Zech dropped his field and looked up at Cypher. He had managed to form a field around him. "Do not worry, you will get better in time." He looked outside, the sun was beginning to set as he scanned the horizon. "If you wish to continue your training, seek out Master Ren, as I am heading to my Chambers. There is something I must do." And with that he walked out of the room.

"Very well..." Cypher said as he bowed to Zech as he left.

When he no longer sensed Zech's presence in the room, he lowered his forcefield and rest momentarily. Sitting on the ground cross legged with his robe flowing behind him, Cypher began meditating to calm his mind and refocus. He began humming an ancients hymn that he knew from his past, though he did not know where from. The song was sooting and relaxed his body as he deepened into his meditative state.

"Later. What's next?" Taylor asked.

"Next, my friends, is the classroom." he said as he led them into the next room. "Here we teach students the history of the Jedi, and what things to do in certain situations." The room was very wide, could fit about 100 at a time easily. A huge hologram projecter lay near the front, with crystals lining the outside of it. On the walls hung a massive picture of the Battle of Geonosis. The roof was the highest in the Academy and was decorated with mosaics all over the centre. The walls were a lovely lilac with blue pillars. Bookcases swarmed the east and west walls.

OOC: You learn well.

"Very nice." I said. "Speaking of the students, how much have they've trained so far?"

"At the moment, we have trained 100 knights fully. And are in process of training 50 more. The problem is that we don't have enough Masters, you see, every child in Ftang is born force-sensitive. Ever since we opened this Academy, people have been flocking in for training."

Zech sat in his chamber, a sliver room lined with sabres and pictures of past padawans. A large bed sat in a little indent on the east wall, a curtain could be pulled around.

He sat down in the middle and concentrated. He tried to find his brother on Kounal.

If you can hear me, return to the Academy. I sense a large force is heading your way. And a sith leads them. Please return.

He waited to hear from him and looked around the walls. In front of him hung a family portrait. His dad, his mum and his brother had their arms around him. Zech's father was a large man, about 6" 8. And had a large, grey flowing beard. His eyes were a dark brown and his hair was grey and reached his shoulders. That was the last time he saw his father as he was slain by troopers soon after.

His mother was a small, yet wise woman. She had her long, brown hair in pigtails that reached down to her elbows. Her piercing eyes were a dusty grey and had many a wrinkle on her forehead. She was a Jedi like Zech, yet turned from the order to spend time with Zech's dad, and met the same fate as he did.

Zech's brother was tall, 6"5 if he could remember well. Had short brown hair and a short goatee on his chin. He was a muscular man with brown eyes, you could see happiness in them no matter what was happening. His name was Huri, and was a Jedi like Zech, but fled into hiding following his parents death. Zech was hoping to bring him back so he could stand against his parents killers.

Zech began to meditate while waiting for the reply...

Ren finally found Brendan talking to some other Padawans.

"Good morning Master Ren." The padawans said.

"Good morning, may I speak to Brenden here alone." The padawans walked off around the corner.

"I have some news about what happened to your family...."

Brenden gulpled. "What is it Master Ren?" He then realized that he had just called his master by his name for the first time.

"I have found out who took your family. And killed the people you wanted to talk to. It was an old padawan of mine. I am taking a student with me to deal with this Sith. I suggest you train under Master Ishiak while I am away."

"Yes Master. May I ack where Master Ishiak can be found?" Brenden asked his master.


OOC: I have a thread called: They Come, They Stay, We Die. It's a war RP about what's happening in my nation.

"He is currently in the Council Chambers meditating, I'm sure he won't mind you talking to him though." He pointed out the direction of the Chamber.

Now to get ready for the journey thought Ren as he walked to his chambers.

OOC: I have read it, do you wish me to reply?

"Thank you Master," Brenden said as he turned to see Master Ishiak. He found him where Ren said he would be, meditating in the Council Chambers. "Excuse me, Sir, My name is Brenden Crowley, Master Ren said you would be teaching me in his absence."

OOC: I'm just mentioning the other rp because There will probably be some developments there that may affect your side of the RP.

"Yes I am. How much have you learnt so far Brenden?" Ishiak asked, not breaking his meditation trance.

In the training room Cypher broke his meditation and stopped humming the ancient hymn. He stood up and ignited his lightsaber with one swift move. Within seconds we was practicing all that he had learned including force moves and Form III and Form IV.

Zech returned from his room having not received a reply from his brother, he walked through the arch into the training area to see Cypher training again.

"I hope I am not interrupting." He said, he ignited his sabre.

"Not at all," Cypher said as he broke his movements off. "I have just been practicing..."

Quickly he took a deep breath and regained his energy as best he could. He slid is left foot behind him slightly and raised his lightsaber in front of him.

"Yet again I would like to test your abilities. Do your best."

He saluted Cypher and decided to use both Forms III and IV to best Cypher. If he defeated him now then Cypher is the best Jedi he has ever seen, and would send him to Ishiak for a duel.

He ran around the walls and landed behind Cypher ready to kick him in the back.

Cypher had figured that he was there for a duel and had purposely readied himself before Zech could begin. As Zech jumped to the walls, he took a step backwards and readied himself for the attack.

Dropping into Form III, which he had been practicing for a while now, he prepared his defense against the incoming blow. As Zech was about to kick out at what he thought was Cypher's back, he extended his lightsaber and slashed out at the incoming Zech's leg.

Impressive

He jumped backwards and narrowly evaded Cypher's sabre, landing on a nearby table. He balanced himself and began running at Cypher at high speed, and with his sabre ready for a down stroke.

As Zech gained power and speed while running at him, Cypher dropped into a more defensive positioning of Form III. He was trying to conserve as much energy as possible as he had just used much of it while practicing.

When Zech landed his blow, Cypher easily parryed it with his own saber. Though it was clear he wouldn't be able to defeat Zech through strength during this duel, but he would rather have to use his speed and agility.

He planted his right foot behind him and pushed off the floor sending himself past Zech and to the opposite wall.

Masters Penou Le and Keith Manden were training the students general sabre techniques. The room was just like the training room but wider, as there tended to be more people in this room. On the walls hung a unique sabre. "That was the Late Master Yuntuk's sabre. It is placed to remind us of what he did."

Jedi Todd (JT) saying into hologram: "We thank you for the tour and appractiate training at this school. I have decieded that I will train here then go back to my home world and train the others. End trismission"

JT puts the hologram on Ftangs desk than bounces off the wall down the hall to the training room

"So far we only worked on levitating inatimate objects. I was hoping to try somthing else today." Came Brenden's reply

"Right this way." He held out his hand pointing in the direction of the youngling chamber.

IC: It appeared that the troopers were indeed scouts, Nia sensed more had arrived, and a strong force user was among them.

She wandered around trying to find those four students who had performed so well. "Ah well, there you are." All four were sitting in the hallway chatting.

"I need your help children, an invasion of our temple grounds has begun. I need your help." Two Masters showed up behind her, "Go outside and scan the perimeter you two." they headed for the doors. "Are you ready kids?"..

"What did he do?" Jacob asked, looking at the saber.

"He was a virtuous Jedi who was the Leader of the Order before Ishiak. He mastered all seven forms and invented two more. His fate came when he was away visiting his family on Kaluun." He began to sob "A large squad of troopers attacked their land, and he sacrificed himself in a duel with Darth Kembrak to save his family. He caused energy to flow around him and he exploded in a burst of light, killing all the troopers plus Darth Kembrak. Ever since, nobody has even come close to learning the technique as he took it to his grave."

He broke out of meditation and stood up to look at Brenden.

"Well then, I guess we shall be learning sabre technique today." he pulled out his sabre. "Do you have your sabre Brenden?"

Taylor nudged me in the ribs with a wink. "Reminds me of someone, doesn't it?"

"He he. I guess so..." I rubbed the back of my head. I then sensed something...wrong. "Something's not right..."

"Are you alright?" Po asked, he sensed that his guest had something on his mind.

"Someone's arriving, and it's not a friendly visit..." I sighed.

"I sense it too, brother." Jacob nodded.

"We had a skirmish with some Imperial troops earlier. They must have been the scout group." he said as he drew his sabre. "I sense a dark influence heading here. If you to join the fight, you may." He walked away from the three and headed for the doors.

JT follows slowly with lightsaber drawn... says softly into mike "Xwing group Alpha stand by. Beta scan the area to see if you see any ships

"Yeah, we'll join." I smirked. And to the astonishment of the younglings around, I disappeared with a *crack* of air displacement and white smoke and reappeared on the highest point of the Temple to get a look around the area. (OOC: What do I see up there? Details, please.)

Taylor just grinned and put on a pair of special white gloves woven with a cloth known as pyrotex and a symbol (http://www.fullmetalalchemist.info/circle/RoyCircle.jpg) is on the back. It allows him to make sparks in order to use his fire powers when he snaps his fingers. "Ready, bro?"

"Ready." Jacob answered with a nod.

"The Jedi Academy," Kesna Focoe whispered in awe. As he waks through the door he sees padawans training to become knights. He stands there for a minute and then continues on to the masters chamber.

OOC: There is a large forest surrounding the temple, and you see trees swaying from side to side.

"Penou. Keith, take the children into the guard chamber. This may go badly."

Po appeared at the door. "Ready, your sabres." he said to the two Masters. they both drew them and out came the blade, both blue. They walked outside and stayed low waiting for info from his guest.

Nia Gon appeared with the four children and three knights in tow. "Stay down, we don't want to give ourselves away....

ok I will. My X wing Bata group did a quick scan of the area and saw 5 shuttles landed about 3 clicks away from here

I sense a disturbance approaching

Cypher's mind darted between the surrounding forest and the duel. He felt a dark presence approaching the temple but waved it off in order to concentrate on the duel.

Going defensive is he...

Cypher, noticing that Zech had dropped into Form III, decided to go on the offensive. After a brief moment's rest, he attacked with lightning speed. He darted from one side of the room to the other before completing a backflip over Zech and bringing his saber down.

On the northern side... I spotted movement. Then I concentrated, and the sky darkened swiftly, a breeze picking up and the sensation of electricity was in the air. I smiled. Perfect...

Taylor and Jacob teleported into position outside of the temple on my finding out the troopers were here. One red and one silver lightsaber sprang to life, ready to defend the Academy and the kids.

As ex-jedi Kesna Focoe walks up to the Jedi Academy, he sees a skirmish in which the Jedi Masters and what appears to him as an unknown group. Wanting to help he draws his short lightsaber that has been made by old parts. So he rushes in to the battle.

Zech was also distracted by the dark presence approaching. But put his mind on the duel, and blocked Cypher's sabre. As Cypher attacked him he deflected swipe after swipe. And while he locked sabres he force pushed him away.

Hearing the news, Po Liak's sabre flashed into life. His fellow masters and Knights drew theirs. They saw an unknown person heading in the same direction, but did not ponder on it.

The kids were told to ignite their's and only to attack troopers. Po Liak and Nia Gon darted forth with incredible speed, while the others jumped to the tree-line and jumped from tree to tree without a sound...

Nice move

Cypher flew across the room as Zech's force wave hit him directly in the chest. In mid flight he was able to direct his feet behind himself to brace his landing. He smashed into the wall and his feet penetrated the thick surface causing it to smash and chip. Though he didn't sustain any damage, he was getting slightly tired.

Regaining his footing he braced himself on the ground. He changed to Form III to perserve his energy and waited for Zech's next attack.

Taylor and Jacob moved into the trees and began jumping from branch to branch silently, searching for the intruders, even as their brother prepares to strike down from above with lightning bolts.

He went onto the offensive and battered away at Cypher's defenses. Purple and blue light flashed throughout the chamber as he did.

He was beginning to tire, but did not wish to show it...;

Hearing the news, Po Liak's sabre flashed into life. His fellow masters and Knights drew theirs. They saw an unknown person heading in the same direction, but did not ponder on it.

The Kids followed with there blades out and ready. They Jumped form tree to tree but not as softly as the masters.

Kesna uses the force to jump an incredible distance to strike down the first of the unknown attackers. Then spars briefly with another before a master helps bye decapitating there attacker. As the skirmish ends and everything settles for the moment, Kesna turns to one of the masters and says, "I seek redemption for past wrongs..."

Kyle, Ally, Jacob and James walked behind master Nia Gon. There sabers in hand waiting for s fight.

Kesna uses the force to jump an incredible distance to strike down the first of the unknown attackers. Then spars briefly with another before a master helps bye decapitating there attacker. As the skirmish ends and everything settles for the moment, Kesna turns to one of the masters and says, "I seek redemption for past wrongs..."

"Very well, you may start by aiding us in this fight, we will need all the help we can get." said the Master. His green sabre spun around as he sliced a trooper in half.

Kyle, Ally, Jacob and James walked behind master Nia Gon. There sabers in hand waiting for s fight.

"Prepare yourselves kids. Remember, attack the troopers not the sabre wielders. Those are ours." her sabre hummed as she lept from behind the tree and begun dueling with a Sith

The blades were flashing as they moved with lightning speed in front of Cypher's body. He parryed each blow in time but was being backed into a more and more defensive position. Cypher used the force to increase his speed and was easily able to keep up with Zech's blows.

After continued minutes of the same attack by Zech, Cypher saw an opening and siezed. During momentarily lapse in the attack, Cypher raised his hand and used a powerful force push against Zech. Lowering his hand he dropped his blade into an offensive position and darted across the room after Zech.

"Prepare yourselves kids. Remember, attack the troopers not the sabre wielders. Those are ours." her sabre hummed as she lept from behind the tree and begun dueling with a Sith

The Troopers Opened fire on the Kids. But this wasnt training anymore and the bullets were real. Kyle and jacob easily Deflected the bullets back into the troopers, While Ally and James charged them and began attacking close range.

The ex-jedi doubled back and prepared to use a force focus form. He then got into a meditation position so he could metitate on the battle to help his allie's.

Cypher was using as little energy as possible to block in the incoming lightsaber blows. With every blow he tired ever so slightly as Zech was refusing to slow down.

As Ally was attacking one trooper Another trooper shot her in her side she went down. Kyle screamed with rage and ran over and killed the last two strom troopers. He nelt down were Ally was. She was still breathing. Kyle picked her up and began to carry her back to the temple. James and Jacob stayed to fight. They crept over to were the two jedi and sith were fighting.

A shot is fired at Kesna. He pulls out of his meditation and rolls to the right just in time. He pulls out his lightsaber just as a sith is about to strike him and stabs him in the heart. He has joined the battle physically now.

The rest of the Jedi engaged the Sith, this is what they had been training for. Nia Gon noticed the kids attacking the troopers, she was right about them. Po Liak lept from the tree and crushed a trooper beneath his feet, and charged a Sith with two sabres.

When they hit it became a raging whirlwind of blows as they parried and attacked each other with all their strength...

As Ally was attacking one trooper Another trooper shot her in her side she went down. Kyle screamed with rage and ran over and killed the last two strom troopers. He nelt down were Ally was. She was still breathing. Kyle picked her up and began to carry her back to the temple. James and Jacob stayed to fight. They crept over to were the two jedi and sith were fighting.

"Kids, stay back!!" Po said looking at the kids, sadly he let his guard down and the Sith thrust one of his sabres through his chest. He began to gasp for breath and collapsed to the ground..

Zech flew right across the room and hit a shelf, before crashing to the floor. After groaning, he looked up just in time to see Cypher's sabre heading right for his arm. He blocked it in the nick of time, but the sabre flew out of his hand. He lay defenseless before his padawan....

As Cypher knocked the saber out of Zech's hand he brought his own saber down towards him and held it at his body.

He paused momentarily before switching the saber off and returning it to his belt. He reached out a hand toward Zech and offered to help to his feet.

Kesna runs at an incredible rate to help the two jedi and padawans defeat the last of the sith. As the skirmish continues he remembers an old attack form from the days when he was a jedi and he uses the ancient form to battle the last of the sith.

Kyle Ran into the temple and went to find master Zech. He found him to kyles suprise at the tip of Cypher's blade. Master theres troops attacking the temple!
Ally was hurt she needs help.

Kesna runs at an incredible rate to help the two jedi and padawans defeat the last of the sith. As the skirmish continues he remembers an old attack form from the days when he was a jedi and he uses the ancient form to battle the last of the sith.

Jacob and James decided to join the fight against the sith they ignight there sabers and run towards the battle.

Kyle Ran into the temple and went to find master Zech. He found him to kyles suprise at the tip of Cypher's blade. Master theres troops attacking the temple!

Zech took Cyphers hand and stood up, before clutching his chest

Po... a tear formed in his eye.

"Cypher, kindly escort Ally and Kyle to the medibay. This is personal." he brought out another sabre and it hummed into life, he began running towards the doors.

"Yes, Sir, I do" He said as he pulled it out. He pressed the red button and watched the orenge light filter out.

"Very good," he felt a disturbance. You did your best Po, rest in peace

"Now do what I do." He began to spin around and use basic sabre techniques.

Kesna blocks one attempt to kill a padawan and counterstrikes. Seeing that he is remembering his old form, he growns more confident in the ways of the force and is progressing in the battle. He looks over at the other masters when he notices one is lieing on the ground with a saber wound. Kesna then enters a killing frezny for the death of a master, perhaps saving more of the padawans lives.

ooc: As Cypher is leading you he is obviously calling himself blind - because he is in fact blind. His eyes swirl with a mist that covers his eyes (not a cause of his blindness just an after effect.)

Cypher led them down to the sickbay and touched the keypad to open it. The doors slid open to reveal the nurses who stood up and rushed towards Kyle.

Kyle told the nurses that she was shot by a laser blast in the side. He laid her down on a bed.

Taylor spotted the first enemy trooper and without a warning, snapped his fingers, sending out a red spark that surrounded the trooper and with a slight adjustment of the oxygen content around him, Taylor ignited the trooper, burning him to ash. He closed his ears to the screams. Then he moved swiftly, deflecting blaster bolts and cutting enemies down like they were nothing.

Meanwhile, Jacob clapped his hands and alchemic energy crackled around them. Dodging blaster fire, the Jedi Alchemist produced spikes from the ground itself to impale the enemies. Then he formed a ball of bluish energy and threw it at another trooper, who died instantly as his molecules' atomic bonds were torn apart by Jacob's powers.

Meanwhile, I spotted a cluster of enemies getting close to the kids that they didn't see, and summoned a powerful lightning bolt down on the troopers, zapping them until their bones glowed and they crumpled in a crispy heap, dead.

The nurses forced Kyle put of the medbay saying she needs rest. Since Kyle had nothin better to do he headed back out to the battle.

Kyles got out the main doors when he did there were 50 troops standing outside. They began firing. Kyle deflected some bullets and then ducked. He then force pushed some soiders away and then he ran out choping some in half.

Nia saw the new member slaughter the troops. She slew her target by force pushing him into the side of one of the ships.

She then saw the sith who killed Po turned towards her and charge. And in an instant was sliced in half as light flashed and a figure appeared as the slain Sith crumpled to the floor.

"Zech? What are you doing here?"

"I came to avenge Po, and I will do anything to do so." He spins his sabers around him and cuts through a squad of troopers in a second. He could hear lightning and fire in the background.

Kesna then forced jumped to help kyle out blocking lasers and reflecting them back into random troopers killing some. He did have some trouble as he was almost shot more then once but progressed slowly finally getting close enough for physical combat.

Aha. Some manage to get through the defense. I smirked. It won't happen again.

kraaak-BOOM! A sudden blinding light and roll of very close thunder struck the troopers near Kyle, frying them like chicken.

Gaava Lu was inside studying when he sensed Kyle was in trouble. He darted through the door and out the entrance with his sabre blazing and twirled and flipped through the crowd, laying waste to them.

Kesna learning his name was kyle, was able to tell him to duck so he could chop of his attackers head. While fighting the troopers some sith gathered around Kesna to finally defeat him, as they figured out he was a spy for the republic.

Kyle Slashs a trooper next to him. Then just as things were looking good a AT-ST came out of the woods.

Kyle runs over to the sith that are surounding the jedi. He slashs one in the back for he didnt see Kyle coming. Kyle then enggaes another they go in to combat. Kyle does an over haed slash but it was easily blocked by the sith.

"Dear god..." exclaimed Gaava as he leapt away from a blast that came from the At-ST, and using the force jumped at the vehicle and sliced right through it with his sabre.

He then noticed the Sith surrounding the new member and sped towards him, slashing two across the belly and one across the back.

He then went back to back with the newcomer...

Zech and Nia went into a rage of slashes together as they teamed up to slay Sith after Sith. When the dust cleared, 9 bodies lay on the ground next to them.

"I have done my duty." Zech said as he walked back to the Academy. A trooper fired a shot, he deflected it right back into the troopers face with just a twitch of his arm.

As Cypher monitored the battle through the force he noticed a trend in many of the jedi and padawan.

Such anger and hatred they use... a dark path...

Kyle and the Sith continue to duel. The sith attacked from the side Kyle blocked the attack. Then he rembered a move he saw used. He faked a side cut and then did a upper cut, Killing the sith.

Zech could sense how Cypher felt, and talked to him through their minds.

He felt a hand grab onto his shoulder, he jumped ready to attack when he saw his brother!!

"What are you doing here?"

"I got your message, sorry I didn't reply. I wanted to surprise you."

They embraced and both walked towards the Academy...

Zech realised the truth in what Cypher said. When the last of the enemy fell, he repented the anger he had unleashed, and from the looks on their faces, the other Jedi had as well.

They all returned inside to inform Master Ishiak of the news....

Kesna, Kyle, and Gavva kept on killing the sith while trying to advance to the AT-ST. No advancement was made until Gavva forced jump onto the AT-ST to sabotage it, Freeing us up to battle the sith. Fighting the sith, Me and Kyle slowly deafeted them one bye one until there were none left. Then we all realised that our anger had took hold of us.... Everthing went silent.....

Gaava noticed the sad looks on his fellow Jedi's faces.

"Kyle, we shall train you not to unleash your anger so easily. At least I didn't lose you." He embraced Kyle

"And you, my ex-jedi friend, have been accepted into the Academy because of your deeds done here today. I will take you on as my Padawan as well as KYle."

Cypher relaxed his mind and stopped focusing on the battle as it came to a close. Peace at last... for now

Zech returned to the training chambers. And noticed that Cypher was building something. "If you are still willing to train from me, I have something special to teach you before you head off on your mission tomorrow." He bowed and took out both sabres...

"Thank you Master Gavva." Said Kesna Focoe apprieciativly. "I guess i will begin my construction of my new lightsaber immediatly then. That will allow me to begin training as quickly as possible." As Kesna walks off he hears talk of the fight and of ppl calling him "mysterious."

"Kyle, I think you should go and see Ally with Jacob and James, she most likely has a thousand questions for you." Gaava said as he showed Kesna to the lightsabre room....

As the ex-jedi turned padawan again puts together his lightsaber, he thinks back to when he was a Jedi Knight and why he turned gray. He then is interrupted when he hears the sound of kyle running to check up on ally. Realizing that hes finished with building his lightsaber he decides to test it out. It was a double sided lightsabre with a blade of light blue...the color of cyan. A color not seen in ages.

Taking the saber in his hand he ignited it and sensed its power. He began experimenting with the duel wield as he cut and slashed with one hand while parryed and defended with the other.

He also practiced switching which hand was the offensive one to surprise his opponent. He would slash with his right while he kept his left back for parrying and then suddenly stab out with his left and bring his right in.

Very interesting... and potentially deadly

Next he tried switching forms. He experimented using Form III and Form IV with duel wields.

Possible though it will take much training and practice

"Good to see you here." Masters Ishiak and Xin were waiting with Brenden in the council chamber

"Very impressive," Gaava said as he shook his arm "You realise what you do wrong and fix it, good." he exclaimed as he launched into a blaze of slashes upon Kesna...

"Yes but Master i do not have enough energy to continue for i was weakened in the previous battle." Says Kesna as he tries to block the slashes. Almost blocking all of them, Kesna decides to give up to conserve energy.This is a lesson he must learn. Never give up.

"No matter," he turned off his sabre, "You can rest now, follow Kurn there to your room." he pointed to a Bithan master standing by the door....

I was planning on having Drexel reply to it, but seeing as he is not answering.

IC: "Good, prepare yourself." a small padawan of 5" leapt in front of Kyle and started to slash away at his defenses....

"We are heading for Drexel Hillsville, be prepared for what is ahead. I chose you for that reason, you are a great Jedi even now."

"Thank you for your vote of confidence, sir," Cypher replied. "I hope that on this adventure ahead of us, I will learn much."

After a few moments of silence Cypher decided he might as well prepare himself for the enemies he would face, "Sir. I believe you told me earlier that it was one of your old padawans that we are after... do you think you could give me any more details about him, what he is after, and what forces he might have with him?"

"All he wanted was power, and when he didn't get his way he got angry and slew his first master. I though I could turn him back, so I took him as my padawan, but I failed. I left him and Ishiak banished him from the Order. My sister told me he had joined the Sith ages ago, but I thought nothing of it." he sighed, "How foolish I was, I should have ended him when i had the chance. And knowing what I do about him, he must be after something powerful on that planet. He will have a large army with him, so we must strike at the straggler and ambush small groups, so we can chisel away slowly. Should we come face to face with him, I must face him for what I did."

He leaned back in his chair and rubbed his chin "I heard you learned form X, the duel Form. May I see it?"

"I assume we are the only force going to Drexel then?" Cypher commented as he uncrossed his legs and got out of his seat.

He walked to an area of the command deck that had enough space that he wouldn't damage anything. Holding his arms out to sides, his lightsabers unlatched themselves from his belt and flew into his hands. In a quick move he had lit the sabers and moved them into a starting position. "I would be glad to oblige," Cypher said.

As soon as he finished his sentence he had begun slashing and stabbing with his the saber in his right hand hand while he parryed and defended with his left.

He continued for a couple minutes before suddenly chaning the point of attack and making a thrust with his left hand. He launched into a series of attacks with his left while he brought his right hand lightsaber close to his body - in sort of a form III style.

Knowing he was stronger than this padawan he returned a force blast, but Kyles force blast wonout and blasted the padawan.

The boy was clearly surprised at this and was caught off-guard and flew into the doors behind him before crumpling to floor in agony...

Seeing this Kyle switchs off his blade and turns back to his master.

"Indeed... be sure to wake me when we arrive," Cypher said as he found a comfortable seat and fell into a deep state of meditation - though it was often confused with sleeping.

Hilard thought for a moment, then hurried off, trying to find someone as he did not know where the saber room was. Walking around, he hoped he would run into someone who could give him directions...

"Down there, to the left." he pointed out and continued on his way

"Hilard, your sabre and clothes." he handed Hilard a standard sabre and robes.

Grace stepped forward and light her sabre, saluted and readied for attack.

"Thank you Master Ishiak," said Hilard, taking the robes and saber. He quickly dressed into the robes and took out his new saber. He thumbed it on, and waved it around. It felt odd having no weight on the blade but it gave him the ability for a much faster attack or parry.

"I am ready to demonstrate my skills with a saber when you are ready Master Ishiak."

"I shall not face you, but a padawan shall. Enter the next room and face him"

"haha, you will become a Sentinel for sure. At that speed the enemy will not know what hit them." He spun even faster, as did his sabre. All you could see was a whirlwhind...

Without slowing down Brenden took a swipe at his subsitute Master. He stopped only an inch away from him. He looked toward his master.

Hilard nodded to Master Ishiak, then proceded into the adjacent room. He entered a medium sized room, with just a padawan standing at the far side. They bowed to each other, and pulled out their sabers.

The padawan light his and leaped across the entire length of the room and slashed down in a blow that would have seperated Hilard's and left arm from the rest of his body. He barely managed to get his sword up in time to fend of the blow but almost instantly the padawan jumped onto the wall and propelled himself straight at Hilard.

Hilard brought his saber up, swinging in a tight circle, catching padawan's saber and spinning him out of control. He flew several meters away and landed on all fours. He sprang back to his feet and charged across the room again, attacking with a ferocious backhand that actually pushed Hilard back a few feet.

Finally deciding to take an offensive, Hilard dropped to his left knee and swung his right leg through the padawan's legs. The padawan easily jumped over this, but Hilard brought his right hand with the saber off back through the space his legs had just been through. He grabbed the padawan's left ankle and whipped it out from under him, sending him crashing to the floor.

Seizing the chance, Hilard sprang to his feet, as did the padawan, and pressed foward with a furry of swings, all aimed at pushing the padawan farther back. When he had forced the padawan back against the wall, he brought his saber down in a huge swing. The padawan blocked it and they held their sabers locked. Hilard hurled his left shoulder into the padawan's gut, but even as he did so, the padawan hit him with...something.

Hilard was sent flying backwards 30 feet against the opposing wall and he felt the wall crack and shatter. He fell the ground in agony as the padawan approached him and pointed his saber down at his head.

"Surrender," spoke the padawan with a glare

Hilard looked up at him, and did something that he nearly regretted. He coiled his legs behind him against the wall, and shoved foward, crashing into the padawan's legs, sending him sprawling ontop of Hilard. He brought his elbow back into the padawan's gut, hard. He heard him weeze and go slightly limp.

Scrambling out from under him hilard tried to pin the padawan to the groun but he brought his saber swinging back in an incredibely fast swipe that cut through Hilard's new robes, singing his skin. Hilard stumbled backward, suprised by the heat of the saber.

The padawan got to his feet and dropped into a defensive looking stance. He slowly approached Hilard and Hilard turned off his saber.

The padawan looked at him quizically.

"Do you give up?" he queried.

"No, just trying something different," replied Hilard, an odd smile on his face.

The padawan shrugged and scooted foward, stabbing out at Hilard's chest but Hilard rolled off to his left, and began dancing back and forth. (ooc: sort of like a boxing stance)
He waited for the padawan to approach again and lashed out with his right fist, thumbing his saber on as he did so. Because of this, his blade appeared inside the padawan's two arms, held right up next to his neck.

"Surrender?" asked Hilard.

The padawan glared at him.

"Should I take that as a "yes"?" asked Hilard.

The padawan simply nodded and glared some more.

Hilard thumbed off his saber and reached out to shake the padawan's hand. He took it, and said "You fight very well for a man with no Jedi training. That technique with the saber turned off. You must teach that to me someday."

Hilard laughed and said "That? If you call that a technique I suppose I could teach you. Do you know how to kickbox?"

The padawan shook his head.

"Well, it appears that a new skill must be spread around here. Thank you for your modesty and your little use of the Force." said Hilard.

The padawan smiled. "I felt it fairer. Had I known you were such a profecient swordsman, I would not have." He nodded and bowed. "Until next time Hilard."

Hilard returned the bow. "I look foward to being beaten," he said with a smile.

Brendensat down and closed his eyes. He tried to empty his mind. All of a sudden the sight of him in his home flashed before his eyes. He noticed that he had a large gash that he could see through the tear in his shirt. He opened his eyes and thought about what was to come.

Jacob charges grace. But grace trips Jacob and he ges flying threw the air and faceplanting in the floor. In his pain and embarisment he gets up and waits for grace to make her move. Grace Jumps over and flys down wit her blade cutting threw the air. Jacob blocks. Sweat runs down his face. the two padawans stare into eachothers eyes. Jacob slashs to the side, but grace blocks. Jacob is setback by this he does not know what to do with grace on top of him. Grace had him in a choak point. She lifted up her sword and brought it down on jacob, but as she did this he lifts up his hand to force was flowing through his body and blasted her across the room. On the other side of the room Grace was hunched against a wall, she staggered up and switched off her sword. "You win" she says with a frown. "Nice battle" he says back to her. She limped out of the room.

Kesna followed the bith to his room. He looked in his quarters and noticed that there were only the necessary essentials to survive on. Knowing that a Jedi must be able to survive on almost nothing he went to sleep in a meditative state....

ooc: Dweladelfia... you really got to work on your posting. That was the quickest and shortest description of a duel ever. It lacked all detail (all it said was "he slashed and she blocked and then he force pushes her - fight over). Throw in some flair - descriptive details would be nice as well as a more believable fight (try adding the small stuff like, "His robe flew behind him as he lept across the room." or "There was sweat on his brow as the two lightsabers were locked in battle."

If you need help, look at other people's posts and see what they do to make it meaty. Tossing on two lines of dialogue at the end to make it look like a long post is just sad.

The Jedi will then dodge or defend any attacks using the force.Some of the more skilled Jedi may launch attacks using the force in between sweeps of the opponent's lightsaber. They will then wait to the right moment and swiftly turn the lightsaber on and off, sending the blade through the enemy's body.This will instantly wound or kill the apposing enemy. This technique is difficult to master and to use it the Jedi must be very powerful with the force. It is considered to be a dark form of combat as it takes the enemy by suprise and can be also used outside a lightsaber duel to dispose of somebody in close quarters. It is best used in lightsaber dueling but can also be used to avoid blaster fire.

The massive black citadel floated menacingly in the dying star system, the star itself a dim red in the backdrop. It was here that Emperor Yurka held his power over the long-lived race named after him. It was usually almost entirely quiet, as the inhabitants of the spacecraft spent most of their time in a sort of meditative sleep to keep from going insane. However in the throne room there was an uncharacteristically high-spirited meeting going on between the emperor and his advisors...

"We should send them there!" The advisor, a Yuga completely dressed in robes shouted above the talking, "The past means nothing to them! I doubt any of them were alive at the time either way!"

"Silence!" Yurka snarled over the arguing advisors from his throne overlooking the great expanses of his territory, which was slowly withering away a little more each century, "Every member of our race is infinately invaluable, that I can agree with advisor N'tess... But I also believe that Z't'ell has a point... That happened centuries ago."

The argument was about the jedi academy on Ftang, specifically the fact that long ago Emperor Yurka had a large group of jedi living nearby wiped out. It was never found out, but some of his advisors feared that it might slip, since the ones responsible were still alive to face punishment. It had been far longer than any human lifespan, and Yurka was more curious to learn of the jedi ways then he was of such a miniscule threat...

"Therefore, I will send a group of the Cartherai's people to enroll there, along with a select few of our own. We will choose those younger than the incident of course. I will have them led by my own thrall, Zevin, accompany them. He would do well to spend time away from here..."

"...But if anything goes wrong..." N'tess muttered.

"Then we will have them leave immediately with any training materials they can manage to take with them..."

The group of advisors silently nodded, since there was no longer any way to sway their leader.

"I have seen a vision of their trainees taking equipment, even Master Yuntuk's sabre." came the voice of Master Wendar

"If I sense anything like this, then I will deal with it. Dark as that may be, we will not allow theft in this Academy." Ishiak said forcefully.

Hilard bowed

"Thank you Master Ishiak, but I have one request. Could I be allowed more than ten minutes rest? I have no knowledge of the Force, and I do not possess the meditative skills that you do. Would an hour be asking to much? If I must, I am willing to begin saber training immediately, but I do not believe I would be able to perform to the best of my ability."

Hilard hoped he was not being to foward; he did not yet fully understand the law of the land here.

"An hour would be fine, do not worry about politeness here, you need only call me Master and that is all. Meet me in the council chambers when you are ready for training."

"I'm sorry Master Ishiak, it is a force of habit. I will try and break it while I am here. Thank you for the extra time. I will be in the council chambers to begin my saber training in exactly one hour."

He bowed, held it for a five seconds, then walked out of the room. Back in the hallway, he let himself physically slump over and lean against the wall, panting slightly. The fight had tired him much more than he had let appear outwardly. Although from what he had heard about the Force, it did not really matter what he pretended anyway; Master Ishiak could almost certainly read what what he was thinking. He smiled slightly and made a mental note never to think of certain things around Jedi...

An unspecific cargo ship had recently touched down on the planet of Ftang at the Jedi Academy. While the crew unloaded their goods out the main door, a small hatch opened up on the left side towards the back of the ship. After jumping to the ground, four feet below, the boy looked around and then walked off innocently.

Leaving the loading dock, the boy entered into the unknown building (the academy) and began walking the corridors. Random people passed by and gave him a glance but nobody stopped him to ask nor did he make any effort to aknowledge their present.

"May I ask why you are here?"

It had taken awhile for the shuttle from the Autocratic Triumvirate of Nili to arrive, due to issues with locating all of the students throughout the Zeres System. However, despite the time it took, the blackened silouette against space had finally arrived, with a small defensive escort of two podships, which appeared to be two blackened orbs with small wings sticking from the sides.


To: Ftang Jedi Academy

We have arrived a bit late, but the students from Nili have finally arrived. After testing, we have found the following seven to be most suitable as jedi. We hope they do well in your institution.

It took a few minutes for the ship to finally begin its descent through the atmosphere, and it did this rather unspectacularly, descending vertically from orbit, moving slightly only to make sure it was headed for the correct location. As the ship came to a complete landing, the side of the craft pulled away as a group of robed students, seeming to be aged from roughly 10-20 human-wise, with the majority leaning towards the middle.

Zevin was the last to exit the craft, pulling the robe up over his face as he walked forward, dwarfing all but one or two of the other students with his height of roughly 6'4. The expression he was giving off was calm and almost good spirited as he elicited a yawn and moved to the front to greet whoever was outside.

"Greetings. I am Zevin, of the Yuga. I appologise for any convenience we will be." He said with a bow and a voice that seemed much gentler than his appearance, "There were originally going to be more students, but some of them were detained or had to remain in the system for various reasons... But then again it is probably best not to bring too many students, since that would only burden you further. Thankyou once again for training us."

A greeting party appeared near the new arrivals

"Welcome to the Academy, and your welcome." said the lead, a nautolan of 6 feet. "We shall lead you to your chamber, and then assign you your Masters. Due to you being all together, we have set up a dorm=-style. With a hallway and 8 rooms leading off it, with Zevin's being the largest. Now please follow me."

"May I ask why you are here?"

"I don't know..." he replied innocently, "I have no where else to be."

After fifty six minutes of rest, Hilard woke up, got off his cot, pulled on his robes, picked up his borrowed saber, and set off to the council chambers. He arrived exactly four minutes later and sat down on the floor, cross legged, focusing, and waited for Master Ishiak to arrive.

He was a little nervous about starting his saber training. He could not get rid of the thought that, without the force, he would be absolutely no match for a force sensitive Jedi. He hoped that if he became proficient enough with a saber, he would be able to fight a fully trained Jedi one day. But for now, he would just wait for Master Ishiak, and focus on the present...

Ishiak had concealed himself at the far end of the room awaiting his new padawan. He leaned out of the darkness of the chair. "Hilard, the time has come. I shall teach you a basic sabre form, Form I. Draw your sabre and do this." he stood up and his lightsabre hummed to life, he began to make basic parrys, attacks and martial combat moves...

Hilard turned around with a slight start and saw Master Ishiak emerge from a chair in the shadows. He began performing basic sword techniques and Hilard copied them with ease. He watched how Master Ishiak moved his feet, and he tried to mimick that as well. He watched how his wrists moved, how far, how long it took him to perform a certain move, and tried to copy, and speed it up. After a few minutes he was swinging his sword around almost as fast as Master Ishiak.

"Your turn now, James. Choose your opponent."

"Ok, um hmmmmmmmm, I'd like to battle him" *Points to a Boy in the crowd*

"Well I guess we should get our barings." Zevin agreed as he followed behind him, the others walking behind, gawking at the academy around them. Only Zevin and two others had any real idea why they were there, the others were simply decoys, "Theres no need to give me a larger room."

"I don't know..." he replied innocently, "I have no where else to be."

Liam followed the man without saying a word.

As for his background, if you wish I will send you a TG about it (though I haven't written it out yet [I have it in my mind] so it may take a little time. Or you could simply ask about it ICly and have the man find out about Liam. Seems like it would make a stronger connection and reason for him to "father" the boy.

"Ah, Del-Han-Skeel. What is it my friend?" a human turned around, his brown hair spinning round as he did.

"I found this boy wandering through the Academy, and I sense force power in him. Could I train him for a while?"

"Master Ishiak confirms that, but being as he is busy, and he will say yes knowing him. The boy is your new padawan Del."

"Thankyou. Now please Liam follow me to your room."

Liam stared up at the two conversing adults with a glimpse of curiousity sparkling in his eyes. He did not know what this "force" they spoke of was, but it sounded good to him.

He followed behind Del to his room.

IC: Hilard stopped swinging his saber and took several deep breaths. Wiping the bit of sweat that was accumulating on his brow, he asked "Master Ishiak, this is the first form of Jedi fighting techniques? How many are there?"
