ooc: Tomahawks are actually one of the smartest cruise missiles available. If 100 were sent, I think atleast 5 would have found there targets.

No, no you misunderstand me, I am not talking about your attack, I am talking about your defense!!

Then the missiles came... and were all intercepted by the Gattling Guns, Phalanx Systems, AMs, and SAMS.

100 missiles, atleast 5 would have hit...ATLEAST. The Sea Skimmers, would not have ALL been destroyed.

ooc: Where did you get those statistics? 95% sounds next to impossible to me....and Sea Skimmer's refer to supersonic missiles that hug the ocean, meaning that they can possibly travel faster than mach 2.3 and that since they travel so low, it is very hard to detect them.

ALL 100 of them ARE NOT GOING TO hit there targets, especially not Sea Skimmers!

The shells were the first too arrive. 2 M-Battleships were shot full of holes and began too sink. A G-Battleships cannon was destroyed and the aircraft carrier took a hit. Due too their rather small size the WILLIE-WILLIEs did not take a hit. Then the missiles came... and were all intercepted by the Gattling Guns, Phalanx Systems, AMs, and SAMS. The enemy fighters were no problem. when only 5 were shot down the rest retreated. But not before the ten F-22s with missiles emptied their payloads at the enemy aircraft.
OOC: FYI... There's no way you an really engage sea skimmers successfully. Sea skimmers are often lost in the surface, due to its low flight. When it appears on the radar, it would be already a few KMs closer to the ship, therefore the chance of hitting them is very low.

There are no way to shoot down 100 sea-skimmers. More like 5 to 15 MAXIMUM (15 being lucky).

I can understand what you mean. Military stuff IS complex here, but that's essentially the "Rule of Engagement" --- follow it.

Xiaguo had sent 4diplomats to ingage Japann in peace talks, the diplomats are to be sent in with at least 7special forces and be sent to Tokyo bay.
The Chairman and Prime Minister helds a banquet in the halls of the Ministry office and discusses the Japnn issues. War protesters outside the office were allowed to stay as long as no violent obstructions were caused. During the evening, protesters volunteerily disbanded because of the severe cold. Hanren and _Taiwan's Embassy Operators had arrive and they had moved into the office and had a long meeting of at least 8hours. They finally included that Xaiguo will not put offensive measures until UC region officially declares war or any of the nations are attacked be Japann. Others are classified to UC region

OOC:Okay I am back but I still havent decided what too do about those missiles... Ill just retreat the fleet.

IC:What remained of the fleet began too run. They steamed out of Kagoshima bay and began too run away as ast as possible.

Meanwhile at the Senora Biological Research, Production, and Storage Facility.

"Te-Minus 10 seconds until launch. 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. LAUNCH!" The Soyuz IRBM filled with deadly anthrax GAMMA roared out of its launch pad and towards Tokyo.

OOC: Anthrax GAMMA is a very deadly toxin capable of killing within 30 minutes. The actual substance is goo like and airborne. The symptoms are inhumane amounts of pain, bleeding at the mouth, hair loss, and internal bleeding. Anthrax GAMMA is capable of surviving a the kind of explosion produced by a grenade. Thus there are plastic explosives within the missile that will go off with the equivalant force of a grenade.

The missile defenses on the IVCA fleet on the east coast of Japan lit up.

"Sir, Vampire! I repeat Vampire."

"A single missile? I don't like the sound of that! What is it's trajectory?", replied the CINCFLEET Flurio Pizano.

"From its current course and vector...the computer says Tokyo.", was the answer from the other end of the room.

"Engage counter measures, its most likely NBC, send the airborne F-14's on an intercept, and launch the alert fighters."

"Aye Aye captain."

Soon the squadron of F-14's, and their AWACs were on an intercept vector to reach the missile. This was a very risky mission, stopping an allied missile from hitting an enemy target! Such a contradiction, but they could not afford to let a biological missile hit such a major population center, no matter the owner.

There was still a great chance that the Japanese air defense would take out the missile, but that was a chance no one wanted to take.

As the fighters saw the missile on their lowlight television screens they activated their radar, giving away their position to any waiting aircraft, but allowing them to get a lock on the IRBM.

"Tally ho, I got tone. Roger, firing missiles", shouted the lead pilot, breaking radio silence so close to the enemies position.

6 AIM-132's were airborne closing in on the missile with supersonic speed.

OC: One patriot missile was succesfull. It hit the IRBMs engine as it was reentering thee Troposphere/ Unfortunantly it was only the engine. The IRBM plummeted towards the ground. It landed dead in the centeer of Chiba. The pressure from landing caused the plastic explosives too detonate. And suddenly the toxins were spreading through the city.

OOC: 30 minutes for a kill time is totally impossible. It won't even have spread over the body yet.

IC:

The missiles hit a warehouse in the suburbs on Chiba. A few minutes after that, the workers in the warehouse are approached by troops in chemical protection vests, lined up against the wall, and shot. Others in the prevailing wind are told to stay indoors and given anthrax anti-biotics. President Akibura also enacts a vaccination program for the rest of the nation against possible pathogens.

IVCA's position in this war is changing however, now that Japann has backed down from invading China, and Red Tide used chemical weapons against them. Most likely IVCA will withdraw from the region, but East Islandias stance will affect that decision greatly.

IRBM's never really go too far out of the atmosphere, and my planes can catch it decending or ascending...so yes they do have a chance of hitting it as well.

We have reason to beleive it landed in PRC China, and was painted in Chinese colors, and technically modified. Its ours. Don't attack."

The Dragos kept pace with the J-10, their engines at medium power, and their machine guns armed. If need be they could quickly switch to their AAMs with a verbal command and lock on almost immediately, but at this point they didn't want to startle the Chinese pilot with Threat Warnings.

The message was sent, and the plane came ever closer. It streaked passed, and landed on the deck. Marines surrounded it, and took the pilot to the brig. He kept saying in somewhat broken English "I'm your friend. I want to be free." The soldiers meanwhile had the plane brought down below the deck. As an "excuse," an F/A 18 Hornet was dispatched to fly to Taiwan, in 'place' of the 'JAS 39 Gripen.' The aircraft carrier departed the fleet for Taiwan. Then the rest of the fleet headed north, up the Boso (sp?) penninsula, off the coast near Narita international airport. The 32 Visby corvettes unleashed 64 RBS 15 missiles at the coastal defenses. Helicopters waited as planes from the remaining carrier took off to pound defenses and neutrilize supposed air forces at Narita airport.

Do me and Aggy a favor and REWIND. Our planes were right next to the J10, so we would have flown in front of it and surrounded it (our planes are more maneuverable than a J10), and we would know how to identify a J10. I use them and Agrigento is familiar with them; we know Gripens look NOTHING like a J10, or its base craft the Lavi, for that matter.
So please, please, please rewind. The sequence of events was also too fast.

IC: Radars have detected the huge swarm of unidentified Chinese aircraft following the two C-130s. Two squadrons of CF-129(my F-29 Drow in Canadian service) and one of CF-105Ms each have been scrambled. All are flying with their 'multiple target generators' on, the 36 aircraft are appearing as 96 headed towards your aircraft. If you enter Canadian(Military Rule) airspace you will be attacked and forced back.

The aircraft are hoping the J12s will either reach bingo fuel(which must be soon...) or turn back. On the horizon they see a huge swarm of fighters, they must be friendly...

THe two J10s vectored towards the fighters.

Meanwhile, two Su37s of Wake Squadron vectored in on the incoming dogfight. Wu had ordered them to be armed with modified AAMs, missiles with a less than normal explosive warhead and a special guidance program that would send it towards the engine at a survivable angle. The new tech was still experimental, but some farsighted techie had taken it along with the First Fighter Division.

"Acquire target," the first pilot ordered. "Fire when ready."
"Target acquired," the second one said. "Missile firing."

"I'm closing," Naomi announced. "seeking gun lock. back me up, comrades."

OOC: Stealth doesn't mean invisible to radar, just harder to see, the big, powerful land radars are focusing on the small, fast moving targets and directing the fighters...

"Bonstockian fleet, this is Lieutenant Chuan, Section Leader of Vermilion Squadron. Be advised we are not, repeat, ARE NOT, trying to gun for you. We are trying to take out that J10, and we have two fighters inbound with new, experimental weapons that can hopefully disable a plane without sending it into a violent spin. And be warned that we are prepared to kill this man, should all else fail," Chuan said. IT was a lie, that they were prepared to kill the fighter pilot, but the Bonstockians didnt know that. "FOr God's sakes, please stay out of our way."

High above the clouds, two stealth fighters vectored towards the scene below. Tot he west, four S37s from Eijin Squadron on a standard CAP changed course and flew parallel to the coast, awaiting orders if necessary.

Four more FA 18s take off, trying to intimidate the fighters. They are told to let the J10 land, be it a J10 or a JAS 39. Meanwhile, some miles away, a straggling Visby corvette saw the two stealth fighters in the sky, and alerted the carriers. This was the prize Bonstock wanted.

As the missiles have sucessfully destroyed their targets, all fighters were ordered to turn back and head for the safety of the ARSNV Zhang Xueliang. In a case of retaliation, more J-10s and J-12s have been despatched to rendevous with the returning squadron and to act as support.

The Ivans and their Canadian allies are not going to like this act of patriotism.

"Missiles fired!" crys the startled trailing C-130 pilot as chaff pours out of almost all of the aircraft, the CF-105Ms instantly hit their radar jammers hoping to lure the missiles away.

As this happens the armada of Canadian pilots cross paths with the smaller party. The trailing C-130 erupts in a ball of flames, the forward one flys on unscathed.

The Canadian CF-105s fire as they cross the line with the cargo planes and their escort. Forty-eight AA-12 missiles fly out from their weapons bays flying towards the J12s. Twenty seconds later the CF-129s fire their AA-12s into the squads of J12s. A total of 96 AA-12s race towards the enemy J12s.

Capt. Tanello weighed his options. 8 Hornets vs. 2 J10's, 2 J14's, 2 Dragos and 4 F-14Ds en-route. Hell I would have to be crazy to back down from this...or anything. With the odds in his favor Tanello opened up communication with the Bonstock Fighters.

"We will not back-off, this fighter will not fall into your hands, no matter the cost. You are out-gunned and soon will be out-numbered, I suggest you back off immediately."

The Canadian CF-105s fire as they cross the line with the cargo planes and their escort. Forty-eight AA-12 missiles fly out from their weapons bays flying towards the J12s. Twenty seconds later the CF-129s fire their AA-12s into the squads of J12s. A total of 96 AA-12s race towards the enemy J12s.

All J-12s immediately by their pilots' instinct deploy metal chaffs. Others were brave enough to fire back with AAMs on the AA-12s. The group of 45 J-12s suddenly splitted into 3 groups of 15.

after opening and reading it, Akibura orders the diplomats out of the Courtyard. One of the diplomats called and after a few moments, Xiaguo's Special Ops dropped in and Escorted the four diplomats back to the car, this time riding in a Xiaguo made car. As they drove not back to the Fuji Hotel, but to Tokyo Int. Airport, a private jet was used to transport all of them. After 1ominuted in the air, 3 jets came and escorted them back to Sino to refuel. During the flight at least 4 missiles were fired upon them, one jet was shot, 2 were harmed. the pilot escaped injuries and was rescued shortly by a Xiaguo scouting ship. After the safe landing of the diplomats, Xiaguo launches sidewinders at Tokyo and many buildings were crushed because of the missiles' main purpose, demolition.
As many as 30 jets flew in and out of Tokyo, 8were shot down estimated 370buildings were destroyed. ~Planned Attack~

The Hornets continued flying over, waiting for interceptors to come up against them. They were just now flying over Yokohama, seemingly headed for Tokyo. Of course, they were to turn quickly as soon as intercepted, and head for the friendly aircraft. It was almost a two for one deal. The Agrigentinians would shoot down some Japanese fighters, and some of their fighters would be shot down too. Bonstock would posess fighters of its enemies and "friends" for research to make Bonstocknian fighters better.

Aboard the Naga class cruiser Chang Tsuo, the atmosphere was tense, especially aboard the bridge. Captain Cho had recieved orders from Command to launch strikes, especially after "allied" fighters provoked the Japanese Home Islands Air Defense Network.

"Captain Cho, we are downloading target coordinates from Cloudwatch. They report that these are our updated priority strike plans," Communications reported.

"Send them to firing control. Arm missiles and prepare for strikes against ground based missile batteries, active link homing and terrain following. Also, prepare our air defenses just in case, and tell Shore Command to get that damned fighter screen!" Cho ordered.

"Hai," the officers replied.

Within minutes, Russian made cruise missiles and Islandian GS-6000 Ground Attack/Radar Homing Cruise Missiles were launched at targets in Japan, most notably the Patriot batteries currently firing at the Bonstockian SAMs. these cruise missiles were all updated versions of those from the Islandian Wars, where they had been used with great success against Patriot batteries employed by breakaway West Islandian Air Defence Forces.

THeir J10s, however much of an improvment over regular, stock J10s manufactured by Chengdu Aircraft COmpany in China, were still probably not as good as those F22s that Cloudwatch had told them about. Still, the two of them combined had about twenty years in the Islandian Air Force, so they may be better off there.
The J14s and Dragos stood more of a chance; Naomi had actually flown her plane against West Islandian F22s several times before; score was West Islandia:zero, Captain Naomi Tranh:three kills and two assists.
Once the fighters realized that the BOnstockians werent out to get them, they quickly spread into formation and kept their heading, waiting to back up their Bonstockian "comrades" should they need help. Cloudwatch had told them that the entire Home Islands air defence network was going off, and probably, along with a few Patriots, F15s, F22s, and whatever other planes the Japanese used.
"Get ready," Anh breathed. "Theyre coming."
A swarm of fighters appeared on the horizon.

The J37 pilots booed, as there was a long going dispute between J37 pilots and S37 pilots (OOC NOT TO bE confused plz) had a long going rivalry about who was the best FSW fighter plane (and squadron).
"Su37s of Einoro Squadron are here," Commander Liang announced. "THree more are inbound."

Naomi smiled. She was proud to be in command of such a force, and she hoped they would win.
This was forming up to be a HUGE dogfight.

The F-14D's streaked in, wings sweep fully back, trying to keep up with the Dragos going at supersonic cruise. AWACS had already picked up the steatlh F-22s and had called for Eurofighter support, stationed with Islandian forces in China.

The 2 Dragos pilots quickly gained altitude and began to refuel with a DF-2 Supertanker. Each Drago was fully loaded with missiles, 2 AIM-132B ASRAAMs and 6 AIM-120C AMRAAMs. The upgraded AIM-132's were a new variant, designed by the AAF for compatibility with the Drago's turn-and-shoot helmets.

A squadron of EF-2000's was inbound, however they would probably not make it in time for the battle.

At the sea surface 3 Nike class Catamaran Corvettes sped in at over 50 knts. They were the fastest ships in the Navy, having beaten PHM 1 Pegasus hydrofoil boats in all 8 of the time trials.

They are all equipped with the standard Vertical Launch Systems for the Aspide Mk 3 SAM as well as 16 launchers for Harpoon anti-ship missiles. The main deck guns, 2 Oto Breda 76mm Super Rapid-fire Guns were up and ready.

ooc: My forces in this war are Paramilitary, they belong to a non-profit organization known as the Islandian Volunteer Corps. of Agrigento. They were formed after Mallberta tried to conquer China. While the group has questionable ties to the government it is listed as an Independent group that survives based on donations and organization-ran enterprises.

In actuality, however, it receives millions of dollars in Government money and is trained by the AIA (Agrigentian Intelligence Agency).

Despite its status as a Private Army, headed by a charitable organization, it has purchased advanced weaponry, often on the same grade as their counterparts in the Agrigentian Army.

IVCA's Naval fleet is small and consists of the following:

Seve4ral glitering lights all the suddenly jump out of each planes sides. 2 missiles aree divereted and hit thee lights causing a explsion. the other two planes are not so lucky. One is hit in the wing and begins too fall. The crew bails. The other is hit in the fuel tanks and the half empty tanks explode taking out the entire plane instantly.

Tanellos threat receiver went off and he began evasive maneuvers. Putting his Drago into a barrel roll and then turned into the missiles.

"Vampire! On or tail, closing fast!", shouted his RIO.
"I got tone, I'm taking the shot!", replied Tanello.

Facing his enemy he fires 2 of his AMRAAM's at the nearest and sets off his chaff and IR Flares. Due to the Low Radar signaturethe missile shot at him breaks off and detonates in a cloud of his aluminum foil. He continues evasive maneuvers, hoping to break enemy radar locks.

High in the clouds his wingman, Pilot Russo dives straight down into the oncoming Raptors and lets loose his two ASRAAMs and quickly accelerates to Mach 2.5 to escape near death.


Meanwhile the F-14D's TARPs targeted multiple Bandits. Each one fired 2 Phoenix Missiles at their assigned F-22.

OOC: Hate to judge people's RP, but 2 important things:

1. Stealth DOES NOT mean invincible from missiles. believe or not, a F-22 will still be hit by an AMRAAM or even a sidewinder. So will a B-2, if necessary. HOWEVER, the AMRAAM is very easy to fool by ECM. Tip.

2. TARPs are actually used for tactican recon, not targeting at other aircraft.

Also, a tip: the best way to make Phoenix ineffective is to make a quick climb before the missile hits. Phoenixes are used against mainly bombers, not actually agile fighters. Normally, AMRAAM is fine.

"BREAK!" Naomi shouted over the Intercom. All forty Islandian fighters broke immediately. FOr a minute, Naomi was somewhat pissed at the Bonstockians; they deliberately provoked the Japanese, and undoubtedly wanted to see a few of them get shot down, but on another note, a probing action was probably good for the AIr Forces, and the fact taht they reacted so quickly was not a bad thing. Besides, they had a few CSAR units around, and the Sea Dancer class sub Tiano and a pair of anti-aircraft cruisers were somewhere around here.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw several planes, probably at least one F22 and at least another J14 fall to the ocean aflame as the pilots bailed out. That was probably Anh, she thought.

She had no time to spend any more thought on it, as she quickly twisted the stick and fired off some decoys to escape an oncoming AMRAAM. She twisted her head, and with the new turn-and-shoot helmets (courtesy of the Aggies), she got a radar lock on the F22 and fired off several more missiles at the craft.

OOC: Hate to judge people's RP, but 2 important things:

1. Stealth DOES NOT mean invincible from missiles. believe or not, a F-22 will still be hit by an AMRAAM or even a sidewinder. So will a B-2, if necessary.

2. TARPs are actually used for tactican recon, not targeting at other aircraft.

Also, a tip: the best way to make Phoenix ineffective is to make a quick climb before the missile hits. Phoenixes are used against mainly bombers, not actually agile fighters.

Chuan felt the J10 shudder from under him. He had hit one of the Raptors before with one of his AA12s, but now, he was certain that an AMRAAM impacted on his craft.
He swore, and realized that the screen was spattered with oil. THE DUMBASS CHANG! His stupid peasant of a ground crewman had forgotten to plug the leak with the fuel tank during the last scramble! now, hydraulic fluid, oil, and God knew what else was in his face!
As the J10 was sent into a violent spin, Chuan felt his hands close around the ejection handle. He pulled it, and was immediately shot out of the J10, breaking his arm instantly but keeping him alive.
As he landed in the water, he only felt a sense of disappointment at his defeat.

By now, the S37s and J37s were holding their own against the F22s. Being of superior performance and having a bigger advantage in manueverability and dogfighting performance, they were not easy to defeat, even with an advanced fighter like the F22.

Still, two more Su37s fell, but the rest kept dogging each other and the roar of jet engines and missiles reverberated through the morning sky.

More SAMs roared up from the Chang Tsuo and the two nearby Xishan III class medium cruisers, HQ9s, AS9000-Cs, and S-300s (OOC forgot naval variant, sry). By now, Chinese fighters have begun reinforcing the EI fighters, and two mroe KH9 tankers were dispatched. AFter quickly refueling many of the fighters, they quickly disappeared to the background.
Meanwhile, several W34 Islandian AWACS planes arrived with their own fighter escort.

A sputtering Chuan was hoisted out of the water, along with his other downed comrades, several of them Japanese. everyone was given some cookies and some tea, and told to sit back and relax.

Relax?? Chuan thought. With Naomi up there??

FLight Leader Wu, in his own J14, pumped up the techno and sent it on the intercom to all allied units. Everyone Cheered and raised their fists as high as they could in the cramped confines of their cockpits.

In light of the current situation there the information that it found was passed on immediately to the AIA (Agrigentian Intelligence Agency), from where it was given, through certain anyonymous contacts to the IVCA organization.

With the location of the Japannese fleet and its current headings the IVCA fleet prepared for battle, knowing it would have little chance against such a large force, even with its ultra high-speed catamarans.

I am disgusted by the total disregard for civilian loses in this war, and many refuse to realize the fact that these countries are two of the most dense, population wise, in the world, and the collateral damage inflicted by the use of WMD is staggering, and unacceptable.

In the meantime, elements of the First Naval Warfare Group, staging from the Southern islands, were sent to reinforce the intrepid Agrigentians. Also, an entire strike regiment from a strike division based in Guangzhou was equipped with surface attack munitions and sent to the front, escorted by a detachment of J37s.

The Tu22MEs are twenty minutes from engaging Japanese ground targets.
three more Naga class catamaran cruisers and the Emperor Guo carrier battle group is about four minutes out.

Following radar detection of the bombers, SA-10 missiles are bought on line to be guided by AWACs.

Of the original 45 J-12s, only 30 had survived due to the counterattack by the AA-12s, but the reinforcement J-12s and J-10s prevented a complete destruction the ARSNV Zhang Xue Liang's swarm of aircraft.

Returning to the safety of the fleet, the pilots were exhausted and glad to be alive. Under the priorities of the Military Junta, 3 additional carriers and 2 supercarriers had been called back to port in Sino.

You will not have much success invading my country, believe me. Its all mountains and defences, plus almost every nation in my Region would go against an incoming enemy fleet entering into our waters.

Besides if I had such major armies on my borders, I would be more concerned about personal defense. You would not be able to fly refueling planes that far out without being seen and shot down by me and my allies.

The lands we've conquered(both of which border us) are mostly flat steppes, Metropolis Industries has a shore line not unlike Flordia's. Dill Row is land locked. Most of our naval assets are concentrated near the MI shoreline to maintain security, well that and we have the "Northern Defensive Wall" and a rather frigid north...

As of my location The North Manchurian Plains, right above Korea and Beijing, Borders were agreed by _Taiwan, Sino, Me, and Hanren.

The black Presidental limosine pulled infront of the capital building and President de los Santos stepped out into the cold grey October day. Looking up at the sky as he closed up the cream color trench coat he grumbled something about the rain before the secret service pulled him forward and inside of the main enterance to the building. Flanked on his right by the Secretary of Defense, Stephan Braddock, and on his left by Secretary of State Megan Cowan he looked to be in a slightly jovial mood.Stepping off and to the right once they reached one of the main intersections inside of the capital building the trio made their way inside of the Presidental office and began their discussion.

"Meg, give me the rundown, what the hell is going on out there in the pacific?" Megan Cowan had become the Secretary of State after Alfred Weinwright the previous Sec State was elevated to the position of Vice President after the previous VP died of complications from pneumonia. She was definatly more attractive than Weinwright however it was rumored on the hill that she had different tastes and therefor she was a popular target for the extreme conservative right even though President de los Santos himself was a Republican.

"Well Mr. President we're looking at a very large shooting war between two really really nasty ancient rivals. The Sino, and the Japannese. Right now it looks like they're gonna pound each other silly until one side collapses and has to surrender." President de los Santos grimaced at the thought and raised a hand up to halt Megan before she could say anymore.

"Lets just get this theory out in the open if someone hasnt already expressed it. Whichever side losses this upcoming war is gonna see themselves get smacked around rather viciously by the winner. Reading reports like I have the Sino have already gone out of their way to attack civilian shipping traffic. Its only gonna get worse from there."

The Secretary of Defense held several folders under his right arm and moved to speak up after President de los Santos let that realization sink in."It might be possible to mediate a ceasefire between the Sino and the Japannese. Right now things arent to bad. If we can get them to agree to a ceasefire, then there might still be hope to avert a possible genocide. The four Nimitz class Carriers of the 2nd and 7th Battlegroups began to transit out of the massive naval base and into the open sea followed by their long lines of escorting surface ships,supply vessels, command and control ships, and even submarines below the surface. At Atlantic City Marine Facility troops of the 5th Marine Expeditionary Unit comprising of 25,000 troops were in the process of moblization and deployment to various pre-vessel deployment areas.

The Armed Republic of Sino has managed to intercept only 40 of the Tomahawks, using our own cruise missiles, highly concentrated AAA blankets and by means of EW. The anger of the Chinese people burns with the same intensity as our oil fires. In a joint development effort between the ARSN and ARSA, the Ministry of Information has announced today that the supercarriers upgraded have been fitted with our ageing DF-31 ICBMs and DF-15 SRBMs. Their enlarged hangars will now house such weapons aboard and when the need for use arises, they will be brought to the surface of the flight deck. The lone TSUNAMIS attack SSN slid into Tokyo bay. It spotted a true prize... a lone carrier.

Most of the companies are going to the bases staffed by the 4th Lawrance Brigade. Similar movements have been seen by the 2nd Hempsire Division from Fort Pillard near Canbom

The Parliment has issued statements of concern that we may not be able to fend off an attack. The military has no navy or air force and only an army of about 55000. They parliment has therefore ordered PM Bouchard to try to get assurances from the various nations involved in this war that they will not attack the country.

In response, PM Bouchard has ordered the Minister of State and Diplomacy John Tompkins to visit the nations that are intangled in this incident to try to get such assurances. The ALCMs are undetected for several hours until they reach the coast. Four of the ALCMs are shot down, but one hits the dam, causing severe and irreparable structural damage. All people living within the flood zone are evacuated. 45 people were killed by th explosion.

In response to this treacherous action, a pair of Japannese F-16s have shot down a 747 airliner from Sino Airways. All are presumed to be dead, as local civilians who tried to help the Sinoese scum ashore were shot.

There were even rumors of Japanese defectors; while Forces Command dismissed the rumors as untrue, Lu knew better; two Typhoon class destroyers had already defected, the Clouds of War and the Sails of Fire, one commanded by his friend, Captain Sakura Yumi.
Still, Lu had standing orders to sink them if they were found. He hoped it would not come to that.

A large salvo of HQ9, HQ7, and FT2000 (naval version) SAMs issued forth from the Islandian ships, heading towards the Japanese fighters. CIWSes traversed, and radars locked on and fired.

In the end, about seven SLAMMERs got thru; two cruisers were damaged, and one Typhoon class destroyer was sunk, but for the most part, the crew managed to leave (it is easy to abandon, being a Catamaran ship), and two Xishan cruisers were moderately damaged.

A six year veteran of the Islandian Navy, she made her mark in the Islandian Wars, as most others of her generation did, fighting the rogue West Islandians who destroyed so much and gained so much afterthey were free of their former overlords. she had seen ships burned, sunk, torn apart-all the manner of destruction around her.
And she had not flinched. But the thought of her fighting against her own people, the Japanese, was mroe than she and the rest of her crew could bear.
So they defected.
And now, as they picked up the signature of a Sea Dancer class submarine on sonar, one of theirs, she shuddered at the thought of having to turn on her fellow Islandians.

Reports indicate that high level ministry members have tried to contact Japann without any progress. The Minister of State and Diplomacy John Tompkins is stuck on Midway Island with no way to get to Japann due to the current attacks. Prime Minister Louis Bouchard has tried to telegram Japann to inform them that Minister Tompkins would like to speak to them but has not received a reply

The Prime Ministers office has informed Minister Tompkins that he should return if events escalate to the point where he is in danger, the minister should return to the country at once. Minister Tompkins is reported to have said "I must finish this mission, even if it means my life."

Meanwhile, troop movements have been completed to the shoreline bases. Defence exercises have begun just in case troops from aggressive nations try to enter the country. Defence and Military Minister Greg Lynch has informed the reporter that the current military status is Green - Standby Alert.

Most of the missiles head for the countermeasures, but seven of his friends in a different squadron is blown apart. It looks like he succesfully ejected, but the red colour in the water looked suspicious.
"Drop the rest of your Harpoons." he instructs the arriving squadrons. "Strength in numbers."

The other squadrons that have entered SLAMMER range (about 48 aircraft) drop their entire loads of 4 SLAMMERs each (around 180 total?).

The Bonstocknian F 18s over Japann dive down immediatly at the sight of Patriots. One of the planes gets damaged severly by one, and is forced to return home under escort. Another plane takes a direct hit. It is not certain wheter or not the pilot ejected, but the plane disintigrated. The five remaing planes flew down low, drawing some small arms fire. They turned for the rest of the dogfight.

Meanwhile, the Visby corvettes below scurried to salvage downed fighters. Two J 12s and 3 F 22s were picked up, and five of the corvettes left for Taiwan. All crew members had either ejected somewhere esle or were dead in their cockpit. Those dead in the cockpit were buried at sea.

The remaining 26 Visby corvettes decided on one thing. They would fire their RBS 15 missiles all at once, to destroy ships in Tokyo bay. Then they would stand off, leaving the combat zone until reinforcements came. Meanwhile, intelligence in Taiwan intercepted a transmission from Bonstock proper, where a rebel government had taken power:

The remains of the second C-130 have been mostly salvaged from the island where the aircraft crashed. The right wing from the J-10 is 85% recoverable, the left wing is 45% recoverable. The remains of the aircraft are currently sitting in a hanger in Ramenskoye Armed Forces Base. Scientists and engineers are trying to rebuild the aircraft, with some apparent success. More news to come.

Honestly, to try and say that the Nazis and Chinese had any form of fondness for each other is incorrect. It would be counter-productive for the Nazi's to support the Chinese with anything more than a few minor weapon sales, as they would be helping the enemy of their ally, Japan.

Using indigenously manufactured parts the J-10 has reached 90%completion. We are expecting taxi trials in a week. Despite the efforts of some nations we will see what we may have to fight against in the coming years.

In the clouds above the East China Sea, two DF2s, acquired from the Agrigentians, dropped to twenty thousand feet. they targeted the Visby corvette below, and launched forty air to surface attack missiles. The missiles and bombers were not affiliated with the EI government or the Agrigentians; in fact, they bore the markings of the Trade Unionists, a nation that was not known to favor either side.

In any case, the CSAR teams had combed over every piece of wreckage. They had tossed grenades and specially configured satchel charges onto the wreckages and made sure that nothing survived, even machine gunning the damned things.

Now, Sails of Fire was in (Insert major harbor of Japan here), facing down (insert Japanese ships here), who apparently thought they were hostile. Or knew that they were defectors.

Yumi didnt know, but she hoped they would treat them better than they treated the other prisoners.

The Anshu is capable of load limits of 60 G in its terminal phase thanks to its aerodynamic pilot, in addition to which there are impulses from lateral jets at the center of gravity, making last-minute corrections of trajectory possible at the moment of interception. That capability makes the Aster unique in the world.
In the first flight test, an An-Shu successfully intercepted a sea-skimming target in a very high electronic countermeasures environment. The Anshu scored what the French immediately called a "Hit-to-Kiss," something seen only on one other missile before, the Aster 15/30. The intercept occurred at a distance of 35km from the launch point at an altitude of 11,000 meters. The target, a very expensive target drone with the simulated manueverability of an F22 was flying at Mach 0.84 (900 km/h) and the Anshu intercepted the target head-on and from above at Mach 2.68. The recorded miss-distance was less than 2 meters.

First tests occured before the Islandian Wars, nearly eight years ago; the ANshus were rushed into service, and have been updated every two years since.

Xiaguo's troops on Hokkaido are "MOABed" by escorted C-130s several times, hopefully destroying them all.

Near Red tide, a fleet of 12 submarines creeps to within 150km of the coast and laucnhes it's load of Tomahawks at government buildings, pwoerplants, the Red-Tide Stock Exchange, airbases, barracks and Oil facilities throught the country. Around 120 tomahawks are launched.

With their guns trained on the Sails of fire, the cruiser HMS replies via morse code. "We are sending Frogmen to board your ship. Please dock at the third slot availible. Colonel Yokana will be their shortly to meet you."

IC:Althjough 50 are downed by protectivee gattling guns the tomahawks hit targets... the main palace and stock exchange would have been hit... if it wasnt on the other side of the Isle. The damage report was:

Yumi sighed and sat down. SHe ordered her men to give the frogmen food and drink, and give them a good welcome.

Johnny Xiang knew it was a problem from the minute he boarded the ship. Sakura Yumi had a long history of running against her commanding officers, most of whom were Chinese, and that coupled with her intense Japanese nationalism and undoubted ties to Japanese intelligence agencies, that made her a target.
Johnny Xiang was an assassin with the Ministry of Intelligence's Actions Directorate, a shadowy body that was little known to many Islandians.
Still, he should have killed her right before they slipped into the harbor; but he didnt have time. GIven the circumstances, he had to remain at his station, or else he would have been under suspicion for leaving his station int he heat of battle.
Pu Cheng's arrival was not coincidental; the sub was under orders from Command to a) pick up Xiang after he had killed the captain, or b) sink the ship if Xiang failed his mission.
But even they had failed their mission, and the bomb that Xiang planted had not gone off. Nor had the numerous devices that he had rigged in the weapons rooms, devices that would have ensured a "misfire" should they have tried to use their weapons.
Someone was onto him, and they were gaining, fast.

6 Auroa long range tactical bombers, pride of the Red Tide airforce, took off from the Nova airbase. They flew pretty slow... for the Aurora at least. As soon as they entered radar range of the enemy ships they kicked in their after burners and thrusters and sped up to mach 6. Faster than any AAM or SAM. As soon as they were spotted on radar they were already over head the fleet. They all released their singal anti-ship bombs(1 bomb per aircraft) and sped back towards home. The fleet never knew what hit them.

The six DF2 bombers lifted off from an airfield near Harbin. Newly acquired from Agrigento, they were the pride of the EI air force's bomber component, and no one else in the world, other than the Aggies and the Trade Unionists were known to have the planes.
Accompanied by more J34s configured to act in a Wild Weasel mode, the DF2s flitted through the sky, while their comrades flew below them. Several J37s vectored in, and soon, EH9s and five H9s from the Independent Strike Regiment were there.
The force headed for Osaka, not knowing that Lieutenant Chiyamaki had betrayed them.

Lieutenant Bo watched as the doors on the stealth aircraft slid open, showing the looming darkness that was the Japanese island of Honshu underneath. Seeing that the Air defence network of the Japanese Home Islands were focused on the battle btwn EI, AG, and Japanese aircraft, the Joint SpecialOperations Command had sent in the two specially modified transports to drop three twelve man teams and their equipment into central Honshu.
Most of the men were from Echo Detachment Z-One Fourteen, and the rest were from Zero Teams Four-Nineteen and Six-Three-Zero. All of them had seen combat before, and all had been trained by the legendary Colonel Tang, possibly the most dishonest and decieving man in the Islandian Integrated Forces Command. Or all of the Pacific, for that matter.
Still, Tang was not here to guide them this time; instead, they had to settle for Major Au, who was the first person to pass all of Tang's exams and the one who had the highest success ratio leading missions behind enemy lines in the entire Islandian JSOC.
Major Au, of course, was a woman.

The men took their positions at the ramp, and watched as it was lowered. The jumpmaster checked the conditions, and satisfied that they were safe, yelled for the operatives to go over the intercom.

Thirty six of the best East Islandian special forces operatives and roughly twenty kilograms of their equipment dropped into central Honshu.

The three Eurofighters came speeding through the atmosphere well above mach 2. Soon they would be within range of the Japannese mainland.

Smoothly each plane dropped its 2 ALARM's. The 6 ALARM's began to loiter over the target area. They each acquired a target, commited its location to digital memory and changed course toward it. With two missiles to a Radar emitter they reached the sound barrier and continued to accelerate. Little would stop these high speed smart bombs.

With the ALARM's on the way the Eurofighters continued a short distance and fired their Storm Shadow CASOM's at enemy military targets. A total of Six missiles, each assigned to enemy aircraft shelters.

The torturer takes a metal scalpel and heads back to the cell. The defences at Osaka had been alerted, but not reinforced. There was only two squadrons of 24 F-22Js there on patrol with AWACs support.

All six hangars in the Tokyo region were hit, with the two unarmoured hangars completely obliterated and their holds of 6 JSFs each wiped out. The other four suffered varying degrees of damage, with around 10 aircraft in unusable condition.

AWACs and a nearby squadron of 12 F-22Js have already detected the strike force. It would be a matter of if they could reach it in time to prevent further damage.

The 3 Eurofighters quickly changed course and increased speed to Mach 1.8, dropping their empty fuel tanks.

On board the Tedesco, a Catamaran UAV Carrier, several Mascherina UAVs were being launched, specially modified from their original form. The Aircraft-shaped Mascherine (plural for Mascherina in Italian) were quickly airborne and gaining altitude. Running on autopilot, the UAVs climbed to thirty thousand feet and cruised toward the Japanese Mainland at six hundred knots indicated air speed.

The UAV's met up with three Orion-EC stand-off jamming aircraft and continued on their flightpath towards enemy territory. They would stay just 5 miles behind the Mascherine. It would not be easy for the Japannese Radar to burn through their powerful jammers, and in any case, the enemy air defenders and pilots would soon have many targets to concern them.

The UAV's continued on, straight and level. They carried their own electronic equipment, which would be triggered automatically by sensors in their tail fins. When they entered the oretcial arc of Japan's radar range, transpoders in their noses clicked on. The Mascherine now looked, on radar screens and missile giudance systems, as B-1b bombers, which of course the enemy would assume are carrying deadly air-to-ground munitions.

ARSAF EW units have again hacked and caused powercuts, this time it is in the cities of Chiba, Sapporo, Nagoya, Tokyo and Sakai.

The ARSA's own EW hackers have forced 3 Japannese spy satellites to deviate from course and re-enter the atmosphere. Currently, they are believed to have crashed somewhere in southern Japann.

The government would be cut off from supples, and all resistance in Bonstock proper would collapse do to this one weapon carried by these trucks...

IC:Althjough 50 are downed by protectivee gattling guns the tomahawks hit targets... the main palace and stock exchange would have been hit... if it wasnt on the other side of the Isle. The damage report was:

Fortunaatly no nuclear power plants(which are the mahjor source of power in Red Tide) had been hit. The enviermental ctastrophe for Red Tide and politicial catastrophy it could have been foor Japann had one of the nuclear powerplants ben hit, had been divereted.

OOC: Is there any IC way in which to find out? I suppose a biological test facilitiy would be kept secret.

6 Auroa long range tactical bombers, pride of the Red Tide airforce, took off from the Nova airbase. They flew pretty slow... for the Aurora at least. As soon as they entered radar range of the enemy ships they kicked in their after burners and thrusters and sped up to mach 6. Faster than any AAM or SAM. As soon as they were spotted on radar they were already over head the fleet. They all released their singal anti-ship bombs(1 bomb per aircraft) and sped back towards home. The fleet never knew what hit them.

One carrier is hit on the deck and is unable to launch CTOL aircraft, which means the JSFs will have to take off vertically and carry less load. Most the other bombs miss, although one destroyer reported minor damage.

OOC: It is better to use a slower aircraft to drop bombs, they'll be more accurate.

The radar screen was flashing tens of F22s. They were outnumbered seven to one, but still, the J37 could beat F22s in dogfights, so they were set.. for now.
STill, six squadrons of J37s and two squadrons of Su37s were witht he Aggies, drawing out and defeating the F22s over water. Xu Squadron was inbound, but they had no other fighter cover.
"Just hit the target!" Chu shouted.
The strike formation quickly dropped to attack altitude and hit their afterburners, hard. The ECM planes detached for strikes on the japanese AA positions, dropping loads upon loads of advanced antiradar munitions upon them.

In recent news, the Islandian Strategic Corps has been ordered to upgrade its readiness level to full Wartime alert, meaning that the Japanese Home Islands are a big candidate for nuclear attack. While many Islandians are of Japanese descent, we will not hesitate to bomb Japan into oblivion.
Missile defense units of the Domestic Defense Commission have been readied, alongside regular troops from the EI forces. They have deployed the Anshu SAM, capable of intercepting cruise missiles and ballistic missiles, and several Theater High Altitude Air Defense systems, S300 SAMs, and FT2000 systems.
Also, the SEcond Independent Strike Regiment have been placed on alert, and all Islandian strike units are searching for Japanese ballistic missile locations.

Meanwhile, riots persist outside the Politburo.

The Sea Dancer class submarine Belle Nuit and its sister ship, the Niao-yu (Fierce Creature) cruised through the silent waters.

Nine Type 80 wire guided torpedoes blew out of the torpedo tubes on the Belle Nuit, headed straight for the ships. One of them blew into the Islandian defector, and the others into the Japanese escorts, but at this range, it was impossible to see if the ships were damaged beyond the point of salvation. In any case, they were knocked out cold.

Threat receivers lit up, the enemy missiles were first picked by allied Radar and would soon be in the oretcial arc of ours.

Rapid Response Teams were sent out to each major city, from the nearest military bases, and most commonly using THAAD and LAV-AD. However they were the last line, the only defense if all else failed.

It would be the first attack on thr Agrigentian Mainland, aside from Terrorist actions, in the last 2 decades.

Finally, the much coveted Iron Canopy Air defense system would be put to the the test.

First into flight were Serena Notte EMP AMM's. They detonated within meters of the enemy missiles and took several down, completely crashing the missile's guidance systems, arming devices and engine systems. They crashed harmlessly into the ocean.

Another Volley of the EMP AMM's was launched, but followed by over a hundred Aster-30's. The Aster represents the pinnacle of SAM technology, and 95% of them scored hits. All that remained on Agrigentian Radar Screens were 3 missiles, 1 of which was heading towards the northern City of Murano, and 2 of which were heading toward Varisca, on the island of Saldenia.

To challenge them, sat the entire First Fleet and La Guardia Costiera. The enemy missiles would prove little trouble to the numerous AEGIS cruisers, destroyers and Catamarran Corvettes. Not to mention the stationary SAM's already in place and the mobile one's recently setup.

In direct retaliation for the attempted attack upon the Agrigentian Mainland the Second Fleet, which has remained in position near Japan has decided to bring its tremendous arsenal of Cruise Missiles to bear on targets inside Japan.

In total, 2,700 Tomahawk Cruise missiles are launched from the fleet, (Arsenal Ships can launch upto 500 each, and Marine Support Craft have 250 each, and I didn't even use half of the Cruisers, Destroyers and Corvettes I have with them.).

Only one sea skimming missile has gotten through, and it has impacted at Dragon's Tooth Bay, an uninhabited area. ANother sea skimming missile was also diverted to the Bay, and as such, the area is being decontaminated right now.

The two Zhou class submarines and the lone Typhoon class submarines have begun bombardment of Honshu and Hokkaido.

Several major cities in Japan have taken heavy damage to industry, with massive civilian casualties. Airfield in general were very well guarded, with monor damage reported. Firefighters are working around the clock to put out the fires. Patriotic fevour has surged once again, with many civilians signing up to join the military and donating financial support to the war effort.

Following the enormour show of force by the Agrigento fleet, the 6th and 7th naval battlegroups in the North of Japan have mobiliised and begun heading towards Tokyo bay.

Depth charges are launched at the East Islandian submarine to destroy it.

Xiaguo moves capital from Taipeng to Donghing, about 200miles north.

Ships have returned safely to Hanhai Harbour and being repaired. Xiaguo's heavy artillary ships are sent from _Taiwan to save the fleet of Hanhai near Sino from being caved in.

Hanhai raises the flag at the Hidaka Range south of Hokkaido after sucessfully capturing it. Xiaguo's bases now have almost finish building missile ranges.

Hokkaido is nowcaptured and in possession by Xiaguo.
