OOC: Let's have the Jedi vs Jedi lightsaber battle now. Please with ice cream and a cherry on top?

I don't think so! Luke sensed the Lambda trying to get away and attacks it with his lasers. Meanwhile, all the ships in the reinforcing fleet (2 ISD, 1 VSD, 3 Mon Cal, the Interdictor with missiles), except for the Jedi, attack the Nightstalker with all the weapons at their disposal (turbolasers, ion cannons, missiles and torpedoes). The reinforcing frigates attack the Shadowfighters with help from the Jedi.

capital ships dont have Proton Torpedoes

Actually, the MC-80 (which are the ships we are using) do have proton torp launchers, 4 on each side. Probably a couple concussion missile launcher too. All battleship-sized capships in Star Wars have both kinds of tubes, it's just that the turbolasers are used much more often.

the Lambda recives shield damage, about 60% of it's shields are down, but it manages to exit the atmosphere and get into space

"Continue firing! We almost got them!" Booster roared, looking at the downed shields onscreen. "Finish the Destroyer off!"

The capships recieved damage from the intensifying firepower, but the fighters get through, and strike the now unprotected engines. All five capital ships and the smaller escort frigates now fire their last volley of missiles and torpedoes, and increase their own turbolaser firepower.

Luke and his two apprentices fire again, this time hoping to force the Lambda down for the final duel against the dark Jedi.

Meanwhile in the Bilbringi System the Imperial Star Fleet continued to assemble

on the SSD Ironfist

"My lord,Probe Droids ready for launch"said Admiral Piett

"Good,Launch them for Mon Calamari..we need all the information on the system we can get"said Darth Vader

"Yes,My lord..those rebels will not stand a chance"said Admiral Piett

Minutes later 30 Probe Droids launch...and seconds later 2 Star Destroyers jump from hyperspace into the area to join the ever growing Imperial Fleet

The Emperor on the Death Star III looks at the cloud of Imperial Ships at various models of TIEs flying around the area

"The end of the New Republic is near...I have forseen it"said the Emperor.

A small, generic merchant craft jumps out of hyperspace near the giant Imperial fleet, and takes one good look at the fleet. :shock:! is written all over the pilot's face and he jumps back into hyperspace before the Imperials could scramble. Some time later, the craft reaches Coruscant with the news of a giant Imperial fleet, including what looks like a Death Star. The Senate is immediately in an uproar and calls Chief of State Leia Organa Solo about the situation.

She is speaking to a senator. "What? Are you sure. No, I believe we may be the target. It's quite obvious. Yes, send everything we have here! This may be the decisive battle in this war."

She hung up and then called Admiral Ackbar. "Admiral. We have a report of a massive buildup at Bilbringi. Signs point to Mon Calamari, here, as the target. There's even a new Death Star!"
"Oh no! I will contact every fleet we have in the New Republic. Every ship, every fighter will have to be sent here." Ackbar solemnly said. "We'll have to wait for your brother and General Antilles to return, though."
"And that may be a while, because they're still at Yavin."
"Hmph. They better hurry up."

The call went out to all New Republic-held space. Hundreds of different craft were either ordered to Mon Cal, or voloteered to go there. Every capital ship in the fleet was ordered to Mon Cal, and every fighter squadron not engaged in battle (Yavin) was also called up. Soon will truly be the decisive battle in the Galactic Civil War.

OOC: What is the total number of Imperial craft at Bilbringi?

the shuttle strains under the strees, but it manages to get out of range of the Gravitywell and jumps into hyperspace bound for Nar Shadda


Fyyar Calls Skywalker to Yavin VIII to Fight

the nightstalker get's out of range also BARLY and jumps to hyperspace with heavy damage

the remaining shadowfighters start to crash into the Enemy starships for a suicide run, the Tie advances are all destroyed

The NR fighters did their best to shoot down the fighters before they all hit. Many were downed, but some still crashed and caused damage.
The battle casualities:
Mon Cals: 70% and 65% damaged respectively
Errant Venture: 55% damaged
Rainbow: 45% damaged
K'unark'ark: 50% damaged
Fighters: 35% lost
Jedi: 1 killed

The NR now recieved a call to return to Mon Cal for a massive battle to take place. They jump to hyperspace, leaving space debris lying around. Luke and his apprentices follow the directions to the area where Fyyar is hiding. Once they landed in a clearing, they began to search for him.

they see admiral Fyyar looking down at them from a very tall tower


Fyyar:Your efforts are in vain young ones.

he raised his fist and a ball of pure destructive force energy comes out and hits's the bridge that lead's inside his castle.

Fyyar:If Jedi are so smart then figure out how to get to me

he goes inside and laughs loud as he takes his elevator to the bottom level, Sublevel 13 where his Office and Safe are

OOC:NO!!! I missed a battle!!! So did we win though?

"Kinda annoying, isn't he?" Jonris asked, :roll: .
"Yep. Think's he's all powerful just because he throws a ball of destructive energy at a bridge, as if that's the only way in." Brett added.
Luke inwardly snickered. "Now we only have to get through annoying minions and 'terrible' creatures to get to him. But he is pretty powerful, so be careful. Let's try that path."
The path in question just screams "Entrance to Evil Dark Jedi Lair" in big neon signs, but the three Jedi go down anyway. :D

"Now it gets serious." Luke said, and the three Jedi ignite their own lightsabers. Luke's is of course green, Jonris' is blue and Blake's is yellow.

30 Probe Droids jump out of hyperspace at Mon Calamari...taking data reports and pictures of the massive fleet

"Sir, we are coming out of hyperspace in 5 minutes." a bridge officer reported as Wedge entered the K'unark'ark's bridge.
"Very good." Wedge replied.

"Sir, we're comming out of hyperspace." a deck officer reported.
"Good." Wedge said.
As Wedge watched the K'unark'ark come out of hyperspace over Mon Calamari his mouth fell open when he saw the vast numbers of ships in orbit around the planet.

OOC: how many ships are orbiting around Mon Calamari?

OOC: Too many to count, but reports say in the hundreds. The largest are the Lusankya and that new Dauntless anti-SSD ship. The smallest are captured TIEs and souped up private craft. Hey, we need every ship we got to defend Mon Calamari. :P

OOC:just give us the amount of cap ships and say we have 200 smaller support vessels

OOC:They have Light Cortisis armor under their black robes, and trust me, they are exceptionaly good at saber fighting, but not very skilled at using the force to their advantage, the Sariss Clones are better at both, FYYAR is the best of the lot, he's the only 1 who can use a Lightstaff besides Terisa, and he's been draining force energy into himself

OOC: I really need some help on this. I'm guessing about 30 or so Mon Cals, 10-20 captured Star Destroyers of various types, 40 frigates, 20 Lancers and squadron after squadron of fighters. Just about all the ships ever built in the entire New Republic Fleet and a sizeble number of each, too. Not to mention a rather large number of volunteers. It's all or nothing on both sides, I guess.

Gork Slices the rock into 2 peices and Pic just uses the wall he was thrown at to his advantage, he starts to climb it and he drops right on top of Blake and starts to use his saber to try to hack off his arm

after dealing with the rock Gork Swings his saber extreamly hard against Luke's

OOC:Gork is Mute so pic does the talking, you may find it hard to believe but they ARE brothers. :D

Blake blocked the lightsaber, and aimed at Pic's head. Luke ducked and rolled in time, and came up behind the big guy and aimed for the midsection.

You guys are thinking too small. This would be much more interesting set 25 years later when the Empire is small and the New Republic is half destroyed by the Yuzhaan'Vong.

Gork senses it and he turns quickly and slices low to try and take lukes leg's off

Pic just jump's off the guy and starts to do hit and fade tatics, he strikes then uses a mindtrick to cloakhimself to prepare for another strike

Luke blocks the attack, but it was tough. Then he jumps back and makes quick jabs with his saber.
Jonris, sensing that Pic is trying to cheat, throws small rocks at Pic, to distract him while Blake counters the mind tricks and aims low.

pic sorta dances out of the way due to his size and speed, he runs up to luke and jabs his Lightsaber into his leg while Gork blocks Lukes Saber


out of the elvevator another Sariss Clone walks out, she is the age of about 20 years of age.

she stares at the battle and draw's her Pure white saber out

Luke very quickly deflects the attack, then Blake attacks the little guy. Jonris now has to deal with the girl (here comes the boy fights girl jokes!).

the Sariss clone activates her saber and strikes hard and quickly onto Jonris's saber


Pic realizes that he is in a bad position quickly moves out of the way of lukes saber, Gork strikes at Blake as hard as he can (Which is REALLY hard) and uses the force to make a ball of destruction like Fyyar did on the bridge

The cave collaped, but the Jedi made it past that obstacle. Now Luke felt a powerful sensation, the dark side is pulsating in Fyyar, almost as much as the Emperor did. If it weren't for the Jedi, Fyyar would be a contender for the throne of Emperor.

Fyyar in his safe continues to drain Force power into himself from the staff,every second he feels more powerful, once done he awaits the jedi at the foot of his craft

"And it's going to take all three of us to do it." Blake said.

My master,The Eclipse SSD is 94% complete...we're just doing shield test and stocking ship supplys"said the Imperial Engineer

"Excellent..Prepare my shuttle..the Eclipse shall be my flagship"the Emperor said

The Emperor then sends a holonet message to all Imperial Admirals

Fyyar retracts the landing Ramp and prepares for liftoff, his Apprentice Terisa stands guard in the throne room on the DSIII


Fyyar launches the shuttle and set's course for the Death Star, masking his Jump by a series of Hyperspace jumps leading in different area's, the first jump is to Kejim, the second Kessel, then the finial 1 to the Death Star


Fyyar( Force ): good bye Jedi, and if you want the Data tapes i hope your good at fixing it, beacuse it's in 5 peices.

he inputs a set of codes to the Computer that is interfaced with the Yavin Base and sends a code he hoped he would never use, the self-Destruct. it shall wipe all traces of the base in 3 minutes

Fyyar:Good bye Jedi.

"Hey, do you realize your master just left you guys here to die?" Jonris asked the dark Jedi, while Blake grabbed the pieces with his TK. "What kind of a leader will leave his 'trusted subordinates' on a base set to go off in three minutes? If you thought he was gonna promote you after you kill us, you're dead wrong. Now you have a choice. You can help us out of here, or you can fight us and never again live to seek justice for the guy who thinks you're nerfherders."
(He saw a timer begin when they arrived at the hangar bay)
Luke was quite suprised at the strength of this boy. He will truly become a great Master someday, if they survive this.

Sariss:we knew, we die for our master "Jedi" weakling, you shall never leave this mountian alive

they activate their Lightsabers and move foward for the kill

2:55 remaining.

The three Jedi took up defensive stances and sought escape routes. Luke used his speed and Force abilities against Gork, Jonris handled the girl and Blake defended against Pic and the other dark Jedi.

Sariss strikes at Jonris with Force Drain (it Drains Force Energy) and stikes with her Lightsaber


Gork keeps swinging his saber and Pic joins Gork to counter Luke

Jonris found it harder to keep up as his Force power is drained (I dunno how that really happens, since I don't play the JK games). But he still fights as hard as he can.
Blake hops back, forcing Maw to overswing, and the boy is quick to take advantage and attack the back and neck of the dark Jedi (I hope he doesn't have heavy cortosis on him).

Joris manages to block the blow, but only just. As the dark Jedi flees, he struggles to regain his Force ability. Blake fights against Fyyar's clone, and Luke helps him out.

the Clone decides to get on higher ground, he jumps up to a catwalk above him and he uses the force to throw all the objects movable at his enemies, the original Fyyar has Drained power into this clone as well as himself.

"Artoo! Start the engines!" Luke shouted, as they broke into the clearing. Artoo whistled affirmatively, and Luke's X-wing roared to life. The other droids likewise did so. The Jedi fairly jumped into the cockpits, closed the doors, and roared off with only ten seconds to spare. 10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1!
A massive explosion could be seen, and flattened trees for dozens of miles around the base.
"Whew! That was close!" Jonris said.
"No kidding! Hey, what's that?" Blake asked.
"Hmm. Looks like the enemy escaped after all. Form up on me. We're taking him down." Luke ordered. S-foils in attack position, the Jedi attacked the enemy TIE Shadow.

The Jedi were joined by a trio of E-wings, some of the nine survivors of Wraith Squadron. Messaline twirled his fighter around, firing his laser cannons at the Shadowfighters.

Chimaera's Fury drops from lightspeed as far in to the Yavin 8 gravity well as possible, immediatly surrounded by a smallish rebel fleet it began setting up for broadsides against the enemy ships.

Thrawn - Send message to any of Fyyar's surviving ships........'Sorry We're Late' All shields up, Launch 6 squads of TIE defenders and 4 of Scimitars, Deploy the lancers and get their shields up now!

25 seconds later all required ships have launched and with their full shields up are ready for action.

'Admiral, there is nothing left of the base, it must have been destroyed, and the only allied ship in the area is Fyyar's own fighter, shall i hail him?

Wedge stated.
"Very good Genera, get the fighters readyl." Ackbar applauded.

"And I want this DeathStar within orbit of Mon Calamari as soon as possible"ordered the Emperor

The Eclipse SSD began to move forward firing its turbolasers at the rebel Mon Calamari cruisers while the other SDs did the same

Fyyar: it is a glorious day for the Empire my lord, without the Mon Calamari shipyards they shall be severly weakened. as for the Jedi i am making more Shadow Fighters to counter them.

he cannot help but think of Terisa and what he would do after the war was over, would he destroy her? or make a new Dark Jedi Cult?

Chimaera's Fury drops from lightspeed with the rest of the fleet, within a minute, 6 squadrons of TIE Defenders, including Baron Fel's 181st squadron. All lancers are launched into a defensive formation around the SSD.

Jumping out of Lightspeed right behind the behemoth of a Star Destroyer were 6 Star galleons, each loaded full of the new dark trooper phase twos' fresh from the factories at Bakura. These ships set a course for the death star with a 2 squad TIE Defender escort. A total of 5000 Dark troopers are aboard.

Chimaera's Fury begins to move at half flank speed to maximum effective range of its weapons, to bring them to bear on the enemy

As the Imperial Fleet moved to attack Mon Calamari, a fleet under General Garm Bel Iblis, consisting of the only Dauntless Class Cruiser, seven Mon Calamari Star Cruisers, and four Victory Mark II Star Destroyers was preparing to launch a surprise attack on the Imperials from behind...

In addition, Admiral Drayson commanded three Nebulon-B Class Escort Frigates and five Mon Calamari Star Cruisers were slated to also to attack the Imperials.

OOC: Don't forget my assault plan! Defeat most of the Imps, and the divisions and Jedi can get through.

IC: The Lusankya and other capital ships launched all their fighters, and moved in close, to prevent the DSIII from attacking them without hitting its own forces. The Falcon, Rogue, Wraith and Jedi start shooting down the weaker TIEs.

Fyyar's ships launch over 7 squadrons of Tie Shadow's from the Arc Hammer II alone.

Shadow Leader:Admiral Fyyar this is Shadow leader of squadron 203, we are now escorting the reborn, i am pulling the 300th Tie Shadow Squadron in to help escort.

Fyyar:Very well, take the 20th Tie Shadow Squadron as well.

"All fighter groups, go now!" Wedge ordered over the com unit.
"Order confirmed." All the fighter group leaders said simultaniously.
The Ties that were heading strait for the shipyards were cut off by hundreds of BWings flying out from behinf the shipyards, Green group shot out from behind the moon and trapped the Ties between them and Red group, Gold group was doing their best to keep the swarms of Ties off the ships.
OOC: now would be the perfect time to launch the suprise with the capital ships. :twisted:

OOC: Do you want to do the surprise attack or should I? Oh, and GF, you have control of my assault plan, Jonris, Luke and everyone else once it is 3:30-4:00 Eastern time. I'm heading home then (four hour long ride), and it probably won't be till Monday that I can get back online.

The Jedi Squadron zoomed ahead and attacked the Shadowfighters, scattering them. The weaker ones were easily dispatched by the now veteran Jedi and they then went after the stronger darksiders.

The DeathStar III continued to move closer to Mon Calamari...the ETA for the ship to get into the planets orbit was 20 minutes

Meanwhile the SSD attacked the Mon Calamari cruisers head on..the Lancer Frigates attacked the Rebel Fighters while the TIE Defenders did the same.The ISDIIs attacked the Frigates as well as the smaller rebel capital ships while the Eclipse SSD rammed through 3 Rebel Nebula B-Class Frigates

The Shadow's break off to engage the Jedi, meanwhile the shuttle sdock with the station and let out their Reborn Troops


on the station there is a sound behind a wall, 10 seconds later there is a small explosion and it reveals 6 Reborn Cultists with Lightsabers

OOC: Gosh, I wish Jacen, Jaina and Anakin and their friends are old enough to fight those Reborn! They're only 6 at this time, unless you want me to make 'em grow up and appear somewhere?

300 Squadrons of TIE Defenders began to launch from the Death Star III..they were the most elite pilots of the Imperial Navy..the fighters went straight for the rebel starfighters..3 rebel Starfighters were taken out.Meanwhile on the DeathStar III 300 more squadrons of fighters were preparing to launch

Squadrons and Lancers peeled off to deal with the elite TIEs, and Jedi Squadron takes out a few more Shadows. Squads of Republic troops fire upon the Reborn, hoping to overwhelm them.

On the Death Star III

"Commander,How long until we are in orbit around Mon Calarmi?"the Emperor asked

"17 minutes,My master"answered the Commander

Meanwhile the 50 Squadrons of Shadow TIES began to attack the Rebel Star fighters at full force..taking out 4..the SSD Ironfist concetrated its fire on the Mon Calamari Cruisers...the Eclipse SSD began to fire its ION Cannons and turbolasers at the Lusankya

Luke notices a shadowfighter that seems to be taking the upper hand, and goes after him, firing lasers.
The command center crew (Ackbar's out) hold their hands up in surrender.
Meanwhile, General Bel Iblis' fleet, behind the Imperials, open fire upon the engines of the SDs and SSDs, weakening their shields.
Some frigates make a break for the DS, and starts testing the shields for weaknesses in preparation for the possible boarding.

The countdown clock continued....14 minutes left

The proton torpedoes and missles were stopped by the shields but some managed to get through and damage the super laser a little bit

After watching the MASSIVE explosion marking the end of Lusankya Thrawn was stirred into action. Happy that the DSIII had enough cover, the Chimaera's Fury moved into range and fired all of its high powered weapons into the planetory shield, with all possible weapons firing at the same couple of square klicks of the shield it was taking around 2000 hits a minute. The shield glowed green/blue in colour under the barrage and begin to shrink slowly but surely. Next a barrage of 300 concussion missiles put even more strain on the shield.

OOC: if the shield doesn't collapse soon i will class that as god-modding cuz in the book Rogue Squadron: Wedges Gamble the Lusankya had enough firepower to shoot through the inner Corusant Defence Shield and keep hitting it to keep the gap open while it shot through the OUTER shield aswell. And remember the Chimaera's Fury has more weaponry than the Lusankya

And surely the Corusant shields are more powerful than Mon Calamari Planetary shields

The Eclipse SSD concetrated all fire power on the Rebel Mon Calamari cruisers while its Super Laser recharged.The SSD Ironfist began to fire on the dautless ship while Imperial Lancer Frigates fire on the rebel starfighters taking out 3.The ISDIIs fired on the smaller capital ships

Admiral we are taking heavy fire from all sides, Primary shields are at 80% and falling by average at 10% a minute, all seondary generators are fully operational acting on our fighters and Lancers.

Thrawn - Good, well the Death Star has fired and the planet is doomed, so we can begin our retreat, our job is done. Send a few dozen waves of missiles and torpedoes into that new cruiser the Republic are using, the Dauntless is it?

Its obvious you haven't read the article I gave you...even in the official Vehicles guide I believe publised by Lucasarts states the DeathStar I had shields...perhaps obiwan also turned off the shields when he turned off the tractor beam.

The Eclipse SSD fired its turbolasers and ion cannons at the Mon Calamari cruisers protecting the Dautless Cruiser..one ISDII exploded after taking heavy fire.

OOC: don't post losses of the other side...

OOC: I hope that was one of your own ISDII, Maltose. Just a note, The DSI had shields, but they were only made for capital assaults. There was a few bumps as the snubfighters passed through it. The DSII had tighter shields, and I'm sure that this DSIII had the same shield tightness, but a bit weakened.

IC:
The Jedi pilots continued to fight the Shadows, blowing them away one by one. Luke went after the taunting shadow, and hit his shields with lasers. The death of the Lusankya was a blow to the Republic, but the fleet fought on. The 7 ships that protected the planet were blown to atoms, with the last, a Mon Cal, taking serious damage, and had to be evacuated, then aimed for the nearby Iron Fist intending on ramming it.

By the time Chimaera's fury cleared the swarms of rebel ships its main shields had failed, only the bridge and aft shields were still operational after all of the auxiliary generators had overloaded. The main generators were nearly back online but would still take a while to charge.

By accurate count, the shields had been hit by over 300 proton torpedoes and around 50 had hit the hull, breaching hull compartments and obliterating banks of turbolasers and Ion Cannons, many weapons were so overheated that the barrels had to be changed mid battle. Only half of the weapons on the great ship were functioning and even thought aft shields were operational the occasional torpedo slipped through and hit an engine, 3 were offline from hits such as this.

On the bridge Grand Admiral Thrawn looked on as his great ship was taken apart, off the port bow a lancer protector exploded after taking fire from 3 Mon Cal cruisers. Although saddened by the loss Thrawn was proud of the ship. Its shields had withstood fire from the 3 cruisers for nearly 10 minutes straight.

Another bad hit shook the ship from bow to stern. A blackened lump of what was formerly the bow snapped off and began drifting away. Bridge lights dimmed as yet more power was diverted to shields on another part of the ship.

Thrawn - i wish the Emperor would finish this battle soon so we can get out of here, this ship will fall apart soon!

yet another explosion rocked the bride, and bridge shields finally gave way to the barrage.

The ISDIIs Thunder bolt and Entor fired on the rebel lancer frigates

Taking advantage of the weakened Fury, a RSD (to distinguish from the ISD) and several frigates fired at the stricken ship, scoring hits on the hull and then aimed all firepower on the bridge shields. The captain of the doomed Mon Cal ordered all firepower to concentrate on the Fist and then gave a final shout on all NR channels that lifted the spirits of the Republic fleet.
"For Justice, for the Future and for the REPUBLIC!!!" The last words of Captain Shoren Rechto.

OOC: A superlaser can only destroy one vessel or one planet at a time... So I'm going to disregard your post of destroying seven cruisers with one shot...

The pilot of Wraith Nine, Hundro Raspulk, found his E-wing badly damaged, decided to smash into the Chimaera's Fury. Hundro losing control, careened his E-wing into the bridge of the Chimaera's
Fury.

Meanwhile, the rest of Wraith squadron made slashing attacks against the main reactor of the Chimaera's Fury.

The Eclipse SSD positioned itself towards the RSD and fired turbolasers and Ion Cannons at the shield to force it to pull away from the fury

Drayson gaped in amazement as the Mon Calamari Star Cruiser, the Dawn of Light was destroyed. The remaining two Mon Calamari Star Cruisers continued to pound the Eclipse SSD...

The three squadrons sped towards the DS III. Wraith Squadron slid into the trench with Onyx and Obsidian Squadrons covering...

The ISDII Entor joined up with the Eclipse SSD...the Entor began to pound of the Mon Calamari Cruisers while the Eclipse SSD pounded the other

the barrage weakened and collapsed the bridge shield despite all available power, Turbolaser bolts stabbed into the base of the bridge tower, stitching their way up towards the command tower, 6 bolts hit the tower near the bottom but just then the main deflectors came back online, stopping the majority of the bolts dead, but a couple went through before the shields went fully online, one hitting 2 floors below the command deck and one hitting with a glancing blow off the bridge viewport. The re-enforced transparisteel was designed to take a concussion missile and not break, but the power of the turbolaser managed to reduce the strength of the viewport and it began to collapse and fail.

Thrawn, Pelleon and other crewmembers fled from the bridge, the viewport gave just before the turbolift door shut, sucking one hapless officer out to an untimely death. All other bridge crew survived.

With the shields back up, all other power was re-directed back into weapons, and all guns began firing to clear a retreat path.

The fighters moved for the DSIII, hacking their way towards the superlaser.

The Eclipse SSD began to concetrate all firepower on the last of the 3 Mon Calamari Cruisers...The SSD fired Ion Cannons and turbolasers at the Rebel ship

Meanwhile the Deathstar III fired a small micro-blast at a Nebula B-Frigate...an ISD broke in half after a chain reaction blew the entire inside of the ship up

50 Squadron of TIE Defenders and 10 Squadrons of TIE Shadows went in to stop the advancing rebel fighters from reaching the Deathstar's Super Laser

"Darth Vader,My Lord,Rebel Ships entering Deathstar shield"said a TIE Pilot

"Come with me..we shall deal with the rebel scum"Darth Vader said as he turned left and headed for the DeathStar in his TIE Advance X1

Wedge ordered as he gunned his fighter towards the DS fireing his lasers at any Tie that came into his cross hairs.

The Eclipse SSD concetrated its fire on the rebel Mon Calamari...ISDIIs began to fire on the rebel lancer frigates..taking them out.

"Also I want 2 Capital ships to also lend support over there...and I want all power into the forward Deflector shields...activate the Auxillary shields to cover the back"the Admiral said

Wraith Squadron pulled out of the trench and headed for the DS III superlaser, intent upon putting torpedoes into the superlaser to render it inoperative. Meanwhile, Onyx and Obsidian Squadrons began to dogfight with the chasing Imperial fighters.

The Nebulon-B Class Escort Frigate the Proximity, badly damaged, crashed into the Eclipse SSD. Meanwhile, General Garm Bel Iblis's forces had appeared out of hyperspace behind the Imperial fleet. The four Mon Calamari Star Cruisers and three Impstar Duces moved to attack the Imperial Fleet, while the trio of Nebulon-B Class Escort Frigates moved to assist the beleaguered flagship of Admiral Drayson...

"Imps are stationing capital ships around the DS and are wiping out our frigates sir," Wedge reported right before he blew a Tie to pieces.
"Now I want all capital ships in sectors 6,7,and 8 (80)to wipe out their capital ships." Ackbar ordered after getting the message.
"Right away sir!" Tslin Reneval the com officer said as he sent the message.
"Admiral, we need more fighters!" Wedge yelled after blowing yet another fighter to ablivian.
"Yes, I know but we don't know where to get anymore." ackbar replied.
"Put any reserve squadrons frpm anyhwere, form them up around your ship and call them Gray group." Wedge said.
"Alright, we'll try it." Ackbar said.

OOC: the smuggler alliances biggest ship is the Errant Venture and thats only a standard impstar deuce

the aliiance wont have much impact on the battle.

IC: with its renewed shields, the Chimaera's Fury moved back into the thick of the battle, although only 2/3 of its weaponry was working, and fires still burned away valuable life support it was still more than a match for the rebel hotch potch fleet. It moved to broadside the new mon cal cruisers. Over 300 of its starboard weapons belched their azure destructive bolts at the enemy ships, a hailstorm of fire came back at it but was easily handled by the modified shields, now that all generators were online they were all used to give more power to the ships protection.

All squadrons of Scimitars launched, while still in the protective shield power of their mothership they launched their deadly cargo, space bombs.

Around twice the size of a proton torpedo, these were canisters packed to the brim with explosives and with a small ion engine on the tail. After a short engine burst to get speed going the engines shut down. these ballistic bombs were undetectable from sensors because they gave off no heat, visual was the only way to see them coming. Set with a proximity fuse, these bombs would fly ballistically towards an enemy cap ship and activate its motor when in range, driving itself into the ship. Explosions were around 4x as powerful as standard torpedos.

from the 4 squads of scimitars, 94 bombs were launched at various enemy ships before the scimitars moved away to use conventional missiles and proton bombs

The Eclipse SSD began to fire all its Turbolasers at the Mon Calamari Cruisers..meanwhile the ISDII Entor had met its match....it suicided into a Mon Calamari Cruiser

The DeathStar III fired its Super Laser at a Mon Calamari Cruiser

OOC: The ETA would be a very long time, at least seven hours... It took the Imps two days to get from Coruscant to Kothlis...

Thrawn - open a channel to the death star commander, tell him to ask for a retreat order from the Emperor, this battle is going nowhere

Just then a concentrated barrage of missiles breached the dorsal shields, 40 of them hitting in a concentrated area, they slammed into the hull around midships and gouged a massive hole in the hull, shields were re-enforced aoutomatically but the damage was done, atmosphere vented into space and all over the ship power drains randomly spiked systems.

Thrawn - Captian, get this ship out of here, plot a jump to Bakura now!

Pelleon - Yes Admiral, at least the hyperdrive and sublights still work, aswell as shields.

the crippled SSD took off at full flank speed, luckily it was near the edge of the battle still and a few minutes later it jumped to lightspeed, leaving 6 squads on un-defended fighters behins, their only order was to get to the death star

minutes After recovering the fighters..the DeathStar III jumped into hyperspace..its destination being Fondor..Then the other capital ships..which were ISDIIs,VSDIIs,Lancer Frigates and other craft began to jump out of the system..The Eclipse made its way towards the end of the system..where it later jumped

Chimaera's Fury limped into the new Bastion Shipyards on its one remaining sublight engine. All fires had long gone out, but left behind a blackened, battered lump of its former self. From an accurate damage report over 15% of the hull had been blown away, 5 of the 6 Lancer frigates were gone, however the powerful projected shields meant less than one squad of fighters were lost, all survivors had docked with the deathstar and would be picked up from Fondor at a later date.

The Bastion system was a flurry of activity, recently chosen as thrawns planet base of operations, much of the second fleet was there, many star destroyers orbited the planet. New Golan Orbital Defence Platforms were being built to protect the planet, and on the surface preparations were being made for the new Planetery Shield.

Three new shipyards had recently been completed and were churning out many new fighters and capships. Chimaera's Fury came to a halt in far outer orbit and was met by dozens of transports to ship off the wounded to the planet for treatment and many shuttles were leaving the ship full of crewmembers dying for a rest. Repairs would of course take a long time so Thrawn transferred his Flag to the newly commisioned Razor's Kiss, a standard SSD. The accompanying fleet conisted of 5 Impstar Deuces and 5 Impstars.

"Great, just great. We have a slagged planet, and no Death Star pieces to show for it." Jonris fumed. The remaining fleet made a jump to Coruscant, as a new shipyard was being built there. The shipyards were a secret project under General Cracken, who begged and cajoled and did everything he can to get money for the yards. Now that numerous ships were destroyed, it will take a long while before the fleet regained its strength. However, numerous small craft were being churned out by the day, as more fighters and assault craft were needed. A Mon Cal cruiser is having it's keel laid down, and will be completed in a few weeks.

"Yeah. We almost got that superlaser. Next time, we will destroy that thing. If Vader hadn't cut us off, we would have gotten the laser. Sithspit!" Blake cursed. "At least we took out that SSD, the Iron Fist. Now the Empire only has two, and they're heavily damaged. Maybe if we rest up..."

"We might manage to get them..."

"And it would be a defeat for the Imperials! Now, maybe if we could set a trap for that Eclipse...."

The youths ran off to see Wedge and Luke.

After Jonris and Blake entered Wedge's office, where Luke just so happened to be having a discussion on what to do with the DS.
"Well hello Blake, Jonris, please have as seat, what can I do for you?" Wedge asked.
They explained their ideas to Wedge and Luke.
"Well Luke you really have trained them well, not only as warriors I might add." Wedge said after listening carefully to the youths ideas.

"In fact I think I will present them to Admiral Ackbar." Wedge added.

"My Lord,most likely here"Garreth said as he clicked a holographic map of Coruscant on.

"At the Rebel Capital of the galaxy...Coruscant"said Admiral Garreth

Reborn Acrobats are the best at dodging and using the area around him to his advantage, by using the force he can do many flips and cartweels that most reborn arn't able to do.

Ordinary Reborn have little Force ability, but some. and are moderate at lightsaber fighting
