ERX-22 Assault Rifle

A Ezaltian-designed state-of-the-art assault rifle, the ERX-22's purpose is to provide infantry with a powerful, accurate, and reliable weapon. The rifle is divided into two parts: the 7.62x51-mm rifle, and the 12-gauge shotgun underneath the rifle barrel.

The rifle part of the ERX-22 fires the powerful 7.62x51-mm NEA round, the same used on the M14 and M240. This round is extremely powerful, able of dropping a man with only one or two shots in the torso. It is also more effective at longer ranges than the 5.56 round used by most NATO rifles, such as the M16 or G36. It is capable of firing in semi-auto, two-round burst, or full-auto modes. The 70-round drum is located behind the pistol grip, seen as the white sylinder in the picture above. The shell casings are ejected above the pistol grip.

The shotgun is meant for door breaching and close-combat work. A switch above the trigger switches between "safe," "semi," "burst," "auto," and "shotgun." The 12-gauge takes 5 or 10-round magazines, inserted behind the pump (that gray area). The first slug must be loaded manually, but it is semi-auto thereafter.

The rifle comes standard with a 4x zoom tritium-lit red-dot sight, although this can be replaced with any other sights of the same size. Should the sights fail (highly unlikely) one can use the iron sights above. Each rifle comes with a variety of attachments, including a screw-on silencer, laser sight, flashlight, rubber pad for the stock, and bipod. The Picatinny rails mounted on aither side of the rifle allow for other accessories to be used.

The rifle is proven to go through 15,000 rounds without once jamming or needing to be cleaned. It is easily field-stripped for cleaning.

Overall, your military looks good if not a big large. I wouldn't expand it too much. Instead, I would mostly recommend upgrading what you already have.


Ground Forces
I recommend phasing out many of your existing self-propelled howitzers, and replacing them with our Punishers (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=12065467&postcount=62). The Mammoth Multi-Function Missile Launcher (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=12197697&postcount=98) might also be a good buy as it is very versatile.

Air Forces
I recommend phasing out your Su-47's, F-117's, and B-3's. Of all your aircraft, the Su-47 is the only aircraft you have in service, which does not use western ordinance. The F-117 is obsolete by nationstates standards, and could be replaced by a variety of better stealth fighters/multi-roles. The B-3 is held in very low regard by people in the know, and will inevitably cause you to be accused of wanking if you use it too often.

You could replace those aircraft with aircraft that fill similar roles, or you might want to use the money you save to expand your logistics capability as it seems you are a little light on transports and refuelers. Some of these (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beriev_Be-2500) could prove useful.

Navy
When it comes to ships, there are a number of philosophies out there. Personally, I go for aircraft carriers, submarines, and missile launching platforms. I try not to invest too much of my naval budget on battleships and dreadnoughts.

One thing that did jump out at me about your navy is your lack of transports and excessive number of dreadnoughts. The San Antonio Class is alright, but the Wasp Class can carry way more marines, which makes it superior in my mind. I recommend phasing our your Ticonderogas, Oliver Hazard Perry, and about half your Nero Class ships. Use that money to buy more aircraft carriers, submarines (I like the Allegro), Wasp Class Amphibious Assault Ships, and Arsenal Class Cruisers.
