"Oh... okay," Loki said to Rix.
As they emerged in front of a bridge, Loki got a bit queezy, "Umm... do we... umm... have to to cross that...?"

Derjanil sighed, "Careful how you word yourself around her. In her current mood, I wouldn't be surprised if she took you literally," he turns to Nephil, "And I am still unclear as to if you will need a ride or if you can fly yourself."
He shifted back to his Draconic form and waited. Meanwhile Sernja took to the air and started riding a thermal up.

Both Nephil and Lillel spread thier wings, vaulted up and began flying around the two dragons.
For one of the most rabid anti-up-world, Nephil thought Lillel was doing remarkably well at behaving.

Suddenly, people started to scream and run all around them. They are retreating something that came from behind the two men standing in front of the restaurant.
Seregon jumped up and spinned around as his fighter's reflexes took control. The sword appeared into his hand.
"What the hell is that..." he said, staring at the Saurian that rumbled down the street towards them.
OOC: How big is that creature?

Rix said, as he started to waddle onto the bridge, "Don't worry. I've used this particular bridge several times coming to and from Juno. Trust me, this is much better, in my opinion, than those darn Winged Ambassadors that you have to use to come and go from Waterfall City."

Sernja took the lead and altered her flight path to take her towards Juno on a seperate course than the other three. Derjanil led Nephil and Lillel on a different flight path. He knew that this would a good time to give Sernja some space so that she could calm down.

Haturon put a hand on Seregon's sword arm.
"Keep your weapon sheathed."
Haturon jumped on the back of the Iguanodon as it went rushing by. He clung to the back and avoided the Saurian's two thumb spikes. He reached up and covered her eyes. Not being able to see, the Iguanodon instictively slowed to a stop. Haturon whispered comforting words to her until he could tell that the herbivore's labored breathing had slowed to normal. He jumped down and walked to the creatures tail. The Iguanodon turned her head to look at him and whistled. Haturon reached under the tip of her tail and yanked. When he stood up, he was holding the crab that had attached itself to the Saurian's tail.
Haturon tossed the crab to Seregon.
"Hungry?"
OOC: Iguanodon averaged about 30 feet long (9.3 m), 16 feet tall (5 m), and 9 ft (2.7 m) tall at the hips.

As soon as Volrath was on, Nojirnus flared his scaled wings and took to the sky. He banked into a spiral to take advantage of the heat plume he had found and rise in altitude. Once he was high enough, Nojirnus began to glide towards the top of the mountain. They were headed for Juno.
Volrath's mind, always alert, as studying as much as possible of the being on which he sat during the flight. He couldn't quite define what kind of being it was, other than a metamorpher, but he was certain there were none in his homeland. As they closed in on the summit, he turned his face back to neutral, though slightly curios.

Loki was much to nervous and concentrated on not falling, to ask what a winged ambassador was. He slowly crossed the bridge step by step before finally reaching the otherside. "Phew," Loki said as he sat down on land again.

Nojirnus came down for a landing near the trio that had arrived from Nova. He waited for Volrath to climb down before shifting back to his human form.

A few minutes later...
Sernja landed next to Nojirnus and shifted back to her human form.
Nojirnus said, "Hello, Sernja."
She merely "humphed" and walked a short distance away before leaning against a wall to wait for the others.

"Umm, who are they?" Loki asked to Serinus as a pair of dragons landed on in front of them.
Under Loki's hat Nilrem was jumping up and down quickly. He reached his hand under the hat and took Nilrem out. "What is it Nilrem?" Loki whispered to it, "You sense great magic about them? Alright." He slipped the Eborall back under his hat and asked Serinus, "Are they Dragonlords?"

Sernja walked over to Loki and says, "You see that castle all the way at the tip of that sub-peak over there? Thats the Dragonskeep. Every Dragonlord has a room there. Though after a time, we got so many we had to branch out into tunnels inside the mountain itself."

ooc: BTW, I decided to change Loki's height to 1 meter. The average height for a 10 year old is 1.4 meters, so that would make Lleld 40 centimeters taller than Loki (55 inches versus 39)

Lleld furiously put things back where they belonged after Lillel had looked at it.
She roared, "Enough!" She continued, in a slightly calmer voice, "Like I said, some of the things on this floor are very dangerous. This sword," she holds up a blade, "was made to fell a hundred demons in one fell swoop. You're just lucky you didn't activate it."
Hearing Lleld's outburst all the way on the main floor, Rix, Serinus, and the Dragonlords gulped. They had heard stories of when Lleld got mad.
After looking around for a few minutes and not being able to decifer what most of the items were, Loki walked down the stairs to where Lleld had just confronted Lillel. "Um... excuse me, miss... but do you think you could tell me about a few of your very special items up here... I am kind of lost," said Loki.

She dashes back to the fourth floor and scrounges around. After a few minutes, she comes back with a few items.
"Here," she says while giving Loki a Rune Dagger, "this little trinket was made from a Lightning Dragon's fang, I'll teach you later how to use it. Its called Grillock," she pauses while she pulls out a leather pouch, "this pouch will hold ten times more than any other pouch of the same size," she pulls out the third item, "this is the sheath for Grillock," she then hands over the fourth and final item, "and this is a shield made from a Dragon scale. Its in the compact form now, just press this little button here," she points to the button on the handle that would be within reach of the thumb, "and it will expand to its full size."

Lleld Kemberaene's soul-twin (OOC: I can't recall his name right now) was talking to the others on the main floor.
Looking at the items Lleld had presented to him Loki said, "Um, these all seem quite interesting... but I dont think I would have much use for any of them except the pouch. I don't like to fight with daggers and such - I am a bit clumsy for that," he said as he blushed slightly. "Anyway, I will take the pouch, but I was looking for stuff more along the lines of amulets or rings with magical features..."

Volrath decided that it was probably safe to go down now, and headed for the fourth sub-ground floor. Carefully and slowly, he inspected several items, and set them back exactly the way they were before he got there. It took him a bit of time, but he finally found it: A small, light stone, known to him as a 'powerstone', which he could use in one of the devices he had brought with him. The device was clearly powerless in it's current state, and needed a new powerstone to activate.
Though he would've preferred a powerstone such as those in his homeland Rath, dark and infused with destructive, terrible powers, this one would do as well. He went up and stood behind two of the others, Lillel and Nephil he believed their names were, and waited for his turn.

He noticed it was a bit short of the items' weight and having no more gold on him, he pulled out a couple of nuts from the bag and dropped them on teh scale. "Sorry Nilrem," he whispered to the Eborall under his hat.
Turning back to the scale he realized something. "Um... one second," he said as he dashed off down the stairs to where LLeld was. Only to realize she was standing right there, "Oh... oops... you said you would tell me what the dagger did..."

She picked the Grillock from the scale and pointed to the first of the three Runes.
She says, "You have to speak each Rune to activate it. There are three Runes, thus three power levels. When all three Runes are activated, it is at full power. On each power level, it will emit a small whip-like bolt of lightning, strength is determined by the level. A level one bolt can be used to, for example, stun a fish you want to catch, knock stuff out of a tree, or get someones attention. On level two, the bolt will knock a person unconsious and literally cook a fish, for example," she paused, "On the third, and most powerful, level, the bolt will be strong enough to kill, you could even cut down a tree with it."
She looks around and walks over to him. For the first time since she met him, Lleld sent Loki a message using mindspeak.
"Now listen closely," she thought at him, "the first Rune is Dirjania, the second Rune is Tirjunic, and the third Rune is Lirujack. Be sure to memorize those three Draconic Runes if you want to use the Grillock to its fullest abilities."
"What the hell," Loki thought as he heard Lleld's voice in his head. Not knowing if Lleld could read his mind, he decided to vocalize his response, "Oh... well that seems rather useful and all... but um... not for a me. Sorry. I will just take the ring and pouch, unless you have anything else you want to show me." Loki waited for a response wondering if she would speak it or not.

No reading of thoughts is possible," she paused, "Oh, and if you encounter any of the island's true-Dragons, just know that they only communicate through mindspeak. Dragonlords have the ability to use both verbal communication and mindspeak, though we prefer to use mindspeak for long-range communication and secret messages."
"Oh, okay," Loki said rather relieved. He picked up the dagger off the scale and said, "Here you go..."

"But I don't want the dagger," Loki said. "I don't need its sheath." Loki was confused about her gesture but said, "I don't need a bag, but first put the items back on the scale so we can reweigh them." When she did so, he removed the pouch of gold coins and put it back on his belt. Leaving the few gold coins that were for some reason out of the pouch, on the scale, he said, "That is a little heavy on my side, but its ok. You can keep them."

"So a Muddle." Arioa replied
"Umm... I guess..." Loki said, "I never heard that word before, but if that is what you would call it."
"So, um... how old are you?"
"Key word there, live in hell. I'm chasing my husband, who's on vacation. Our daughter just pops up when she feels like it." Lillel replied
"By up-worlder math, around fourteen hundred years, I think." She commented, thought she was unsure if she was right, this being her first trip up-world.

"Woh! Um... thats pretty old," Loki said quite astonished. "How old are you in... um... underworlder math?"
"I just turned seven, otherwise I couldn't be here." She replied, "How about you?"
"Um... I am five," Loki said as he held up five fingers. "But... I guess in under-worlder math that would be like..." he paused as he thought, "One-fourtieth of a year."
"Anyway... why couldn't you be here unless you were seven?"
"Not powerful enought." Arioa replied
"Not powerful enought." Arioa replied
"Oh..." Loki thought confusedly, if someone was 1400 years old they would be pretty powerful - but maybe not for demons. "How old are your mom and dad then? In up-worlder years."
"Never asked." Arioa replied
"Oh... why not?" Loki asked.

“Oh…I see.” said the Command Sgt. Major. “Well…see you around.” He started walking back to his group then turn back at her. “Unless you go back home that is.” he added before walking back to his group.
"No reason to." Arioa replied
"Perhaps even after I return home as well." Lillel commented
"No reason to." Arioa replied
"Oh," Loki commented, as he put a nut under his hat for Nilrem. "So... umm... you don't seem mean."

“I’m not going to Hell.” said the Command Sgt. Major. “I know I’m not going there when I kick the bucket.”
"You sure about that?" Lillel asked
"She takes after me more than Lillel." Nephil commented as his daughter scowled at him for interrupting.
"She takes after me more than Lillel." Nephil commented as his daughter scowled at him for interrupting.
"Oh," Loki commented as Nephil answered the question instead of Arioa, "Well Lillel said that all demons are mean... and so far out of the three demons that I have met, two of them haven't been mean."

"You sure about that?" Lillel asked
“Yes, I’m sure about it.” he said. “Jesus Christ is my savior. I’m a soldier that has killed but I will go to Heaven.”
“Plus…I’m not a servant of Satan.”
"Well, we're not really a representative cross sample." Nephil replied, while Arioa gestured for him to sit, which he did.
"Who says you have to serve Satan to be in hell, I don't for one." Lillel replied

“I did not say you serve Satan. A human would have to be like Hitler or serial killer or somebody evil to be in Hell.” said the Command Sgt. Major. The others just listen to him, they knew him like a book. They knew what he was about to say.
“And I’m not one of those type of people. And I will never be Satan worshiper or the next Hitler.”
"Well, we're not really a representative cross sample." Nephil replied, while Arioa gestured for him to sit, which he did.
"Oh... okay," Loki said as the Nephil sat on the floor. At his height he still towered over Loki. Loki looked at the two of them noticed the height discrepancy between the two - he chuckeld slightly.
"Not exactly, mass murders and 'hitlers' are fairly rare, yet hell has a population of billions." Lillel replied
"What's so funny?" Arioa said, her hand's on her hips.
"What's so funny?" Arioa said, her hand's on her hips.
"Nothing," Loki said as he stifled a giggle. "Its just, your dad is so much taller than you," he said smiling.

"Alright then." Lillel replied
"And how is that funny?" She asked indignantly.
Loki's smile disappeared as Arioa became upset, "I d-don't k-know... it just is," Loki's voice trailed off.

The Command Sgt. Major did hear what she said or maybe he did and was ignoring her. He continued talking with the other members of the group from the Dominion. Havoc and Chaos were walking around the room.
"Calm down Arioa." Nephil said in the tone only fathers can get, "And apologize."
"I'm sorry." She said to Loki, sincerity appearent in her voice.
Loki didn't say anything, but rather plopped down on the ground a couple feet from Nephil and Arioa. He laid his staff (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b360/DMG2005/Staff.png) down next to him, although it stretched passed his feet and bumped Nephil.
"Sorry," Loki said as he pulled the staff back from Nephil's leg so that it was no longer touching him.
He then reached under his hat and pulled out Nilrem, setting him down in front of his crossed legs. Nilrem began bouncing up in down, before Loki handed him a nut.
"What is that?" Arioa asked
"Huh?" Loki asked. "Oh, you mean Nilrem?"
Loki picked up Nilrem into his hands, "Nilrem is an Eborall - he has been my best friend for my whole life..."
"Is he friendly?" She asked as she reached to pet it.

Lleld came over and knelt next to Loki.
"An Eborall, you say," she says, "not a species native to the island, otherwise I would know about it."
"That's true," said Eragon from his seat at the Council Table, "Lleld likes to get her nose into alot of things."
Lleld scowled at him but said nothing.
"Umm... yeh... well, he is to me," said Loki as Arioa reached out to pet Nilrem.
As she pet him, Nilrem began jumping into the air. "I think he is friendly to you, too," Loki said when he saw Nilrem jump out of his hands.
Arioa began playing with, and petting Nilrem.
Nilrem jumped into Arioa's hands as she pet him, but soon enough he jumped onto her head. He bounced up and down twice before making the large jump onto Nephil's head, where he continued to bounce up and down.
Nephil's ears twitched, batting the fuzz ball back into Arioa's hands.

“A blue thing is jumping on the Nephil's head.” said the Command Sgt. Major.
“Oh…” said Tom. Then Nephil batted the hair ball in his dauather's hand. "Playing baseball with it." said Chaos, right behind Nephil. Havoc to his right side.
Nilrem scrunched up, in what only could be described as an upset or angry state, before jumping out of Arioa's hands and landing on the brim of Loki's hat. He then jumped up, so that he was balancing on the point of Loki's hat, before stopping his bouncing.
"What's wrong?" Arioa asked

“Looks mad.” said Havoc as he watched Nilrem.
"I think he is," commented Loki as one of the newly joined travelers spoke. "I think he got mad whe Nephil swatted him off his head," Loki said as he attemped to look up at Nilrem, although his view was blocked by his hat. "Is he scrunched up? When he is bouncing he is happy or hungry and when he is scrunched up he is mad or sad."
"Yes he's scrunched up." Lillel said
Arioa was trying to get coax Nilrem to come play with her again.
"I thought so..." said Loki.
As Arioa tried to coax Nilrem to come down, Nilrem began shaking furiously. He then jumped to the back of Loki's hat and began jumping up and down furiously. The added weight to Loki's already oversized hat was enough to knock him over onto his back.
Loki was lieing on his back as Nilrem jumped onto his chest and scrunched up again.
"Why's he so angry?" Arioa asked puzzled at Nilrem's behavior.
"As I said," Loki said from his back, "Nephil swatted him off his head... and now he is upset."

Havoc and Chaos laughed as the blue fur ball knocked Loki on his back.
"That's an odd reason for angry." Arioa said, "Here Nilrem, here boy."
Loki glared at Havoc and Chaos as they laughed at him, "Its not funny."
He turned back to Arioa, "It seems like a good reason to me. I know I wouldn't like to be smacked off of a cliff... but maybe thats just me." Loki paused momentarily, "Give him a Blayshin Nut, to cheer him up... he always loves those."
"Blayshin nut?" She asked, not knowing what he was talking about.
"Yeh, Blayshin Nuts. Its his second favorite nut, next to Kupo Nuts - but I have only ever found one of those," Loki said. As she clearly didn't know what it was he tried to explain, "Umm... wel they are very round and kind of brown." He didn't quite know how to describe them any better. "Just get one from my pouch," he said, pointing to his waist.
She reached into his pocket and withdrew a nut. She then held it out for Nilrem.
Nilrem stopped moving as he sniffed the air. Smelling a Blayshin Nut, he jumped slowly over to its source. When he reached the nut, he expanded to his normal size and waited.
Nilrem jumped into the outstetched hand of Arioa and took the nut in his mouth, before devouring quickly.
"Phew," said Loki as he sat upright and straightened his hat that had fallen over his eyes.

“I’m Havoc.” said Havoc and he pointed to his brother. “This is my twin Chaos.”
“We are Damphir vampires.” said Chaos.
“525 year old vampires.” said Havoc.
“We were born in Southern Germany in 1480.” said Chaos. Their faces unchanged like they were robots or they have been through this a million times.
“And you are?” asked Chaos.
Volrath, having been completely occupied with looking about in the room and casually studying the dragonlords, looked over at the Eborall.
"Huh. None of those where I come from, either. And I should now, I've documented all interesting species there... Vampires we have, though most have left. Can't blame 'em."

Arioa began petting Nilrem once he was in her hands.
Turning to Volrath, Loki said, "Umm... yeh... I haven't heard of them being anywhere else. Actually... now that I think about it... Nilrem is the only Eborall I have ever found." Loki thought for a moment before continuing, "Well, I guess found isn't the right word... he was sort of there as long as I can remember."
He turned back to Havoc, "Huh... oh yeh. I am no god, though... At least I don't think so."

Loki thought for a moment before continuing, "Well, I guess found isn't the right word... he was sort of there as long as I can remember."
"Maybe he's just a common halluciation?"
"I know," Loki said to Havoc before turning back to Volrath and saying, "Unlikely. How do you know I am not just a common hallucination?"
"How do we know anything really exists? How can we determine wether something is real or not? I believe you are real because I choose to. I was simply saying an option, though I choose to believe the little one exists as well."
"Good," Loki said, "Because I don't like debating philosophy. It is too... of this world - if you know what I mean."
Nilrem let out a most rare sound *Crrrr* as he settled into Arioa's hands.
She continued to pet Nilrem.
"Good," Loki said, "Because I don't like debating philosophy. It is too... of this world - if you know what I mean."
"I understand. I rarely find anyone who wants to talk about it. Not with me anyway, though that might be because off my eerie logic. Or lack thereof."
"I understand. I rarely find anyone who wants to talk about it. Not with me anyway, though that might be because off my eerie logic. Or lack thereof."
"Its not that at all," said Loki, "Its too hard to explain..."
He continued to watch Arioa play with Nilrem.
Arioa continued to play with Nilrem, while her parents watched.
Loki had forgot about the items he bought, but as he watched Nilrem he suddenly remembered.
He pulled the pouch of nuts off his waistband and set it on the floor in front of him. Then he pulled off his pouch of gold coins that he had retied to his waist and set it next to the other pouch. He then removed a few rings, a couple of pendants, a few gems, and a wand, and placed them on the floor.
He reached into his pocket and removed the ring and pouch that he had bought. He slipped the ring onto his finger next to the other one (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b360/DMG2005/Ring1.jpg) that he wore. Collecting all of the items and the two pouches in front of him, he put them into his new pouch and tied it to his waist.
He again looked at Nilrem, but realized the Eborall's eyes were now looking back at his hands. Loki reached into his pouch, removed a nut, and handed it to Arioa.
"Is it time for his dinner?" She asked as she took the nut.
"Uh... he doesn't really have a dinner time. He sort of eats when he is hungry," said Loki. "I think when I pulled out the bag of Blayshin Nuts he smelled it."
She offered Nilrem the nut.
Nilrem devoured the nut quickly and began jumping up and down in Arioa's hands. He then jumped onto Arioa's head and bounced a couple of times before jumping onto Nephil's head and then quickly back onto Arioa's.
Loki chuckled as Nilrem bounced on Arioa's head.
She let the fuzzy ball bounce on her head.

Havoc walked away from the group but Chaos stay to the side of everybody. He was watching Nilrem as he jumped on Nephil's head then on Arioa's head. “He must like heads because he made a game out of it.” he said.
"Actually, he likes being high up - and someone's head is about as high as he can go," said Loki to Chaos. "I think he is taunting Nephil," he said as he chuckled again and smiled.
"If he's going to try and bounce on my head, he'll have to be able to leap." Nephil commented as he stood up and sat on a chair. "Thought I'd prefere if he didn't, it's quite painful."
