You could use a combat ship (perhaps a Fenris or a corvette) for a transport. That's what high level people use in Klonor. However, if you do not feel that it is appropriate to use a capital ship for a transport, I could sell you an Argos. It's the next level of transport

The old Arcadia station was obsolete even before the Capella incident. The Arcas, a slightly smaller installation, is designed to replace it in certain areas. 1000 Hecate's? Let's see, a couple RL years. In my entire fleet I only have 5 Hecate's. They're massive, require 15,000 crew members each, and the supplies required to keep it going are through the roof. If I start now, I could be done by 2005 (no joke)

Basically they are defense cannons correct? Actually we'll take one of the NMDS for trila purposes. Their final location must remain classified so we will have them delivered to the system Tanzenda and they will be moved elsewhere.

It's a defense system for Earth based future-tech nations. The only thing it's good for is shooting down missiles launched from one point on a planet to another point on the same planet. So, unless you're experiencing a civil war or share your planets with somebody else they're pretty much useless.

Just want to make sure you don't waste your money (customers have a habit of not coming back if you sell them useless stuff)

KDF also offers system wide defense systems. Useing the exact same stuff that you'd be useing, I have made my territory practically impregnable. I have never had even one of my systems come even close to being conquered. Some good quality stuff being offered.

We are looking at something on a much grander scale. We want to develop a hyperspatial defense platform in combining Klonor defense technology and Indra Prime Temporal and Spatial Technology. We can send you the formulas needed for such a construction. However this technology will have to be controlled by our nations to prevent this stuff from getting out of hand. That is if youre interested in developing it together.

Uh-huh. You seem to have forgotten that very few people use Hyperspace. My FTL tech would just zip right past those. I don't see the point in investing money and resources on something that will only be effective against a tiny fraction of enemies.

That is the interesting part. These platforms would be able to detect ships using FTL and or hyperspace. We are not talking about conventional munitions but something like a subspace pulse that would disrupt any FTL field generation device. It would not specifically attack a ship just nullify any ability to travel FTL in a certain region or for that matter use hyperspace through that region as well. The design is extremely complex and is not easily described. It will work against any ship using anything faster than sublight engines.

Except....no. How would it stop my FTL? Would it destroy the universe? Cause that the only way to destroy Sub-Space is to destroy the universe, and the destruction of Sub-Space is the only way to stop Sub-Space travel.

To explain things. In order to create a stable field that would allow for FTL travel, you would have a stable subspace field surrounding the ship. If there was not a stable subspace field surrounding the ship then FTL travel, or warp drive would be impossible. Similar things occur with hyperspatial travel. What we invision doing is creating a device that sends out constantly changing subspace pulses for a radius of approximately 1.75 light years. This would effectively disrupt the effort of making a stable warp field, or whatever you want to call it. Now, dealing with hyperspace disruption. There is a necessary energy "connection" between the fabric of Hyperspace and the vessel travelling through it. We would modulate a pulse that would be sent out at the same time as the warp field dampener so they would both be working toward the same goal. Neither of these pulses would destroy the universe nor would they damage the fabric of space/time. All they would do is temporarily disrupt the subspace fields and hyperspatial fields needed for FTL travel.

(I've been studying in RL the theoretical applications of spatial dynamics, which include actual applications of Hyperspace and subspace.)

Bobaria sells Vasudan ships (although not as many ships as I sell). To my knowledge we're the only FreeSpace tech nations.

It's not used by any other NS nation (except Bobaria) and the Sub-Space it refers to is not the Sub-Space used by many other nations.

Indra Prime, it would be incredibly hard if not impossible to create a device that would stop all types of FTL used in NS space. A project involving 10 or more nations for 20 years MIGHT be able to create such a device with nearly unlimited resources, but I doubt it. It simply isn't realistic.
