I moved from Vancouver to go to school at UVic, and to be with my guy, who moved here for school as well. I don't like the city itself, the number of homeless and the drugs and the fact that I feel less safe here at night than I did in Vancouver; I had an incident after I'd been here for a couple weeks, and since then, I feel a little on edge. I don't like the isolation, the lack of anything to do, the transit system, the fact that the members of SAW at UVic are effing dumbasses who don't know how to conduct themselves in public and make me embarrassed to be a UVic student... I don't like the climate (the lack of snow, for one - even Vancouver gets snow). I just don't like it. :p

Okay, this is how long it finally got before I cut it. My bangs grew to just around a centimetre below the Husker Du logo on my shirt (an actual centimetre as far as the photo goes --- in reality, it was about five)... The back grew almost two centimetres below the bottom extremity of the photo (which is where my waist is).

So yeah, it was really long. Considering it only takes around two-and-a-half years for it to reach that length, that's not bad.

I moved from Vancouver to go to school at UVic, and to be with my guy, who moved here for school as well. I don't like the city itself, the number of homeless and the drugs and the fact that I feel less safe here at night than I did in Vancouver; I had an incident after I'd been here for a couple weeks, and since then, I feel a little on edge. I don't like the isolation, the lack of anything to do, the transit system, the fact that the members of SAW at UVic are effing dumbasses who don't know how to conduct themselves in public and make me embarrassed to be a UVic student... I don't like the climate (the lack of snow, for one - even Vancouver gets snow). I just don't like it. :p

Really? Judging by that photo, I thought you were almost 100% Italian... Though certain camera angles can show totally different people.

It's okay, though. Due to my Native American ancestry, my skin turns reddish when I tan, so people often think I have a constant case of sunburn. Hah, the joke's on them! I'm a bit of an odd mix, really. Mostly Irish, followed by Scottish, and then English, German, French, and Scandinavian (this last one being very little and from a long ways back --- we're not sure if it's Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian, though we know it's definitely not Finnish). And to think that before I was six years old, my hair was platinum blonde... I'm quite tempted to dye it and see how it looks on me at this age.
