Our plan is to, first of all, make an attempt to retake Ord Mantell with practically everything we can throw at it without depleting units from other systems. After that, we will recuperate and then take on Bespin. Make no mistake, this will be a long and hard fight, with possibly many losses, but we will not fail. We must not fail. The military crew piled out of the auditorium and Jonris and Blake were together again.
"This is going to be one tough battle." Jonris sighed.
"Yeah, but we can do it, you know. We can win this thing. We don't try to win. We do it." Blake said, bolstering the spirits of his friend.

"We'll see about that. Mara, Let's get in the fighters. I'll aim this shuttle towards the tractor to crash into the beam projector."
"We're cutting it pretty close, Skywalker." Mara warned, but got up and went to the cargo bay, where Luke's X-wing and Mara's Z-95 are waiting.
Luke turned the ship around and aimed for the tractor beam near the bridge. He also set the cargo bay outer door to open in 30 seconds. Once that was done, he rushed to the back and got in his X-wing, Artoo patiently waiting. Once the cargo bay opened, first Mara, then Luke shot out. A few seconds later, the ship crashed into the tractor beam, destroying it, and the two fighters then made a microjump to the outer planets of the system.
"Looks like we lost them." Mara said.
"We did. Now let's go back to Mon Cal. We'll need to take this disc and see what's inside."
They then settled down for a jump back to Mon Cal, and Luke will heal the scars he got from the lightning. They will arrive in a few hours, and then sleep.

"We must not go to Ord Mantell... It is a trap to destroy the Rebellion... General Garm Bel Iblis and Admiral Drayson agree with me on this matter. General Bel Iblis has a message to say..."

General Garm Bel Iblis walks out from the corner and changes the holographic image to that of Biringi...

"As you know, the Empire has a lot of money. Currently that are constructing the first of a new type of Star Destroyer of the Eclipse Class. This new star destroyer is 17.5 kilometers long and will have a miniature death star ray along with over 1000 cannon and over 600 fighters. We should instead of going on a suicidal attack against Ord Mantell should launch a surprise attack against the Empire at Biringi and take or destroy the new Star Destroyer..."

Wedge looks a little startled at the entry of Ackbar and the other generals, but once they get started he comes to under stand.
"Sir, do we have the read outs on the planetary defenses?" Wedge asked.
"Yes, we do." Ackbar replied.
"Would you mind giving a briefing on the new operation?" Wedge asked.
"Not at all" Ackbar said.
He and the Generals walk up to the podium and slide a new dick into the holoprojector.
"I know it may have come as a shock to some but it can't be helped. We got word just now from several operatives that Ord Mantel was secretly reinforced, so that we attack at least 5 Victorary Class Destroyers and at least one ISD II, plus the none garrison would be waiting to ambush us. So in that case we are going to leave the Imps in the dust. But, now for Biringi. We got word from another operative in that system of the plans to build this unbilievably big and powerful ship. This ship could be the tide turn in this war. This is a life and death situation people. We are going to need all of the fire power we can get into this one, we will also be needing commandos to get these plans too. So will any of you please volunteer to house and drop them into the ship fosility? A Drednaught Captain raised her hand. So Commanders get your men ready. And may the force be with you.

OOC: Luke and Mara came home while I was asleep and took a room together, and no they didn't do anything but rest.

"That was fast." Jonris noted.
"Yeah, but orders are orders." Blake said. "Maybe there should be a couple Jedi amongst the commandos?"
"I think Master Olfay and another one already volunteered for that."
"Oh, then we're riding shotgun to keep the TIEs off of them."

"Now I wonder how we're gonna take out that Eclipse?"
"Maybe find an exhaust port and throw a proton torpedo in it?" Jonris joked.
Blake laughed "Nah. Master Skywalker did that once, and I think the Empire might be wise to that trick by now."
"Well, then we just have to find a new trick to defeat it, then."

As soon as the fleet was assembled, they only needed to wait for the signal to jump to hyperspace.

Actually they could,Contruction on the Ecipse started before Endor but I was stopped after the Emperor died...but when all of that would be too overwhelming for the rebels...so forget about the 2 Eclipse Star Destroyers being built....the Death Star is the Empires main focus right now.

OOC: I second the motion, but will allow you keep the Death Star OR the 2 Eclipse ships, not both at the same time.

On Bespin Imperial Troops continued to guard the area while Imperial Engineers continued to mine and transport the Tibanna Gas...Imperial TIE Interceptor Patrols flew over the city almost daily imposing a martial law like status on the citizens that did stay.Meanwhile at the Fondor shipyards construction of the DeathStar III went at a quick pace..this DeathStar was much bigger than the last 2 and more powerful

IC: Grand Admiral Thrawn stepped out of his Lambda class shuttle and onto the deck of the Chimaera's Fury main hangar. The smell of lubricant and paint filled the air, the hanger was full of the scarlet red TIE Defenders of 181st squadron. As the exit ramp closed behind him, Thrawn walked briskly to the turbolift at the end of the hangar and headed for the bridge. 1 and a half minutes later he stepped onto the bright black floor of the bride, Captain Pelleon was waiting for him:

Pelleon - welcome aboard the [Chimaera's Fury[/i] Admiral. We are making final preparations for our suprise return now.
Thrawn - Good, this new ship may change ship combat as we know it, i want everything to work perfectly, take your time captain. Oh yes, and is my chamber finished yet?
Pelleon - Yes Admiral, it has been finished for a while now, i wanted to make sure it was completed before you arrived.
Thrawn - Excellent, well you know where to find me.

Spiining around, Thrawn leaves the bridge for his private chamber. As the door slid open, there lay a huge, dark room, with very dim lights in each corner. A huge table dominated the large room, but it had only 2 chairs. Lining the walls were huge amounts of fine works of art from every corner of the galaxy, paintings, ornaments, antique weapons and sculptures of every kind. the admiral sighed and sat down in the chair at the end of the table, picked up a data pad, and said to himself, 'time to take back what is rightfully ours.'

Tech Abilities of the Chimaera's Fury:

Used to be the Super Star Destroyer Judicator

Fitted with 8 extra hangar bays along its length on the underside, these are 280 metres long and approx 80 metres wide. Each of them hold a lancer class frigate on a magnetic clamp that can be released so the ship can move away, each is protected with a standard grade forcefield.

Multiple shield generators have been fitted to the Chimaera's Fury Adding to its defence, however, some act on other ships like the lancer frigates, which means a 250 metre long Lancer can take the same sort of hits as an ISD. Fighters are also protected by these shields, so they are much tougher too. These shields can only be used when within 350km of the Chimaera's Fury

The lancers themselves have been modified by having their own shield generators removed and have been fitted with larger engines, increasing speed. Also the weapons have been modified so they now have 30 Quad Lasers.

The Chimaera's Fury itself is improved, now with 300 Turboloasers, 300 Heavy turbolasers, 250 Concusson Missile towers, 350 ion Cannons and 50 Tractor beam emplacements.

Also, the ship carries 12 squads of fighters. 8 of TIE defenders and 4 of Scimitar class bombers

OOC: can someone return fire, please? The small Bilbringi fleet is going to be captured very soon, if the Imps are asleep on watch.

The fighters and the Falcon dove upon the incoming TIEs and fought them off, while the larger capships fired away with turbolasers and ion cannons. The Dauntless and Home One fired mostly Ion cannons at the Eclipse class ship, intending to shut it down and capture it. The other Mon Cals and smaller ships took on the ISDs and the VSDs, in order to take them out.

'The fleet has arrived at Bilbringi's shipyards Sir, we can detect no other Imperial ships here apart from the guards here. Should we commence the attack on the rebel fleet?'
'Yes, and call in the Malicious Intent as well, we need as much firepower as we can get here. Also, get my fighter read. I want to be out there as well.'

Ferio started running to the nearest lift to get him to the hangar where his ship awaited.

In the suprisingly black blackness of space, the imperial fleet start firing on the rebels, the fighters attacking the fighters, the VSD's attacking the capital ships, and the SSD blasting anything that it could point a gun at. Oh, and Ferio turning everything of roughly the same size as him into component molecules. Isn't narrating fun?

"Alright every one we have another group of Imps who want to et blasted apart.But this time we will wait for them, they are more prepared and it looks like they have better fighters. So, Pole Arm and Talon get behind the Mon Cals act like you are docking, Defenders you keep the Ties off the Mon Cals, Pole Arm and Talon the Ties will expect to wipe the Defenders out but that is why you will be hiding behind the Mon Cals so once the started attacking the Defenders you will just pop out of nowhere and trap them between your selves. Orion, Obsidian and Onyx you will work together and take out the Ties that come to close to our ships, act like a screen. Rouge and Wraith we will be the advance guard, and if we have a chance we will fly strait for that ISD." Wedge ordered.

Every thing went strait with the plan. The Ties came thundering ou towards the Defenders and started dueling with them, but our of nowhere Talon and Pole Arm came out from their hiding place traping the Ties.

Ferio wheeled his fighter around from the current group of rebels and headed towards the small fighter heading towards the bridge of the Eclipse, activating his cloaking device as he went.

The enemy fighters were dead ahead. They were making a beeline for the bridge of the Eclipse. Well, time to put a stop to that.

'Defender squadrons 8, 12 and 17, attack the enemy from above with all weapons. Ill get close and attack from behind. Good luck. Ferio out'

The fighters were close now. All he had to do was line up a shot with one to take it out. Wait, if he needed time to line up a shot, then it would have to be very little time. The defenders were already starting to come down on the enemy and were about to fire. Not time for sharp aiming, just a few pot shots. He aimed as quickly as he could and started firing at the same time as the 3 defender squadrons started their own attack, blowing a few ships into the hull of the Eclipse, doing no visible damage to it. Then the turbolasers started blasting towards them. Ferio couldnt help but feel sorry for them.

Rouges, Wraiths lets face them, Jedi we could use some help right about now, all other squardons that are free we wouldn't mind some help right about now." Wedge said once he saw what kind of dire situation he was in.

Everyone turned around a started blasting away the Defenders that cam at them. The battle was getting intense and the Rebels were losing bad. But out of nowhere the Jedi squardrons and Pole Arm squadron came up behind the Defenders and completly taking them by surprise and started blasting them away. The Defenders were now trapped between the Alliances best fighters and 1 A-Wing and 2 Jedi squadrons.

Above Fondor the mighty Death Star III began to take its shape...it was much bigger than the last one and also more powerful.Imperial Construction ships and crew worked a quickly manner...working for there Emperor.

Ferio started picking out the Jedi ships for the tubolaser batteries to focus on as the defenders held their own against the rest of the enemy (Remember, the defender squadrons i have are piloted by my best pilots, and the ones picked to attack you would have to be the best of the best due to how important the Eclipse is) The turbo lasers firied in batteries of 9, each battery consisting of a dual turbolaser cannon. It created, as Ferio has put it, a literal wall of laser, making sure the Jedi wouldnt be able to dodge something that large. And once the targets were picked out, all he had to do was start work on the Jedi fighters. Who knew, he might even get that one who beat him earlier.

Uh, lemme see. There's a new death star being built thats larger even than the 2nd one, and an Eclipse class SSD currently under attack by a large rebel fleet led by GF at its shipyards. Im defending the Eclipse, but until i get myself some serious help, the jedi are gonna do some serious damage. We heavily outnumber them, so eventually the amount of shots being fired at them will do some damage.

Turning his head, Messaline spotted Jonris going after what seemed to be a Shadowfighter. Turning his E-wing around, Messaline went after Jonris, to assist him.

Jonris swooped down upon the Shadow fighter, the E-wing coming up from an angle. Together, the two rebel fighters made space dust of the enemy fighter, defeating yet another dark Jedi. Jonris then clicked his com, in thanks to the E-wing pilot and then flew back on an attack run against an unlucky ISD, shooting a proton torpedo that took out the port shield generator.
The Mon Cal cruisers used their shields as a buffer against the wall of turbolasers the Imps created, but a few fighters, including one Jedi, lost their lives to it. The cruisers continued to ion cannon and turbolaser the SDs, destroying one, and heavily damaged several others. The Neb-B and other frigates went after the Lancers, and took them apart one by one, and then went after the VSDs. The Eclipse still was being ion cannoned by the Dauntless and the Home one, as their main target, in order to force it to shut down. The shields weakened bit by bit, until even the fighters can take potshots at the batteries.

Luke and Han torpedoed the shield generators off the Malicious Intent leaving the SSD easy pickings for volleys of bombs and missiles by the assault frigates and Y-wings. Gaping holes were seen in the ship, and those holes were targets for more bombs. It was only a matter of time before that ship would blow apart...

Thats Godmodding...you cant post another persons losses liek you're doing with the SSD.The person controlling the SSD has to post its losses...and also theres the TIE Phantom....it can cloak.

OOC: Did I say it was destroyed? No, I didn't and it's it's not! It's getting there, but it's not yet destroyed. I'm leaving enough room for the SSD's owner to pull out of the battle before it dies, albiet not much. All's fair in love and warfare, as they say.

In the space around Biringi all that is heard are the sounds of the space battle for the Eclipse Star Destroyer when all of a sudden the massive Imperial Death Fleet jumps out of Hyperspace

Imperial TIE Interceptors and TIE Defenders begin to leave the hangers of the Star Destroyers there stationed to....there plan was to overwhelm the Rebel Fighters with sheer number and power...The Lancer Frigates and Gunships all concetrated there firepower on the Rebel Star Fighters taking out some in the process...The Star Destroyers began to concetrate all Tubolaser fire on the Rebel Capital Ships

this is not God-Modding, the Lancers frigates are a mere 250 metres long, whereas an SSD is 8000 mtres long (give or take 100 metres or so) with the hangar bays along the outside of the underbelly of the ship (4 on each side) there is plenty of roon, it justy means the underside has a lot of hangar bays.

OOC: Just a note... There is no way, you could have gotten to Biringi so fast... Hyperspace travel takes a while, a couple of days to get from Tatoonine to Coruscant. In response to Malatose, an SSD although big is not infinite in size. It is impossible to hold that many lancers,that many squadrons of starfighters and that many troops aboard, withuot having sizable cutbacks in something...

"Sir, we have new Imp ship signatures, and they are launching fighters!." Janson said.
"Oh great, Pole Arm and Obsedian you watch our backs while we make our run. Defender, Onyx and Typhoon you keep making your runs on the SSD. Everyone else we will make our runs and then see what happens." Wedge ordered.

After making their runs every one awaited Wedges orderers.
"Rapier and Rampant you go over with Pole Arm and Obsidian and try to hold those fighters back. Talon and Orion you keep making your runs on the SSD's bridge until the fighters get too close, and Flash and Bolt you huys will stick with ous." Wedge ordered.
Wedge to everyone for another run and sent them off. He went over to help the Aand E Wings with the Ties, with Flash and Bolt squadron.

As the Malicious Intent continues to get pounded by the squadrons and the Mon Cals continue to attack the ISDs and Eclipse, the Iron Fist battle group started beating us up.
"We're going to have to either finish this or run!" Luke yelled over the com.
"I know! But how are we going to tow this thing?" Wedge asked, while doing an attack run on the Malicious.

A call to arms went out to all Rebel fleets not engaged with Imperials to make a jump to Bilbringi at full speed, in order to hold up the main fleet there. That included the SSD Lusankya, just repaired after it's capture from Isard's hands, and any other Star Destroyers captured by the New Republic including the Errant Venture.
The Neb-B frigates and the Rebel gunships started engaging the Lancers and gunships just jumped in, to keep them off the fighters' backs.
OOC: A sabacc card i had up my sleeves, the Lusankya was. Now the battle becomes bigger, :twisted: .

Theres a pic of the Soverign class SSD relative to DS2. Its about 20k long i think. Basically, VERY big with a s**t load of guns. The weapons are basically 52% anti-fighter, and only 48% anti....well, anti anything bigger than a fighter. The reason for this is to combat its main weakness, namely fighters. Oh, and ive diverted a squad of the gunships i said about earlier as well. I'd advise running. Theyve been stripped of all their weapons to make space for 2 turbolaser cannons. Unfortunately that means they need fighter support, but thats already there anyway.

The Sovereign

A less powerful design of the Eclipse-class (This interruption is by me, Rincweed. To out it simply, you win this round) has been created named the Sovereign-class (it still overwhelms the original Super Star Destroyer design). The Emperor envisioned a fleet of these vessels. The first of the line is the Sovereign. Other potential ships in the line include the Autarch, Despot and Heresiarch.

Unlike the Eclipse, the Sovereign-class only carries 35 squadrons of fighters and five of Bombers. [It should be noted that the Emperor's Hammer made some slight modifications to the Sovereign to allow a total of 42 TIE Squadrons. (7 Wings of TIEs!)]

There are also 75 AT-ATs, 200 ST-ATs, dozens of support shuttles, assault transports and escort shuttles, two full legions of stormtroopers, and 5 full garrison bases stowed on board to meet any planetary assault needs.



The Axial Superlaser

The main weapon aboard the SSSD Sovereign is the axial superlaser: a spine-mounted superlaser modeled on the main weapon of the Death Star itself. The Death Star's prime weapon was composed of eight individual lasers that could focus together, generating enough power to destroy an entire planet. By comparison, the Sovereign carries only a single laser, but recent focusing and generator advances make this ray much more powerful than the units used on the Death Star. The beam packs enough destructive power to shatter the most powerful planetary shields and sear whole continents in a flash.

The axial superlaser can be fired up to eight times per day at nominal charge and once per day at full charge. A full charge would destroy any planet in the Galactic Empire...

Imperial Gunners are some of the best trained fixed-mount weapon specialists in the Empire. Their advanced tactical combat training and enhanced targeting systems linked to their helmets make them extremely accurate and deadly foes. [It takes one full regiment of Imperial Gunners (approximately 1,000 gunners) working simultaneously to fire the Axial Superlaser under normal combat conditions.]

OOC: Actually, the Soverign-class is a bit smaller than the Eclipse class, about 12-15 km, but still has the same minisuperlaser. The Emperor Reborn almost built four of this class, but they were either stripped apart for Star Destroyers and other ships, or destroyed. Just a bit-o-trivia from a rabid fan. :P

"By the Force! Evacuate the One! Repeat, evacuate the One at once!" Ackbar ordered. In a few minutes, some escape boats and other craft started streaming out...
A couple frigates and fighters moved towards the One in order to, if necessary, defend the Mon Cal cruiser from the weapon about to be fired.

Jonris then clicked his com, in thanks to the E-wing pilot and then flew back on an attack run against an unlucky ISD, shooting a proton torpedo that took out the port shield generator.
The Mon Cal cruisers used their shields as a buffer against the wall of turbolasers the Imps created, but a few fighters, including one Jedi, lost their lives to it. The cruisers continued to ion cannon and turbolaser the SDs, destroying one, and heavily damaged several others. The Neb-B and other frigates went after the Lancers, and took them apart one by one, and then went after the VSDs. To be honest, i dont know. It took the actual death star about 30 seconds, but ill make this one 1 minute since, well, 30 seconds is too short in my opinion, even if this one is smaller.

The bridge crew ran from the bridge, making it out with only 5 seconds to spare as the lethal barrage turned the bridge into scrap metal.

Too late for the One, probably, but not too late for the battle.

OOC I'm not sure if ive mentioned Malus squadron before. It's basically rouge squadron, except evil. They also have enough training from me to be able to dodge shots in dogfights, but, like all jedi, can still be beten with enough firepower. Also, there's 30 of these guys. Dont expect them to go down easily. And one last thing. Protons will simply be shot down by them.

The giant shield bubble hold up against the onslaught, but weaken on the Lancers slowly. A Rogue was killed during this part of the battle. With the help of Wraith Squadron, the other Rogues and Jedi Squadron help reduce the Malek Squadron in half. Mon Cal cruisers not attacking the Intent assault the Fury in hopes that some might pop the bubble. OOC: The Lusankya task force is very near now, and will revert to realspace by the next Rincweed post.

The SSD Ironfist began to concetrate all fire on the Rebel Capital ships...The other Star Destroyers also began to split up and go after the capital while the TIE Defender and TIE Interceptor Squadrons went after the rebel fight groups taking out 10 Rebel Fighters in the process.The Lancer Frigates and Corellian Gunships also went after the Rebel Fighters taking out 3.

"No!!!" Jonris shouted, as the superlaser beam slashed through the Home One and a frigate like a lightsaber through transparisteel. Fortunately, most of the ship, including Admiral Ackbar escaped, but many people still died, but the boy didn't quite know yet. As the Intent's fleet disappeared into hyperspace, a familiar voice went over he NR channels.
"Could someone please come and help us? We are quite stuck out here." Admiral Ackbar said, in a personal shuttle. A sigh of relief washed over the fleet.
"Form up on the escape pods!" Wedge ordered, as the K'unark'ark picked up the pods. Some X-wings and A-wings picked off harrassing TIEs until the Neb-B frigate picked them up.

The SSD Lusankya and it's task force suddenly jumped out of hyperspace, and started engaging the Iron Fist. Deadly waves of green turbolasers rained upon the Imperial craft. It's the battle of the titans now.

"Woohoo! The cavalry has arrived!" Garm Bel Ibliss shouted aboard the giant ship. He transferred from his ship before when the task forse was set up. Squadrons of fresh X, Y, A, B and E-wing fighters joined the battle, as the new Neb-B and Lancers assaulted the Imperial Lancers. The Star Destroyers and Mon Cal cruisers bolstered the assault, and with their help, all the smaller capships concentrated their firepower on the Chimaera's Fury.

The Entor and Thunderbolt begin to concetrate all Ion Cannon and Turbolaser fire on the Lusankya while TIE Bombers begin to launch concussion missiles and Proton torpedoes into the Lusankya's shiels

Meanwhile above Fondor the Emperor arrived on the 98% percent completed DeathStar III to a huge welcoming celebration...

The Mon Cals and smaller SDs attack the Imperial SDs while the battle of the Titans continue. The Lusankya continues to return fire with turbolasers and Ion Cannons, as well as concussions and protons. An X-wing squadron attacks the TIE bombers before too much damage is done. Shields still holding at 90%. What's left of Rogue, Jedi, Wraith, and other fighter squadrons make attack runs on the Iron Fist, helping the Rebel SSD. Other squadrons decimate the TIEs out there, freeing up some frigates to try and make a run for the Eclipse.

OOC: How long before the DS3 gets here? Is there a weakness? Remember, there has to be one or you are godmodding.

The SSD Ironfist continued to pummel the Lusankya with its Turbolaser fire and Ion Cannon Fire....The 3 Lancer Frigates and 4 Corellion gunships also fired onto the Rebel Fighters..taking out 4 in the process...4 Squadrons of TIE Bombers this time following by TIE Defender escorts launched another bombing run on the Lusankya...this time launching Proton Bombs,Proton torpedoes and concussion missiles on the shields of the mammoth ship.The other SDs began to attack the 2 Star Destroyers helping the Lusankya take out the Ironfist.

"I don't think we can take the Eclipse, sir." Jonris commed Wedge. "The Imps are really fighting hard to keep that ship."
"Then we'll have to destroy it. 1/2 of all fighter squadrons, take on the Iron Fist, the second half will attack the reactor of the Eclipse."

As ordered, 1/2 of the fighters not engaged in dogfights make runs on the Fist's reactor and bridge, and the other half attack the reactor of the Eclipse. The Rebel Lancers strike out against the TIE bombers and Defenders, downing several. OOC: remember that among the fighters are antiship B-wings, they'll be slightly more effective at hurting the shields.

"How's the shields?" Bel Iblis asked.
"82% and going down." the shield monitor replied.
"Ok, start rolling the ship. that should loosen up the shields. Keep firing on that SSD!"
"Yes sir!"
As the ship rolled, more turbolasers and ion cannons from the sides keep firing on the Iron Fist, continuing to pummel the shields. The Rebel SDs and Mon Cals pull back and concentrate on each SD at a time, sure that the concentrated firepower would be too much for each of them. The Neb-Bs and Rebel gunships continue their assault on the Lancers and enemy gunships, destroying a lancer and a gunship, and heavily damaging two others.

" :roll: Not again!" Jonris said. "Can't these guys ever learn they are not to mess with us?"

Three squadrons of X-wings(plus the Jedi) and Wraith's leader break off and attack the Shadows. Many are killed off by the now veteran Jedi pilots. The Venture and another Mon Cal attack the new Star Destroyer that came in, hurting it a lot, then resume attacking other Star Destroyers. A flight of B-wings make an attack run on the Destroyer, weakening it even more.

the shadow's change tatics and start to crash into the Venture

Shadow Vetren:Where is the one called jonris? i challenge him!

Heavy damage forces the Venture off the attack on the Shadow SD and into hyperspace, but not before giving it a bloody nose, so to speak. Jonris and Blake, using the element of surprise, dived upon the enemy leader, both firing their lasers and scoring hits.

Shadow Vet:I have you now jedi!

Jonris and Blake split up so that the torpedo can track only one. It tracks Blake. He aims for the Tempest bridge, dodging turbolasers and veers off at the last second, letting the missile hit the bridge. If there was two, then both do the same as above, so there's double the damage. They then resume the attack on the leader.

"Pull us away from that SSD before it tears us to shreds"said Admiral Piett

"Yes,Sir" said Captain Melar

The massive SSD Ironfist then begins to pull away from the SSD Lusankya while still firing its turbolasers at the mammoth ship....The other SDs continue to fire on the Rebel Capital ships but a VSD gets blown to pieces

In the far corners of Biringi the massive DeathStar III and fyyars fleet jumps out of Hyperspace.

"Emperor,My Master,We have arrived"said the Imperial Commander

"Excellent...I forsee the Imperial Fleet crushing the Rebel Fleet...all ships attack...deflector shields up"said the Emperor.

"Oh, no. We can't win this." Admiral Ackbar said noticing the Death Star and the new fleet. "All craft, if you can, make a microjump out of this system. Get out of here!"

The faster fighters make it out quickly, while Jonris and Blake make one last dogfight against the enemy leader, finally killing him together after another five minutes. They jump out. The Rebel Star Destroyers and Mon Cal cruisers make it out next. Then the Lusankya, firing off ten concussions at the Iron Fist's bridge, breaks off, rams some Lancers and makes a quick jump before the DS's shadow reaches it. The frigates, the Falcon and all other ships with working hyperdrives leave the area. Bilbringi is still in Imperial hands. We lost. :evil: :cry:

The battered fleet meet up outside the system, the fighters are recalled (Rogue and Jedi in the SSD), and then they speed home for Mon Cal to lick their wounds and repair.

so all the fighters docked and everyone went to Mon Calamari to see what unfolds next.

OOC: Just a note... Going from Fondor to Biringi will take a couple of hours and the battle would have been over and the Rebels would have stolen the Eclipse... I'm gonna let it slide now, but there is time even in hyperspace...

IC: The Mon Calamari Naval Yards had been building ships for the Rebellion. As the exhausted Rebel fleet returned to Mon Calamari they were greeted by several new ships of the line, including the Rebel answer to the SSD, the Bulkwark Class Battlecruiser and several additional Dauntless Class Cruisers.

Admiral Ackbar aboard the Mon Remonda gazed in astonishment at the massive fleet that had been assembled.

OOC: Don't forget the Lusankya that I pulled in to help! It helped keep the Iron Fist off the heroes' backs.

On the DeathStar III the Emperor looked at his massive Imperial Star Fleet then looked at the Eclipse Star Destroyer which was still in contruction but heavenly damaged from the Rebel Bombardment.

"Emperor,My master,I suggest we keep the fleet here"said the DeathStar IIIs commander.

"Yes,Excellent idea,The rebels will seek us out and when they do..we will destroy them"said Emperor

Yun goes to the Lift and he takes it down to the Crew quarters and goes inside his and rests while Terisa flexes her new robotic hand planning her revenge on Mara Jade

Back at the Star Station around Mon Calamari, the Heroes of the Rebellion debate about the involvement of the new Death Star.

"Another Death Star. Why did it have to be another one?" Leia lamented.
"Hmm. We'll have to throw everything we have at this one this time. it'll have a very large fleet defending it." Wedge said.
"If only we had a plan to take it out." Luke said. "There's probably screened exhaust ports in order to prevent fighters from going in and destroying it."
"there is also likely to be thousands of TIEs defending this new Death Star, more than we have, and the Emperor's best." Admiral Ackbar added.
"The Emperor...returned?" Wedge groaned.
"If Vader is back, then it is not such a hard stretch to believe that the Emperor himself is in the Death Star." Luke said, wincing at his memories of the DS2.
"Great. Just great. And here i was, thinking that our kids are finally safe from him, and I find out that the Emperor is back and more dangerous than ever." Han sighed. "What next?"
"Fyyar." Jonris piped up, coming in. "He's still waiting for a final duel on Yavin 8, right?"
"Yes. It's either him or a rematch with Vader." Luke said. "I'll have to take Vader, and this time, there'll be no mistaking he's dead."
"But, you stabbed him!" Mara said. "I saw it!"
"And those stormtroopers are just going to stand around while their lord dies?" Luke pointed out.
"Good point, and that girl still needs a spanking. She isn't real happy that she lost her hand."
"So we all have our final duels to do. That makes for an interesting final battle." Blake said.
"Yeah. But we still gotta win." Jonris added.
"Indeed we must." Ackbar said.
Preparations are still being made in terms of repair, getting new pilots, and generally making plans to deal with the DS3. It will be two weeks, at least, before everything will be ready.

Admiral Fyyar looks out his veiwport on the Arc Hammer 2 and nods to himself, the shadow Troopers and pilots are ready and his Apprentices have arrived on the new Deathstar.

Seconds later the Shuttle takes off from Bespin..and hyperdrives into the open space

"Si, I hope I am not bothering you." Wedge said as he entered the room.
"No, General not at all." Ackbar said aas he got up to greet Wedge.
"What is on your mind." Ackbar asked.
"Well, how are we going to find the weakness on this death star?" Wedge asked.
"I don't know, I wish I did but I just don't know." Ackbar replied.
Wedge still looked troubled, so Ackbar asked again, "what is wrong."
"Well sir, if we are going to take it out we are going to need hundreds more fighters and ships." Wedge said.
"Yes, we will we have already discussed this earlier." Ackbar said.
"I know, but my squadron and I would like to train some more pilots." Wedge said.
"Oh, so that is what is troubling you, I think I can let you go long enough for you to train some more squadrons." Ackbar said.
"Great!" WEdge said looking quitabitly relieved.
"So where are you going to get all these new pilots and where are you going to train them?" Ackbar asked.
"Well, Han said he could pull some strings and get us pilots from the smugglers and some friendss he knows on some planets, and I will be holding seminars in some of the Core Worlds and Academys to try to recruit, we will be training in the Yavin system." Wedge replied.
"Good, I will pass it along." Ackbar said.

Admiral Fyyar:I want the Tempest to go to Yavin 4 and await further orders, remember, Taka base must stay hidden until the jedi or jedi's come to fight me, inform the shadowtroopers onboard the Tempest not to use their forcepowers, the jedi can sense then easily if they use them


Leutenient Hogan:Yes sir, and the second Yun clone? he is ready for your command

Admiral Fyyar;He shall report to our main base on Nar shadda and keep a eye on things there.

Captain Messaline Armand, promoted after the Battle of Biringi and Commander Kamil Tolaran (commander of Talon Squadron) walked through the halls of Alliance Headquarters on Mon Calamari. They met, Wedge and Admiral Ackbar walking through the halls, takling about training at Tatoonine. Messaline, overhearing Wedge, decided to interject.

The Emperor continued to look out his viewing window of the still gathering Imperial Fleet when Darth Vader walks in

"I have arrived,My master"said Darth Vader

"Excellent....The end of the New Republic is near and we shall rule the galaxy once again"said the Emperor

"My master,what is the situation on the rebel fleet..?"asked Darth Vader

"They are of no concern,Vader,now go to your ship and await my orders"said the Emperor

"Yes my master"said Darth Vader

The Emperor then turns his back on Darth Vader and looks at his proud Imperial Navy gathering about the Death Star III

Grand Admiral Thrawn stepped out of his personal Epsilon Class Shuttle on the main landing pad of the new Dark Trooper Facility on Bakura. He was immediatly met by 4 Elite Stormtrooper bodyguards..

'this way Admiral' said the lead trooper, 'the scientists have been waiting to start the combat trials.'

Thrawn - i see, show me to them at once.
trooper - of course, right this way Admiral

*5 minutes of walking later, and the Admiral steps onto the podium overlooking the war testing ground*

Begin, he said calmly into the mike.

A exit hatch of the facility opened and 6 large droids stepped out. Three resembled armoured construction droids with large force pikes. standing a massive 2.5 metres in height, they ran onto the battle arena faster than any man ever could.

Immediatly the holograms were activated, a total of 25 holographic rebel troopers and 3 speeders. All the troops were armed with DH-17 blaster rifles ands the speeders had one rear facing repeating blaster each.

the droids sprang into action, their sensors identifing the enemy, running at full speed with holographic blaster bolts pinging off their regenerative laminanium armour. Drawing their cutting swords at point blank range they slashed troopers in half, systematically eliminating the enemy troops.

Half a minute later all that remained were the speeders, dismembered troopers lay all around the arena. The droids ran at full speed, one to each speeder they jumped on top and used their one hand to wrip open the canapy and hurl the driver and gunner from their seats, impaling them on their swords and finishing the exercise. two of the droids were unharmed however one of them had taken a balster bolt from a speeder in the face, pitting the armour all the way down to the exoskeleton.

Thrawn - very impressive, and those were only the phase ones, begin exercise two captain.

Yessir!

The second three droids stepped towards the arena. These were an even more impressive 2.7 metres tall and held a modified rifle known as an Assault Cannon in their right hand. These droids looked more like huge, black stormtroopers. The holographic enemies appeared once again, but this time there was a 70 trooper group, 5 turrets and 10 speeders, all against 3 dark troopers! Immediatly they raised their rifles and began firing plasma shells into the crowd of enemies. Then they jumped into the air and fired their jetpacks, flipped in mid air, and fired multiple rockets into the speeders and turrets. This marvelous display of evasion and firepower continued for 30 more seconds before all enemies were obliterated. The dark trooper phase Two's were unharmed.

most of the Defences are constructed withing day's while the main structures take alittle longer,the Engineers decide to make the Holographic chamber and the Datadisc Holding Room underground in the heart of the Base

Admiral Fyyar gazes at the Hologram of the Death Star III from the Safe, a safe that is kept secret from most of his Dark Jedi and keeps his personal and top-secret information and equipment, the Datadisk with a copy of the Death Star III specificiations, the original are with the Emperor, across from him a Lightstaff (Double-blade Lightsaber) sits on a table waiting for use, the Dark lord just ignores it and continues to his Prize, the acual Datadisc where the Hologram got it's Data to project the DSIII from.

After a couple weeks of training, the fighter squadrons are ready to fight though still green.

The Intelligence director, General Airen Cracken walks in Admiral Ackbar's office with some important information.
"Admiral, my intel officers have reported that there may be a way to take down the new Death Star, but we will have to go to the Yavin system to get it."
"Plans?"
"Maybe, but we're not sure. We'd better send some forces there, just in case."
"Right. I'll cut orders for three Cruisers, a frigate and some squadrons to go. Perhaps some of the Jedi should go with them, just in case."
"All right, then."

Orders are cut for the Errant Venture, the Republic's Return (a MC-80B cruiser), the Corusca Rainbow (a captured Interdictor), the K'unark'ark, Rogue Squadron, Jedi Squadron, and a few other generic squadrons ( :twisted: MWAHAHAHAHA! Fear the generic people! :twisted: ) to head for the Yavin system and search out any place where there may be an Imperial presence around. Once arrived, they will jam all communications and boot up the gravity wells, so that it will take a lot longer to get reinforcements to the area, remembering the fiasco at Bilbringi.

the Captian sends his aknologment and orders the fleet to hid behind the planet Yavin.

about 3 minutes later they start to move behind the planet and wait


on the Planet Fyyar looks at the Death Star Plans and orders more Naval Troopers to guard the acual safe with Yuun (The modifyed clone), meanwhile he goes and examines the rest of his prizes

The small fleet makes the jump to hyperspace towards the Yavin system.

On the Death Star III all the current Imperial Commanders and Captains had been assembled for a conference with the Emperor.

The Emperor then walks over and activates a holographic map of Mon Calamari

"My master,Construction shall be complete in 2 days on the Eclipse"said a Engineer.

"Excellent..go back to your ships..there you shall wait until further orders"said the Emperor

The task force jumps out of hyperspace and immediately starts jamming all outgoing signals. Meanwhile, the captain of the Corusca Rainbow orders the gravity wells to turn on, trapping any Imperials in the area. The squadrons are scrambled, and then the New Republic forces start attacking Imperial ships in the area. 2 ISDs and another capship should not be a big problem.

Jonris then felt a disturbance in the Force. There is a presence on one of the moons of Yavin, the one designated number 8, but he has to fight off the enemy fighters, first.

The Nightstalker Launches 6 Squadrons of Tie Shadow's and 2 Squadrons of Tie Advanced, the other 2 Stardestroyer launch all their fighters as well

Fyyar nods, he turns to the tape on the table in front of him and activates one of his blades on his lightstaff then strikes the disc cutting it into 2 peices


Fyyar:It is done, i am loading my Sith Artifacts into a Shuttle and i am sending them to Nar Shadda, I will be comming to the Death Star shortly my master.


he cut's the forceconnection then immeadiatly gives orders to load a Lambda-class Shuttle with his Sith Artifacts and the 2 Jedi Holocrons that he found aboard

The New Republic answers the Captain with a turbolaser strike upon the Star Destroyers (what class of ship is the Nightstalker?), the K'unark'ark handles the fighters easily, while Wraith and a B-Wing squadron aims torpedoes and missiles at the Nightstalker, with Rogue Squadron escorting them. The Jedi and other squadrons attacks the TIE Shadows to keep them off Rogue's backs. (remember, you can't retreat until you pass the Interdictor, but I don't think Lord Fyyar knows about the ship).

4 squadrons were launched from the Mon Cal, 3 from the Venture and 2 from the Neb-B. That makes 9 against 9-10 Imperial squadrons.

OOC:the NightStalker is a Ordinary SSD.

The Arc Hammer II Launches 10 Squadrons of Tie Shadow's and fires it's turbolasers.

OOC:the Arc Hammer is 3/4 the size of a SSD and has HUGE landing bay's for Ties. it also builds them slowly

The Jedi take over from the Rogues (except Corran and any other Force-sensitives in the squadrons) and begin to slowly decimate the Shadows. The Wraiths and other heavy fighter/bombers continue to pound the SSD with missiles and torpedoes, as it is the largest target, with generic X-wings and A-wings fighting off the Advances. The Rainbow, hearing of the battle, sends it's own reserve squadrons (1 X-wing, 1 Y-wing, 1 A-wing), and radios for reinforcements. Another captured ISD and a Mon Cal answer the call and will arrive soon. The K'unark'ark pulls back after receiving damage, and gets protected by the shields of the Mon Cal. The Venture and the Return concentrate firepower on one of the ISDs, hoping to take it out of play.

the ISD Wrath get's 50% damage to it's sheilds and 3 Tie Shadow Squadron's are taken out of action.

the Nightstalkers shields go to 70% and it Launches 6 more Tie Shadow Squadrons,the Arc Hammer II Launches 3 More Tie Shadow Squadrons and a Assult Gunboat squadron with Proton Torpedo's loaded.

the Assult Gunboats go for the Rainbow,aiming for it's shield Generators and Bridge.

2 Tie Shadow's go on a suicide run on the K'unark'ark and ram it's bridge hoping to cripple the starhsip.

the ISD Bloodly Launches it's last Tie Advanced Squadron and they go for Rouge Squadron.

From the Planet 2 Squadrons of modifyed Tie Shadow's with modifyed weapons and engines, they go for the Jedi only.

1,seemly different From the rest opens a channel to the Rebels on a private frequency


Pilot:Alliance, in a few minutes the Empire will destroy you, i have been having second thoughts of the empire, just 2 day's ago i learned somthing disterbing about Fyyar, do you wish to hear it?

Luke opened a private channel to the pilot, while dodging lasers. "What is it that you wish to tell us?"

The K'unar'ark blasts the Shadows before they hit the bridge, but still receives damage from the flaming debris. 50% still working. The reinforcing ISD and Mon Cal jump out early due to the gravity wells, and start launching fighters (mixed generic squadrons attacking the Advanced craft) and open fire upon the ISDs. A dying fighter (ironically an A-wing) aims for the bridge of the SSD, hoping to take it out the same way the Executor was taken out (by being forced to be pulled into the Gas giant). The Rainbow missiles and lasers the gunboats, but receives damage to the shields and bridge in return. The Arc Hammer is struck in strategic areas by torpedoes from daring pilots.

Pilot:My name is Yara Terkar,it concerns artifacts i just found out about, Admiral Fyyar has scoured the Galaxy for Sith AND jedi Holocrons, he has alot of sith Holocrons and 2 Jedi Holocrons i think, also he has somesort of septor that can drain the force energy out of a object, like a place strong with the force, and he's drained the power that's in the septor into himself making himself somhow stronger, he has more force abillity's, it's like he's trying to get as much force energy as he can, i do not know what yet.

the Arc Hammer recives minimal damage, it starts to make a run for it on it's sublight engines.the NightStalker cals for the rest of Fyyar's fleet, (About 40 Stardestroyers) and it jumps into hyperspace bound for the yavin System ETA is 6 minutes in RL


The Nightstalker shoots the A-wing down without any problems, Fyyar only chooses the Best Gunners for the Nightstalker's Turbolasers

The A-wing dies and only pieces hit the hull. The reinforcements help the original capships fight the ISDs, weakening them even further, and the Nightstalker still continues to be attacked on the bridge and engines. Some B-wings and E-wings throw concussions at the engines of the Arc Hammer, hoping to shut them down.

Messaline grits his teeth as his E-wing goes into a upward barrel spin attacking the Nightstalker's Reactor, followed by ten members of his squadron. Messaline fires his proton torpedoes and peels away. Immediately he begins to track a Shadowfighter and using his trio of laser cannons began to fire.

OOC:The Shields are still up so Torps wouldn't damage the reactor,it would only damage the shields.and my Tie's are modifyed,all of mine are.

The Nightstalkers shields go down to 50%, it starts to move away at full sublight. getting out of range of the Gravity well projectors.

Tie Advanced class fighters have a pair of Concussion Missile tubes on either side of the fuselage aswell as 4 laser cannons

I think, an ISD, a Nebulon-B, a Mon Cal, and an Interdictor...

also, destroying the plans would be pretty useful, so a land battle should take place for you to get the plans for yourself, that might be interesting

There are a row of stormtroopers on one side and a row of officers on the other. There is figure waiting at the foot of the ramp, with the insigna of a captain. Then a stern looking officer, with the insigna of an admiral, comes down the ramp.

Captain: Greetings Admiral, the crew is glad of your return.

They walk to together.

Admiral Georg von Hertling: Thank you, Captain. But the Emperor is not in a good mood with this news about Yavin VIII. We are to assemble a force out of what we can spare and aid Grand Admiral Thrawn in removing these rebels from the system.

Captain: As you wish, Admiral.

Admiral Georg von Hertling: And Captain, contact Grand Admiral Thrawn when we are assembled.

They walk away in different directions.

OOC: Coruscant is ruled by the New Republic, btw, so unless you want the entire elite system fleet on your butt, you'd best change starting areas.

he cuts the connection and sends the shuttle to the far side of the planet unnoticed, then it leaves on the otherside away from the battle


Meanwhile the Other ISD is Destroyed, the SSD sends their response to the rebels


Captian Staven:we shall not surrender you rebel scum, ALL REMAINING SHADOWFIGHTERS LAUNCH!

and i think i will set up a second dark trooper facility there too

I don't think so! Luke sensed the Lambda trying to get away and attacks it with his lasers. Meanwhile, all the ships in the reinforcing fleet (2 ISD, 1 VSD, 3 Mon Cal, the Interdictor with missiles), except for the Jedi, attack the Nightstalker with all the weapons at their disposal (turbolasers, ion cannons, missiles and torpedoes). The reinforcing frigates attack the Shadowfighters with help from the Jedi.

you are right, my ship wont arrive at YAvin 8 for 2 RL hours so that would be....................10 past 9 GMT

then i will give you hell

I have class during that time, so hopefully by that time, the battle will be over.
