I don't mind spamming so much, I just dislike it when people can't even manage to type one sentence. I've complained many times about people just posting one word or a smilie (and no, adding a smilie to your single word doesn't make it any more interesting). I shouldn't pick on FD, I know it's not just him that does this although he postwhores the most. I just saw two consecutive posts with nothing actually in them (and w00t and a pfft) and just decided to mention how irritating it is. That there are people here who are quite happy just to be pleasant to each other and mess around.

You know, I've just realised something. I've come to look forward to these spamfests as a welcome retreat from the asshattery that seems to be sweeping General these days. These are my havens, reminding me that there are people out there who aren't trying to kill everyone who disagrees with their outlook on life; people who aren't constantly rehashing the same tired points while abandoning all logic. That there are people here who are quite happy just to be pleasant to each other and mess around.
