Comm Officer: Captain Pelleon sir, there is a report of a rebel star destroyer in the area carrying jedi.
Captain Pelleon: JEDI! I must report this to the admiral.

*Walks to the back of the bridge to a door marked 'private.' and hits the entry request button*

'Enter Captain', a clam voice said through the intercom, and the door slid open. Pelleon walks into the large, dark room.

*A dark shape slides towards the nervous looking captain and draws an assasins knife*

'Now now Rukh' the voice said calmly. 'Make yourself comfortable captain.'

Pelleon - Yes Admiral - speaking to the faintly visible blue figure, red eyes blazing, his Grand Admirals uniform a startling white.

Thrawn - what is it captain, you look quite flustered, streesed even, maybe you should look at some of my fine art, you may find it relaxing.
Pelleon - we have recieved very important intelligence data of a captured star destroyer in use by the rebels.
Thrawn - Why should this bother me captain?
Pelleon - there are supposedly jedi on this ship

*Thrawn stops twiddling his thumbs, and spins his chair around slowly untill he faces peloeon*

Thrawn - of course, i have had.....experiences with jedi before, but at last we can prove our worth instead of guarding a inefficient and pointless research facility. Captain, is the fleet ready?
Pelleon - ready and at your command sir
Thrawn - good, have us taken to the last known co-ordinates of that ship, and have the Star destroyer Nemesis and the dreadnaughts Blood Lust and Emperors Vengeance accompany us, and finish the shield upgrades by the time we get there.
Pelleon - Yes Admiral

OOC - yes i realise that thrawn is being used in the wrong ere here, but he is my fave character and besides, he was around at the time of the civil war. I just gave him a job protecting the core instead of exploring the unknown regions

Thrawn - a bit sloppy captain, that took us too long, have the head of engineering replaced would you.
Pelleon - Yes Admiral, also we are picking up hyperspace trails from a big ship, possibly the target.
Thrawn - Possibly? We do not go through life going on chances captain, is it a star destroyer or not?!?
Pelleon - All i can say is possibly sir, however it was the only large ship to pass through the sector for a while, so it could quite possibly be the Jedi ship
Thrawn - ok captain, set an intercept course for that ship

Thrawn - deploy the rest of the fleet from borleias, we will find that ship. Set nemesis and Emperor's Vengeance on a different vector to us and tell them not to come back untill they find the ship. Chimiera and Blood Lust will continue along the shipping route to see if we can find the jedi that way. understood?

"Remember, trust in the Force. Let it guide your actions. Let it flow through you." Master Jeric Oflay said.
He is a Correllian, and is currently teaching the newest, and fifth youngest student, Jonris Fimont (my Jedi name). Jonris is an orphan, and was found by Master Oflay, while trying to survive on the streets, a la Oliver Twist. He is currently 15 years old, has black, straight hair and brown eyes. Right now, he is training using his lightsaber, and a remote, and of course he gets stung every so often, since he's blindfolded.
"No. Your movements should not be so choppy, my apprentice." Master Oflay chided softly. "Let it flow. Let it flow. Calm. Clear your mind."
With those calming words, Jonris relaxed himself (OOC:it really does work as a stress reliever; no TK, though), just as the remote darted forward. It fired off several shots, but the boy managed to deflect them all. He then stabbed forward, skewering the remote, and the smoking halves fell to the floor.
"I did it, Master! It-its like nothing i've ever felt before!" Jonris exclaimed, sweat dripping from his face.
Jeric smiled. "You have taken the first step into a larger world, my son. Training is finished for today. Go and refresh yourself."
"Yes, Master."
*sigh* Jeric exhaled. The boy will be a great Jedi, someday. I can forsee it.

OOC: My main character, Jonris, should not die during this search. He may be captured, and/or tortured, but he must not die. and how in the name of the Force did Admiral Ozzel survive Vader's punishment, :P ?

Darth Vader's holograghic image appeared on the holodeck before Yorr. Even though it was only a life-sized hologram, the Dark Lord was still a menecing sight.

Yorr: Greetings my lord, what brings you out of your busy schedule to contact me?

Vader: First, let me compliment you on intercepting and destroying the rebel freighter bound to infiltrate the Fondor construction yards.

Yorr: Thank you sir.

Vader: Therefore, I am reassigning you Grand Admiral Thrawn's fleet, which is currently near the Borleias system. There orders are to track down and neutralize an Imperial Star Destroyer carrying what may be the last of the Jedi.

Yorr: I see, I'll set underway as soon as I have a location fix on the Chimiera.

Vader: Failure, is out of the question... His image fades from view

Yorr: Send a message to Gr. Adm. Thrawn. We need to know where he is and where he wants us.

OOC: If this is before the Battle of Hoth, then Ozzel is not dead, yet.

The Star Destroyer jumped out of hyperspace at the rendzevous point (a day or so from Yavin). Its scanners searched for the Nebulon B Frigate that was promised, and sensed it about several million klicks away.

"Jedi Dreamer calling K'nurk'urk. Respond, please. Repeat this is the Jedi Dreamer calling the K'nurck'urk.

Meanwhile, the Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker arrived on Coruscant (or wherever the NR is residing. We should decide these things at the beginning of the roleplay, not in the middle.) to the summons of his sister, Leia. (OOC: I'll assume that Leia's the President at this time. If she's not, let me know, and I'll change it to councilor (not as high as prez, but still in inner circle.) )
"Leia? What is it?" Luke asked.
"We have recieved word that a number of Jedi have procured a Star Destroyer and is now seeking the Republic for assistance."
Luke was stunned. "Jedi? That-that means that we were not the only ones to survive Vader! If this is true, I can now begin to rebuild the Order, and I won't be alone. We must get them to safety."
"I know. Wedge is already on his way over there. I'll get Han, and send the kids to Adumar with Winter." (I always have J, J and A around)
"Right."

OOC: I actually wanted it after Vader's dead, but a slight AU where Ozzel survives his failure, but still gets the choke as punishment. Or maybe we could just say that they are clones. Vader clone and Ozzel clone. :P

Commander Staven:Tavion has reported that the Cortosis is being loaded and it's on it's way to the Cairn Installation in the Lenico belt.

The Falcon and the X-wing soon lifted off, and rose into the sky. Once out of the gravity well, they made the jump to hyperspace for the rendzevous point. It's a race against time to reach the Jedi before the Empire does...

They took down the shields with a lightning storm, and Intel Directress Isard escaped with the Lusankya with her tail between her legs.

"Then come on board and we'll talk!"
The Falcon and the X-wing flew towards the open hangar. Once in, they powered down and the Heroes of the Rebellion disembarked...

"As you all know we have just escorted back a star destroyer that is crewed by Jedi."Wedge said, all the pilots nodded.
"We are here to help and protect these Jedi's, who are a great asset to our allaince and could turn the tide of this war." More heads nodded.
"The Jedi's need us more now than ever before, but we need them just as much if not more." Wedge said as he got off the podium.
"We will be leaving this system once we have resupplied and refueled." Squeaky added.

Jonris was in a meditative state on his bed, when he felt something...odd. It felt like something is about to happen. Something bad. He had to reach Master Oflay and tell him about this feeling. He got up, reached out for his Master, and then set out for him. He found Jeric speaking with Master Skywalker and Master Behok on the bridge.

"M-masters? I'm sorry to disturb you, but there was something I felt. Something bad's coming."
"Hmm." Luke seemed thoughtful. "I sense it too. I believe the Empire's catching up with us."
"Here? At Mon Calamari? They must be crazy!" a senior officer said.
"No. Not crazy. Determined." Master Behok said. "They'll want to get rid of us, if at all possible."
"Well, we Jedi aren't easy to get rid of. Even Master Yoda, if what you said is true, Luke, almost lasted the Emperor." A slight smile creeped upon Master Oflay's face. "If they want us, they'll have to really work at it."
"True. I want increased patrols around the fleet. Make sure we also have an escape route should things go badly." Master Behok ordered.

Thrawn - captain, Signal the Interdictor binder to jump into the sector and power up its gravity wells, these rebels shall not escape. Send the Nemesis and all 6 Lancers to escort, that is the most useful ship we have, i do not want it destroyed. All fighters launch and get all TIE interceptors to stick close for anti warhead cover. Get the Vic's to launch all fighters and move to flank the rebel fleet, the dreads too

"the Imperials have assembled a fleet and are now fighting Lonestar's fleet, Lonestar is terribly out numbered and will shurrly be destoryed unless we help!" Perla answered franticly.
"Alright, send a transmission for them to get the hell out of there and meet us at Kashyyk!" Iblis yelled franticly.
"We are doing that now." Perla answered.

Thrawn - Ahhh just as i expected, the defender is pumping more power to shields, look, its attacks are weaker because of the power drain. Now to begin my plan, Bring Emperors Wisdom and Malignant into position for Operation Thrawn's pincer and to open fire with spread salvos of concussion missiles and ion cannons

Chimeira and Nemesis continue with Ion cannon fire untill the shields drop, then let the vic's finish up

Admiral Fyyar:I used to be a Excellant Tie Pilot, i am gonna kill some X-wings for what they are doing to the fury, and alert my Personal Wingmen that they should get to their Tie Advances.

Fyyar Get's to the Hanger bay and get's ready to launch with his wing. 7 seconds later they launch

(there are 4 of Fyyar's Tie Advances. these ones have better shielding then the ordinary Tie Advanced).

Ix, the captain of the NB frigate, sent a message over the comm.

"You fought bravely comrades, but the empire will rue this day. We will live in the hope of being rescued my friends"

Jenz, the captain of the Calamani Cruiser, began his message.

"Well, you all fought bra...."

But a shoot from the crippled Fury hit the main reactor, setting off an explosion that made the entire ship explode. The damage raduis encompassed the Fury, it fate is as of yet unknown (ooc: up2 you imps)

Attention loyal imperials, our victory at fondor was tainted by unexpected losses on the part of Fyyar's fleet, and minimal casualties were inflicted on the enemy, this is partly my own fault as the Interdictor Binder did not arrive in time to trap the rebels in the sector.

However, the existence of a large and powerful Rebel fleet at Kashyyk is a threat we cannot ignore. All ships to rendezvous with my fleet at Fondor and to prepare to jump to Kashyyk on my order. As soon as we arrive we must blockade the system, the Interdictors Binder and Grappler are now under my command and are waiting just outside the system, they have a considerable escort so dont worry about them.

As for the battle, keep your fleets in tight formation, Ozzel and Fyyar will flank the enemy fleet, my ships will drive them back towards the planet if possible and Ozzel's and Fyyars ships will move in like a a pincer.

IC: Admiral Andrew Sturgon sat and looked out the observation port at His fleet. This was his first fleet command. He was still young, only 27. But the war made it possible for people his age to advace fast.

He looked as two ships exited hyperspace. the last patrol had returned. Now He would cheek to make sure that all ships had returned.

It was his job to patrol and defend two starsystems. Muunulist and Dantooine. Both systems would serve the rebelion well. The Only problem is that Admiral Sturgon only had one half of the fleet that he needed. He kept sending messages to the main fleet, asking for another MC-80 Heavy, a Assault Frigate, a Corellian Corvett, and a Corellian Gunship.

Of course no one had replyed yet. He also wanted the other ships for the extra fighters. The ones he had would not stand up too long to a full scale Imperial Assalt.

if you have already read the thread you have seen the sort of ships we are using (just no god-moding, because one admiral's fleet isn't that big, 15 big ships or around that at the most)

and yes it is the Victory class, however i suggest you make it a Victory Deuce (mark II) cuz it is faster and has better weapons, shields etc

OOC: Well, to start off ill just give a quick introduction of my character, and after that, to the aid of the empire!

IC: He sat down. The hard chair was freezing cold. He would have to get an attendant to adjust the temprature in the room. His breath was leaving a cloud in the air, like fog in front of his face. The room seemed to reflect his mood. His small fleet was always in a shambles. Always one thing or another wrong with it. Today his flagship, the Taciturnus Perditor, had a small engine fault, and the entire fleet had to be stopped whilst repairs were carried out. That was 4 Victory MKII class star destroyers held up.

He looked about his small room, reflecting that he could easily get much more luxurious quarters than these, and that some of the men under his command had rooms much better than this spartan affair. The room was about 3 metres by 4 metres. It had one small bed with a thin sheet on it, a comm panel located on the wall next to the door, and the one luxury the room had, one that made up for the rest of the room.

A small mahogany desk. The cost to get it had been incredible. Very few people could get it anymore, and even then it was usually a fake. The desk had only 2 drawers, one on each side of its front. He stood up and walked over to it, relishing in the knowledge of what was inside. He bent down and opened one of its drawers, pulling out a small cylindrical object. He then opened the other drawers, this time pulling out a red colored bundle of clothing. He closed both drawers and put both objecs neatly on the desk. He pulled his chair over, sat down, and took the cylinder in his hand. He started concentrating on it, suprised at how hard this was for him, despite how long it had been since he had tried it. As sweat started rolling down his forehead, stinging his eyes, the cylinder started to wobble slightly. He closed his eyes and clenched his teeth, concentrating as much as he could. It started to float upwards, around 5 inches, before dropping back on to his hand. He opened his eyes again. He needed more practice. He could barely even do the basics now.

He knew what would happen if anyone was to ever find out what he was. He would most likely be killed as a traitor to the empire despite his fanatical loyalty and devotion to it. They hated and feared Jedi, knowing what they had done to the emporer. He stood up, the cylinder clenched on his hands, and pressed a small stud on the side of it. Immedeately s thin beam of red light jumped out from the cylinder. He swung the lightsaber round in a small arc a few times before shutting it off again. He bundled it up in the robes and replaced it in one of the drawers. He could never let anyone know about is powers.

Suddenly the comm panel buzzed, indicating an incoming transmission. He walked over to it and pressed a small red button on it. A voice came through it, seeming weak and small due to the terrible state the panel was in. 'Admiral Ferio, we have an incoming transmission from an unknown source, would you please come down to the bridge sir?'
God, he hated the top brass. Always trying to remain secretive. 'Ill be down right away' he grumbled before depressing the button to end the transmission. Why did the bad things always come so quickly together.

Binder, and its escorts, 2 Shockwave class star destroyers Storm and Tornado move into position behind the Chimera battle group, while Grappler with its one Impstar Deuce Invincible and the Shockwave class ship Hurricane move into position behind the Nemesis battle group, gravity wells are powered up.

'You are to go to the battle at once. Your aid is needed as soon as possible Ferio.' The hologram winked out of existance as the transmission ended. So, a battle eh? Well then, he would have to get there quickly. He relayed the message to the navigator, you quickly entered the co-ordinates into the nav comp. He couldnt help but smirk. His little fleet would finally get some field testing. But wether they would do well or not, that was the obvious worry. He didnt want to lose anyone in this conflict, but in a battle anything could happen. It was then that the comms officer interuppted his thoughts.
'Sir, Destiny, Hunter, Conflict and Maelstrom all report readyness to jump Sir , should i give the signal to initiate?'
He didnt know why, but he hesitated on giving the command, but he quickly destroyed any doubts and gave one simple command.

In the blackness of space the 5 ships, his downgraded super star destroyer, and the 4 Victory class MKII star destroyers, seemed to stretch out to over triple their normal length before suddenly disappearing, like an elastic band pulled to its limits suddenly let go, zooming away at incredible speeds. The battle would most likely be little affected by Ferio's fleet, but to quote a well known phrase, 'Every little helps'

In the inky black depths of space, flashes of light appear around the bulks of starships at war. But not too far away, 5 new bulks appear, silent observers to this battle. But only silent for a little while

IC:'Sir, we've completed the jump. Were near the battle Sir. Should i order the ships to comence the attack?'
Yet again, Ferio couldnt help but smirk. He knew how little his fleet was, yet, he had the feeling that somehow his fleet would be useful.
'Give the order. Launch all fighters and put all power to the forward shields. We should be able to come around the right side of the rebel fleet.'
He picked up a small transmitter about this size of his thumb and spoke one command into it, transmitting it to all of the ships.
'Open fire!'
The imperial ships started towards the right side of the rebel fleet, each ship launching its fighters as it went.
Each of them, not including the Flagship, contained 10 squads of squints. That was one of Ferio's prides and joys. His fighters consisted totally of 3 types of ship. TIE fighters and Interceptors from the the Deuce's, and from his flagship....
'Now, launch the TIE Defenders and Gunboats!
Out of his flagship sped 20 squadrons of TIE Defenders

On his ship, Ferio noticed something. He could feel imperials breaking off from the attack before his tactical officer told him. Why were they breaking off in a battle?

"Alright Rouges lets do this." Wedge said as he and the rest of rouge squardon left the hangar.
"Lock s-foils and attack positions, wer'e going in hot." Wedge ordered.
"Remeber we are to lead the rest of the fighters not go off on our own." Wedge said right before the Ties came into range.
"Sir, where are all of the A-Wings?" Corran asked after he blew an eyeball apart.
"Remeber the briefing?" Wedge asked.
"Yeah, what about it." Corran said
"Well then you know the answer." Wedge added before he too got a squint.
"No I.... wait a minute, oh now I get it." Corraqn said after he thought for a second.

The rouges led the other fighter squadrons in a spear head formation, well all except the A-Wing and Y-Wings. The Y-Wings were left defending the capital ships, bad idea yes, but that is why the A-Wings were hiding behind the capital ships. So when the Ties got to the Y-Wings and cpital ships the A-Wings would come out from behind the capital ship and trap the Ties. While the Rouges and the other fighters try to break through the Imp screen and take out their capital ships.

Everything was going a corrding to plan. The Rouges and a couple other squardrons were able to break through and start attacking the SSD's.

The Rogues flew upon the SSDs, spinning and twisting to dodge the deadly turbolaser shots. Backed up by E-wings and B-wings, they launched proton torpedoes and concussion missiles at the bridges, and broke contact to avoid the coming explosion. The Mon Cal cruisers had their hands full with the other ISDs, Lancers and Carracks, and continued fighting off swarms of TIEs with the A-wings using slash and dash tactics.

At the same time, the Dreamer jumped out of hyperspace behind Ferio's fleet, and began to engage the enemy with broadsides, and then bow shots, hoping to hit the engines and disable them. Luke Skywalker led the Jedi pilots and cut a swath into the unsuspecting TIEs, leaving many dead. Then, while dodging turbolaser shots, Luke fired off a couple protons, guided by the Force at Ferio's flagship bridge.

A transmission was sent to the fleet at Dantooine (That's you, ClearWater!) asking for aid at Kashyyk:

Engaging numerous enemy ISDs! Ordering you to Kashyyk to reinforce the Republic fleet there!

Thrawn - Excellent, bring the Judicator group forward, Have our group and the Nemesis group spread out and help Fyyar and Ozzel, Keep the interdictors with us too, we can use their escort to our advantage. Keep fire restricted to Ion cannons for all ships except the Lancers and the Vic's. Have Emperor's Wisdom and Malignant open fire with their concussion missiles on the Calamari Cruisers, the wont be too well defended so assign a lancer to each of them. Any damage yet?
Pelleon - Nothing major sir, Shockwave is having some teething trouble with its sexcondary shield generators. OOH! message just in Admiral, Judicator is in trouble, bridge shields are starting to fail, the Shockwave SD's are too tied up with enemy cruisers to help her.
Thrawn - Dammit, can we reach her from here?
Pelleon - Negative, there is a huge fighter screen forming between us and the Judicator, same situation with the Nemesis group.
Thrawn - Tell Judicator to hail Fyyar, he's pretty close, and he has those new fighters, meybe he can help

'Sir, rebel fighters inbound!'
This was not good. A single squadron of rebels was starting to cut a swathe through the fighters. The Interceptors and fighters were taking the brunt of the damage, with the defenders holding their own and the gunboats obliterating the enemy. For every enemy taken down, 5 TIE's were destroyed. His gunboats were doing the main damage with his elite pilots in the defenders backing them up well. Although this seemed to be a losing battle, attrition would win it for him. There was simply too many of his forces for them to win.
'Comms, transmit an order to the ships. Have the the TIE Bombers start their attack run on the capital ships. Have 5 squadrons of Defenders escort them. Also, get the hangars to prep my V-38. There's no way im going to let these rebels win.'
'At once Sir.'
Ferio walked towards the exit to the bridge and started the lift down to the hangar. The rebels were about to see many of their friends die. Now Ferio just couldnt help but smirk again. This was just like the old days.

As soon as the lift reached the hangar, he spotted his V-38. It was similar in design to the Defenders, but more agile, had shields, and had one thing that would stump the enemy. It had a cloaking device. It was quite easily the most advanced thing in his entire fleet.

He quickly ran over to the fighter, already ready for immedeate take off. As the fighter shot out of the shuttle bay he felt a huge disturbance in the force. His senses were rusty, but even he could fell such a large swelling. It seemed to be coming from the a group of fighters doing the damage to his fighters. He suddenly saw twin fireballs leaving the front of the lead fighters. Proton Torpedoes! They were aimed at the bridge. Dammit! He felt a swelling inside him, something familiar. He seemed to lose sense of time. When he looked around again the torpedoes were heading away from the ship, unfortunately no where near the enemy fighters, but if he was right, they would do the same thing he did if it had reached them. So, his powers were still in action. Hopefully they would provide him some advantage in this battle. The fighter swerved towards a straggler of the fighter group. This was the perfect chance to test his theory. He fired a single laser shot at it. It movement seemed a bit sluggish, but it somehow dodged the shot. So it was true. The fighters were manned by Jedi. This was definitely not good.

"Dreamer, recommend you take out those gunships!" Luke commed the ship.
"We're on it, Luke." Master Behok said. The Star Destroyer fired its heavy and medium turbolasers upon the gunships, downing several. The X-wings and Jedi Starfighters proceeded to blast away the TIE bombers, as the better maneuverability of the snubfighters and the power of the Force showed to deadly effect.

Godammit, what now? Yet another disturbance. But this one.....it was not concentrated. It was more just a large grouping of weak forces, the normal amount for a person, instead of a small quantity of powerful ones, like those Jedi. What the hell could it be?

He looked up in his fighter, and his face lost all traces of color. There was no way that could be there. Another star destroyer. This one far bigger than his downsized one. So, the help had arrived. Wether it would be of any use or not he didn't know. The comm system crackled into life.

After dealing with the bombers, Luke heard the challenge coming from an Imperial fighter. Suddenly, he felt a disturbance in the Force, and noticed that the torpedoes aiming for the enemy Star Destroyer were somehow deflected.
So, we have a dark Jedi running around. Luke noted. "I accept your challenge, Ferio. One on one, we shall duel."
With that, he felt for the dark Jedi and sensed him several klicks away and 'below' him. He dove upon the odd-looking TIE, lasers reaching out to embrace the fighter.
