Smoke's spread to another level and I'm going to have to evacuate it as well, you're gonna have to work some magic down there" He also tried to contact Victor the captain, "Bridge to Captain, Bridge to Captain" be warned we have several groups of hostiles on board and they appear to be trying to launch a takeover..." just then the power to the bridge cut out, "What the fuck?..." Jason and Cavourna said at the same time, Cavourna pulling out his pistol. He checked the lone monitor that was still working, it read:

"Shit!" Cavourna shouted, "Shit!Shit!Shit!Shit!" He turned to Jason who was asking what was going on. He ignored him and instead talked to Ella and Victor, "Bridge to Captain and CE! Bridge to Captain and CE! We have lost all power on the bridge, repeat we have lost all power on the bridge! I have'nt a clue what's going on! None of the ships systems are responding! Someone shifted power to the Auxiliary Bridge, did one of your engineers do it? if not then this Station is officially under the control of the insurgeants. I can't regain control..." just then, the door broke down and several insurgeants came through, Cavourna gunned down one and Jason another but they were forced to take cover from the fire.

Jason looked at his pistol and at Cavourna's. We're gonna need something bigger than that!" he shouted, Cavourna smiled and opened a locker beside him, revealing a shotgun and an SMG, "Better safe than sorry" he smiled as he threw the SMG to Jason "This is more like it!" Jason replied as he cocked the gun.
