Y'know, as a dutchman I can't fathom why so many people here seem to drool over Dutch accents. But I suppose it's nice to know that if I ever go abroad I'll be instantly appealing, at least in speech..

... the funny thing though, is that there are so many different regional "English accents". But I find most all of them sexy.

German sounds kind of cool, but I've never heard anyone speak English (American?) with a German accent so I can't judge that.

I love the British dialect of English too, not just the accent.

Being Norwegian, I'd say that Dutch, Norwegian, etc are all accents that I disapprove of. I like the Asian ones better. Japanese, Chinese, etc.

I can switch between accents and I have no 'particular' one in use at the moment; most of the time I speak in a standard Scots (I live in Scotland now) accent and on occasion my original one (which I've sort of grown out of).
