Ooc- Sorry for delay, instead of gunshowing Saturday, I went gun store hopping for most of the day, and then drank a bunch. I'm here now. I don't post when I've been drinking because my spelling and quality goes to heck, and I like to make quality stuff. :)

Ic- Helga smiled, "Then let's get going, yes?"
Avadria
22-11-2004, 01:18
OOC: Lol, it's okay

IC:

"Yes, lead the way" Norin said, motioning for Helga to lead. "But how are we going to get there?" He asked.
Decisive Action
22-11-2004, 03:50
Helga shrugged and then smiled, "How about helicopter?" She then pointed up into the air at the approaching Mi-24.
Avadria
23-11-2004, 02:47
"Perfect" Norin said as he watched the approaching helicopter.
Decisive Action
23-11-2004, 06:55
The Mi-24 landed nearby and Helga motioned for Norin to follow her as she headed towards it.
Avadria
24-11-2004, 03:39
Norin of course followed, seeing no other course of action to take. "How long again did you say the flight was?" He asked above the roar of the helicopter.
Decisive Action
28-11-2004, 23:16
Helga shook her head, "Not too long, less than an hour, probably..."
Avadria
28-11-2004, 23:21
Norin nodded. "That's not too bad" He said before boarding the Mi-24.
Decisive Action
28-11-2004, 23:30
The helicopter lifted off into the air and headed for its destination, Helga gently took hold of Norin's hand and then kissed him on the cheek, before whispering in his ear, "Norin... I have to tell you something..."
Avadria
28-11-2004, 23:52
Norin watched the ground get smaller as the helicopter rose from the ground. He squeezed Helga's hand in response. "What might that be Helga?" Norin asked, looking into Helga's eyes.
Decisive Action
29-11-2004, 00:02
Helga smiled and gently placed Norin's hand on her stomach, while whispering, "Norin... I'm... Well, you know, yes?" she smiled, waiting for his response.
Avadria
29-11-2004, 00:04
Norin's mouth dropped but soon curled into a smile. "Really?" He asked, although not really surprised at the fact, given their rate of 'activity.'
Decisive Action
29-11-2004, 00:07
She nodded her head, "Yes, a woman knows..." She smiled, "So, do you hope it's a boy or a girl? Any ideas on names yet?"
Avadria
29-11-2004, 00:48
Norin continued to wear his grin. "A boy of course!" He said enthusiastically. "As for the name..." Norin said as nearly one-hundred suddenly ran through his head, however one did stand out. "Maximillian?" He proposed, fairly proud of the name.
Decisive Action
29-11-2004, 00:59
Helga nodded her head, "A great name, yes, if that is what you want, then yes, that will be it. I like that name..." She paused for a second, "And if it's a girl, then what?"
Avadria
29-11-2004, 01:06
Norin paused for a moment in thought. "Well... I suppose... Katrina?" He suggested, not really certain. Norin hadn't thought much about girls names. "Or Alexia?" He offered as a second choice.
Decisive Action
29-11-2004, 01:20
Helga smiled, "Yes, those are good names as well. I'm not very good with these sort of decisions, so I'll let you decide, okay?"
Avadria
29-11-2004, 03:41
Norin nodded. "That's fine Helga..." He said with a smile. Then Norin couldn't help but laugh. "What do you think the Czar is going to think when he sees us?" Norin said, thinking back to Helga's announcement of seperation in the bunker.
Decisive Action
29-11-2004, 04:00
Helga shrugged, "I don't know, I imagine the Czar will be happy to meet with us, he likes to meet with the various nobles and such, he loves nothing more than a good debate or discussion on current events and policy."
Avadria
29-11-2004, 04:02
Norin nodded. "Well I'm afraid I'm not too up to date on Mississippian policy, let alone current events, but I'll try my best" He said with a laugh.
Decisive Action
29-11-2004, 04:05
Helga smiled, "Well the most current events involve our adding Angola, Lesotho, Botswana, South Africa, Namibia, and Georgia to our Commonwealth... We're also engaged in fighting in South Carolina, we want to add them as well."
Avadria
29-11-2004, 04:13
Norin whisteled. "Impressive I must say..." He looked down at the floor of the helicopter and back up at Helga. "I probably won't want to talk much of Avadria I would assume..." Norin said as he thought about the current situations there.
Decisive Action
29-11-2004, 04:22
Helga shook her head, "No, the Czar doesn't mind controversial topics, besides, he'll pretty much discuss anything."
Avadria
29-11-2004, 04:29
"Well that's good to hear..." Norin said, obviously relieved. He looked down at the ground below them and checked his watch. "How much longer do you think it will be?" Norin asked, looking for any signs of the meeting place.
Decisive Action
29-11-2004, 04:34
The helicopter finally landed in a far section of the city, the city was home to nearly one-hundred million residents and it was so large and wide it took over an hour of air travel to cross the width of the city. They had landed at a nice residence on the outskirts of the city. Norin saw there were easily over two hundred T-98s and hundreds of SA-19s and other air defenses around the residence. He heard a loud streak as two MiG-41s went by, this was the place...

Helga stepped out of the helicopter and walked towards the door, "Norin, this way, just over there, through the gate..."
Avadria
29-11-2004, 04:42
Norin disembarked the helicopter. He was amazed at the small army assembeled around the Czar's residence. Then again though he figured it was expected. The sound of the Mig-41's however did surprise him. The last thing he really was expecting was active air patrol.

Norin followed Helga to the gate, his eyes darting from one weapon of war to the next.
Decisive Action
29-11-2004, 04:49
A 6'8 giant of a man, the Czar's personal guard, came walking over towards the gate, looking at Norin, "You, foreign boy, stand against the wall, put your arms in the air and spread your legs, I need to search you for weapons..."

Helga sighed, "Arthur, he's with me, okay?"

Nelson nodded, "Fine... You two may go inside." He opened the gate and let them pass inside.

There were no less than ten thousand SRG personnel around the residence, many were manning AAA and SAM weaponry, many more were manning G-5 and G-6 artillery weapons, and yet many more were manning perimeter mini-guns.

Nelson led the two of them inside. He knocked on the Czar's bedroom door, Norin could hear the Czarina moaning, Roger shouted, "What is it? Whoever it is, tell them to stay downstairs and keep themselves occupied for a while, I'll be out shortly..."

Nelson turned around and went back to the stairs, where Norin was standing a few steps from the top step, Nelson smiled, "We'll all go back downstairs for a while... The Czar is... Well... Well... He's a busy man..."

Nelson then gently gave Norin a little push to get him moving and then he himself went down the stairs and headed for the living room.
Avadria
29-11-2004, 04:58
Norin was surprised at the presence of the massive man. When ordered he went for the wall, looking back at Helga for support. She excused the guard, whom she appeared to have known, and then were led inside.

Norin was amazed at all of the personell around the compound, all for the protection of the Czar. It was amazing really.

They soon found themselves inside and near the Czar's bedroom. Norin heard noises from inside that easily gave away the 'activities' going on inside. He bit his lip, feeling somewhat uncomfortable knowing that they caught the leader of a nation in such a personal moment.

Norin was to begin following the others and then received an unnecessary push from the guard. He glared at the man and straightened his shirt, continuing down to the living room.

About an hour later, Roger came walking downstairs dressed in casual evening attire, well what he considered casual evening attire, old RG khaki shorts and an RG khaki t-shirt. "How are you two doing? Norin Fallsburg and Helga Thaller, right? Well soon to be Helga Fallsburg, yes?"
Avadria
29-11-2004, 05:21
Norin watched the Czar descend the staircase. He couldn't help but smile when he mentioned the soon to come wedding. "Yes your excellency" Norin said, feeling odd that he was having a personal discussion with a world leader. "We still haven't set a date yet, but it's going to be soon" He added.
Decisive Action
29-11-2004, 05:28
Roger nodded his head, "So what do you two want as a wedding present, any idea? I have an old island in the Pacific, it's my fathers, he gave it to me, but I've never been there, I have no interest to go somewhere where to get there I must go through shark infested waters, and not just a few sharks, but many..."

He shuddered, the one thing that scared him was sharks, he'd been in combat, wounded, nearly killed, but that didn't matter... He was scared of the one thing that he was more likely of being struck by lightning than being attacked by, sharks.

"Anyway, the island is yours, if you want it..."
Avadria
29-11-2004, 05:34
"Umm..." Norin sat, blinking, not really sure what to say. A whole island? It was amazing. "I wonder what he gives for birthday gifts?" Norin thought to himself. "Well... I don't know... I mean, an island? I guess I would have to take a look at it or something..." He said, not really sure what to say.
Decisive Action
29-11-2004, 05:39
Roger nodded, "Yeah, you don't like it just tell me, maybe you want something like say Florida? We've been thinking about taking over Florida and adding it to our commonwealth, if we do, you're first in line for the governor-general position that'll be opened up, okay?"
Avadria
29-11-2004, 05:41
Norin again was surprised. "Uh... Okay..." He said, not really sure what to say in response. "Thank you so much your Excellency... I-I really am speechless..." Norin said, amazed at the offers.
Decisive Action
29-11-2004, 05:42
Roger smiled as he asked, "So, what have you two been up to, anything interesting? Norin, how are you liking Mississippi?"
Avadria
29-11-2004, 05:46
"Ah, nothing too much I suppose... We just got back from the Avadrian Embassy, took care of matters there and assured people that I was okay" Norin said nodding. "Other than that not much really." He said, rapping his fingers against his leg. "But Mississippi... Mississippi has been great... Very different though for me, but I'm adjusting slowly" Norin said with a laugh.
Decisive Action
29-11-2004, 05:48
Roger stood up, took a cigar out of a holder, cut it, then lit it, "Norin, come, walk with me for a minute, we can talk in private, guy talk, I'm sure Helga will understand..."

Helga nodded and smiled, "Of course, you boys have fun talking about whatever it is men talk about."

Roger walked out of the room and down the hall, then he stopped outside a door to a private bar, waiting for Norin to follow.
Avadria
29-11-2004, 05:50
Norin nodded and rose from the couch. He bent over and gave Helga a peck on the cheek before following Roger to the bar. Norin was clueless as to what the Czar wanted to discuss.
Decisive Action
29-11-2004, 05:55
Roger shut the door and walked in, "Norin, you'll find I'm a very generous man, but I'm not as generous as Gunther in that I won't let you fuck my wife... Do you know what I'm talking about? Don't play dumb, do you know what I'm talking about?"
Avadria
29-11-2004, 05:59
"E-Excuse me sir?" He asked, feeling somewhat frightened and confused. Norin looked down at the floor, obviously ashamed. "Do you mean... yesterday... when I was at Gunther's?" He asked, coming clean. Still Norin couldn't even begin to comprehend as to how the Czar knew.
Decisive Action
29-11-2004, 06:06
Roger nodded, "Yeah, I know, "How the fuck does he know?" right? Well I know most of what goes on in the residences of my top nobles, it's my job to know... Anyway, why haven't you told Helga yet?"
Avadria
29-11-2004, 06:09
Norin nodded with a sigh. "I-I don't know..." He gently slammed his fist against the bar. "I don't even know what I was thinking..." Norin said
Decisive Action
29-11-2004, 06:13
Roger smiled, "Well personally, the first woman I kissed, well besides my mother, sisters, grandmother, aunts, well you know the first woman I kissed in a way that counted, intimately, was Alice, and we're married today... I've never slept with any woman besides her... Anyway, some men, like Gunther, well for them one woman isn't enough... Just explain to Helga, be honest, and tell her that you didn't know what you were thinking, it wouldn't be the first time Gunther's let his wives sleep around like that..."

Roger continued,

"Anyway, he was probably trying to get back at you for your plans to leave Misssissippi with Helga's children thereby forcing her to leave also, yeah I know all about that plan, but you and Helga reached an agreement, what seven children and you both live in Avadria, but come to vacation here two months a year, yes?"
Avadria
29-11-2004, 06:19
Norin nodded, listening to the Czar's story. He certainly hadn't been in the same situation as Roger. Norin had several girlfriends before and Helga certainly wasn't his first. All of it though added to the shame that someone other than Gunther knew.

Norin's jaw dropped at the sudden revelation. He was amazed at how much the Czar knew. "W-Well... yes, that's exactly what we agreed to..." Norin shook his head. "H-How did you know that though?"
Decisive Action
29-11-2004, 06:25
Roger shook his head, "Meh, what can I say... I happen to know a lot, you know? Anyway, you and Helga are probably tired, perhaps you two want to be shown to a room for the night, yes? But maybe first you'd like a cigar or a drink or something, eh?"
Avadria
29-11-2004, 06:27
"Both would be great" Norin said with a sigh. He surely needed something to drink at the time, and a cigar every now and then certainly wasn't bad.
Decisive Action
29-11-2004, 06:31
Roger handed him a cigar and then got him a drink, "Here you go, brandy is fine, right? I'd have a drink myself but I promised the wife I'd go six months without... But at least I get an occasional smoke."
Avadria
29-11-2004, 06:34
Norin nodded and took the drink. He set it down on the bar and placed the cigar in his mouth. Norin decided to enjoy the cigar first before the brandy. "Ah yes..." He said nodding, but couldn't help but feel that Roger was trying to make him feel guilty. "Your Excellency, would you happen to have a liter?" Norin asked.
Decisive Action
29-11-2004, 06:38
Roger nodded and lit his cigar for him, "There you are... So tell me Norin, you don't really like Mississippi, do you... We're too religious for you, right?"
Avadria
29-11-2004, 06:44
Norin took a puff from his cigar. He couldn't help but grin when the Czar mentioned what he had been thinking. But Norin wasn't going to run from it. "Well... you caught me your excellency..." Norin took a long drag from the cigar, producing smoke from his mouth shortly thereafter. "I suppose Mississippi is just... different... very, very different for me..." He added, shaking his head.

"It's been quite an experience thus far I suppose..." Norin took another drag on the cigar. "The religion... it's overwhelming for someone like me... I'm only used to seeing a church in as a museum and nothing more..." He shook his head. "I'm sure you've heard the news in Avadria..." Norin said, in reference to the re-education programs the government had started.
Decisive Action
29-11-2004, 06:47
Roger shrugged, "So, re-education programs, my father killed over one and a half billion people, mostly white enemies of the regime, atheists, gays, lesbians, the geneticall unfit, the jews, the blacks, and basically all non-whites other than the few million indians, so-called natives, we have living here... He had treaties with the Indians, and he kept them, always a man of his word... Anyway, had you been in this nation under my father's rule, you'd be in a camp being worked to death by now... Count yourself lucky I am more tolerant of those who lack faith, as long as they keep it to themselves and don't attempt to harm those who have faith."
Avadria
29-11-2004, 06:54
Norin nodded, surprised by the brutality of the former regeim. But Avadria wasn't perfect of course. "Trust me, I by no means plan on harming the faithful... here of course" Norin said with a laugh, trying to lighten the mood.

"On a seperate note though, I would recommend you visit Avadria sir, it really is a wonderful place. I'm certain the Minister of Foreign Affairs could arrange something. After all, last I knew we were looking to attract more of an 'international' interest in the Empire." He said with a shrug. "It's something to consider. Think of it as a trade-off for me being here..." Norin said with a laugh, although regretting the fact that he had elevated himself to level of the Czar in that statement.
Decisive Action
29-11-2004, 07:05
Roger smiled, "So, you consider yourself on level with me, the Czar..." He chuckled a bit, "Well we are equal in that we all will die and be judged by God. ther rich, the poor, the strong, the weak, all will be equal as we stand before God... So, in that regard, yes, you and I are on the same level, if you accept God when you die and stand before Him... You will be given the chance to repent and accept him, only the truly arrogant or evil would deny Him then, yes?"

Roger yawned, "Well anyway, I'm probably boring you with this religious talk, tell me, what do you think of our recent expansions of the Commonwealth?"
Avadria
29-11-2004, 07:10
Norin nodded along, agreeing with the Czar partly in his talk. When the subject of expansion came up, Norin paused momentarily. "Well, I figure a nation needs room to grow and those countries certainly won't need it. Besides the chances are it's much better for them in the long run..." Norin said, actually referring to a lesson he had in college about Avadrian Imperialism. They had summarized the drive for it in a similar message.
Decisive Action
29-11-2004, 07:11
Roger nodded, "Yeah, anyway, I had to scrap the laws about women's dress codes, and men having beards, and women not being able to drive, did you hear about that?"
Avadria
29-11-2004, 07:20
"Ah yes, I read that in the paper this morning" Norin said nodding. "Overall I'd say it's an excellent move sir." He added. "On the topic of expansion though, I'm certain you've heard of the North Sea Strategic Alliance..." Norin said with a laugh. "...The invasion of Vondoa..." He shook his head. "It's obviously a front..." Norin said, again laughing.

((For Information on the NSSA and the invasion, consult this topic and the link at the top... I know the invasion one is incomplete, but I'm working on it))

29-11-2004, 07:24
Roger shook his head, "Excellent move nothing... If I didn't let my wife drive, well let's just say I'd have gone an awfully long time without getting to do something I like to do."

At that moment, Alice came walking into the room from a painting that swung out, a secret passaged, "Ah, in your bar I see, Mr. Fabus... Remember our agreement?"

Roger frowned, "I'm not drinking, just talking to Norin..."

Roger looked to Norin for him to back him up.

Alice smiled and move next to Roger, "Anyway, you'd still have gotten plenty of sex, just not certain sorts..."

Roger swatted her on the butt, "That's right..." he said with a laugh as he gently pulled her down onto his lap.

She kissed Roger and then turned towards Noring, as she asked, "So, you're the man Helga is marrying, right?"
Avadria
29-11-2004, 07:27
Norin glanced over at Alice, obviously surprised by her sudden appearance. He minded his own business however while they briefly chatted to each other. Once Alice spoke up, mentioning Norin's wedding, he nodded with a smile. "Yes I am... The name's Norin Fallsburg" He said, extending a hand.
Decisive Action
29-11-2004, 07:30
Alice smiled and shook his hand, "Alice Fabus, originally Alice Carrion of the now destroyed nation of Seryown. Have you heard of Seryown and what happened to it?"

She looked back to Roger and kissed him, "Roger had to destroy it, they forced his hand."

Roger patted her on the head, "Yes, that's right, they asked for it, and they got it..."

Alice grinned at Roger, and whispered in his ear, "You might ask for it later, but you smell like smoke, so you won't get it..."

Roger frowned, whispering back, "What if I shower and run around getting some fresh air?"

Alice shook her head, "No, I think not..."

They both suddenly realized Norin was still sitting across from them, both stopped talking and turned to face him... Roger broke the awkward silence, "Well Norin, I think we're all tired, let's all go turn in, your room, well a servant will show you to it..."
Avadria
29-11-2004, 07:40
Norin shook his head. He hadn't heard of Seryown, but was surprised at how she talked about it being destroyed in such an odd, disconnected way. "Well, sometimes it's necessary" Norin said before setting his cigar down.

He looked away as Alice attempted to whisper something to Roger. Norin did his best not to listen and busied himself with the brandy. Then Roger spoke up, obviously realizing that Norin was still present.

"Ah yes, that'd be fine" He said, rising from the chair. Norin held his cigar in one hand and the glass of brandy in the other. "If you won't mind I'd like to finish these in my room" He said to Roger.
Decisive Action
29-11-2004, 07:45
Roger nodded, "Yes, of course..."

Alice then elaborated, "Seryown attempted to kill Roger with a missile strike, conventional, it hit the room I was in, Roger thought I was dead, I was alive, but trapped under rubble... Before he realized I was alive, he went Defcon 1 against Seryown and over two-thousand nuclear missiles were fired against them, each having many MIRVs, they never had a chance..."

Alice smiled as she kissed Roger, "I'm so proud you'll do anything to protect me. And it's great to know you'd avenge me if you had to..."

She then looked back to Norin, "Roger shielded me with his body in South Africa when some marxists took shots at us... I'm so proud of him."

Roger blushed a bit, "Ah Alice, it was nothing I wasn't supposed to do... I'm supposed to protect you."

She grinned, "Yes, but you protect me so well..."

Roger lifted her up into his arms and walked towards the door, "Norin, the Czarina and I need to turn in early... We're both..."

Alice finished the sentence, "Very tired, so don't disturb us, if you need something, ask Nelson or one of the servants."

With that, Roger left the room, Alice in his arms.

Nelson came into the bar a few minutes later, "Mr. Fallsburg, this way, I'll show you to your room."
Avadria
29-11-2004, 07:50
Norin listened intently to the brief story of Seryown. He was surprised by it and couldn't believe some of the things Roger had done to protect his wife. It truely was admirable if not heroic. Then it was obvious that the memories had rekindeled something between the two and Norin couldn't help but laugh ever so slightly.

"I suppose I will be leaving you two alone then" He said, raising his glass. "You two have fun now..." Norin said, giving in to the urge to say it.

He then departed and followed Nelson to his room.

((I'm turning in...))

Ooc- I am off to sleep after this

Nelson led Norin back into the living room where Helga had fallen asleep on the couch, waiting for Norin to return.

Nelson whispered to Norin, "You're not just going to leave her there, are you?"

Nelson yawned, "Your room is the third door on the left, on the right wing of the house, floor one that is... Just go that way..." He pointed down towards the hallway, "You can't miss it..."

Nelson then left and walked towards the stairs, sitting down right at the base of the stairs.

Norin glanced over at Nelson, giving him a dirty look. What was the man thinking? That he would just leave his pregnant wife asleep on the couch? Norin took a drink of the brandy and placed it on the table. He then put the cigar in his mouth and gently picked up Helga, careful that none of the ashes or smoke would irritate her.

Carefully Norin set off for the room, recalling the brief directions Nelson gave him.

Norin wound up in a room full of display cases with guns, all sorts. Hundreds if not thousands of guns. Antique muskets, modern rifles, machine guns, even an Sa-17, a Stinger, and an RPG. He had taken the wrong turn back at the last fork in the hallway...
Avadria
30-11-2004, 00:11
Norin could've almost dropped Helga once he entered what he had thought to be the bedroom. He was amazed at the array of weapons they had. Everything from early muskets to stinger missles. It truely was an impressive collection. After pausing for several moments to look while he stood on the threshold to the room, Norin realized that Helga was still in his arms and backed out of the room.

"Now where to go..." He said, looking around somehwat helplessly. Norin backtracked to the previous hall decided to take the other path, hoping that he would find the actual room.
Decisive Action
30-11-2004, 00:15
The door he opened, Nelson was inside the room beating the living crap out of a man tied to a chair, he was bloodied and looked ready to die. There was a bright lighting in the room, aimed right at the man, and three other SRG, two of whom had MP-5s, were in positions around the man. Nelson was shouting, "Who are you working for!" as he pummeled the man senselessly.

Helga surprisingly was not awakened by the noise, and remained peacefully asleep in Norin's arms.

Nelson sighed and walked over to Norin, "One room down and across the hall..." He pointed outside the door right to the exact room Norin wanted.
Avadria
30-11-2004, 00:36
Norin opened the door his eyes widened at the sight. "Okaay... Don't do what ever that mad did..." He said to himself as he slowly backed out of the room. Thankfully Nelson had mentioned that it was just one room down and across the hall, Norin was quick leave the sight.

He finally found the right room and twisted the knob, opening the door.
Decisive Action
30-11-2004, 00:43
The room was massive and sprawling, large enough to be four bedrooms, at least in his opinion it was. Much larger than half of his entire house.

Helga stirred a bit in his arms, slowly opening her eyes and yawning, "Norin, what is going on? Did I fall asleep?" she asked as he carried her over to set her down on the bed.
Avadria
30-11-2004, 00:50
Norin was amazed by the size of the room, unable to comprehend why anyone would need something this big. The he realized that he was in the home of royalty, and they of course had money to spend. Norin walked Helga to the bed and placed her down on the covers.

"Yes you did dear..." He said before kissing her forehead. "And I'm about to go asleep myself..." Norin added, sitting down beside her.

Helga smiled, "Well, goodnight, Norin, sleep well..."

She promptly fell back asleep.

Ooc- Be back later tonight, around 9 pm probably.

Norin nodded and fell backwards onto the bed, staring up at the cieling for several minutes, in thought. He knew that somewhere, someone in this country, at that very moment, was watching him, watching Helga, watching the Avadrian Embassy probably. Norin shook his head, trying to put the thought out of his mind.

He climbed under the covers and slowly dozed off.

In the morning at about eight, Norin was awoken by a gentle kiss from Helga as she pressed her lips against his, and whispered, "Norin, wake up, it's morning..."

He yawned, stretching out his arms. Norin opened his eyes, again surprised by the size of the bedroom. He yawned once more, rubbing his eyes. Norin then returned the kiss to Helga. "So... I wonder what the Czar has in store for us today?" He asked with a laugh, not sure what the day would bring.

Helga shook her head, "No idea... But I have a few things in store for you today..."

She slowly slid under the covers, taking her time to pleasure him. Emerging when she had finished, "Well Norin, what a nice way to start off the day, yes?"

Helga led the way, Roger and Alice were sitting in one of living rooms, each reading a newspaper. They both set their paper down, Alice smiled at them, "Sleep well?" She asked.

Helga then went into the kitchen as well to help Alice if she needed any help.

Roger smiled and sat down in large armchair, "Ah Norin, women are great, aren't they? So tell me, what are your plans for the next few days?"

Norin said, making sure the Czar wouldn't get the wrong impression. He took a puff of the cigar and sighed. "But it really is nice here I suppose... Just... So different for me..." Norin said, looking around the living room, although he was refering to Mississippi as a whole.

30-11-2004, 08:14
Roger smiled, really proud of what he was about to say, mainly proud that it was indeed true and not just propaganda, "You won't find a single piece of litter or garbage in our nation, outside of a trashcan, littering is a crime punishable by public flogging. Every hour we have cleaning crews sweep down each major city and clean up anything that might have been blown out of a trashcan... We also task smaller communities with hiring their own crews which we pay for. Our nation is very clean."

He then added, "And very beautiful."
Avadria
30-11-2004, 08:18
Norin's eyes widened, surprised at the fact that it was so clean as well as the punishment for littering. It seemed awfully extreme to him, but wasn't going to question it, especially in front of the nations leader.

"I'd raise my glass to that" Norin said, motioning as if he were raising a glass. "I must say I never had really taken note on how clean Mississippi is. I applaud you for that" He said.

Roger was about to say something else when Alice called out, "Breakfast is ready..."

Roger stood up, put his cigar out and led Norin to the dining room where Alice and Helga had the food waiting.

Alice frowned at Roger, "Have you been smoking?" she inquired.

He sighed, "Yes, but I've stopped drinking as we agreed, remember, I get to smoke occasionally..."

She shook her head, "More than once a week is not occasionally, please cut back more."

Roger shook his head and whispered, "We'll talk later, not now, there is company okay?"

She nodded and then set his plate and glass down for him. He smiled, "Looks great, thanks, Alice..." He then turned to Helga, "And thank you too, Helga."

Helga and Alice both nodded and then went back to the kitchen to get the last few things.

Roger started to eat his steak, bacon, pancakes, and eggs right away. Telling Norin, "Go on, don't let it get cold, this is great stuff."
Avadria

Norin nodded in agreement with Roger's observation of the food. "Yes thank you so much" He said, eagerly looking at the food. Norin of course was going to be polite and wait for Roger to begin. During that brief period the thought hit him that he had just been served breakfast by the Czarina of a nation. The thought made Norin smile, it just seemed so odd really.

Noting that Roger had began, Norin dug in himself. "This is..." He said, food still in his mouth. Minding his manners, Norin waited until he finished chewing and swallowed. "This is delicious"

30-11-2004, 08:49
Alice and Helga walked back in, putting the rest of the food down on the table before sitting down and starting to eat.

Roger smiled at Alice, "This is great, super job Alice."

She blushed a bit, "Oh Roger, you're too kind."

Roger shook his head and smiled, "Nope, it's true, and yes I have to be so kind, I have to be honest."

30-11-2004, 08:58

"Really though Roger, I would suggest that you and Alice take a trip out to Avadria, it really is nice..." He said before going back to his eggs.

Upon finishing that bite he added. "Although I don't think I can treat you this well..." Norin had said with a laugh. "I'm sure the Chancellor would give you fine accomadations." He said nodding. "But I would really recommend it, wouldn't you dear?" Norin asked Helga.

30-11-2004, 09:00
Helga smiled and nodded, "Yes, Avadria is such a lovely country, excellent countryside and very nice people."

Roger yawned a bit as he continued to eat, "Yes but... Well... No offense, but is it, you know, safe? I heard there are no race laws, are there?"
Avadria
30-11-2004, 09:06
Norin grinned. "No race laws yes... But very little immigration." He took a large bite of his steak. "The overwhelming majority is white, while maybe... two or so percent are asians. They mostly live in New Beijing... all arrived in the '80's or so to help boost our tech industry" Norin commented before taking another bite. "I can assure you though, perfectly safe." He said.

Afterall it was true. The radical groups of the 70's were long gone for the most part and their hadn't been an attack or anything of sort in ages, except of course for the car-bombing that killed the Minister of Justice. But the goverment had taken care of that problem.

Roger chuckled a bit, "Well I guess that settles it, we'll plan to go sometime when things are quiet around here and Alice isn't pregnant..."

Alice rolled her eyes, "That mean's well likely be waiting years to go."

Roger grinned, "Maybe..."

Norin chuckeled at the remark. "Although I can't guarentee you a dinner with the Emperor, I'm certain the Chancellor would be pleased to set something up like that" He said running on assumptions. From what he knew though, was that the chances of an audience with the Emperor was slim, as was dinner with the Chancellor. Chances were they would get dinner with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, excellent hotel lodging and free roam of the country for the most part, but that was about it.

She nodded, "Oh yes, of course."

As soon as Roger's plate was empty, Alice stood up and took it into the kitchen for him, returning with a glass of juice and a piece of pumpkin pie, Roger loved pumpkin pie after steak, no matter what meal or time of the day it was.

He smiled at her, "Thanks dear."

Roger yawned a bit, "So Norin, you're moving back to Avadria with Helga, yes? Do you think Avadria is really, well, do you think it's a proper place for children to be raised... I mean with no racial instructions in school and all, you know what I mean, yes?"

Alice gasped when he said "no racial instructions", and then she said, "My, what happens when they get older and haven't been raised racially conscious? Left to fend for themselves in the cruel world of multiculturalism..." She shuddered, whispering, "the horror, the horror."

Norin couldn't help but grin in response to their uninformed view of Avadria. "I can assure you that it's perfectly fine. The Avadrian education system is excellent despite our lack of racial education. The children learn that they are Avadrian, subjects of the Empire, that they are great. They'll learn about other races when they travel, sure, but in Avadria we don't feel that its... necessary in the educational system. They learn from the start that they are better then anyone else." He explained. Eager to educate them further.

"And besides, I believe that I mentioned that we control the presence of... other races... through tight immigration control." Norin added.

Roger shook his head, "Roger, not Czar, Czar is what my servants and foreigners call me. You are a Mississippian noble and friend, Roger... Okay?"

OOC: There aren't really political parties in Avadria. It's more of a 'You're with us or you're against us' mentality. The Emperor is the political party, you either support him or you don't. Overall the support for the Emperor is anywhere from 73 - 85%.

Norin nodded, pleased that Roger and him had reached a common understanding on their heritage. However the next topic he proposed set Norin a bit uneasy. He shifted in his chair, a sign that he wasn't quite sure how to tackle the subject. But surely Roger could've or would've know about the Empire's staunch anti-religious policy. Either way though Norin was going to answer honestly.

"Well... I'm not exactly any denomination per say... or religion for that matter..." He said with a nervous laugh. Then he looked at Roger with a curious stare. "Surely you've heard something about the Empire's crackdown on the religious faithful?" Norin asked.

Avadria
07-12-2004, 21:27

Decisive Action
07-12-2004, 22:13

Avadria
07-12-2004, 22:27

He motioned with his arms and hands, "Mississippi in 1984 was in a nuclear war, by 1986 we were producing more goods and weapons than all of the USA had been in 1976 just prior to her fall in the spring of that year... We produced more in 1986 than in 1983 just before the war. God is with us, can't you see that?"

Roger kept pacing, "So Norin, you're an infidel, for lack of a better term, wait that is a fine term, you insult the Heavenly Father with your blatant insolence, is that it? Then you insult my faith and my right to want to see my nobles keep the faith, after all I've done for you, taking you in, letting you stay here, you insult me..."

She took Norin aside and whispered to him, "It really hurt when I went, I'm going to go see a doctor... It's been hurting for a bit now, I didn't want to tell you because I didn't want to worry you..."

Ooc- Norin's womanizing comes back to haunt him... Dun dun dun... Allow me to say, it's probably Trichomoniasis given that he has no symptoms and she does. Wonder how he'll explain to her how she got it since she's never had sex with anybody before him...

Norin looked at Helga with a rather surprised expression. The thought hadn't crossed his mind that he could have received it from his previous encounter with one of Gunther's wives.

"That'd probably be a good idea..." He said, still not sure what exactly it could be.

Roger had overheard her talking, "Oh, my doctor here can check you out, right away... No problem at all."

Helga smiled and nodded, "Thank you for your hospitality, that will work, thank you, Czar."

Roger waved his hand at a guard who then led Helga out of the room and to the hospital located in the bunker beneath the mansion.

Roger frowned at Norin, "So, Norin, do you have any theories as to what is wrong with Helga Thaller, the daughter of the duke of Fabus County (the main county on Fabus Island) Dieter Thaller..."

(ooc- he's basically saying if Dieter gets word of what happened, he'll be very angry, and he has a lot of guards and private security to do his bidding when he's very angry)

Norin shook his head, throwing his hands up as a sign of his puzzlement. He shifted his weight around nervously as he tried to think about what was wrong. Norin muttered knowing where the problem may have stemmed from.

Roger and Alice then left and headed for the nearby city of Philadelphia.

About an hour later, Helga came back upstairs and sat down next to Norin, "So Norin, tell me... Do you know what Trichomoniasis is?"

"It was one of your brother's wives... Gunther... he offered her to me for a night..." He said, still looking at the ground.

Norin couldn't even bring his eyes to meet Helga's when she slapped him, and he showed little resistance to the blow. He knew he deserved that and more from her. Norin sat in the chair in silence for several minutes, not moving, just staring blankly at the ground, uncertain as to what he should do. He didn't know if Helga would ever forgive him, or if he should start thinking about a return trip to Avadria.

One of the SRG guards, a sergeant, came walking into the room Norin was in, "Mr. Fallsburg sir, the lady is packing her bags, I thought perhaps you'd like to know that... She has requested a helicopter take her to her parents home... I don't think she wishes to speak with you at the current time though."

Norin sighed. "Thank you..." He said in a defeated tone. Norin looked up at the guard, a detirmined look in his eyes. "Could you perhaps arrange transportation for me to go to the Avadrian Embassy?" He asked the guard, decidedly making the decision to return home at least for some time. However he would need a ticket and a flight plan. He knew it would be a roundabout trip as Avadrian Royal Airlines didn't travel to Mississippi, but he didn't exactly have anywhere else to go and was willing to sit through the long flights.

Ooc- The Thallers are highly respected nobles, and thus the SRG won't like the idea of anybody doing anything to harm them.

"Goddammit..." Norin said, rising from his chair. He was going to leave this wretched hell hole and return to civilization, he knew that much. However Norin wasn't exactly sure how he would be leaving the Czar's estate. That was what troubeled him. But he supposed he would follow through with the guard's suggestion and call Gunther.

All he had to do was find a phone and Gunther's phone number. Norin was able to easily locate a phone, but hadn't a clue as to what Gunther's number was. "What the hell am I going to do..." He muttered, looking around for anyone that could assist him.

Norin looked over at Helga, not sure how to express himself. He was angry now, confused, and detirmined to go home, yet suddenly Helga, the woman he had cheated on came proposing that they talk. Norin wasn't sure how to act now.

"I-I don't know Helga... It just happened..." He said, not really even sure why he did it. Gunther did propose the idea that Norin could have multiple wives, but it was never something he had planned on. And why he decided to have sex with one of Gunther's wives was beyond him.

Norin still waited by the phone, still holding to his plans. He wanted to leave and felt this was a proper moment, yet Helga came back, spoiling his plans.

Norin shook his head in response to Helga's question. He couldn't yet find words to use given the situation. After a brief pause however, Norin hugged Helga, holding her very close. "I'm sorry..." He said softly.

Norin took a deep breath as he looked into the body length mirror before him. He adjusted the black, silk, tie that he wore around his neck and looked himself over once more. It was the big day, it was finally happening. He was marrying a woman he had met under the most unusual circumstances. Despite their very different views on many matters, they still remain bound together, and now in the eyes of the aparrant God and under Mississippian Law, it was about to be official.

Norin brushed his hands along the front of his suite, straightening out the black fabric. He wanted to look his best and keep the suite in top condition. Afterall it was hands down the most expensive thing he had ever worn. Norin then looked down at his shoes, making sure they were polished just right. Satisfied he looked back at the mirror once more. Noting that a few hairs seemed out of place, Norin carefully adjusted them so that they seemed just perfect.

Most of his behavior was out of nervousness. He couldn't just sit there and wait around for it to be time, he needed to do something. And for that he might as well make sure everything was just right for the big moment. Besides it would serve as a rehersal for when they tie the knot in Avadria as well.

"How do I look Gunther?" He asked, turning to face to soon to be brother-in-law. Norin's hands and arms were tembling, his breathing was quicker than usual. It was obvious to anyone that he was nervous.

Gunther smiled at Norin, "Well brother, let's get moving, shall we?"

Still he couldn't help but turn his head every few steps, catching the eye of one of the Thallers or Stahleckers and then turning back in awkward embarassment.

Ooc- Let's skip ahead a bit.

Ic again-

As the priest was getting to the part about if anybody had any objections, a man rushed in through the door. He started to shout something but Gunther and two of the Stahlecker brothers jumped him and started to literally kick the crap out of him, one of them pistol whipped him twice in the face. They were still beating him, Gunther was shouting, "Object eh? Object to this!"

Norin recognized it as one of his friends, a best friend actually, somebody who was known for being late...

Norin turned sharply at the sound of the doors swinging open and to his surprise saw one of his very good friends enter the church. The man looked haggard and worn, appearing as if he hadn't slept in some time. Norin's only guess as to how his friend found out about the wedding was through his parents and from the look of it, he had only just arrived in Mississippi within the day.

At the sight of the others pouncing on him, Norin rushed from the alter, shouting at Gunther and the Stahleckers to get off of him. "Back off! Get the hell off of him!" He shouted.
Decisive Action
23-12-2004, 06:57
Gunther stepped back, as did the two Stahlecker brothers, who shook their heads and walked back to their seats, one of them frowned, "Dang, what was he doing rushing in here like that... And right at that time, we thought he had an objection... Sorry..."

Gunther took out a wad of money and discretely passed it to the injured man, at least 500,000 dollars, he whispered, "No harm done, eh?"

23-12-2004, 07:07
Norin curled his lip at the statement that was made. He couldn't believe how ready and willing Mississippian's were to fight. They also seemed awfully detirmined to make sure no one objected to the wedding, something that rather worried Norin.

He extended his hand to his friend, who was sore, now not only from the discomfort of an airplane but from the harsh beating he had just received, and also surprised at the large sum of money he had just received. Something that almost made the beating worth it.

The man took Norin's hand and was pulled to his feet. The man, despite his condidtion was now in rather good spirits and actually grinned when Norin brought him to his feet. Norin grinned in return and patted him on the shoulder. "Max you son of a bitch... find a place to stand" He said, motioning with his head towards one of the groups.

Max, looked between the two families, not really certain where to go. Afterall, it was one of each that attacked him. Recalling what one gave him the money was the deciding factor, so Max went over by the Thallers.

Norin on the other hand, returned the alter with Helga and awaited the climax of the wedding.

23-12-2004, 07:15
The priest then coughed nervously, "If nobody objects then... I now..."

As he was talking, some man burst into the church shouting, "Government spies, so-called nobles, your men are all drunks and your women are whores! Death to the New World Order!"

Before he could finish his sentence, the 88 year old Hans Stahlecker had dropped the man in his tracks with a 44 revolver... He turned back to the altar, "Okay, no objections, get on with it..."

The priest smiled, and then said, "By the powers vested in me, by the Czar, the Czarina, the Federal Government of Mississippi, the Mississippian Russian Orthodox Church, and by the White Knights of Mississippi of the Ku Klux Klan, I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride..."

23-12-2004, 07:21
Norin again looked over as another man burst into the church, this time it was someone he didn't know. He was shouting some absurd sort of ramblings and before he could finish the man lay dead, slain by someone who was nearly four times as old as Norin and really wanted the wedding to finish up.

Still shaken by the events, Norin turned to face Helga as the priest wrapped up. Then on the words he had heard so many times before in the media, Norin took a small step forward and kissed Helga, not certain to what intensity that he should given the environment.

Although they've been rumored to be using lots of chemical weapons against the Xhosa. Also Boer regiments of the Volunteer Guard are really hitting the Xhosa hard.

It might be interesting to go see a battle if we get the chance, the Senate was out just last week, having lunch on a hill overlooking a major battle between three thousand Xhosa against twelve hundred Zulu and two hundred Boers accompanied by fifty Commonwealth SAAS forces. It was great fun watching, from what I've been told."

She grinned, "Of course they'll only be around if we're moving from city to city, once we get where we're going, we'll be all alone with more privacy than you'll know what to do with, although I have a few ideas what to do if you need suggestions..."

Decisive Action
04-01-2005, 21:27
Helga giggled as she blushed, "No it isn't, not at all... It might even cost one side the fight if too many soldiers stopped paying attention to the fight to see what was going on behind some bushes..."

She then remembered something, frowning a bit, "Oh, my father wanted you to call him, something about he has something he wants to show you, a private club of his or something, some ole boys group down in South Africa, well they are in Mississippi mostly, but they meet every now and then in South Africa, I don't know much about them, but it, it, I don't know, it's just odd."
Avadria
04-01-2005, 21:37
Norin laughed at Helga's continuation of his joke. However his expression went from playful to more serious as she talked about her father and the private club. He was somewhat nervous about Mr. Thaller, having not actually met him to a great degree, but he needed to call him.

"I'll give him a ring then..." Norin said with a smile, his tone changing and masking his nervousness. He picked up the limo's phone and looked towards Helga for the number. Upon dialing it, he waited for the response from the other end.

He could already tell that he didn't like the sound of 'the proper path to enlightenment' and surely wasn't going to correct him that the children would be the next generation of Fallsburg's but he couldn't refuse the man's offer.

"W-We're doing well. On our way to the airport right now..." Norin said, not really sure what else to add. Thinking quickly he turned the conversation back over to Dieter. "H-How are you doing sir?" He asked.

Besides, soon we will be brothers in the path of enlightenment, in an order far greater than you could ever have imagined possible... Let me tell you this Norin, the truth is stranger than fiction, you will see, you will see."

Norin held the phone away from his ear for a moment. Not sure if this was some cruel joke, the prelude to an initiation into the Thaller family, or if Dieter had simply lost his mind. "Dieter... I-I have no idea what you are talking about..." He said, rather nervously. The thought of meeting the man and his friends wasn't sitting too well with him at the time.

Dieter smiled, "Don't worry, don't worry... You'll be undergoing the same rituals that a young teenage boy underwent in 1978 after we finally won him over into our camp, our thinking, our way of doing things, our side, the right side. He saw the light, the true path to enlightenment, you too Norin, we will show you the path, and help you walk it if you wish."

Ooc- The "Boy" they're talking about was Curtis, and 1978 is the year they got him to subscribe to the occultic way of thinking, and to start worshipping Molech, along with joining the "Society of Enlightened Men".

"Umm... okay..." He said his heartbeat increasing. Norin knew something was up now and that Dieter was totally serious. The heavy feeling that all of Mississippi was out to convert him weighed down on him again, however Dieter seemed to belong to an even more extreme wing of the faith.

"I-I suppose I will find out more when I arrive..." He said, still uncomfortable with the whole conversation.

Dieter smiled and said, "Yes, yes, you will, you will see the road to enlightenment be clearly illuminated for you. I must go now young Fallsburg, we will speak again shortly."

With that, Dieter hung up the phone as his plane headed for Pretoria.

Helga looked over at Norin, "What did daddy want? Did he say?"

Norin slowly placed the phone on the receiver, not certain how he should answer Helga. Afterall, whatever Thaller had planned for Norin seemed big. "H-He said he's doing fine..." Norin said, turning towards Helga with a smile. "And that I am supposed to meet him in five days outside of..." He paused trying to recall the name. After a brief moment of thought he found the name. "-Bloemfontein" Norin said with a nod.

Helga frowned and shook her head at the mention of the city name, "Norin, don't go, just think of some excuse, you'd only be disturbed if you went..."

He quirked an eyebrow, feeling more unsettled about the whole affair. "What do you mean? It doesn't sound that bad... judging by the name at least..." Norin said.

Helga sighed, frowning a bit, "Bloemfontein is where father and all his friends meet a few times each year for their weird rituals that take place on some secret farm well outside the city... I'm not really comfortable talking about what they do but it's not good stuff."

Norin looked down at his lap. "Where they walk the path of enlightenment..." He said with a smirk, recalling something along the lines of what Dieter had said. Norin looked down to the right side of his coat, his pistol lay underneath it in the holster beneath his arm.

"Don't worry about me Helga... I'll be fine" He said, looking up at her with a reassuring smile.

Helga nodded her head and smiled, put her arms around him, kissing him befor saying, "Okay, well I just don't want anything happening to my husband."

The car suddenly stopped, the driver tapped on the window separating the passenger's compartment and the front section, then he rolled it down and said, "We're here the airport Mr. Fallsburg."

Norin wrapped an arm around her shoulder and kissed her on the forehead. "I can assure you nothing will happen to me..." He said with a smile.

Then he was informed that they had arrived at their destination. Norin nodded with a smile to the driver. "Thanks a million..." He said, before leaning in towards the window and placing five-hundred dollars in the man's hand.

Norin then returned to Helga and opened the door, stepping out and offering his hand to help her out.

Helga took Norin's hand and started to lead him into the terminal while two Thaller Securities Industry guards carried their luggage to the private plane waiting for them.

Norin led Helga into the terminal while the security guards carried their luggage to the plane. He figured security at the airport would be a minor problem given their status. However once Norin entered, he wasn't exactly sure where to go. There were numerous public jets awaiting passengers, but he wasn't sure where to go for their private aircraft. "Do you know where to go... or should we ask someone..?" He asked Helga, wishing that could have simply pulled up on the tarmac.

((OOC: I think I might be getting terminal confused with concourse... I'm not certain.))

Helga knew right where to go, she eagerly led Norin forward.

Norin noticed a large amount of males, some as young as ten, carrying MP-5s, AKM rifles, and UZIs, and other weapons. A few even had RPGs slung over their shoulders.

There seemed to be at least a battalion of soldiers performing security at the massively large airport, in addition to about two or three thousand private security and local police.

Norin saw a 50 caliber machine gun in a sandbag position in the center of the terminal, and a dozen or more soldiers in full armor standing around the position.

He looked outside a window and saw an Sa-19 mobile SAM launcher, and a half dozen or so soldiers standing around with Sa-16s and Stingers.

Helga gave him a quick smile, "See, things are safe here, aren't they?"

Norin was surprised at the amount of firepower the airport security had. However it didn't exactly strike him as being an example of safety. "I suppose you could say that..." He said in response to Helga's comment. "However to me it seems like they're just looking for a fight..."

As they were walking towards the door to the private hangars, they noticed a small group of men standing around in white robes with red crosses painted on them, one with a bullhorn was shouting, "Join our crusade for God! Help us retake the Holy Land from the unbelievers! Join today, we can provide you with weapons and transportation to the Holy Land! God commands you to do His work and take back the Holy Land!"

Helga pulled Norin along a bit quicker, not wanting him to be bothered by the calls for Crusade when she knew that he didn't like that sort of thing.

After a few minutes of walking, they arrived at the private hangar and the plane was already waiting and ready to go, fueled up, and with the pilot and co-pilot there.

As they continued towards their destination, Norin couldn't help but notice the collection of oddly uniformed individuals calling for some crusade to take back the 'Holy Land.' A smirk spread across his face when Helga pulled him closer, seemingly in an effort to shield him from the group. He could make a remark about them, but decided that whatever came out would undoubtedly be rude.

"Nuts..." Norin muttered, just loud enough so Helga could hear it, the smirk turning into more of a grin. He figured he at least had to say something and it certainly wasn't that rude.

Then they soon approached the hangar, the plane was waiting and ready for them to leave. Norin lead Helga onto the plane, nodding to the pilots that were waiting for them outside. They took their seats and waited for the pilots to board and send them off to South Africa.

Helga kissed him on the cheek as the plane was taking off.

A few minutes into the air, and Norin saw a massive fireball back over the airport, the ground SAMs had shot down a plane that was making an incorrect approach, better safe than sorry.

A few minutes later, another bright ball of flames, from the other direction, a plane that had failed to stop in Tennessee and be searched before seeking entrance into Mississippi.

The Mississippian Air Defense Command averaged about six planes shot down per week, mostly foreign planes, civilian owned private planes usually. This was just a busy day.

Helga frowned, "Hmmm... Don't worry about any of that Norin, they're just being extra safe today, I guess... So what do you want to do first in South Africa?"

Norin looked in immense surprise as he saw the assorted aircraft erupt in flames, further asserting his notion that they were simply looking for a fight. Nonetheless he understood why no Avadrian airline would fly to Mississippi. Then Helga asked him what he would like to do, prompting an appropriate response given what they had just witnessed.

"Well, I'd like to hope that we land right..." He said, cracking a nervous smile at his morbid joke. "After that I'm not certain. I suppose we can get setteled into our temporary home..." Norin said pausing for a moment and slipping an arm around Helga's shoulder. "Then I'm sure we can find a way to kill some time..." He said with a sly grin.

Helga blushed, "Oh Norin..."

She then tried to reassure him, "Don't worry, the Commonwealth air defenses are less eager to pick fights, since far more foreign planes enter their skies than in Mississippi..."

She sighed, "Just promise me one thing, don't let my father freak you out, I'm sure you'll be a bit disturbed at first by what you see him and his friends, Hans Stahlecker and the rest of his cronies, doing out there on the farm..."

Norin nodded, relieved that they would be much safer on the approach into South Africa. But the fact that Helga kept warning him made Norin feel rather uneasy. "I'm sure I will be fine Helga... don't worry..." He said as a means to comfort her. "I'm sure everything isn't as bad as you think... after all you said it's some sort of boys club right?" Norin asked, trying to put a more positive spin on it.

Helga sighed, "Norin, my father is the leader of the Mississippian Illuminati and he is also the leader of the Society of Enlightened Men, several times a year they gather on a rural farm, either in Tennessee or in South Africa, and they worship demonic gods..."

Norin paused, trying to take in what Helga had just said. It didn't really seem to match with what little he knew of Mississippian's. To him they seemed like ferverant, zealous, Christians. The fact that some, especially high ranking citizens would practice things of the sort. Either way he was still detirmined to show up, but he had no intention of joining the cult.

Norin patted his holster through his coat, just to be certain that it was still there. "I'll still go Helga... I'm not going to turn him down..." He said, seeing it more as a test of his manhood and dedication, rather than a plot against him or anything of the sort.
