Who asked your opinion homophobe!!! HOMOPHOBE!!! (homophobe = someone who is afraid of gays, I am not one myself, but respect their rights)
What is really sad is that you posted a message just to call us sad! I'd prefer to have a hobby like this that involves (dangerous word coming up for you now.....) THINKING and (another one....) LOGIC than to be a COMPLETE looooser who has nothing better to do than to critize other people. Who's lame now, prat, no even... SUPER PRATTY HOMOPHOBIC BILLY-NO-MATES!
Btw, work on your spelling and grammar next time you decide to critise people!

Anyway, prat aside.
The nids were confused and stopped until the Hive Mind screamed at them to get moving! The orks had shown some intelligence. If only they could explain that there were more things to choppa inside the caves. Maybe another wave up their backside would convince them to get moving. The wave attacking the Tau ran through them and down the valley towards the Orks. Following more Hive Mind screaming, the other Nids turned to face the orks. Even they should realise that something like this was BAD NEWS!!!
(btw, just a hint, the orks may think that this was the plan all along, to distract them and attack their rear. You can use this if you want, but probbaly wont.)
Oh, and I knew the conspiracy thing was a joke, I wasn't taking it seriously, I was just in a bad mood, sorry.

The Tau were in disrupted and damaged by the 'nids. The kroot reserve had provided some protection, luckly. Now however was a different matter, the tyranids were running through there ranks attacking what came in range but not focusing their attack. Had there Devourerer of Worlds gone insane. Tha Tau did not shoot those running through them as they tried to get out the way.

When the wave of nids had passed O'Or'es shouted the command "Reform". He then put his long distance communictor on Tau frequnecies. "All Tau from whatever sept. Transmit to me your location. If you can attack the Orks or Tyranids your help would be much thanked. For the Greated Good."

Brother Santanus peered through the visualisor on the Razorback, out of interest's sake. "OH SHI-. COMMANDER!" Ivano heard the shout and rushed over. The tide of war was being forced in their direction, if they were unlucky the idiot Xenos might run into the caves. Ivano had to act.

"Long Fang Pack Alpha, bring down the tunnel entrance, use everything you need to."
"Santanus, pull back the vehicles and troops, the roof's coming down."
"Kyo, tell the other commanders. Get their men moving."
"Archaelus, take postion to combat the first wave. Make bottlenecks in the gaps. Nothing is to get through. If we fall the rest fall around us."
"Ramenov, get Long Fang Pack Bravo to me. I want demolition charges strategically placed 100 yards behind us. If we need to fall back, we are bringing the tunnel down on top of them. Give me the detenator."

A series of "Yes my Lord"'s came back to him as he barked his orders. The northern tunnel would not be taken, and if it was, it would be annihilated in a few moments. He lifted Loki and Nori. "You will taste blood again, my friends."

He watched as the rockets and lascannon beams tore into the ceiling, bringing down a wall of rock between them and the outside planet, reaching about half way up the tunnel. "Get 2 Tactical Squads on that ridge, and get me the other Commanders."

"Captain Keyes, good to see you. We have a situation here. The Xenos may come our way. I would be grateful if you could arrange your other troops in the way you best deem fit. I hope we can fight side by side this day."

Ivano looked at the Ultramarines before him. They were fine marines indeed. The stories were true, of the honour and glory of the sons of Roboute Guilliman. He was proud to have command of such fine warriors. He ordered two Tactical Squads of them onto the ridge to fight alongside his own two. He arranged the rest in a semi-circular formation with his own men, best utilising their close-quarter firing strength. This tunnel would be the rock upon which the foul tide would break.

As the orks formed a circle, the burna boys managed to get near the outer edge and began incinerating vast swaths of tyranids forces, leaving smouldering corpses and steaming mud in the wake of the flames.

ooc:In a last stand position which the orks are in, the attacker(tyranids) is actually at a great disadvantage not the defender(orks). Ivano looked quizically at Captain Keyes. "If the Xenos do not attack us, then we will wait until one has wiped out the other, then we shall counter attack the survivor. One way or another we shall do battle with them. We must be wary of the Eldar however. They are hiding something from us, they are not to be trusted. If we still have strength after the Xenos, we must decide upon the best way to deal with the Eldar. in the meantime, do not let your men become to close to the aliens, they have ways of influencing the most loyal soldiers. I for one will not fall to their wicked ways. Make sure you are the same."

Ivano peered out at what Keyes was mentioning. Tyranids, appearing to be looking for them. Brilliant. He gave a shrill whistle. His Wolf Guard bodyguards appeared behind them, the most elite veteran warriors available to any Space Wolf Lord. There were nine with him now, but he had around 40 spread out through the ranks, some assuming their own Grey Hunter commands. "Captain, make sure your men and mine watch our progress and lay down covering fire if it is needed. We shall be back soon." Ivano ordered his Scout and Long Fang Packs into covering positions on the ridge incase of...trouble.

"It's time to hunt alien." He leapt down the ridge to the outer plain, his Guard behind him, and skirted off to the edge of the forest. It was not long before they picked up the Xenos' trail. They were following a group of about twenty of the creatures, nothing special or overly large. They would do for now. Silently drawing their weapons, the began the chase.

"I demand to speak to Eldrad, leader of the Eldar. If he can't come forward, I would like someone I can speak to," Paleneus called out into the tunnels. He then gave the order for his snipers to be ready. If those space marines try any tricks..., he thought to himself.

OOC: A small introduction on my men:

They were space marines, but have gone rogue bascially (they aren't chaos however). Someone in the inquisition betrayed them (left them for dead on a world infested with chaos to cut a long story short), but they then covered up the story so that no-one would need to worry about the force. They assumed they were dead, but by complete chance some Eldar landed on the world before they were wiped out. They had gone there to kill the chaos, but when they saw the space marine chapter nearly wiped out they took the survivors and protected them. This Eldar didn't like the Imperium either, so they made an alliance with the Night Stalkers. In this world, the Night Stalkers have gone alone, as they still have large numbers depsite alot of their chapter being wiped out.

The Imperium could cover it up as they were a very new chapter. They were originally Ultramarines, but experiments were made on the geneseed, and they made the Night Stalkers. They have this name because they gained the ability of nightvision among improving their sight and combat skills in general. They are weaker than normal Space Marines however, and rely on surprise to win their fights (thats how the nightvision comes in - they often attack at night in a method of nothing happening one second, then suddenly tons of marines attacking all at once from all directions the next second).

The advantage they have is that few people know about them, and the people who do think they're dead. They can pass off as space marines, and then strike when their back is turned. In a real battle, they act similar to Space Wolves, but they aren't quite the same as they tend to be more nimble and agile than heavy and relying on force (I know Space Wolves are agile, but these guys are much more agile, but also weaker - in stats they would probably have strength 3 rather than 4).

I hope you have an idea of who my guys are now, and can guess why I called for Eldrad :p.

Ivano roared in joy as the gaunts leapt at him. He was slicing them apart with ease. It would take more than these to fell his men. Then he realised how many there were, and worried. Nevertheless his men were sofar unscathed, with the exception of Brother Enovus, who, after taking a talon to the shoulder, had been seperated from the group, presumed dead. Not many Wolf Guard ever died to minor troops, so now Ivano was angry. He felt the Wulfen blood in him begin to rise. His true self would join battle soon.

As they flush out and kill the rippers, lots of gaunts jump onto their backs and hack at them. But, becuase they are the almighty Space Wolves, they manage to turn around and charge the Nids before they get close. Hmmm.... plus, so far the Space Wolves are completely kicking the Nid ass. Eldrad made his way to the entrence of the caves and watched as the Night Stalkers filed in, smiling at there leader under his Rune armour he spoke, "It is not safe here, follow me, I don't want the Space Marines to see you. I'll give your men lodgings and then we must talk."

Once that had been done, Eldrad had given the Night Stalkers lodgings in the center of the caves, where the Marines wouldn't go, he took Paleneus to his room and began to speak. "I presume that you are curious why 2 craftworlds have landed on this planet and have taken over a isolated cave system, why 3 full chapters of Space Marines and several more Imperial forces have landed, and why Orcs and 'nids attack us."

"THe Mon-Keigh are here because we are, this is an Imperial world and they feel they must defend it. The Orc's are here because they feel like it, as are the 'nids. But turly they are all drawn to something, some power from the dawn of time, they all feel it yet they don't know it. Sub-conciously it draws them, and they, foolish and proud, in there deppest subconousness they know they could rule the universe with it."

"It is one of the Blades of Vaul, the Smith God, created to destroy the Night stalkers, 100 were created, and they defeated the Necron menice, and that of the Ing, only one survives."

"And, soon I shall control it, I shall defeat the Necrons and Ing once and for all and then lay it to rest in the infinity circits. I shall not be corrupted as I have seen, more than all the Eldar, the damage it does. It was this Blade of Vaul, that caused the Fall many years ago."

"You will have heard of the Talismans of Vaul, well, compared to the Blades they where nothing, a back up system, a last chance, a pisol alongside a Plasma Cannon. They may have, if the Blades of Vaul had failed, defeated the great enermy, but the chances of that where one in a million."

"If this weapon fell into the wrong hands then a new age of cruelty would dawn. With it we must defeat our enermy, and recleim the talismens."

OOC: Ok guys, looks like no-one was reading between the lines, I'll have to make my posts more obvious and boring in future, my fault. I did say that one of the guys had been dragged off. That's one out of ten men that's there, i don't have 3 or 4 of these guys spare to be dropping to mere gaunts. The 'dragged off' thing was a clue too. The Nid player said he wanted to re-introduce his Red Terror, I provided an opportunity. I was not GMing, I never do. I figured if my best troops were a bit tough then he would send something larger. I mean, logically, what are some gaunts and rippers going to do to the Wolf Lord and his Chapter's best men. I pictured a more honourable death than that.

So if you want, here's an opportunity to bring back your beastie. IT will no doubt kill a couple more of them, after all they are the best I have to fight with, so I hope you'll understand I'd rather not expend them fighting basic units. :)

Ivano suddenly realised the absurdity of the Space Wolves' position. No-one would reach them through the gap left at the end of the tunnel from the roof collapsing. That meant if, or when, the other marines were broken, the Wolves' would be attacked from behind. And Ivano for one did not want to die facing the wrong way.

He began barking orders in his customary fashion, arranging his Marines into basic battle formation at the rear tunnel entrance. He would not, however, leave the tunnel unguarded. There was a seemingly abandoned Guard regiment waiting at the end of the tunnel. He moved their heavy tanks up to the tunnel entrance, to continue pounding the exterior hoarde. He filled the tunnel with the remainder of the infantry, mostly conscripts and teenagers. They were no soldiers, but they would have to do. Only then did Ivano notice the Eldar group that had been positioned beside were the Guard had been moments before. He glowered at the senior most figure among them.

"What are you looking at, alien?" He spat at the Eldar. "Why don't you go and make yourself useful, join in a fight somewhere. You have no purpose here." The Eldar did not move. "What's wrong? Are you afraid? You alien scum are all the same, weaklings, cowards." He spat on the ground at the Xenos' feet. He knew he had lost his temper, and he would probably regret it, but for now he did not care. He gave a quick wave of his hand for his Company to follow him, and he set off towards the distant gunfire.

Kyo surveyed the scene in the tunnel. There the guard stood, some looking nervous, others cocky. It made no difference, they would all inevitably die in this conflict. Lord Wolfenstein was not so foolish as to leave the Guard alone with the Eldar, so the Scout Sergeant had volunteered himself and his best men to remain hidden in the tunnel, to supervise silently. The Eldar needed to be watched.

OOC:

I took over that Guard section because I'm figuring the Guard player has left, so somebody had to make use of some of them.

This isn't an attempt to sabotage the whole Eldar corrupting weak humans plot, that is still open, the Guard are as weak minded as before, and this way i figured the Eldar have someone to RP it out with.

The Dreadnaughts and Devastators sat there, able to fire into any enemy that approached. The Tactical squads rammed new magazines into their bolters, and knuckled down. The Scouts fell back with their sniper rifles, watching, waiting...

The Night Stalker snipers all pointed their guns at the Tau Pathfinders. "Drop your weapons" the Sergeant called. The Pathfinders, realising they were greatly outnumbered, lowered their weapons.

*On the radio* "Scout Squad 5 reporting sir!"
"What is it?" Paleneus was on the other end.
"We have captured some Tau pathfinders, and are awaiting your instructions"
"Bring them to me, but cover their eyes. We don't want them finding out how to get here"
"Roger that"

The Scout Squad took the Pathfinders' weapons, and put blindfolds on them. "Try and take those off, and I will shoot you myself!" He warned. They then began to lead the Pathfinders deep into the caves.
Meanwhile, Paleneus was contacting Eldrad.

IC: Karit heard the shouts from the Ultramarines, and the collapsing of rocks in the Space Wolf sector,"Bring the tunnel down, and fall back!" he yelled, moving with his squad. The heavy weapons fired into the roof again and again, eventually causing the roof to collapse in on itself
WTF?!?! If I hadn't of messed up and attacked someone else's tunnel (possibly) you would not have collapsed yours! So, basically that's unfair. I've decided that I probably got Snake Eaters mixed up with Shinbreakers (similar names) sooo....

The Red Terror popped up behind all of your men and started eating things that didn't run away. The main Nid force (followed by Orks) attacked them from outside. Some Marine reinforcements (from shinbreakers i think) helped to fend off most of the Nids, but in the end they had to barracade the end of the tunnel and reinforce it to try and stop the Nids getting in.

If anyone has any problems with this... TOUGH! Nah, just say and we'll sort something out.

Ivano was glad to see the two Black Angel Commanders with him. He nodded at each as they arrived, and began laying out his plans. "Commanders, we cannot win this fight from here. We have our backs to the wall and are vastly outnumbered. Besides that the Eldar are behind us, and I do not trust them any more than the Orks outside. They will attack us when we are weak, such are their vile ways. I propose we attempt an escape. The tunnel I collapsed can be re-opened. Several Leman Russ Battle tanks remain in that tunnel, they could blow a gap in the rubble. I think we could mount our men in the transports, as many as we can, and attempt to punch a way out. If we can make it clear of the hoardes a Space Wolf Fleet awaits us and can lift us off the planet. We can hold your troops for a while, until your ships arrive. Some men may have to be left behind at first, but once out we can return for them, stronger, and win this fight. It is not impossible, but it is difficult. All I need is your consent, and the consent of the other commanders, and we can start moving. I pray you think about it for a while, as I contact the other commanders. For now, we fight on."

Ivano turned and headed off through the ranks, in search of Captain Keyes, and the commander of the Night Stalkers.

Hasselhof and the Grey Knights were advancing steadily towards the cave. They were well on their way when they were ambushed by an small, unruly and apparently leaderless band of Kroot. The Marines opened fire, quickly sending the Kroot scurrying.
"They appeared to be leaderless," the captain noted.
"Indeed. It would appear that their services were not needed and they have resorted to piracy," Hasselhof replied. "I expect their leader has abandoned them. After all, they are on nobody's side. They're pretty much fair game for everyone." He attracted the attention of a scribe. "Make a note: after our primary objectives have been acheived, we must mop up any dangerous xeno survivors, if we wish to take complete control of this planet in the name of the Emperor."

The army continued on their way across the now barren, muddy wasteland, amongst the huge craters that scarred the land and the few traces that remained of the once expansive jungle. In the distance, the scouts could hear the inhuman* screeches of tyranids and the roar of the Ork Waagh...

At the moment I think the Tyranids are mainly inside one of the tunnels and are trying to force the Orks away from them without committing too many Nids. The end of the tunnel has been collapsed and the Space Marines are hiding behind the rubble, hiding in the Eldar cave complex like little wimps. That's the way I understand it, but I haven't heard from the Orks recently so I'm not sure.

All too little, though, did any of the Eldar or Imperials know of the moon of Cathrian. For millions of years ago, the Necrontyr had built one of their tomb complexes on this barren rock. And the ancient machine power was hungry...

Soon yet another front would be opened on the war against the Necrons. But all battles would fail before this unholy power, for with the legions of the Necrons another, far older presence lay hidden. The Outsider. One of the four remaining Ctan star gods to wreak doom upon this unhappy galaxy. In the words of Farseer Maeshu of Craftworld Ulthwe, the "writhing, inverted geometries of the Outsider curl and tighten around his harvest as they clamber and crawl like vermin around his illogical labryinth."

The maze on the deserted moon was made of the insane thoughts of that deadly god. Once he leaves, it will collapse. But so what? Organics by the trillions are ready to be harvested. And the battle overhead would merely whet his appetite.

The Long Fangs opened up onto the rocky barricade, tearing chunks out of the mound they had themselves created a day before. The rubble gradually wore away under the barrage of heavy weapons fire, and sunlight poured into the tunnel. The lead Rhino tore through the gap, closely followed by the rest of the convoy. Ramenov smiled, some of his brothers would live through this battle.

Sergeant Kalos hoisted himself into position to man the Rhino's storm-bolter. His vehicle led the column that was escaping. It appeared to Kalos they had been lucky. The enemy was only now noticing the escaping marines, and only a handful of the Black Angels had not left the tunnel.

The Space Wolf's armoured column was almost a mile clear of the caves when Lord Wolfenstein ordered the halt. Ivano gave more orders, for the men to dismount, save the drivers and gunners. He called his Sergeants to him. "My brothers, the Ultramarine and Black Angels are in danger of being caught. There were many of their men on foot, so the transports are going to go back and retrieve them. Form a defensive formation, but keep moving. Follow Scout Sergeant Kyo's lead, he knows where to go. I will go with the transport. Emperor willing, I shall meet you at your destination." Ivano turned and boarded the lead Razorback, and sped off towards his fellow marines.

The Ultramarines and Black Angels on foot were in danger. The Orks nearest the exits had noticed the escape, and some were angling towards the marines. Ivano's vehicles met the marines alongside the remaining Ultramarine and Black Angel transports. Ivano hailed Keyes and Karit. "Commanders, get your men mounted, we must move quickly." The situation was healthy, for now. Ivano turned and stopped, stunned. Another large force was approaching. But what were the Tau doing here?! More importantly, who are they fighting for? OOC: A Cantabrian circle is a formation used by the steppenomads of eastern Europe and central Asia. You form a circle, riding roun and roun and firing against the enemy. That way, you create a constant flow of arrows/bolter fire/lasguns/whatever wich is highly demoralising, as well as minimizing the chance to get hit.

IC: Ivano leaped out of the Rhino and ran to where his Wolf Guard were positioned. The last of the transport convoy was arriving and deploying. The marines had taken up position on the foot of the mountainside, giving them cover, yet keeping a mountain pass open for extraction, if need be. Ivano gazed down onto the plain where fighting was still taking place. The Black Angel and Ultramarine heavy vehicles were struggling to outpace the Orks back to the Marine lines. The greenskins were pouring towards Ivano's position in droves, the vehicles at the front. There was their first mistake. Ivano lifted the satellite comms device.
"Fleet Commander, this is Wolf Lord Wolfenstein, are you ready?"
"This is Lord Bloodfang of the battle cruiser Fenris' Ghost, we are prepared."
"Excellent, have the fleet prepare to fire on the following co-ordinates." Ivano marked out the area not more than half a kilometre infront of them. The Marine vehicles would pass that point soon, accompanyed by a few thousand greenskins. The rest of the greenskins, mainly the armour, would near that area a few minutes later. As soon as that point was clear of Marines, the Space Wolf fleet in orbit would reduce everything in that proximity to dust and blood. Ivano smiled again. Today was a good day for battle. "Lord Bloodfang, on my signal, fire. It shall not be long. Also, send the drop ships, we may need reinforcements. Everything you have, if possible. Many thanks."

He ordered his two Long Fang Packs onto areas of raised rubble. He only had twenty men left under his command, all that could not be taken in the transports. No point letting them die needlessly. He nodded to Captain Keyes across the cave, and returned to his men. He started to recite the Litanies of Faith & Protection. Once these were finished he would bless the weaponry with the Litanies of Strength. He never was the most religious of the men, being an Iron-Preist his faith was more in machines, but now he needed all the help he could get, and as Lord Wolfenstein always told him, when needed, the Emperor Protects.

IC:
Keyes saw Ramenov lead his men in prayer and bless their weapons. If he knew the Space Wolf he would stay here with his men. So would Keyes, two squads of Terminators and two hundred and fifty marines, Julius should be with him too although he had gone deeper inside the tunnelsystem to pray alone. They would distract the xenos for a while, letting the others escape. He prayed to the emperor that they would succeed.

Brother-sergeant Mark responded ¨Away from here!¨ as he fired his bolter at the Orks.
That was the only respond from the Ultramarines, who hated to leave some of their men behind but their loyalty to their brothers was overcome by their loyalty to their commander, and so they followed his order to evacuate.

The Ultramarines Rhinos turned, facing away from the Orks and opened the doors. The Marines inside laid down heavy bolter fire as well as regular bolter fire in such amounts that an army of Squiggoths couldn't get to them (slightly exaggerated, yes. Figure of speech, yes.). Also, the Whirlwinds changed to regular rockets and fired into the midst of the enemy.

Ivano could see that the marine vehicles were being pushed back far enough. They were clear of the blast radius. Some of the Ork bikes and looted tanks were also rumbling clear, but the majority of the forward hoarde remained in the target zone. This would be fun. Ivano lifted the satellite comm set. "FIRE" Many miles above the fleet of the Space Wolf 16th Company opened up as one, raining death upon the field of battle. Macro-shells and magma rounds pummelled into the ground, followed by countless rockets, missiles and bombs, huge laser cannon rounds tearing down like lightning. The area containing the Orks became hidden from sight by gigantic clouds of dust and smoke, flying rubble, bodies and earth flooding the horizon. The Orks that had made it past the zone were beginning to panic, but Ivano could spot them rallying around a central figure. He would have to be dealt with. Ivano could not tell the extent of damage the bombardment had caused, but he had done what he planned. The Orks would have been stalled for now, and the broken and battered terrain would slow their advance more. Ivano spotted the dropships arriving under the cover of the smoke from the now ended barrage. Immediately he began moving his troops onboard, as quickly as possible. He hailed the Black Angel and Ultramarine commanders closest to him, and began talking. "Generals, we are withdrawing to the fleet, to collect ammunition and rations, and to heal the wounded. We have enough spare ships to take you all with us if you wish, but you must make a decision now. If we leave right away we can return to the field of battle within twelve hours, to retrieve our men and crush the enemy. Are you coming with us? You must decide now, while the enemy is confused and delayed. Are you coming?"

OOC: Theao, I've left it to you to decide casulties from the orbital bombardment. If you want it can be that not much died but your troops are going to be stalled for a while, but I'd like to think that that firepower would have killed a reasonable amount of troops. But like I say, it's up to you.

Ramenov finished the prayers and got the men into position. Things were eerily silent. Only the muttering of his fellow marines broke the deathly silence. He would have to investigate. Taking his bolter in one hand and his auspex in another, he went looking for other signs of life. The auspex showed his marines and Keyes' marines, the Black Angels, some Eldar further back, scattered Imperial Guard forces. It also showed another force, also Space Marine. Ramenov was not aware that there was other marines here. Perhaps it was that mysterious force that were moving through the jungle earlier. What were they called, the Night Stalkers? Ooops! I've missed a lot, but I perposely didn't post to create a sense of "What the hell are those Nids up too?!?!"
Some of the Orks had realised that, whilst they were too busy with the Marines, the Nids had gone, just completely dissappeared. One or two found a hole in the floor of the tunnel and so jumped in. Minutes later their corpses jumped out again. Acid fired up from the hole and hit the ceiling. Again and again it shot up until the roof collapsed and the entrance to the hole was covered by rubble. This the Space Marines DID hear, and it made them more scared than the silence had!

Ramenov stared intensely at the auspex. The device said there was marines. He had followed the device's direction, yet appeared to have bypassed them. He turned around and headed back the way he came, intent on finding the hopefully loyal forces. He came to his senses, taking in the situation around him. His thunder hammer was bouncing steadily along against his armour. Snap, snap, snap. How could he be so foolish? He could be dead because of not paying the proper attention. He mentally shook himself and carried on, keeping a close eye out. Hearing muttering up ahead, and the clicking of weapons, he slowed himself down, this had to be them.
The Iron Preist stopped dead in his tracks, not daring to move a muscle. The slight amount of pressure on the back of his head told him there was a gun barrel held to it. Not any gun though. Ramenov had gone through extensive weapons classification training on Fenris, on his road to preisthood, and manufactured many of the Chapter's weapons himself. And no Space Marine carried an Exodus sniper rifle. Ramenov wondered to himself, wondered how an assasin came to be on this world, and more importantly, what was it about to do?

"I am Paleneus, master of the Night Stalkers. And you must be..." He looked at his armour, and then his face, "...Ramenov. I've heard alot about you. Maybe you should be quieter" He smiled, "And this sword I have at your neck, you are probably wondering why it glows this blue colour. Well, once you find out, tell me, I have been wondering the same thing for many years. I got this from my father, who gave it to me as he died. It is stronger than a power weapon, being able to cut through any substance with ease. One man tried to study it, and went mad. This sword is evil, from somewhere we will never go, yet I am controlling it right now. I have all its power in my grasp, ready to unleash it on you. This is what will happen if you try anything. And another tip, don't try and use it against me. One man did that, and didn't feel very well afterwards" He looked at his face closely, "I know what you're thinking right now. You think we are chaos. Well, do you see any mutation? Does this sword even look like a chaos creation? There are worse things than chaos. Those worse things created this weapon. We are not chaos, we are not those worse things, we are like you. The reason why we don't fight with you is we were betrayed. The Imperium betrayed us, left us for dead. They believe we are dead, and I think its time for them to know the truth. Go back to your men, and contact the inquisitors. One of them is sure to know us, and be overjoyed at the thought of us being alive still and with powerful allies. So go now" He took his auspex from him, and stepped back, "No man will shoot you unless you resist. We are offering you a free road out of here, and you wont come to us again. If you do, we will shoot you on sight, and I mean you. Its completely up to you"

Ramenov thought slowly and clearly to himself. He had to calm and compose himself, which was not an easy thing for an insulted Space Wolf to do. He breathed slowly, contemplating the situation. If he had heard the marine right he was in grave danger, not just because of the weapons held to him. They spoke of not being of chaos, but worse. But Ramenov had picked up on one thing. They spoke blasphemy to the highest degree. The said the Holy Emperor, he from whom all Space Marines were born, had betrayed them . He had heard those words once before, from Chaplain Beraticis of the Blood Dragons. Ramenov had personally decapitated him as he became possesed by a daemon of Slaneesh. This would not do. "Very well, I shall leave this place. And I shall find your Inquisitor. He shall learn of your presence, as will our fellow marine brothers. As for my not returning, that shall depend on how you conduct yourself in this battle. If I detect Chaos presence, you shall taste my hammer, and the axes of the Space Wolves. We do not tolerate heresy. Farewell."
Ramenov brushed aside the sniper rifles. and stalked off through the caves, out of the Night Stalkers' sight. Instead of finding more allies he had discovered potential enemies. Not Chaos indeed. Now to find those Inquisitors.....

--ON BOARD BATTLECRUISER FENRIS' ANGEL--

Ivano nodded at Gabriel. "Exactly my thoughts, brother. We shall mount a collective attack and breakout. With these re-inforcements my Wolves now number 950, plus vehicles and aircraft. Not many forces can withstand so many marines, with ours, yours and the Black Angels we shall be indominatable. Go to your men. Order the healing and re-arming. We must make haste. I will send Scouts to the planet, you may do the same if you wish. Emperor Protect, brother." Ivano turned and boarded a shuttle to take him to his men, he needed to find Scout Sergeant Kyo, another mission beckoned.

The Space Wolf commander left, leaving Gabriel alone with his thoughts and concerns. They had to rescue their commander who were trapped in the maze of caves, so he could lead them to victory... but if Keyes somehow died it would mean that he, Gabriel, would command the Ultramarines. Yes, a shot in the dark, it would look like an accident and nobody could blame him.
Yes, the thought is a sweet one isn't it? someone whispered in his head. To wield the power of a thousand of the best warriors in the universe, to counquer the galaxy, to have everything you did ever dream of and even more. What the Emperor never gave you. Isn't it? the voice continued.

In space, on the other side of the planet.

The warp drew closer, slowly but surely. Things began to materialize inside, but they were not ready yet, they would not consume this planet... for now.

ic: "O'Or'es. We have made contact with a small number of tyranids. We are remaining at a distance. Shall we retreat?"

"Yes. I will prepare a strike force for you to take them out." O'Or'es turned from the portable comms. "Three crisis suits with flamers and some pathfinders with rail rifles. Form up for a strike forcer into the caves."

OOC: I don't mind, more Adeptus Astartes the better

IC: As the Black Angels that had stayed behind with Chaplin Hanst readied themselves for a Tyranid assualt, the men who had left on the vehicles set up a staging platform for the deployment of more armoured support. Dreadnaughts, Land Speeders, Whirlwinds and Predators were the order of the day, to bolster the damaged Rhinos. Karit looked through the viewer of his helmet, focusing on the caves. Many were collapsed, and the Orks were regrouping. They fight with an animal cunning, one that must be extinguished before it theatens to consume us all. I just hope Hanst can hold up in there until we return. We must wait for Ivano to return, and then we can move

Above the planet a white scars battle barge deploys multiple drop pods and a thunder hawk gunship with a predator. Inside the battle barge the white scars chaplain (Julius) leads the main assault force in prayer. in the drop pods there are scout squads and assault marine squads waiting for the rough landing.

OOC; Just so you know, a Thunderhawk can carry nearly half a company of Marines, without vehicles. So it's a waste deploying a single Predator in a Thunderhawk, when you could deploy three or four. Just nit-picking really

OOC: I don't mind the Necrons joining, as long as they keep in line with the story and don't try and change too much. As long as you don't spam this thread and RP good, I’m happy letting you in. Same for the White Scars guy. Also, could both of you read what has happened so far. It might take a while but you have to know the full story if you want to be a part of it.

IC: Ivano shook his head, ridding his mind of the dark thoughts within. The nearing warp storm was projecting images of Chaos and dark thoughts in their minds. He trusted his men to resist as he was doing. It was a tough test on the younger members of the Company, their minds not toughened against such evils. He would have to watch them; if they fell he would have to take the necessary actions. For a moment he wondered about the Ultramarines, particularly their young commander. It was only a moment though, the Ultramarines were too faithful to the Emperor, no evil would even enter their minds, of that Ivano was sure.

He turned to the Admiral of the vessel. "My men are ready to return planetside. Contact the White Scars, I shall contact the Ultramarines, let them know our intentions."
"Aye Sir."
Ivano returned to the shuttle to return to the Ultramarines, while the Admiral opened a communications channel to the White Scars.
"This is Admiral Trepanov of the Space Wolf vessel Fenris' Angel. What is your business in this system?"

--IN THE CAVES--

Ramenov returned to his Long Fangs, making it through the caves without any other meetings. His men could tell what had happened. One of the great veteran Wolves asked him. "Iron-Preist, is something wrong."
"Not yet," Ramenov replied, "but yes, something could be very wrong indeed. I shall speak further with you all later."
He turned away, in search of Captain Keyes amidst the Ultramarines. He found him, and brought him aside to talk. "Captain. We may have a problem..."

Templar watched as the Orks headed away from the cave system,Good. We should be able to return without engaging in further, and potentially costly battles.

Commander Karit stood beside his old friend,"We should inform the Wolf Lord, and Brother-Captain Keyes what has occured here."
"Agreed. Brother-Chaplin Hanst should should also be told"
Karit opened up a select comm-channel, one that encompassed all of the force commanders,"Brothers, the Orks are moving away from the cave system. They are proceeding on a bearing of 270, and it appears that the large majority are going."

Keyes saw a shadow coming up along the cave and hid himself behind a large rock. His grip around his powersword tightened and he was ready for battle.
Yet, the shadow was no enemy, but the ironpriest of the Space Wolves.
Ramenov or something like that. Keyes thought as the ironpriest spoke.
We may have a problem he said.
When wasn't there a problem? We are trapped inside these caves with the Eldar, the Orks and Tyranids are outside and I haven't heard of the rest of my marines since they left the planet. Keyes said.

Ramenov smiled at the Marine's comments. True, when didn't they have a problem. "I encountered another Space Marine Chapter within the caves. They call themselves the Night Stalkers, and claim to be loyal to the Emperor. However their leader carries a possessed weapon, and they speak in blasphemous ways. They cannot be trusted, and I feel that we may soon be joined by the evils of Chaos in these caves. We must leave as soon as possible and warn the others. Can you contact the Black Angels outside, and let them know aswell. And be wary of Inquisitors, they are also not to be trusted."

Night Stalker you say? I think I have heard of the name before but I can't remember... Brother-Librarian Julius will know, but he hasn't been seen since we barricaded ourselves here.
And Chaos, here!? Then we are in more trouble than I thought. We should leave as soon as possible. I will try and contact the Black Angels. He was interrupted by the Black Angels call. It looked as if the Orks had left, good news were scarce these times, yet they had still got one. The Emperor watched over them.
Iron priest Ramenov thinks that the forces of Chaos might be here and we are preparing to pull out. Meet us outside. he said before closing the channel and turning to Ramenov.
The Orks have left and are heading west, and so our brothers are preparing to make planetfall.

ARGH! Lots of new members! Just when I thought we were slowly starting to come to a close....
I don't have a problem with it, just either keep with the story or go play with each other on the other side of the planet. OR u could go kill those flipping Tau that tried to kill me then stopped doing anything. I think the Eldar are currently in possension of a few of them....
DO NOT godmode (if u don't know what that is then ask FFS!) because we WILL pick up on it and godmode you back to hell!
Anyway, remember, we're all here to have fun! (man that sounds cheesy!)

"Traitors? Here? How can that be? We are at a secure location, twenty klicks south-east of the cave entrance. We are currently recieving reinforcements from our battlebarges in orbit, and must wait until they are all planteside before we move. I shall converse to Wolf Lord Ivano, and tell him of our plans."

Karit closed the comm-channel, and undid his helmet, the air hissing as he removed it. Captain Templer looked up from the manifest that a Sergeant had just delievered to him,"Problem, Brother-Commander?"

"I just recieved word from the Ultramarine commander that Chaos may be present within the caves. He is unsure, but the Iron-priest seems adamant"

"I see. So, the traitor legions are involved, but who could they be?"

"I am not certain Brother-Captain. We must exercise extreme caution from now on."

"Yes, Brother-Commander"

Templar went back to work, directing the new arrivals to a staging area. Soon, they would return and bolster the defences for Brother-Chaplin Hanst. The seventy-five brethern could not last too long against a determined foe, for the Black Angels had been fighting longer than the other chapters. Latest word from the battlebarge said the White Scars had also arrived, and where landing troops to the north.Welcome reinforcements. Ivano read the transmission handed to him. He looked up at the docking bay Sergeant. "The ships deploy, now." He pulled up a comm link to Brother Lieutenant Gabriel on the adjacent ship. "Brother, we go planetside immediately. Instruct the pilots to land where you feel suits you best. We shall speak again planetside, Emperor willing. Wolfenstein out."

He climbed aboard his Thunderhawk, aware his men had already done so on the numerous other Company Thunderhawks. 950 Space Wolves plus their Company's vehicles would be planetside very soon, and then Chaos would feel the wrath of the Wolves of Fenris.
Ivano tapped the pilot on the shoulder. "Put us down near the Black Angel forces, they will need our help the most. And hurry, we have prey to hunt."

The transports lifted off from the orbiting fleet, like a swarm of bees flooding towards their prey. The pilot, a Flight Lieutenant by the name of Farquah, tried to raise a link to the Black Angel Command Squad on the ground. "Black Angels, this is the Space Wolf transport Emperor's Guidance, we are coming in to land on your position, so keep heads up if you please. Guidance out."

The situation was a bit chaotic; they had been cut of from their brothers, their commander had stayed behind and the only one that seemed to be avle to take command was Gabriel. To make things worse there was evidence that the ruinous forces of Chaos had entered the system.

Brothers, Adeptus Astartes, Sons of Ultramar and Roboute Guilliman we go now to free our bretheren. The ironpriest Ramenov has detected the presence of Chaos in this system. I know your hearts, I know you will not fail. Slay the traitors and remember, the Emperor watches, make sure he is not ashamed!

Bring us in north-west of the caves brother-pilot (if they are called that), the infantry will be deployed behind the heavy vehicles and the flankers and scouts on the sides.

The Thunderhawks roared towards the planet, penetrating the atmosphere and zooming past the caves before smoothly landing.

Brother-sergeant Tanthius shouted to his squad as the ramp lowered. The dust that the Thunderhawks had whirled up obscured the sun and it was hard to see even two feet in front of oneself. But as one of the Thunderhwaks lifted they could make out the sillouette of a Predator and followed it to the front, taking up positions behind it and waiting for the signal.

Brother-lieutenant Gabriel commandeered a bike and hurried towards the Space Wolves. Plans had to be made should the forces of Chaos truly be in the system.
