The entire Pelagai fleet came out of subspace in the CoreWorlds home system. They had been looking for a human nation not in the ESUS for months and they had finally found them. They planned to kill this enemy with one fell swoop. All five Golgothas and even the Thor had been deployed this would be the greatest battle in Vasudan history.

Lol...Coreworlds? You may want to ignore this. Although if you choose to continue it, you have my full assistance.

Coredia, the capital of Coreworlds was alerted to this menace, and the invasion alarms began to sound. The planetary defense shields were raised, powerful enough to stand up against a bombardment for weeks. The citizentry were told to head for shelters or to evacuate, as the Golan Space Defense satellites and ground Turbolaser batteries came online and started tracking targets. The Vice Emperor, Jacob Sandler, ordered the Home Fleet on full alert, and notified the Emperor, who was elsewhere in space.
"Andrew, Coredia is under attack by a large and unknown enemy fleet. I'm ordering the Home Fleet on DefCon 1, but we'll need help." Jacob said, his hologram wavering due to interference.
"How did they get past our screens?"
"I don't know. We'll have to figure it out later, but now..."
"Yeah. Can you evacuate?" Andrew asked, thinking of his young son.
"I don't know. I don't want to risk..."
"Evacuate as quickly as you are able. I'm sending the Ragnorak (Sovereign-class Star Battleship) battle fleet to help you, but it's going to be an hour or so."
"We'll hold out as long as possible." The Vice Emperor said, and was cut off.
Andrew sighed, looking out over the windshield of the Sovereign. This is going to be a tough war. I can feel it.

Meanwhile, the call for aid has reached neighboring systems, and a large fleet of Star Destroyers jumped in-system to help the Home Fleet meet up with this threat. Each dagger-shaped battlecruiser bristles with over 100 turbolasers, 20 ion cannons and 10 missile launchers as well as 10 tractor beam projectors. There are 40 Star Destroyers surrounding the planet of Coredia now, plus 65 Nebulon-B Frigates, 50 Gunships, 50 Strike cruisers, and of course, 75 fighter squadrons, each of different types of craft.

Admiral Drake Ledsama assumed command of the powerful fleet and stared out at the advancing fleet. He narrowed his eyes, thinking of how to fight a numerically superior foe. Our turbolasers should make short work of much of this enemy, but there are too many. I can only hope our Battleships arrive in time.

"We are ordered to defend the Royal Family and Jedi initiates as they make their escape, sir!" A lieutenant said from the comms station.
"Very well, tighten the defense screen! Order the fighters to attack the first wave and then fall back. We must not let this enemy get their hands on the heir! Open channels to the flagship of the enemy."
"Channels open, sir."
"This is Admiral Ledsama of the Lightsaber! Who are you, and why have you come to us?"

Meanwhile, Jedi Master Masaki herded the royal family onto a Lamda shuttle, along with as many initiates and apprentices as it can carry. Other ships have already lifted off, and aimed for escape routes away from the menace.
The Royal family's personal ship was told to launch first, as a diversion so that the real ship could escape. Then the shuttle took off, and headed into space.

The call for help rang out loud and clear across the galaxy, for any nation to help defeat this menace. If Coreworlds falls, the galaxy is in danger, grave danger...

As soon as the orders had been given beams lanced towards the star destroyers along with antimatter missiles.

departed for CoreWorlds. The flagship, the Republic class Air Cruiser: Saving Grace, accompanied them. It was a marvel of technology, with near impenatrable shields, a massive size, (think as big as half the Death Star) 500 turbolasers, and massive forward gun was the peak achievment of RS genious.

OOC: The Saving Grace isn't godmoding. It took me an RL month to assemble one. I don't have any more than that that will magically appear and destroy everything. That would trash the RP completely.

Dont cry godmod this ship took over a month to build and a nation a a lot smaller than mine has a bigger one.

OOC: That is indeed the battleship. I have three active and another one in production.

"The are destroying us because we are human?!" The admiral asked, anger starting to boil. "Shields raised?"
"Yes sir! Sir, they're firing!"
A second later, the Lightsaber shook under the blows of the energy beams and missiles. The shields managed to hold, but at 67%, a big chunk compared to other enemies' craft. The lead ships weren't so lucky and smaller ships were destroyed outright. 10 gunships and the ISD Traitor were destroyed.
"Damn it. Return fire!" Even before the Admiral finished the order, hundreds of green turbolasers lanced out at the enemy fleet, in a deadly display of energy.
Though outnumbered, fighters, especially the X-wings and A-wings, were valiant in their efforts to protect the capital. They slashed their way into the enemy fighter waves, dishing out death and destruction, while taking some losses.
Meanwhile,most of the fleet of evacuation ships have already made the jump to hyperspace, and the family Lamda shuttle was starting to make the run. The shuttle just barely made it before the FTLi blanketed the battlefield with an interdictor-like effect, preventing any escape into hyperspace.
Master Masaki sighed as the battle quickly gave way to the the white silence of hyperspace. Then he looked back at his young great-grandson, sleeping away the fears and worries of the war. "The Dark Side has sought to destroy us, but as long as my descendants survive, and the descendants of other Jedi, we'll find a way to push back this invasion."

The rather large DGNT fleet, having assembled in the Pax system, arranged itself and blew a large hole in the fabric of space.
Five hours until arrival.

The Coreworlds' distress call did not go unheard. All around Chimera shipyards, a new fleet was finishing final systems checks. Most of them had been recently refitted, and now it was time to show the Shivans and their lackeys that the CF Star Corps didn't screw around any more.

Six hours later:

Local space behind the HoL fleet bubbled away to reveal a hellish green portal, a two way conduit between real space and the bizarre dimension known as quasi-space. Only one known organization uses quasi-space drives, the CF navy.

Sure enough, several heavy CF capital ships soon emerged from the portal, which soon winked out of existance.

Six "Dreadnought III" battleships flanked by a "Vengeance II" battleship and Twelve "Executor" battlecruisers had emerged from the portal and began firing upon the HoL ships.

Before the portal closed, however, two additional ships exited. A "Pathfinder" class Sensor Ship, and a "Pillar II" class supercarrier.


The battleships began firing all their weapons at the enemy's hindquarters. Plasma beams, shield busting PPBCs, Graviton beams, and last but not least, Parallax torpedos. Over two hundred of those lethal missiles launched out towards the HoL vessels.

Almost as soon as they left the launchers, the torpedos displayed the one thing that made them unique. They each split into three individual torpedos. Of course, only the original torpedo possessed a live warhead, but with two decoys, the enemy only really had a 1 in 3 chance of destroying the right torpedo with point defense.

OOC: Basically, you've got 200 twenty gigaton nukes heading for your fleet, and four hundred unarmed decoys. Each torpedo moves at FTL speeds, meaning that your chance to dodge is fairly low.

In freespace terms, you essientially have twenty harbinger/helios bombs packed into one small, lethally destructive package. Of course, them torpedos aren't exactly cheap, but I can afford to splurge in taking you out. :D

I expect signifigant damage here.

Yes I know I prepped my attack and launched it all in one post. But I don't have much time, so I kind of have to. It may be a while before I can get back online again.

Matec stood up and adjusted his uniform.

"Good, tell the support vessels to set up behind us, away from the battle. Send a message to the remaining fleet to ready all weapons. I want all vessels to fire a full spread of quantum torpedos as soon as we exit warp. red alert, shields full."

"Aye, admiral."

Two layers of shielding covered the ships.

"Drop out of warp"

25 ships blinked into existance and in a nano second, unelashed a volly of torpedos towards the enemy fleet.

"All Akira Class Vessels, initiate Hail Storm!" Matec Barked, face almost turning red. "Swarm the ships!"

All ten of the Akira vessels responded. Out of their hull came 16 rail gun batteries, each loaded with two tungsten steel rods. A 'hail storm' of balistic metal was flung at the enemy at impressive speeds. The batteries retracted to the hull, and the whole fleet, at full impulse began swarming the ships, coming in and out of cloak only for a second or two to fire their phasers, phased polaron cannons, and torpedos.

The space near Coreworld's oddly contorted,and then slowly,but inevitably,the entire Xanterian 4th Fleet came gliding out,led by the mammoth Dreadnoughts,followed by the Heavy Cruisers and Carriers,with the Frigates and support craft in tow.Once Admiral Sarma saw the opposing forces fleet,he immediatley knew that many lives would be lost.
There...there must be atleast 30,000 fighters in that fleet!And we only have 2400!This is going to be hard...
Once they had set up battle positions,Sarma roared to the Heavy Cruisers and Carriers, "Launch all fighters and corvettes!Carriers,fire chin turrets at all ships larger than carrier size!Cruisers,fire off all laser-based weaponry!Dreads,fire ion cannons at those flagships!"
The response was the whizzing of the dark blueish lasers as they left their perched turrets,and the visible shuddering of the Carriers as they fired their chin turrets.And then,slowly,but growing faster every second,the fighters and corvettes began to stream out of the Cruisers.War was starting.

Near the Coredian sun a wormhole began to open up and out of it came the second largest Shivan ship ever built. The behemoeth ship turned on its FTLi feild of 20 million km. Then a mesagae was sent to the Pelagai fleet, the giant ship began to close its arms to gether for a subsonic pulse. All the enemy ships would be destroyed.

OOC2 CoreWorlds that attack by Pelagai would have killed at least half of your SDs I know star wars tech And I also know that 125 beams and150 anti-matter missiles coming at one SD would obliterate it so unless you madfe masssive upgrades
you should have taken a lot more damage.

Both of Shadow Tech's scout ships, the entire shadow fleet, came into sensor range of the conflict. As they flickered in and out of different dimensions, the two psychic pilots activated their sensors and began to scan the area. These ships were the first ships of ST, created by years of research into multi-dimensional transportation. The organic ships, almost alive themselves, were controlled by a psychic implanted into the ship.

They were weaponless, not like the small group of scientists and psychic pilots had the skill to go into combat anyways, as the stealth technology took almost all the energy and space the ships had. However, they were not there to fight, just to gain information.

OOC: I'm just trying to build a little prescence into the universe so i can participate more in the future.

"Wait, more is coming in, it seems that massive forces from various regions are aligning with the two sides. It looks like we may have a Intergalactic Battle."

"We are in no position to go ourselves, as we are still in the middle of repairs. Alert ULTIMA of this situation" replied Caption Salvatore Gerdon of the Carrier Class Starship Alexia.

"Aye Captain, awaiting response."- Communications officer.

*Pfffffft* " This ULTIMA responding to a priority class transmission from CCS: Alexia." -ULTIMA.

"This is Captain Gerdon of the CCS: Alexia. We have just picked up a distress call from Coreworlds, we are sending the transmissions."- Captain Gerdon.

A few seconds later:

"This ULTIMA we have received the transmission and are awaiting a response from the Head of Foreign Affairs." -ULTIMA.

A few minutes later:

"The is ULTIMA, your orders are stay where you are and continue the repairs. Upon completion, you are to report back HQ for further orders. As for the Distress call, we are to far away to send a reply. So we are leaving it up to you. This is the message you will send:

We picked up your distress call, and while we sincerely wish to provide defensive and offensive assistance, our force is simply to small for a conflict such as this. Instead, upon notification from Coreworlds, we a prepared to send 75 medical class starships, 100 repair vessels, and what ever supplies you may need. We hope this offering will represent a sign of friendship.

Ops:Sir, coming out of warp.
Piett:Open a channel. This is Piett, we have arrived. I suggest all allied ships move away from the enemy fleet as quickly as possible.
After given a sufficient amount of time for the ships to move away, the Saving Grace's massive forward gun powered up, the charged particles creating a ripple effect that extended a few kilometers away from the ship and rocked the rest of the task force. It then unleashed an apocolyptic burst of light right into the heart of the enemy fleet. There was a white hot burst of light that rattled every ship there and was followed by an enormous explosion as the beam detonated on its target.
OOC: :D This oughta be good.

"Priority one, sir." Occounced the comm officer
"What is it?" Said Matec, somewhat worried.
"Message from allied ship warning us to flee...now"

"Sir! Sub-Sonic weapon charging on the RS ship!" Announced the operations officer, somewhat excited.
"I see...All ships, SCRAMBLE!" Roared Matec in a heavy accent.

The task force of 30 ships halted, turned about, and engaged at warp 2.5 until they reached a 'safe' distance.
"If that thing doesnt work, send a message to SB-031. We might need re-enforcements...and some FC's."

Ships scrambled out of the way of the newest wave of allied fire although a small gunship was caught in the blast. Friendly fire's a bitch, ain't it?
Contrary to optimistic reports, the fleet was more heavily damaged than thought, with 10 Star Destroyers destroyed so far. Blinding stars that was quickly snuffed out denoted the death of thousands of the young sailors and soldiers that help make up the military.
It was the Jedi squadrons that aided the fleets in racking up kill after kill, but the overwhelming numbers decimated the ranks, just like in the Clone Wars of old. Even the Force can't help when twenty fighters converge on one.
A couple of the Masters noticed a slight tickling in the Force from unknown observers (Shadow Tech) though they left them alone.

Meanwhile, the fleet carrying the royal family reached the Soveriegn battle fleet, an impressive array of Star Destroyers and Cruisers, frigates and corvettes, and fighters zipping every which way, all hidden in deep space. The Head Master of the Order in Coreworlds, elven Master Elendil was already on board, deep in conversation with the Emperor.
The shuttles landed, disgorging the youngest Jedi and the family members who are civilians or too young to fight.
"Dad!" Young Daniel Masaki, the son of the Emperor and the heir apparent, rushed over to Andrew, who promptly swept the 8-year old boy off his feet.
"How are ya, kid?"
"Fine, Dad. The evil aliens are scary. Really scary!"
"I know, son. But remember to not let fear rule you. It can keep you from going on, ok. "
"Ok, Dad."
"Plus, I'll protect you at all costs, just so you know."
Then Andrew turned to Master Tenchi Masaki. "Grandfather."
"Grandson. Undoubtly, we have a problem on our hands."
"Yes we do. I heard from people that fled Coredia that this alien race has complete extermination of the human race as the core of their strategy."
"Hmm." Master Masaki stroked his grey-bearded chin. "I see. It would seem that genocide is the only path, for both sides."
Apprehension gripped the Emperor. "Genocide? We don't commit genocide. It is the path to the Dark Side."
"True, but this race has already chosen that path, and thus, we must rally the entire galaxy to our cause, other nations to aid us."
"They've already come, Grandfather. Nation after nation has rallied their fleets at Coreida."
Tenchi smiled. "Then we shall win this war, for the sake of the Light."

"They sense us" said the psychic pilot of the Enigma mark 3

And so ST's first two ships were destroyed but they had sent what they had come for back in a stealth pod, as it was the most secure way.
The pod wouldn't reach Shadow Tech Prime for some time.

One of the Executor cruisers exploded in a shower of color, as the various materials on board spread out of the shattered hull. Unfourtunately, it's inertial dampners failed only moments before due to a lucky weapon strike.

The rest of the ships survived the subsonic pulse, although their shields were in most cases knocked down to fifty percent, not a small feat.

One of the Dreadnoughts turned and faced the origin of the Subsonic pulse. After quickly scanning the vessel, it began to open fire. Just a test to see if this unknown ship had subspace shields really.

The DGNT fleet dropped out of hyperspace about 100km outside of weapons range in order to assess the situation.
After forming up again they set out for the system on full power.

the operations officer who had just walked in walked over to his station and sat down looking over the blinking lights of the console he noticed a yellow light blinking indicating there was a transmission comming though . He causly pressed it and looked over at the transmission map discovering it was comming from sensor really 1040 close to the former CW neutral zone. Hmm he thought to him self he pressed another button and the message read up... the ops officer glanced at the message the sensor really was detecting and observing a battle and ships in side Core worlds space.... the officer spoke up to the commander and said "sir .I... just got a transmission from relay 1040 .. Inhere seems to be a battle going on in Core worlds “The commander glanced back scratching his head "Battle ships a full scale invasion?"
The ops officer shrugged and said " could be Sir I dont know i think we should contact star fleet command" the commander nodded and motioned for the con officer to relay the information to star fleet

Sca'rot watched as enemy fire decimated his fleet then a giant beam of light soared out of one of the ships towards the Thor he gazed at it with n fear what so ever it hit the subspace sheilds and little damage was done to the fleet. As he perpared to recalculate his plans when a message from the shivans arrived.
"Open the wormholes we must jump out imediately, have 3 Tanens stay behind to keep the FTLi feild in place and have 25 Atens stay with them for defense."
"Yes commander."

So the fleet jumped out though the had taken many losses it would be worth it as the enemy would take more he watched as his men staye dbehind to sacrifice themselves for the greater good

The fire that came at the Bhaal was absorbed into the subspace sheilds but the enemy wouldn't have time to fire at the ship with their weapons that would do damage to it. The pulse fired into the sun making it go nova. The wave was absorbed by the sheilds but all other ships in the area would be obliterated. The crew watched as it washed over the enemy fleets the planet(s) in the system and as it washed over the Pelagai fleet as well, with nothingleft in the system the Bhaal prepared to juimp out.

"Such reckless power....."
The 2 Shadow Tech probes in the area were destroyed immediately by the sonic wave.
They had gotten the last bits of information out but at what price.
ST's research force of 2 ships 7 probes had been reduced to a mere 5 probes, all but 1 assigned. If the ST homeworld was found it would be an easy addition to any of the empires.

"Hopefully this would be enough." the council thought."to begin."

Admiral Narck smiled as he saw the Shivans nova the sun. "They're getting so predictable." He thought to himself as a crystal blue hue washed over the hulls of his ships, just seconds before the insta-boom nova hit. "I'd love to see the look on their commander's faces when they see we survived." he thought to himself again, as the nova hit.

The nova slammed into his ships, and engulfed them in fire. But when the heat dissapated, the CF ships were still there, unscathed. The blue glow fell from the assembled ships as the heat was now gone or at least out of the danger zone, the shields failing without an input of outside power.

"Blink shields down sir. Estimated time until recharge is six-zero minutes." The tactical officer yelled over the calm. He didn't need to repeat it, the ship's AIs caught it all, but he still felt it was necessary.

"Helm, take us around. If the Bhall/Ball/Whatever the hell those murdering shivan bastards call it is still here, I want it dead. And scan for survivors. If any of the allied fleets survived, coordinate with them for search and rescue duties." Narck said, his voice penetrating the air. The Shivans were in for a nasty surprise if they were stupid enough to loiter in the now destroyed system.

"About 28 ships are left, plus the ones that seems to be interdicting our hyperdrives."

The remaining fleet regrouped, and launched a second attack on the remaining enemy ships. Turbolasers and ion bolts lanced out at the Atens and Tanens, while B- and K-wing fighters used their heavy payloads to dish out capship butt-kicking damage.

Meanwhile, the Battlefleet of the Ragnarok reverted to realspace in time to see the battle almost end. Five extra Star Destroyers and several dozen fresh fighters joined the fray.
"No need to use the superlaser after all." Admiral Mordred Valian commented. Then he noticed the array of allied fleets. "It seems that our combined arms would be enough to end this war quickly; even the Federal Union is joining our side."

Jedi Knight Quinn Cohan, suddenly felt a disturbance in the Force. He ran over immediately to the Admiral, while a sensor officer looked in horror at the scanners.

"I concur! I feel it in the Force!" The Jedi added.
White-faced with fear, the admiral immediately shouted orders on open channels. "All ships, jump now! Our sun is about to go!"
Every ship that could, made it to hyperspace before the shockwave hit the planet. Despite the shield, all life was incinerated on Coredia, hundreds of millions of souls.

Seconds later, Daniel started bawling and his father and all other Jedi staggered as they felt the terrible disturbance in the Force of so many people dead.
"They...they're more terrible than I expected." Andrew was white with fear, then darkened into the flames of rage. He slammed his fist on his desk. "They'll pay for this!"
"Andrew!" A sharp word from Master Tenchi warned Andrew of his anger. "Beware!"
Slowly, the anger distipated, and Andrew was calm, just barely. "Call an emergency session of all military commanders in the fleet, plus all planetary govenors. Order them to meet here. Use the highest encryption protocols. Oh, and ask our allies to deliver whatever intelligence they have on the alien menace. We need it ASAP."
"Yes sir." the aide rushed to carry out the order.
'This alien race don't know who they're messing with.' Andrew thought darkly. 'By the Force, by the souls of the dead, I will personally make sure they never do such a thing again!'

OOC: Yeah, those ships that couldn't make it, about 20 or so, died. The rest, a majority of the fleet survived. Noty to mention the capital planet and two colonies, grrr.

When the shockwave disappeared, a scout ship scanned the area for survivors, even though the crew believes its a lost cause.
"Anything, Jake?" Major Chris Benard asked his good friend, Jake Yonar.
"No. Nothing. The two innermost planets have been completely vaporized, and I'm not getting any life signs from Coredia."
Chris sighed. "Let's go back and report. There's no one left alive."
Six planets used to orbit the now-dying star. Coredia was number 4. Molten lava is all that's left of the planet, like it was bombarded by a Star Destroyer fleet. The lava will cool, but no life will crawl out this time, for the sun is now a weak white dwarf, and all the atmosphere has been stripped. Same for the colonies farther away. The small Lady Luck-class scout ship jumped to hyperspace, leaving the now-dead planets to linger for eternity.

The explosion ruptured the warp field of 3 Akira class evssels which where caught in the tail of the fleet

"Operations- REPORT!"

The grand assembly of all the military commanders and governors in the nation has arrived on the Soveriegn. Emperor Andrew Masaki is presiding.
"Everyone. I have grave news to report. Our capital planet of Coredia...has been destroyed."
A gasp came from those who have not yet recieved the news.
"H-how?" one of the governors asked.
"An alien race called the Shivans, from what intelligence we have recieved of them, has attacked our planet, and just as we have driven them away, they choose to ignite our sun into a supernova." Andrew explained.
Horrified and angry muttering erupted in the conference room. Andrew waited for the clamor to end before speaking again.
"As far as I know, the Senate has died along with millions of other innocents. Until we can have elections again, I'm assuming the full powers of my station."
That means that the Emperor has nearly absolute power, checked by the Jedi Council, of course. Many have disagreed with the policy, including Master Tenchi, but Andrew viewed the emergency provisions as necessary in case of a situation like this.
"Firstly, I am ordering all shipyards to full war production, and then some. Secondly, all of the Governors will return to their homes and issue an emergency draft for all persons from age 15 to 60, execpt for those in vital positions (like medical and ). Anyone who disagrees will need only look at what's left of Coredia."
This he speared at the nobles who viewed military service for their sons with disdain.
"Thirdly, all military units are on full alert until further notice. No matter how long it takes, no matter what the price, we must defeat the Shivans! For they have sought to exterminate all human life, as you have seen! We shall show them that they messed with the wrong species! We shall never forget what they've done!"
"Never!" some of the younger commanders shouted.
"By the Force, we shall defeat the enemy (or at least take them down with us) and scatter their ashes across the stars!"
"YEAH!" The room erupted as the commanders rallied to Andrew's words. He didn't even have to use the Force, for his charisma and fervor was enough. The military is, as usual, completely behind their Emperor.

The CF fleet took note of the Baal's retreat. It was time to begin the chase.

The Admiral stood and began blasting out orders, some to his ship's AI, some to his various underlings. "Track them! I want to know exactly where they went. Shodan, I want positional updates every thirty minutes. Whatever you do, don't let them escape. Hopefully, we can follow this little bugger straight back to their home base. Keep the Coreworlds fleet informed as well. They'll probably be itching for revenge after this and I see no reason why we should deny them."

"Affirmative sir. We've got a good bead on them. Dimension hopping or no, we'll find 'em." Shodan replied, her/its avatar stirring in the small holotank in the center of the bridge of Narck's command ship.

The CF fleet leapt into quasi-space and began tracking the Shivan warship through their new interdimensional/FTL sensors.

Just so you know the Bhaal isn't using FTL travel, oh and the war might be ending soon possibly even peacefully, apparently IB wants me dead Reptiles said something about the ESUS and us allying to defeat him.

“Order the fleet to mass at these coordinates.” A small data pad was handed over. “If we are to destroy these pathetic life forms then we shall do it one step at a time. One world at a time.”

The ships made it out and the shields held as they took the brunt of it.
"Thank God we didn't deploy fighters,"Piett thought. Through his calmness there was an unparalelled fear, though he would die before letting his men see it. After composing himslef, he said over the com:
Piett:All allied ships, damage report. I know the enemy fell back due the desperation tactic, but how bad a condition are we in?

OOC:This evading the sun going nova, sorry I haven't been here to keep up.

OOC: Ah, but it will be the storm that consumes you.

The fleet commanders were given assignments and then sent off to their posts, to hunt down the enemy.
What's left of the government will be embodied in the Emperor and the Jedi (ironic), at least until the Senate is reconvened. Master Elendi of the Council was reluctant to allow such a policy, but was convinced by old Tenchi, at least for the duration of the conflict.
Meanwhile, a small task force was dispatched to Central Facehuggerian territory to negotiate an alliance against the Shivans. One Imperial Star Destroyer, two Nebulon-B Frigates, one Acclaimator-class Light Cruiser, and accompanying gunships and fighters make up the task force. Two Jedi have also been dispatched as ambassadors aboard the Admiral Swenson.
At the last waypoint before entering CF territory, a message droid was sent ahead with the intentions of the fleet recorded in it.
We, the people of Coreworlds, wish to enter into an alliance against the Shivans with you. It is noted that your fleet has come to our aid in our time of need, and we are most grateful for that. We believe that this is the first step in joining all of humanity and our alien allies, against the Shivans menace. May the Force be with you.

Ops:It seems they suffered moderate damage, but are still intact.
Piett:Very good, we'll wait for a situation appraisal from CoreWorlds, then continue to pursue the enemy.
OOC:How do I join this "ESUS"?

In deep space, an unmanned monitoring station watched the scene unfold. Shortly after the destruction of Coredia (and the subsequent loss of three tradeships, another monitoring station, and three patrol fleets with a loss of all hands) it transmitted warning telemetry Home. Home was displeased. In minutes a massive fleet dispatched on an intercept course with the agressors. Chance and probabilities were weighed. The Shivans were 57% technologically inferior, and, due to this, only 30% combat effective . The Traileric Armada exited hyperspace roughly 35,000 meters away from the Skivans and their allies.

What is the meaning of this?

An angered and myterious voice boomed through Skivan telecoms and such. The voice seemed to eminate directly from the central cluster of carriers..which looked much like floating cities, or more correctally as the agressors would soon find out, floating military bases.

Each nation that aided the fleet at Coredia, except for those whom Coreworlds already has diplomatic relations (TFU), also had a task force sent to them, with a similar message. Some have Jedi, some don't, but all have the same goal: to combine the different human nations into one force that could fight the Shivans effectively. Only if all nations are allied together, can we defeat the enemy.

The message wormed its way through the CF government, until it finally reached the Diplomatic Corps. Actually, compared to most messages, it reached its destination fairly quickly. Speed was obviously of the essence.

A small diplomatic transport emerged from Chimera shipyards, carrying an ambassador to the Coreworlds group. On board that ship was all the information the ESUS knew about the Shivans, as well as some biting commentary by key CF tactical coordinators.

The diplomatic transport opened a small quasi-space portal, and emerged within communications range of the Coreworlds fleet.

The pilot quickly opened a comlink. If the shivans and their allies were to be stopped, then they had to act quickly. "Attention CoreWorlds fleet, this is the CF diplomatic transport Nura, requesting permission to dock and unload our ambassador to meet with you."

The small transport waited quietly for a response. It was obviously dwarfed by the CoreWorlds Star Destroyers, and they could probably easily destroy the poorly armed transport, but hopefully they would'nt.

Although Ambassador Jacov couldn't help but hope the CoreWorlds officers were friendly.

I am still in and monitoring. Do I smell war? (And I kinda do want an answer to that.)

The captain of the Swenson gave the ok after recieving the message.
"Nura, we are opening our hangar bay for you. Our ambassadors will be waiting."
Jedi Knight Corvan Diego and his young apprentice Kerian Walter headed for the hangar bay to wait for the ship to land. Who knows what kind of alliance could be forged within the next few hours?

The small Nura began accelerating somewhat sluggishly. The pilot wasn't taking any chances, he certainly didn't want to send the wrong signal. After a few minutes, the ship glided gracefully into one of the Star Destoyers' large docking bays.

The Nura's rear entry hatch slowly fell from the rear of the ship, making a quiet *clang* sound when it met the deck. Three armored figures soon emerged from the transport, each one massive and well muscled. (Although one could barely tell, seeing as how they all wore powered armor.) After a quick look around, these three beings nodded in unison and tapped their helmets once, again in unison. A small and somewhat graying man soon exited the transport.

"Ahh! So glad to see you." he said to the jedi sent to meet him. He turned to his three bodyguards and said "Bioroids 109, 938, and 1097, you are free to return to the ship."

The bodyguards tried to protest, but Jacov silenced them with a wave of his hand, and a logical arguement. "If they bore me ill intentions, they would have already killed me. They could have destroyed our ship before it docked, or could be pumping nerve gas into this hangar bay, or something. No. I'll be fine. Return to the ship."

The bodyguards did as they were told, and Jacov was left with the Jedi. "Now, is there some place we can go where we can talk? I have information you may find useful."

Near Vi2o space
Another small taskforce, similar in size and composition to the last one, enters realspace near Vi2o space, and sends the same message. This one doesn't have Jedi, though, just normal diplomats.

"We welcome you to our ship. The captain has a stateroom from where we can, if you wish, have an audience with one of the members of the High Council." Master Diego said. "Whatever intelligence you have, will be most beneficial for them. We are also tasked with forming an alliance with your nation, at least for the duration of the war, so we can exchange maps and future intel."

Master Diego directed Jacov to the Captain's stateroom, where he called up the Core Intelligence Director, Yanosuke Uzumaki via extremely secure Holonet. A descendant of the powerful ninja Naruto, Yanosuke has the skills and power needed to help the Emperor gather intelligence to help him win wars.
"Director Uzumaki. This is Jacov, a diplomat sent to aid us in this war. He has gathered important intelligence on the Shivans that we are fighting."
The blond man raised an eyebrow, meaning that he's interested. "Interesting. Let us begin."

A sub-space blimp appeared on a early-warning scanner. The officer slapped his comm pannel. "Security General Harris, CoreWorlds vessel outside of Vi2o space. Type is unknown." Just then another officer intercepted a sub space message "General Harris, sub-space message intercepted. I am transmiting it to your office." Harris squirmed in his chair "Confirmed...both of you, confirmed"

Within two minutes Harrris was in Pres DeVitos office, both reviewing the message again. "We accept. I have always had a ceartain liking for CoreWolds, prepare a fleet. Get a Diplomat in one of the ships, too."

A Sovreign Class Cruiser with an escort of two Defiant Class Vessels entered maximum warp (Warp 9.5) toward CoreWorlds for diplomatic relations.

The taskforce found and escorted the Vi2o craft to the Emperor's ship, the Sovereign, surrounded by the majority of the fleet not currently in combat. 10 km of battleship/mobile space station, the Sovereign bristles with over a thousand weapons, from turbolasers to phasers, and has hangar space big enough to hold 3 Imperial Star Destroyers. The behemoth also happens to be the current seat of government until a way is found to fight the Shivans effectively.

Master Diego directed Jacov to the Captain's stateroom, where he called up the Core Intelligence Director, Yanosuke Uzumaki via extremely secure Holonet. A descendant of the powerful ninja Naruto, Yanosuke has the skills and power needed to help the Emperor gather intelligence to help him win wars.
"Director Uzumaki. This is Jacov, a diplomat sent to aid us in this war. He has gathered important intelligence on the Shivans that we are fighting."
The blond man raised an eyebrow, meaning that he's interested. "Interesting. Let us begin."

Jacov pulled a small holo projector from his pocket and put one of the crystals in it's recipticle. He then began speaking. "Basically, the Shivans are like giant killer cockroaches. They live in a dimension known as 'sub space.' Or rather they did. But I'll get to that later.

So far, all Shivans we've had contact with have been inside powered armor. Inside that armor, they are a match for most human infantry, one on one. The armor also has built in energy blades and some sort of particle beam weapon. On the ground, Shivans are a real pain to deal with.

In space however, they are signifigantly less dangerous. Their ships are fairly average, by our reckoning. Ship sizes range from small 100 meter cruisers, to the 4 kilometer Sathanas juggernauts. There are also several 'special mission' craft such as the Diablo, Bhall, and Gargantuan. Those are believed to be unique, and are highly dangerous. They are also signifigantly larger than normal shivan vessels. For instance, the Gargantuan is known to be at least fifty kilometers long.

The big kicker here is that certain Shivan vessels have what are known as 'sub-space shields.' Basically, they render the Shivan capital ship in question completely immune to most conventional weapons. Currently, these classes of vessels are known to mount subspace shields: 'Lucifer' class destroyer, 'Gargantuan' class ??Battle Ship??, 'Diablo' class superdestroyer, 'Bhaal' class ??Battle Ship??, as well as the Shivan worldships.

Subspace shields can be bypassed or negated through several creative methods that are detailed in the crystals I gave you.

Only a few Shivan vessels are capable of destroying planets or stars. Sathanas Juggernauts, Lucifers, Diablos, and Bhalls. The Bhall is what we suspect destroyed your capital. The Shivans often use that ability to enact a scorched earth policy. Whenever the battle turns against them, they try and retreat and nova the star.

Technologically, a Shivan Ravana destroyer is roughly equal to one of your Imperial Star Destroyers. Although the Star Destroyer is still slightly superior.

One intresting technology that most Shivan ships have are 'displacers.' They are some sort of high-capacity, high speed matter transportation unit. They use them for point defense duties, and during ground combat. As such, any ground troops should be equipped with inhibiting fields.

The recent situation has been highly chaotic. The Shivans produced a breed of hunter-killer nanite, and successfully tested these devices on the world of an ESUS ally. They consumed the planet quickly. However, latest reports indicate that these nanites have somehow gained sentience, and have usurped the Shivans from subspace. It would be advisable to mount some sort of anti-nanite weapon, so you are not 'caught with your pants down' as it were.

The Extra Solar Union of Systems has been at war with the Shivans twice. The first time, the Shivans were beaten back. This new war is still being decided, but it seems like it shall end in the complete destruction of every last Shivan, provided we can find where they are hiding.

Shivan society is a mystery. We suspect they live in some sort of communistic hive-mind, where all the parts work towards the good of the whole. This would mean that there are no Shivan civilians, and that they can all be expected to work towards victory.

This civilization of nanites is a mystery. We know they're nanites, and that they've taken over Subspace (Shivan subspace, not ST subspace.) But we know no more than that. These nanites are still shivan made though, so be extremely wary in dealing with them.

Each nation that aided the fleet at Coredia, except for those whom Coreworlds already has diplomatic relations (TFU), also had a task force sent to them, with a similar message. Some have Jedi, some don't, but all have the same goal: to combine the different human nations into one force that could fight the Shivans effectively. Only if all nations are allied together, can we defeat the enemy.

Hyperion Fleet escorted, or rather, housed the emissary's transport on board the Saving Grace on it's way to Starbase Waypoint. There President R.L. himself would enter into talks of this new all-human alliance.

Can nanites be defeated with ion weaponry? And most importantly, how can we prevent a second destruction of our systems when the Shivans begin to lose?"

Ruthless Slaughter:
"Yes, you have very hospitable." Gregory Natch, emmisary to RS territory, said over some c. "Now let us get to business once we reach your space."

Piett:The President will be beaming into the Observation Lounge just off the brigde. If you will Please follow me...*The Admiral leads Emissary Natch to a large conference room with a holoscreen showing the space around that particular section of ship taking up most of one wall and a large table in the center, complete with luncheon prepared for the three people. At the head of the table a tall, powerful looking man stood next to chair, obviously waiting for the emissay's arrival. The first thing Natch noticed were the man's piercing, cold gray eyes and stern disposition. He then said in a most commanding voice:

R.L.:Ah, Emissary, so good of you to come. Please, sit down, make yourself comfortable. As you can see, we have prepared lunch.

Then almost as soon as they had been seated, Natch noticed a change go over him. He could see the seriousness. Now was not the time for pleasantries, now was the time for war.

R.L.:What happened to your sun was intolerable. From what I hear, you weren't the first to be victimised by these filthy animals. Without further ado, let's hear your proposal.

"Let me see...Gravity works well on Subspace shields. It simply acts *through* the shields. Just create a massive gravity well nearby and watch as the offending ship is crushed like a tin can. Or, you could do what we do. Subspace shields resonate at a particular frequency. Scan each ship and see how fast it's vibrating, and then set your weapons to vibrate at the opposite frequency. Some of our weapons allow us to easily do that. I'm not too sure about yours though.

These nanites cannot be defeated with ion weaponry. We reccommend wide bursts of gamma radiation, or kinetic energy weapons. Under no circumstances are you to use traditional energy based weaponry. Beam cannons, turbolasers, et cetera. The nanites will feed off of the energy and reproduce.

As for preventing the Shivans from destorying a star? Once it's begun, there is no way to stop it. You've simply got to stop the shivan vessels in question before they can fire. Often, Shivan ships will hide too close to the system's star. If you can disable the subspace shields, they'll probably get consumed by the Star's corona."

Director Uzumaki sifted through the information in his head. Hmm. Perhaps our Interdictor Cruisers can be modified to be used as an offensive weapon. Better test that. We don't use frequency based weaponry, unless you count the phasers, but we don't always have them. Maybe we can tailor-make some ships with more powerful phaser-based weaponry. I don't know about gamma bursts for nanites, maybe try and modify sensors to produce them. Now KE weapons...aha! tractor beams! tossing asteroids at them oughta do the trick..

R.L.:Mmm... These Shivans have proven to be a worthy foe. I agree, now that all humans are marked, uniting would be the best choice. Together, these Shivans stand no chance against us. My reccomendation for any iminent future encounters, place defenses around the star and the edge of all allied systems. I'm contributing 500 Strike Cruisers and one Ravan to patrol for any Shivan vessels in my system. There are also long range sensor probes to dtect enemy vessels. Hyperion Fleet will be returning with you to the front lines. We only showed them a mere taste of our power.

"I should note that phasers will not work. I'm not exactly sure why, but it has been established by the unfourtunate loss of several of our allies treknology ships that phasers won't work against subspace shields. They don't work on the proper principles, if what our egg heads tell me is true. The subspace shields vibrate at a certain speed unique to each ship. You need a weapon which vibrates at the exact opposite speed. Or was it the exact same speed? Ahh, I don't exactly remember. It's on the crystal (looking it up on hard drive now. :D) The point is that the vibrations cancel each other out. Phasers don't, as far as I know, vibrate at all. You can see my obvious grasp of phaser physics (or lack thereof.)

You'll also need some sort of method of preventing matter teleportation. Shivan displacers are highly accurate."

Neopol sits in his captain's chair, pondering the situation. He brings the message from the vi2oian task force up on the big screen. Then he exits out of it.

" Hail Coreworlds. Tell him we would like to set up diplomatic relations, and find out what exactly is going on."

"oh, and i will be going with them"

The officer stares at him.

"Sir, then who will be captain for the period of your abscence?"

The officer looks at him with greedy eyes. Neopol stares back with his gray, cold eyes.

" Yarnaut will be."

The officer hunches over slightly.

"yes, sir"

"Now, open that channel to Coreworlds. NOW!"

"Yes, sir!"

"Initiatiate docking procedure, helm. Maneuvering engines only." Wydnam wondered what would happen if a ship collided while attempting docking for diplomatic realtions. "Heh, forget diplomac 'relations'. Theyd be discussing the transaction of funds for repair of the vessel" he said to himself.

"Docking complete, sir. Landing struts are down and locked, Shutting down impulse engines." Wydnam snapped out of his daze. "Uh...yes, yes...good."

The landing struts doubled as exit/entrance ramps to the ship. The diplomat walked down behind two security officers.

The Diplomacy Room is exactly what it implies: a large, plush room suited to the entertaining of ambassadors whenever the Emperor is onboard the Sovereign. It has numerous sofas, a tank full of fish from all over the galaxy, and even a fully-stocked bar. No expense is spared for the guests of Coreworlds.

Andrew McLoid, the Vi2oian diplomat followed the officer to the Diplomacy room. The two security guards almost followed him, but he signaled for them to halt and flashed his dual phased polaron beam emmiters. They looked at eachother and went back to the ship. "I hope its not a problem." He said to the officer which was escorting him with a smile. He walked into the room, and looked around quickly. "Hello..." He said, still smiling. He noticed that he was a bit late.

Neopol grunted. They need to reply to our message so we can find out what the hell is going on, he thought. He shifted uneasily in his chair.

" Message base and put reinforcements on standby."

The State Department took the call, after it was almost drowned in the bureaucracy. The Undersecratary for Intergalactic Affairs sent a reply.
Yes we would like to initiate diplomatic relations, and so far, there has been no further attacks by the Shivans as of late, but we have no doubt they'll come in force again.

Vi2o:
The Emperor went over to the diplomat and shook hands with him. "I thank you for coming here on short notice. Would you like anything to drink before getting down to business?"

"I will see it to that the State Department sends an ambassador to your nation asap." The Director said. "Thank you again for all the information, it will be useful for future battles. Now if you'll excuse me, I have pressing business to attend to."
The Director disappeared from the specially-encrypted holoscreen, off to get his contacts to put the intelligence to work.

..Did you read the send? And my ships use well developed compressed space technology, 4 'sturn' ships may be able to get a few shots off before they are destroyed. Not that they'll hit anything..

The officer stationed at the message receptor was half asleep when the screen lit up and there was a loud beep. Loud, at least, to him. He looked over the message, then called for the Captain.

"Sir, they have replied. They would also like to set up diplomatic relations."

"Good, good. Prepare the Wheir for departure. I'll be going now. Yarnaut....

He looked over to a Young youth. Yarnaut, no older than 22, had a rough worn face, and eyes like fire yearning for adventure.

" Fill in as Captain during my abscence."

"Yes,sir" replied Yarnaut.

Neopol turned, and exited the Bridge, heading towards the launching bay. He was escorted by two soldiers. Both had reinforced Armor and carried a particle gun, and a high frequency plasma bomb incase things looked grim. Yarnaut watched his captain leave, then looked at the chair he always wanted to sit in. Finally, he was captain. Though it was only for a little bit, he still was floating with joy. He sat down, and admired the chair for a moment. Then he awoke from his day dream, and looked around at his crew. They were all staring at him.

" Well, dont just sit around, BACK TO WORK!" Scolded Yarnaut.

"Yes, sir," replied the crew in unison.

=In the launching bay=

Neopol was Entering the Wheir with his body guards. He sat down in the passenger seat, while his bodyguards started up the ship. The body guard on the right, known only as #15 pressed and held down a button.

" This is #15. Engines online. Package is secure. We are ready for take off." He said.

" Very well, proceed with take off," came the answer, a bit of static in his voice.

"Roger." Replied #15.

He let go of the button, and set a course for Coreworlds. The Bay doors, 3 feet thick reinforced trimantium armor, opened with a mechanical squeak. The Wheir took off, with a roar, and made it's way towards it's destination.

That wouldn't help you against spacial compression weapons, just like they don't help you against gravity weapons. Similar concept actually.

Mcloid recieved the handshake. "It is no problem to Vi2o of myself at all. We are your allies in the cause...and some water would be fine, if you do not mind. They teach us to use food socialy. Its almost a habbit to accept." He said, as he adjusted his shirt. "So, what new do we know about our enemy?"

Deep inside a collection of black holes known only as Hell's Gate, scientists and technicians were hard at work on what could be the biggest breackthrough since Coreworlds discovered hyperspace. Drawing upon gravitic technologies discovered centuries before, they seek to create a weapon more powerful than the superlaser, a weapon that could revolutionize warfare as we know it.
Due to the nature of the black holes surrounding the scientific/weapons lab, the scientists did not realize that Coredia has been destroyed, until a courier ship was brave enough to skirt the yawning maw of the black holes and give the commander of the base the latest news, several days after it happened. The effort to complete the research was thus doubled, as the shock of the death of the capital gave way to grim determination to overcome the enemy.
One such scientist, a 40-something astrophysicist named Grigory Ivanovich Pavlov, or just Greg, hit upon an unusual equation, an equation to do with gravitics...
"This...can't be." He muttered. "I got to check the equations again."
He went through the equations, tryign to figure out if there's a mistake somewhere. But his mind, seeing the possibility that the equation would bring, slowly brightened.
"Can...this be what we've been looking for? The key to unlock the secrets of gravitic weaponry?"
He took the datapad, and walked hurredly to his collegues. When they added his equations to their own, they were astonished. It was the answer they were seeking! The first stage of the research is done. Now it is time to develop the next generation of weapons...

"Very well." The Emperor poured some water for him and the diplomat. "My Director of Intelligence should be sending me a report soon from an ally, so I don't know the capabilites of..."
An aide came in with a large binder labeled "The Shivan Menace", probably a bad joke from one of the intel guys. "Ah, here we are."
The Emperor leafed quickly, and took out the most relevant bits. "This is the information we have acquired from an ally who has fought the Shivans for a long time. I will be copying and sending the info, upon request, to the allies I have gathered."

Captain Neopol was staring out the window into the ever extending beauty of space. He remembered when space travel was but a joke. He was awakened from his daydream by the voice of #15. #15 was holding down the comminication button.

" This is Wheir, of the Dredock. We request docking permission."


Meanwhile, aboard the Dredock. Yarnaut was watching the Wheir grow dimmer and dimmer. He thought to himself, with just a press of a button, Neopol could be gone, and i would be permanent captain. He looked around at the crew that could also be permanently his. He was about to give the order to lock onto the Wheir, when he was struck by a pang of guilt. He couldn't do that to Neopol. He was like a father to him. Ever since he found him abandoned in the streets, Yarnaut has been under Neopol's wings. And yet it was the same thing that made him yearn to give the order to permanently put an end to Neopol's reign as his superior.

Neopol almost jumped out of his seat.

"What is it?"

" The Wheir has reached it's destination, and is asking permission to dock"

"So.........." replied Yarnaut.

" Just thought you might want to know." said the officer, looking quite frightened now.

"Thank you." McLoid quickly, but carefully read the reports. "Sub-space shielding?" He said out loud. "That sounds intristing. I wonder if sub-space communications affect it in any way." He was now looking at the Emperor. "This is very informative. Suppose we where to capture a sub-space shield generator off of a Shivan vessel" He gave a 30 degree smile. He sipped his water. "I would like a copy of this, if it is no trouble. Erm...do we have any effective method against this class of shielding? It is the only thing that truly bothers me, because the Vi2oian ships specialize in swarming larger ships, bringing down shields and disabling critical systems so that larger ships, like your own can go in for the kill." He sipped his water again.

All I can say is that the ESUS has tried to capture subspace shields before. The shivans will actually destroy their own ship if it looks like it's going to be captured.

We don't exactly have the best technology available, but I have technicians working on our Interdictor cruisers to see if we can use gravity well projectors as an offensive weapon." The Emperor said. "Oh yeah, I also noticed from the report that the Shivans will try to destroy their own ships rather than let them be captured, so I suppose capturing them is out of the question."

The Wheir, after recieveing permission to dock, entered the docking bay. Once the engines were offline, Neopol stood up. The ship doors opened swiftly and smoothely. Out walked Neopol, closely followed by his two body guards. They walked to the front doors of the conference room and knocked.

"Well, we use a similar method. Our auto-destruct sequence realses all mattter and anti matter at the same time as well as detonation multiple explosive devices placed on board. That leaves nothing but a huge cloud of radiation." He said. "There is a way. They dont have to know that their ship is ebing captured, do they?" He gave another 30 degree smile. Then their was a knock at the door.

A young petty officer led the diplomat from TheLiberator to the Diplomacy Room, where the Emperor and the Vi2o diplomat were chatting away. "Ah, you must be...Neopol. Come in! Do you want anything?"

Neopol looked from The Emperor to the crystal disk in the vi2oian embassador's hand.

" Yes, i'd like a martini, if you don't mind." Said Neopol, with a pleasant air.

His two body guards stood beside him. Neopol looked at them, and they both exited out of the door, not too far away.

The Shivan world stations alive with activity, were at constant battle alert, their systems scanning the horizons for enemies would now help them from the Nanite foe. The subspace shielding Omni directional proved to be the Shivans greatest strength yet their greatest fallibility. The blue haze representing the Shivan defence suddenly grew all black as out of subspace swarms of Nanites were being unleashed. Impacting upon the hulls the Nanites began to tear apart the hulls and power systems atom by atom. The energy gained from breaking apart the atoms allowed the Nanites to replicate a hundred fold spelling certain doom for the rogue Shivan constructs.

Inside the station as hull breeches emerged the Shivan atmosphere leaked and blew out into the void of space that is this reality. Along with the destruction of the Nanites came a maniacal message transmitted in all frequencies and all known languages.

“Betray me will you.” After that all that could be heard was laughter.

OOC: As soon as one nanite hits you your dead. The other clans have no way to stop me destroying them, and if you use subspace shields again you can consider what remains of your forces to be devoured instantly.

As Hyperion Fleet made its way to the front line, Admiral Piett considered options with his security chief and tactical officer...

Piett:Well I know they'd be done for if we could knock out their fleet-encompasing shield! And you're my tactical officer?!?!

Sec: What I think he means sir, is that if we can find a way to disable the shields, we could pretty much pick them apart with a blast from the forward gun and a Strike Cruiser charge.

Piett: It seems I'll have to do some rearranging on the duty rosters...

Tact: Engineering thinks they have a way. They can refocus the tractor beam on one of the Ravans to sap the shield energy, then rendering us a few seconds to fire on them before they can bring individual shields up.

Piett: Excellent! But what about doing it on the Saving Grace? We can refilter the energy into the forward gun for a faster charge time and, hopefully, blast the Shivans before they can raise shields.

Sec: But our tractor beam systems are currntly untested sir. She was brought into war before we could work the kinks out.

Piett: Piett to bridge! All stop! *to security officer* Then we shall make sure it's foolproof. Bring one of the Ravans closer, we'll start with a big fish and work our way down if any problems arise.

The test of the tractor beam commences. Once it is proven foolproof, the shield draining system will implemented on a Strike Criuser.

OOC: Hyperion Fleet is about two hours away from the front lines.

One of the scientists hit upon old notes on gravitic bombs that were discarded long ago as useless.
"Hey Greg! Take a look at this! Our predecessors have tried to build gravitic bombs, but it seems that they were too expensive to build."
"Really? Maybe now we can add what they did to our research and actually build them!"
"Let's get to work, then."
Following the combined notes, the scientists took many hours to construct several bombs for testing. One scientist actually managed to hurl a bomb several thousand miles using a tractor beam, and it impacted upon an asteroid, sucking the piece of rock in when it detonated.
"Amazing! Can we do that with singularities like the ones outside?" a young scientist by the name of Walter asked.
"Let's try it!" And so they pointed the tractor beam to a small black hole, and to their amazement, the black hole was pushed farther away rather than attracted or 'grabbed'. Also, they managed to use a gravity well projector and tractor beams to create their own singularities, though they lasted only about 5 minutes. With the combination of the different tools, Gregory was shaking with excitement, as he realized the implications of the bombs and the ability to make singularities. This will definitely revolutionize warfare!!
"Ladies and gentlemen...I do believe we created a new kind of weapon." Gregory announced. "What shall we call it?"
"How about the 'Singularity Cannon'?" one suggested.
"Well. I suppose we can go with that. Quickly! Make some more bombs and Singularity Cannons so we can give a demonstration to the Emperor. He's going to love it!"

So Hell's Gate, thanks to the plentiful black holes in the area, gave birth to a singularity-making factory, the first of it's kind in Coreworlds, and perhaps the galaxy.

Ops:Sir, there were some bugs in the beam's output, but we've isolated and eliminated them. I believe we're ready to test the shield drain.

Piett:Very good. Piett to Strike Cruiser Nova's Fury, come to within ten thousand meters of the ship.

NF: Roger sir, 10k meters.

Piett: Fire!

The normally blue tractor beam glowed emerald green and collided head-on to the Strike Cruiser.

Ops: Their shields are down to 50% after twenty seconds! This is incredible!

Piett: Now you see why I wanted THIS ship for the experiment. How is energy flow from their shield to the ionic regulators?

Ops: Added with the regular charge rate, the forward gun should be ready to fire approximately ten seconds before the Shivans' fleetwide shield is completely gone.

Piett: Very good! Discontinue beam. We'll give the cruiser enough time to regain shield strength and then on to the front!

A cheer erupted from all fleet ships. The Dominion now had an edge.

Right now she was working on the possibility that sub-space communications might affect it. She thought that if a ship was to send out a sub-space message on all frequencies and scan for a repeating signal that would have emmited from the shields, the ship could track down the shield modulation frequency and set their weapons to the same exact frequency. This, in turn would completely bypass the shields, making them usless until the frequency was changed. It is only theory, though. Tests and more research and yet more tests where still to come.

OOC: I'm clueless as on what to do. I've been left in the dark so to speak. The only person i can actually play is Neopol. Only one where action might take place. Awwell. :p

OOC: Shivan subspace is different from Star Trek subspace. A subspace message won't affect the shields in the least. Nor will it detect them. (To be really accurate, it should be called Shivanspace or something. But they chose subspace for whatever reason, so that's where the confusion comes from.)

Saider, a 43 year old Admiral has the honor of commanding almost the whole Vi2o Space Force in this battle, which, even in his 43 years, was the largest battle he had been in ever.

"Alright. Maintain course with the rest of the allied fleets." He said as he looked down at his information display, which was currently displaying a three-demintional layout of the abttle field and all of the ships currently in it. He was amazed, flying along one of TheLiberators flag ships, and the massive Ruthless Slaughter forces, and now the East Cost Federation fleet, and Warhaven, who Vi2o had called upon for assistance. Warhaven...thats right...

King Warfare thought to himself, if they were going to ask me to stratigize, then what better way than in person? He sent the Queens ship he was on over towards the ship the sent the message, and Beamed aboard.

The Grand Fleet dropped out of warp near the RS fleet.

The aforementioned Traileric fleet gave up pursuit of the Skivans for now. Their course was altered so as to meet up with the other gathering fleets. They exited hyperspace a little over 200 Km away.

King Warfare thought about it a moment, and then teleported to the Lounge, he then picked a spot in the corner and stood there in silence.

We are sending 100 more ships which will mean our numbers will be up to 223.
The TITAN class is a very heavy battleship over 300 times more powerful than all of are other ships.
However the Sovereign and Defiant and Akria fleets have been upgraded with 80 Terajoule Phasers. That should allow them to pack more punch.
Whats the battle plan.
And when kind of ships are we facing?

Commodore De Tua stood upon the bridge of his Dreadnought, the FSS Ancestors Legacy and surveyed the blue and white ships of the Fleet on his Holoscreen. The Fleet had just reverted after the Fold, and the UFGZ ships positioned themselves with the rest of the Allied Fleet.

The Commodore was near death, he had served on the Bismarck over a hundred years ago. However, his military prowess was unsurpassed in the entire Federated Navy. He walked along the white corridors toward the Transport room, speeding along like a 20-year old cadet.

He had decided that he would be a little pompous at this meeting, and he had decided to don his dustly, flowing white-and-gold Dress Uniform. He stepped on the Transporter pedestal and awaited his transport to the lounge where the Commanders of the Fleet would discuss how best to attack the Shivan Fleet. In his hand he held a bottle of Peppermint Schnaps.

As he materialized inside the lounge, he raised the glass bottle he held high in the air and shouted in his most arrogant voice, "I bring victory, all we need now is a corkscrew!"

The Star Destroyer Yosho Masaki, the personal warship of the royal family, also attends the gathering, as Jedi Master Tenchi Masaki, aboard the ship, continues to gather allies for the upcoming conflict against the Shivans.

The wedge-shaped battlecruiser jumps into the system where the gathering is being held, and adds a large battle-fleet to the mix, to fight those Shivans without subspace shields.

Meanwhile, the Emperor gave an audience to the scientists who created the singularity cannons and gravitic bombs. After a short test with an old ship (full of death-row convicts) and some asteroids, the Emperor was pleased enough to order full production of the gravitic bombs (and missile versions), and also ordered his engineers to design a ship capable of carrying the singularity cannons. Soon, the Shivans will learn to fear the might of the Imperial Republic!

Admiral Dredhamer stepped out of the transporter room on the Saving Grace, and walked down the hall to the turbo lift, which he then took to the observation lounge. He wore a black uniform, decorated with hundreds of medals, his sidearm close at hand.

Master Masaki used a shuttle to get to the Saving Grace. After permission was given, he swiftly landed and was escorted to the conference/observation room.

There is a fleet of 10 Star Destroyers in-system, plus attending craft. That makes out to about 40-50 ships, not counting fighters.

I am the one who is many. I have a total of 25 ships of great power.

6 more TITAN class ships are done we rushed as fast as possible to finish them, they will join you shortly. However we have no more TITAN class ships that can be finished in short of 2 years :(
But are total number of ships is 200 Defiant/AKria./Sovgerein class ships.
And 30 TITAN class ships.

From Admiral Willing: Our Basic Plan is this.

1st off. We will not engage any ships with SS sheilds as we have no way to bring them down. However we could emit a subspace pluse to disroupt them.

The Defiant Wing will engage all of the corvettes and fighters. This wing inculdes 50 Ships

The Galaxy wing will transport any wounded off a cripped ship
There are 20 of these ships
The Akria Wing will Assist in the Defense of any Important ship that is carrying leaders in the Allied Fleet if you would like the defense ask now. Or we will simply engage small ships with it.
This Wing Has 23 Ships
The Sovereign wing will engage the Destoryers.
This Inculdes 50 ships

The TITAN Wing will directly engage any ships with no SS sheilds. This wing will work closely with allied ships so I am sending a direct link to all allied capitol ships. We want to Work as closeley as possible please let us know if you want to cordernate with us. The TITAN Wing is our Premier Class and Inculdes 28 Ships
Here are it's specs
1 WarpCore and 4 QC Reactors this new ship is the pinnicale of ECF tech. It can mantain Warp 9.993 for 30 Hours.
The Shields are capable of taking up to 500 Gigatons of Damage Before Overload.
ReCharge Rate is 10% every 10 seconds. They are also capable of defelecting large objects.
The new Phaser Strips each are capable of 3.1 Gigaton shots. And there are 14 of them.
There are also 12 TransPhasic Torpedo Lunchers.(SP)
The entire EPS grid and main power relays are surronded by Liquid Nitrogen and integritiy fields.
As all ECF ships are. The TITAN Class is fast and maneuverable and is capable of dodging unguided weapons fire.

So we have 171 Ships at our Disposal.

Okay, one thing I need to save from my confusion. Is this thread linked with the OTHER thread attacking the CoreWorlds?

OOC: No. it's unrelated, as I and IB decided. I didn't really like the sun going nova on my capital so quickly (I'd advise a long war before doing that), so this thread is basically alternate history as far as I'm concerned. I'll still RP here, but the other thread is the real path I'd take against the Shivans. Besides, Imperial Brits is a great RPer.

Piett: I believe we should dispatch small hunter-killer groups along remote areas of the system. If we find anything, we implement your basic tactic: gang up on them with the shield drain. I would advise you let my flagship take care of most of that, however, because the original plan was to divert the energy into the forward gun to reduce charge time. As it was, there was only give or take ten seconds between the gun's charge and the shield's collapse. I suggest you use yours only this plan fails.
