~August 1938~
Adolf Hitler was in his office, knocked out from his daily dose of heroin. He was scheduled to speak at a tavern where he first attempted to enforce his rule. The so called "Beer Hall Push" was his claim to fame. His second in command was a man connected with the Illuminatis, General Jodl. Hitler and Jodl entered the beer hall, and while Hitler was speaking a bomb exploded. However, Jodl expected it ten minutes later. Both were killed by the blast, as Jodl was supposed to be using the restroom during the assassination. A man was laughing as he heard this news...the only one in the Reich...General Rommel now had complete control of the country and the Military. And unlike Hitler or Jodl, he was a good general even from HQ.

In the Kremlin Stalin looked at the map displayed before him. It depicted the Finnish border towars the United Socialist Soviet Republics, complete with the exposed Finnish bay and the almost surrounded Leningrad. Deeper inside Finland was the Mannerheim line and beyond that was Helsinki.
Molotov had written a lettre to the Finnish Prime Minister asking for the complete surrender of Vyborg and surrounding areas, as well as the installation of a friendly government, but as of yet an answer had not arrived and now the Red Army was organizing, two mechanized infantry divisions and three armoured division had gathered around Leningrad and and two motorized infantry divisions were stationed to the far west of Murmansk. The Baltic Fleet had been put on full alert and were readý for battle.

In Washington D.C., President Roosevelt sat in his wheelchair wondering about whether he should do as Congress said and give more money to the military. He had three different areas that he had to donate a lot of money to.

After all, the Army Air Corps demanded more bombers and fighters. The B-17 and B-25 bombers were the most popular and easily constructed planes, as well as P-40s and a new design that were on the drawing board. The XP-51 it was called. The President approved them.

The Navy wanted more aircraft carriers (who had shown themselves to be damned effective in tests), destroyers, submarines, in fact more ships in general. The President approved a total of ten aircraft carriers, ten battleships of a new class called "Iowa", twenty cruisers, seventy-five new destroyers and thirty submarines to be constructed over a five-year period. They would replace the oldest ships in the US Navy.

The Army wanted more paratroopers and new tanks as well. Something that would be easy to manifacture and could be easily deployed in case of a new war. After all, trouble was brewing in Europe. Several ideas had been presented to the President, but one idea in particular stood out. It was called the M4 Sherman. It had a simple design, and better then the other ideas showed. Quietly, the President approved a initial batch of 1000 Sherman tanks with options for more, as well as the formation of 3 new paratrooper divisions. 17th, 82nd and 101st divisions. The new rifle that was intigrated to the military also worked perfectly. Just like expected. The M1903 Springfields were outphased now. Just like the previous president had ordered.

This done, the President wanted to take a trip to the rose garden to do some gardening and catch some rays, content with doing the days work keeping the United States neutral.

it was a warm August Evening in Luxemburg and so the Hitlerjugend meet was being held outside, Herr Schmeil walked up onto the stage, "Heil Hitler!" He saluted to the crowd who saluted back "Hitler is dead!" someone shouted back the crowd turned to face a young boy standing outside his house "General Rommel is the fuhrer now, Heil Rommel!" The boy turned to walk into his house but Fritz after him "tell me how you know this!" the boy turned to face Fritz "German Radio broadcasts!" the boy shouted back "schiesse! Rommel is no politician he is a mere soldier, i hope that the rest of Germany realises that, we know this and we will fight Rommel to last man, whos with me!" the majority of the crowd began to cheer, one man lept onto stage and pushed Fritz down "do not listen to this non-Aryan pig, Rommel is the man to lead us, not that weakling Hitler!" Some of the crowd began to cheer until Fritz got to his feet and punched the Aryan in the nose "Hitler is NOT weak" Fritz was speaking through his teeth angry at the Blonde haired fool "he must be pretty strong for a dead man!" The Aryan struggled up and raised his fists, the two teens circled eachother until Fritz leapt forward and struck the Aryans eye "what's your name!" Fritz asked "i am Ubrich and your name?" Ubrich responded "i am Fritz!" Ubrich ran forwards and punched Fritz in the stomach, the crowd was watching with anticipation, Fritz picked Ubrich up and threw him into the crowd, Ubrich was helped up "i say we form our own rallies, Heil Rommel!" "Heil Rommel" a small portion of the crowd walked off with Ubrich leaving Fritz and the Hitlerjugend "Hitler is dead, but we can at least stop Rommel in his tracks, Heil Hitler!" Fritz shouted at the crowd "HEIL HITLER!" The crowd shouted back.

Queen Wilhelmina sighed, considering the recent events. War was a strong possibility, she had decided, but she would try to maintain the neutral stance of her country. The Netherlands had not been involved in the Great War, so why now? Suddenly, a deputy burst into the room.
"Your Majesty, Hitler is dead!"
"What!?"
"Yes. A bomb killed him during a speech. Erwin Rommel, the famous general, has replaced him."
"This could be good for the current state of affairs. Very well, you may go."

Meanwhile in his office, the Prime Minister Hendrikus Colijn had just recieved the same news. He too believed that it was a blessing and that it might help maintain the balance.

However, throughout the country the Dutch Nazi Party were in mourning and holding ceremonies to commemorate the death of their champion.

(OOC: gah, sorry)

Fritz was approched the next day by an elderly man who wished to join the Hitlerjugend, the cut-off age for members was 18, but Fritz needed every ally he could get if he were to defeat Ubrich, the age limit was changed people aged 16-36 could join the Hitlerjugend, Fritz ordered that the Rommeljugend be disrupted in any way, soon the Hitlerjugend meets had turned into full scale operations, stink bombs were thrown into crowds of Rommel supporters, who attempted to retaliate by throwing back rotten fruit and eggs, Rommel Nazis were ambushed at night, no-one dared leave there houses unless they fully supported Fritz who had been proclaimed the unofficial Fuhrer and was practically rejoiced by the Hitlerjugend. Ubrich, who was become less like as the days went on, planned on stepping up the conflicts, he had some French contacts smuggle rifles into the Country, the battle for Luxemburg was beggining.

Field Marshall, scratch that, Furher Rommel was in his office and said "Who is behind this?! The Russians? We signed a treaty with them last month! The French!? That would force all our plans! The British? Too cowardly, that Neville and too upity that Churchill. The Itilians migh, but lack the experience. Find out who did this and bring me the head of the bastard and his family!" Rommel screamed in rage as his aide ran off, leaving behind a stack of newsclippings, covert wire taps, and budgets for approval. Rommel dug into these like they were French soil in the last War.

News of the day
*New Machine-Rifle: Designation MG42--manufacture and implementation approved
*Rocket bomb: Designated V1-burst jet engine--All aspects approved
*The British have flown a jet they call "Tornado": Rommel has ordered a twin jet fighter
*Stuka dive-bomber levels have reached just over 5,000 in inventory.
*Panzr IV has completed first prototype--production approved
*New Machine Pistol: Designated MP40--production approved
*New Rifle: Gewehr semiautomatic--design and prototype approved, slated to replace aging Mauser 98k.
*New rifle: Designated STG44--new caliber and fully automatic--design approved, limited production.
*Atom Bomb project: Cancelled--resources needed elsewhere.
*Program to remanufacture ball bearings underground in case of air attack: Approved and moved into implementation.
*UBoats and Enigma encoding machines: Boost in funding--education funding reduced--production scaled upwards to three boat per month per shipyard.

Spies within the ranks of the Rommeljugend reported to the Grand Duchess Charlotte that guns had been supplied to the Rommeljugend, the Duchess could not allow the Rommeljugend to keep this weapons which could potentially ruin her rule over her country, she did not wish to waste her military on such a target, and so she bought forth Fritz of the Hitlerjugend, the Hitlerjugend would be given guns and money to destroy the Hitlerjugend, including bonuses for doing so in a certain time period and for killing specific targets, the Hitlerjugend were not given enough strength to take out the Duchess' military, and the bonus for time was placed at a near immpossible time, this would hopfully force Fritz into making rash decisions and losing too many men to challenge the Duchess who could sit back in a foreign country waiting for both sides to destroy eachother.

Just some minor details:
MG42, STG44 and MP40 have incorrect designations: the number at the end represents year of creation, and we are in 1938. You can make new ones though. I quite fancy an MP38. :)

Lord Halifax looked up from his desk in Number 10 as his private secretary walked into his office.
"Prime Minister"
Halifax had only been Prime Minister for two months now, since Chamberlains death from stomach cancer, and he was not yet used to being addressed as such. 'Just as well' he thought. A General Election had been called for later in the year, and he had decided not to run. He was merely the interim Prime Minister.
"We've had a telegram in from the British Embassy in Berlin, sir. Herr Hitler and his deputy Jodl appear to have been assasinated today. I'm afraid we've no further details at the moment"
The Prime Minister straightened up. He had despised Hitler and everything he stood for, but the assignation was not good news. With the death of Chamberlain, the death of Hitler would lead to widespread sympathy for Mosely and the British Fascist party.

Telegram to the Netherlands from Grand Duchess Charlotte

we would willingly agree to this mutual protection act though we are currently suffering from Nazi gangs fighting each other, once this matter is resolved we will be only too willing to assist our neighbours, as our national motto says "We want to remain what we are"

it was Tuesday evening, in the City of luxembourg, the streets were empty, most had evacuated to nearby towns, the Hitlerjugend owned this city now, dust flew through the City square, Ubrich and his "army" walked in, he looked around trying to find the Hitlerjugend, two young men took down a Hitlerjugend flag and replaced it with a Rommeljugend flag, "NOW!" a shout came from the City hall, hundreds of armed Hitlerjugend popped out from buildings and alleyways, gunfire erupted all around, Ubrich took out his French Service revolver, and began to fire at the surrounding buildings he swung around to a alley behind him, a large gatling gun was wheeled out, the Hitlerjugend begqan to fire and shots rattled around the square, soon however the gun jammed, Ubrich stood up, his ears were ringing, he shot one of the Hitlerjugend and the other three ran away, a grenade rolled to Ubrichs feet, he had never seen one before and so assumed it to be another of the Hitlerjugend stink-bombs, the grenade blew, throwing Ubrich 20 metres away and killing him.

Fritz was behind one of the gatling guns, watching as men just fell before him, he also had a rifle and was firing shots into the chaos of the battle, not that he did any good, the only targets he could find were already dead from gatling fire, the battle seemed to be dying down, and Fritz leapt out into the square to survey the dead, he found bodies of his fallen friend's, he ignored these and focused on the Rommeljugend soldiers, soon he came across Ubrich, dead, it wouldn't matter the Rommeljugend would find another leader, maybe one more competant, though it was a step in the right direction, Fritz walked up the steps of City Hall he decided to give a speech "Ubrich is dead, but we must not stop fighting for the memory of Hitler. HEIL HITLER!" The unengaged Hitlerjugend saluted back shouting "HEIL HITER!" Soon the gunfire came to a stop, Luxembourg City was secure for now.

We are enthusiastic about any Mutual Aid pact between our three nations but would wish to know what form this treaty would take. Would we agree to simply come to each others aid? Would an attack on one be considered an attack on all? What if our (or your) colonies were attacked?

King Leopold of Belgium

The terms suggested are:

An attack on one of the three be equal to an attack on all.
If a home country (ie. not colonies) aid must be given by the other members.
If a colony is attacked then aid should be given if possible.
Type of aid given depends on situation and what is available, but it will generally be accepted that as much aid as posiible be given.

These terms are of course only suggestions and any changes suggested will be graciously recieved.

word of Ubrich's death spread throughout the Rommeljugend, and the most peculiar thing happened, the various generals of the Rommeljugend began to in-fight, leaving the only people who could now fight the Hitlerjugend, the Luxembourg armed forces, who moved swiftly in quelling the last of the Rommeljugend, the Duchess was approached by Fritz who had come to claim the bonus for killing Ubrich and two of his lieutenants, the whole thing was a sham, Fritz was imprisoned in one of Luxembourg's top security prisons, the Hitlerjugend was encouraged to disband, the King wanted to shake off the shackles of the Nazi past, he wished to sign a pact of mutual protection with the northern countries, this could not be done well with Nazis in the back-yard, the Hitlerjugend did disband for a short while, it came back some weeks later as the Hitlerkern, this gang had support in the military which trained the recruits how to fire a rifle, rifle was designed for cheap production they called it the FS38, spies managed to infiltrate the gang and reported to the king who became infuriated, all the renagade soldiers were soon uncovered and were immediatly ejected from the military, the Duchess thought that this would stop the Hitlerkern, instead it made things worse, the military now suffered from a lack of numbers, the Hitlerkern had trained professionals at the helm and soon Fritz Schmiel escaped from prison, with their leader back the Hitlerkern were now unstopable

the remaining handfull of Luxembourg soldiers stood outside the Duchess' palace, she was to give an encouraging speech, one good thing had come out of the discraced soldiers, each soldier could be given better funding, the Duchess moved out onto her balcony to address the military, several Sargeants could be heard shouting "ACHTUNG!" the troops stood rigid, an explosion suddenly took out the furthest corner of the palace courtyard and Hitlerkern forces began moving in, the Luxembourg soldiers turned to fight the Hitlerkern and the Duchess was taken into her palace to wait the battle out in her shelter, the Hitlerkern were making short work of the trained soldiers and had soon made it to the palace gates, which were blown off using explosives, most of the Luxembourg forces had now joined the Hitlerkern, the fighting inside the palace was brief, the only palace guard had been placed outside and had already been killed, soon troops made their way into every corner of the palace, the Duchess had been captured and Fritz made his way into the palace, he was the obvious choice to lead the new Nazi Luxembourg, he gave the order to spare the Duchess' life, instead she would be exciled, the Hitlerkern had formed themselves outside the palace ready for Fritz's speech "friends we face a difficult few years ahead of us, Rommels Nazi's to the east, the French to the West, and undecided forces to the North, but we will stand tall amongst these giant's, we have eachother, wheras they are devided!" the crowd began shouting back "HEIL FRITZ HEIL FRITZ HEIL FRITZ!"

"Mein Furher!" An aide shuted as he entered Rommel's office.

"Yes. What is it?" Rommel asked, reading a document that appeared to be from the French PM ordering a lone spy to plant the bomb. The one thing he didn't know was that Jodl had this forged a week prior to Hitler's death.

"Lexembourg has some pro-Hitler and pro..uh, pro-you ritos, sir. Seems like some of our own people believe you unfit to lead, and have fought some loyalists."

"Jorg...relax. I am nothing like Hitler, I won't shoot you for your opinions. I won't shoot you because you are a Jew either. My best friends in life have been Jews. I mean, look at Adolf, he was born of Jewish ancestors. Now, send a dispatch to Luxembourg, Belgium, and Britain telling them we intend no harm to them and that those rebels are not our people at all. Tell them we have expelled them from the Party. And do just that. Then also offer an alliance to them similar to that we have with Russia. Once they reply, all of them, we'll know what to do. If Britain replies yes to the alliance, we shall attack France. France was behind the attack, I'm convinced. I want 4500 of our 5000 Stukas to attack a 45 mile strech in the Maginot line. Constant bombardment until the defenses are shattered. The rest, keep in reserve in case something should happen. When a sizeable gap is created, we rush in with our tanks and infantry."

The aide stood at rigid attention and said, "Heil Rommel!" He then saluted with the old Roman salute...minus one thing, his hand was closed into a tight fist.

"Jorg...I like the new salute you have come up with. Order my SS squads, and later on the entire army, to salute like that."

Jorg just nodded his head, knowing that all his Jewish brothers would be safe with this new Furher.

Dank, humid, and misty. The babboo plants were in front of the Chinese line of Infantry, affording the frightened soldiers some security. But there was no security against the japanese.
In the mist, they could hear the clattering of steal and Iron and cheering. The chinese soldiers glanced about. This was a bad omen indeed.

-Japanese side, 200 yards away-

"Chi-Has move in Now!"
"All infantry regiments on the advance!"
*Cheering*
The officers drew their curved katanas and grasped the flag of Japan tightly.
For the emperor.
There was the sound of gunfire in the distance and explosions, the chi ha's had Moved towards the line at full speed, and then had turned towards the opposite column of chi has and were now passing the lines while firing. The chinese were in panic, this was a new tatic for the Japanese. They normally held ground while attacking, not moving about. The tanks stoped, their sides facing the trenches a few feet from the startled Chinese. They took the oppertunity to throw defective gernades and fire their moldy (The Chinese Nationalists didn't know how to clean their guns i believe) guns at the Machine gunners. Some started to climb on the tanks. That's when the screaming wave of bayonett weilding soldiers slammed into them.

Chinese rule No 1:
NEVER fight the japanese in hand to hand.
(japenese were notorious at fighting really well at hand-to-hand combat)

The chinese began to flee, and the japanese began to fire off a few rounds at the chinese dissappearing into the mists.
But the chinese wouldn't get away THAT easily.

Armored scout cars and motorized infantry rushed past the foor infantry of the japanese, firing machine guns into the chinese mass from their vehicules.

-Nanking-
Abe, General Nobuyki Abe, sat at a yew desk that was looted from the British embassy at the end of "The Rape of Nanking" he read the report of the battle (300 tanks knocked out, 2,000 troops dead) that had crushed the Nationalist chinese forces. Or so they thought.

On his desk was another distrubing report. The Red Chinese forces had linked up with the Nationalist stragglers and were on the move--but to where? That was a question that had to be solved quickly.

A few phone calls later, a Squadern of 50 Zeros under Lt. Gen Hirota were heading towards the enemy's last known position.

your inquiry into the Military status of our country is well founded, we do indeed have an army, it comes in the form of the Schmeilkern (formerly the Hitlerkern) we currently number 65,000 and hope to be soon receiving former soldiers of the great third reich, those who continue to support the great works of Adolf Hitler, your lack of knowledge about our military does not strike me as odd, for the longest time our small country has been overlooked, but we will soon become world news i assure you, Heil Schmeil!

(OOC: [EDIT] the response was a spoof of those letters you see exchange between high officials and schoolchildren)

now that all factories in Luxembourg had been siezed, production began on building a better army, designs for a new gun began, this was to be a revamp on the rushed FS38 model, they called it the FS39 and it immediately went into production, Scmeil realised a need to take to the skies, planes would be too expensive and so an airship would be designed, it would be 250 meters long, have a volume of 105,000 m3, it would have a range of 4,500 miles and it would reach speeds of up to 60 miles an hour

(OOC: [EDIT2] oki i took out the bit about building tanks and also added the construction of Airships, tell me if this is a bad thing)

Criminals won't work too well. Mabye hit and run squads of Infantry can hit a factory, loot it, and then high-tail it. Use civilian cars to carry them and their loot around, so they can't be easily tracked by planes, therefore giving them the chance to escape.

"Rommel? Who on earth is this chap? I would have expected Himmler or Hess to becoming Fuhrer"

"That's what we assumed at first, but as it turns out, Oberst..." Halifax looked at him curiously, "...that's Colonel, Prime Minister, Rommel used his position as commander of Führer-Begleitbattalion..." another quizzical look came from Halifax "...the Late Führer's personal protection battalion, sir, to achieve power"

"Very well. Now, what do we know about this Rommel chap?"

"Army Intelligence has this on him, sir. Not very much I'm afraid. We weren't expecting him to amount to anything that would warrant serious investigation."

"Well, I'll have a look at what we've got"

He picked up the manilla file and opened it. He examined the 'photo of Rommel, which was taken during the Great War:

While president Roosevelt was busy in the Rose Garden, instructing two Navy seamen to bring him specific roses when the Secretary of War joined him, accompanied by General George C. Marshall (Chief of Staff, US Military).

"Mister president, there have been some dramatic happenings in Europe. Herr Hitler has been assassinated by the head of his bodyguards, and there are riots in Luxemburg. Also, the Japaneese want more oil."

"Oh really? Ah well. It's none of our concerns about that stuff in Europe. We're neutral, remember?" The president looked back at his roses before continuing. "Send the following to the Japaneese. We would be delighted to sell you more oil once you stop your invasions in China as they are coming closer and closer to our forces in the Philliphines. After all, we do have our national security to consider."

The secretary nodded to this and had the telegram sent immediately.

There had been no response from Finland and now the troopsw ere organizing for an attack. The divisions in Leningrad would push up through Karelia while the two divisions outside Murmansk would try and split Finland in two by reaching the Gulf of Bothnia. The Baltic Fleet would bombard Helsinki and spread propaganda.

The frontline:
The roar of the mighty field guns echoed over the filed as they fired their deadly shells in a hige arc upon the Finnish side of the border. Once an area had been bombarded the tanks would secure it while the infantry cleansed it. Then the artillery would be moved up and bombard the next area.

In the north, however, the divisions advanced at a greater speed, not caring for artillery bombardement. Speed and urprise was essential for their mission to succeed.

Pro-Nazi gangs were rioting throughout the Netherlands, and many strikes were crippling the country. The assembled masses could be heard for miles, their cry of "Heil Hitler! Luckily, the riot was ended peacefully and there were no casualties, but orders from High Command had come, stating that if any other riot occured the army should use force. Things were looking grim.

Hans Schimmel, the commander of the Dutch Armed Forces, sat down at his desk and began to write a letter, adressed to Hendrikus Colijn. He had been considering the poor training and equipment of the Dutch army in the Netherlands. They had had no combat experience, unlike their East Indies counterparts, and were ill-equipped with weapons used in the Great War. So, he had decided to request additional funding, equipment and training for the Dutch troops. He finished off his letter, sealed it and called for his secretary to mail it.

The next morning, Colijn recieved the letter. He read it through and quickly approved it. He had also been considering this. After that, he himself sent a telegram:

To all who would be friends with the Netherlands

We would politely request any countries who consider themselves friends of the Netherlands and the Benelux countries would open themselves to military trade with us. We seek any and all technology, and will pay you handsomely. We would also ask for a small, elite contingency of soldiers from any friendly country to serve as drillmasters for a short period of time. We will offer quick leave to them, no matter recent events, and generousity will not go unnoticed.

Anthony Eden - Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs
Leslie Hore-Belisha - Secretary of State for War
Lord Stanley - Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs
Malcolm MacDonald - Secretary of State for the Colonies
Sir John Simon - Chancellor of the Exchequer
Lord Swinton - Secretary of State for Air
Duff Cooper - First Lord of the Admiralty
Sir Thomas Inskip - Minister for Coordination of Defence
Oliver Stanley - President of the Board of Trade

"Gentlemen, it has become clear that since the assasination of Hitler, there will be no need for appeasement in the forms that both I and my predecessor have previously advocated. We have, I hope and believe, no reason to fear the new German leader, Rommel. This Gentleman, whilst, I'll admit, not a career politician and of a very strong militaristic position, appears not to have neither the expansionistic ambitions nor the aggressive nationalism of his predecessor, the late Adolf Hitler... "

"However, he is still a military man, and will almost certainly continue with the violation of the disarmament articles laid down by the Versailles Treaty. Are we going to accept this?" replied Eden.

"I fear we have no alternative." replied the Jewish Belisha "Rommel may not be the best we could hope for, he is certainly better then Hitler"
There were general murmers of approval.

"Well, gentlemen, what are we going to do?" asked Halifax

"I have an idea." announced Lord Stanley "The Great War started due to the lack of communications between the the Triple Entente and the Central Powers. To prevent this, I propose the following: we must enter an alliance with France and Germany. These three nations have been to war too often over the last century, and there are, at the moment, no guarentees that we won't go to war again."

The table erupted in shouts of "Here, here!"

"Very well, Gentlemen. I shall communicate the French President and German Fuhrer right away"

As for the Japanese, they are our main enemies. As a newly developed country we have not had time to form enemies, but Japan has countlessly attacked our boarders and few colonies, and we intend to reply with a greater force at some stage. Their defiance must be stopped. Now that China has a foothold in your East Indian military bases, the Japanese will think twice about attacking, as they will encour the full wrath of the P.C.C.S, and we shall show no mercy. In return, Denmark is in need of tanks to modernise its defences as time passes, as the only tanks that the Danish army are in posession of are a few FP-4s and 5s and one 10-year old Italian Fiat 3000. On a seperate note, Denmark also wonders if the Netherlands would being interested in forming an alliance with Denmark.

Grand Naval Master Sha Ka Re looked over the bay, now called Yang Dezhi, in honour of the Commandant General, from the bridge of a Dutch heavy troop transport. The men assembled on the coast to wish farewell to the CCS Yu Wang Shang Ti. Sha Ka Re pressed a red button on the control pannel on the bridge. "Send her in," he said, pressing another button on the pannel and letting go of the first one. "People of the Confederacy," he boomed over the loudspeakers. The crowd on the shoreline fell silent at the sound of his powerful voice. "Today your hard work shall be paid off. I present to you the finest in Chinese construction, and the most powerful warship ever build. Ladies and Gentlemen, the CSS Yu Wang Shang Ti!" he shouted. The crowd errupted into chaos as the massive battlecruiser rounded the rocks into the cove. The ship was massive, dwarfing the troop transport. Its seventy five heavy guns shining in the sunlight. It had a large picture of the Confederacy icon, the yellow star in the red circle. The ship sailed into the middle of the bay and fired fireworks over the crowd from its large guns. Commandant General Yang Dezhi and Prime Minister Hendrikus Colijn of the Netherlands stood on the promenade deck, watching the fireshow. They turned to eachother and smiled, shaking hands. William Birdwood, leader of the ANZAC froces near Gallipoli and now Prime Minister of Australia paced nervously through his office. News from Europe told him that Hitler had been assasinated and a certain Rommel had taken his position. He also had a dutch proposal of military trade. Well, he had to answer negativly. The Australian Military had to concentrate on it's own re-arment. He had recently signed a reform bill for the army. He and his minister of Defence had drawn up a plan of remiliterization:

The Australian Army will be expanded to a fighting force of 175000 men and women with a reserve of 450000 men and women. All kinds of new inventions and modern arms like paratroopers and tanks will be introduced.
-2 Para divisions will be formed (7500 men each, 15000 total)
-10 armoured divisions, each 250 ValentineV tanks (1000 men per division, 10000 men in total) and 300 APC (2 crew, 6 passengers, 18000 total)
-10 Marine divisions of each 2700 men (total is 27000)
-10 Infantry divisions (each 10000 men/women, total 100000 men/women)
-the rest of the 5000 men/women will form the HQ staff

The navy wants some of the more "heavier stuff". According to trials, aircraft carriers, long range submarines and fast cruisers, frigates and destroyers are the most effective. The wish list of the Navy staff looks like this:

-3 Large carriers fit for 60 planes (plane type to be decided)
-9 escort carriers fit for 30-40 planes (dito)
-5 High Speed Cruisres
-7 High Speed Frigates
-12 High Speed Destroyers
-35 Long Range, 15000 NM, submarines

The Airforce is still working on its list.

In Pearl Harbor

Captain Ernest McWhorter looked down on the flight deck of the USS Yorktown. This aircraft carrier, being brand new since it had been commissioned only one year prior, was one of the mightiest vessels afloat. She carried a total of 84 aircraft, and had experienced pilots. Now she was heading out to patrol the waters around the Phillipines along with the rest of the ships that made up Task Force 77.1. The reports of possible Japaneese advances in that direction would hopefully be stopped dead in their tracks when they saw the mighty Yorktown.

"Mein Fuhrer!" Fritz looked up to see a Schmeilkern soldier standing in the doorway "yes?" Schmeil asked, knowing that by the look on the Scmeilkerns face it was bad news "a reasonably large group has ammased outside, they demand to speak with you!" Fritz sighed he knew what this was about, he got out of his seat and awaited the represantatives from the EinigNazi group, "Heil Hitler!" three men walked in and did the salute "what do you want this time?" Fritz had dealt with this group of radicals before "you know what we want, unification of the whole Nazi population by peaceful means, we can bear living under Rommels lead, we also know that Rommel offered peace and you turned it down, do you want this country to go to war?" the three men stared at Schmeil one of them was quivering "you gentlmen must understand that Rommel does not follow the doctrines of our savior Adolf Hitler, just take a look at his choice of Aides, thats right a dirty stinking Jew, now tell me, would you rather see the Nazis unified under Rommels pathetic twist on Hitlers grand plan, or would you rather see a unified Nazi population under the original Nazi scheme!" Fritz calmly poured himself a drink "now i'm a busy man so please tell me, who is it Rommel or Hitler?" The front man quivered "I support Rommel!" He stood firm and looked quite pleased with himself, Fritz looked calmly at his drink before, he snapped and threw his glass against the wall and drew his pistol and held it to the mans head "you still support your elustrious can't go wrong General!?" Fritz had gone bright red and his veins were showing, one of the men whimpered and then wet himself "your friend over their he seems to like his General friend so much, he's wet himself! So how much do you support your General, would ya' take a bullet for him?" the man was now shaking heavily "YES I WOULD!" Fritz turned and released a bullet into the wall, "i spit on your General! Leave before i make you take a bullet!" The three men ran down the corridor out, "Viktor, come in here!" A Schmeilkern Officer entered the room "take those men and the crowd outside over to Luxembourg prison, have Schmidt work on them, and remember i want them 100% loyal this time!"

The training of the drafted men has started. The total training will take 8 months and after that the men and women can be stationed throughout the commonwealth. Naval shipyards meanwhile are working non stop on building the submarines, frigates, destroyers and cruisers Navy Command has ordered. The Fleet Air Arm has also decided which planes shall be used on the carriers. The planes will be the Gloster Gladiator and the Supermarine Seafire. The airforce has also ordered 475 Supermarine Spitfires and 250 Hawker Hurricanes for fighter duties, 125 Armstrong Whitworth Whitley and 85 Vickers Wellingtons for heavy bomber duties and 175 Blenheim for light bomber and long range fighter duties.

All of the fighting equipment shall be made in Australia itself, as we have enough space, resources and technology to do it. Some factories need to be build but most of the required factories and ship yards already exist. The entire remiliterization project will receive priority and most of the labour and money will go to it.

The entire project will be finished in 2/ 2.5 years (2/ 2.5 RL weeks???) if everything goes according to plans.

The Rt. Hon. Sir William Birdswood,
In view of the situation in the far east, the Secretary of State for India and Burma Lord Zetland, the Minister for Coordination of Defence Sir Thomas Inskip and myself have agreed that it would be wisest to advise that you station and spare division that you have at your disposal to protect the Burmese and Indian northern and eastern borders. Whilest we understand that the negotiation between the former Viceroy and current Prime Minister gave you large degrees of autonomy, especially when it comes to military deployment, and that this discision is nobody's but that of you and your cabinet, we would like to advise you against any offensive military action at the time being. We fear that an offensive strike at this time would be a poor descision, as it would cause you to loose any defensive advantage you may have over the Imperial Japanese forces. This, combined with the current instability in Europe at the current moment that makes British Forces unable to aid you, leads us to advics you, for we can do no more than advise, to take a defensive stand until attacked. We do not want the Burmese border becoming the Somme.

We are starting at 1938. China is on the brink of collapse, and they posses no real naval ports with which to base a navy. Japan was just sniffing around for an excuse for war, and the western powers knew this. As a matter of fact, the western powers were just curled up in theirm "Corners" and mtrying to avoid mwar. This is why Hitler took advantage of the situation, as he was literally getting away with murder.

"The only proper training ground is the battle feild"
Well... something alomng those lines. I forget his exact words...

But needless to say, by the end of WW2, german pilots were better and much more experienced then the Americain pilots, as they had seen more combat time. Training is essential for learning how to fire your guns, steer, ect... but now how the enemy thinks, flys, and the limitations of his aircraft.

1,900 elite warriors armed with rifles as well as samurai swords for close quarters fighting

I seriously hope you are joking.
1). China by this time are reduced to conscritps and forced military service, willing or not.
2). the chinese never used swords in WW2. Let alone samurai swords which are JAPANESE, not Chinese swords.
3). The only "Elite" China had were White Russian exiles. the American's noted China's poor and shabby training and reduced them to a mainly logistical role when they joined the war.
4). The only advantage China held over japan was their overwhelmingly huge and untrained army.

This is begining to vex me.

Sirs,

China requests the purchase of fifty spitfire and/or other military attack planes from either country. The planes will be used to defend ourselfs against Japanese incursions and we are willing to play handsomely in money or in troops, as that is our strongest military resource and we wish to balance it out. We also are looking for warships for sale, any from the powerful British and American Navies would make our enemies quiver with fear. If either of your great nations are open to negotiation, please reply as soon as possible. Regards,

Commandant General Yang Dezhi, China
[Rant]OK.

CHINA IS DIRT POOR. They don't have a coast line. They have like 2 million troops starving and eating their own shoes for christ's sake. I would be seriously suprised if China could afford a billy goat.

What you COULD do is loan them to him. Because China can't even buy a car for god's sake.

And ESPECIALLY after the sack of the CHinese capital at nanking, their treasury is GONE. What was left of it, anyhow.

[/end Rant]

OCC: Vineyard is right. Yo never use Japanese swords. Chinese would never use Japanese swords because the Chinese hate those god dam Japs. So never use Japanese swors unless you killed Japanese officers and grabbed their swords and used it. Basically, China had unlimited people to conscript and kill the enemy or use Martial Arts, but it's unlikelythat all your people know martial arts.

Hail Premier Stalin! Once again I thank you for liberating our country from the capitalists! However, we have noticed that our fellow Scandinavian comrades, in Sweden, Norway and Denmark are still oppressed! We would request that they too be liberated. I have contacted my counterparts in these countries, and they have paramilitary forces ready to aid in a liberation. Thank you again Premier!
Stalin greets his proletarian comrades!
We do not feel that the people of Sweden nor those of Norway are ready for liberty just yet. They are still indoctrinated and confused by capitalistic propaganda. In the future, however, these things must be discussed once again.

It was five weeks before the promised General Election in the UK. The National Labour Party's candidate was obviously going to be there current leader and leader of the opposition. Sir Archibald Sinclair would remain leader of the Liberals. Sir Oswald Mosely would run with his blackshirts, they might win a couple of seats, but they didn't have enough candidates to even contemplate winning.
The Conservative's were in a dilema. Halifax didn't want to run, and it would have been unacceptable to the population to allow him to run as an unelected Lord. The possibilities were the Malcolm MacDonald, but he was only 38; Eden was the front runner, and a respected Foreign minister. However, there was a dark horse, the backbencher and former First Lord of the Admiralty Winston Churchill.

Marshall Ysevald had just recieved the go ahead from G.S. Mikhail to Train 25,000 more men(1 division)for the Paramilitary. There would be 15,000 Infantry trained with the PPSH41, TKS, Model3 Submachine gun, and the Tokarev TT33. 5,000 will train for use of the 43M Zrinyi II and 41M Turan II. The other 5,000 will train for various sniper, heavy machine gun, and armoured personel carriers to be dispersed evenly between each Company. This would truly help boost the morale of citizens and soldiers alike. It also would boost the numbers in the military from 200,000 to 225,000. Marshall Ysevald smiled, folded the paper, and dispatched his officers to order the various weapons and conscript the 25,000 men needed.

The new leader of the Conservative Party and Prime Minister stepped forward, following the General Election. It was the popular (although not in the Party) back bencher and former First Lord of the Admiralty, Winston Churchill. He had been decided for the position due to recent events in Germany, the far east and India. War loomed, and Winston Churchill, although a failure as First Lord of the Admiralty as shewn by the disasterous Gallipolli campaign, was the obvious choice. All the other politicians were, frankly, too weak for the job. The Conservatives election victory had not been a landslide, but they managed to keep the National Labour and Liberal parties. Unfortunately, Mosley had won a seat.

He took his seat behind the desk, and called his private secretary in:
"I want a report of our total military air and naval strength, in the UK, Palestine, and other colonies. Right away"
"Yes, Prime Minister"

The secretary returned soon with the large file. Churchill removed the summary from the file, and read it:

The committee of leaders of Lithuania, Estonia, and Latvia sat down and discussed the matter at hand. They knew that the USSR was about to go into a very heatful war, and it would be no surprise that they would be asked to help. Many people request that the three nations rebel against Stalin. However, the leaders realized that even though the USSR would be busy with the war... the three nations would still be completely demolished. They eventuilly came up with an idea. They thought that they could ask for more freedom from the USSR in exchange for helping them in this war. They wrote a letter.

To:Joeseph Stalin, Russia.
From: Lithuania, Estonia, and Latvia.

To the USSR,
As we can see, you are in a heated war, while still trying to control the nations you've invaded. It would be no surprise to you that we are not very happy about how we are ruled, however, we do know that Russia's military is great. We ask you now for a deal. But first, he checked in with his transportation adviser to see if the trains were running on time. He replied, "Sì, il signore! I treni corrono sempre in orario sotto la sua grande direzione!" Knowing that, he returned to his office to look over maps and write the letter to Germany and Japan.

Fellow Members of the Pact of Steel,

Italy intends to rebuild her military and conquer Albania as a military exercise. We just ask that you recognize the new goverment. But in addition, we will offer our assistance to handle any tasks your nations need, such as bombing il inferno a particular annoying nation.

Benito knew that the Italian Economy was horrible, but he did it anyway. He ordered the production of three-hundred Piaggio P.108B Bombers and six-hundred Macchi MC.205 Veltros for the Regia Aeronautica. He wanted to be ready to truely enter the wars, and the Regia Aeronautica was the first branch he wanted to update. Next would be the army, with new tanks and artillery from Germany (hopefully).

Not yet. We're waiting for the Japanese to attack Malaya (Malaysia), Burma or Singapore, as well as French-Indo China (Vietnam) or The Dutch East Indies (Indonesia), which belong to our allies. We will be at war soon, however Australia has independence (since 1901 in RL) and India has some autonomy (as per the RP), so they don't have to attack when the UK does; although India is preparing a pre-emptive strike.

OOC: Bolshevik/Bolchevik (spelling varies) is Russian for worker I believe.
Большеви́к or Bolshevik roughly translates to Majority and derives from a split in the Russian Social Democratic Labor Party, the other factions being the Menshiviks or minority. At the 2nd Congress of the RSDLP, Lenin argued for a small party of professional revolutionaries with a large fringe of non-party sympathizers and supporters. Martov disagreed, believing it was better to have a large party of activists. A majority of party members agreed with Martov and formed the Mensheviks, while Lenin's faction became known as the Bolsheviks. Although a majority of rank and file party members agreed with Martov, they formed a minority among the party leadership.

Thank God, once again, for wikipedia

Britain had 50 divisions in RL in the UK. All those figures I used are RL figures.
We still have 40 divisions in the UK. And seeing the only two countries it looks likely we'll go to war with are Luxembourg and Italy, I think 40 divisions (pre conscription) is enough. As for being at war, I never said we were. However, by 1938 Japan held the eastern third of Japan, which means that the Japanese Empire holds the border to French Indo China, an allies colonies, and Malaya (through Siam, a Japanese ally-ish at the time).

Losses: 38 Bomber planes to ground fire and hit and run fighter attacks.
12 fighters
300 troops who staggered into a massive booby trap.
1 tank. A rat got into the tank, and the tank commander was scared of rats. So he began to fire at the rat with his hand gun, which caused the driver to turn around to yell at him to stop. Unknowingly, the driver turned the Tank as he looked around, cauusing the tank to fall into a deep pool of water. every one made it out alive, but the tank is still down there. Rescue efforts are under way to save a fish who's fin was trapped under the tank.

I have to say I'm not certain; however by the wording of the website it seems like it is referring to divisions in the UK. There were nine divisions overseas during the war, and 24 independent brigades. There was also the British Indian Army, which was commanded by the British but comprised of Indian men.

Reggiane Re.2000 Falco I
Very capible and good fighter intercepor, the Falco I had:

-one 985hp Piaggio P.Xi RC.40 14-cylinder two row radial engine.
-Armamant: two 12.7 mm fixed forward-firing machine guns in the upper part of the forward fuselage, plus a bomb capacity of 800 kg.
-Preformance: 530 km/h climb to 6000m in 6 minutes and 10 seconds; service ceiling of 10,500m
-Range:1,400 km (aka 870 miles)

Unfortunately produced in low numbers for italy, this plane had massive export orders.

Reggiane Re.20001 Falco II, Re.2002 Ariete and Re.2005 Sagittario

These planes were of excelent design, but were seriously hindered due to the lack of a powerful engine. The italians didn't feel the need to develop vee engines, and these planes payed the price for it. If fitted with a powerful engine, these planes rule the skies.

Single seat fighter

-POWERPLANT; One 1175HP (876kW) Alfa Romeo RA. 1000 RC.41-la Monsoine 12-cylinder inverted vee engine (later used German engines, which were slightly better)
Note: can take off with 820 extra kg's.

-Armamnet: two 12.7 mm fixed forward firing machine guns in the upper part of forward fuselage and two 7.7 mm fixed forward firing machine guns in the leading edges of the wing.

-Performance: Max speed of 545 km/h Climb to 500m in 6 minutes and 20 seconds; Service ceiling 11,00m
-Range: 1,100 km (684 miles)

Macchi MC. 200 Saetta (Lightning)

First italian monoplane fighter. Again, under powered. Open air cock-pit, with no glass cockpit covering. (Italian pilots prefered it this way!)

-Power plant: one 870 hp (649 kW) Fiat A.74 RC.38 14-cylinder two-row radial engine

-Armamant: two 12.7mm fixed forward firing machine guns in upper front fuselage, plus an external bomb load of 320 kg (705 lbs)

-Performance: Max speed 503 km/h (312 mph); climb to 5000m in 5 minutes and 51 seconds. Service ceiling 8900m; range 870km (541 miles)
-Range: 870km (541 miles)

His Imperial Highness Reza Shah frowned as he reviewed the diplomatic and military assessments from the east. Only three years since the founding of the first modern University in his domain, and the world seemed to be flying by faster than he could help.

He called to the attention his Foreign Minister.

"I have decided", he started, "that we will adopt the Intellegence Service's proposal for an army reorganization. There will be a realignment into one Cavalry, and four Infantry divisions. But providing for them is beyond our capacity within Persia now."

"Therefore I want sourcing from powers that can provide high quality, and not likely to covet our dominions. Continue supply from Germany. Obtain vehicles and guns from them primarily. Work through commercial channels mostly. Extend our Krupp contracts whenever possible. Europe seems quiescent now, but there is always potential for trouble.

Verily, we cannot single-source arms, and leave ourseleves at the mercy of greater foreign powers and their conflicts. Japan could be a source, and we can increase trade and oil exploration with them. But this could be a source of friction with India as war grows in the orient. No. Send a delegation to President Roosevelt in America. Express interest in military equipment we can purchase from the United States, and both military and civillian advisors. We must advance literacy for our own commerce and wellfare. It will also be needed if ever there will be a demand for a greater army than we can provide now."

The minister rose and bowed deeply. "So it is said, so it shall be done" he replied, and left the room.

Intelligence Bulletin to the PM of Australia

After a build up of tension and alliances, the situation in Europe has cooled down. However, the nations of Turkey and Hungaria have turned Communist and have sought alliance with the USSR. Luxemburg is still blasting more propoganda and nonsense than it can fulfill.

The situation in Asia, more specific China, has gone completly out of control. Chinese forces have been defeated again and again but continue to fight the Japanese in an heroic, but foolish way. Massive bombardments have been made by Japanese Air Force and some reports speak of "a clear massacre worthy of Nanking" but it isn't confirmed by other reports. China and India continue to mount a foolish offensive which will certainly be defeated by the far superior Japanese forces. It is a fact, however, that if India will participate it will draw the commonwealth, and the world, in another war. Far more worse is that the commonwealth forces aren't ready even though GB and Australia have sent reinforcements. A quick roll over allied forces in SE Asia by Japan is almost certain.

We advise you that we musn't declare war for a nation which is already beaten decisevly or before our armed forces are ready.

The Prime Minister put down the report with a deep sigh and took a sip from the glass of water which stood on his desk. He turned towards the large map of Asia which covered an entire wall of his office. The situation was grave indeed. Asia stood upon the brink of war before Australia, and most of the world, was ready for it. He returned to his desk and wrote an order that production in the arms factories had to continue 24/7. With luck, the entire new army would be ready within 5 months. He then wrote the following message.

From the desk of HM Prime Minister of Australia, Sir William Birdwood, to the nations of India and China
HIGHLY SECURED

I urge you to not start your planned offensive. It will certainly draw the world in another vicious war and this time, Australia isn't ready. If you start an attack, Australia will not give its support because it can't give support. If you wait, Australia, and most of the commonwealth, can give effective support. If war erupts, Japan will have a good chance of overrunning allied forces in SE Asia and perhaps the Pacific and Asutralia itself. Meanwhile I advise you, especially China, to use guerilla tactics to endanger Japanese supply lines. Hit them in unsuspected places and at unsuspected times and hit him hard! It will certainly be more effective than the charge of thousands of badly trained troops on a well trained and equiped force which has an excellent moral. Once the time for an offensive is there (once Australia and the commonwealth is ready) we will certainly be present. If we take the time needed we can strike from all sides and defeat Japan.

But the time is not now...

Prime Minister Hendrikus Colijn,
The British Government is requesting your permission, with reference to the mutual defence agreement, to build a military bases large enough for one infantry division to be built in the Dutch East Indies. This force would be used to strengthen our military alliance and would be used to defend the your colonies in the case of Imperial Japanese invasion, and as a base of amphibous attack should the Imperial Japanese attack our colonies in Burma, Malaya, or Hongkong. We hope you agree to this, as it would benefit both our nations.

The large spotlights made the ship's hull gleam. The newly painted warship was beginning to look Chinese. No one would ever suspect it was Dutch. Three Dutch ships had already been repainted and sent into Japanese waters by nightfall. British Navy ships were also en route. Japanese sea convoys would be sent back to where they came from. Several hundred armed men arrived by nightfall, dressed casually with a letter from a "Eurpoean Friend With Common Interests". The men were quickly assimilated into the Chinese ranks. All Chinese troops had been called back from front lines and ordered to adopt a "Scortched Earth" tactic. The Chinese government was not willing to loose anymore men at the moment, they would bide their time

Though changes were all around them, the Czechoslovakians were still the unimportant centrel europeans which other nations didnt want dealings with. Peacefull offers for Bohemia and Moravia go ignored by Germany(Dont know where he is), so the offer is removed from the table.

(OOC -- Forgot leaders name, and dont feel like looking for it now)
*Insert leaders name here* had major changes instore. Production of the AVIA B.534 is on the increase, and production of the LT-38 is also on the rise. The standing army is to be increased aswell.

OOC -- For note, other nations had a small amount of the LT-38, 50 were exported to Iran 24 each to Peru and Switzerland and Latvia had some though it's like 10 or so, and all around 1935ish.

Your army was small, but one of the best trained and equipped in all of Europe. I can't find the actual size, but you suffered 7,000 military deaths; I would extrpolate that to mean you had an army of about 50-100 thousand. That's just an educated guess, mind you.

The merchant ships continued on course. Captain Kyun-Ji of the CSS Yu Wang Shang Ti held the microphone up to his mouth again and motioned for a communications link. "Unidentified convoy leader. Under order of the Chinese Curia you are not permitted to enter the warzone. Leave immediatly or be destroyed." he stated. The ships did not reply. "Fire a warning shot across their bow," he said cooly. The ships loud guns boomed, sending shells across the mecrchant ship's bow, exploding on the waters surface. "Anything yet?" he asked the communications officer. The man shook his head. Kyun-Ji held the microphone to his mouth again. "Captain," someone yelled. He spun round. "Sir, they're doing something on the lead ship," the man said. Kyun-Ji clicked his fingers and a man brought him a set of binoculars. Someone was raising a flag on the ships mastpole. It was Japanese. Kyun-Ji picked up the microphone. "Destory them all," he ordered. The three Chinese battleships opened fire on the veseels until they sank.

Several men floated in the freezing cold water as teh Chinese ships sailed by. Chinese sailors stood on the decks with machine guns and shot them where they floated."That was for Nanking you bastards" gthey roared from the decks. This war was only just beginning....

Holy Cow. God-moding. I rped your forces because you were ignoring it for days. But this is outrageous. Don't do it again. I will let this one slide.

IC:
The communications officer remained jittery at the prospect of allowing some kind of enemy ship to come in and sink the enemy. but, the plan had worked, and the decoy convoy manned by a skaleton crew had worked. the enemy had just put the nose around their own necks.

The enemy had been lured into a semi circle of Japanese navies that had been monitering alarming telegrams comming out of Beijing 9Remember, i have it completely surrounded). The last Fleet had just moved into position, closing the circle. In mere minutes, the Chinese ships (really dosen't qualify for a navy) would be attacked by a huge swarm of Zeros.

The zeros swarmed in, using cloud cover and the night to cover their movements. They suddenly dove in waves, dropping their bombs with the percision they had done for years. Unfortunately for the Chinese, they were just sitting still, not moving an inch.

The battle ships, destroiers, corvetts, subs, and frigates closed in. Using their forward guns to fire while on the move. They would all swerve to the left in unison, with the smallest ships in front and the largest in back in order to utilise the full firepower of the japanese navy.. If the chinese survived the massive zero attack, they wouldn't survive this.

-South of Beijing-
:: Cut communication. We have learned enough from their communications system. Let them retreat and burn their own villages. it will just make it harder for their counter attack. keep bombarding beijing, and sit back on your heels and dig in. 5 armies are slated to reinforce all positions tomorrow morning.::

*All telegram lines were then cut and radio chinese radio systems were taken out. Beijing had fallen silent.*

<SECRET IC>

We would wish to help you with an assault on the Japanese, but this may well cause war in Europe. We will, however, send a large force, mainly of infantry but with some armoured cars, to aid you. This force MUST remain anonymous, however. If word got out that we where helping you, the unrest in Europe would be escalated to critical levels. We will also send unmarked Fokkers to bomb Japanese positions. The army will arrive by night, wearing unmarked uniforms. I truly believe that a vast array of nations are behind you, but will not offer help for fear of Germany and Italy. We shall try to turn around their views, but can promise nothing. Good Luck!!

Prime Minister Hendrikus Colijn

ooc: Remembering that I had surrounded Beijing, i have unadulterated access to their communications system, which is being monitered at all times. And, according to China, their war offices are located in Beijing.

IC:
"Outposts have confirmed, we got those incomming dutch planes."
"The poor bastards won't be expecting this."
"Right. No fighter escort."
"But think of the countless nutural nation's borders they would've had to violate to get here!"
"I know, its unsettling. Judging on the way they are still alive I take it there is more than one nation 'in' on it."
" Indeed. Oh, and are those subs in position?"
"Lets just say, if those Britts become arrogant enough to attack us, they won't have anything to attack with!"

"They are being delt with ma'am."
"Of course they ar. I ordered it."
"Brilliant ma'am. I have drawn up atta..."
"Then burn them."
"ma'am!?"
"I said burn them. The attack planes. We cannot even pretend to have any knowladge of their involvement. Remember those cut communications? Bring them to life. We will issue messages impersonating China. Include everything, even bull-shit supply comments and orders. oh, and radio stations. Set up imposter ones with sound-alike Chinese speakers manning them as the radio hosts. China's allies won't suspect a thing, as they have no knowladge of our surrounding Beijing. Which means the chinese are just figuring it out now. Those inbound Dutchies don't know it either. Set up an ambush for our guests. I want some ranking officer captured, thank you."
The general was speechless. This was a simply amazing plan!

-ENCRYPTED (CHINESE) TELEGRAM TO THE DUTCH-

We need more troops for our counter attack. Please send your entire army to Beijing! Our massive attack will catch japan unprepared and drive them to the sea! Let us coordinate your army movements with mine, so we can out manuver and link up to the south! lets slaughter those Japanese idiots together!

Commandant General Yang Dezhi

-Manchuria-
Seven entire armies were thrown into the lines, causing a "ripple" effect. this caused the Southern cut-off army to be hugely reinforced. scout plane patrols increaced and the troops were put on high alert. As soon as the enemy were spotted, they would set up an ambush judging on their movement. If the dutch DID send their whole army, it would be crushed by the suprise attack.

ooc: This has to be up there as one of my most brilliant moves. Reminds me of the time in RTW, where i had a few sword infantry and the enemy had a massive (elite) calvery force. Our intellegence agents have informed us that activity in the Chinese-Japanese war is building. While the two countrys already are fighting strongly, sources from other partisons say that unidentifiable planes have been flying over. Also, sights of unidentified fleets are already headed in that direction. We think that if the situation does elevate... Russian borders with those two nations might be in danger.
