I don't think it uploaded correctly, it's only 4KB. Looks like an .ogg (or as I'd imagine an .ogg looks) and WinAmp can get the bitrate and things from it, but no noise. At 112Kb/s it'd be less than a third of a second anyway.

i'm bored so i decided to try pimping my skilz, as it were, and record me playing my geetar. this is a simple blues piece that i've been playing since i was about 12 and i usually play it as a warm-up but everyone i play it for seems to like it more than anything else i play *shrug*.
anyway, inside blues (http://media.putfile.com/inside-blues), written by peter nuttal (i think). if i'm still bored later and this gets a positive reception i might see my way to recording something a bit more interesting though i am out of practice so it may well sound shit.

do it! :D
in the last few years i've only played my guitar when i have essays or revision to do and then i only do run-throughs rather than work at the tunes so i've basically cemented all the flaws in my playing without trying to fix them which is no good thing, hence the rather stiff rhythm. in a month i'll have time on my hands to really focus on my playing, yay! :)

he and his wife, and his cousin and his wife came over here a while back, first generation of my family in this country.
*thinks* That would have been around the civil war here. I'm not suprised he left. My great grandfather moved, but to a different part of Ireland.
My grandfather and my grandmother were actually cousins.....eww......so my mom is not only inbred but 100% Irish blood, my dad was only half, other half German, his mom had a weird accent too LOL :p she would start out in English and then start cursing me in German, it was hilarious because I had no idea what she was saying

in the last few years i've only played my guitar when i have essays or revision to do and then i only do run-throughs rather than work at the tunes so i've basically cemented all the flaws in my playing without trying to fix them which is no good thing, hence the rather stiff rhythm. in a month i'll have time on my hands to really focus on my playing, yay! :)
I will, when I have the time. Probably not this weekend (definitely Monday though). I suck anyway; the piece you played would probably challenge me more than a bit. My problem is plenty of time but no motivation - a problem when I have an exam for it looming. :P

Yay! :fluffle:
And hell, you sound nothing like I thought you would! You sound all grown-up and serious and severe and I basically think you and Fass switched voices.
And I can totally hear the Nordic accent in both of your voices. So cute. *giggles*
Maybe he and Fass have switched voices!
You horribly fail at the important things in life. ;P
Perhaps, but I have a big post count. That compensates.
Once you start sounding like 19, I shall take back anything I ever said, but while you're sounding like 30+ (yes, I knew your age), you don't get to be irritated. ;]
But.....but, I don't sound old. :(
And yes, I shall quit mindlessly bouncing the thread and post a file .. somewhen later today. Promise.
You had better.

Kind of. His Royal Highness the King Carl XVI Gustav was coronated in 1973 in the middle of a constitutional reform programme which was to have as a result the de jure (in stead of as it had previously been de facto) establishment of parliamentarianism and constitutional monarchy in Sweden (making the government a de jure and no longer a de facto government, as opposed to the privy council it had officially been, not to mention the unicameralisation of the parliement which was finally officially made the supreme centre of power). There was a strong movement to go even further and completely abolish the monarchy within the parliament, so the Royal Estates had to send a sort of signal that the new monarch was ready to accept this final stripping of all the vestiges of political power he had in exchange for the Monarchy being allowed to remain in a representative role. Hence, "For Sweden - With the Times"; i.e. "look, I can play nice and modern, just don't sack me".

Another fun fact: all the kings before him had been styled "Dei Gratia Suecorum, Gothorum et Vandalorum Rex" (In Swedish: "Guds Nåde Sveriges, Götes och Wendes Konung"; In English: "By the Grace of God King of the Swedes, the Goths and the Wends") and the whole "Dei Gratia/By the Grace of God" bit rhymed very poorly with his new investiture as powerless head puppet of a secular state. So, he got to contend with the simple "Sveriges Konung" - "King of Sweden".

I remembered how much I hate having my voice recorded. Let me just say, there's a reason why I never use answering machines (except in times of emergency). I think I sound better in a live conversation... Ah well, at least people seem to understand me.
Later, I shall see if I can't make one with some of my native tongue in it, if I don't first get all distracted by the shiny beads and mirrors, and my still ongoing puzzlement at what a fluffle sounds like ;)
Haha, I'm surprised anyone didn't know it..

Aye, as much as I despise them all, I have to remember that they're at least not as bad Mette-Marit (draborama, the lazy bum should start doing drugs again) and the Chicken Girl (http://pub.tv2.no/multimedia/na/archive/00148/marthasak_148640c.jpg) (ugh, my eyes still burn and I still laugh my ass off), or Denmark's pee-boy Frederik and scary-toothed monster-queen (http://img.aftonbladet.se/nyheter/0410/07/margrethe.jpg).

IIRC, they actually tried to use - "For Sweden - For Great Justice!" but they were threatened with a lawsuit from the entire internet, and had to change it.

Keeps the tabloids busy and the silly people preoccupied, what more can one ask for? I'm willing to pay for that ;)

Seems to have been quite a lot of that going on in the past...
Betty: Well, it's been awhile since we had a little cuddle.
