OoC: Not meaning to sound like I'm god-moding, but I wouldn't recommend torpedoing the Hood; it had massive armour at the waterline (enough to withstand a 15 inch shell); plus she had a top speed of 31 knots (hence her designation as a battlecruiser)

Dear Taoiseach,
Rest assured Britain has no authority to conscript men from the Irish Free State, and we would not violate the terms of 1923 agreement by attempting to do so. However, as per usual, they will be allowed to volunteer into the British armed forces if any individual so wishes. However, we hope you understand we are at liberty to conscript men from Northern Ireland, and will do so as required. We hope you understand this,
Yours,

Fuhrer Schmeil, Benito, and (Insert name of Spainish leader here) were gathered into a wooden room with beautiful dark and glossy wood tables and floor. the walls were also made of this wood. there were 5 tables gathered in a circle, each with a cozy chair. All were equiped with headphones linking them to a transylator and a stack of papers with pens and ink. behind those desks were clerk's desks ment for the leader's aids to write transcripts, write up documents, ect... complete with typrwritters, lamps, and saki (to give their leaders a drink if they asked for it).

Each of the three leaders were directed to a desk by white-gloved ushers.. After they sat down, menues were brought to them. Then a Tall, brisk japanese man strode into the room and took a seat. He recieved a menue as well.

"Hello comrades. I am Emperor Hirota. I welcome you to the Imperial palace. I thought we could eat and get to know eachother first before formal talks."

"I am the cheif negotiator of japan. I understand you wish to sign a non-agression pact. And possibly an alliance. No, you will not be able to even see the emperor unless you are an ally."

The man looked bored or disgruntled. he slamed a parchment in front of the Prime minister detailing the non-agression pact. It basically forbade the two nations from engaging in direct and indirect warfare with another.

"I am sure the transylation didn't get through on your end correctly, Fritz. We are NOT communist. We have wars with the russian bastards every 10 years of so. The last 'war' was a skirmish over the northern border of manchuria not 2 years ago. Our nations have always been at odds."

"That's good, the Garda have been all over us since the bombings. Can't be too careful."
"So, not to be impolite but on now to business..."
"To business then. We need guns and explosives, big explosives, if we are to hit the English where it hurts. The bombings harmed not a bit of their infrastructure or ability to make war, they just gave us headlines. We need help in order to strike the match that will set fire to the Proletariat Revolution that is so direly needed in this country. That's where you come in..."

Excuse me Emperor Hirota, Fuhrer Schmeil but about communists. Spain is allied with Russia though we do not like communists but now I must ask a question. Who do we side with in the Baltic war? On one side is the British, who Spain cannot fight them alone. It would be hard with Russia and Spain together. We need your support if we fight on Russia’s side. But if we do not fight on there side we would break an alliance and would not have any honor. So whom do we side with?

The U-551 (I just made that up, I don't know the real name of any sub in the Baltic fleet) were still taking in water, despite the crews effort to seal the leaks.
''We have no choice comrade captain, but to emerge and surrender to the enemy.''
''*sigh*... I hope you're right Vladimir. Give the order to empty the tanks.''
''But sir, we are still underneath the Hood! We cannot rise now, we must survive...''
''No, not this time Vladimir. Tell the crew that they will be remembered as heroes, order them to sing the national anthem as we rise.''
''Y-yes sir.''
The U-551 began to rise, first slowly then more speedily. She was still underneath the Hood and when she hit her her hull would brake open, the torpedoes would explode and hopefully the Hood would hopefully be unmanouverable as the torpedoes blasted her rudder and propelers.

The other subs ignored the Hood, seeing as their torpedoes we useless, and began focusing on the escort ships.

OOC. The reason I didn't go for the rudder as soon as the battle begun was that A: My troops didn't know the full strength of the Hood, and B: I couldn't reach because of depth charges.

Stockholm, Sweden:
The Red Army were approaching the Royal Palace and the Riksdag, soon the leaders of Sweden would be captured and they would have no choice but to surrender.
In other parts of the city the fighting hade become more like the stalemates in 1915 when the militia engaged the Red Army with ambushes and snipers. Artillery fire was called in on the buildings were the resistance hid.

SIC:
Kremlin, Moscow:
''Shall we make the announcement, Trotsky?''
''Not yet, the British declaration of war was unexpected but they do not pose a threat considering the vast amount of soldiers we have at our disposal, the number of new tanks and other weapons produced and the secret weapons project.''
''Please remind me, what was that again?''
Trotsky sighed and said:
''You are aware of the recent work in the field of atomic science and engineering? The splitting of an atom, called fission, generates a large amount of energy...''
''How much energy?''
''According to Einstein the energy would be equal to the mass times the speed of light raised to second power, E=MC^2. Enough to wipe out any city in the world if the energy was to be released at once. Now we have under many years tried to control the chain reaction created by fission and I think that next year we will be able to construct our first nuclear power plant. It will make over thirty per cent of our other powerplants unnecessary and obsolete.''
''But how are we going to use a that in a war Trotsky?''
''Konev, the main thing that keep submarines close to harbours is that they cannot carry enough fuel or food right? So what if we were to mount that reactor inside a submarine? We would be able to get to anywhere on the planet anytime! The only reason that we do not have nuclear submarines right now is the fact that our rocket scientists are behind schedual, something that doesn't matter since the process to develop safe nuclear reactors for use in submarines may take a while.''

Later that day Konev approved the design for a new heavy tank, called the KV-1.

As you are aware the Population of New Zealand is little over 1.6 Million People

The New Zealand Army consists of around 120,000 men at arms

-In the form of Six Divisions of which 3 are standard army fighting overseas and two are 'Home Guard' we also have another 'Division' in Africa but this purely for supplies purposes and its allocated name is more of a confusing tactic to use against the Axis.

The 2nd New Zealand Division is under the Command of Lieutenant-General Bernard Freyberg

Brigade Commanders
-Brigader Howad Kippenburger and Brigader W. Gentry
As you also are aware the British 9th Armoured Brigade is under New Zealands Control with Brigader J. Currie as Commander.

The 3rd New Zealand Division is comanded by Barrowclough and is currently in the Pacific

The 4th New Zealand Division is under the Command of Newly appointed Major-General Inglis who has commanded the 2nd Division previously and this experience will serve him well.

Brigade comanders are Alexander Thomas P Nobody and Walter Askew
The 4th is an Armoured Division.

The Airforce

New Zealand has an Airforce of around 45,000 men and Women serving all over the World
New Zealand would also has 11,000 men serving in the RAF and 3000 serving in the RAAF.

now the question is how do you feel about new Zealand what can you offer us?

Emperor Hirota sighed and pushed away his meal.

"Ok. Its time for formal plan making now I guess."
with that, a panel in the wall slid open, revealing a map with all army. navy, and air foces positions.
"Ok. About Russia. I really don't like those bastards and never will. if we were to attack russia, we would crush them. They can't afford a 2 front war. BUT, this will allow the english to take all of Industrial russia. We cannot allow this to happen." Emperor Hirota said as he paced the floor in front of the wall map. He stopped and pointed at Croatia
"Croatia has pledged troops to England. We expect they will make good on this pledge soon."
He pointed to spain.
"And then Spain makes an alliance with russia for weapins, ect.. even after we provide them with enough weapons for years of war."

"So, we, the third world power alliance, have hands in both conflcts. However, I demand that both Croatia AND Spain deny aid in this conflict. The longer they fight eachother, the weaker they become. No. We will sit this out."

He pointed to Luxemburg.

'THIS is our main concern. We already have a war damn it!"

He looked at the Fuher.

"We will lose Luxemburg. I simply can't get enough troops up there in time. We must beat a path through either france or germany for the retreat to Switzerland. yes. This is why I am bothering to conquer Switzerland. Its a Fortress country. There, we will pull back all of Luxemburg, its citizens, and its army to here. There, with the support of the remains of my two infantry divisions and the fighter wings plus the two armies stationed there, we will turn it into a fortress which the netherlands can never hope to penetrate. Switzerland holds massive amounts of german gold and stolen items left over from their Kritsalnacht and other lootings. We have alreADY cut off the transportation out of the country, so the germans will lose a huge fortune... not to mention the billions of dollars in the Swiss banks from other investors and countries. Also, the Swiss factories and swiss income is better than luxemburgs, so the New Luxemburg will be well suited. Luxemburg can be easily reinforced too due to its proximity next to Italy."

"But our main concern is France. They are weak from the previous world war and cling to old tatics. They could be easily intimidated into allowing us passage. Or, we will simply crush them. You see, they won't be recieving any reinforcements of allies other than the netherlands because all other nations in the region are tied up in war. it would be folly for any of them to aid France, as we will simply ally with their enemies."

"We are a Great alliance, rivaling the other 2 great alliances. Lets let them beat the be-jesus out of eachother and then conquer them both when they are weak and about to collapse on themselves."

"Now to another Topic. South America. It possesses the oil we need and the leverage to conquer the USA. We can easily outflank the USA with control of the panama canal, and a suprise attack by Japan's naval forces on the American Pacific fleet. then, using the USA as a plat form, we will invade the USA. They cannot draw on reinforcements from their overseas outposts (due to our fleets), or even train or recruit more men. It would take too long."

Emperor hirota clapsed his hands.

"That is our grand strategy. Any questions.?"

Lancaster, a man in charge of most ship-building yards, got the order of the number of ships to build for the new partison navy. Most of the ships would be done in a matter of days. But 2 battleships, whos size where amazingly large, looked like they could take about a week to aweek and a half to complete. He almost thought of sending the 2 plans back to check for mistakes in the size. Eventually Mr. Lancaster just went ahead and told the plans to the workers, who quickly went underway in building the ships.

At the docks in Tokyo, Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto and his Japanese Marine troops(sea-based troops) got off the ships and waited on the dock for the Prime Minister's ship to come around. Benito was greeted and swiftly brought to a waiting motorcade of Armored cars. He was seated in an armored car, and was given a tray of sushi and a bottle of saki.

Top Secret IC:
The operative was preparing for his mission. He had a small assassination pistol, it looked just like a calligraphy pen. He placed this pen in with dozens of his others. It was activated by lifting the shirt clip and would shoot out a cyanoide-poisoned tip fired off by a 6mm blank shell.

Top Secret IC2:
Five thousand Stukas and two thousand fighters were prepping. Most bombers had 500 pound bombs, the fighters had small bombs or drop tanks for extra range, and some planes had what looked like a torpedo. In essence it was. German scientists had been at work since 1933 and had created some beauties of wonder weapons. This weapon was converted from a submarine torpedo, and these did look like designated ship bombers. The weapon was in fact the first "bunker buster" design that some top scientists were so keen on. It had a "shaped charge" in the main warhead assemble to blow through reinforced concrete and a filler layer of concrete and steel to dampen its affect on a second charge which had a five second time delay fuse from the fist explosion. All of this was driven constantly downwards by a small solid fuel rocket. In theory, it would penetrate the earth, explode the first charge and punch a hole in the bunker. The second charge would be propelled even more by the rocket and enter the bunker, explode, and kill everybody before they knew what was happening. Even if it failed to kill everybody, the bunker would lose its use as a protective shelter. Tests proved earlier that year that this nearly fourty-foot "torpedo" would penetrate up to fifteen feet of concrete alone, and could collapse nearly double that. Fifty planes were outfitted two of the first model of this weapon and would target either the Kremlin or their parlimentary building. The other planes were pointed towards Leningrad, Stalingrad...excuse me, St. Petersburg, and Kursk. 10,000 men of the 1st and 2nd Parachute divisons were also loading into transport planes with jet fighter cover, all in order to capture the Caucus oil fields. Thousands of tanks were ready, along with a million mobile infantry (supported) to move within minutes of the actual attack--a blitz across Eastern Europe in order to reinforce the paratroopers and overewhelm the enemy within a matter of weeks. Rommel had no interest in the slamm countries and would avoid them as much as possible. Get them on his side if possible, prepared to fight if not. This invasion was set to go, and waiting on word from the Furher.

Communique to Prime Minister Metaxas(Greek PM),

Excellency,

We are interested in the expansion of the Balkan entente comprimising Romania, Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia(although I'm assuming with only Slovakia existing that Czechoslokavia doesn't exist anymore? Seems odd to have a 2nd non existing country in this RP, unless you started after Septebmer 1938) into a Balkan alliance, especially with Greece, Bulgaria, Albania, and Turkey(other Balkan nations not mentioned are able to join as well) in order to protect ourselves. Not all of us are blessed with a large and well equipped army ready to defend ourselves against the 200 millions of Soviets, 60 millions of Germans, the Italians, English, French, all the major powers should they ever become hostile. Yugoslavia and Greece could win a war of attrition and using guerrila warfare (Tito's partisans were able to beat 300 000 German soldiers along with supporting panzer units after Yugoslavia fell in 1940, field units in divisional size, maintain an air force, artillery regiments, and even tanks) and Romania should be capable of holding its own in a proper engagement against a major power that has a lot of its forces committed elsewhere. This is not enough. If we can work together, we can maintain a position of enforced neutrality, or even take a side as a major united power and not worry about the security our respective homelands. Although Romania lost 400 000 people in the Grest War and we do not wish at all to incur such heavy losses once again and therefore wish to have a policy of enforced neutrality out of this alliance.

As a headsup to potential allies, this is a breakdown of our current military forces. We currently have 25 standard infantry divisons, and have had a general downsize of our army. While this may be weird considering the ongoing wars, these divisions are fully modernized, the leftover units have been made into 5 reserve infantry divisions and we spend more time training our NCO's than Germany spends training its junior officers. To add to this are our specialized divisions of 3 mountain divisions, 6 calvary divisions which for the past 8 months have been undergoing a full modernization involving a downsizing to 4 divisions and total coversion to mechanized divisions with dedicated aerial and artillery support, and Sturmgeschütz III Ausf E brigade attachments. In a further month the modernization will be completed. We also have 2 tank divisions and are working on a 3rd(going to various tank companies to secure contracts). The 1st tank division consists of the Romanian modified Czech Skoda R-2 tanks (slightly better in performance than the panzer mark 3) and the 2nd of modified PzKpfw IV Ausf F1/G/H/J medium tanks.

We maintain a highly secretive air force but it consists of combinations of German and British designs, slated to be eventually replaced by purely Romanisn designs after Brasov works completed reverse engineering of Britsh Hurricanes, and various German designs.

We await a speedy reply to begin preparation of defence agaisnt possible hostility of the major powers.

We were wondering about the possibility of purchasing a dozen at 10% above value to see how they compare to our current tanks and if they bring about favourable results we will seriously consider ordering more after the field tests.

We have updates on our military boost! It is going quite well indeed, a very good expansion ion our part, and to the great cause of the Red Army. Our ship preduction is helping a lot near the coast of Sweden, were British ships have attacked. Also, land and even a few air production has begun, and some have finished. Again, with our great increase in strength, you may order as much help as you need, and you will get it. Hail the USSR!

1) we've been producing since 1932. Its now 1941. Germany has had enough time to build all of them domestically, and the steel imports had only been cut off for 2 years, so we're still in good shape. Also, when did Switzerland get invaded? I must have lost it in the chaos of 450 posts to sift through.

2) I thought we banned atomic weapons...and the nuclear submarine is unfeasable for this time because German research was the best in the world, yet still couldn't sustain a controlled fission reaction until May 1945. So I'm going to dispute/ignore the nuclear sub.

3) I know what SIC is, but it was a Top Secret IC so I labelled it as such.
Indeed you have, but in secret. In order for it to have been secret, it couldn'tve been on too large of a scale.

Anyhow, many of your tanks now have only machine guns. The lack of metal now available to you means you will not be able to produce more than 50 of the later models at most. When i say severe shortage, i mean severe shortage! I find it highly unlikely that you can support an russian offencive, especially considering most of the tanks in your possession are slightly if not completely outdated.

RUSSIA! Russia had to steal nucklear technology from america for christ's sakes! Also, by the time Russia was invaded, they were caught off guard. they hand't yet modernized, and most of their tank batallions rode horses. Pathetic, no? Although you can start modernicing (and I see that you have begun in your secret IC posts) I seriously doubt you can have Nuclear tech developed during war while you are modernizing your army at full speed in the face of a English-german assult. then again... you DO have more than enough material and factories with the conquest of sweden...

GERMANY! I just thought of something else. You won't be able to have early jet planes that the german nazis did late in WW2. Why? Because the unintrested japanese gave the technology to them after reasearching it. No joke. Go look it up if you want. But the japanese were technically the first to devolop jet technology and build a proto-type jet plane (also they had choppers under development) all the germans did was enhance it.

Croatian bomber pilots flew overhead. Dropping their payloads on the sleeping city. The explosions red glare could be seen all around. And the pilots knew this would not be without repercussions. Roughly 20 bombers had taken place in this surprise attack. Now the question was... how many would make it back? Would the RAF attack? What about any AA guns? They would wait and see. Most knew that Slavko Pvaternik had the entire Kingdom of Croatia in his hands.

dude, 1) I changed my production of steel to be nearly all domestic. Germany did the same by 1939 and didn't rely on imports as much as you say they did. I still can produce a hundred tanks a month without any imports, and they would be fully armed and armored.
2) The brits were the first to develop a jet engine, and flew their first jet in 1932. The project was cancelled because of budget cuts and the lords thought the idea was too "far fetched" and "impractical" I stand beside my jets.

But they left Swedon alone because they agreed to trade metals with Germany. AND, germany only possessed low-grade metals, not fit for war.

Comrades,
Great news on our recent research! After taking a look at the T-34 tank, we have came up with many modifications to improve the T-34. One is to make the tank itself larger, and more plated. Also, by making the main cannon bigger, and the circumferance of the barrel, giving it a more powerful effect when on the offencive as well as defencive. We are sending the plans so far along with this telegram. We would like your reserchers to look over and maybe update the plans, in hopes of creating a better weapon for the Red Army! About your resent update in tchnology, we may think about ordering some of the new planes. We will keep in touch. Hail the USSR!

OOC: But the Germans were the first to develop a jet fighter:

http://www.centennialofflight.gov/essay/Aerospace/Heinkel/Aero57G2.jpg

Heinkel entered the field of jet propulsion through his acquaintance with the physicist Robert Pohl of the University of Gottingen. Professor Pohl had a graduate student, Hans von Ohain, who had invented a jet engine. It didn't work very well, but Pohl recommended Ohain to Heinkel, who hired him. With support from Heinkel, Ohain built a jet that ran successfully in March 1937. Two years later, he had one with twice as much thrust. Heinkel installed it in the He 178, which flew in August 1939. It was the world's first jet plane.

Communique to (Greek) Prime Minister Metaxas:

Excellency,

We are greatly pleased to hear of your acceptance of a Balkan Alliance and see this as a great first step towards Balkan unity.

We applaud your efforts in maintaining the stability of Albania, we provide to you the 1st Romanian Mechanized Division in a joint command to oversee the operations in Albania to maintain peace for their government (Likely no one can be bothered to play as Albania given it's a tiny nation, I'd be willing to RP them).

We request that you do not communicate solely with Japan on the possibility of an alliance given our own. We would like to discuss it with all nations in the alliance (Romania, Greece, Yugoslavia). We advise extreme caution given the hostilities Japan(and its allies) is engaged in, which could alienate bordering nations before we are properly prepared to defend ourselves in cases of aggression. (Someone needs to RP the rest of Yugoslavia, we're too far in to remove Croatia so for the time being I'll assume Yugoslavia as well if no one else has too many complaints since no one has ran it over yet) Let us discuss this in more detail with the representatives of Yugoslavia, Albania, and our respective nations. For the time being we recommend nothing more than a non-aggression pact. After we receive a reply from you we will prepare an official reply to Japan's proposal.

Kind regards,

Minister of Foreign Relations

Communique to Zastava Arms of Yugoslavia:

Brother,

We are aware that your arms factory is among the most advanced in the Balkans and wish to contract your services for developing new style of weapons for our military forces.

Short term: a semi-automatic rifle with a 10 round cartridge effective to 600 metres and 1200 metres in section shots. It must be easy to build and repair, cheap, very reliable, able to literally fire in mud, and with 7.92 x 57mm mauser ammunition. Goal to be completed:3-6 months tops.

Long term: a select fire auto/semi-auto rifle with a 30 round cartridge effective to 600 metres with option for modular scope attachments. It also must be cheap, reliable, easy to build and repair. The type of ammunition is to be a new style, it must be smaller than std. mauser rounds to decrease recoil in auto fire mode and still provide target lethality at a minimum of 300 metres. Goal to be completed: mid 1943 at the latest.

Excellency Hirota-sama,

We are honoured to have such a proposal from the head of the esteemed Japanese peoples.

We do however, have apprehensions about this alliance proposal. We feel that we are not ready to involve ourselves in a war for the time being and are currently more concerned with the stability of our specific region. In the Great War Romania lost 400 000 of its people and still feel this loss today as we are a nation of only 16 million people.

We would be honoured to sign a non-aggression pact with your nation as well as your allies and even enter into an alliance, however we do not wish it to be a military alliance for the time being. We would be more than willing to strengthen our relations, improve economic trade, even work together on new technologies, but would not wish to make it a full military alliance at least until we can ensure the stability and security of our often volatile region and respective homelands. Perhaps if you could specifiy exactly what you are looking for?

To reiterate, we would accept an alliacne that does not involve military committment for the time being.

The prime minister was sat down in front of a desk with a bald, chubby japanese man sitting opposite of him.

Jim Prescot and his companions were shocked at the rude welcome. They knew the Japs were stubborn, stiff necked proud bastards, but this...

He looked at the parchment and quickly knew what to say. He would probably infuriate the Japanese Diplomat or god knows what his reaction will be.

Prescott:"Ahhh, ofcourse. A draft. I'm sorry to say, but it would be impossible to sign this treaty. As you know we are bound, through blood and honor (he knew the Japanese respected this) to the nation of Great Britain. I must say that if Great britain and the Japanese Empire somehow would be drawn into a conflict, we know where our loyalties lie..."

It is your duty to protect your honor and kill those who have dishonored you. So you now claim you are 'blood and honor' bound to the people who sent you accross the world in shame and dishonor? Pathetic. Emperor Hirtoa must be consulted and warned not to ally with the fools to the south."

He rapped the desk twice, and an aid came in. After a quick phrase in japanese, the man noded and shut the door, scurring off.

After a breif interval, the aid came in and went to the fat man. He whispered into his ear and scurried off.

The fat man sighed.

The first point I wish to discuss with you is Britains attack on Leningrad. We do not know the reason why they attacked us, and wish them to cease all hostilities. They would surely not listen to us and therefore we ask you to mediate.''

"Commarade, I do not believe I was allowed the pleasure of knowing your name. I am Johnathon Grimes. Now, my orders from Berlin says I am to meet with the highest military commander possible and/or the highest ranking Party official. As Stalin has died, I cannot discuss matters until I meet with the highest military commander possible, nor do I know who you are. As for Britain, that is the main reason I was dispached." Johnathon reached into his pocket and started twirling the poisoned pen in his hand.

"Oh, sorry, I have a nervous condition where I must be doing something at all times or I start to go into a seizure." The diplomat explained away quickly when one of the guards gave him a suspicous glance.

ooc: We wish to remain nutural. But, that would cause us and our allies to throw our weight in with the Commies; making a very powerful coalition... one that germany couldn't stand. Not smart. Even considering you don't have the reasources to sustain a constant flow of war materials.

You do not need to know my name, but for now you can call me Ivan.
So will you mediate?'' he answered.

The diplomat smiled and said, "The furher ordered me to meet personally with a Military officer of sufficient rank to trade valuable military information. we have information on British military plans and wants me to broker a military alliance between the two of our countries. Aslo *sneeze* those dogs are irritating my allergies, could you please remove them. I was invalidated for that reason."

"Herr furher."

"Yes Jorg. what is it?" Rommel asked, wearily.

"A nuclear physicist and I were talking the other day, and he was talking about Uranium. When we split the atom in '38, he noticed large amounts of energy coming from the atom, even rooms away from where it happened. As he put it, lights all over the building were lit up. He believe that the rays Madame curie were studying eventually led to her death. He also believe that this, if used to lace a bomb, can be used as a weapon of mass death."

"Really? Any how many can such a weapon kill?"

"He says millions with a single bomb. The only thing would be that it would take a month for the bomb to have full effect."

"Very well. Since our Steel has been all but been cut off, we must do such to protect our country. Have ten such bombs built, and you will lead the project. Your friend will be head scientist. I want them built in two months....and doesn't lead come from Uranium decay?"

"Yes sir....I know what you're thinking. we'll have more bullets from this."

Spain knows that you need metal to fight your war with Russia so maybe Spain can help. We have metal you can use. But you will have to pay for it. Of course you must understand that Spain and our allies Japan and Italy come first. At least you have metal for your war.

ooc: Woah! Hold up!

We agreed to NO nukes in this RP! NO NUKES.

Now that that's settled, let us continue.

IC:
Those presistant bastards.

"10, 42, 22"
"Open fire!"
The Army of Japan charged with the capture of Bern had encountered a large army of Swiss militia, about 5 miles outside of bern. There were about 75,000 Swissmen against 50,000 Japanese soldiers.

The swiss soon attacked after the two forces encountered eachother, forcing the japanese to scramble for some cover. Chi-has came forward and parked with their armored sides facing the enemy, providing close armored support and cover for the japanese troops, who swiftly hudled behind the numerous tanks. Despite artillary support, the swiss charge reached the tanks, and overran the tank barricade line. A bloody hand-to-hand battle ensued.

"Fuck them... Send in all of the reserves."
"Erm... All of them?"
"YES, all of them! Didn't you hear me fool!?"

Japanese oficers went back to the mass of men waiting in the rear and ordered them into rank and file; acording to division.
"BAYONETTS!"
The troops quickly pulled out their long bayonetts and swiftly attached them, like they had so many times before.
'MARCH!"
The officers drew their katanas, and waved them forward. One batallion of 1,000 troops went sharply left and broke formation, running towards the left enemy flank. The enemy saw this, and the swiss comitted their reserves to stop them from being outflanked.

Meanwhile, the main column cheered and crashed into the enemy who were engaging the front line troops. After a few minutes, the swiss were retreating.

The lone batallion held up well, but was suffering heavy casuilties. the now-free frontling troos swung left (as if on a hinge) and then closed in in a scythe-like formation. (now its a horse-shoe thye kind of battle, with the swiss sandwiched in between. It is an Indian tatic I kinda picked up.) The swiss, who were now being cut down from all sides, broke and ran out of the opening presented by the horseshoe like battle. Most, if not all, were cut down while fleeing by the troops who were hot on their heals.

The tanks had meanwhile persued the origional wave of Swiss troops and overran the command center, capturing the swiss commander.

-Later that day-
The swiss commander was thrown to his knees in front of The commanding japanese general.
'You are defeated."
The general drew his sword.
"You are shamed."
The japanese general raised his sword.
"You don't deserve to live."
The General swung his sword down opon the knelling swiss commander, watching his head roll across the floor.

"Send this to Bern. Show them the price of defying us."
He pointed to the captured swiss soldiers.
"Free them."

Italy was undergoing signifant infastruction improvements.

The shipyards at Trieste were undergoing massive renovations to produce Zara Class Heavy Cruisers. The automobile factories at Milan and Turin were being rebuilt and expanded to produce vehicals for the Italian army. The Ansaldo Fossati factory in Genoa was being upgraded to conduct research to develop a new tanks, the P.40 heavy tank. The Piaggio aircraft factories were to be even more massively expanded and renovated at Tuscany, Finale, and Sestri. The Società Anonima Nieuport Macchi aircraft factory at Varese were to also be massively expanded and renovated, with a new laboratory to conduct research and develope a new prodotype aircraft, the MC 205N-2 "Orione".

The Zara Class Heavy Cruisers were being built at full capacity now. Now the Italian Navy had thirty Zara Cruisers (twenty of which are in Costa Rica). In addition, three Zara Cruisers are continously built every month.

The autombile factories at Milan and Turin had built all their assembly lines, and were mass producing automobiles for the general public in addition to the military.

The research on the P.40 heavy tank was completed at the Ansaldo Fossati research labs in Genoa, and was being produced at the same facility.

The Piaggio aircraft factories were also at full capacity, with each producing six bombers a month.

The Società Anonima Nieuport Macchi aircraft factory at Varese has also completed research on the MC 205N-2 "Orione", and production has began.

The diplomat agreed to the dogs, reluctantly and removed his hankerchief. He blew his nose and checked his watch. He had fifteen minutes until the attack. He had a plan.

"I will sign an alliance, given I may meet a few of your Admirals for a few minutes. I don't care about escorts, just so we can discuss the tatical situation with Great Britain."
